Sulley's car pulled up to the Dokensapato airport. Junior and Sulley stepped out of the car. Junior looked at the airport, a determined glare upon his face. Sulley looked at Junior, concern obviously upon his face.

"So you sure you wanna go through with this kid?" Sulley asked.

"Yes! My friend is sure I should be back in Hopset. So I'm heading home." Junior said.

Sulley stared at Junior's face. He was use to seeing that expression by now. Junior wasn't giving up. There was another reason he was going home. Junior turned to Sulley, looking apologetic.

"Again, I'm sorry I got in your way. I had hoped that when I was making this trip back home, it would be with Oto-sama! But he's still out there somewhere which means this trip was for nothing."

"It's ok kid! I guess if my father was in danger I'd do whatever it took to try and save him too. I'll keep working to get him back."

Junior gave a bow of thanks and then turned to the airport. It was after that Junior proceeded to enter. Sulley watched him disappear into the crowd. That's when he folded his arms and gave a suspicious expression.

It's not over, is it kid?

Junior arrived at the gate his plane was leaving from. He held his fist against his heart and closed his eyes.

"Oto-sama! I'll fight for your safety on home turf!"

Flashback Series: Hero’s Hopset Return!

Junior's plane roared into the airport of the farm town Secaucus. With home merely just a few miles away, Junior hit the trail quickly on his motorcycle. Back at home, his absence was far from being unnoticed. Garmai sat home, having finished doing dishes. She had a picture of Junior in her hands, struggling to keep the swelling tears in her eyes from falling.

"Junior, I pray every day for your safety! I can't lose you!" She sobbed.

Junior's motorcycle screeched to a halt in front of the walkway to the house. Garmai at that very same time felt something in her heart. She rose with a start and turned toward the door. Slowly she went for the door. When she got to the door, she opened it. Her eyes widened and the tears reappeared. Junior was standing there in casual form at the end of the walkway. He had a frown on his face, holding back his own urge to cry.

"My God, I could swear I'm dreaming! Junior?" She quivered.

Junior couldn't stand there anymore. He went running toward his grandmother, his tears flowing freely.

"OBO-SAN!" He yelled.

Garmai was letting her tears loose as well. Junior came up to her and gave her a hug, the two crying in each other's arms.

"Junior! Oh my God! I thought I'd never see you again! I'm so happy you're safe."

Junior just held her closely, happy to see a member of family. He was moreso thinking of his new mission. Garmai pulled Junior away from her and looked him into the eyes.

"Come inside, Junior! My stars I'm sure you're hungry!"

Moments later Junior and his grandmother were sitting at the table eating ramen and broth. Junior was inhaling the food. His grandmother had never seen him eat like that before.

"Have you been eating, Junior? You're breathing in the food!" She asked.

He swallowed his mouthful of ramen. He looked to his grandmother.

"Sorry!"

"So where have you been?! Were you safe?"

He looked at his grandmother. He wanted to tell her everything. He wanted to tell her about his trip to Dokensapato, Detective Sulley, the demons! He wanted to tell her about the Twilight Prince and the abilities he gained after the car crash. Instead he told her that after the car crash one of the kidnappers took him to a dark place, blindfolded and kept him imprisoned. He told her that someone saved him and helped him get home.

"They still have Oto-sama!" Junior said with a frown.

"Well I'm sure the same person that saved you will save him too." Garmai responded.

Junior gave a worried expression. The Twilight Prince told him he needed to be here. That meant the demons could be planning to attack in the town sometime soon and he had to be ready. But no sooner had he given the demons a thought did he hear horses going crazy nearby. Junior and his grandmother ran to the window to look outside. The horses had gotten loose and were running across the fields. Both Junior and Garmai gasped in shock.

"The horses!" Junior shouted.

"They're loose!"

Junior gave a suspicious glare just before he turned to his grandmother.

"Obo-san! Please go inside! It's dangerous here."

"What will you do Junior?"

I'll stop those horses! He thought.

