The Saiyan Inferno
|
"So...it's time to put your abilities to the test." Ja'vei had pulled the students outside, the early morning sun barely shining through the canopy of leaves above them. It hadn't been a day of training; not consisting of the usual cross-legged meditation session that lasted for hours. Granted, it was not for naught. They had been mastering their abilities to journey into the realm of the astral spirits and project their own spirits among them. It had been quite the interesting journey so far...but they still had a lot to learn. As they arrived this morning, the elderly Kanassan that had first greeted Chishan, Levana and Apio was waiting outside. When they attempted to greet and move past, he stopped them. "Not this morning. We have a little test we'd like you to undertake." "Test? Well that sounds like fun." Apio said, grinning eagerly. "Not you, Apio. Your test will be watching the demonstration carefully without getting involved. You are much too hard-headed and rush into conflict with far too much bravado. I'd like Chishan and Levana to be the participating parties." The master ignored the surprised/angered look upon the long-haired saiyan and moved his sunken-in eyes to the saiyaness and saiyan. "You've been training here with the android for quite some time now. You've both learned a lot, as has he. I think you all would profit with a battle; a test to show how much you've truly gained from our training." The Saiyan Inferno was hesitant at first. He did indeed know the android and also knew how strong he was. Though a peaceful machine, there was no doubt in his mind that it lacked the capability to defend itself and others if threatened. I guess all we can hope for is that our abilities impress him along with the masters, he concluded. He gave the Kanassan a nod. "Sounds good. Where shall this battle be?" "Right here." He said, nodding behind them. When they both turned, they found the synthetic standing across from them. He already looked prepared for them. No point in dilly-dallying then. His mind reached out and took hold of a melon-sized stone off to his right, yanking it from its dirt-filled resting place and cupping it in the air. With an unseen push of energy (one that required a lot of concentration) he sent it spinning towards his newly-crowned opponent. Time for the show.

That morning when the three Saiyans arrived at the temple for their training, their current master, Ja’ve, was already waiting for them outside. Today’s training would be a bit different from other days though, after the Kanassan Master had greeted them, he explained that it would be time for them to undertake a test. Well, at least Levana and Chishan would, Apio get some extra practice in being patience, as he was not allowed to join his two friends. Levana softly smiled; patience was indeed something that the long haired full blood hadn’t exactly mastered yet. The white haired Saiyaness slightly frowned her eyebrows and felt a bit insecure though, when Ja’ve explained exactly what he wanted them to do; fight Android 17. She didn’t know him that well and she still didn’t know his real power level, because she was not able to sense it, but she knew for a fact that he was much stronger than her, maybe even stronger then Chishan. She remained silent and turned her head to look at Chishan; if he felt as uncomfortable as her, it didn’t show, as he was fast to agree with this new challenge. The three warrior took their place on the battle field. Levana watched her friend as he started with his first move. She was impressed to say at least when she saw the stone next to him floating up in the air. Nice, let’s see if I can do that too… While the full blood aimed the rock at the android, Levana flew across the field, so she could throw her own attack from the left side down at their opponent. In the meantime, her mind reached out to two smaller sized rocks and lifted them up in the air. She focused and the rocks crushed into hundreds of small pieces, which she send down on the android as if it were bullets from a machinegun.

When are we eating?
