Alphonse approached his target, a woman with pointy ears and long black hair. Not that it was hard to find her anyway, because of his scouter. It read right at five thousand, easy for him to take, but Al figured she was cloaking it.

She was in the middle of a clearing surrounded by trees, on a small forest on a slightly bigger island. Al quickly evaluated his resources, and decided he could quickly attack her and then hit her with a couple energy attacks.

Wait, lets back up a bit. Alphonse was attacking her because he believed she had with her the three ancient gems: Red from Arlia, Green from Namek and Blue from Yaidrat. These gems had the ability to transform the user into a mythical transformation of said race by inhibiting the mind blocks on them.

Springing out from behind a tree and then going through the next one while getting ready to punch her. Al connected with her face with a punch while swinging his leg around in a side sweep, connecting with it into her chest.

The air had thickened as he had begun to attack, and Al realized it had slowed him down. Bracing for the retaliation, Al realized he was probably out of his league.

Drawing his sword, he waited to see what she would do next.

The demon girl sat surrounded by green. A trickling sound echoed into her ears by way of the nearby spring whose crystal clear water leaked through a rock formation carved beautiful by nature itself. It was serene, surely a calm before the storm as she pondered on her eventual move to the city of Ergonia. It was time. Morgana would face her ascended power soon enough and by the end of it all, the both of them would have a piece of the pie that was revenge: sweet for the demon girl, bitter for the enchantress. Yes, she was mentally prepared at this point. All she waited for was the guardian, Kento, and the goddess, Lana. They had gone off somewhere looking to prepare. Although, it was mutually agreed that there would not be much to prepare for. When dealing with the element of magic, there was always the unexpected.

The demon girl heightened the pitch in her breathing for a moment, taking a deep one in. Then she forced wind out. Her fingers were playing with some of the leaves that had fallen from the tree above her head. She could feel their moist texture between her fingertips. This tropical humid climate provided the vegetation here with plenty of water and sunshine. This island sat outside of the Kyro cluster and so was not shielded by Kento’s magic barrier. A little danger now and then never hurt anyone; except for the person that had to face her. Kasume’s patience was much more so than usual since she was now back on her home world. But certainly something would try and play with her buttons soon enough.

Seeing her cabin still inhabited by the witch hunters sent by Morgana agitated her. But at the same time it flattered her. Morgana still saw her as a threat. That couldn’t be closer to the truth if she spoke it herself. Kasume could feel the deepest darkest parts of her eager to let loose and pay Morgana the fury she was past due. It would not be long now. All this time spent preparing, working, pushing past the limits, and waiting; it was set to pay off. But first, a little exercise. The demon girl rose to her feet, allowing the leaves she had been playing with to flutter down to the dirt. She had moved maybe two steps if she counted the foot that never made it to the ground before a solid strike pressed against her face. Her balance staggered some and there was the sound of a feminine grunt that she scruffed out of her vocals.

Next she felt another strike press against her chest region, and she felt herself fall sideways. As she fell she turned a bit, landing upon her side with a soft thud. It was soft for no other than reason than the fact that she landed on the soil and her fall was not steep in the slightest. She laid upon her back like this as her hair settled down upon her face. It obstructed her view of the sky and the leaf-filled branches extending their arms out. Silence. The only things she could hear after a second of silence was someone’s feet touching the ground, his breathing and what sounded like the drawing of steel. It seemed a witch hunter had been hiding upon this island as well. She had hoped to avoid being seen by any of Morgana’s little toads as possible.

“Feh…” she let out finally.

Then the demon girl began to rise into a sitting position, her hair falling out of her view, though some of lochs rested upon her shoulder. Her eyes had not yet drawn over to her attacker. She was still positioning herself. She gave a moment to viewing her arms, searching for the one thing that would seal her abilities outright. Her brows sunk as soon as she viewed them. No bands. This fool had squandered his chance of catching her off guard. There were no witch bands placed on her. Her lips curled into a grin and she tightened her fists. Then she rose to her feet, finally looking her attacker in the eyes. There was a man with a little blade in his grip. But all she seemed to see was his fear. Her hands dropped to her side, still fists and she took a step toward him.

“Man with a mission…” she said.

Another step forward and her eyes went deadly.

“But you do not seem eager follow up,”

Another step forward and this time she pressed her left foot down in the dirt making sure to leave an imprint of her foot. Then red static started to build up around her body and she began to flash teeth while still smirking.

“Fortunately I have a way of dealing with such hesitation.”

Even now as she spoke, a shade was washing over their heads. The shade seemed to present a bit of a screen as it appeared. A strange humming noise was present in the air and her body seemed to glimmer a bit in resonance with the strange shade that appeared and presented a bit of a dome around their current standing point. She took a step further as red streaks began to crawl up certain places in her hair, giving her streaks of red and black in it all. As her body began to crackle viciously with red electricity, her eyes gave off a ravenous red glow.