Junior pushed his grandmother inside the house and closed the door. Once inside he took off after the horses. The group of horses were heading toward the nearby corn fields where the care taker was currently irrigating the land. He saw the horses headed his way and panicked. They were approaching speedily. But just at the same time it seemed like the horses would trample his crop there came loud neighing sound from a horse off in the distance. The farmer turned to see someone riding toward him and the wild horses on a strong looking stallion. He was wearing all white, a matching white cowboy hat on his head and blue cowboy boots. He came between the horses and corn field. The horse kicked up its front legs and reared back, giving a loud neigh as the cowboy shot off his pistol in the air. The gun shot stopped the horse stampede.

"Whoa there little doggies! This be no place for you to roam!"

When the stallion lowered its front feet to the ground the rider upon its back could be seen as Junior dressed as a cowboy. He twirled his six shooter around on his finger before putting it back in the holster.

"Best be gittin you critters back to your stable! Now GIT!"

Junior took out a rope, formed a lasso and started swinging it in the air as the stallion started herding the horses back toward the stable. Junior gave a grin as he knew he had averted a disaster. Junior, looked over toward his house as he passed it, seeing his grandmother was watching the entire incident. She had an expression of relief as the horses were pushed back into the stable.

"There ya go critters! Now ya'll settle down now ya hear?" Junior said.

"Oh thank you so much, Sir! That was so brave of you." came Garmai as she came over to Junior.

Junior's hat was over his eyes so his grandmother couldn't see them. He turned to her and gave a grin beneath the cowboy hat.

"T'wernt nothin, miss! Just doin mah job! You be mindful of these here horses, ya hear?"

"Yes and thank you! I have to find my grandson now."

Junior had the horse rear back, the horse giving a loud cry.

"Giddiyup!" He shouted just before he took off from the scene.

Garmai started to look around for Junior. But no sooner has she started did she hear him calling for her.

"Obo-san! Obo-san, where are you?"

Junior saw his grandmother in the yard and came running toward her.

"Junior! Where did you go?" She asked.

"I went to find help. Where are the horses?"

"They're ok! Someone helped out. I just wish I knew who it was."

Meanwhile back in Zora's lair, the angry demon was dwelling on past failures. Standing around her were several of her henchmen.

"Mad'aam Zora, there's been no trace of Dr. Hiiragi reported yet."

"He'll show up again! In the meantime, I wish to dispense my anger. You will go to the town of Hopset."

"What are we doing there?"

"Whatever you please! I would like to see some destruction now. Since that town was where Dr. Hiiragi escaped us, it would be fitting to see it destroyed. Do go with them won't you, Arachzan?"

Behind the henchmen were a set of dark eyes as a hissing laughter came from the darkness. Later toward the early evening, Junior had finished chores and was now walking through the park with his friend Shaira.

"It's nice to see you around, Junior. I've been wondering about you." She said.

"Have you?" Junior responded.

"Yeah, you haven't been around. You're not invisible you know. Where have you been?"

"I was with Oto-sama."

"How is your father? I usually get to see him when he visits you."

"He's doing ok. He stays busy with work."

Junior's conversation was interrupted when he heard screams. Shocked, Junior and Shaira went running to see here the screams came from. They were reaching the street corner when bullets came flying past them. Shaira screamed with fear. It was also at that time that the store windows behind them shattered as several demon henchmen lunged through them to fill the streets. Shock filled Junior and Shaira's face. As they landed into the streets, several cars swerved onto the sidewalks and crashed. Shaira ducked behind Junior.

"JUNIOR!!!!"

Junior just scowled and stood guarded as he looked the bunch of demon henchmen in front of him.

Demons!

"Attention, citizens of the town!"

Junior turned to the voice source to see a creature with six arms, a spider-like face who had a dark shade of purple as her skin color. She had a grin upon her face.

"I am Arachzan! In the name of Panther Claw, we claim this town as our own. All of you are now our prisoners and will do as we say. Otherwise you will be killed off."

"Panther Claw?!" Junior gasped.

So...that is their true name! I have to confront them. But I can't with Shaira here.

Junior turned to Shaira.

"We must get to safety." Junior said.

"But if we run surely they will capture us." Shaira said.