|
The sun had just risen, but Seventeen had been awake for many hours. His method of training as of late had been construction work, as strange as it seemed, but working with the Kanassans had been a top priority otherwise. That morning, one of the masters that had been training him had arrived at the Zarathustra, before the sun had even met the sky. "Android Seventeen." The elder master said softly, startling the Android. For all the sensors and security measures that he and the ship had, there were absolutely no indicators that the elder master had even traveled through their perimeter. How odd, Seventeen mused, and astounding simultaneously. He leapt down from the ship, dust clouding the slowly lightening sky and turned to face the elder master, "How may I be of assistance to you, venerable master?" He examined the aged master and attempted to get a reading of the wise one's intention. "It is how I may be of assistance to you that concerns me this day, Android Seventeen. Your telepathic abilities are… slight. In Androids we are never certain of how they will develop, though our experience has shown us that they are in fact aware of precognizance, but not necessarily the kind that we commonly teach in our culture. In your case, you seem to have developed bursts of rather certain predictability, enabling you to eliminate all but one possibility and then evade that inevitability. Not to mention your specific augmentation of our telekinesis skill which, while very useful, may not quite be useful in a combat scenario. In order to test and perfect your abilities, we're going to put you up against two of our more… practiced warriors. This will not be a sparring match. We want you to treat it seriously." Seventeen considered this for a few moments then nodded, "Of course, I am ever at your service. Who will I be fighting?" Several hours later, he got his answer, staring down his opponents as his current master explained the situation to them. One of whom he was quite familiar with, the Saiyan warrior Chishan. The other he had only met a few times, but her potential seemed as boundless as any Saiyan's, though from what he could ascertain of her genetic structure, she was not a full one. The two of them had been undergoing the same level of training as the Android himself and had roughly reached the same level of technical abilities as he had. However, Seventeen had noticed that their methods of utilizing their training were overwhelmingly different. While Chishan and Levana had managed to extend their mental capacities to traditional telepathy and telekinesis, but as such he felt that they'd mastered the ability more than he had. If this were a challenge of pure might, he would most definitely win, considering his ability limits against theirs. However, should they choose this to be a fight of mental prowess… the game would change. His considerations and calculations were changed and narrowed as the more experienced warrior attacked first. He mentally lifted a rock from the ground and flung it at the Android. Considering wind shear and the speed at which he had flung the stone, there was an eighty seven point six percent chance that the rock would connect with his mechanical sternum unless he moved exactly six inches to his right. With speed revealing his precognizance he shifted his stance to the right and the stone whizzed by. With a hint of a polite smirk he said to Chishan, "That was an excellent use of telekinetic abilities. Another instant and I would have been struck." There was nothing condescending in his tone. Even in a battle, he was complimenting his opponent. The other one was next. She was already on the move. Too fast! She'd been moving to the side as Seventeen had been focused on dodging Chishan's technique. As he turned to face her, the female warrior's own stone shard slammed into Seventeen and sent him reeling. As he righted himself, the android could see a pair of average size stones being crushed into pellets. He'd be torn up considerably if such a thing were to connect with him. Strange that when he was practicing his telekinetic art, moving of anything seemed to happen slowly, but in his hour of need the speed was much quicker. Connecting remotely with the metallic particulates nearby, he grasped for something of sufficient size and pulled it towards him, arm outstretched. From across the battlefield a large slab of metal flew towards the Android, torn from the pile surrounding the nearby Zerathustra. Acting as a telekinetic shield between the synthetic warrior and the buckshot that threatened to smash into him, Seventeen mentally dropped the now quite damaged shield once the percussion of attacks ceased. "Well," He remarked, "That was close. And the first hit was very solid." Still there was no malice or sarcasm in his voice. He was genuinely applauding his temporary foes. Standing upright and dusting himself off, Seventeen looked at both of them one at a time then said, "I suppose now it's my turn." Rising off of the ground to match Levana's level, he pointed one flat-palmed hand at her and the other at Chishan, very slowly and deliberately. He was testing them, of course. The first technique would only be an attempt to discern their respective power. With no other evidence of energy charged, he fired off three bursts of ki at each of them, measuring in a half-dozen total. He watched their respective responses and was prepared for whatever they were going to throw at him. So far their teamwork was showing promise. Could they keep it up? ------ Free. The Saiyan Inferno

