Such a strange arena. An emerald fog set all around the area. The thick air could be carved with a butter knife and one could swear that it would melt onto the ground and then sizzle with the outstanding heat to prepare a meal as a replacement to vegetable oil. Trees outlined the marshland and made a dome of vegetation from the ground and up to the air. This allowed very little sunlight to peak through, making tiny visible rays of light to brighten the green fog. Within the actual battlefield, trees were very scarce. The humidity caused leaves to drip off as if skin were melting slowly off of bone. Bases of trees were softened and branches were more flexible. This was proven by how Aria, with hair shortened black and eyes shining with a better hue of blue, pushed the bendable twigs to the side. Her body was wet with clamminess and her boots were plunged in water which rose calf high. She stood only inches away from the largest tree which conveniently made its birthplace the center of this area. Flurries of insects spun around the area and many of them took home to the thatches of land that was spread about the weaving rivers of water. The ground was easy, her boot print being made with just the slightest of pressure. A robust inhale was heard from her mouth and a titter exuded from her mouth. She could feel the presence of her newest adversary. It was not a mere feeling with physical nerves or silly organic things such as thought. No. This was a feeling that was bred by numbers and calculations. Within her bright blue iris, a red square flickered. She was reading him. Gathering all the information she could muster up. “Raiosu Kirishi. Seems to be around the physical age of 19. No real age recorded in my database. Height is around 5’7. This will be a great chance to add more data about him. I only worked with him once before when we closed that dimensional portal.” She awaited his complete arrival, stepping a foot or two away from the tree. Even with 5’7 being considered short, she was still beat by 3 inches, staring at his cheeks without having to actually look up to his eyes. “Pretty much out of the way for a battle, I know. But I just love nature. I love fighting. I like to combine two loves to make it more than worth my while.” The mundane sound of cicadas humming could be heard. It masked both of their breaths, but it was not enough to mask their words. “There is no hostility between us. But one thing we can agree on is that warriors must fight to stay in shape, right?” The fog parted where she stood as her power began to rise. “Let’s not hold anything back. Push each other to the very limits of our bodies. Don’t you Saiyans enjoy that?” In truth, she knew nothing about Raiosu. She could only base him off of baseless assumptions. A razor circle of fog rose from around her feet. Her hair wildly sprang up and a quick high pitched zap was heard. After that instance, everything returned to normal visually. Fog began to reset in its position and her hair fell down from the clutches of pressure that stood it up. Her power had increased. She hopped backwards, it was only common gallantry to place space between friendly warriors. Upon making the space she slid her foot forward and sprang toward him at a high speed. Dancing just centimeters across the ground, her body leaned forward with her head leading the charge. A fist yanked back, her body nearly yielding and bringing her to an upright position; her knee risen and her chest poking out. With a great force, and black energy snaking around her knuckles, she pushed her fist forward for an explosive punch aimed at his face for a hard jab to his cheek. Her chest puffed out again as she brought her other fist upward for an uppercut which was aimed at his chin, black energy enforcing her knuckles with a lack of explosion. Aria’s foot tapped onto the ground, creating sweet music of dirt splish-splashing. Another tap against the pillow soft earth, mud dripping from her boot, and she skipped backwards. Both of her feet pecked the muddy ground as she reached the base of the tree. “Allow me to show you why I love nature.” She pointed her hand at Raiosu. Ripping from the soft base of the tree were slivers of wood and they aimed themselves at Raiosu’s general direction, but not once did they seem to be aimed directly at him. Instead, the tree itself began to fall. The mighty tree tipped over and endangered Raiosu, putting him in the position to be crushed by its might. WC: 818

Raiosu flew up, through the skies. Kami told him he had seemed in an unusually desensitized state, and told him to speak to Master Roshi. After her reached the old perv, he was told to go to a forest. It was a very familiar forest to him, as he had been there before. He had some fond memories of this confusing forest, skipping rocks here 'til he could control them with his own Ki. Roshi found the oddest way of teaching the young Saiyan the Spirit ball attack, but it made the most sense, controlling your chi was a big enough challenge for the sheltered country-boy. He didn't detect anyone there, at first. He dropped down from the skies and into the forest, landing in some mud. As the gunk splashed everywhere, he had gotten his slack-leg wet, and was now covered in drying dirt. He stood up. The sounds of insects buzzing loudly and birds chirping was normal, but this was also a place of bad memories. The disturbing thoughts he had had here lead him to believe this forest was a nexus of shamanistic power. He believed he had been misled, but his scouter didn't lie. He couldn't sense his foe's Ki, but that Power Level that had rung up really put him onto his toes. Mentally, he was prepared, but somehow he felt like he was walking into a deathtrap. His intuition said that he had let his guard down. He heard a voice; Or at least, he thought he did. He was beginning to get nervous. He knew the voice, it had sounded familiar, though he refused to admit it. He turned as he walked, walking backwards and keeping his eyes out for his foe. He plodded along, though, his boots pushing into the ground. He then turned around, as he saw a feminine-form. His usual leg-cramping was beginning to start, though it was an emptier sensation than usual. Thanks to Avalon, he was beginning to deduce the possibilities. Perhaps my leg is cramping because it's a girl... but there's no Ki signature. Therefore it could be a ghost. She finally emerged fully, from behind the tree to his left. She approached him slowly. Gazing at her, he remembered an ancient foe. His memory of defeats at the android named Z flew back to him. He was tough. His swordsmanship made me look like a total novice, and until Avalon, It was. He even dropped me while I had transformed into an Ouzaru. It was downright disgraceful of me to be beaten like that... but there was no excuse. He pushed back his thoughts of pain. He was lucky he had used a gem of telepathy. “Pretty much out of the way for a battle, I know. But I just love nature. I love fighting. I like to combine two loves to make it more than worth my while.” The Saiyan looked at her wide-eyed. The amount of emotion in her speech made her sound like a human. and a seasoned one at that. But he was more surprised with the power-level reading on his Scouter. He had thought he had been unbeatable, and that nobody of a similar strength existed... sub-consciously. But his waking-world thoughts begrudgingly acknowledged this. His Saiyan pride was almost untouched by non-Saiyans other than Z; He truly thought somewhere that this fight would be a piece of cake, like most others. “There is no hostility between us. But one thing we can agree on is that warriors must fight to stay in shape, right?” Raiosu trembled a bit. She looked very human. His heart skipped a beat for a quick second, but then his thoughts retreated to Aimee. "Y-yeah. First Rule of fighting. I guess. But there's no need to be too serious, is there?" He quipped. His face was red. He backed up. There was no conscious reason for him to be so flustered. “Let’s not hold anything back. Push each other to the very limits of our bodies. Don’t you Saiyans enjoy that?” He then saw a small spark above his foe, which was the only way he could currently describe what he saw. His scouter reading increased. Woah...!!! Fighting through the fear in him, he got into his fighting stance, left fist held just under his left eye, right fist below his collarbone. "Yeah...! You're right!" The woman then jumped back, and flung herself forward. As she charged she brought her fist up to his face in a jab surrounded by black energy, like a crescendo of power and technique. He noted that she had thrown a jab despite her power increase, a sign to a boxer that she was still testing him. If this was her warm-up, how would he ever hope to turn the tides? At least she still needed to test the distance between the two of them, but he was complacent when it came to fretting over an opponent's advantage. Raio stood there, and as she closed the distance, he lowered his knees and descended into a crouch, the jab skimming the top of his head. his hair had changed hues quickly, to a stunning azure. His head bled, the mere force of the power jab parting his skin. "What's your n-ugh!" he began, as he ducked, but as he moved his leg upwards to trade blows with her, the mud below him squelched as he slipped onto his back, caught off-guard by the sudden slipping of his feet. His right wooden sandal flew off, towards Aria, and his head hit the moist, dirty ground. “Allow me to show you why I love nature.” the girl said, hopping backwards. Raiosu looked up from the ground to the tree in front of him. pieces of the trunk tore off and seemed to come flying towards him. He had not seen this type of attack before. He could not react in time, and the sharper sections of wood flew towards him. He pulled his head up, the mud sounding again as he pulled himself off the earth and backed away, pushing himself backwards, onto his back. He leaned back through the mud, as the wood seemed to land towards him, but the last branch had gone a bit farther than the rest, fly onto his legs and nicking his left knee as he pushed his body out of the way. Huh? Still toying with me...? Or is she taking me seriously already? Then, the whole tree came down on top of him. He knew, whether this was an attack or accident, that he shouldn't lie on his back and take it. If it weren't for the first strike, he may not have been able to react in time, but he did, blasting himself out of the way. In hindsight, a repeated attack might eventually lose out to better judgment. He then bumped his head into a tree as he flew back, holding his head and grunting comically. he stood up into the air. "Ow, my head!" She must be falling for the cutesy-oafish act! He then landed on the ground, his hands at his side. His head turn, eyes shifting backwards. There was a tree behind him, to his left. He rushed towards it, flinging his left hand outwards at the girl as he did, and letting a small beam ball fly at her. He then grabbed the side of the tree and hid behind it. She was able to move the trees... Maybe I shouldn't be behind this tree? Or maybe it's magic? In which case I should be given a few good seconds to react... His mind raced as he ran through the possibilities.

