At the lighthouse, Fero and Garmai were chained to the wall of the summit room. Fero was struggling to get loose but to no avail. The demon laughed as he watched him struggle. He could watch the man struggle all day as amusement but this was business. "I'm sure you know of the string of attacks that took place as of the last few weeks, Doctor. My master beckoned for all of them and while she's pleased with what we've done, her ultimate satisfaction will with the obtaining of your most illustrious Ki Manipulation Device. So tell me where is it?" Fero continued to struggle choosing not to speak at all. Garmai was passed out. The demon found himself getting tiresome of Fero's silence. He rushed the doctor and struck him in the stomach. Fero gave a gasp of pain and a grunt as the demon removed his fist. Now the demon was in his face. "I'll ask you again! Where is the device?" Fero gave a cough then looked the demon in the eye. "I shoved it up your mother's ass!" The demon grew enraged and grabbed the doctor by his throat. He pulled him off of the wall and rushed outside to the balcony, holding Fero's body over the edge. "You insignificant human! Where is the damned device! Tell me or I'll kill you!" "If you kill me...cough! You'll never...find the device!" Fero responded. The demon grew angry and then happened to look down and see most of his guards lying unconscious. He thew the doctor back into the room. "What the hell?! What happened to the guards!?" He then looked at the lone figure standing down there. He was obviously looking at the demon. The figure was standing there in a doctor's outfit; the full front white jacket as well and wore a set of glasses. "It appears that your guards are suffering from a minute case of the flu. So I prescribed them some medication. The problem was it put them to sleep." The figure spoke. A closer look would have it be Junior in a doctor's outfit. More of the demon's guards were coming out there to him. "Grr! Get that little bastard!" The demon ordered. With that Junior took off around the corner and went behind a tree, the guards chasing him quickly. They would be stopped short with the bright flash of light that hit their eyes. Junior appeared there now in a brown vest and blue shirt, brown slacks to match with a camera in his hand. "Front page news for the Hopset Gazette! Demons at Pilot's Lighthouse!" He used the camera to flash the guards once more then disappeared behind the bushes. One of them went to pull a gun and take aim. Out of nowhere the lash of a whip took hold of the guard by the wrist and snapped the gun out of his possession. It landed into Junior's other hand. There he stood in an explorer's outfit. Pulling the trigger he released the gun's bullet into the face of the guard and then proceeded to yank the whip hard, swinging the now dead guard into the group behind him. The demon now pissed off decided to head down there. But when he got there, Junior was gone. "Where did that little bastard go?" TWEET!! The sound of a whistle came from behind them. They looked to the water where a boat was docked. Junior stood there in a captain's outfit. "Attention ladies, gentlemen and demons. The cruise to hell is now boarding at pier 3!" The demon was completely enraged by now and stood to confront him. Fero was watching from the tower window in surprise. "Ok ya little punk! Just who do you think you are anyway!?" The demon asked. "Me? Glad you asked!" Junior took off to the left and went behind the tower. At that moment the roaring engine of a motorcycle came as Junior came rushing out from behind. As he rushed by them he did a sharp turn and kicked up a dust cloud and parked the bike there as he gave a sinister grin and a thumbs up. "At times you might see me kicking up dust with my motorcycle as Tornado Junior!" "What!?" Junior pulled off with the motorcycle and leapt into the trees with it, only to land down on a branch in his doctor's outfit, the bike was gone. "Now at other times, I'll prescribe the cure all to your ailments as, Doctor Junior!" He launched a syringe and needle at the guard behind the demon, striking him in the eye. The demon rushed at him but Gokou had jumped up into the trees, coming down again on the demon's head with a kick to cause him to stumble. He was in his reporter's outfit. The guards rushed Junior who then flashed them in the eyes again with a camera shot. He then lunged and swung the camera by the strap, catching the first guard in the face with the camera. He then landed on the shoulders of the second guard and jumped high again, landing behind them. He had a thumbs-up flashed as his other hand swung the camera around by the strap on his left side. "Also, I'm the ace reporter from the Hopset Gazette, Scoop Junior!" "AAAAH!!!" screamed the demon as he rushed Junior again. With a flash from the camera, Junior disappeared from sight. The demon then found himself being strangled with the edge of the whip while Junior stood behind him holding the handle with hands. "Sometimes, I'm up for adventure and mystery but I strike the foes hard with my whipcord as Whiplash Junior!" Junior then swung the demon around and into the bushes with the whip. When the demon was able to stand again he saw Junior standing by the boat in the captain's outfit, a salute being given as he blew the whistle. "And finally, I'm your cruise captain on the ocean ways to hell as, Captain Junior!" He then launched the whistle into the creature's face as he rushed him. When the whistle smacked the demon he gave a lunging punch to the creature's stomach and a spin kick to send him sideways. The demon slid to a stop quickly and now saw Junior leaned up against the bark of the tree. He got a glimpse at his father, staring down at him from the tower and grew angry. Oto-sama! These guys will pay! "Now the moment you’ve been waiting for! Who I really am! Wait for it!" Ki energy began to surround Junior as he leapt into the air. The energy overtook him and caused a blinding light to appear. Moments after it vanished, Junior was seen standing on the strongest branch of the tree, light blue gui and white belt, the red headband on his forehead and a determined expression on his face. He was in a fighting stance. "The boy whose father and grandmother you took! The name's Junior...Gokou Jr.!" "That boy we left in the car!" The demon responded in realization. Swinging off of the branch he landed in front of the guards and demon in stance. "I'll make you change your evil ways!" Junior stated. At that very moment, a powerful image appeared behind him. His great ancestor, the powerful fighter known as Junior, who's spirit was now with him giving him courage. "Kid, you're in over your head!" Junior stood face to face with the Demon and his minions. A sweat drop rolled down the side of his face. After putting on such a brilliant show just now, it just dawned on him he had no idea how he was going to fight off these demons. Nevertheless, he held firm and kept his eyes on the foe. "Kid, you're gonna regret coming here! We thought you were dead. Ok boys, get him!" The remaining five guards lunged at Junior. He backflipped and pushed off high into the air. Removing his headband he used it to lash out at guards, grabbing one's arm. Spinning around he was able to slam him into the tree. Just a few moments after that he placed the headband back on his head just in time to dodge a knife thrown at him. He landed a kick into a guard's stomach and sent him flying into the water. "Not bad kid! But now it's my turn!" The demon lashed out at Junior. He managed to duck a claw swipe but was kicked aside and into the tree. Fero saw this and grew worried. "Junior! Grr this is all my fault! I shouldn't have come here." Fero was about to make his way down to help when three guards appeared at the stairs. Junior tried to recover from the strike only to find himself being gripped at the throat by the demon. The demon had a grin on his face. "Oh ho! You're quite the troublemaker aren't you? What's a boy like you thinking by challenging Demon Shadow?" "Grr! I can't lose! I came...here to save Oto-sama! And you won't stop me! HAAAAAAAH!" By touching his headband with both hands he released more energy from his body, blinding the demon and getting free. The demon staggered and tried to recover only to be slashed in the face by Junior's staff. Being relentless, Junior lunged into demon with a kick. He then proceeded to aim his staff at the demon's heart. "Power Pole extend!" He shouted. The pole extended quickly into the demon's chest and came out the other end. He then proceeded to jump overhead, hands ready. "Now we finish it! This is for kidnapping my father!" Junior delivered a ki force against the demon and released it into his brain causing the demon to be eradicated. The guards that were left took off running. This left Junior free to get to his father. He went to the top of the tower via the stairway. "Don't worry, Oto-sama! Sobo-san! I'm here!" He said. Junior reached the tower summit only to find his grandmother still unconscious and chained to the wall. His