Android 17 was an interesting machine. And very powerful. As he mentally held the stone and flung it towards his opponent, he quickly side-stepped out of the way. The piece of earth soared into the forest and finally came crashing down in the foliage. The synthetic looked at him and actually smiled and complimented him. It was strange; he had encountered foes that would be snide or sarcastic with him (or ones that he would show the same treatment for) but never had one outright addressed his tactics in such a positive manner. It was...oddly inspiring. Levana leapt into action, soaring into the air and sending her own rocky barrage down on the droid. The attack seemed to work more in her favor than his own had. She's getting better everyday, he thought to himself with a hidden smile. And again the android complimented her tactics. He's consistent and pleasant. Part of me doesn't even want to attack him. But he still would. After all, he had no problem pushing the people he respected to their highest levels. Seventeen hovered in the air at the saiyaness' level and aimed each of his open palms at them. He didn't opening gather any energy; there was no aura or crackling of the air ionizing. No, ki balls simply materialized out of the thing air and came raining down upon them. Three of the orbs came zig-zagging at him, intent on either hitting him or exploding around him. Though he had no idea of the number that this android was at, he did know he was strong. And getting hit by those would not be a good way to prove his worth. As the first one came barreling in his right arm swung up and across his chest, swiping the attack away and deflecting it off into the thicket of branches above. When the other came in, his left arm swung up in an uppercut motion but with his hand open and his palm facing up. It connected with the blast and sent it trailing after its older brother. The youngest of the attacks came next and with a push off the ground and his right leg coming up, he punted it off in the other direction like one would kick the winning goal in soccer. He gave no time between his defense and starting his offense. As his left foot came in contact with the ground, he was leaping into the air once again; only this time, he was coming right at Seventeen. When he reached the proximity of physical connection, he lashed out. Two quick front punches to the chest and a right kick to the thigh started the combination and then he finished with a hard sidekick aimed for the bot's right side. As he fell from the sky, his mind stretched out and found a passive log hiding in the thicket near the temple. His invisible hands wrapped around the trunk and pulled it hard from its mossy resting place. It broke through the reeds and leaves and came flying at him as he came down close to the ground. He mentally directed it down and as it came underneath him, his feet dug hard into the old, dying wood. But he kept going... He was now sailing in the air on top of a log. He arched it hard to the right and came around in a full circle, now aiming at Seventeen again. He tilted the front of the log up and began to run up the inverted surface quickly. When he reached the end, he pushed off the edge and into the air. At the same time, he let his mind spin the log around, like a propeller on an airplane. It kept going forward, intent on crashing into the android. The Saiyan Inferno came down and, whether or not the log connected, began his finishing combo. Two elbows and knee came at the synthetic at the same time, hoping to hit the face and pelvis. And as he fell away once again, he shot out a power front kick for the stomach. He backflipped in the air and landed hard on the ground, kicking up a puff of dirt on either side of him. His eyes quickly darted up to his hovering opponent, ready for the inevitable counter attack.

Levana looked slightly tensed as the android quite easily deflected the rock that the full blood Saiyan had thrown at him. However, a little grin appeared on her lips when her own first attack managed to hit their opponent. She smiled even more, when he complimented her for it. The synthetic quickly recovered though and his mind reached out across the battlefield, looking for some kind of protection. A big piece of metal swiftly flew through the air and was placed between herself and the android, to serve as a shield against the girl’s second attack. He then proceeded with his own attack. She carefully watched the android as he flew up to her level and raised his hands in the air, pointing now one palm at her and one at her friend. Suddenly an image forced itself to her and flashed in her mind; she saw how he fired several ki blasts in her direction. Instinctively the feline warrior leaped to the side, out of the line of fire. Less than a second later it indeed happened as she had foreseen; three ki orbs rushed through the air, passing by her arm and missing their target by less than an inch. They exploded at the spot where still she had been just a moment ago. It appeared as a kind off déja-vu. Her head was spinning for a moment; she still wasn’t really used to these new abilities. While she needed a moment to calm her mind; she saw how Chishan already started his next attack against the android. Guess he has fewer problems to adjust to this… The saiyan aimed two punches and a kicks at the android, a basic combination actually. Levana’s eyes widened when she suddenly saw the massive log making his way to her friend. For a moment she didn’t know if he was doing it himself or if it was an attack of the non-organic. It became clear quickly though, as the wood shot from the ground and Chishan jumped on top of it, while it flew directly at their opponent. She was truly amazed, when she saw the log propelling through the air. Time to get back in action as well. The white haired girl gathered some of her ki energy and blasted off towards Android 17. The plan was to attack the synthetic warrior together with her friend. Was it cheating to fight like this, was it unfair? It would be for sure if they were facing a much weaker fighter, but since this was not the case, they would probably need to use every opportunity they had. She appeared behind their opponent at the same time that Chishan started his final combo. The Saiyaness quickly turned around in her flight so she could aim a side kick at the android’s torso, immediately after she threw two quick blows at his lower back. Like her good friend, she back flipped away from the android, but in the opposite direction. Graceful as a cat she landed back on her feet and dropped herself in a defensive fight stance. The three fighters were now positioned in a straight line more or less, with the Saiyans at the outside and Android 17 in the middle. WC 540

When are we eating?