At that time, Junior heard the screech of a car just before it came shooting around the bend. It knocked into several of the demon henchmen and pulled up in front of Junior and Shaira. The two looked just as the passenger door opened up. Junior gasped in surprise.

"Quickly get in!"

"S-S-Sulley-kun!" Junior gasped.

"You know him?" Shaira said.

"Yes now hurry, inside!"

Junior rushed Shaira into the car. Arachzan ordered the henchmen to attack the car and they attempted to jump on the hood. With the windows closed and doors locked, Sulley floored the car and drove off with henchmen chasing after them.

"Everyone alright?" Sulley asked.

"Yes, but Sulley-kun! What are you doing here?"

"I had a feeling I should follow you. So I looked up driving directions to get to this town. Looks like I arrived just in time."

Shaira looked out the back window to see cars following them.

"We're being followed!"

Junior and Sulley were now made aware of the demons following them. The two scowled, Junior more so with the feeling of Deja Vu.

This is just like what happened they took Oto-sama!

Junior grew angry.

I won't allow this to take place again.

Junior, went for the passenger door.

"Hey kid, what do you think you're doing!?" Sulley shouted.

Junior opened the door.

"HEY KID STOP!! GET AWAY FROM THERE!"

"JUNIOR NO!" Shaira screamed.

Junior dove out of the car and into a corn field. The chasing cars went by him. Junior peered out of the vegetation with a challenging expression.

"It is my chance!"

Sulley and Shaira continued down the road with the demon henchmen chasing after them. The two cars pulled up between Sulley's car and tried to sandwich him and Shaira. Shaira screamed as the sparks flew from the cars slamming into each other.

"WE'RE GOING TO DIE!!!" Shaira screamed.

Sulley was reaching for his gun in the glove compartment when suddenly he heard the roar of a motorcycle. At that moment, the motorcycle pulled up next to them on the shoulder lane. The motorcycle built up more speed and shot ahead of them. All eyes were on the cyclist when he doubled back and headed for the demon car on the left. The cyclist leapt high into the air with the motorcycle and slammed into the windshield of the first demon driven car. The car swerved onto the side of the road hitting the fence, the cyclist landing safely and turning to give chase again. Sulley looked at his top rear view mirror.

Gokou Jr?

Junior caught up quickly. Sulley decided to hit the brakes of his car, stopping while the other two went on. Junior used a chain to strike the driver, causing the car to come off the road and crash. Junior had hit the brakes on his motorcycle well before the crash took place. Junior looked over to see if Sulley and Shaira were ok. He caught them running across the field with henchmen chasing after him. Starting up his motorcycle he too gave chase.

The henchmen chased them across the field. Sulley had Shaira in his arms in hopes of being able to out run the henchmen but when they quickly surrounded him, the theory was blown out of the window. Sulley scowled as the henchmen took position.

"Foolish man! Did you think you could escape us?"

Sulley stood in stance. Shaira was now behind him, shaking in fear. Just as the henchmen were about to attack, a strong breeze blew across the field, getting everyone's attention. Standing there in the field was a short figure with loose shoulder length hair. He was wearing a white tuxedo and in his hand was a red rose which he had up to his nose, his eyes closed as the fragrance filled his nostrils.

"This field has a very distinct fragrance about it! The smell is as beautiful as this rose." the man said.

At the same time, Arachzan appeared in the field ready to take charge of the situation. As she prepared to take prisoners she took note of the man in the tuxedo. The man opened his eyes and tossed the flower he was holding at Arachzan. The demon caught the flower in her hand and was now confused.

"Your evil putrifies the elegant fragrance that fills this field, so it must be done away with." the man spoke as he pointed at her.

"What? Who are you suppose to be?"

The person gave a serious expression as he stared at the demon.

"At times, the pure and naive boy who's suave attitude keeps him cool under pressure, Elegance Junior! At other times, riding his bike like the wind, Tornado Junior! And finally at other times, the quick draw shooter of the west, Cowboy Junior!"

"What?" The demon responded.

"But as for my true identity...DORAGON CHI!" Junior shouted as he placed two fingers on his forehead.

Junior leapt into the air as ki engulfed his body. The shoulder length hair became his normal spiky hairstyle and his clothing soon changed to be the traditional blue fighting gi. The demon and her henchmen watched in surprise.