You do not appear to be a witch hunter. But you’ve come looking for me all the same. Unfortunately I cannot expend much time on you. So you’ll just have to ask yourself the point of your stupid actions in the next world.

The demon girl’s hands were now present in front of her, a strange orb floating above them. The girl merely pushed her palms forward, projecting the orb at her target for it to land at his feet. The effects of it would be felt soon enough. The demon girl’s eyes looked around once as her power continued to grow. It was a shame. This island was beautiful. The appreciation she had for it was something she could not speak of. But, with the mission that was soon at hand, she had no time to linger here. The more her power grew, the more she glowed. She looked like a ruby red beacon at this point.

"Hope the god of judgment has mercy on your soul. FI’YUR TORUSEN DE’VEUR HUS GYAAAR!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!"

Bringing her arms out, the demon girl’s brewing power then spilled out of her suspended body quickly covering the shaded dome that she had placed them in disappearing in the light, her screaming suddenly drowning out do to the high pitched humming noise that had released with her power, all that took place after that was a vicious explosion. Although the explosion remained contained within the shaded margins, the light expanded as far as the entire diameter of the island itself. Having reached it the peak of its reaching point, the light began to die and retract toward her standing point. Slowly it faded until her shadowed form could be seen again. Her eyes were closed, hair expanded out in several directions. When the light died completely, her hair settled down once more and she opened her eyes again. Blood red and an M was glowing on her forehead.

She reached out with her senses looking for him. She had to confirm his existence before dropping the barrier that contained them. He could have found a way to avoid the attack somehow. Anything was possible. But so far all she saw were the remains of her explosive power. A deep crater. Somehow the island had managed not to completely be wiped out under her release. She knew she liked this island for a reason. It had managed to stay intact during the island crusades over 20 years ago. Surely it could take more punishment. But for the moment, the demon girl felt a bit taxed. That didn’t stop her in the least. Her energy was still stirring so perhaps he would get one more show. The demon girl could feel her body ready and able. She moved like the grace of the wind, now that she was able to see the complete area that had been shaded off by her magic. She circled it at blinding speeds until she was fairly invisible. Once this had been accomplished her eyes looked for the center of the dome. Her energy was peaking again at this point. Once she found the center, she raced to it and stopped, her body flickering in and out focus while there.

Again, the demon girl reached deep into the bowels of her vocals, erupting with a loud roar as the light expanded from her body once more to deliver the same drastic explosive effect as last time. Trees outside of the dome had finally been uprooted from the dirt and sent flying to the water. How this had not occurred the first time was a mystery in itself. Like she thought, the island was tough. The power she erupted from her body took the entire dome into its chaos and hopefully her foolish warrior foe along with it. The explosive light this time did not manage to quite tip over the edges of the island this time but it was close enough. The light retracted itself toward her once again, soon displaying the demon girl with her arms out floating over the ground. She dropped down to one knee and placed a hand on the ground once all had been said and done. With that, she could but only wait and see.

She forced a breath out as she had done earlier before this all began. She rose to her feet, ankles shaking just slightly. It wasn't like she expanded power like this often. But this was good. Her fight with Morgana would tax her to the extreme. Knowing her limits was vital. Fighting off the after effects as soon as possible was essential. So standing again, she planted her feet and somehow found it within her to take a potent stance sure of herself that stranger things could and have happened. Perhaps she were foolish to expend that kind of energy so carelessly.

Al watched as she hit the ground, but felt no sympathy as he figured he would be proved soon enough. Proved he was as she got up after a minute, and then began speaking something about which hunters.

When she got about the point of Man with a mission, Al piped in with a comment on the fact that he was a kid with a mission. Seeming to not hear him, she began talking on how he wasn't eager to follow up.

"I don't like hitting people, especially ladies, when they are down on the ground. That is part of my honor code."

She stepped forward and put some force behind her left foot, imprinting the ground, and as she did that, a red crackle of energy flashed up from her foot and spread out to her body. His scouter began to vibrate, and seemed to stay on the vibration function, as her power level began to skyrocket. And skyrocketed some more, and then more, and kept going.

The electricity was arching from her, and tearing up the ground as it hit it, and incinerating the shrubbery when it touched it. The scouter cracked and showed her output right around 75,000 and it kept going. At that point Al noticed she was glowing red, and her black hair was now decorated with red streaks. Her eyes glowed red, and she looked demonic, wait no, she felt demonic. Grasping the cross beneath his armor he pushed it outward as he jumped into the air, attempting to get away from her.