father was nowhere in sight. "Sobo-san! Oto-sama? Oto-sama!" "He's not here!" Junior turned around to see the man he met at the car accident. Junior was surprised. "He's not?" Junior responded. "No, your father is a prisoner of the Panther Claw once more." The man explained. "No! How could they? And why didn't you stop them?" Junior asked. "I wouldn't have been able to follow them. But it is a certainty that this is far from over. They will do whatever it takes to get your father's research. That is why you must protect it." "How am I supposed to protect his research?" Junior outraged. "Your father kept the bulk of his research in Dokensapato. They will go there and try to retrieve it." "So I have to go to the city?" Junior said. He turned to see the man had disappeared. "He's gone!" He heard a groaning noise from his grandmother and turned to her in surprise. I need to get her home! Junior removed her chains and carried his grandmother out of the tower. Having an attachment on his motorcycle he set her in it and took her home. Junior was sitting out in the field, an expression of worry on his face. "Oto-sama!" He said. The only way I'll get him back is to get that research from Dokensapato. Sobo-san would never understand if I told her. I'll do it! I'll go to the city and protect my father's research! Better yet, I'll bring it back here! Then those demons will fight me on my own turf. He walked over to the pond and stared at his reflection. He noticed his headband and wristbands. He gave a look of courageousness and tightened his fists. "I can do this! I can save Oto-sama!" He tooked off from the pond. His mysterious partner was watching from a distance. He had anticipated Junior’s decision and was waiting. Fero Hiiragi, I'll keep watch over this boy. With Junior’s bag packed he was set to begin his fight to save his father from Panther Claw. -- Junior splashed his face with water. It was the 10th time so far he’d thought back to that day. Lately Panther Claw had been strongly on his mind. But to him this made no sense. He’d defeated the clan a long time ago. He sighed and looked up at the night sky. One of those many stars in the sky was Earth. There were times he wondered if he would get to return to it. But tonight he looked up with confidence. A great change had befallen him. Things were clearer to him now. It hadn’t been easy to deal with everything in the last couple months but this feeling inside him seemed like it was worth it. Kento stood with him now, his eyes glancing at the newest super human being and smiled warmly. But his body had begun to become transparent. He walked up to Junior and placed a hand on his shoulder. That’s when Junior turned and noticed his state. “Kento-sama! What’s wrong?” “Don’t worry! Tch I’ve been split from my real body for too long. If I stay much longer I’ll die on both sides.” “What!? “ “Yeah. A lot was sacrificed to get you here.” “Then we have to go back to Ergonia and…” Kento waved his hand. “No. You won’t be going back.” “Why!?” “You have another more important task. If my guess is right, your friend Jared is also gone from Ergonia as well. The battle there Is an affair of non-importance to you both. You’re both needed on Avalon. The portal I will open soon will take you there. I have to go fight by Kasume’s side. I will see her safely returned to Earth after.” “Kento…” The man seemed to strain as he did it but his focus soon produced a portal opening in front of them both. “Here. You must go quickly. I’ve done all I can for you now. What you do with your power is up to you. But your destiny is laid out for you now. Junior it was an honor to meet you! Go now!” Junior looked at the portal, unsure of what to do. But if Jared was there, the two of them needed to meet up anyway. He took a step toward the portal and then turned. “We will meet again, Kento! So don’t talk as if this is the last time. Bring the demon witch back safely. I want to settle the score with her later!” Kento nodded. With this, Junior went through the portal. Junior plunged through the wormhole with the same uncertainty he had when he first came to Dokensapato in search of his father.
Junior scowled also remembering that was the day he met Sulley. He was an arrogant and incapable jerk back then. But in time he became a valuable ally. Junior’s journey had been a long one and it was far from over. Now he had what lied ahead on Avalon. Junior couldn’t come to any ideas as to why he was being sent there. But if Jared was there they would discuss things upon arrival. Words: 3,218 |

Jared and Ayumi looked around. It appeared they had just landed in a valley. Some strange light ejected them from Ergonia out of nowhere. And now they were here. “I don’t get it! What happened?” Ayumi asked. “Well you touched one of those lights that we were told not to and I guess it threw us here. Way to go! And just when we were close to the palace!” “Don’t blame me! It appeared right in front of me!” Jared turned away from her with his arms folded, still looking grumpy as he did so. “Well it is your fault. Now I have no idea where we are and how to get back there.” Freed looked around a bit as the two argued. He quickly pieced it together and turned to Jared with a start. Avalon! Jared we’re back on Avalon! Jared looked over to Freed. He seemed surprised. Going to Avalon made little sense. They had departed to Ergonia from Earth. This was really puzzling and frustrating. But Jared’s resolve had not faltered any and he started walking again. “Let’s see if we can find Junior. If we were ejected maybe he was too,” said Jared. “Wait a minute. Where’s that other guy who was with us?” asked Ayumi. Jared stopped. “What other guy?” “You know that ‘Freed’ guy!” Jared went to point at Freed and then realized now that they were no longer in an enchanted world, Freed went back to being invisible to everybody else but him. Jared sighed and decided not to explain it. As it was he didn’t really want her around anyway. “I guess he was able to stay there. Anyway we should press on. I’d rather not be here if anyone should come around looking for a fight.” They started walking on. Don’t you think you should tell her where I really am? “It doesn’t really matter does it? Besides, I’d like to get her to go away eventually. We were brought here for a reason though. I’d like to find out why.” You’re serious. Are you also still worried about your father? “I’m always worried about dad. But that vision we were shown of my dad and Junior’s dad. They’re doing something! I wish I knew what it was.“ -- Captured. Check! Held at gun point. Check! Evil zeppelin of doom! Check. Foxy villainess’s glare of doom. Check! Bag of beef jerky. Double check! Victor stared at the vivacious Sinclair. Up in the skies upon a zeppelin there was probably no real chance of escape; at least at first sight. Dr. Hiiragi was anything but happy. But Victor seemed calm. He took in another piece of jerky before she ordered the bag taken from him. One of her minions snatched it from him. “Hey! I was eating that!” “SILENCE! You fools really don’t take this seriously do you?” “I’m sensing a bit of…hostility here. Listen Sinclair, we’re adults here. I’m sure we can come up with a logical, reasonable…” Sinclair fired a gunshot past Victor’s face. “…completely submissive compromise.” Dr. Hiiragi groaned. “Please stop talking…” “Doctor, the briefcase! Where is it?” “I seem to recall it falling out of the car when you lifted us up! Maybe we should go back down and look for it.” Sinclair rushed up and planted a good slap across Victor’s face. “Stupid human! You talk way too much!” “Mistress I found it in the trunk!” came one of the agents. “Bring it here!” Victor and Dr. Hiiragi watched as the agent brought the briefcase over to her. She stepped away from them and took the briefcase from the agent. “Good! Miare will be pleased.” Dr. Hiiragi looked up. “Miare? Is that your new leader?” “Perhaps. Why should I tell you anything?” “I can think of a few reasons,” said Victor. Sinclair snapped her fingers and Victor was punched in the stomach. He keeled slightly but stood back up again and decided to keep quiet. “Now, Dr. Hiiragi, I’ll ask only once. Your son, where is he?” “Why do you want my son?” “As the one responsible for Lady Zora’s defeat, we want to see to it that he’s completely punished for his insolence. So, where is he?” “Kids grow up these days. I sent him off to college. Go look for him yourself.” “That was witty! He’s learning,” said Victor. “Tch! I will not have my time wasted. Lock them up!” Victor snatched the bag of beef jerky back from the agent that took it. “If you guys are locking me up, I want snacks.” Victor and Dr. Hiiragi were led off. They were placed into a cell where Victor saw fit to finish chewing on beef jerky quietly. Dr. Hiiragi was looking through the small hole. “Great! They have the briefcase.” Dr. Hiiragi looked back and saw Victor quietly chewing on the snack. Annoyed he went over to the man. “Now you’re quiet? Aren’t you gonna do something?” Victor kept eating. “Hello? Are you there? Doesn’t