"What is this!?" She shouted.

Next thing she knew, Junior was standing in front of them with his power pole raised high and standing on an angle.

"Fighter who banishes all demons back to hell…Gokou Jr.!” he shouted.

He then lowered his power pole to take aim at the demon, a grin on his face. "I will make you change your evil ways!"

“Gokou Jr.!” Sulley exclaimed with a relieved grin on his face.

"Junior?" Shaira whispered.

"You're that boy that Mad'aam Zora wants dead! QUICKLY! ATTACK HIM!"

The henchmen went to attack Junior.

"JUNIOR!" Shaira cried out.

Junior placed his staff back in the sheath and quickly produced an energy blast that he fired at the group of henchmen. Most of the henchmen were killed off by the blast. Junior proceeded to charge the ones left alive. He landed a kick on the face of one and leapt into the air. With the power pole drawn again he flung it like a boomerang at the remaining two, knocking them to the ground. He landed upon the ground just in time to catch the pole in his grip. Junior turned to the demon now.

"I will enjoy killing you off."

Junior scoffed and shook his head with annoyance.

"Should I tell you how many times I've heard that one?"

The demon lunged at Junior with threads of webbing from her fingers. They caught Junior by the arm. The demon swung him into the air by yanking on the webbing. Junior spun in the air and managed to land on his feet. But the demon was already in his face when he did.

"What!?" Junior exclaimed.

“Gokou Jr.!” Sulley shouted.

The demon gave Junior a punch to the face and knocked him backwards. Junior caught the ground with both hands and backflipped to get back to a standing position. He found himself jumping sideways when the demon attacked again. But as he was about to land the demon had wound his legs up with webbing and was now pulling him toward her. She was just about to take him into her hands when Sulley struck from behind, giving her a punch to the head. The most the strike had done was distract her attention. She turned around and gave Sulley a backhand across the face. This knocked him to the ground. A satisfied grin on her face, she turned to give Junior her full attention only to be met with surprise. Junior had escaped.

"You cannot afford to take your eyes off of me. It's a mistake that you'll pay dearly for."

Junior was standing behind her. When she turned to face him she felt the edge of his power pole impaling her through the stomach. She sat there paralyzed in surprise and fear. Junior raised a fist and focused ki energy into it. That's when he lunged into her. At the last second he released the ki energy into her in the form of a power blast. Her now smoking body hit the ground back first. It would only be a few moments after that, Junior was standing over her. He pulled the pole out of her stomach and watched as she evaporated from sight. He gave a sigh and stood there staring at the ground for a second. His ears caught wind of the remaining henchmen making their escape into thin air. He waited a few moments, while Sulley and Shaira came closer to him.

“Gokou Jr?" Sulley said.

He advanced closer when Junior suddenly turned around flashing the peace sign. He had a grin on his face.

"Well that's one more demon that won't be bothering anyone!"

"Oh Junior!" Shaira said as she came up and hugged him.

"Junior?" Sulley responded in confusion.

Junior pulled Shaira away from him and looked into her eyes.

"Ah yes, Junior! I saw him a few miles down the road. He had a few scrapes on him that I treated before I came after you guys."

"You mean you're not...? But you look so much..." Shaira said.

Junior stepped away from her and looked at Sulley.

"Mr Investigator, you can get her back to the town safely can you not? Please do so. We'll meet again."

Junior turned and took off from their location, leaving Sulley pondering and Shaira confused.

That was Junior! I'm sure of it! But he acted as if he didn't know me... she thought sadly.

Moments later, the two were driving down the road, heading back for Hopset. Shaira was looking out the car window.

"I sure hope that Junior kid is ok. Honestly, what was he thinking jumping out of the car like that?" Sulley said.

Shaira saw someone walking down the road up ahead who appeared to be Junior's height. She turned to Sulley and pointed out the window.

"Someone's walking along the road. I think it might be Junior." Shaira said.

Sulley looked as they came up on the pedestrian. He quickly identified the person as "Junior" and started to pull up beside him on the edge of the road. Junior turned to see the familiar car come up beside him. He waved happily.