Graceful. Majestic. All of his movements placed a spell of awe on the android. Data dotted the battlefield; numbers as far as her eye could see. Calculations of how fast he reacted to her every movement. Numbers were moving up and then down sporadically as his comical display was imminent. The outline of his muscles were riddled with highlight black lines and numbers which told her things like amounts of body fat and muscle mass. His comical attitude only proved to amuse her. Maybe she was falling for the cutesy-oafish act after all. She grinned as the miniscule beam ball headed her way. Her lips seemed to have dried out, making her lick them as the meal galloped her way. She grabbed the ball of energy and replenished a bit of her own energy. Her eyes took an unnoticeable change in size as the energy coursed itself through her body. She recalled hearing him speak to her. It sounded as if he were trying to gather her name. It was quite difficult to reach his ears when he was clutching to the back of a tree. Maybe she should get closer to him? She took one step and her body disappeared. Her speed increased beyond the eyesight of most. Her body took form once again a few inches in-front of Raiosu. “Aria. Nice to meet you. It isn’t fair that I got to know who you were first. I learned your name from Toma, the Saiyan that was with you before.” Her eyes locked onto his. Those intense blue pupils were filled with danger, but Raiosu would have been able to read how calm she was. Her arms were laying out to the side and her stance was very narrow. “Now, it really isn’t fun if you don’t fight back. Back in my days as a Grey Guard, we would fight amongst each other to build bonds. Won’t you build a bond with me?” She moved quick, still carrying that speed she had before. With a quick step, she closed the gap like a frustrated man being interrupted in his favorite book for far too long. The upper half of her body pulled back and her leg, which had black energy sparking from the tip of the foot, swung up for an explosive kick which aimed at his shoulder. Kicking her leg all the way through its motion, she was facing her back to him and her eyes flickered and those deep blue eyes began to cry crimson. Her neck pulled her body to another spin to face him and two small red beams shot from her eyes and directed themselves to his right leg. As if like rapid fire was in effect, the eyes flicked red once again after the temporary cool down. This time a larger duo of beams blasted from the edge of her pupils endangering the young Saiyan’s entire chest. WC: 484

The small beam ball Raio had flung at the woman disappeared on contact with her. Rather, as she reached out, it seemed to disappear. Was it magic, or had she simply blocked the attack? He quickly made a mental note of the occurrence as he tucked away behind the tree, though he was unable to piece together the theory that she had merely absorbed it. I better keep an eye out for her fists. The way she took the attack struck me as if it had no effect on her. I think I can trust the Mark II's reading after seeing that. Raiosu was surprised that she hadn't been hurt, he was among the strongest people around and he knew it. Or at least, he definitely knew that he was stronger than most people, as well as most of the Saiyans he had met thus far. He felt truly afraid deep in his heart, but he was not going to flee. His trepidation was of a helpful kind. Then, Aria appeared in front of him, in a burst of speed. “Aria. Nice to meet you. It isn’t fair that I got to know who you were first. I learned your name from Toma, the Saiyan that was with you before.” He turned to see that the girl was already in front of him. He flinched at her superior speed as she caught him off guard. He had begun to thought his theory that she was a ghost might be correct after seeing this.Damn it! Not only could he not sense her Ki, but her speed was on par with his. He was definitely at a disadvantage. He needed to think of something soon. "Your name is Aria? That's an unusual name..." he said, keeping himself composed. Raiosu had almost completely forgotten that he had attempted to ask her name. As his foe's eyes locked onto his, he responded with a pout. He still believed himself to be the fastest, if not strongest person he knew of, with Korhy and Luther being the only people he was second to. He could not stand the idea that there was someone who was even stronger. “Now, it really isn’t fun if you don’t fight back. Back in my days as a Grey Guard, we would fight amongst each other to build bonds. Won’t you build a bond with me?” "Build bonds?" Her foot then came up, going for his shoulder. His eye contact with her had led his eye to the lower portion of her body as she started twisting her torso back. Raio saw the kick coming, analyzing it in less than a few milliseconds. He then remembered that he was backed up against a tree. He then quickly lowered his body, crouching as he tilted sideways to avoid the kick completely. The next sound he heard was the sound of a small explosion, and the tree behind him breaking in half. The cracking sound was so loud it hurt his ears! The whole forest went quiet with that huge sound. "That's one hell of a bond," he simply remarked, the upper half of the tree falling to his right. In his mind he tucked away any feelings that might distract him from the battle, including any feelings of embarrassment, either from humiliation or infatuation. The Saiyan didn't want to lose this early, not due to his emotions. His foe then turned away from him. She then turned around to face him in a flash and let loose a pair of Ki beams aimed at his right leg. As they hit his upper leg, they dug into his flesh, burning a hole through his slacks and going on to give him a pair of wounds that cried crimson-red. Raiosu grunted loudly in pain. I have to think of a way to fight back... there's no excuse for me being beaten this early in the fight. Not even a strength difference! The second pair of beams then came his way as he looked her in the eyes once more, which had changed color. Raiosu noticed this and shifted his body to the left, kicking off the ground as he did. As he dropped into a tumble, he heard the beam discharge and stopped on the ground. He looked around, and saw that the beams had caused a large explosion visible throughout the forest. He saw the remains of trees and brush that had been destroyed in the blast. He looked on at the scene wide-eyed. No matter how much you love nature, power is still power! "If it weren't for Kami-Sama, I wouldn't have been able to dodge that attack. This fight would be over already." Raiosu then stood up, clenching his fists. He turned to face Aria, glaring at her in the face. This feeling of loss, that he had been surpassed, awakened his latent energy, jut like he was taught, and allowed him to transform. His hair then began to flap around as if in a breeze. The energy around Raiosu became visible, then it turned yellow. Then, his hair stood on end, being blown upwards by the surge of golden energy coming from below him. It then appeared green in color, from the golden light refracting off of his blue hair. He had been humiliated to the point of transforming. His eyes then turned white, looking almost as if Raio was possessed. He looked Aria in the eyes, despite not having any color to his own, and twisted his body to his left, putting his left foot behind him and leaning back on it. He then pulled his left fist back, and threw it forward towards Aria as he stepped in, a burst of air flying at her from the force imparted by his punch. He then brought his fist back into his guard. "Let's build a bond that doesn't know any boundaries, then." He said, trying to keep his tone high. In this form, it was a chore to hold onto one's sanity.

Slivers of wood exploded and joined the fog in its party in the air. Drizzling down around them were small chunks of bark and wood, ending the life of the tree which stood there. Her sneer increased in size as she observed his eyes. He was no longer looking at her eyes. Maybe for a second he was absorbing himself into the beauty of her cobalt jewels, maybe not. All in all, he was sharp and she could see his sight set on to her torso’s movement. He was a sharp warrior. Her head turned toward him, her leg falling to the ground. Those azure splendors that were her eyes faded into cerise and the Eye beam sliced into his skin. She frowned a little as the beams hit; she expected better. She wanted him to use that graceful nature of his. Why was he being so timid? Her next attack was dodged; good. The explosion nearly surprised her. She was not use to the power she possessed. Now the fog had more party goers to dance with as vegetation and more shaves of wood boogey in the hard pressed air. She stood up, taking a straight stance. Her arms lie straight to her sides and just hung there for the moment. The wood shavings and vegetation slightly began to rest on the ground, tired of the dancing. “I have more faith in your abilities. Even more than you probably do. You dodged that with your own instincts. You are proving your worth to me, Raiosu.” And just like that she felt the pressure of his power. The sudden burst made her raise her hands to cover her eyes as the tired vegetation and lumber sprung back to life at the command of his power. She had seen this once from her fearless leader, Bardock. It was this power once again. She grunted and her feet, which could not grab hold to the muddy ground, slid. “Impressive! It is about time you have gotten serious!” She dug her foot into the soft ground and stopped herself from sliding backwards and as all of the pressure had stopped pushing her she dropped her arms. Bam! She was hit and sent backwards into the tree half behind her. Her thighs caught the sharpened edges and she flipped over it with trickles of red blood-like oil sliding down her leg. She heard what he said and she couldn’t help but continue her smiling nature from before. “I’d love that.” She hopped to the side, getting the stationary tree out of her way. She quickly popped her body up into a levitation only a few inches from the ground and she moved toward him head first. Her arms curled, fist clenched and tension rising between the crevices of her muscles. She thrust her hands forward and unwrapped her closed fist into open palms, back to back, and fired three very fast and weak beams of energy. Upon getting closer to him her body curled and she spun with a mighty force and threw her energy filled thigh at his head for an explosive kick. WC: 520

"Faith? In my abilities? wouldn't it be more cautious to have faith in your own? This is the first time I've seen such ordinary attacks thrown with such power..." Raiosu had finally done it, He had transformed. This trick, that threatened his own ability to control his mind, was granting him the power inherent of the Super Saiyan, yet only a trickle of it. He had so much more to accomplish than this. His own energy shock-wave had knocked the girl flying back. "If that's impressive, you've seen nothing yet." Raiosu raised his fists into the air. He was gathering energy for his next attack. As his foe spoke with a smirk, he merely smiled back, nodding at the girl. Then the three beams came his way. Raiosu couldn't even move before they all hit him again. They were weaker than before, but nonetheless strong. One of them flew into his leg, the other hit him in the arm, and the last dug into his chest. He bled, feeling the wet, heavy blood drip down on all parts of his body, but he didn't let that get to him. He simply let out some low grunts. These were weak attacks, and he couldn't let himself be bested yet. He then let the girl get close and dropped to his knee, as her kick then flew over his head, discharging with a loud bang, like a gunshot. "Now!" Raiosu rose up, his left fist flying upwards towards the girl's chin! He flew out of his crouch and into the air, as his uppercut finished with a snap, a sure sign that this was a good punch. Raiosu had, after all the fuss, finally found an opening his opponent's defenses'. Thank god for the cutesy-oafish act. Raiosu then followed up from in the air, speeding downwards from a few inches above Aria and swung a devastating right hook, followed by a spinning roundhouse kick, all without leaving the air. Raiosu then put his hand to his waist and grabbed the scabbard, quickly pulling out his Rapier and swinging his sword for Aria's lower torso, all in one fluid motion. He then swiped twice-more, forming a cross-shape with his swings. Pressing the advantage, he smashed his handle-guard forward into the girl's stomach with a punch, pushing his body forward as he stepped into his attacks. He then hesitated slightly, and twisted his sword so that the tip pointed downwards, and sheathed it, as he landed and spun into a low-kick for Aria's legs, and pulling his leg back. He then cupped his right hand and brought it forward, into a palm-strike aimed for Aria's chin. He let out a low hum as he pulled his hand back into his guard. His glowing face grew struck with concern. Am I going too far? I'm not trying to kill her... there's no reason, she's not a monster like Cell was. What if the damage I inflicted is permanent? Also, it's the first time testing out this form in a real battle... I don't want to make any unfortunate mistakes. He could do less damage with a punch than a kick. He knew this much. He pulled his hand back and threw a wild right hook for his foe's face, glowing with the golden-yellow aura that surrounded him, yet even more-so than before.