the fact we’re in a cell locked up with Panther Claw bother you?” Victor still kept eating. Dr. Hiiragi grew angry and snatched the bag from Victor. “Victor!” Victor took Dr. Hiiragi by the leg and gave a sharp pull, causing him to fall. Then he took back the bag. “It’s impolite to take a man’s food while he’s thinking. Sit down and shut up.” Victor went back to eating. “This zeppelin is about 800-900 feet in length and 200 feet in diameter if what I saw on the way up here was right. We’re probably traveling at about 150 mph about now. Feels like our altitude is climbing still. Hmm. We probably have two guards sitting outside with the cell and two more in rotation. Zeppelin this big I can estimate is manned by at least 45-50 crew members excluding our lovely hostess. That being said I can only think of one reasonable course of action.” Dr. Hiiragi was sitting up. “What’s that?” “Wait and see where they take us. Even if I fight us out of this cell and take down every crew member aboard this zeppelin, I’ve never flown one so chances are we’d be in a worse situation afterward. So we wait and see where we end up. Then we fight. Don’t know about you but I’d rather play risk with escape on the ground.” Dr. Hiiragi nodded. “Cool! I’m napping. Wake me when we start dropping altitude. Cuz it will mean we’re almost to our destination.” Victor turned around laid on the floor and started to sleep. Unbelievable! - After some time sleeping, Victor woke up to see themselves still in the cell. It was certainly a restful nap. As he got himself re-orientated, he soon spotted Dr. Hiiragi looking rather defeated. Victor stretched himself and stood up. “Eh! How long was I out for?” Dr. Hiiragi just seemed to look at him with a bit of contempt. “What’s with the look, doc? Just tell me how long I was asleep for.” Dr. Hiiragi finally sighed, shrugged and said, “About an hour.” “Seems longer than that. Did you get any rest?” “Do you really expect me to be able to sleep in here?” Victor shrugged. “Eh I guess not but since there isn’t anything else to do and you’re gonna need your strength for later you probably should have.” Victor walked toward the door. He looked out the peep hole upon the door. He took two steps back and went into a bit of a stance. “What are you doing?” asked Dr. Hiiragi. “Ehh! I want a little fresh air. Plus I think we let them keep us here long enough.” “What do you want me to do?” Dr. Hiiragi asked. “Just be ready to act when I say so.” The man nodded. Then Victor wiggled his brows, grew a devious look and focused on the door. The two guards standing watch were getting to be quite relaxed; that is until a force sent the door flying off its hinges. The two guards were shocked by the door flying. “What the hell!?” They didn’t waste time trying to get through the dust. They were pushing through the to the cell when suddenly Victor snatched them by the collars with his hands. “Hey boys! We’re havin’ a costume party and you’re invited. For your costumes you’re gonna be…us!” “HUH!?” He yanked them into the cell. The sound of vicious blows was then heard as the two men grunted and yelped in agony. After a few moments, there was silence. Victor exited the room first dressed in all black with the brown jacket and fedora on. “Man! I feel kinda cool wearing this get-up! Ey, doc you dressed?” Dr. Hiiragi seemed to stagger out uncomfortably in the new outfit, adjusting the head mask a bit before putting the hat on. Victor retrieved the door and tried to fit it back in the doorway. Making it look as if it were still locked was essential. “This is probably not going to work for too long but let’s give it a good run.” “What is our plan?” asked Dr. Hiiragi. “I don’t really have one. I just want to look around a bit and see if its even possible to try and escape,” replied Victor. Dr. Hiiragi nodded and followed Victor down the hall. The zeppelin had a lot of ground to cover. A part of Victor was almost nervous. And to think he promised Sandra he’d be home tomorrow. This was quickly turning into a prolonging affair. Victor seemed to be looking for an something. He was uttering to himself, “Got to find a window” over and over again. They came to a room that was unlocked and entered into it. Seeing a bed, this was easily figured to be a resting quarters. With luck he found the window and ran to it quickly. He peered out and could see plenty of land below. They weren’t crossing over water. “Ok that’s good! There’s land below. I was worried we were over the water by now. Let’s get back to the cargo area. I need my bag.” “You don’t think they confiscated it?” “Not where I put it. We should be able to get to the cargo room no problem. I remember the way.” Victor had a grin on his face. Leaving the room they continued on until they found a ladder leading down. So far there had been no sign of guards. Were they all in conference with Sinclair or something? Victor and Dr. Hiiragi reached the bottom and headed down a walkway. The cargo room where they had been picked up was just ahead. They eased down the hallway till they were close to the door. They heard footsteps from behind and quickly rushed into the cargo room. Someone was coming. The car was right where they left it but they needed to hide first. Victor took Dr. Hiiragi behind some crates and waited for the footsteps’ source to appear. “You realize wearing these things they’ll probably think we’re guards right?” Dr. Hiiragi asked. “Yes but we can’t take that chance. Now shh.” Victor peered over the crate. The source of the footsteps turned out to be a guard in question. He had his gun drawn. This meant that he had heard them in the hall and was taking caution. Victor kept his position. The guard seemed to be looking around from the door so Victor ducked back behind the crate. After a few minutes of silence, the footsteps started and seemed to draw further away. The guard was leaving. Victor and Dr. Hiiragi peered out from behind the crates. It was time to move. They made their way to the car. It had been left right where it had been placed. Victor looked inside the car. The keys were still there. “Wow, the keys are still in the ignition. These guys are lax!” “Maybe overconfident? Panther Claw was unmatched until Gokou Jr. showed up.” Victor popped the trunk open. Then he ran to the back of the car. He lifted up the black tarp that made it look like the trunk’s bottom and revealed his bag and the bags of food. “That was all originally in the back seat with us!” “I switched the location of everything during our pitstop. You putting the briefcase on top of the compartment turned out to be a good idea, Now I’ve got my bag and we’ve got our food. Hurry. Eat some before we go.” “You want me to eat at a time like this?” “Doc, the next few hours are going to be really stressful. Eat!” Beef jerky out, bottled water and soda. The pair ate until they were satisfied. They put the leftovers in Victor’s bag. “Now let’s see. Our next move is to…” “Drop the bag and surrender quietly.” The pair looked around from behind the car. There stood Sinclair and a group of her guards. Both Dr. Hiiragi and Victor were shocked. “You kidding me? Our disguise didn’t work!?” “Do you think a zeppelin this big wouldn’t have surveillance cameras?” asked Sinclair. “It was a good theory. But so you were watching me baby, eh? I knew you loved me. They always fall after the first dance!” said Victor. Sinclair’s irritation boiled. Quickly she drew her whip. Acting quickly, Victor pushed Dr. Hiiragi back behind the car before jumping to the side. The whip snapped the ground instead of himself. He landed and started running toward Sinclair. “So we’re doing a repeat eh? You know the old saying, baby! It’s always better the second time around!” With a raise of her finger, Sinclair sent her group of minions on the attack. Victor managed to strike first with a sharp upward kick to a guard’s chin. He was then grabbed from behind and restrained as two others took turns beating on his chest and stomach. After a few hits, Victor broke loose, gave his restrainers the toss into the group and jumped back. He focused deeply and then thrust his palm forward at the charging group, unleashing the same force that blew the cell door off its hinges, sending them flying past Sinclair; who had jumped to avoid the incoming wave. Victor found her whip wrapped around his right arm once again as she landed. Victor looked up at the irritated demon woman's face and smiled. “Oh yeah, you and me baby! Just the way i want it!” “For your insolence you will suffer Panther Claw’s unforgiving wrath 20 times!” “Make me suffer then, baby! I love a rough lady!” His gusto only angered her further as she applied all of her strength to yank him forward. He used this given momentum to shift his body and land a kick straight into her stomach. He knocked her back into the wall. After landing he went into a series of backflips as she gave chase to him. Jared, my only son! In the short time I’ve gotten to watch you grow, you have made me very proud. Our fight in the dojo was where i truly got to see you shine.