The battle was heating up. In their own respective ways, the two warriors had made quick work of his testing attack, as he figured they would. "Cleverly done, the both of you." He gave a brief nod then readied himself as they came at him, though their manner of attacking was surprising even to the Android. The first three strikes connected, rapid blows that Seventeen couldn't have calculated, however with the hard side kick coming at him, Seventeen moved with outstanding speed to wrap his arm around the oncoming limb, "Now see," He said in a calm tone much like a teacher gently correcting a pupil, "With no ki to hold yourself up, I have full leverage," As he spoke, he swung around once to gain momentum then threw Chishan hard towards the ground. Unfortunately as he did, Chishan must have reached out to grab a nearby log-- an ability that Seventeen did not share -- and used it to catch himself. "Remarkable!" The Android said with genuine enthusiasm. Chishan came at him one more time, this time surfing through the air, "Well I suppose that can replace ki if you choose…" Seventeen said with a polite smirk, indicating that he was probably joking -- or at least trying, very few Androids were good at jokes. Within a few moments, Chishan ran up the dead tree and kicked off of it, turning the vehicle into a weapon and flinging it straight at the Android. Seventeen's eyes widened as the rapidly spinning log. Before he could react, the massive improvised weapon smashed into him and sent him reeling backwards. Fortunately for the synthetic, wood rarely won in a battle against steel, and the log broke against his inorganic flesh. That wasn't to say he wasn't damaged, his systems were relaying minor injuries and his clothes were a little worse for wear. "That was very clever. I am most impressed." As his sensors alerted him that Levana was on the move, he acknowledged and registered the information but was preoccupied by the full-blooded Saiyan's final assault, three rapid strikes that Seventeen didn't get a chance to defend against. Toughened Saiyan skin met hard metal and the former won, at least temporarily. However, just as before Chishan shot out one final kick and gave Seventeen the opportunity to reverse it, grabbing the Saiyan's foot with both hands and absorbing the kinetic energy before it reached maximum potential "I do hope you'll take what I've said into consideration." And with that, he shoved the Saiyan hard back down to the ground. As he shoved the Saiyan back down, the noticed the other opponent's leg coming around, just the slightest glimpse of her armored boot flashing toward him. It was enough. He jerked his arm down to block the kick while simultaneously throwing himself back in mid-air to perform a sort of reverse headbutt on Levana. Unfortunately for the synthetic, his attack wasn't enough to cause his female opponent to stop her final jabs against his back before she retreated as well. With the other two on the ground, Seventeen dropped as well, plummeting like a stone for a moment before catching himself with air repulsors at the last instant in a display of supreme control. "If we could, I'd like a moment. Just to speak." He glanced at Ja'vei for permission. The Master seemed confused but nodded. Seventeen turned to Levana first, "I hope you'll forgive my bluntness, but your power level is a mere fifteen percent of my primary reactor. Slightly less than ten percent of my secondary, but I do not believe that will be necessary to activate." He glanced at Chishan as he continued, "Your current level is roughly half. I know you can't tell, since I produce no energy, but those are the facts. I have been, and will continue to, alternate my speed and strength between the two of you so as to not accidentally give you any less or any more than you can handle. I will not kill you. However, I have a request. I wish to fight both of you at your most powerful. And I do not want you to be afraid of attacking me together. You are allies in this, you must act as such. This is a test for me as well as you, and though I know you are both honorable warriors, I believe there are extenuating circumstances that allow this. In order to encourage the aforementioned cooperation, I will now up my limits to sixty and twenty percent respectively. I expect that you will be able to match." He gave each of them a kind look and said finally, "And