Alright so RP Award narrowly goes to Raiosu. It's close though, Aria, so I wanna see you givin' it somethin' like 110%. Or at least 109.25%. Speaking of percents, I was asked for a damage report, so here we go. Based on everything that's connected, factoring in all kinds of math, I've landed at these numbers. Raiosu has taken roughly 10.2% damage, putting him at 89.8%. Aria has taken 7.2% damage, putting her at 92.8%. As far as displaying damage, my favorite way has always been Rubic's, wherein you take your base vitality, multiply it times your remaining vit percentage (the bigger number) then redo your trans bonus. Voilà. Ya hurt. Proceed. |

Birds were frightened. There had never been a moment where so much noise had been made in this area. It was only minutes before this. Assemblages of seconds later a lone beaver still peeked his head out from the messy waters of the marshlands. His home had become a battlefield. Black beady pupils watched through stressed whiskers as lumber was murdered and his own home caught up in the violence. The creature witnessed as black energy spiraled around the thigh of a young woman. Her aim was set on a young man’s head, but that dart missed its bull’s-eye. The young man was quick! The beaver’s eyes caught a glow of amusement, forgetting that its home was dismantled by these people. An uppercut soar into the skies and brought a chilling sense of hardened resolve with it. The woman, whose leg tore through an explosion of smoke, increased the hustle of her spin and her eyes, hooting a crimson color, locked onto the incoming fist. Her fingers arced and spread as she locked it perfectly with his fist and gripped it. His force pushed her upward along with him for a moment before she twirled once again and allowed him to break passed her. Bother were airborne. They flew so easily. The mammal of large buck teeth could never imagine how it was to feel the wind that well; they were not as acquainted unless he was falling to his friendlier and dirty friend, the ground. Even then, the ground would backstab him with pain. That was nothing like the wind which helped those two warriors sore in the sky. The beaver was intrigued. He scattered to get a closer look and as his stubby little legs came to a halt, he saw the young saiyan bringing his fist down to strike the top-twirling beauty. She stopped her twirl at his fist’s command and again those soft palms caught those hard knuckles with reeds of difficulty, making her muscle hardened at his outstanding pressure. Pressures of oxygen ruffled the soft fur of the beaver and his eyes lowered as they began to quickly dry. Scurrying back some, he was under the impression that maybe he was just a tad bit too close to the action. Raiosu’s leg rolled around, slicing through the density of wind and met Aria’s arm standing strong. It all seemed like blocks to the beaver and the animal was amazed at how quick she reacted to his attacks. But reality was harsher. Those attacks all hit home. She did not make a complete effort to her blocks; it was all just placing limbs in situations. Her mind took over the story swiftly. It was not about trying to dodge every single attack, or about willfully taking damage and placing wishes upon stars that it was not hard. It was how well you could take it. She caught the shining glint of beautiful steel coming from Raiosu’s side. That was worrisome and she showed it in her facial features as her jaw lost its tension and hung open. Thin and dangerous metal sliced upward. Her body adjusted as she forced her open palm against the shoulder opposite of his slicing motion. Only a thin slice caught her and it was her arm which came to her aid one again. Her widened mouth smashed down, pearls of white teeth colliding. Her eyes looked up and watched his wrist and his fingers adjust fluently. This young man knew how to handle his weapon. Her body was leading away from him, but this did not stop those wicked slices from sketching a pattern into her other arm. It was a clean and perfect letter ‘X’. Joining her calf muscles, her arms began to leak a small trail of red oil down to add to the rich and wet earth. Damage exceeding 7.2%. The numbers were beginning to rise. His blade twisted and she was hit by the handle-guard in her stomach, making her body lean forward. He dropped low, just about as low as they were getting to the ground, and he sent a strike to her calf muscle. His organic muscles clashed with her soft metallic frame and in reaction she slightly hopped. She took his kick at the base of her calf muscles and went into a side flipping motion and she guarded her chin. What a rush. Her fingers spread and broke from the guarded stance and she supported her body with them as if they were her legs. Her leg, catching a black fire, swung to meet his golden fist of fury in a collision between two explosive techniques. Her arms bend and she sprung up into the air and performed a very light front flip to keep the distance between them very minimal. She rose her right hand, which took on a purple cloudy glow, and the beaver which watched them so gallantly was pulled over toward Raiosu’s back with his teeth first. The two giant white pillars gave threat to pierce the monkey boy’s back. The purple glow remained shrouding her right hand and its florid color had infected her left. Her fists swung toward each side of his ribcage in an attempt to knock the air right out of him and damage him internally.

Raiosu's attacks had almost all hit home, and he seemed to be leaving a few marks on the android, a sign that his attacks were having effect. This was something he had hoped for since the beginning of the fight, yet dreaded. He couldn't shake the feeling of terror, that hhe ight accidentally cut down his enemy prematurely... permanently. But she was not letting up. His fist collided with her leg, and their auras met as well, her dark aura and his golden aura mixing and a spark taking place. He could not push much further, so instead, he pulled his fist back, and retreated, jumping backwards as her foot came down and feeling the air move as it flew. Then, an unwelcome spectator joined the battle. Raiosu looked at Aria quizzically. then she had thrown the little beaver at him. Raio grabbed the incoming creature, snatching it out of the air and flinging it to the side. He then locked eyes with his foe and hunched over slightly. He saw her close the distance and then watched the girl partially come in as she attempted to strike him. Raiosu thrust his left arm out as his foe's right came and pushed hard against the inside of his opponent's arm, doing the same thing with his other as his foe's attack's came in. As a result, the punches didn't fly through, but merely ended their flight towards him prematurely, curving inwards. Raiosu then stepped back and flipped, landing on his feet and distancing himself from her. He then brought his arms up to his chest and cupped them, causing a strange juxtaposition of healing energy's. Instead of leaving for someone else, his healing energy flowed through his arms and into his own body. His cuts and such magically disappeared. He then looked back at his enemy. "That wasn't nice! Don't you care that animal could've been hurt? I daresay that was cowardly, putting that defenseless animal in between us!" Raiosu raised his arms, getting ready for round two.