Your abilities will continue to grow infinitely. Jared, I hope you will never stop growing. Life is adventure! This is yours! Your old man is fighting hard to keep strong for you! As his thoughts rolled he continued his fight with Sinclair, weaving about her attempted whip strikes. He managed give her a heel strike to the torso and force her back. She smacked him with the hilt of her whip and kicked him to the floor. He took in a gulp of air. She was dropping down from the sky with her boot heel ready to impale him upon landing. He rolled to the side and shot a kick at her kidneys. Watching her buckle because of the hit, he jumped to his feet and back rolled over the hood of the car, falling behind it in time to avoid a whip strike. - Jared staggered in his footsteps and nearly stumbled. Seeing this, Freed was curious. Jared stared up at the sky. Jared? “You ok?” asked Ayumi. Jared stared up at the sky quietly with his mouth slightly opened. His mind flashed with images of his father doing fighting with a woman of sorts. Suddenly he became taken by a numbing feeling of the surreal. “I…don’t know.” ’Did I just hear dad’s voice?’ Jared focused his mind again. The moment he did, he could see it clearly. The fighting he was doing against this unknown woman was fierce and showed a fire in him he had forgotten existed in his father. ’Dad! You're fighting! I can feel it. He blinked and could see his dad standing there, his mother hugging him but waving. His father had a confident grin and was flashing a thumbs up his way. Life is adventure! came his father’s voice. “Jared?” came Ayumi. Freed was watching him curiously. Jared turned to them both with a confident grin on his face. “What’s with the long faces? I’m fine!” Ayumi and Freed shared a reaction of surprise. Jared smiled warmly and said, “Life is adventure! We’ve only one direction: Forward!” Jared started off running ahead with the spirit and Ayumi following behind. Observation Number 34: Life is adventure. In the eyes heart and soul of this young man lies the embodiment of his parents love and teachings. Jared for this journey I will continue to try hard. And hopefully this can be my greatest adventure. - Victor and Sinclair went into a standoff. Her anger was leaving her struggling to breath properly. Meanwhile Victor was an embodiment of calm. He smiled at her and seemed to be waiting. “What’s wrong Sinclair. Surely a demon who represents Panther Claw can muster more than this kind of strength.” “What kind of strength allows you to oppose us?” “It's pretty simple baby! The strength of a parent’s love and the spirit of an adventurer. I won't fall to your evil ways as others have.” Victor prepared to go on the attack. The advantage was clearly his. He was just about to attack when suddenly he felt something pierce his neck. He staggered at first. Then suddenly he dropped to the ground unconscious. Out stepped a man holding a syringe and needle. “Really Sinclair? This old fool gave you this much trouble?” The demon woman straightened up her form. She noticed the unconscious Doctor Hiiragi in his grip as well. “Ravine. Who sent you here!?” “Miare doesn't take chances my dear. Good thing too! You almost lost control of the situation. We’re almost to the castle. Let’s prepare to land.” The man named Ravine dragged the unconscious pair off while Sinclair prepared to land the zeppelin. Ahead of it was a very large castle. This place seemed to be where Panther Claw had taken up refuge. Words: 4,106 |

Junior seemed to float through the void reflecting a great deal on his past. There was still a bit of himself that wanted to hesitate. But, his livelihood was at stake and Kento had already sacrificed a great deal for him to get this far. Junior has had a multitude of people sacrifice themselves for him. The support they gave him was amazing. In one case it was strong enough to allow him to take back his home town. - Junior’s form appeared outside of City Hall. Taking a deep breath, he faced the front of the building and seemed to be waiting. How long would it be before someone came out of that building, he wondered? Junior’s goal had been to finish this entire thing on the outside of the building. His brows rose when he noticed people starting to come out. He gave a nod. Soon it would be time for the real fight. They came running out in his direction. Junior stood ready to go against the large group. It didn’t take long for them all to come running out of there. Junior stood ready to attack when he needed to. But for the time being the large group of bikers started to form a circle around Junior. He looked around and began scowling again. They’re trying to box me in. Soon he had a large crowd around him, all hostile and all ready for action. Junior wasn’t nearly as frustrated as he thought he’d be. But he was nowhere near taking any of this lightly. His eyes scanned upon a dead town. His mind was comparing it to what it used to be and his anger was barely containable. Just as he was ready to take action, flames lit up by the doors to city hall. All eyes went to the entrance to City Hall. Junior waited, anticipating the emergence of his true enemy, the Road King. He soon stepped out of the doors wearing a flame designed cape fluttering about. Junior growled as the man took his place out front. “You see, Hiiragi Junior? I own this town now! The place you called home is now forever changed! And soon, the towns that neighbor it will be mine also! Your struggle is useless! Hahahahaha!” Junior allowed his anger to show upon his face as the Road King drew closer. “It was effortless how we chased everybody out. Even Hopset’s police force couldn’t handle our overwhelming surge. Face it Hiiragi Junior, the battle is over! “ Shaira and Lex were making a stead approach into town on a motorcycle. Lex was operating it. “You’re full of surprises, Lex! Who knew you could drive one of these?” Shaira said. “It’s like riding a really fast bicycle! Now hang on!” Lex shot around a sharp corner and headed toward the center of town. His mind was focused on finding Junior when he saw what looked like light that could only be a result of flames. He looked back to Shaira with a serious glare. “Looks like Junior’s started fighting! I hope you’re ready!” “I’m ready! Let’s go help Junior,” Shaira shouted. Lex took the next turn and started to head toward the city hall building. It was soon as they could see clearly that they spotted the huge mob of people out front. Lex and Shaira were in disbelief. Lex stopped the bike immediately. “My god! It looks like something out of a history book over there,” Lex said. “They have someone surrounded over there too! It looks like Junior.” This whole thing is just getting worse and worse! Lex thought. Junior being surrounded, the group of bikers was starting to take their approach on Junior for his beat down. “Hiiragi Junior, remember this day! This is the day you realize how hopeless you and the people of this town really are.” Junior was starting to cave to frustration as he thought about his previous feelings on the matter at hand. He was beginning to take fault with it all. But then came two voices. “JUNIOR!” Junior, the crowd and the Road King turned to the sound of the yell. Standing off in the distance was Shaira and Lex. Junior’s eyes widened in shock. “What are you doing here!? Get outta here now!” Junior shouted. “We’re not goin’ anywhere, JR! Not here, not now!” The Road King smirked. “Interesting! Seems more people have crawled out of hiding.” “JR, don’t even think about handling this on your own! We’re a team dude! We always have your back!” “That’s right, Junior! We’re here for you!” Junior found himself touched by his friends’ words. Shaira again was made to think about their times together. But this time she had a determined expression on her face. Junior you were always a peculiar one. You did things no other boy I knew could. Today is no different. But what really makes you special is the fact that you are always there for me. No matter how bad things got or how distant you may seem, when it counted, you are there for me. Junior, you're going through something right now. I can see this now. And now, it’s my turn to be there for you. “Junior, this was your home as well as mine. You can’t tell me you forgot the one important thing about the town of Hopset!” Junior reacted again to Shaira’s words. “There’s something very important about this town, something you and I swore we’d never forget!” Junior looked down at the ground. Everything around him faded for the time being.
The whole reason I came back here was to remember the important things about who I am. Shaira is right. There’s something very important about this town and the people in it that I could never forget. “Road King! You have this town for now! The people are scared of you. But there’s something very important about it and the people that you will learn.” Road King looked at Junior with a confused expression. “What could that possibly be?” “This town was built up by a community of people. It’s a community that shares its joy, shares its love and shares its pain! The town has withstood the test of pain, prospered from the people that lived in it and remains here even as your thugs rampage the place. And as for the people themselves, they’re just as strong.” As Junior was making his speech, there came a sound off in the distance. Faint at first it seemed to get louder and louder. Shaira and Lex were looking around for the source of the sound as they were confused as well. With everybody in a state of confusion, Junior saw his chance to jump over the crowd and face Road King eye to eye. Suddenly lights were starting to appear in different directions. The sound became identified as marching. A large group of people were coming toward City Hall. And now a chanting could be heard. It was incoherent at first but then as it drew closer it could be identified as, “Freedom for Hopset!” People were chanting it over and over as they marched into the center of town. The Road King was becoming unraveled from his calm. The skies were starting to see the first rays of sunlight as the people chanting, “Freedom for Hopset” drew closer and closer. Lex turned to his back side and could see people with torches heading their way. “Shai! Look!” Shaira turned around and her eyes and face lit up with joy. Marching down the street were a large group of people holding torches. The people that stuck out the most to them in front were Mr. Rochelle, Gunther the old man they met before they got here and his two children. All of them were chanting and looked determined. Gunther and Mr. Rochelle perhaps looked the most determined of all.