with your permission, Ja'vei, I will begin again?" The venerable old master nodded. And in an instant Seventeen was on Chishan. As he'd promised, he was using sixty percent of his power now, and it was enough for him to dash across the field in a blur of speed, straight at the Saiyan. When he reappeared he had a fist charged full of white hot energy, almost overflowing with it, and aimed it straight for Chishan's jaw. Whether the attack connected or not, he used the momentum from moving forward to turn himself about and rush at Levana, though he didn't risk the same blur of speed. Rather, when he reached her he leapt into the air and aimed a kick at the side of her head, "Detonate." And a burst of energy exploded from his shin, threatening to take the female warrior in the burst. Using the force of the explosion, he jumped backwards and landed between them yet again, extending both of his hands straight out and firing three more bursts of energy at each of them, matching the respective limits he'd promised. He wanted to see the best of them. He hoped they could give it. ------ 1.Hikou+ Counter Chish A2 (Take the 3QAs, block SA counter with SA) Free. Take Chish A3 2. The Saiyan Inferno
|
It was an oddly familiar feeling; his skin crashing against hardened metal surfaces. He had sparred Rubic so many times that the toughness on his knuckles and fingers had hardened in preparation for the next match against the metallic exoskeleton. And though Seventeen had a synthetic layer of skin above that plating, Chishan could still feel it as he rifled off his first three attacks. But as he attempted to finishing blow, the android caught him and...informed him of his miscalculation. And then he was thrown downwards. When he came around for his next physical assault (after his telekinetic tree throw had proved the success), it turned out quite the same. Once again he had been caught in the air by the droid and was simply thrown away after being taught another lesson. Most saiyans would find the advice fool-hardy and aggravating, an insult to their way of battling. But the Saiyan Inferno was always looking to improve himself and he found the words dished out by the synthetic oddly informative. Maybe it was because Seventeen wasn't trying to mock him; he was legitimately trying to help him learn. He allowed a small smile to come across face as the droid prepared his attack pattern. His form flickered out of existence and reappeared in front of him, a cocked arm swimming in white-hot ki. While the speed of this machine was incredible, it wasn't beyond reading. His own right arm snapped up and became engulfed in orange ki and just as the attack came forward, his own counter snapped to meet it. The crash of orange against white was loud, painful and brief as their knuckles smashed against one another. A brief flash of mixed light and then it was gone, as was Seventeen as he rocketed off to Levana. When he was finished with her, the android once again created balls of energy and sent them flying at both of the allies, three for each person. The Amnesiac Saiyan's eyes narrowed as the blasts came racing in at him. With a shriek of energy and speed, his form split and raced, unseen to the eye, off to the right. He heard the explosions around him and with any luck, he would escape the proximity of the damage with the sudden burst of speed. As he reappeared, his eyes flashed a bright yellow and were instantly followed by two thin lines of ki flying at the droid's back. As he cut off the connection between his pupils and the attacks, his mouth was filling with ki-formed flames. Another second passed and his lips parted, unleashing a cloud of burning hot inferno, hoping to engulf the droid. His form split apart again and reappeared directly across from his previous position. As his body came to form again, his hands snapped together at the wrist and were pulled behind his back. He reacquired his opponent with his eyes and, as he did, a ball of bright blue ki formed in the finger cage that was hidden behind him. "Kamehameha!" was all the warning Seventeen would get, the trumpet proceeding the inevitable attack as his hands together snapped forward and unleashed the Turtle Hermit's signature technique. The entire battlefield was engulfed in the bright light as the beam cut through the air quickly in hopes of crashing into the metallic warrior in the air above.