She sneered as he grabbed the creature out of the air and scolded her. Her face was playfully twisted into a pout as she bent her knees and poked her lip out. ”I’m sowwy, please don’t scold me anymore.” She held her hand out and grabbed the creature with her psychic energy and gave him a calm drop to the earth. The beaver quickly scurried away from the battle field and Aria stood up. Her eyes marveled on the way he seemed to glow with energy. ”It was just a mere warning shot. Don’t get too close to the battle field, ne?” She giggled and slid her foot across the muddy floor. Rushes of water filled the dented mush. ”I promise not to use anymore live objects as projectiles from this point on!” Her foot sank into the mud and she catapulted toward him as he was finishing up his healing process. She was courteous enough to allow the healing to end. His arms raised; so he was preparing for her. She stopped a few inches short of reaching him and she jumped quickly into the air, slicing through the thick fog. Her attention remained on him and her hands were outstretched and facing him. Energy hummed as it built up in the center of her palms and the fog began to fan away in a swirl to reveal the path that each beam were going to take toward the young Saiyan. The first shot took aim at his shoulder, wanting to put him into a spin. She pulled the hand back which had fired and nimbly fell down toward him to get closer with another beam rocketing out of her hand and aimed toward his leg with the intention of making his spin a bit more awkward. Upon landing back on the ground, mud splashing about the place, she let out a huff of air in the form of half a laugh as her feet sprung up in a hover just centimeters away from the earth. ”You seem worried that your attacks will kill me. I assure you that, being an android, I can take much more punishment than the average person.” She was close to him now. Her breath could probably be felt like a hot sauna against his skin as her body nearly attempted to touch his. Close combat was something she was pretty good at and she was not afraid to mix energy attacks with it. Her palm shot up toward his chin but stopped as she fired another speedy beam toward his chin and with a twirl of her body she placed her back toward him and reached her hand over her shoulder to release yet another beam.”Don’t get overwhelmed by my little attacks, Raiosu dear.” She spun around and prepared for his retaliation with her guard open wide. ((OOC: Its been like over 48hrs. I'm using the 24hr rule.)) Her attacks were crucial and with her opponent spinning haphazardly. She attempted to interlock her fingers with his and press against the back of his hand. Her intention? To pull him closer to her, ripping through the foggy preset. Waiting would be her hand glowing with more energy. She would unlock her hands from him, if her chance would have been granted a success, and her body hunched over with energy building in the palm of those unlocking hands. If she needed to, she could have moved; taking a step or two into Raiosu’s area of direct comfort and, with a swung of one arm, she sends a blast of energy rocketing toward his toughened chest. Her other hand would mimic. A slight swat and another energy blast which came naturally at of her palms and beset the air with each second of its path. Her shoulder lie in its path almost helplessly if his sharp and beautiful pupil less eyes did not catch on to the flare’s sneaky nature. Again, her other arm waved but in opposition of its previous path, getting itself ready to launch another blast. Her stance loosened up and she sprung at him like an agile kitten. Both of her hands widened and like an ice cream scooper, the air she gathered set ablaze with energy bit by bit. She poked her chest out, bringing those hands back and then she swung them both forward and sent a duo of energy at the saiyan warrior, taking precedence toward his neck area. Her left foot landed first, and almost instantly she curled her right knee to keep a one legged stance. Flexibility was something built into her design. It was not sought after with years of experience, or born in such a way; it was purely engineered. She easily lifted her foot to point to the heavens and a blast of energy whizzed out from the tip of her toe and was sent speeding toward Raiosu’s facial area; preferably the point between his upper lip and teeth; she was being just that precise. The right leg swiveled to the side, the balance she possessed was inhuman. She looked like a ballerina as she held her hand outward toward him, all fingers spread. Her left hand extended to the side to provide the counterbalance of her extended leg. What a marvelous stance. A flash of energy pumped from her palm and took a straight path to his neck once again. It was not long before her stance took a metamorphosis. She rose her leg to the side and, with the arm on the same lateral as that leg, she held onto it. Her thigh muscles thickened and bulged as she placed tension against the arm. She twisted so that her leg faced Raiosu and she freed the leg from her arm’s grasp so that it smashed to the ground hard, planting the limb into the mushy ground and creating a small shockwave of pressure. The momentum carried with the swing of her leg aided her speedy flip which made her disappear; making sure that her opponent was mesmerized by her exotic leg lift. She fired a strengthened, yet quick beam of energy at the top of her springing body, biting at his neck with the small beam of condensed energy. “Organic flesh. How long will it last against this relentless attack? Raiosu, show me this unbreakable bond! I want to see it! ” Her body ducked low and one of her hands grabbed onto the Earth and she created a linear pattern in the mud as she slid by him, thwacking another beam at him on her way past the right side of his body, taking aim once again at his neck area. Base PL: 70,796 Aimee burst through the dense shroud of war---the fog of the swamp---that pervaded the whole landscape of the swamp. She was mere feet from the android, named Aria, who was in a bout with the saiyan Raiosu. Her pink hair hovered, trailing behind her, in the air as she appeared to glide airborne to the female android. With just only a few feet to spare between the two of them, Aimee's hair instantly became blue as she unsuppressed and released her cocked arm into a punch that she thrusted out at her foe. The girl aimed it for the android's body, and suspecting she might try to dodge it, she was concerned with the after effects more than the damage itself. A bright flash went out from her knuckles, shining as as bright as the sun, for Aria. This new technique was called The Flash Step. It was a custom technique that Aimee had devised based on the Blast Punch that she had already knew. It was her take on the move, custom made for her own style. And that style was to blind people and put them on the defensive. A heroic effort to protect her ally from further harm while keeping her opponent from being harmed and affected in such a way that they wouldn't be able to attack---at least she hoped. She had never tested it before. And she fully intended that her move blind the humanoid. She hoped it would succeed. Aimee landed with in the muddy landscape that was the swamp. Her feet heaped splashed mud and liquid away as she stepped on to the ground and firmly planted herself against the ground. Her form then exploded in a show of light. Cosmic energies of red, blue, and purple engulfed her body as her hidden power was shown. The power of the Matsuyama Clan. "Raiosu, I sensed your ki signature here. Here I am. I'll heal you in a moment of your infirmities. Please allow me to search your mind so that I can know the situation between you and your opponent," Aimee said, telepathically to her ally. "I don't know what is going on with you and my ally. But I'm taking defensive measures here. I don't wish to harm you. As you can see, I used blinding techniques on you to put you on the defensive in order to give you guys some space in order to understand what is going on. So, who are you and why are you fighting my ally." Aimee paused for a moment to hear what her opponent had to say. Then she continued: [colo=grey]"Look, have you not heard what happened in West City? GNN had a news report about some people fighting against a trio of people. I was one of those individuals. If you are looking to do harm to people or kill my ally, I will put a stop to this. If not, then please state your reasons why you guys are fighting. If this is a friendly contest, then forgive me for being so rude and interrupting, though I would love to have a friendly bout as well and let my ally have a bit of a rest. My name is Aimee Matsuyama, and I am Raiosu's friend and ally. Hero Of West City. Forgive my paranoia, but I just can't let people like those three from that GNN battle run amock and cause destruction to people I love. I hope you are not like one of those malicious individuals." Bardock, the scarred warrior, stood within a marshland, the soft, muddy ground giving way slightly under his weight and issuing a none too pleasant smell to greet his nostrils. This was the battle ground his android companion, Aria, had chosen. A light fog pervaded the area which was lightly wooded with trees native to the mangroves of this wretched planet. Bardock truly detested this world, in its current state anyway. It would make a fine training ground for the empire once it was wiped free of the infestation of humans it currently suffered from. One day soon, that glorious order would come down and the veteran would delight in exterminating the vermin and crushing any resistance the Protectorate saw fit to provide for this inconsequential place. He might even set himself up here to retire and pass on his knowledge to the next generation of Saiyans. The scenery would be nice enough after the cleansation, he supposed. But that was neither here nor there right now. He was here for a reason and that was to make sure Aria remained undisturbed during her friendly bout with what appeared to be a pathetic excuse for a saiyan. Normally, he would be rooting for his kindred, but he had a special bond with the android that held tighter than his allegiance to a saiyan that barely had claim to such an illustrious title. And the little, human loving rat could transform? What an embarrassment! But Bardock held to his word and stood waited, even after such an insult. Aria was well enough equipped to handle the rat anyway and if she couldn’t…… then she was no worthy ally of his anyway and Bardock would have destroyed this Raiosu character on principal anyway. The battle raged and Bardock waited. Chaffing at every second that went by as his blood burned, urging him to destroy, to tear, to rend, to peel the very flesh from his enemies bones! It was maddening until finally, it happened. A pink haired girl, looking human but unusually carrying similar power to the rat, appeared out of the fog. She immediately attacked the android and clearly stated herself to be an ally of Raiosu. “Yes!” the veteran roared as his onyx orbs drained of all colour, “YES!” muscles bulged as snake like veins slithered along the rock hard fibres, “YES!” his pitch hair stood on end, taking on a crimson tinge, as his golden aura tore into life, jolting violently as if it was attacking the very atmosphere surrounding the seasoned old soldier. Finally an interloper had arrived! Finally he could follow his instincts and still retain his standing with the android. Finally, they were all going to DIE! A grin of pure menacing delight spread on his rugged features at thoughts of bloodshed to come! A hollow, grating sound echoed through the mist as his trusty Zweihander slide free of its sheath. He had become very comfortable with the blades weight and balance and it had tasted the flesh of many a foe. Such would be the case this day. Holding the six foot long weapon easily in his master hand, his aura flaring high enough to encompasses even the blades impressive length, he launched his muscular frame into the air and straight towards the intruder. “You really should have just stayed away,” Bardock’s deep, rumbling tones informed the girl calmly, seeming more a statement then a suggestion by the easy surety it carried. As the last syllable left his lips, the blade slashed from high, aimed to cave a line in her flesh from left shoulder to right hip. As the stroke ended, he reverse the momentum, his free hand coming to the hilt to assist in thrusting it forward in an effort to pierce the girls thigh and hopeful restrict her movement with the wound. Recovering from the thrust, the veteran brought the weapon up and around, still with both hands on the hilt, to strike down viciously to the interloper’s collarbone. “It’s only going to get worse from here girl, I suggest you flee before I bleed you dry,” the old soldier suggested. [Sorry, a lot of shit has been happening lately. I don't want Amy to suffer the 24 hr rule on my behalf.] Raiosu felt the scathing beams fly his way, burning holes in his flesh as they came. But he remained resilient, and focused his Ki on keeping his skin strong enough to keep these attacks from piercing him. Then, a bunch of ki blasts flew at him like ab Uzi. He raised his arms and took the incoming blasts, coming out with blood trickling down his arms. He next saw a particularly larger Ki blast fly at him and let it come, waiting for it to reach him. The last beam came and he caught it with an open palm. The energy from the beam swirled in his palm until it then dissipated momentarily. I must have zoned out. Time for a wake up call. Raio was set aflame and flew over to Aria, holding his hand up, aiming it towards her. His look was then filled with a fiery look that presented no fear to his foe. He gave no verbal warning; But, then suddenly... Aria was surrounded by Raiosu, literally a perfect image of the young Bishounen as he raised his palm out towards her, fire and all. Raiosu let out a piercing scream. "Ha!" His aura turned Violet as it rose up to the sky like a flame. his palm shimmered slightly with golden chi. Suddenly, what appeared to be just a ball of energy flew ought from all four duplicates, and the attack came full power flying into the android. It even expanded in size quickly as it went. Rai's face kept a look of calmness as blood dripped from the same hand that had fired the blast, the blazing inferno surrounding him. He huffed and puffed after he let the attack fly. I need to keep my head. And I need to watch out for the Saiyan over there. I don't need to fight two people. Raiosu stole a glance at the Saiyan, which was more akin to a glare and then turned back to Aria. "We might not get to finish our little play-date the way this is going. I'm sorry." He looked ashamed. He then turned to Amy. "We're having a nice little battle. No need to split hairs over this. ...Right?" Raiosu gave Amy his best puppy-dog face.