The large group pf people pressed into town and were now surrounding the group of thugs and the Road King from all sides. Junior was awe-stricken. A lot of these people were either citizens of Hopset themselves or from Secaucus. They were shouting from the heart, “Freedom for Hopset!” leaving the Road King in a bit of position. “This town belongs to us! We want it back.” Shouted Gunther. “We won’t allow you to do as you please anymore! We’ve had enough! We’re going to take the town back and run you down!” shouted Mr. Rochelle. The crowd behind them roared with enthusiasm as the two men lead the fighting words. “See, JR! You’ve got not only us, but an entire town of people ready to stand up with you!” Junior gave a nod and a thumbs up to his friends. They returned the gesture and Junior turned to the Road King. “The thing you need to learn about the people of this town, and the one thing I’ll never forget is, we stand together! We’re a big family here and we do not stand for outsiders who come in and do as they please! You may get away with it for a little while, but eventually we get fed up and we fight back! It’s over Road King! You’ve been trounced off your throne! Give up now or see us all fight you!” The Road King was starting to show his anger. Lex looked over to Shaira. “I tell you this is officially the coolest weekend of my life. I can’t believe you lived in a place like this. It’s amazing!” Shaira just smiled at Junior. “It is, isn’t it?” The Road King shifted his eyes left and right, wondering how he’d handle this all. Suddenly, he took off to the right in a furious sprint. Junior’s eyes widened. “He’s trying to escape!” Lex shouted. “The Road King never admits defeat! Now watch as I burn the roads again with my speed!” With a jump he landed on his motorcycle that was waiting. Junior, scowling with anger took off running after him. “No! You’re not getting away!” “Catch the King, Hiiragi Junior, if you can! HAH HAHAHAHA!” he went as he blazed off on his motorcycle. The large group of towns people went on the charge before the rest the King’s group could follow him. Shaira and Lex came up to Junior. “Junior!” Shaira said. Junior looked over to his two friends as the towns people began to fight an all out war against the bikers. They looked on at the fighting that started to take place. The people of the towns were going all out in hand to hand against the bikers trying to escape. Junior smiled. “I’m glad you two are safe.” “Me too, JR! Your town officially rocks.” “It’s why I call it home.” Junior replied. Shaira had a look of concern. “Junior, what about that guy that took off?” Junior looked off to the distance where the Road King had fled. He had an angry look on his face. As his friends looked at him, they could tell what he was thinking. “JR, dude! Go.” Junior looked to Lex. “This guy wrecked your town. I know you want a piece of him. Go! We’ll stay here with the others and catch all these crooks.” “Will you be ok?” Junior asked. “Of course, Junior. Don’t worry about us. We’ll make sure none of these guys get away. Go, catch him so he can’t do this to anyone else.” Junior just gave a nod and looked in the direction he needed to go. His feet began to move swiftly. He was into a running start. As he took off he had his wrist raised up to his face, the dragon symbol on his wrist band now glow. “DORAGON CHI!!!!” Energy invigorated his form and took him off the ground as he changed forms within the light. As he did this, the roar of a motorcycle could be heard from within the energy. Just after that, something came racing out of the light in the Road King’s direction. Tornado Junior had reappeared on the chase and was now racing full speed after the Road King. It seemed he’d not gotten too far, because Junior could see the flames from the King’s motorcycle some distance ahead. Junior continued pouring on the speed starting to close a distance between them. Finally the Road King looked back, seeing a motorcycle trailing up behind him. It was a chase once again and it appeared that it was off to the same start as last time. The Road King turned to him with a sinister grin. "Is that you, Hiiragi Junior?" “Yes, it’s me! I’ll see you defeated and taken off the roads. It won’t be like last time! I promise.” "The speed of my bike remains unmatched, Hiiragi Junior. With such inferior a design on that, how could you ever hope to be a serious opponent to the King?" “I’ve powered up the tornado since then!” “Then it’s a race! The king accepts your challenge! Come, Hiiragi Junior, let’s burn the roads with our speed, and see who the true King of the Roads really is.” “I’m not interested in being King of the Roads. The only title I wish to have is the one I had before. HERO OF HOPSET!” The two cyclists’ vehicles roared down the road, making a speedy approach to the end of town. Soon the crossed the borders and were racing across the dirt country road. Junior kept his eyes on the Road King, determined to make up for the events that took place during their last encounter. “Hiiragi Junior, history has come a full circle! By the full light of dawn I shall prove to you once again that as Road King I SHALL BURN THE COUNTRY ROADS FOREVER! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The race was on. Both motorists hit the dirt at blazing speeds. The Road King was ahead, Junior following behind. He crossed the road in front of Junior causing him to move sideways. Junior tried to push forward. The Road King spun his bike around so he was essentially facing Junior. “Still back there eh? Your persistence is amusing. It entertains the King!” Junior scowled. “I’m actually glad to have come across you again, Hiiragi Junior. It wouldn’t really be satisfying as the King until I’ve defeated you. Maybe I have lost the town but I’ll always have the road.” He flipped his bike around and continued on ahead with Junior chasing after him. Meanwhile back in town the crowd of people had scattered across town trying to apprehend the group of bikers. “There he is! Get him! Don’t let him escape!” Lex spotted one trying to escape on his motorcycle. He looked back to Shaira. “Shai, stay here!” he went as he took off on the motorcycle he swiped earlier. “Lex! Be careful!” The man on the bike plowed through a crowd of people hitting the road to try and flee. “You’ll never take me alive, assholes! Hahahahahah!” He turned to face the road again, when a shadow loomed over his head. Looking up he shrieked in fear as Lex came dropping down on him after a jump. Lex hit the dirt and rammed his motorcycle into the back wheel of the biker’s motorcycle, sending him into a tailspin. He swerved off the road and crashed against a mailbox. After the crash, Lex got off his motorcycle, ran up to the guy taking him by the collar. He pulled his helmet off, threw it away and reeled his fist back. “THIS IS FOR MY FRIEEEEENDS!” he shouted as he threw a hard punch into the biker’s nose. Junior’s race on the road was intensifying as the two went off road. The Road King was navigating the bumps and rocks with a bit of ease. Junior’s tornado bike crossed the treacherous dirt jumping and rattling as it went along. But he wasn’t losing distance from his target. The Road King continued to push his bike quickly over the dirt. Junior’s bike did a high leap as it hit a bit of large bump in the dirt. He was about to crash down the Road King when he went to the side. After dodging Junior’s crash down, the Road King rammed his bike into Junior’s trying to force him into a crash. Sparks were flying everywhere as Junior attempted to keep his balance and push the Road King off of his vehicle. The man let out a psychotic laughter as he watched Junior struggle. “Ahaha! AHAHAHA! Try and overcome me, Hiiragi Junior! Try as hard as you can! One slip and you crash! CRASH AND BURN, YOU HEAR ME HIIRAGI JUNIOR!?! CRASH AND BURRRRRN! AHAHAHAHAH!” Junior’s valiant efforts continued to play through. The Road King had lost his reserve and was doing all he could to see to Junior’s end. I can’t let this end here! I JUST CAN’T! “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!” Junior screamed out as he pushed harder. “Huh!?” Went his opponent. Junior’s energy was being churned into his motorcycle, covering it and him in a red energy aura. “AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! HYAH!!!!” Junior continued to scream just before he gave one strong shove into the King’s bike. It was enough to send the man into a violent spin on the dirt. The Road King let out a loud growling noise as he found himself seemingly spinning out of control. Junior continued on keeping up with the man. The two of them then came back onto a solid road where the Road King managed to regain control of his bike by doing wheelie and forceful turn. Then he pushing forward on the road starting to pull ahead of Junior as his cape came flying off of him and past Junior. Junior pushed out more power from his bike in an attempt to close the distance. They blazed the road ahead