Avalon: Cougon Plains, Aftermath

"I shall find you..." Jordan whispered as his crimson orbs looked off at the horizon with the sun setting upon it. The blue-devil had cleverly escaped, somehow, to freedom at the half-breeds pursuit. A fierce wind blew, debris and dust picking up, into the noble hero's face as he turned to head back toward his injured student. To the warrior beside him, he gave a slight nod and then took off without further introduction; Jordan had more pressing matters than mild pleasantries.

In the distance he could see the silhouette of, a most curvaceous, Vicki. Her hair fluttered as the wind blew through the silk-like strands. Crimson paint smeared the sides of her cheeks and from two bite marks a steady stream continued to flow like a river down the cleavage of two mountainous peaks. Jordan walked closer to her, setting down softly on the surface, reaching for a pouch sewn on his waist. With two fingers, he dug into the hole, to grasp upon a single bean. The super elite withdrew and a senzu found its way toward the girl's open palm.

"Take it Vicki. I don't like our blood painting this accursed place. There are still more battles to be had, and our troops need our leadership to ensure victory." Jordan said softly as the wind ripped through his hair and body, sending his cloak fluttering violently off to his side.

"Yes, master, thank you for coming when you did..." Vicki paused moving the senzu to her lips and swallowing it quickly, "I don't think I would've stood much more chance against him." she finished, revitalized, but shamed.

Between the two warriors a cluttered field of organic and inorganic bodies laid slain and lifeless on its crust. Jordan looked out, a saddened look upon his face, as he realized the magnitude that Avalon had taken on this surge from the Steel Legion. It reminded him of his arrival on Valhalla, and to that a bitter anger settled within his mind. Bodies were ripped in half, parts were shorted and causing erratic discharges- and craters were abroad reshaping the cavernous desert.

Little one, this planet echoes with the howls of anger and pain. Nature itself is tormented by such a cruel site. My ancestors would lay fire to such a place. No need to rebuild upon it, for life has abandoned it completely. Why not put nature out of its misery and destroy it altogether?

Jordan was taken back by Andrasta's voice and comments within his mind, it unsettled him to think she would be okay with destroying it and wiping it from the face of the universe altogether. He was silent for a moment before replying to her.

There is always hope where the spark of good exists, no matter how dim it may be or the scars nature must endure from such a needless pain to occur. No, Andrasta, Ryuu kind would not lay this planet to an undying flame...they would help nurture the dim spark and ensure the scars healed evenly with their magic. I understand your anger, we will bring the beings to justice, I swear it.

Andrasta gave a low growl and receded into the recesses of his, and her, mind. Jordan just looked even graver, a more saddened expression weighed across his entire demeanor. It wasn't until he looked off toward Vicki did he remember she was in pain and needed to get her back to the medical bay aboard the Adalricus.

Still,Jordan stood there for a moment in silence, then smirked, "Lesson learned, don't underestimate the warriors of this verse. You are strong, but there is much you must still learn. For now, hang on to my shoulder and lets return to our two ships eh?"

Vicki smiled, thankful, and did as she was instructed; in a moment she found herself next to her master on the bridge of the Adalricus. The crew members snapped to attention and then relaxed as Jordan voiced them to continue as they had been; he had already begun walking to the war room to receive a report.

"Vicki, I expect you to visit the medical bay and then report back to your unit. They are doing fine, it seems, but I would think their commander would want to be fighting along side with them. An hour in the tank should suffice and return you to normal." Jordan voiced back as he disappeared through the corridor.

The Saiyaness quickly did as she was commanded and headed for the medical bay, she would welcome the synthetic liquid that would do more than the magical bean she had already eaten. As she reached the bay, she stripped and entered into the tank. Her naked, bruised and scorched, skin was something the members of the med bay had hardly seen; and quickly they tended to her.

As the medical bay team did their job, Jordan was elsewhere receiving the reports from all across the world in the war room. Crimson orbs flicked with interest through the plethora of information he scrolled through quickly. "Any whereabouts to this blue-devil warrior, Vicki called him Bebi, would be much appreciated. He will be priority number two. If he is seen, hail me and alert me to his location. In any case, it looks like the troops are doing well on the surface. How goes the battle in the sea of space?"

To this, his lieutenant spoke up and informed him of the progress they were having with the much larger legion ships. Jordan listened, absorbing all the information and was surprised to learn the grappler ships couldn't break through the shield surrounding the capital ships. "So, I presume, the best way to defeat them will be to bombard them until the shield short-circuits?"

"Well, we thought the same thing...but it would appear we don't have anything strong enough to pierce through them. They are calibrated to defend against most of the coalitions ammunitions. However, with your teleportation technique...couldn't you take a small task force and destroy them from the inside?"

Jordan raised a brow, then smirked, "Perhaps after I review the rest of the operations. For now, lets just make sure it doesn't escape upon the solar winds. eh?"

The lieutenant conceded and bowed slightly, allowing the General to do what he needed; giving orders to his commanders and sending a message back to the empire of the current situation and the development of their arrival.

Avalon: Demonic Graveyard

Teal orbs locked onto the tombstone just below; an eerie wind blew through the 'hallowed' ground as Garlic stood and remembered his pain-filled past. "It has been almost a hundred and quarter years..." the demonic herald whispered, talking to the etched stone before him.

An ivory headstone, etched with black markings remained silent as the teal pools read the words inscribed upon it. The demon dare not speak them aloud, but still they reverberated within his mind, sending a chill even down his back. Large, monstrous, hands shook as though unnerved; yet his face was emotionless and seemingly unperturbed.

Helga "The Temptress" Nestophales

Here lay the mother of us all.
Taken by the forces of light, well before her time.
The underworld misses its mother,
and shan't not forget the travesty of the accursed tale.