Winds of change. She had always known he was there waiting and watching her. Why else would she have been so aggressive? Her mental state was manipulated easily by the relentlessness that was known as Bardock, her fearless leader. Each peck of red light within her blue pupils signified the unease of the expert warrior. She could tell, with each sporadic shift of his power, he wanted something to happen. They spent time together molding a strange bond on Kanassa. It was less than a month, but she had come to understand him. He was a true and loyal Saiyan of the Saiyan Empire. She had no doubt he had his mind set on expansion of that small empire. He was against the Protectorate, a system she grew up in her entire life. Why would she follow this man? Perrin chose to leave and she never did gather the reasoning behind his departure, but something held her back from jumping ship as well. In the midst of her thoughts, her scouter caught an extra blimp of power coming her way in a hustle. Her mind scaled to possibilities as she danced around Raiosu’s sluggish body, trying not to give him naught a moment’s rest. Aria could see a silhouette tearing through the fog and coming toward her. Just from the outline of black, which slowly gathered coloring and definition as the fog parted away and began to run from the figure itself, a punch was coming toward her. Aria took another notice toward the masking flash of light, nuzzled by the fog’s thickness, slowly blue shaves of hair gradient to blue and the power she once felt had increased. With a quick turn of her body to face this new foe, she held her hand out and caught the fist. Her fingers clenched to the fist, which took on properties of a sun; so beautiful. That was one thing the swamp was missing; a proper light source. Much like a disco ball, Aria could see the fog condense the light, which was now captured in her hands, and shoot beams of it throughout cracks in the fog’s shape and density. A shockwave of power rocketed out as the punch forced the synthetic to slide backwards. The mud jumped away from her foots path for dear life as she moved a few feet. Aria’s neck gave way to her head’s weight and she looked down with the fist gripped into her palm. Did the light get to her eyes? Short black slivers of hair fell down and provided a comfortable mask of her facial features. ”Heh, you made a grave mistake. This was just a friendly bout, but I don’t think ‘he’ will let this stand. Maybe this will work out a little better. I am sure his blood boils with the heat of prolonged feelings. Prolonged feelings to unleash hell upon this very battlefield.” As she spoke the young heroine could feel it. The energy which she poured into her fist was sapped right out of her and gobbled up by the red jewels set within the palms of the android beauty; jewels were always a girl’s best friend, and thus they found ways to stab other girls when they interfered with their business. Aria did more than just hear what happened in West City. She dared to call herself a hero? How contradicting. ”Hero?” This brought her back to those previous thoughts from before. Bardock, putting it bluntly, was not a man that was about heroics. It was a fresh ideal that Bardock unknowingly brought to Aria, who at one point felt the dire need to protect everything about this universe. Her thoughts of heroism were warped with the stories and interactions she has had with the veteran. Pride and honor proceeded the acts of heroism by more than miles of greater thans. The Protectorate was only concealing the one act which was deemed unworthy by the upper class; ambition. Bardock was filled with it. His constant thought of expanding his power and the empire he swore allegiance to was overwhelming and hypnotizing. ”And so, hero, would you dare trample on a Saiyan’s pride by jumping to his aid in a one on one battle?” Aria, with her grip strong on Aimee’s fist, swiped the balled hand away and she spun away from the human girl and at peak of her opposition, her back facing Aimee the valiant savior arrived. Shame on me. His form would mask her completely from Aimee, begging her to place her attention on her new foe now. Aria jeered and played off the synchronization being created with his entrance. Starting as a small hexagon, a blue shield pieced itself together to cover a wide area around her, just missing Bardock and Aimee. Piece by piece, each hexagon molded into a beautiful barrier. She had sensed with her mechanical sanities that Raiosu was back. She licked her lips, and a subtle moan escaped her lips at the increase of power. Another juicy morsel was fattening themselves up for her red jewels to feast upon and any given moment. A mass of energy rocketed toward her and shredded through her barrier and smashed into her just as she placed her arms up into a cross to protect her vital faults. The coat which she wore was ruined completely now. Tattered strings of fabric melted to the floor and left her to display her primary clothing set. It was a murky dress which cut itself off at the middle of her thigh. The trench coat stole away the impression of what she could have been wearing and drowned at the fact that she had on fine fish net stockings with a flowered design etched into the material. “Bardock, it will be my first time fighting alongside my fearless leader. Please, take care of me,” she teased as she unraveled her arms and carved her fingers into a clawed stance as she felt the presence of higher authority meagre feet away. With him officially on the battle field she could no longer hold back. This play date had just turned into a real battle and she was not going to bring shame to this Elite warrior. Her foot destroyed the grounds form as she stomped into it and began her journey across the muddy shallow. She hopped into the air, just a few inches, and her arm extended out toward Raiosu. A small portal ripped itself open just millimeters above her skin and dark needles of energy rocketed toward Raiosu’s shoulder, grouping and readying themselves to explode against him and send him into another spiral. She was hoping to put him back in a state of daze like he was earlier. She landed, in her small flight, a few inches near the opposite side she targeted with her Negative Arrows, a technique she bravely copied from the Paladin Rei. Her hair instantly lifted into the air, showing off the beaut forehead of hers. Seismic activity erupted onto the scene and Aria’s scream rolled out of her throat, forcing its way through a rocky impasse. She would hope Raiosu, being so close to her, would find this a good opportunity to get away from her. It was time to get serious. WC: 1,212

Aimee strafed to her right side as she evaded the sword meant for her collar bone. Her eyes followed the motion of the blade as it cut through the air a few feet beside her shoulder as she moved away. After side stepping to her right, she then strafed to her left and shot past Bardock's rear before twirling around ninety degrees to face both her foes. Raiosu was also in her field-of-vision. "I can't just stay away. Not after what happened to my city. Not after what Raiosu and I went through on Greyfa. Surely he understand why I acted the way I did," Aimee replied, looking serious, as she exchanged glances with both Bardock and Raiosu. The girl took a deep breath and sighed. "I apologize. I didn't know this was a friendly bout. I thought my friend was in trouble. You said "maybe this will work out better." I have an idea. How about we have a friendly team match to test each other out. It would be good training practice, then maybe after we can all enjoy a meal together and have a nice dinner somewhere. And relax. Let's see if you both can keep up with Raiosu and I. Losing team has to buy dinner at the winner's restaurant of choice." Aimee lit up like a match that had just been lit. The cosmic silhouette form that she had transformed into suddenly exploded into an aura. She was no longer a silhouette; Instead, the colours from her transformed self were radiating around her body as if she was powering up. Only she wasn't. The cosmic light blended with her blue hair, creating a brilliant and beautiful pallet of colours. The light danced on her tanned skin. She snapped her fingers and her martial arts gi was swallowed up whole by a saiyan armour that materialized. It covered her entire torso and neck. Her arms were exposed, showing off tones wrists, biceps and upper arms. White gloves covered her hands. Her legs also became protected by the saiyan armour and her shoes materialized into boots that saiyans often wore. Her battle attire was completed. "Friendly bout, eh. I'm eager to see how you compare to the last opponent's I faced. Judging by his power, I would say that one of them was at least four times his power." With that being said, Aimee jettisoned for the Saiyan Berserker. She extended both her palms out and strafed him with the energy dan technique. Her hands emitted blasts of ki that peppered the poor brute like machine-gun-like as she flew in his direction and moved past him while flying low. She then ascended and made a sharp angled turn that put Aria into her line of sight. The Transformed Human aimed her palms at the android and strafed her with machine-gun ki blast fire as she flew in her direction. Turning her sights back upon Bardock, she extended her palms out for the saiyan and summoned forth a combination of dirt, rocks, trees, stumps from the ground and formed it into a condensed ball of matter. She then hurled it at her saiyan foe and began to unleash a second round of ki blast strafing at the warrior. After flying past him, Aimee rose into the air, made a sharp angled turn once more and set her sights back on Aria. She then fired off a barrage of ki blasts to complete her series of attacks and made a quick descent to the ground. Her feet landed in the muddy terrain with a splash as her feet pressed into the mud. She then dropped into a wolf stance as she prepared for her next round of attacks. "Raiosu, I hope you don't mind that I came to your defence. I've been through a lot and wouldn't want to see you get killed. Forgive me," The girl spoke to her ally, telepathically.