reaching dangerous speeds of 120mph and higher. The man turned around to Junior again, his calm demeanor gone completely. He looked like a blood-lusting psycho as he looked back to Junior. “HOW IS IT, HIIRAGI JUNIOR!? DO TASTE THE AIR OF PURSUIT??? IS YOUR BLOOD BOILING WITH INVIGORATION AS YOU SEE MY SPEED?? CATCH MY DUST HIIRAGI JUNIOR!! CATCH MY DUST!!!” Junior was nearly stunned at what he saw. Insane! He’s gone insane! “BEAR WITNESS TO THE KING OF THE ROAD! WATCH AS HIS SPEED FILES THROUGH THE COUNTRYSIDE LEAVING NOTHING BUT A BURNING BLAZE OF FIRE IN HIS WAKE! TAKE WITNESS TO HIS ROAD-BURNING SENSE AND QUIVER WITH FEAR WONDERING HOW YOU WILL OVERTAKE IT!” Junior’s eyes originally filled with shock and perhaps even fear, now burned with the desire to win. *Event Theme Change: Chase to Win* Junior and the Road King came to a road by the ocean side that was occupied with some moderate traffic! “I’ll show you Hiiragi Junior! There is no road that I cannot burn across!” “No! Come back! Someone will get hurt!!” “CHASE ON HIIRAGI JUNIOR! CHASE ON!!!” He began making a dangerous weave around the cars that were traveling on the road ahead. A family car was the first to take witness of the Road King’s approach. “DAD LOOK OUT!!!” The Road King came in fast and jumped over the car as it went to swerve. The family inside let out a unison of screaming. But the Road King landed on the road and continued pressing on against the flow of traffic. Junior’s motorcycle followed close behind. “I have to catch him before this gets worse!” Junior’s every urge said for him to come off that bike and pursue the Road King in a different way but deep down, he also wanted to make up for the one time he truly failed to defeat the villain as Gokou Jr. His mind filled with the crash that led to the Road King’s escape, Junior vowed to stay the course and weave the traffic until he caught the foe in his own zone. Cars swerved aside on the road as Junior and the Road King continued their chase. They entered a lit up tunnel where once again they sped up, The Road King trying to keep ahead and Junior trying to catch up. “You can’t catch me at this rate, Hiiragi Junior! HAHAHAHAHA!” Junior continued to try and cover the distance. He was coming up the man’s back wheel slowly. “Road King! This madness has to stop!” “It won’t stop until you realize that you cannot catch or defeat me! HAHAHAHAH!” The Road King continued his laugh until he turned around and saw the light at the end of the tunnel. He was able to see what was past it and became shocked. “Ah..Ah…AAAAAAAH!!!!” They exited the tunnel to hit a sharp curve a large mountain type road. He was barely able to make the turn and found himself skidding over the guard rail unable to pull off. Junior was forced to keep back from the shooting sparks generated by the Road King’s bike frame grinding against the guard rail. Junior’s eyes widened in fear, at this rate he’d go over the side. “Road King, slow down! You have to slow down!!” “I’ll never slow down, Hiiragi Junior! I’d sooner fall than let you catch me!!!” Junior scowled as he pushed the Tornado for more speed, he took his hand and reached out for him. “My hand! My hand! Take it.” “GET AWAY FROM ME!!” “Idiot if you don’t take my hand you’re gonna die!!” Junior shouted. “CHANCE I’M WILLING TAKE!” Suddenly they heard the blare of a horn. Looking ahead, a truck was heading in their direction. Junior’s eyes widened in fear. “He’s gonna hit us!! TAKE MY HAND! HURRY!” “I WON’T HIIRAGI JUNIOR! I WOOOOON’T!” The horn of the truck continued to beep until the man stuck his head out. “ARE YOU INSANE!? GET OUTTA THE WAY! I CAN’T STOP IN TIME!” Junior and the Road King exchanged a look just one more time. “Remember me…Hiiragi Junior! Remember me as the King of The Road!” “DAMN IT! TAKE MY HAAAAAAND!” The Road King shot his foot over to Junior’s bike and forced it over to the other side. This was just before the Road King’s bike toppled over the guard rail and the truck sped by Junior. Unable to see his adversary, Junior just screamed out as the Road King took his fatal plunge down into the water with his bike. When the bike struck the water, it went up in a blazing explosion. Junior was finally able to see over and took witness to the explosion. “NOOOOOOO!!!!” The wind blew all kinds of dust and debris his way forcing him to look away and shield his eyes. Cars coming on the road now came to a stop and took witness to the explosion in the water. They were left stunned. Junior stopped his bike and looked out as the rising smoke was all that was left after the explosion. He was speechless. He chose to die…instead of being caught! His look of shock left him as he started to catch his breath again. Police cars were now making their way on to the scene. Meanwhile back in Hopset, the fighting had all come to a stop. The sun had risen again and now the towns people were helping the police haul in the massive wave of bikers that had overrun the town. Lex and Shaira were seated by the eroded fountain with Mr. Rochelle. Both were covered in sweat dirt and in Lex’s case blood. “I…can’t believe its over.” Shaira said. “Me either. What a night!” Lex said. “You ok, kid? You really took a beating.” Asked Mr. Rochelle. Lex looked up to him and shot him a thumbs-up. Shaira sighed and looked to Lex. “I hope Junior’s ok! He went after the guy that started this all.” “I’m sure he’s ok. It looks like this town has a way to go, though.” Lex said. There were fire engines all over from different towns helping to put out fires and free captives. It was a day of recovery for sure. But an hour passed with no word from Junior. The three had returned to Junior’s house. Gunther was there with his kids. “I can’t thank you enough for rescuing my children.” Said Gunther. “Honestly, the real hero for that is Junior. He saved them.” Mr. Rochelle said. “Where is this Junior?” Shaira was still looking down the road in hopes of seeing Junior. Lex and Mr. Rochelle remained silent. They could see the worry on Shaira’s face. But as she continue to look and wait, her expression soon changed from sadness to joy. Just a bit of a distance down the road pushing his bike was none other than Junior. He looked exhausted as he pushed the bike on foot. Shaira couldn’t contain herself. “Oh my god! Junior!” she shouted as she ran over to him. Junior put the kick stand on his bike and dropped to his knees as Shaira came running up to him with Lex trailing not far behind. “Junior! You’re ok!” She dropped down to her knees and hugged him. Lex stopped in his tracks as he watched the two of them together. “Junior, you’re amazing! Everything about you is just amazing and I love you! I love you so much!” Junior looked surprise at first. He couldn’t say anything it seemed. Shaira was looking at him a bit nervous by now. She waited for him to speak. “Junior…say something?” Soon Junior’s look of surprise faded and he smiled back at her. “Truth be told…I love you too!” With that said, Shaira grabbed Junior by the face and leaned in for a kiss. Mr. Rochelle and Lex watched them in lip lock for at least two minutes. Mr. Rochelle had a light-hearted smile on his face. Lex had a grin on his face. The pair finished their long winded kiss and looked back to the others. Lex just shook his head. “Well, it’s about time you two! It’s about time!” The two just smiled back at Lex. Moments later Junior was sitting in front of the house drinking a bottle of water as they watched cars go back and forth. The town was lit up with excitement. “It’s going to take some time but the town will soon be back to its old self. It seems every last one of the bikers was hauled in by police.” Mr. Rochelle said. “But what about the guy who led the whole thing?” Lex asked. Junior just shook his head. “He wouldn’t let me save him. He fell over the guard rail on a mountain road. His bike went up in an explosion. The search party turned up his body. He’s gone.” “Well serves him right. Now he will never be able to cause this kind of grief to anyone ever again.” Said Gunther. Junior’s eyes went to a car that pulled up suddenly in front of the house. His eyes widened as he recognized the people getting out. “Junior! Kids!” Junior was shocked. “Dad, Sulley-kun!” Detective Sulley and Dr. Hiiragi arrived in Sulley’s car and were now heading toward the group. “It’s Junior’s dad!” Lex said. Junior came up to him. “Dad what are you doing here?” “Why wouldn’t I show up here. I heard about the town being under siege after the train robbery and came as quickly as I could. Are you kids hurt?” Lex gave Dr. Hiiragi a thumbs-up. “Battle scars, JR’s Dad! Battle scars!” Dr. Hiiragi then looked at the house. “My god! The house is ruined! This is gonna cost thousands to fix!” “No offense dad, but I think we can afford it and it’s worthwhile to spend the money to fix it. This entire town is going to take time to fix. And I’m going to be here throughout the whole thing.” Dr. Hiiragi looked at Junior in surprise. “What are you saying?” “Dad, I’m