“His creations are sought after by the highest amounts of power at all times. Aria fell prey to the feeling of her power. It is all because of what she was capable of. She was carefully designed with the purpose of giving birth to flawless bio-engineered versions of herself. They would, in-turn, be able to do the same thing; Aria was built to exponentiate. Rangurumatum was no fool. He wanted to build an army, and he made sure to have one key element to that army; commanders who were completely flawless.

“Who would not follow a woman?”

Of course the answer to that varied. It was not a sure thing; it was said that a woman in leadership would cause many downfalls. It was against his genetics to create a woman; he was a Namekian. Aria was special. She was the daughter of the only woman that caught his attention. Even if he could not mate with her, or express the same love a man could to a woman, he always felt the closeness between Kayla and himself. But, enough. Aria’s backstory meant nothing now. Anna opened her weary eyes and peaked outside of the window of Revan’s ship. It had been so long since she had seen Earth; almost a full month or so now.

She held up the neat threads which could bound the fate of anything together and she smiled; it was that and the burritos which Revan and herself were rewarded with while on Maverick. Knowing of Blair was something as well, and she had not the time to dwell on it like she did during their ride home. There were words which really bothered the artificial saiyan girl and Blair did push the right buttons while speaking about her.

“Am I really just using Revan? What if my make and design was to be like this? Fate? Design? I had a dream about Revan. I found him. He followed me.” But she was selfish. She would admit the feeling of wrong, but it could never feel any more correct to her to have him there. It was more than just protection after all. With her head barely over her arms, she looked over toward her laptop. Browsing her desktop she would see a plethora of games; these were the games they played. Star bound, Warcraft 3, Destiny, and so many more random games such as Risk and Monopoly.

She pushed herself up and stretched. Below her were a stretch of mountains and forests; Earth was so beautiful when it lacked people to look at.

<span style='font-family:Lucida Sans Unicode'>Her eyes widened, but her mouth remained closed and stagnant. Has it really been 4 units so far? No. There were more, it would just only pick up the nearest ones. For every one unit she connected to her personal network, they were tasked with connecting the rest of them. It was better that way for Anna. All she would need to do was travel the universe to find more units that were out of reach. She finally allowed a grin to appear on her face. Anna walked toward her room in the ship, being in the living area where the TV and couches were, and she found comfort with continueing the view from that ship’s window.

She could see a city up ahead, and it was most likely the same one they lived in. It looked so familiar, yet at the same time it looked so foreign from where the ship was. Earth has been through the crisis of Steel Legion, and because of that robots had been taken a bit of backlash; she could only think of how her brothers and sisters were adapting; no, her sons and daughters. She closed her eyes as that thought crossed her mind.

“Am I Aria? Or am I Anna?”

Another dilemna for her to face; identity. She had the ability to change her appearance at will, and she gave that programming to the RBC Units she connected to so that they could hide in plain sight as well; it had bred problems with her really figuring out who she was though. Revan most notably knew her as a brown haired girl who was quite short, when in actuality she was this pink haired girl who was about the same height as he was.

The pink hair would also remind her of how much she looked like her mother; someone she only had moments to grow up with in Steel Legion’s Headquarters. Her parents, the ones she knew as her parents then, didn’t have much time with her, but to an android time was just a plaything. With her eyes opening she found herself paying more attention to the reflection in the window instead of the approaching city.

“I want to meet Chishan.”

They were told to hide, and it was not difficult at all to understand why they were told this. Anna had brought them back to working order, but doing so had given them all the information they needed about the fall of Steel Legion and what happened to put them in this situation.

“He didn’t care about us. He wanted to use us as an example and a nightmare.” His hair was long and black. He wore a trenchcoat and kept his hands in his pocket. He was a series 2 unit in disguise. “Unit 8134, why are you so content with your life now?”

Next to him was a girl. She had pink hair and green eyes; it was like she was trying to mirror Anna’s appearance. She looked up to him and shrugged. “At-least we have life right now. Emotions too. I barely remember what my life was like back before I was turned into a robot. I’d rather not remember, especially with these emotion things we have now 2409. I think we should get names like the rest of them. Here in East City, it would be difficult if we went by our model numbers.”

2409 shrugged. They were both sitting at the corner between two streets with cars blurring by on one side. People were passing them by, unsuspected of these two droids; they looked just like humans anyway. Mixed in with the humans were saiyans and the like; this planet was owned by the Empire now. The units had no comment on that; a life is a life no matter who was in control. Both of their eyes ticked with information; they were hacking into databases.

“Okay, looks like I am Gina Fairwest.” The girl unit, now known as Gina looked up to the other unit. He looked down.

“Dean Fairwest. So what are we doing now?”

“I’m getting a job. I’d rather make money the right way, and build character that way.” She smiled with her eyes closing and he only sighed in annoyance.

“Only you, Gina. Only you.” Both their eyes widened and they gave off a stale stare into the other side of the street.

“Oh? Princess Anna wants to meet Chishan. I guess we will be on the look out for him while we are here.” Gina looked down as she remembered who Chishan was.

“Yes. I do want to meet the one that killed Father Unit.” Dean pulled his hand out of his pocket and stared at it for a moment. How would they feel about their father being killed? Even after he disconnected them; they shouldn’t feel the need to get revenge.

[align=center]But there was still a small part of them that still viewd the man as their father. Rondown only wanted what was best for them at all times. Even Anna still felt that way, and thus is was not a surprise for Dean to feel this way. The EDF took away his pain. What good was it to give it back?

It was her being, her existence, which dominated Revan's thoughts, fading sometimes as if it would melt into the mist of the forgotten, reviving again with an intensity which filled him with an incomprehensible longing. Ever since the meeting with Blair, Revan was seeing with different eyes. Had she cast aside the fictitious self that Anna assumed like a garment with which to appear to the world? Why was Revan still here?

Everyday it was harder and harder to convince himself that he followed Anna around out of the goodness in his heart. How arrogant was it to think he was a hero? So far there had only been two occasions that Revan needed to protect Anna, and on one of those occasions, he failed miserably. The other was just sheer luck his hand could absorb the Drive. Revan had so much power, but if only he had a little bit more.... No. That was always the case, wasn't it? It didn't matter how much power he had or how much more he acquired, there was always someone just inches out of his grasp.

And so the Drive was just a gift to torture him with the bitter conviction that he had been denied that which he wished for. It had been like this all week; no matter what he distracted himself with, Anna would appear inside his mind. Was it her way of subconsciously controlling him? Was it an infatuation? Was it his primal instincts forcing him to deal with the problem? Before he knew it, his legs took him over to where Anna was.

“I don’t know whether I like you or not," Revan blurted out to the girl with a confused look. He didn't know if they were even friends, really. If their relationship was nothing more than her programming feeding Revan's ego, then were they friends? Even if they didn't know about it? He didn't even realize they had landed on Earth. Part of him knew it; but his brain must have decided it wasn't important, and stuffed it down to the bottom of a very long list.