The old soldier was not surprised as the interloper evaded his opening strike. If she hadn’t been able to at least achieve that feat, this would have been one short, boring battle. Though he was eager to inflict pain, glorious, excruciating pain, it was always more fun when your enemy struggled. When they thought they had a chance. He would see the hope drain from their eyes in good time. His blank orbs followed the girl’s movements easily, veins bulging on his forehead as his aura continued to burn, a fire to match the hatred burning deep within the veteran’s heart. She offered a solution, a friendly team match. It even appeared she thought there was a choice to make. Oh, they would clash, but there would be no happy endings. No friendly exchange, no laughing and slapping backs. Only the cold embrace of the grave. Eventually, after a unusually long delay, her monologue ended with a spectacular change of clothing and a boast about her prior accomplishments. But the old soldier was no fool. Boasting was easy and she had mentioned allies being involved, she had probably never even gotten near the beast of a warrior she claimed to hold her own against. The old soldier didn’t even bother to reply, his smirk said it all. The smirk didn’t last long however. His milky eye’s widened as he was taken by vision. The Human was pummelling him with energy. Relentlessly it bit into his flesh, burning, tearing, searing. He could feel the himself roasting! He came back to reality, the entire vision residing within but a moment, as the girl unleashed the predicted attack. He became a whirlwind of graceful movement, his superior speed and intimate knowledge of the likely location of each orb allowed him to remain unscathed. Settling his sights back on his target as the last of the attack whizzed harmlessly by, he noticed the girl gathering a conglomerate of matter from the surrounds. Clearly she had received training in the ways of the mind, but two could play at that game. He reached out with his own mind, also applying his will power to the ball of whatever had been picked up. He pushed with all of his mental might, attempting to push the object off its trajectory, knowing he only had to divert it just enough to avoid a collision, where as his foe had to keep its form and flight steady. Confident in his defence, his attention turned to her next assault. Once again, six sparkling lights converged on the old soldier. He didn’t bother to attempt to avoid this one, knowing it was only his precognition of the last that allowed such a remarkable feat. This time, he simply raised his massive blade, the hilt covering most of his face, and let it do its work. As the orbs approached, their direction altered slightly, drawing into the weapon where upon contact, they dissolved into nothingness. “Still think this is a good idea,” he asked nonchalantly as he pulled a syringe containing a glowing green liquid from within his armour. Removing the cap, he jammed the needle into his thigh and depressed the plunger. It would take a little while for the effects to kick in, like any drug, but the wait would be well worth it. “Now, where was I? Oh, yes. This is how you overwhelm an opponent,” he stated as he now raised both his palms, facing an opponent each. A low growl emitted from his throat as deep blue ki welled within the slight cup of his hand. Then, he fired, scattering the area around both opponent’s with a plethora of his potent ki. “You may have fought some impressive beings, girl, but you forgot one thing. None of them were me,” he said, his trademark smirk lifted his rugged features, “Give up now. Run, flee, hide under whatever rock you can find and I will relent. ((I can't hold Bardock up on the battle guys. I'm sorry.)) Her hair stopped waving with the fog. She was done maximizing her power and she twisted her neck to meet several rains of fire. Energy was raining down everywhere as the battle field suddenly erupted from the hands of Aimee and Bardock. Strangely enough, even with the human girl’s lack luster attitude, she was aiming to overwhelm Bardock and Aria, and she did a decent job at it. But Bardock made this attempt to overwhelm seem futile with how he braced and took each attack. This was the resilience of a saiyan berserker and it fueled her adrenaline. Her pupils gathered size and her teeth came out from hiding beneath those soft lips of hers. Her eyes focused on the twenty four stars which rain toward her like a meteorite shower. Her scouter highlight each and every one and to give herself more time to process her movements, she flung her body backwards and deeper into the scarcity of trees. Her first order of business came to the tree that was diligently destroyed during the earlier moments of bout between Raiosu and herself. Her arms took hold to the broken base of the tree and she flipped over it, digging her claws into the bark. Her tiny metal muscles, gaining volume, weight, and solidity, lifted the tree and she briskly tore her fingers away, the tree ripping from her grasp. With a single kick, setting a fire with dark flames of energy around her calf muscle, she tore the tree into large pieces of lumber and used that to combat against the first wave of Ki. Timber puffed into smoke, leaving a trail of six explosions behind her. She wasn’t done running yet. Her feet twisted her body back towards a run away from her previous position with eighteen blasts still on her tail. What a tail it was to follow as she zigzagged through the fog. One blast whizzed past her ear as she rotated her to avoid it. Another blast came close to damaging her back, but she was a good girl; she knew how to get low. Her body dropped to the ground, nearly face first if not for her elbow providing a proxy between her and the ground, and the blast whizzed by missing her completely. Her lower half to her body kink and curled as she did a nifty dance against the mud, dirtying her body and avoiding two blast which peck the ground like hungry beaks. Upon ending on her feet with her arms crossed against her chest, she extended the arms and sucked up two blasts. But then twelve blast still remained in hot pursuit. ”And then there were none.” She braced herself slightly as all twelve of them smashed into her body. If her fearless leader could take this much, then why can’t she? Her body dribbled back, creating canyons within the muddy surface with her feet sliding. But was this all they had to offer? If pain was the only attack they could muster up, then they were in trouble. Her eyes twiddled down to a wince almost masking her pupils. Her teeth pressured against each other as energy crackled against her skin starting from the points of her shoulder blade and wrapping down to the center of her palm. ”Attacking us both? I am sorry Raiosu, but your friend seems to be ruining the mood. With my boss around, I can’t slack or he’ll give me a punishment I don’t think I’d want.” Dynamism, or energy, ripped from the center of her palm in the form of black and sharply shaped blasts. Her arms waved quickly and it would seem she shot each one at random, but this was not the case. Each blast carved a certain path for itself; it was twelve of them after all. She did not want to risk hitting Bardock or smash into each other. Four took aim to Aimee’s and Raiosu’s shoulders spiraling to meet each in opposition of their original starting points. Four ripped through fog like paper and aimed, two each, at their chest. It was as if Aria went down the line of their bodies. The final four splashed mud about in their path to reach for their knees. With the help of her trusty utility belt, Aimee jumped, invisibly, high into the air and broke past the dense fog into the skies above. She left behind a phantom image that lingered where she had stood. It was as if she had never left. The dense fog that pervaded the swamp became thicker and more dense as the smoke from Aimee's energy dans and the heat vapour generated by the mixture of hot and cool air blended with the swamp fog. As the ghostly image of Aimee disappeared, it appeared as if she became one with the fog itself. A parting gift to her enemies who wished to harm here. As the girl rose higher into the sky and burst from out of the fog into the clear skies of sun and day, she could see the fog below her light up in a show of flashes, indicating the locations of where the renzoku energy blasts had collided with something within the forest below. Aimee, with not even a trace of her hidden power or cosmic aura around her arms, confidently descended back down through the dense fog to complete her leap and landed gently with a faint splash as she touched down in a puddle of mud. Birds near her fluttered away after being startled by her sudden presence. The cosmic light of her aura flared up again due to no longer being invisible. She had escaped that first attack---an attack she was all too familiar with from her last battle in West City. It was regularly used by the masked man, Nova, against her allies and she. Even being surrounded by trees did not give her the advantage of stealth, apparently. Energy blasts were already moving through the trees in her direction. Some of them collided with trees and uprooted them from where they were planted while others snapped in half as the blasts collided with them. Flashes resulted from each blast collision. Other blasts collided with her body armour and exploded against the surface of the material. She wondered what had given her away. Had it been her aura. Quite possibly. But her police reasoning skills reminded her that her female opponent displayed some impressive tactics so far. The first dead give away was when she sucked the light of her blinding Flash Step technique into her palms. The second was when she absorbed her energy dan. 'Damn girl must be some kind of android,' Aimee whispered to herself out loud as the blasts kept whizzing past her. She did her best to hide behind a tree and hoped for the best in putting her faith in her trusty armour and the use of her surroundings to offer her some natural protection without having to resort to blocking or dodging. Initially there had been four blasts, but several more entered the forest, which had hit Aimee's shoulder with surprising pinpoint accuracy. She grimaced as she fought past the pain from her whole ordeal and ignored it thanks to her strong determination to keep focused on the battle. This was child's play compared to what she endured back in West City, anyway. The girl extended her palm out and used her mind to focus in on all the debris pieces and chunks strewn all over the place thanks to those energy dans. They lifted into the air and hovered. After a brief examination of them---the pieces were sharp, jagged, and some resembled ninjitsu throw stars---she sent them flying through the forward gaps and out into the open where she used her telekinetic powers to give aim at Bardock. Aimee then jumped out of the forward and rose above the forest canopy. This time she extended both her palms out at the forest canopy below and uprooted a river of trees before sending them forth like a powerful tsunami straight for the saiyan. She then used her mind to force some of the tree trunks to take aim like archers raising their bows to the sky and released them into the air to add airborne projectiles into the mix as well. These she directed them like archer men aiming their arrows for a long range shot at an enemy. The tree trunks ascended into the air before descending upon Bardock. Finally, for the grande finale of her Wood Stock Concerted attack, she summoned forth the surrounding trees, branches, debris, and wood splinters that bordered Bardock on all sides and attempted to collapse all the organic material into him and burry him alive. ARIA HAS TAKEN 30.8% (Accounting, of course, for Android redundancies) BARDOCK HAS TAKEN 20.5% RAIOSU HAS TAKEN 51.5% AIMEE HAS TAKEN 20% Aimee your roleplay was more reminiscent of using zanzoken, which kind of bothered me so you took partial damage because your role play didn't quite match what you were trying to do. Moreover I've never seen invisible jumping used in a defensive manner, but I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. Still, combined with taking the Energy Dans, you've taken a fair little bit of damage. Raiosu of course took two advanceds but they were roughly around his current PL. Oh and Aria gets the RP Award. That is the kind of RP I know you're capable of. Let's everyone keep it at 100%! Aaaaaaand BREAK. |