going to stay here in Hopset and look after the town while its getting fixed up. I can’t leave here like this. It would have never come to this had I been here in the first place.” “You’re talking nonsense, son! What about school? The soccer team, your life back home?” Junior shook his head. “Dad, Hopset has been more like home to me than Dokensapato ever was. It only makes sense that I stay here and help the town rebuild and protect it.” “Kid, you can’t be serious! What could you possibly do to protect it?” Sulley asked. Junior looked to Sulley. “Sulley, I’ve always been capable of protecting people and things! I protected and saved you many times.” Sulley looked at him in disbelief. “What are you saying?” “I should have told you a while ago but I wasn’t sure how you’d handle it. Remember all those times a boy saved you from Panther Claw agents? Gokou Jr?” Sulley pointed at him in shock. “YOU!? YOU WERE THAT BOY GOKOU JR.!?” Junior nodded. Sulley’s shock caused him to faint. Junior just sighed. He always was a strange one Dr. Hiiragi looked at Junior and gave a nod. “Fine, since there’s no talking you out of it, I’ll allow it. But as soon as the town is rebuilt you come home, understand?” Shaira came beside Junior. “I’m staying too,” She said. Lex gasped. “Shai…!” Shaira put her arms around Junior. “Knowing how he feels about me, I can’t leave Junior here. I’m staying too!” “There’s no way I can go back home by myself guys! My parents wouldn’t let me stay here!” Lex said. Junior gave a nod. Mr. Rochelle placed a hand on Junior’s shoulder. “Boy, you get on back to the city with your girl and family.” He said. Junior looked up at Mr. Rochelle. “But Mr. Rochelle…!” “No ‘buts’, boy! While Hopset may be your hometown, right now the city is your home. You have responsibilities. Go on back. The neighboring towns of Green Ville and Secaucus are more than willing to help us rebuild. If I need extra help, I know how to find you.” Junior sighed. “You proved two things today! One, you are the Hero of Hopset. If the town ever comes to be threatened again, I’ll be sure to call you. The second thing is you proved that you still have the ability to rise to the challenge when needed. Through all your self-doubt you broke out and did what you needed to do when it counted.” Junior gave a nod. “I guess you’re right.” Junior looked to his dad. “Sorry Dad! I should have called you.” “It’s ok! Come on you three. Get your stuff, and help me get this man in the car. We’re leaving in a few moments.” The trio gave a nod. Moments later, Sulley had been placed in the car and Lex finished putting the bags in the back of the car. Junior was standing with Gunther and the two children. “Thank you for saving my children.” “No problem sir. It was the least I could do.” Shaira came over to Walter and Angela. She knelt down to them. “Walter, you are a brave young man! You continue protect your sister.” Walter gave a nod and a thumbs-up. “No problem.” “Angela, you’re a sweet young lady. Never hesitate to stand up for your family when the time comes.” Angela gave Shaira a hug. Then she stood up and looked over to Junior and Lex. “I guess we’re ready to go!” Dr. Hiiragi looked over to Mr. Rochelle. “Let me know what the costs are for fixing the house. I’ll make sure the money is sent over as quickly as possible.” “You got it, Fero. All of you have a safe trip back to the city!” Junior walked back to the car and looked back at the house. Mr. Rochelle looked back and waved to them. The teens waved back to him as they pulled off, saying their goodbyes. Junior watched as the house drew further and further away. Sulley was still unconscious. Dr. Hiiragi looked up to the rear view mirror. “You kids had quite a night it seems.” “Yeah I’ll say! We caught some crooks, had a revolution, Shaira and Junior kissed…” Dr. Hiiragi looked back to Junior. “You two finally did it huh? Took long enough, son!” “DAD! Damn it Lex!” Junior attempted to punch Lex in the arm. Lex dodged the punch. “Watch your language in the car Junior! You can totally walk home!” “Sorry dad!” Lex looked over to his friends again. “So did you two kiss all the way! With the tongues too? Heheheh!” Shaira and Lex looked at him annoyed as he was making the kissing noises. “UGH! LEX! YOU’RE SUCH A JERK!” Shaira screamed. “Heheheh! Kissie kissie kissie!” “Dad, can I please kill Lex!?” “No violence in the car!” “Come on Dad!” “I’m gonna do this the whole ride through guys! You two did the kissie! Hehehe!” Junior snapped back agitated, “At least I got a girl to kiss!” “OOOH BURN!” Went Sulley. “Sulley, when did you wake up?” Junior said. The conversation continued on like this for most of the ride home. Deep down, Junior felt a sense of peace. His home town had been saved, Sulley finally knew his secret and Junior & Shaira confessed their love. Things had taken a new interesting turn and only time would tell what life would be for them back in Dokensapato. -- Junior didn’t have much left to do but press forward. As he decided upon this, he reached the end of the void and stood prepared to continue forward. His hands touched the ground just before he rolled onto the dirt. He stopped and looked up. The sky was definitely as he recognized it to be part of Avalon. It certainly didn’t take him long to sense Jared’s signature. He was moving along as well.
As that memory passed through his mind, Junior felt a heated excitement. He and Jared had not teamed up for some time now. Fate brought them here for a reason. He was eager to catch up to Jared and push forward on their next task. Words: 6,937 / 10,155 |

The next thing he knew, Victor was awakening to find himself with his wrists and legs chained together. There was no sign of Dr. Hiiragi when he woke up. This meant he was by himself: Or so he thought. His head was spinning. Whatever he’d been given to be forced asleep was a doozy. He tried to pull the chains apart. But it was no good. Victor stayed seated on the ground. Looks like my strength hasn’t recovered! Cheating bastards! I was winning that fight too! Victor looked around now that his senses were starting to settle. It was a stone cell. He must have been placed in the dungeon of the castle. With his legs shackled, his movements were a bit restricted. But he did say he would rather try fighting on the ground. He managed to stand up at least after some effort. “Damn it! I hope that wasn’t poison I was given. The doc isn’t here. Could they have taken him to meet the boss or something?” As he sat there looking at his chains, Victor quickly realized that escape would be at a miracle’s chance at best. He was about to settle and rest when he heard a voice from behind. “Comfortable? You should be!” Victor turned his head. A man emerged from the shadows, the one named Ravine. Victor looked at him a bit stoic as he made himself visible. Victor smirked as he looked away, realizing what had happened. “I see. You’re the one I have to thank for my new accessories. You ruined a fair fight, you jerk!” “Spunky even when chained down. You’re an interesting one, Victor!” Victor looked back at him in surprise. “Our dear friend Dr. Hiiragi was yelling at you with that name a few times so I just put two and two together.” “Where is the doc? What are you bastards planning to do with him?” “Dr. Hiiragi is meeting with some of our more important members at this moment. It turns out the briefcase is locked with a pass code only he can enter. So they’re…persuading him to open it for them.” “What’s in the briefcase that you guys want so bad?” “As you know, the doctor is a brilliant inventor. His team of scientists under his leadership managed to come up with a machine that molds matter into any shape and size as the user wants. The briefcase contains the documents needed to construct the device.” Victor gasped. “Hehe I guess you see the big picture. If Panther Claw can have such a device, we can create whatever we want out of mere atoms! And what that machine can create well it wouldn’t be hard to figure out how to break it down either!” And he was gonna drive that to west city by himself? What an idiot! thought Victor. “In any case I thought I’d come down and here because I was intrigued to see someone give Sinclair such a difficult time in battle. The only being out there that should be capable of challenging us is Gokou Jr. I’m curious as to how you are skilled enough to fight. Do you know Gokou Jr?” “If I did, think I’d tell you?” Ravine smirked. Then out of nowhere he attempted to throw a punch into Victor’s face. The moment he did a loud clang was let out. The smirking demon found surprise when Victor turned out to be capable of blocking the punch. His fist had met with the iron shackle on Victor’s right wrist. The man looked into the demon’s eyes with iron resolve. “Hmm! I see. So even shackled down you’re still quite formidable. Guess I’ll have to make sure you never leave this cell. I should have known this would be the case though given we’ve met before.” “We have?” Suddenly it hit him.