Again the synthetic warrior compliment them on their fighting, before he continued to explain some things. Levana was bit confused; unsure of what he was trying to pull here, but she listened carefully as he started to speak. Fifteen percent of his power, really? The white haired Saiyaness understood that the android was being friendly and meant it well, but still; she was only fifteen percent of his powerlevel? That rather depressing to say at least. Howell, that only meant that she would have to train even harder… After his little talk the android leaped back in action and first rushed toward her friends. She quickly put up her defense again, ready for the moment he would come after her again. And it didn’t take long indeed; in a blink of an eye Android 17 stood again right in front of her and aimed a high kick at her. She swiftly dropped her elf on her back, so his foot couldn’t touch her, but cleaved through the air instead and caused an explosion right where her head had supposed to be. The feline girl quickly kipped back up and landed on her feet again, ready to attack her opponent once again. But the android wasn’t finished yet. She realized to late that he shot another three ki orbs at her, so she couldn’t dodge them anymore. In a reflex she merely lifted up her arms to try to protect her face. The first energy ball exploded on her left shoulder and arm and was quickly followed by the second one that connected hard with her hip. A burning pain shot through her limbs, at the places where she got hit. The third attack luckily passed by her and exploded on the ground behind the Saiyaness. By the time she lowered her arms, Chishan was already back in action. She tried to coup with the pain and get herself moving again to help her friend. The full blood moved across the battle field, towards the android with a remarkable speed; his image was not more than a blur. As he reappeared she saw her friend firing lasers from his eyes, immediately followed with an burning inferno shot from his mouth, and she softly smiled; it were two attacks she liked to use as well. However, not today. While Chishan rushed to the other side again, she powered up her hands and rapidly fired a good amount of bright blue ki orbs at the android, in an attempt to distract him. She knew that these blasts would be easily to dodge, but as he did, the energy balls would gather around him in the air, so she could guide them with her hands and draw them all together into the much stronger fighter and make them explode all at the same time. At that moment a yell escaped from the full blood’s mouth, together with the bright ki beam that was launched from his hands. The Kamahamaha lighted up the complete battlefield. Levana quickly decided to assist her friend and throw in some extra firepower herself. She raised her hands again and with the palms pointing towards her opponent, she fired another six energy balls. He spoke. They listened. He attacked. They defended. Fascinating. Not only was Chishan prepared for his surprise attack, he was ready to cancel it out with a punch of his own. Due to Seventeen's repression of his abilities, their fists met in matched explosive energy, the likes of which was enough to throw Seventeen back towards his second target. As the second attack shot towards Levana, the surprisingly limber warrior dropped down to avoid it, promptly negating Seventeen's second strike. The final series of rapid bursts of ki took the less powerful warrior by surprise, but the full-blooded Saiyan's evasion was successful. The two of them began their counter attack with a surprising blow. His sensors indicated two beams of energy searing into his back, forcing the Android to stumble forward and turn about. Unfortunately as he faced the Saiyan, he came face to face with a gout of flame straight to his face. His eyes shut and emergency air repulsors activated, a clear jet of condensed air that was meant not to reduce the damage, the physical form took damage, but the air kept his replicated skin from melting off in the face of high temperature flame. As he stumbled backwards again, nearly tripping over himself, he muttered, "Now that was an impressive combination. Quite damaging." A sudden rise in energy called his attention back to Levana as she began to pepper his general area with bursts of ki as Chishan darted away. He tilted his head, "Your power is impressive but without aim you cannot expect to--" He stopped and looked around as he realized that the ki spheres were all still there. Floating in various spots around him. "Oh no." And this was all he could say just before the flurry of energy spheres converged onto his physical form, causing a massive explosion. As the mixture of smoke and dust cleared, Seventeen stood still, covered in a fully spherical shield that had taken out the brunt of the blast, "Now that was a clever maneuver, Levana. I fear I could have undergone serious damage had I not--"
Seventeen turned back to face Chishan as the warrior fired off a massive blue beam of energy straight at him. The Android held both of his hands out and grimaced, grabbing the beam just as it reached him. The energy pushed at him for several moments before he let out a war cry, absorbing a beam of energy far beyond the capabilities of any other Android's absorption technique. As he did, the spray of energy slammed into his back, diminished slightly by the slowly cracking barrier around him. "Quite impressive. I am not disappointed in asking for your best." Something clicked inside of him. All at once a burst of information revealed itself from the depths of his memory. Kamehameha - The legendary technique of Master Roshi of the planet Earth, performed by cupping one's hands together, focusing energy into that point and charging it. The battle cry and name of the technique can be used as a focus for the blast. With additional practice you may be able to replicate the technique. Image stored and energy output stored for later practice. "Now I believe that you've shown your respective skill, I believe it's time for me to show mine." He moved in a flash, reappearing in mid-air with his attacks prepared, his left hand was out at an angle, pulling it behind him like someone preparing to throw a frisbee. Rather, there was a disc of energy charged to roughly Levana's level that shot off towards her. His right hand was simultaneously extended outwards towards Chishan, hand pointed towards him and gripped slightly, with a charge of electricity covering his hand. A fraction of the energy that Chishan had used against him was put into the attack and refracted back at him in a blast of clear energy, dancing with electricity. Giving them only a moment to deal with the attacks, he straightened both hands out and pointed one at each. Small spheres of burning yellow ki expanded several times over until they were roughly half the size of the Android himself. Each. Almost too big to contain, he fired them both, one at each, the massive burning entities like twin suns aiming for his respective foes. He dropped out of the sky like a stone and landed on the ground with last minute grace. "I believe I've proven my point, respectfully." ------ Free. Take Chishan A3/A4 1. Barrier vs Levana A2 (-5% ki, -90% dmg) 2. ST+Limiter Removal vs. Chish Tact (-4%, +6% ki) Free. Take Lev A3, barrier reduces some dmg 3. Tech Scan Kamehameha 4. ST+Hikou+(Second Wave) Mastered Kienzan + Ki Shockwave (-14%) <Kienzan @ Lev, Shockwave @ Chish> 5. Hikou+Charge. Tact. Hikou+Burning Double Big Bang Attack (-21%) (One @ each) Note: Ki level of both techs matches 60% and 20% respectively.