The old soldier breathed heavy as the final blast rocketed from his palm. They were on target and closing fast. Ripping into the saiyan and through the young human, his true target. Yes, he had finished it even quicker then he’d hoped! His eyes had deceived him however; the girl’s afterimage fading moments after the ki had littered it. Damn, he thought, she is a crafty one. Though he had expected no less of someone who was brave enough to jump in the path of Aria. The saiyan rat hadn’t been so lucky; his form remained within the impact zone, taking the full brunt of the assault. Blank orbs immediately began scanning for his main opponent, the human. A gathering of debris alerted the scarred warrior to the girl’s intentions. Hadn’t she already tried tossing random components of scenery at him? His aura burned bright as he moved with all the speed he could muster, his staunch frame, spotted with angry red welts from the peppering he had endured earlier, moving diagonally back and to the left to give him the most room possible to skirt the attack. The girl arched upwards as she gathered yet more rock and wood to do her bidding. Even as she gathered the debris, a thin sheen of emerald ki pieced itself together tight to his tanned skin, forming a second, translucent skin that would protect him from physical objects. The next wave of debris launched and Bardock ducked and weaved, using all of his senses to detect and help him avoid the projectiles. It…. wasn’t possible to avoid them all. His second skin took its share of the pain, but some of it got through, striking the seasoned old warrior’s armour and exposed flesh with equal abandon. Finally, in a grand finally to her display of mental prowess, the entire wetland heaved around Bardock, the ground itself seeming to rise up and crash inwardly in a circle encompassing the veteran. Bracing as best he could, and with his second skin still somewhat effective, the scarred warrior was buried deeply under the rubble. He remained there, unusually calm considering his situation, his breath held to prevent him inhaling a lung full of dirt as he heard the dulled impact of yet or ki exploding over the battlefield above. She’s starting to annoy me, he admitted inwardly, guess that means it’s time to really turn up the heat and see if she can handle it. A low rumble echoed from the very Earth itself as he pushed his power upwards, past anything he had achieved before. The rumble grew until the ground shook at his might! As he reached the pinnacle, the dirt and debris encasing him exploded upwards in a shower of filth interspersed with golden light. The rubble fired into the fog quickly at first, before it came to a pause, now fully under the veteran’s control. Using his own mental abilities, he returned the favour, sending a lose wall of the debris back at the girl. Somewhat shielded from view behind the wall, once again two rich blue orbs quickly developed in the veteran’s meaty hands. His features cracked into his trademark grin, one that said he was eager to see how his foe got out of this one, as this time, the two orbs exploded in size until they were fully half his own height. The orbs still in his hands, he burst into action. Moving fast enough so most would have great trouble following him, he appeared again to fire the two orbs at the human from the opposite direction of his telekinetic blast. He took a moment to breathe as he watched the destructive ki approach the girl with deadly intent. I'm a rebel just for kicks, y'all
|
Raiosu had been caught in the upcoming volley of attacks, being pelted with arrows of Ki as well as orbs of Ki as the explosions from these attacks knocked him backwards, careening towards the opposite end of the forest from Aria. Apparently he wasn't rushing satisfactorily enough.
Was this a challenge? Was this strength? No, this was stereotypical Saiyan arrogance. He had never met the man before, much less seen him, but he had been humiliated enough to no longer care. Raiosu felt the long laughter of the Saiyans who served King Vegeta faithfully. His scar burned at the thought of a first-class Saiyan exploding in his face, followed by the typical, amoral banter of how Saiyans were better than everyone else. So, you're above humans, even though you just got upstaged by a human? Also, a woman!? Typical Saiyan, every boast makes sense, and your self-centered ego is bigger than your Ki signature. He thought, seeking to admonish the assumptions of his foe. It wasn't like Rai had no ego, he just hid it well. Modestly. Raiosu pushed himself off the muddy ground, grunting with every movement, and had open wounds bleeding out onto the forest ground. The mud covered his face quite thoroughly, and a bit of sweat dropped off of his head as he rose to his knees. he looked up to see the enemies being pelted by Ki blasts. According to the Mark II, Aria's Power Level had risen and is still much higher than the new fighter. According to me, He is a loud stereotype. And he blends in with a mob of typical Saiyans every-time he opens that mouth of his. Raiosu coughed, hacking up mud on the ground. Drool fell from his mouth, going in all directions. "Who's the guy who said that there's no cure for stupidity?" he said, in between coughing fits. The saiyans' hand went to his sword and he held it up with his left hand. He looked down, and something green stuck out of the mud. It was a Sensu Bean. must'a fallen from my pocket. ...It'll have to do! Raiosu picked the dirty bean off the ground and put it in his open mouth, biting it in half with one of his canines'. He chewed on it quickly, throwing the other half in and chewing it in half. He swallowed, getting a mouthful of dirt. His first foe had impolitely taunted him and had no qualm with destroying the forest or its' life. She also had no discernible life according to his ability to Sense Ki. That may have gone beyond Ki. "King Vegeta is like Luther's girlfriend. Have you even trained with the great general?" As the Saiyan rose, wheezing, his wounds began to magically disappear. Within a second he was restored to almost full health, and he thanked the spirits he had not died. He felt their presence, and he sensed anger. The forest itself was angry with the battle. Korhy had taught Raio about Shamanism, and he was reveling in the banter between the trees'. The spirits and memories of those who had died here, as well as just passed through, permeated the area like the thick fog overhead, and the animals' had given up their voices, retreating for safety rather than being killed along with the forest. His tail was swaying left to right, a sign he wasn't happy.
"Aimee, I'm fine. You should go. I'll mop up." But, she didn't. The volley of attacks thrown between the two parties had went on like the idle gossip of the forest, concerning itself with how to handle the threat. Raiosu cracked his neck as he stretched it out and looked around. The destroyed brush, the broken trees'... this was a battle between monsters. that was the only way he could describe everyone's strength. He still knew he never intended to kill anyone, nor did Amy. "Still... that rule doesn't apply here." He looked down at his clothes as he spoke. His garment's were tattered, and ruined, his shirt falling off, sticking to him just because of the squishy mud on his skin saturating the garment. Raiosu-Sama turned to the trigger-happy Saiyan, and the trigger-happy human. "You both need discipline..." His pant were ruined, and his body was quite literally naked. He looked over to blast-happy with a reddened face. He spit blood on the ground, holding his sword out. He pulled a capsule out of what he hoped was the uppermost part of his pants and pushed on it with a click. Secksy. He was covered in Saiyan Armour, only his brother Reiji had reinforced this one. He could have sworn he'd heard a voice. An ally appeared, and the Korhy he knew had walked over to him. He kept his distance from the fight, but his amazingly strong Ki Signature didn't lie. Go, Raiosu, The human wizard muttered under his breath, hoping not to get in the way of the fight. "Show them the way of the priest." The tower of flames around Raiosu hissed and rolled over him, dancing and providing light to the small, wet jungle. He sneered at Aria. "You think 'cause you have power, you should throw it all over!? Look around. This isn't about hero's, or a sense of duty to one's Ally... you're afraid of being alone. Right?" Raiosu's cracked scouter beeped, lying in the mud, and clicked as if taking a picture. Throwing debris at Amy was more than enough to anger the brightly glowing, sanity-challenged Saiyan. His Olive-Green hair just stood up as it slightly swayed. Raiosu had just revealed his own internal conflict, throwing it at the saiyan-whipped girl across from him. His glare intensified as it drifted towards Bardock. "Grunts like you are the type of people Luther breaks down into men, Hairball. This scar across my nose is the mark of a dragon's claw." The Saiyan brandished his sword, pointing it forward. He then pulled his sword back, and twisted it behind him. He let out a scream that could have woken up zombie Jesus as he swiftly sliced his tail off. This is where I separate myself from the rest. As his tail was reduced to a stub, the blood spurted out like a fountain before Raiosu knelt and grabbed a hand full of squishy mud. He splattered it on his stub to cover up the bleeding. He then stood up and reappeared in between Aria and Bardock, who were both surrounded by many duplicates of Raiosu. "Call me Versimmon. Son of Tamarindo, Saiyan Noble and peer of King Vegeta." Raiosu's blackened eyes contorted into a glare as a wave of energy emerged from his body at an unusual velocity, engulfing Raiosu and friend and foe alike in the huge explosion that surrounded him, reaching up to even the other Saiyan. And every image of him did the same.

Fast blue sparkles vibrate upon white oceans. Her eyes were quite fast as she analyzed the entire area. Data. Beautiful mountains of data were splattered in forms of numbers and lines. It was as if a child no older than the age of a faltering fly, sending his own life into oblivion early, scribbled onto her optics and left a stain that she could forever view with eyes open or closed. Aria felt it faster than the numerical data could warn her. The wind was changing. The breeze which smothered her hair to the east, and suddenly began to take a western spin; something on the battlefield was changing. Her sharp appreciations made home to Raiosu, and only Raiosu. It was dangerous to focus on only one opponent with another dancing about the stage, but something was changing within him. Levels of exasperation were rising in his features and the mud which he nearly digested, flew about the place in quite the aggressive manner. The synthetic beaut could see his eyes, ironically enough with them gone now with his transformation. Her skin shuttered and bumpy hills scattered about her skin. If there was someone who presented the argument of her being unable to feel humanized fear, they could be no more wrong than this moment. ”Bardock, something is wrong,” Her eye traced Raiosu’s next movement; he found a green bean in the mud. A sensu bean? It must have fallen out of his pocket. If he uses that, he will be presented with an advantage point. It was official. Her scouter was talking to her. There was one tell which Aria picked up on with her mechanics; when it sense an abnormality in calculations, it speaks to her. She ripped through fog, leaving her figure imprinted in the holes of the light smokescreen. Her legs scurried and smashed against the mud as light as she could as she aimed to reunite with Bardock. As muddy and shaking fingers snatched up the bean, she waited. It was difficult to see during her movement. The fog made it no easier. She had to rely on pure instincts and cunning. Her feet had bitten down onto the ground and she slid next to Bardock making her body aware of the recent carnage both he and Aimee had dished out to one another. ”The winds are changing.” She allowed the saiyan space to respond. During this space her memory beleaguered her. ******************** “Do you not feel it, Aria? Perrin could easily pick this feeling apart. Maybe it is because of your design.” Green skin tightly bulged out by toned muscles. It was a Namekian Elder who had gone by the name Yourin. Arms were crossed and he stood over a battered and bruised girl whose hair ran long and pinker than the Earth’s sky during sunrise. She was young and ripe. Her legs were short and her arms seemed even shorter. Slowly with those small limbs she picked herself up and her eyes, marked with azure determination, stared up at Yourin. “How can you be a Blue Guard, much less a Guard of Guru, if you can’t even sense what true malice and danger is? Sense what goes more beyond simple calculations or silly whims. Surely, you do feel emotions right?” Darkened eyes met the twin blue seas of frustration. She bit her lower lip as she sat up to stare at him. Despite the amount of emotion she displayed with her body movements and the contortions on her facial features, her voice came out bland and monotone. “Of course I do. I am angry right now. I do not even understand. Why would you attack me before breakfast? It felt like you were not holding a single muscle back. I am only twelve years old.” Her voice had moments which would give the impression that she could burst into a yell, but she did not do so. Air left Yourin’s jaws in irritation. “Did you think your age would lighten training? Perrin was younger than you were when I did this to him countless times. But he felt intent naturally only twice. What has it been? This is the seventeenth time in the last two months. You must pay attention to the winds change.” That was new to her. Her eyes opened a bit wider and the wind changed. ******************** Western winds were the most dangerous kind and she watched as they absorbed into one point; Raiosu. ”Bardock. Energy is circulating all around him.” Fog twisted almost like an eddy. She could see the whirlwind of dark green. Animals, their instincts tearing through their subconscious, beckoned them to get as far away as possible; that was something far too late for these warriors to do. She turned her head up toward Aimee; she began to worry about her too. Of course, it was foolish to worry about the opposition, but Aimee was still a person. She valiantly jumped to the aid of her partner and this was her reward? Aria’s head made little movements, but her eyes shot daggers at Raiosu from her peripheral views. As if combatting against the fog which bend to Raiosu’s will as he began to charge his technique, Aria faced the Saiyan with her arms locked to the side. ”There are quiet victories and struggles, great sacrifices of self, and noble acts of heroism,” she began to say as she began to place tension into her knees and her feet gripped tightly to the slippery grounds. She aimed her words to her companion which should be behind her, placing her between him and this enraged saiyan warrior. ”in it - even in many of its apparent lightnesses and contradictions - not the less difficult to achieve,” she continued as she saw the form of Raiosu vanish along with the concentrated power. Don’t choke. Don’t choke. You only have one shot. The best place to attack us is… ”because they have no earthly chronicle or audience - done every day in nooks and corners, and in little households, and in men's and women's hearts,” she still bickered on. Whether Bardock understood who or where she was quoting from she still continued. The panic which began to fill her power core was being attacked with anticipation. The amalgamation of the two brought her mechanical knees into a shake. ”a-any one of which might reconcile the sternest man to such a world, and fill him with belief and hope in it. Bardock, jump up. Now. Don’t question it. Just admire the view of my nook. The view of my household. The view of my corner!” Raiosu appeared once again. And then again. And then again. She wanted to scream in dismay and fear; but doing so would have been the doom of both warriors. Instead, she kept a clear mind. She hoped that Bardock would act quicker than her words beckoned and she would jump up after him. ”Keep flying up! The further away from Raiosu, the better! Aimee! Watch it!!” Yes. She even warned her opponent; such a goody two shoes. Aria stopped only a few inches away from where she jumped; unlike how far she wanted the both of them to go, she remained close. Aria’s arms crossed and her body tensed. Power shot from her body in the form of a black impression which looked much like an aurora. ”Oh? Versimmon is it? Son of Tamarindo? Then show me the pride that name carries!” She braced for it. Hopefully Bardock would understand this. She was slightly closer to Raiosu to create a ‘shadow over the sun effect’. A hand which simply covers one’s face, will project a shadow large enough to provide shelter to those eyes. If one could just cover the entire sun, could they not block its rays for more coverage? Raiosu could not be covered without putting her life on the line; but if only just a small hole could be made by blocking this close; then hopefully Bardock could find a way to use that window to avoid damage completely. Aria’s crossed arms pushed against Raiosu’s violently shaped energy. Her body hunched only slightly to create the tension she needed to push against it, but her primary goal was to keep as much of her body outstretched to create an effective ‘hand’ against his ‘sun rays’. Her eyes remained open, but slightly, keeping her focused on simple and ridged movements to keep as much energy in-front of her and at bay. ”A-Amazing. This is the power of conviction?” She could not count the single seconds which passed. Aria could not tell how long he was forcing his energy out, but once he was done she hovered down to the ground with smolder seething from her skin. Her clothing, with the magic of censorship, hung loosely in just the right places and she kept enough clothing on her person; there was no fear for a sneak peak of her unmentionables. ”A-are you trying to unalive us?” It was time now. Despite the pain coursing through her body. Despite the outrageous shakes of her body, she needed to provide pressure to him. ”Energizer Protocol. Stasis Grenade Commence” Her power core began to spin rapidly. It was going to be a slow process, but surely she was going to feel a surge of energy soon. She uncrossed her arms, fabric dripping onto the ground. ”I-I will not take that lightly,” she said as wires snaked themselves out of her fingertips. A small tremor of wind, clearing the already settling fog, burst as she took a step forward. Her teeth clenched in almost pure determination and anger. ”No one endangers the life of my leader!” Her hand whipped out and a hole ripped open in her palms. A grenade shot out and took aim at the saiyan warrior. It was time to nullify him and prevent him from making any further attacks. He needed to be slowed down. It should be easy with him expending so much energy at once. Her arm whipped out and the wires threatened to snag and tangle Raiosu, ten of them forming a neat net which set ablaze with an electrical current.