The mantle that rested upon the junior's back waved in the eerily moving wind. Garlic dissipated in a black plume of smoke, and was completely gone as the wind ceased and a bolt of lightning crackled in the background- illuminating the ivory headstone.

---------------------------------

Garlic Junior found himself upon a mountain top over looking the Cougon Plains. Before his demonic gaze, three silhouettes resided temporarily. One was a monstrous force, with raven-black hair and the semblance of the Saiyan race about his aura. Another was a full blooded Saiyan, female by the looks of her curves and still a powerful force as well. The other- was something that seemed like a void. As though it fled from any senses and only his scouter seemed to pick up his power.

The demonic herald queried about the phenomenon to himself for a moment, his senses were finely attuned to energies of this world and the next; however, this force was like a beacon that sifted through both dimensions. He desperately wished to confront them, but not right now. For he had just received a message from the forces of Avalon he was needed to the west; for a battle raged on and needed his added gratuity. "Maybe, next time..." Garlic voiced from atop the mountain, again a black plume of smoke dissipated into the sky and the demon was gone. Heading toward the west, upon the winds of the ancients.

---------------------------------

"Pathetic mortals. They claim to fight for freedom but their sins stain their soul and the freedom they thought they fought for become their undoing and land them a place in the eternal inferno, forever bound to Lucifer and his demonic army." Garlic voiced out while watching the battle from a distance, taking cover in the shade of a tree.

A shining warrior, made of metal and fire, caught his eye and the demon found himself leaping out and toward his vessel. Garlic's feet pattered upon the blood-soaked crust, his body transforming into a thick correspondence of armor that shined a dull black-gray. Two slits covered his teal orbs, as a blade of death writhed within his grasp.

As he closed the gap, cleaving several robotics in two, Garlic thrust his sabre forth in an attempt to pierce the shining warrior through it's sternum. No power was emitting from the vessel, but it was as tough and strong as a rhinoceros! The sabre barely made a dent, as the warrior roared in defiance- a high-pitched tone that sent the demonic herald flying and crashing through various Avalonians.

"Very well, let's stop playing and turn up the heat!" Garlic shouted, flipping off the ground; a flame surrounding his clad armor and swirling in a vibrant display of fierce waving flames. The demonic knight raised his blade, point toward the rear beside his head, and then flung it forth with a velocity that would cut through the barrier of sound itself.

A loud "boom" filled the field of battle and a cry of pain followed suit. Garlic's sabre bit through the abomination in its mid-section; a pool of silver liquid pooled at its feet, as the shining warrior grasped the edge and attempted to take the razor-edge from his midsection. To no avail, he was assaulted by engulfed, monstrous, fists and exploded- one in the chest, the other in its face!

The shining warrior went flying and crashed through several units that belonged to the Steel Forces. Garlic's teal orbs flicked with a fiery hate, locking onto his opponent with fierce resolve. The demon ran his course through the dying, jumping off one foot and extending the other- wrapping itself in hellish energy!

As he reached the, just getting up warrior, his foot stretched out in an attempt to strike it upon the jaw! "Fuck off!" the herald cried out, simultaneously an explosion forced the warrior back through another set of steel forces! Garlic touched down and stood to full height, his eyes looking through his helm to see if the opponent was out or had any spice left in his tea. He had hoped so.

"So the council has been reformed then?" Jordan replied to the three shadows that were before him in a three-dimensional display. Their darkened eyes glowed with a pessimistic candor, one that the super elite rather despised.

"That is correct, you now answer directly to us and if the Prince or King have any select mission. With that being said, you are to leave Avalonian space and return to the borders of the Saiyan Empire when our forces have helped pushed back the Steele Legion significantly enough."

Jordan's crimson orbs flickered with anger, his knuckles turned white as he curled his hand into a fist; the warrior, however, remained quiet and nodded his head and gave a slight bow before the newly formed intelligence committee. "If that is all you need from me, I have to get back to the fight..." the noble warrior replied.

"That will be all, for now, just make sure you are able to return at any time. Your student should be strong enough to maintain our forces in your stead if need be."

With the words lingering, the shadows vanished altogether, "I wonder about that..." Jordan replied softly. His thoughts went to Vicki and began to think about how best he could help her in her training and short-comings.

"Lieutenant, I understand the battle that Lady Vicki had subjected herself in was recorded, no?" the half-breed said calmly after thinking upon his student and her near-death experience.

"Aye, that is correct sir. Would you like me to send the footage to your personal computer?"

"Aye, that would be well received."

The lieutenant bowed and then took to his station, his fingers magically gliding across the digital display as he sent the classified footage to the General's own personal terminal. He gave a nod and then returned to other duties.

Jordan slightly bowed and left the room altogether, his mind distracted as the other warrior from the battle had jumped into the front of his mind's eye. He had never seen him before, but something about him was unsettling and not right. Or at least, that is what the half-breed had perceived. Of course, some books were deeper than just the cover they donned.

As the super elite walked through the corridors, he entered into the medical bay; to his surprise Vicki was not in the tank, "Where is Lady Vicki?" he queried to the officer in charge.

"Sire, she only stayed in the rejuvenation tank for forty-five minutes. Just five minutes ago she left for the surface of Avalon. There were no orders to restrain her, and she is your subordinate but to none other. So...we just presumed she had orders to return to battle by you, sire."

"Very well, which section of the planet did she fly off to?"

"Sire, with all do respect, we are in charge of the injured and warriors who return to our bay. We do not keep track of our troop movements, that would be your lieutenant. Sire."