Alright, show time. So first up are the Crit rolls. Chish gets punched in the face and it's just a punch. Lev gets the punch to the face and it's just a bunch. As for Android 17 well... Chishan Used Flamethrower It's Super Effective! Android 17 was burned by the attack! Also, he's three times dead. So that's a failure on the Crit Rolls against Team Saiyan, and the machine is somehow burned. I'll leave you to dwell on that. Moving on to the Roleplay Award. Solid posts all around. Feels like you guys were giving solid effort all around. With guys like you rolling around like this, it's really hard to find fault to see who gets the lead. Ultimately, I think Android 17 takes the prize for handling the two vs one situation so well. Now for the damage report Android 17: 98% ( Sticks and stones may break human bones, but mine are made out of metal! ) Chishan: 92% ( Partial Dodge of A17's Energy Dan in your third post ) Levana: 88% ( Relatively the same damage, but taking the Energy Dan full on cost you a bit more ) And with that, I think I'm done with this Battle Report. Also, Android 17 is super dead. Like, two hundred times dead. ( And in case it's not super obvious, no Android 17 is not in fact two hundred three times dead. Though he should be. Because he's a jerk ) |

The Saiyan Inferno
|
Seventeen was spinning in every direction as Chishan and Levana attacked him from the sides. The saiyan watched as the droid was forced to defend himself against an onslaught of different ki attacks. He couldn't range their success into percentages (as he was currently calculating his next moves and tactics) but it was safe to say that they were pushing the droid beyond his expectations. Then the bot claimed he was ready to show his respective skill. In a flash, he was moving with both arms up and prepared with energy. Two different attacks at the same time. I've seen something like this before... he wondered as he watched. But before his memory could catch him up, his scouter's database of knowledge quickly locked onto the form and concluded it to be a certain technique labeled as 'Second Wave' In an instant, it displayed a counter-measure to deal with the flashing of lightning in the droid's one hand (which, he could only assume, would turn into a beam) and the disc of energy. A tornado began to grow in his throat swiftly, spinning in form and in power. When Seventeen unleashed the simultaneous attacks, he was prepared. The clear beam scorched through the air towards him, crackling with energy-formed electricity. His jaw dropped, his teeth parted and the kiai in his throat burst forth with tremendous power. It swallowed the beam coming at him and ripped it to shreds in a flash of light, followed by sizzling of ionized air. But the scream wasn't done yet; it continued forward and tracked the energy frisbee heading towards Levana. It grasped at the back-half of the disc and tore the particles apart, ripping off a chunk of the blast. Now completely uncontrolled and no longer fluidly transferring energy, the kienzan fell to pieces and showered the ground in front of the saiyaness with small remaining embers of ki. They were given a moment of reprieve, which was spent watching the android create two boulder-sized ki blasts in his facing palms. He glanced at Levana and then back at the attack aiming at him. I don't have time to get us both out of the way. I'll have to trust that she can handle herself, he concluded as his face hardened. When the two new suns came scorching down towards their targets, he allowed a single inhale of air before his form split to pieces. The ground where he had stood erupted upwards in a ki-filled explosion, tearing the ground asunder and ripping a crater into the once pleasant ground. A hard wind blew from the detonations in each spot, causing the tree trunks surrounding the area to sway and lean away in awe, their leaves flapping in the wind. The Saiyan Inferno reappeared on the ground diagonal of both explosions, putting the android directly in his sights. His eyes narrowed slightly and his hands came forward in front of him, palms facing the droid and his fingers stretched out. "I see you wanted to end this encounter with a bang." He yelled, fully aware of the irony in his words. As the last syllable left his mouth, the ground around him suddenly thudded and cracked from the energy pouring off his self. His aura burst to life in a swirl of yellow and white, curling around him like a rounded shield and continuing to spin like a hurricane around its eye. In the turmoil that was his tornado, his hair rose with the wind and flashed a bright glowing gold. "Allow me to counterpoint." And as he finished speaking, his heat dome erupted forward, like a cheetah launched forwards for the gazelle. The energy around him followed after the beam, intent on crashing into the standing synthetic before him. "If you're still standing after that, I fold." He said, taking in deep breaths as he tracked the attack and the target. He was sure that Seventeen would find a way to dodge the wave, it was just a matter of watching how he did it. He crossed his arms and watched the display before him.