“You’re the guy who drove that truck off the bridge to try and hit us! You’re the guy I fought with when I went there!” “Now he gets it! My name is Ravine. I’m one of Panther Claw’s stronger demon agents!” “You are, eh? Then how about we settle what we started on the bridge?” Ravine looked intrigued. “I’m sure of what took place on the bridge. You disturbed a fair fight and you ducked out when I showed the ability to stand against you. If you’re that strong how’s about showing it? Or are you scared that if you undo my shackles I’ll put you down?” Ravine looked at Victor’s eyes. The man was bravely talking him down. The demon seemed to be growing an urge to strike him across the face. Victor kept his stance at first. But after a few moments of being quiet, the man took Victor by the throat and vanished with him. The next thing he knew they were out in a clearing in the forest. Victor was dropped onto the soil. He stood up and was preparing to shuffle his feet. But then the chains were cut by Ravine’s bare hands. Victor looked down and almost surprised. But he got a bit of a grin on his face at the moment. “Alright big man! Let’s see how this plays out. If you lose I’m killing you here though.” Victor smirked. “Guess you’ll not be killin’ me then!” Begin! Victor sprinted at Ravine. The demon jumped over his head. Victor bent forward and snapped his leg back, catching the demon’s back as he was attempting to land. Victor rolled with his momentum, turned and shuffled. Ravine landed on the ground in a stumble. He recovered then used his cupped hand to fling a wave of dirt at the incoming Victor. The dirt got in his eyes enough to stagger his movement and Ravine took advantage knocking him down with a kick to the chest. Victor recovered his eyesight in time to roll aside as Ravine came dropping in. He planted his back against the dirt then sprang to his feet. Ravine came thrusting his fists swiftly. With each strike that came, Victor used his reflexes to smack the fists away. Then he ducked low and wrenched a right hook into the demon’s chest. It made him keel and Victor brought the heel of his left palm to meet the demon’s chin. Then he sent him sprawling with a double drop kick to the chest. Recovering from it via a roll Victor was on his hands and feet. Ravine came charging in and Victor jumped. Ravine jumped after him and the two started swinging at each other in the air. As they continued to swing at each other, they used the opposing arm to block each other’s strikes. Reaching the pinnacle of the jump, Victor managed to force Ravine away with a double palm strike to the chest. They landed on the ground and Victor threw himself into a cartwheel turned back flip to get distance. Ravine blitzed Victor and managed to get him with a tackle. They rolled around in the dirt till Victor was able to kick him off. Then he sprang to his feet again and threw himself into a spin. Ravine was rising as Victor’s feet left the ground. Both smacked him in the face and made him stumble. Upon landing Victor smirked just before he thrust his palm forward and unleashed a sharp force against Ravine. “GWAAGH!” screamed the demon as he went sailing backwards into a tree. The moment he crashed into the tree it proceeded to collapse. Victor seemed rather pleased with himself seeing that. But the demon came bursting out just as quickly as he crashed. His fingernails extended into razor sharp claws. Victor took stance and tried to prepare but now he had accelerated his speed. Ravine began swiping at Victor furiously in hopes of cutting him with the razor claws. Victor tried to meet this increase in speed with his own, ducking and weaving the fury swipes as the demon swung. Victor went for his chance and kicked at the demon’s ankles, only to catch a spinning kick against his face. The demon stumbled and fell. Victor was knocked sideways to the ground. He sprang to his feet and took his stance. The demon did as well. Standoff and now all was quiet. Victor looked into the eyes of his adversary and could see frustration. Ravine was staring Victor down as if he’d found his latest kill. After a few moments of the stare down, Victor smirked. “I only wish my son could be here to see me doing this.” “Your son?” Victor’s smirk faded. “Yes, Panther Claw made his early life very miserable with their unrestrained crime spree all over the city. I couldn’t imagine he’d be anything but happy to see me taking you on…and taking you down!” Victor made his stingy response and now practically dared the demon to push forward. “This time you’ll have to do a lot better than drugging me if you wanna defeat me!” Words: 2,148 / 6,254 |

Victor stood in the center of the clearing with his flawless stance and fearless glance on Ravine. As he stood there with the advantage clearly in his court he only thought of one thing. So glad I had some more of that beef jerky before all this started. “Knocking me out was a mistake. It allowed me to rest.” I have to get through this quickly and rescue the doc. “We’ll see if that really helps,” The fight continued as Ravine raced himself over to Victor. He jumped and was coming down at Victor with a kick. Suddenly the demon vanished like a shadow fading from sight. Victor was surprised by that and was suddenly knocked forward. He was struck in the back with an elbow. He rolled and was now down on one knee. He saw the demon smirking. “Of course he can do that. He’s a super natural being. Nice of him to remind me!” Victor smacked his fists together and stood up. “Right! Got it! HAH!” He thrust his palm forward and unleashed the sharp force at Ravine. The demon seemed to fade from sight. Victor took this moment to perform a spinning back kick, catching the demon’s face as he attempted to reappear behind Victor. The demon hit the ground and seemed a bit surprised. He anticipated my Shadow Port?! “A guy like you can’t possibly understand how tuned I am with my own senses. I train very hard. So your little super natural tricks are little more than a nuisance to me! But if you really want to show off tricks…” Victor smirked and slipped his hand into his pocket. “Then I’ve got one.” Victor pulled out a small bottle and pulled off the cork. He took a sip of the contents. Emptying the bottle completely. Ginseng! Victor kept a little around once in a while. As the liquid trickled down his throat he placed the bottle down right side up and jumped back. Victor’s body tensed up and he focused. Green electricity began to spark around his body and the pupils in his eyes disappeared altogether. The demon was surprised. Soon the focus he was drawing together began to produce itself in a whirling green cyclone around them both. “Wha…what is this?? I can’t move!” Ravine asked. “Here’s one I bet you never came across!” said Victor. He threw his hands up and then shouted, “Evil Containment Wave!” The green energy cyclone picked up the demon via a gravity like pull and now he found himself spinning helplessly around in the energy. Victor focused heavily on the swirling energy. The stress on his body was beginning to mount. But he maintained gusto and refused to falter. Ravine scream could be heard the entire time as Victor focused on the energy to keep him trapped. Victor took a look at the bottle he placed on the ground. It was ready. Victor focused on the bottle so that the energy began to surge into the opening. The energy cyclone began to fade gradually. Continuing this, Victor got to see Ravine surge into the bottle itself before the last bit of the energy disappeared along with him into the bottle. Quickly after that, Victor raced off to the bottle and placed the cork back onto the bottle, sealing his opponent inside. He dropped down to the ground after the successful sealing and now allowed his body to release signs of his exhaustion. His breathing was extremely heavy and his muscles hurt. “There we go…! That only hurt a lot…! No wonder the old man didn’t wanna teach me that!” He fell on his back and allowed his breathing to settle. After a few minutes of catching his breath he began to start looking over to the castle. Unfortunately, Ravine’s little teleport trick took them a decent distance away. He’d have a good distance to cover before getting back there. He scowled. They weren’t going to keep Doctor Hiiragi alive for too long. There had to be a way to get back quickly. “So now what, Victor? Even if you get back to the castle, you can’t deal with them all like this.” He said to himself looking at Ravine’s bottle. Victor was about to move when suddenly a bag dropped down in front of him. He was surprised at first. But a closer look at it found the bag to belong to him. “My bag!? But how?” “Victor Miruzuki, it seems you’re more capable than I thought you were. You may indeed be fit opposition for Panther Claw.” Victor stood up and now saw the man with long silver hair walking over to him in the clearing. This was the same man that had given them the car earlier. “It’s you! How did you get that for me? How did you know where to find me.” A breeze pushed through the clearing tossing the mystery man’s hair about. This man bathed in mystery and seemed to show up anywhere at anytime. Was he some kind of a ghost? “Just who are you?” Victor finally asked. “Dr. Hiiragi knows me as Zera. That is all you need to know. This and I am an ally. If we are to save him, we must reach the castle again before midnight.” This man named Zera, walked past Victor leaving him to wonder about his strength. Victor picked up his bag and took out some of the beef jerky. Some for the walk! Victor followed after Zera. Sometime in the midst of their walk, the man decided to speak. “This is your first time really going up against them isn’t it? You are fortunate to have had Gokou Jr. deal with them the first time. They’re formidability isn’t as high as it once during that time of his fight.” “So, you know this Gokou Jr?” “I am the one who carried out Dr. Hiiragi’s wishes to bestow his power. I’ve watched him grow and develop his power.” “So…Gokou Jr. is still out there? Why isn’t he here to help?” “Gokou Jr. faces a much tougher enemy now than Panther Claw. To ask him of his help would be pointless when we are capable of the job.” “It’s just my son went through so much training to be a hero like him. If you’ve raised him, you must know what he’s like.” “Gokou Jr. was like any young boy when I met him. Unsure of the world, eager, passionate, a dreamer. With the powers given to him he’s made his dream and the dreams of others a reality. He is a light of hope. But that light can’t shine every where. So we must be able to brave the darkness ourselves.” “I see. So you’ve seen him fight Panther Claw…” Zera pushed through the vegetation quietly.
“His skills are a wonder. As are yours and your son’s. Your son is most likely in Gokou Jr.’s presence now becoming stronger as we speak.” Victor silently gazed upon the sky as he followed Zera. Jared… Hiiragi Junior, i can feel your transition is complete. Never allow your light to be dimmed. All my knowledge is yours when needed. And my gift to you is at your side always.
“Victor, the fight inside that castle will not be easy. Chances are we may not return safely. Are you still willing to fight?” Victor looked over in the distance. The castle was there. His adventure with Dr. Hiiragi had been fine. Though they have their difference, Victor deep down found Dr. Hiiragi to be a good person. He looked to Zera with a determined expression. “If it were my son doing this, I have no doubt he would continue on. And so will I!” “Then we rest here for now. Your use of the evil containment wave has reduced your spirit power greatly. Rest and eat your…beef jerky.” Victor couldn’t have been happier to comply. He dropped his bag and began to pull out the stuff he bought at the gas station. He offered some to the man named Zera but he refused it and simply sat down to meditate. What awaited ahead would be tough. Words: 4,558 / 10,812 |