"Right, I forgot, good work. Keep it up, I want my troops back in the fray as soon as Saiyanly possible."

"Aye sire, we will do our best." the officer stated and then returned to her duty, looking over some vitals from another lower-class warrior who was just brought in, rushed past the Super Elite.

Jordan looked at his battered body, his own senses wandering back toward Avalon and his forces below. The fading powers, that belonged to his kin, seemed to flood into his mind; "Right, they need me...time to go." the warlord whispered to him self as he pressed two fingers to his brow and vanished from sight entirely.

Avalon: Mountainous Regions, Field of Battle

Vicki whipped her sword around her hair, sending it toward (and hopefully) through the machine before her violet gaze! As the shining blade rang out in success, shreds of metal and wiring sparked erratically as the vocal box of the drone seemed to fade like an old-clock stereo.

The Saiyaness continued on, slicing and slashing here and there; helping fellow soldiers who were about to meet their maker and saving them from the cold hand of death! Vicki writhed with passion and power, he sword strikes hallowing out the contingent forces of steel! Energy pulsed through her body and shredded lesser forms of life with little difficulty!

Explosions rang out, blowing smoke and incessant flames toward the renewed glow of our heroin. Vicki commanded her forces with valor and decadence, her very presence pushed her men forward and her foes backward. This was her calling and this is where she felt most comfortable. In the midst of an ongoing battle, not one on one with a cunning and grotesque foe.

As another robotic entity fell beneath her blade, Jordan appeared before her; his crimson orbs licked with fire, not of anger but of pride. "I see you have things handled here, I am heading to the East and helping my own forces. Meet ya in the middle, let's rue this day and slay all that have no beating heart!"

Before Vicki could reply, her master had vanished and his power quelled to the Eastern mountains. A vast explosion could be seen in the distance and bluish fire followed into the sky that rose easily over ten miles high! The Saiyaness pushed forward and ran through another explosion, bringing her blade directly over her head and slashing downward at the robot before her! The blade bit through and cut like as though it were a hot knife through butter. Sparks flung out like a firework display as the solid metal split into two! Ivory teeth flashed, as her cheeks bounced from side to side on to her next victim!

The metallic beast rose to full height, two heads emerging and taking the form of a robotic cat. It's ears had thin red line painted down the middle, perked and actively searching through the series of sounds and vibrations that echoed throughout the field of battle. It's feline voice roared vibrantly like that of the King of the jungle might, declaring its dominance over the organic uprising- stopping coalition forces within their tracks.

Garlic looked upon the transformed warrior, and smiled at the robo-cat. "How interesting, a little kitty has come out to play with the flame and tithing of the demonic herald. How interesting indeed." the knight from hell spat toward the sleek, new, warrior before him.

"Assimilate or die." It replied in a monotone voice, whipping an arm before it with electrical energies flickering to life.

The demon tilted his armored skull to the side, and then began laughing maniacally; his entire demeanor began to shake as though he were convulsing due to some systematic crash of his nervous system. As he regained control, he lifted the gauntlet to his helm and made a motion to wipe a tear from his eye. "Die, you hold no power over me. That little bit of energy formed in front of you is nothing to an immortal demon of the fiery underworld!" Garlic replied, his voice still crackling with amusement.

"Death it is." the metallic, feline, warrior replied as the flickering energy became a beam of destruction! It's furry unfurled the earth below it as it flew undoubtedly toward the object of it's desire!

Garlic Jr stood his ground, a cracking earth coming toward him, lifting his arm; showing a darkened shield with etched runes all around the circumference of it! The runes began to shine with a malicious flare; the energies striking against it- the sound were like a thousand birds singing in the cruel dead of night!

The demon was pushed back, the soil gathering behind his boots, as the force continued to try and bleed through the ancient runes donned on the magical shield Garlic wielded. A vein began to pulse upon the demon's brow, as his own energies began to swell and swirling flames began to burn a majestic green light!

"I said, you will not assimilate this immortal this day!" Garlic yelled out pushing the beam up and into the sky above. As it pierced the heavens, clouds darkened and crackling thunder heeded the carnage below. The demon smirked, beneath his helm, and took a one step, then two; soon he was at a full rush toward the feline creation as his shield magically returned to his black gauntlets.

The knight from hell pressed the attack forward, shooting a crimson bolt of fire from outstretched fingers; and as it expelled completely toward his target, they grasped the sabre that clung tightly to his waist. A dull-black blade shone toward his foe, it's shine snipped and barked at the chance of taking down the duo of metallic cats!

Garlic shimmered from sight, reappearing just before the creation in mid-flight! High above his helm the blade swung down with a ferocious desire to cleave the bot in two. As it struck, sparks flew through the air, and the demon continued to force his way down through the middle of the feline heads! Muscles bulged, veins popped vigorously, as the blade continued to cut through the metallic beast!

As the warrior's blade finally met the crust of the planet, the bot fell apart at the middle and clamored lifelessly beneath the foul demon's feet. "I told you, you would not defeat me today... Garlic began to say, turning away from the slain beast and took in the scene around him.

It was at that moment, his ears twitched with an unexpected sound of stitching thrumming within his drums. His neck craned and eyes widened as the metallic warrior began to stitch itself back to life. Garlic turned full circle, his blade in his grasp, and looked on with disbelief. The feline heads were hissing toward him, as the body rose from the crusted earth.

"I guess you have tricks eh?" Garlic replied in a, not so amused, manner. As it righted itself and began to charge, the demon took into a stance and raised his dull-black blade- flames burning brighter in accordance with his anger! "Bring it, foul machine!" he screamed, as it enclosed on his position.