She couldn’t deny being disappointed when the android pulled created a kind of shield around him to block off her attacks. Admitted, that scatters shot was one of her best tech’s so far and it barely did any damage; she still had a long way to go before she would be anywhere near the level of her friend and the android. That ki shield looked pretty awesome though, maybe she could ask him about it later, he seemed friendly enough, but first they had to finish this battle. The android quickly moved back to action; this time he shot a different attack at the two friends though. Levana swiftly moved away as the ki frisbee came her way, but her eyes widened when the blast started to change direction and followed her. Damn, what is… Right before the attack hit her, a loud yell spread across the battlefield and the disk splashed into pieces right in front of her feet. She quickly looked up and locked eyes with the Saiyan. He had neutralized the attack for her… There was no time for a ‘thank you’ now though, since the android immediately send out another attack at both of them. On each of his hands a bright bol of ki started to grow bigger and bigger; as she felt the energy coming from the orbs, the feline girl realized that she had to act fast to avoid this thing. In a split second her speed raised and she ran across the battle field; she moved so was that her image seemed to disappear for a moment. She quickly looked at Chishan and felt how he started to charge up his energy for his next attack. Let’s see now if I can keep Seventeen busy for a moment… Levana rushed towards their opponent and aimed a low, powerful kick at his stomach, trying to send him tumbling through the air. She then speed teleport to intercept his flight with a swiping claw attack across his back, reverse followed by slamming her elbow and knee into the small of his back. As a finisher she would aime a double handed hammer blow to the back of the androids neck, to send him back towards the ground. By now her friend would be ready to fire his attack. WC 384

Their defenses were impressive. Not only did Chishan manage to negate his second attack, but he destroyed the first blast of energy with little effort. His final explosions were dodged with the same relative ease. These warriors were truly powerful and impressive. Their counter attacks came quickly and coordinated. Levana struck first, tossing Seventeen around like a ragdoll, catching him by surprise and knocking him into the air, jabbing her knee and elbow into relatively less protected parts of his structure, then finishing off by smashing him back into the ground. The Android was barely able to recover, the ki signature surrounding Chishan increasing several times over in a matter of moments. Emergency protocol override. Primary reactor set to full. The Android leapt to his feet as the energy began to discharge. He crossed his arms over his chest and braced himself, ducking his head behind the cover of his arms in order to defend himself as the blast washed over him. Moments before the energy hit, he received another bit of information on his internal reader. Danger: Burn damage detected. Defenses at 75%. Emergency self-repair initiated. Oh my. Seventeen grit his teeth and let out a roar of energy as the ki washed over him, tearing apart chunks of his clothing and flesh, even removing bits of the metal beneath his skin-replicant clothing. But eventually, as with all things the burst of energy ceased. Seventeen moved to stand up, shaking his head and checking his internal damage sensors. That one had definitely hurt. But following the blast, Chishan mentioned his claim for surrender pending the Android still standing. With Seventeen still standing, albeit breathing heavily, he said, "I accept your surrender." Following the match's completion, he walked forward to shake both Chish and Levana's hand, respectively. "It was a good match. You pushed me to a new limit and I appreciate that. The both of you are fantastic fighters and another match in the future would be fantastic." ------ Free. Take Yahoo! 1. Power up to full (During Sunstone Charge, +25% ki) 2-3. Block Supercharged Heat Dome (Devoting two actions to ensure maximum… blocking) 4.-Tact. Accept Surrender |