His power is rising. What is he planning to do? Aimee Matsuyama was certain that her adversary was powering up---or preparing for a powerful attack. She could feel the fear within her urging her to get away. Curiosity kept her idle. She wanted to see what this saiyan was going to do: Power up, or fire an attack. The earth began to rumble and shake. An earthquake had been unleashed on the area. the fog began to swirl around the pile of debris like a series of ghouls haunting a burial site. His power was still rising based on his ki signature. The concentration of ki was become more dense, making the girl feel unsettled at the mere feeling of Bardock's spiritual power. Dirt and debris then exploded upwards in a shower. A golden warrior, radiating golden light, emerged from the exploded rubble. The rubble itself remained frozen in the air as it hovered around the saiyan. Suddenly the debris shot for Aimee and she covered her face with her forearms, not to block the attack, but to keep the crap from getting into her eyes. She closed her eye lids and waited for imminent collision of matter against her body. But something didn't feel right for her, even as the debris collided with her body and knocked her back. She could feel the same power as before---it hadn't dispersed. Aimee concluded that the telekinetic attack was merely a diversion! The girl could sense the same intense ki signature breaking past the debris to a position behind her. She couldn't even open her eyes without squinting as the debris collided with her. Fuck. An attack was coming. She had no choice but to emit a shout and disperse whatever was coming her way. Taking a deep breath, Aimee sounded off a loud shout. Two explosions then shook her body violently, as the double big bang collided against the sound waves generated by her shout. Any debris that remained in the air caught fire due to the heat explosion triggered by the kiai and the big bangs, falling to the ground, below the two warriors, in flames. Aimee on the other hand, was knocked backwards by the force of the two big bangs against her kiai technique. She used her bukujitsu technique to slow her descent to a complete halt, saving her from experiencing a hard collision with the ground. Regardless, The Girl caught sight of her ally suddenly going on the offensive. She could feel his ki signature rising exponentially! It was amazing---his attack, and his power. And she didn't want to stick around in the vicinity of him to find out what he was about to do. Putting two fingers to her head, Aimee vanished to a safe distance from the attack and hovered in the sky looking down at the explosion that resulted from her ally's attack. "Man, that was close. This battle is nuts." She grinned. "Yeah, these guys are a lot stronger than I thought. Time to bring on the crowd control tactics." Aimee opened her hand and formed a blue sparkling ball of ki a few inches above her palm. She then extended her hand out and fired the ball of ki up into the sky. It then expanded once it reached a sufficient height, creating an artificial moon above the swamp. The object instantly casted it's artificial light upon the battlefield. Aimee hoped her little trick would give her a tactical advantage for her next attack. She knew the oozaro transformation was strong; However, it had a disadvantage: Lack of speed and array of techniques. The form could only resort to mouth blasts and physicals. She was betting that Bardock wouldn't be able to escape her next attack, which was high risk on her part. "Normally I wouldn't use this technique, but, I think this artificial moon will set me up for it," The West City resident thought to herself as she set her sights on what she believed was a transforming saiyan. "Now! Time to show you real power---the power of crowd control and police tactics of which the likes you have never seen before!" Aimee began to rapidly fire off multiple blasts at her target but made them easily dodgable on purpose. She intended for her opponent to unsuspectingly dodge each one as they gathered around him in the air. She grinned with the satisfaction of soon being able to pull the rug from out under the saiyan's feet---the satisfaction of humbling a prideful warrior who had threatened her very life, and showing him who was superior. Finally, while guiding them with her hands, Aimee drew all into the blasts into him and waited in anticipation for them to collide with the saiyan's body all at once and explode in a show of powerful force. * * * * 1. The dual orbs struck home, weakened by the girl’s ki imbued shout, but a staunch blow none the less. Then, from the corner of his white irises, he caught sudden and purposeful movement in his direction. It was Aria, his fateful android companion crossing the battlefield at great speed to reunite with the old soldier. “The winds certainly are changing,” he agreed as the massive spike in the saiyan adversary’s ki registered. What was he doing? He was going to kill everyone! Even his unwanted assistant! Had he gone mad? The reasons were unimportant. What was important was that it was happening, right now, and something had to be done. Aria did it. Her body set, determination thick in her words. Her entire demeanour spoke of resolve. She would face down this challenge or die trying. Bardock was not going to let her sacrifice to go in vain. After the grand, and more the likely false proclamation of royal heritage, the saiyan unleashed his attack. A glowing dome of energy spread in every direction as the proud warrior to his front, Aria, steadied herself. She was going to do it! The old soldier moved, using the droid’s determination to his own advantage, tucking up in behind the synthetic and supporting her in her fight through the wall of powerful ki, hoping to slip through the barrier in the dead spot behind the resolute Aria. The assault passed. His royal highness had thrown his best at them, and they had survived. It was not really surprising. Even if his claim, doubtful though it was, proved true, only the weakest of that line would be discarded to such a low level planet as this. Aria then surprised even Bardock with her resilience by almost immediately going back on the offensive. Speaking of which….. The veteran’s colour leeched orbs began scanning the area for signs of their other opponent. There! High above the Earth a bright light caught his eye. His heart skipped a beat before thudding heavily. No, he screamed inwardly as he fumbled for his blade, his muscles already beginning to bulge. He would never win if he allowed this to happen. Unlike most saiyans he had learnt the power of the super saiyan and its superiority to the Oozaru form. This was a cheap trick. An easy card to play from a hand that was dwindling. His facial bones began to extend into a muzzle as his blade finally came free. With a quick slice, his tail, the source of saiyan power, came free. He knew better though. His body shrunk, returning to its regular size for the last time. His awareness free to return outwards, he was confronted by a plethora of ki orbs, swirling around him. The veteran grinned as his golden aura returned. The massive sword still in his right hand began to glow brightly to match. As he predicted, the orbs closed from all sides. He held his weapon aloft, raising it high above his head as the glow increased. The ki orbs veered upwards at the last instance to collide with the blade. After a moment’s hesitation upon the first orb striking, It was take in to the weapon, refuelling his own ki. The remaining lights followed in quick succession, each one invigorating the old soldier, lessening the burden of fatigue weighing on his shoulders. It was time for the tables to turn. A grenade jumped to his fingers before he turned and pitched it, baseball style, full speed for Raiosu. That done, he was on the move, closing the distance to the girl faster than most could comprehend. As he approached, his blade found its home, freeing both of his hands to fill with golden fire. The fire brought forth four golden rounds, each arching on a different route to strike at the girl. On the back of the orbs, the old soldier attempted to close the remaining distance during her defence, his hands forming into a hammer of flesh and bone as her rose slightly above her and struck down for her cranium. Attempting to drive her back down into the mud below.