Heaven and Hell Knights Meet Among Mortal-Kind

As Jordan appeared upon the field of battle a tirade of energy escaped into the heavens and destroyed the cries of battle by a silencing clap of thunder! Lightning crackled like a spider-web in the sky above, as the energy traced itself to two warriors upon the crimson-stained earth!

The half-breed's crimson orbs zoomed in on the being in clad-black armor, mystical almost, who had just rushed the foe who caused such a spike in energy and changed the very weather above. It was a dark energy that flooded toward the metallic bot, it was distinct and soaked with darkness and death- blood.

Little one, that is a demonic entity. One I have not felt before. The power within him is anything but good, and it seems to go deeper than our own reserves...as if it has been locked away from him. Sealed almost. Andrasta voiced as it had brought her forth in his mind, her own mind looking through his eyes to get a better view than just the raw senses.

There is something about him, some sort of other presence that clings to him. Its as though an innocent and righteous fire can be felt, but is overrun by the darkness that emulates from the core of the foul soul... Jordan replied quietly as he stood in the shade of the tree and watched the battle continue and the demon deal and dance with the robotic fiend.

A startling thought and realization had occurred to Andrasta and was quickly confirmed by her fused soul-mate. The shocking truth, if it was indeed true, was something they had never expected and something that would affect his student in the most detrimental of ways.

Little one, I can smell the angelic presence of Brutis clinging to him. This sort of scent only occurs when a celestial is destroyed from the very fabric of the immortal realm. It cries out to be revenged. We should investigate the demon, now! Andrasta roared angrily within the cortex of the half-breed.

Jordan's eyes flickered with hate, but his sense of logic cried out as well. The knuckles in his hand went white as he grasped on a branch and broke it with minimal effort. The splinters shattered and flew every which way, falling helplessly to the ground.

As much as it pains me to say this, but he is on the side of mortality and pushing back our enemy for the moment. Do you think both heaven and hell has sent their warriors to help ensure the metallic creations don't destroy the mortal flesh that they reside over? That for once, the enemy of my enemy is my friend...that we are allied with evil? Jordan replied, noticing a trickle of blood he incurred upon himself as a tear solemnly fell from his cheek and mixed with the painted liquid.

Andrasta roared in defiance, she were a creature of passion. Logic was something she hardly wanted to confront and only the most experienced of her kind were able to act upon with little difference in their temperament. As far as a Ryuu, she were still so young to her kin and in this she receded within her mind and farther from Jordan.

Little one, be weary of this evil... a low growl of feral tenacity could be heard and felt within his very bones. Jordan shrank slightly from her presence and then looked back to the field of battle, he would question this demon entity later. For now, his troops were fighting and they needed his presence and leadership upon the field of battle! The super elite cast himself from the shadows and into the light, into the fray, and into the hearts and minds of his beloved comrades!

Sometimes A Girl Cuts So Deep

Thundering, toned, thighs brought Vicki to her next enemy; her blade swung with merciless vindication as it continued to break and bury the pieces of scrap metal to the soil beneath her feet. The western coalition force had already pushed back the Steel Legion to their very contingency bases of operations. Vicki cried out, her war face fierce and commanding, as the charge continued onward.

Scores of: Saiyans, Avalonians, Humans, and Aliens flew past her shooting energy blasts and casting silver-edged blades into their enemies shining-dull armor. Explosions riddled the air, concussive shock waves blew debris into the air like they were being jut from a volcanoes maw. Vicki's violet eyes searched the field of battle and took in the victory she were quickly seizing. Her shameful defeat earlier that morning would be nothing more than a smudge on her campaign and duties as a Saiyaness warrior.

This victory would sate the rumors and overcome them, as no one could repress her valorous and courageous deeds shown through her voluptuous character that swung from side to side this day! Blood covered her arms, her armor was scathed and riddled with holes. Her bosom, a majority of it, could be seen with scrapes from metallic fingers clawing at her as she continued her assault. Still, she did not shy away, still she pressed forward and fought back the pain that now riddled her body once again! The troops followed her, they died for her, and by god they would now grasp glory for her!

Then it all went black, as an explosion knocked her from her "horse" and buried her into a flaming pile of debris! A gigantic machine, much like a bull, had appeared and from it's two nostrils propelled twin blasts at the speed of lightning into the female warrior! The strike was so fast, Vicki couldn't even recognize it; only the pain it had caused her as she noted a rib had seemed to puncture through her lung as it broke.

"Couldn't be this easy, eh? What's a girl gotta do to get ahead in this world?" she muttered as she struggled to her feet. One hand grabbed toward her injured side, her shining blade within her grasp as she knelt slightly onto her knee taking in sums of air to try and fight back the pain.

The Saiyaness then witnessed three of her subordinates jump in front of her. Two wielded a brute-axe and the other large sword and shield. "Are you alright mam?" one called back as the other two took off, the ones with the brute-axes, toward the raging bull.

They swung their double-edged weapons with all their might, but was swatted away by turned-torso-tail. The two collided into one another as they flew through the air and crashed into the side of another machine that was unleashing a barrage of energy blasts upon a small group of Avalonians.

"I seem to be doing better than those two." she jested, rising to full height, taking the hand outstretched before her. Her smile reassured him, as he relinquished her forearm and turned back toward the raging bull before them.

Steam seemed to rise steadily into the place above the elongated snout of the mechanical creature. It's tail continued to swoosh back and forth as it finished its turn and reset its sights upon Vicki and her subordinate. The two took a step back, as the bull took two kicks at the ground- sending a vibration and cracks outright toward the paired duo.

"How about we perform an old fashioned, double assault mixed with an Ionic Beam?" she suggested, as the bull began to take off toward them mercilessly.

