Fighting this legendary creature would be foolish. Your best course of action would be to seek out who originally sealed Entai so many years ago. These priests will not likely speak freely. The man who kneeled before the Dark Prince gasped for breath as his life blood slowly seeped from numerous wounds all across this body. The straight blade on his scythe had suddenly been leveled towards the man’s throat which caused him to take shallow breaths or risk opening yet another wound. It had been foolish to mistake a Saiyan warrior for easy pickings and not just any Saiyan warrior either. This fool had chosen the Prince of all Saiyans as his mark which ended up with him on his knees and his immediate surroundings soaked red with his blood.

Use your last breath to speak your last words and I will carve them into your carcass for all to see,” the Dark Prince suddenly said. The weight behind his words hit the man like a truck which caused him to collapse to the ground and he began to sob uncontrollably. Through the broken words the man managed to get out between the gasps for air the Dark Prince had gained insight into what had transpired. In most situations like this Vegeta would have simply ended this wretch’s life with naught but a single swipe of his blade… but one thing uttered by this man had held his judgment at bay.

The mention of a powerful power that had awakened and that had, even at that very moment, started to lay waste to everything in its path had caught the Dark Prince’s interest. So there was such a being upon a world like this? This might actually prove to be a challenge. That is if he proved to be lucky. He quickly pressed a small button on the side of his scouter as he sent out a brief message.

This is Prince Vegeta to any Saiyan within range. I have stumbled upon an excellent opportunity to test our strength. If anyone is interested gather at the location I will transmit now,” the Dark Prince said before he sent his location using typical Saiyan encryptions to ensure the information did not fall into the wrong hands. The man sat up and gasped. “You intend to fight the demon? You can’t! Only a fool with face the creature and di,” the man started to say but was cut off as he began to gargle on his own blood. The spear-like tip of Vegeta’s scythe had pierced through the man’s throat which was swiftly withdrawn.

The Dark Prince did not move to finish the man off and instead let him choke on his own blood as he released his grip upon the bladed weapon and allowed it to burst into black flames before returning to whatever dark place it originated from. He silently pondered if anyone would answer his call. It was not like he felt any need to have assistance on this fortuitous day. However, he was on occasion willing to share in potential combat that was worth his time. “I can wait a few minutes. It will not change the outcome this day regardless,” he muttered as he sat down upon the still warm corpse of the man who had perished only moments before.

The Saiyan blood within his veins and the warrior spirit within him began to seethe with an intense form of excitement. Slight indentions in the cloth like armor along his arms began to form as his grip began to tighten. When was the last time he had felt this excited? The Dark Prince could not rightly say. Which could only mean it had been quite some time which began to raise doubts within his mind in regards to the wisdom of sharing this knowledge with another Saiyan.

What would happen if they decided to capitalize on all the glory there was to find in this battle? The Dark Prince spat upon the ground before a low beep served as a momentary distraction. After he had pressed the small button on the side of his scouter his gruff voice flowed into the scouter’s receiver. “What is it,” he said with a hint of annoyance detectable in his tone. It was a hint that the person on the other end quickly picked up on. “Prince Vegeta. We have had an incident aboard the ship that we will need to address,” the voice said suddenly.

It will require that we exit the Earth’s atmosphere and take up an orbiting pattern,” the voice went on to say. What could have possibly happened to cause such a necessity? The Dark Prince pondered for a few moments but quickly pushed such thoughts aside. He did not want to be distracted by this… not now. Not when he was on the eve of filling the exhilaration that accompanied the sweet taste of victory when he looks down upon his opponent as they lay broken and bloody.

His gaze slowly drifted to the corpse which he currently sat upon. The hint of a smirk marred his calm visage as the right corner of his mouth began to curl upward. “Prince Vegeta,” the voice asked hesitantly. His mind snapped back into focus as he silently cursed his sudden loss of concentration. He had nearly forgotten that he was currently on a live line of communication. “Do whatever you need to do to end the issue. Do not disturb me again. I left someone in charge for a reason. Disturb me again and whatever reason you had will pale in comparison to what I will do to you,” the Dark Prince said as he disconnected the transmission without prompt by depressing the small button.