"Haha! Sulley-kun! Shaira!"

Shaira hopped out of the car and hugged Junior tightly.

"Oh, Junior! You had me worried! Don't you ever take on such dangerous people like that on your own! You could have been hurt."

Junior looked at her with a confused expression.

"What are you talking about?"

"You were amazing back there. You saved us from those terrible creatures!" Shaira said.

Junior looked up to Sulley with a confused expression.

"She seems to think you're Gokou Jr! The one who defeated that demon back there. I guess she hasn't seen you in action lately."

Junior gave Sulley an angry expression.

"What's that suppose to mean!? I could take on demons just like Gokou Jr! Let me at them! I'll kill them off!"

Junior started throwing punches at the air. He went to do a kick and fell on his back. He sat up with a tear in his eye.

"Ow that hurt!"

Shaira and Sulley gave a laugh.

“Gokou Jr, you are definitely not." Sulley said.

Junior just gave a frown as Sulley continued to laugh. Soon they were off for Hopset in his car. Meanwhile back at the dark lair, Zora recieved the news of yet another Junior defeat against her minions.

"Someone get me a visual on this Junior! I've had it! I want to see what I'm dealing with!"

"This is footage of some of the fight!"

The henchman showed images of Junior fighting against Arachzan. When she saw Junior she grew outraged.

"A CHILD!? A CHILD HAS BEEN DEFEATING MY MINIONS LEFT AND RIGHT!? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! HOW DOES A CHILD STAND AGAINST MY POWER!?!" she fumed with flames burning around her body.

The henchmen stood paralyzed with fear. One of them attempted to speak up as he got a closer look at Junior's image.

"Zora-sama! That Junior looks a lot like the boy that was with Dr. Hiiragi before we attempted to kidnap him."

Zora gave a surprised expression as she turned to him.

"What did you say?"

"I saw that boy when we tried to kidnap Dr. Hiiragi at the town house in Hopset. It's suppose to be his home. But the last we saw of the boy he was trapped in Dr Hiiragi's car when it crashed. He shouldn't have been able to survive."

"Well somehow he has and is interfering with my affairs! That's it! No more leaving things to others to do. I will confront this Junior and break his defiant soul into pieces!"

"Ah! Yes, Zora-sama!"

The evil demon glared at Junior's image with an angry expression.

Enjoy your victory for now, Gokou Jr.! It was your last!

Later that day the sound of two young children could be heard some distance across the vast farm land that sat behind Junior’s home.  With the situation of Panther Claw at rest for now, Junior returned to leisure.

"Shaira, come on! You're falling behind!" called out Junior.

Shaira looked distressed as she ran across the field some distance behind Junior.  Her feet seemed to have trouble with the uneven dirt in the ground.

"Junior, ack! Wait, I can't run as fast as you.  Ugh, slow down."

Junior just continued to laugh as he ran across the field to a large shed.  He stopped as he reached it and looked back to Shaira waving her on.

"Come on! This way!"

Shaira kept pushing herself to reach him.  Just as she was several feet away from where he stood, she took a fall. Junior gasped as he watched her drop to the dirt.  Immediately becoming concerned, he started over toward her.  By the time he reached her, she was on her knees.  She had scrapes on her elbows.  As soon as she saw those she started to cry.

"Sh-Shaira-chan!"

He tried to reach over to her but Shaira pulled away.

"Look what you made me do, Junior! It hurts!!" she cried.

"Ah'm - Ah'm sorry!" He stammered.

But Shaira continued to cry more.

"If you hadn't made me run after you like this I wouldn't have fell!  You're a jerk!"

"Don't be like that, Shaira-chan!"

Shaira's crying settled but now she was angry.

"I don't even want to see what's out here anymore! I wanna go home!"

"Come on, Shaira-chan! I promise it will be really cool."

Shaira looked up to him.  Junior had an uneasy smile on his face but it was there.  Shaira allowed him to help her up.  This time he walked with her behind the shed.  The sun was almost setting.  As the two children reached the back of the shed, they saw a ladder.  Junior rushed over to the ladder.

"It's this way."

Shaira hesitated.