"Sure, thing. I barely have enough energy to perform the latter, but will do so anyways!" the male shouted, as the two Saiyans arched in and out of each others path! From above they would look like a menacing chromosome. A DNA strand meant for battle and not the lab!

As they reached the appropriate distance, they pushed off the earth and flung their bodies into the air. Around Vicki amethyst energy flickered around both her delicate, and slender, hands; around the male a darkened purple surrounded his. Their power skyrocketed, and as they swung away from one another like a pendulum swing- they released a stream of energy toward both the eyes of the enclosing bull! At such a range, it would have a hard time evading such an attack, or so Vicki hoped.

The beam struck upon the crown of the beasts head! A fiery, and vibrant, explosion struck outright! Sending the two warriors even further apart! Vicki flipped and landed upon a knee, sliding in the dirt and slowing to a stop; as the male tumbled and lost balanced in the air and gracefully collided with organic and inorganic alike as he made his own stop.

Vicki looked toward the dissipating smoke, and the beast that now lay face first and ass up in the sky. It no longer had the swish in its mechanical tail that it was displaying mere moments before. The girl had a grin, but then collapsed to both knees, "Medic!" she cried out in a yelp as her lung condition worsened. Beads of sweat mixed with her head, as dust cropped her face and bruises continued to appear upon her flawless skin. She were pushing harder than ever before, to overcome her previous shameful defeat.

To the Victor Go the Spoils

The two, large, warriors clashed together; flames licking wildly about as the two tumbled through the dirt and feline jaws latched and sank into the demonic armor surrounding Garlic Jr. The foul cries echoed throughout the field of battle, still it carried onward. The demonic herald rolled down a cut with the feline-machine in his clutches, a whirlwind of power circulating him from within his very soul!

As the two reached the bottom of the cut, Garlic unleashed a devastating blast sending electrical currents and flames all about wildly toward the abomination that latched into his armor. The feline quickly was torn from the demon's armor and flesh and sent hurtling through the air, crashing into a multitude of trees sending branches and splinters all about. A small fire surrounded the machine as it lay there beneath the debris unable to move.

The damage it had received reached, and breeched, the core that gave it the energy to move at all. It would soon explode and take out anything within ten kilometers of it. Garlic looked toward the direction in which the robot had been flung- now he was nothing more than a small fire and plume of smoke smoldering in the distance.

"Come back from that..." Garlic whispered, taking in breathes of air as he regained his composure and looked to his shoulder where his armor had been breeched and flesh had been torn into. "I need an upgrade, perhaps..." he spat out, acidic blood burning through some alloy beneath his feet. A faint green hue flickered about his blade as his body and armor began to revert to their previous condition.

As Garlic regained some stamina he made his way back up the cut and landed just on the outskirts of the battle. He could sense a rather distinct and 'light-hearted' unbelievable power in the midst of the party. His demonic eyes looked about, until he found the half-breed from whence it came. It was different, fused, something about the being was completely different than any on the field of battle. This being's charisma empowered and inspired the soldiers around him and the enemy forces were soon being pushed back to a degree that looked to be like that of a retreat.

The demonic herald stood and watched the raven-haired boy move quickly through the masses, helping his fellow kin here and there. Sometimes, Garlic had to admit he had lost track of him through visual senses and only relied upon his senses to track him. The boy was incredibly fast, almost god-like. "Just what is he..." he muttered, as he knew this battle was over and the glory would fall upon the raven-haired warrior.

Realizing he was no longer needed in this confrontation, the demon decided to vanish from the light and escape into the darkness that was at his back. A plume of black-smoke dissipated along with the physical form of the demonic entity. Garlic traversed the land and headed for the Avalonian council to see where else they might need him. After all, he was being paid to bring about the destruction of the Steel Legion- he was sure there were other battles needing his attention. Now he just needed to know where exactly.

Bursts of sapphire energy landed upon the targets Jordan deemed worthy of selection. The half-breed relentlessly forced the opposition back, almost single-handedly. Plumes of smoke filled the air as he the super elite shimmered from existence and reappeared at the next foe. Saiyan warriors cheered, giving a loud tote of their war cries, as their fearless leader led them to the chest of victory! Glory was to be had to for their efforts upon the soil of the Avalonians.

As Jordan continued to be the harbinger of the metallic being's demise, he noticed the demon entity had already fled the area. The half-breed gave a snort and continued, flying high into the air with a robot within his clutches. As the two reached into the upper atmosphere, the frigid air began to settle deep within the droids joints and resonate with Jordan's own super-structured bones. The elite erupted into a plethora of energy, dismantling the inorganic within his fingers into a pile of ash. Flames warmed his being as he began to descend and look out upon the field of battle.

Crimson orbs locked onto three separate targets, that were giving his kin trouble, and with a fiery disposition Jordan wrenched the field of gravity around the three metallic androids and crushed them like they were no more than yesterdays garbage. The three warriors looked around for a moment, and then found their savior hovering in the warring clouds. They shouted and then continued onward.

The half-breed had hardly used any of his latent power, he were more like an onlooker than a combatant. The minions of this domain were hardly worth his time or efforts; but, seeing that he could save more lives than lost he gladly flew back into the heat of the ongoing battle. A vicious, yet graceful, warrior as he was- had already earned far more respect and bonds than he had ever thought he could in the Saiyan Empire.

As the half-breed tore through countless foes, his mind was half-distracted by the demon entity he had noticed earlier. Questions began to sift through his conscious, as he would throw another robot to the scraps, and then carry on his own conversation with Andrasta. It had been several hours of fighting when they had forced and pinned their enemy in on itself.