As he did so, she threw something at Al, and not knowing what is was and not intending to figure it out, shot backward. Al froze as something prohibited his movement, and he stopped flying, though laws of physics still seemed to work as he flew across the ground, and then ended up eating the ground while immobilized. As he flipped and received scratches and bruises from the trees he went through, he noticed that she seemed to be doing something.

Al sweared when he hit something hard, only seconds later after hitting something hard and immobile. Al was only a couple dozen feet away from her, and Al couldn’t move a finger.

His scouter confirmed her power level at around 145,000, and the ceased to stop calculating after fizzing out. She put her hands forth, and then light built in her hands.
Alphonse muttered in Latin, “Mater Dei, damnatus sum”
Light and power exploded from where Al was, spreading out from the focal point insanely fast, and Al blinded himself looking at it. The power hit Al, and Al just felt pain everywhere, and then went kind of numb. Al laughed at this, since this was usually the body’s way of saying, “Hold on, pain is processing.”

After being blinded, Al noticed he couldn’t breathe right and he couldn’t move right. His sword was either gone or flew off somewhere. Al noticed her with a letter on her forehead, and she put forth her hands again.
“Tu canis feminam!”
Quickly thinking, Al flew off in the opposite direction, knowing that he had little time to evade her explosive attack again. A boom and bright light began, getting brighter and louder, chasing Al as he tried to escape. Riding his heels, the explosion blew Al off of the island, injuring him slightly, but Al managed to dodge most of it.
Al grunted when he skidded across the water, feet dragging against the surface, causing ripples from where his feet had touched and then waves where he had dragged. Laughing at the near death experience, Al realized he could do nothing else at the moment as the nerves processed more pain. His armor was almost gone, and his scouter was to. Blood dripped from Al onto the water, coloring it pink before it faded, just like his cohesive thoughts.

Alright, battlers, here's the issue...

Kasume is grossly higher in power level. With the apparent damage rating of each of her attacks, not to mention the gross difference in power level, stats, and general RP quality, I'm pretty sure its safe to assume that, even if he didn't die with the first attack he took, he certainly did with the second one.

Sorry Alphonse. You'll be spending the next four weeks in the Next Dimension. Don't say no one warned you about this.

She could feel it. His life force transcended, most likely to hell. The deed had been done. She stood upright and looked over. Even though the Stasis Field contained her explosive power, much of the island landscape outside of the dome had been ripped away. The water spring had been completely evaporated. Now she could sense Kento. So he had chosen to view through their mental link after all. She smirked letting her mind run an apology along the lines of "Sorry, I could not help myself."

She gazed about once more. She truly had sympathy for the island that had to endure her wrath just then. Her eyes returned to normal and the red streaks in her hair faded. The 'M' engraved in her forehead had vanished as well. The shading she had cast around her now dead foe and herself was fading. The sun was allowed to shine down on the beaten island at its fullest once more. Now she took slow steps about with her eyes gazing upon the seared land. Undeserving. This land did not deserve her power like this. And surely the outburst alerted the witch hunters and maybe Morgana to her return.

Perhaps she could not undo that. But there was one thing she could do and as she pondered on it, Kento's voice whispered into her ears. "Will you do it?" She nodded, seeing his form transparent several feet apart from her. The guardian bestowed her his blessing and now his presence appeared solid on the land before her. There was but one thing to say in reference to such a thing.

"You show-off son of a bitch," she uttered.

The guardian had on a smirk and then closed his eyes as his gentle white aura began to shimmer off of his body. She took had an aura about her, red of course. The two joined hands after drawing closer to each other. His hand felt unusually warm and her hand felt right in his. But she tightened the grip around his hand making him wince. She sensed his attraction beginning to bubble. Not today friend! Now with the guardian and witch hand in hand eyes closed and energy linked in harmony, their power began to surge through the island like a gentle wave slowly moving over the land. Who knew she was capable of anything harmonious. As their power surged about the island, the land started to show signs of repairing itself.

Strong focus and a bond she usually did not allow herself to recognize, the combined power was restoring the island to its former glory. Their auras began to expand as their focus dug deeper and deeper. So a magnificent swirl of red and white completely covered the island, a bright light beacon across the ocean. The water seemed to shift away from the swirling red and white energy. After a few moments of this, the energy began to flicker on and off rapidly. Then suddenly with a flash it was gone. What it left behind was miraculous. The island was fully restored and she could hear the trickling sounds of the water spring nearby again. She smirked and then forced her hand out of Kento's grip.

"The next time you hold my hand better be because you're saving my life, pervert."

Then she vanished into the restored vegetation, returning to the water spring so she could again bask in the serenity. Her fingers returned to playing with leaves that had been restored on the ground. It was almost the event that never happened. Except as she held a clump of his dust remains in her left hand, she smiled knowing that it did happen. She planted the palm and her foolish victims remains onto the dirt, covering it with some of the soil. Perhaps he'd grow into a good plant.