"Junior, that looks dangerous!"

Junior had a sheepish expression as he looked up at the top of the ladder.  He then looked to her confused.

"I climb this all the time.  It's not so bad."

"But, what if I fall again? It'll be worse than the fall from a few moments ago."

Junior walked over to her and took her hand.  He had a confident grin and looked up at the top of the shed.

"Shaira-chan! You should climb up first.  That way if you fall, I can catch you!"

"Are you serious? How are you going to catch me if you're climbing too?'

Junior shifted his eyes away, keeping his grin, only it broadened into a genuine smile as he recalled a time in the park with his father.  He had taken a fall on the swings but his dad wanted him to climb the jungle gym.  His exact words were "What if I fall again?".  His father replied with the same words that Junior told Shaira.

"Trust me.  I'll catch you.  I couldn't watch you fall again."

Shaira was mesmerized.

"Really?"

Junior turned around to her once more, hearing his father's voice in his ears.

"As long as I'm here, I promise I'll always catch you!"

It was enough to assure her and the two climbed the ladder.  Shaira went first.

"Almost there, Junior!" she said as she kept looking up.  Junior was climbing behind her.

"Great, just keep going."

Shaira continued the climb and was just several steps from the top when she lost footing.  Junior gasped in horror.

"JUNIOR!!!"

"SHAIRA!!!"

She lost her grip on the ladder and started a dangerous drop.  She screamed in horror as she did.  Junior's horror triggered his instinct and Shaira soon found herself no longer falling.  Her eyes closed at first, she soon opened them to find Junior, shifted to the right edge of the ladder one foot on and his left hand gripping the crossbar.  His other arm had been used as a hook to catch Shaira.

"Junior!"

Junior held his tightest, sweat sliding down his face.

"Sh...Shaira..."

She watched the look of determination in his eyes and realized he would do anything to keep his promise.  Comforted by this, she reached over for the ladder, Junior continuing to hold tight.

"That's it! Grab the ladder!"

"Almost...got it!"

Soon she grabbed the ladder and reestablished her feet on the cross bar his foot was on.  The two were heavily breathing but relieved.

"You ok?" Junior asked.

Shaira's eyes lit up and she did nothing but shake her head to affirm his question.  Then he did something else to prove himself.

"Grab hold of me.  I'll climb us both up."

"Are...are you strong enough for that??"

Junior looked away.  I'm not sure.

He then looked back to her.  "If you're strong enough to hold on, I'm strong enough to climb us both up."

They finished their climb onto the shed with Shaira clutched to Junior's back.

"We made it!" He said.

Shaira just nodded.  Junior walked over to the flat summit of the shed.  With a smile he looked ahead.  Soon Shaira reached the spot and she saw what he saw.  It was a beautiful sunset that painted the farmland several different colors of twilight.

"Oh my god! It's beautiful, Junior!! Is this what you wanted to show me?"

Junior looked proud of himself and shook his head.

"Cool isn't it?"

Shaira embraced him and shook her head.  He got to hear her laugh again.  Sometime after the sun had set completely, they looked at the stars.

"This was the coolest end of the day I've ever had," she stated.

"Me too! I'm glad I got to show you.  I had wanted to show you this ever since I first saw it."

"Did you see cool things like this in the city too?"

Junior frowned.  "I don't remember much about the city.  Oto-sama brought me here when I was 4.  But whenever he visits he brings me something from the city.  When we go inside, I'll show you some of the stuff he brought me."

"I'd like to see the city someday."

"I'm sure you will, Shaira-chan.  I'll come with you.  Oto-sama tells me someday I might live there again."

Shaira just shook her head.  Then she looked back to the starlit sky.

"So Junior, how are we going to get down from here?"

"That's easy.  We jump."

Shaira punched Junior's arm.

"Ugh, Junior!!"

"Ok, I was just playing," he chuckled.  But then he kind of frowned and looked away, "But seriously, we're going to need to call someone to help us get down."

With that Shaira started to cry again.  "AHHHH! I DON'T WANNA BE STUCK UP HERE! JUNIOR DO SOMETHING!"

"Sh-Shaira-chan!"