In the distance he could hear his student barking orders and pushing herself to her upper limits. At this time, the General, took to the back of his force and gave orders here and there but refrained from entering the battle any further. There was a limit to what his comrades would except, and if he gave any further help, their glory would be taken from them as Jordan had a power that none of them could ever attain or experience. It was better this way.

It was after a few minutes of on-looking, that Jordan's scouter chirped to life and his Lieutenant chimed in to see if he was able to reply. The super elite touched the side of his scouter, "I am fairly adept to multitasking, Lieutenant."

"Aye, sire, I meant no disrespect. It was not urgent, just informing you that we have pushed the Steel Legion from the system and are now forming a parameter around strategic points around Avalon itself."

"I see, very well, are there any bases that need clearing?" Jordan asked quickly.

"Aye, the Avalonians have said they can handle it and asked for us to help their space fleet sire."

"Very well. Prepare for a lavish celebration, for today our troops have earned a lush and tasty meal."

"Aye aye sire."

"Oh, and Lieutenant." Jordan said quickly before the communication link was cut.

"Yes, ma' Lord?"

"Good job today. Make sure you break out the best of ales and finest of wines. Expect this celebration to take place in no more than four hours from this point. As I expect that is when we will be on board the ship."

"Yes SIR!" the lieutenant replied in an excited and proud-filled manner.

Jordan just grinned as the scouter transformed back to no more than an ear piece stationed within his ear. It was quite fascinating the technology that existed in today's world. The display and helmet would only come forth when needed. Although it took a second or two to transform- it was still rather nifty.

"Sire, Lady Vicki has closed in on the remaining robots. It is time..." a communication sergeant voiced toward the half-breed who was raveled in an ivory cloak.

"Aye. Thank you Sergeant." Jordan replied and began to walk through the ranks and toward the explosions in the distance. As he made his way shouts of encouragements and proud expressions slammed into his psyche as well as his own person. The half-breed just smiled, and continued toward his student; Vicki had done quite well in erasing some of the shame she had brought just earlier that day. For tonight they would all feast to the Glory of the Empire and to heroes of the day.

Work Hard, Play Hard

An Avalonian female, with snow-white hair and soft-yellow eyes, came to the Saiyaness' side and placed her hands upon her brow. "Be still, this will take a moment to find out what your ailments are..." the girl said softly as explosions continued to ring out, and cries of pain along with them.

Vicki could feel, what felt like, a mental probe by the alien female. Her presence, felt somewhat akin to Andrasta when the ancient dragon had communicated her (although rarely did that ever happen). As soon as her mind had been breeched the feeling ceased. To Vicki's amazement, the girl's hands were already moving to her side and feeling the broken bone that had pierced the lung cavity. The Saiyaness writhed in pain, and as she took a piece of debris and stuck it between her ivory-plated teeth, the girl began to work her 'magic'.

A loud shrill of agony seemed to fill the air and momentarily paused the battle that was in progress. It took only three minutes for the Avalonian to heal her of the wounds that were mortal. As Vicki could feel her life was no longer threatened she shoved off the ground and patted the stranger on the shoulder and insisted she were fine.

"Very well...stubborn Saiyan." the girl muttered, another crying out catching her attention, and then she was off.

Violet orbs watched her leave and her temper quailed slightly remembering the female alien had just healed her of a mortal wound. "Thanks..." the Saiyaness mouthed a barely audible reply to the fleeting medic. It was then that her renewed sense of vitality took hold and pushed her to the forward ranks of her troops.

A tenacious blade and fluttering hair were the last bits of information processed by Vicki's metallic foes. No more machines, to the caliber of the raging bull, had surfaced and they were now pressing their enemy on their 'heels'. The commander continued barking out orders as her aura flared about wildly, showcasing her entire amount of power.

The warring clouds continued to clap in admiration for the girl from Earth, turned Saiyan overnight. Lightning exonerated her girlish figure and curves that would put any hour glass to shame. The vast number of explosions that were upon the field of battle, was no where near the amount of "boom" she could introduce to one's life.

"Come on my brothers! Let us finish this onslaught and grasp the glory of this battle! Let the Avalonians sing our songs and tales forever more, and let this be the moment where our strength and battle prowess prove to be the best among all sentient life forms! Destroy the plight of metal!" the luscious girl yelled out; the masses of Saiyans responding in a feral roar!

As the last robot fell to an Avalonian knight; a stream of blood pooled upon the crust below at Vicki's feet. The young girl had received a nice surgical-style gash along the side of her unblemished rib. It was while she were tending to it, her violet orbs met with that of her masters. "Sir--." she began to say, but the super elite pressed a finger to her lips and shook his head.

He then proceeded to speak of the valiant efforts and gave orders to secure the order and destroy whatever parts still 'sparked' with life. Vicki was told to see a medic and return to the ship along with the rest of their forces. The Avalonians spoke up and stated they would secure the area with their own troops and thanked the countless Saiyans of their help. By the time the sun began to set, Vicki and her troops were well on their way to the Adalricus high in the heavens and orbiting around the planet of Avalon.

The Saiyaness was surrounded by men and women, recounting her heroic deeds and telling her of their own and others countless acts that resounded and reverberated across the field of battle! Jordan just sat quietly on board and nodded proudly at the stories of glory. Vicki and her master continued to enjoy the embrace of their kin and glad the days events were over.

Paladin Courtesy, Dictates the Removal of a Soul

"With this war drawing to a close, we should recalculate the mercenaries that we are financing on the various fronts of our armada. With the Steel forces being pushed back to their origins, we hardly need the help of the barbarian brutes for hire." A slender Avalonian, older, male voiced out among the court in which he headed.

"Do you really think that is wise, who knows when a war like this should come to a halt? Perhaps we should keep them on for at least the next three months...?" another, fatter, Avalonian male replied to the head of the court.

At this moment, Garlic emerged from the shadows and walked toward the center of the secular table. The demonic herald bore a grin, ivory teeth flashing for but a moment in amusement, "So you reward those who have put their lives on the line with nothing but a pat on the back? Tsk Tsk...you would think such a figurehead would learn from an, expansive, history of warfare."

The gathered members did not seem surprised of the demon's presence and dismissed his voice for but a moment. They all seemed to recollect their emotions and rephrase what would've been more blatantly acceptable by members of their own race. Now they had to deal with another mercenary from a star in which they had no real information about other than it housed serpentine lineage of the ancients.

It was rumored that an entirely new race had been born into this realm, when they should have been burned instead. The speculation was one that happened centuries before any of the members gathered were even born, but something that was still some-what fresh within Garlic's mind. Still, the council continued as the demonic knight leaned upon a pillar.

"You have had more than a King's fortune given to you for your aide in this conflict of worlds Garlic Jr. Have you any discourse with this council?" the slender, more conniving, Avalonian spoke in reply to the teal-devil.

"I have received that and more, I am just speculating on the behalf of the more...gracious mercenaries I have met in the bottomless holes from whence they had surfaced from. Quite a feat, to surface from a bottomless hole, no?" the demon replied in certain riddle.

A forefinger and thumb came to the temples of the slender figurehead as he took a sigh and wafted toward the demon, "We shall see that everyone has received proper disbursement for their efforts. Now, will you please excuse us as we have more pressing matters to attend to than to entertain the prospect of such a curious visitor."

Garlic smirked, but nodded and disappeared altogether; into the shadows he resided and stayed. No form of technology could find him, for he was one with the night and keeper of darkness itself. The junior continued to listen to the nefarious plans of the council and simply laughed at their mortal take on things. It was the reason they had been so easily pushed back to begin with.

As the meeting adjourned, the demonic herald found his way out and to the top of a steeple. Teal orbs looked out among the city, fires burning along the perimeter keeping darkness at bay. The sentries looked exhausted, as did the people who circulated below on the streets. It used to be a bustling city, with immigrants and aliens visiting for the technology alone. Now it was a place riddled with the propagation of war and the ailments that followed such a thing.

"Perhaps it is time to be free of this planet and it's dull people. Maybe a more frozen area would be nicer to collect a few more souls for the armies of hell..." Garlic whispered into the wind and retreated to his own warship that lay cloaked in the upper atmosphere of the sky.

"Open sesame." The demonic herald voiced out as he pushed a button upon the side of his scouter. A sly wind unveiled the cloak that kept the hull hidden from view, and the door seemed to magically open to the hovering warrior. Garlic grinned and entered into the vast, silent-running, ship.

"Welcome back sire, I have an updated report of the planet's status." the ship's A.I. voiced as the warlock continued his way toward the bridge of his illustrious and battle-hardened vessel.

"Very well, let's have it. I want the four sectors displayed upon four different screens before me. Only highlight pertnant information, such as remaining Steel Legion forces and the losses of both Avalonians and Saiyans. Also, I need a cross-reference with all known information on this warrior here..." Garlic replied, placing his scouter on the side of his chair on a docking station. As it docked, a link to the device began to show a series of images, "That being there, the raven-haired one next to the female Saiyan".

A picture of the half-breed projected itself in the middle of the four scrolling walls of text before the teal-eyed devil. Along with it, was a plethora of information that the Avalonians had collected and some shared information given by the empire of the Saiyan regime.

"Jordan...a mere mortal has attained such power? I must know more, continue to see if you are able to find out his origins and known whereabouts for the last three years. Make a report and ensure all viable information is in it. I am off to rest for a bit, these reports are sloppy. Clear em up." Garlic replied, plucking a grape from a gaudy bowl and throwing it into his mouth.

As the ship complied, Garlic took himself to his quarters for a nap. It would be several hours before it would compile the information he demanded correctly, and he needed a reprieve to clear his mind and think of the next course of action to be had. To stay, or to leave...

Smoldering Flames, Give Rise to a New Age

Plumes of smoke filled the nostril of our noble hero as he finally reached his student and surrounding warriors, whom were shouting cries of victory over the smoldering androids. Through the smoke he could filter out the distinct smells of: blood, metal, and burning; it was an odd mixture, as most battles of this large scale were only ever filled with blood and burns.

As the crowd were finally able to contain their victorious cries, his student had finally noticed him. Her violet orbs locked onto his crimson eyes and was about to speak; Jordan quickly raised a finger to her lips and shook his head. There were no need for her to speak formally, for this was an occasion that earned the right of the soldiers to have their day.

"The gods clap for all you men and women. You have brought glory to your surnames and will forever be remembered for such valiant and courageous acts this day. As the sun sets beyond the horizon, this day will forever be etched in the minds of our ally's and be sung in their great halls as the sun will surely continue to rise and fall." Jordan let the words linger for a moment before he continued on.

"Tonight, we feast, in our own great warships that circle above! I have ordered the best ale and wines be brought out and the most lavish of meals be provided aboard the great dining hall aboard my flagship, the Adalricus! Get to your pods and let us celebrate this victory with cheerful cries of victory and recollection of your mighty acts! That is an order!" Jordan finished, and the troops erupted into a ferocious roar of approval!

When the crowd died down once more, the leader of the Avalonian forces, spoke up, "Your General is correct, this days events shall be sung and forever remember in our halls and homes. The brutish stereotype, of the Saiyan race, has fallen into the smoldering flames upon this field of battle. You have proven that your kind doesn't only seek out war, but can fight along side the tyrannical forces that live among us. I will ensure this section of Avalon remains free, that our hard work will not have been in vein. Go to your ship and enjoy the night."

Another eruption of cheers sang out, and Jordan briefly stood to talk with the Avalonian warrior. As they closed their conversations, the two bowed slightly to one another and Jordan returned next to his student and fellow kin. The group found their way into a pod and flew up toward the Adalricus; where soon they would feast upon a great meal in honor of the victory grasped this day.

Beauty of the Ball

A slight 'rockin' of the ship made the Saiyaness reach for an, "oh shit", handle as it landed inside the bay of the flag ship of her master. Her violet orbs locked onto Jordan's for a moment and then followed the line toward the exit, "Will you be attending this celebration as well, master?" she voiced back to Jordan who followed behind her.

Jordan gave his reply and smiled to his student; suddenly he vanished and the girl was left alone with the rest of the Brigade of troops who were making their way to each individual quarters they were given aboard the ship. This celebration would mean to be in dress-uniform, not battle attire. Vicki blushed, forgetting that her master disappeared, and walked quickly to her own room to get ready for such a celebratory ball.

Steam raised, fogging the glass window, as the Saiyaness stepped beneath the showerhead. Beads of water soaked into her silk-like hair and down the course of her bruised body. Over and under the curvaceous structure, soap soaked into her pores as she scrubbed and washed herself from the stains of war. It wasn't blood from her foes, as much as it was from her own body. It was the first time, in a long while, that a war was not flesh into flesh- but flesh against metal.

After an hour of washing, the girl placed her foot on the soft reprieve of the carpet and reached out for the towel to cover her naked body. Vicki raised a hand and wiped the mirror free of the fog, and began to put on her various bits of make up. The transformation easily gave rise to her assets and piercing violet eyes. As her make up was finished, the girl put on a corset with a mantle hooking in at the shoulder-straps. Her bosom was pushed together where the cleavage would entice any 'holy' man or monk. The curves of her body flowed eloquently and evenly; as her toned muscles were slender and sleek, befitting a woman of her age.

The thong she wore fit nicely between her apple-cheeks, and the skirt she wore fell gently just above her mid-thigh. Three-inch heels adorned her feet, and gave her smooth, freshly-shaven, legs a glow about them that would certainly take any man's anger and cast it aside. Vicki curled her hair and let it fall before her, resting upon her bust.

At last, she were ready, and made her way down the corridors and into the great dining hall of the Adalricus. Vicki's tail was fastened around her waist, finely groomed and brushed, wanting to swish about wildly as her temperament was one of joy and excitement. Her smile would take away any breath from any soldier that was walking in their own dress-uniform. Of course, for female-soldiers, they were opted to choose from a formal dress or dress-uniform to don in the case of such an event. Vicki liked the formal dress that accented her femininity. She could feel a mass of eyes lock onto her as she entered into the joyous event, the Saiyaness rather liked the attention.

Mercenary Ties Cut, Search for Power Continues

After a revitalizing nap, Garlic rose from his bed and stretched his body; "Ship, have you finished with the last order I gave?" the teal-eyed devil asked as he wrapped a cloak around his body to cover its naked-form.

"Negative, only seventy-seven percent complete." it replied emotionless and devoid of any shame.

"Remind me to give you an update, any word from the Avalonians or any relevant news?"

"Negative, the surface has been quiet and so has the system that lay beyond the atmosphere."

"I see, well continue on about your business, I will be meditating...do not disturb me, unless it the circumstance is dyer." the demon voiced as he walked through his door and down the corridor to the meditation chambers. As he walked in, the candle-light, was dim and low and only producing enough light to see where a soft and cushy pad lay upon the floor.

Garlic walked over to it and took up his meditative position; clearing his mind of all conscious and reaching into the fabric of time and space to begin his search for the next course he was to take. A plethora of light greeted him as he found himself in the center of all creation. Tendrils of energy clawing at his attention, both light and dark energies.

Whatever it was he was searching for had yet to catch his attention; however, he did find a Saiyaness' energy he recognized from the previous battle and decided to press upon her psyche with his own mental prowess.

"Your master cares not for you, he only jumped into that fray for meager satisfaction. The blood-lust that runs through his veins are both inherited and transfused. A part of him will never care for your weakness, it would be best if you just stopped being a slave and come to me, betray him with all his secrets and come to me my dear..." Garlic's voice whispered upon the winds of the dream world of the unconscious Vicki.

The female stood her ground, her determination and will prevalent and fought back with words of fire and indomitable spirit. Still Garlic attempted again, molding the world into a mixture of memories and contorted to try and bend her resolve to broken. Still the female continued to fight back, blast after blast- and to his surprise, she even found him among the darkness.

Teal eyes flickered before the Saiyaness, Vicki, as she grabbed his collar and threw him out of her domain. The will she possessed was more than formidable and her mental defenses were something to be praised. Garlic found himself tumbling back into the center of the universe as his attempt utterly failed.

If you are looking for the next place in which your journey is headed, you need to look no further than the ancient world of Namek. It is there you will find a rather changing persona who will help guide your way to unlocking the power that is latent within you...

The demonic herald opened his eyes wide, quickly, and remained quiet for a moment as the voice in the serene place was all too familiar. Motherly, almost. "Computer, set a course for Namek. We are to be headed there by tomorrow evening. Is that clear?"

"Yes sire."

Garlic seemed pleased and rose from the soft pillow he had been meditating upon. The lights grew brighter and the warrior exited the chambers, heading down the corridor and toward the bridge of the ship. He had hoped that while he was meditating, that the ship had formulated everything he had asked for. If not, he planned on doing some more digging about the ancient relic that he had found a couple weeks earlier.