He let out a low growl. Of course his crew would have some form of problem in a situation like this. Was anyone going to answer his damn offer? If so then he hoped they decided not to leave him waiting. If it took too long then the Dark Prince fully intended to set off on his own and crush this creature like the insignificant insect that it was. He doubted he would even break a sweat in the process.

The Saiyan Inferno
The lights inside the lab blinked once and then hummed as they came to life.

Inside the doorway stood two figures; Chishan and Apio. The Lightning Lord led the advance into the room, moving slowly to the center table and around it. His finger extended from his left hand as he circled the pale white stand, sliding across the smooth surface. With a low beep, the digital grid appeared across the glass and displayed an empty space, ready and waiting for the saiyan to input a new design inside of it.

The younger brother stepped up to the other side and dropped a long metal shaft onto the table, causing it to vibrate. It looked like a regular piece of metal, nearly three feet long. Its surface was plain and smooth, except for one small section that had been carved out. In the empty hole had been placed a small button, just about the size of a thumb. And at the end, three rings had been welded as a decoration around the outside of the top while the very end was concaved. Nothing sat on the inside.

“So you’re saying that this thing is some kind of…energy pike?” Chishan asked, looking over the shaft.

“Absolutely. I saw your friend Roland get skewered onto it; it nearly took my head off a bunch of times. That Lost warrior was quite the brute.” The younger brother said, crossing his arms over his chest. “I still think it was foolish to let the other one go.”

“Believe it or not, it was Roland that convinced me to release him. He believed that the lesson had been learned by Hodr. He also claimed he would never bother the Earth again. I’m inclined to believe him.” The other saiyan said, running his hand along the pole’s surface.

“Why?”

He looked up at his brother. “I checked his mind. He was telling the truth.” And then his gaze returned to the weapon in front of him. Slowly he brought his thumb up to the button and pushed in on it, hearing it click. As his finger pulled back, he looked down to the end in hopes of seeing the energy blade he had heard so much about.

But nothing happened.

“I tried the same thing. Maybe I busted it up when I teleported with it.” The younger saiyan said.

Chishan shook his head. “I don’t think so. Look at the grooves on the button.” He said, pointing at it.

Apio leaned in and squinted, trying to see. He could barely make out the circular lines that seemed to make up the entire surface of the button. “What about them?”

“Well, it looks like a fingerprint, don’t you think?”

Apio’s brow furrowed and he scoffed. “A fingerprint? Are you telling me that this thing is locked if I don’t have the right thumb? That’s a buzz kill. That Lost’s thumb was vaporized when he engaged his self-destruct button.” The sibling grumbled, annoyance flashing on his features.

The Saiyan Inferno chuckled. “Don’t get so angry just yet. There may be a few things I can do to help.” And as he spoke, he slid his finger along the surface of the table. A small menu popped up on the digital surface, displaying eight buttons. He quickly tapped the top most one on the right, causing it to flash a dull gray.

The entirety of the table rumbled and began to extend to the sides, revealing extensions that were hidden underneath its center. The smooth pieces of metal and glass continued to expand until the entirety of the staff was resting on a hard surface. Then the digital grid’s lines flashed a bright green and began to move, sliding down from one end of the pike to the next in a slow, grueling process. Once it had been completed, the table returned to its normal idle state. Chishan took hold of the haft and pulled the weapon from his table, handing it back to its new owner.

“What the hell was that?” Apio asked.

“A digital scan. The table generated x-rays to see the components inside the shaft and create a working render inside the ship’s database.” The older one explained as he brought up the digital table again and pressed a different button. A small whir from above them and the image of a line began to appear in the space between the table and the ceiling. No, it wasn’t some line. It was a digital render of the pike, outlined in blue grid lines. “Breaking apart the actual weapon without having an advanced idea of what we’re doing could damage, maybe even utterly destroy it. And based on your tone, it sounds like you want to be able to use it. So this gives me a version of it that I can pull apart and analyze. Then when I’m satisfied with my level of understanding, I can work on tinkering with it to make it work for you.”

“That sounds like a lot of technobabble to me.” The younger brother remarked. Clearly what the older sibling had said went right over his head.

“Trust me, this is the best manner of doing this.” The saiyan’s hand reached out and wrapped around the hilt of the pike. As he pulled his arm back, the holographic image moved with him, as if he had actually taken hold of it.

“Son of a bitch. That’s remarkable.” Apio said, awe-struck.

“You clearly have to come watch me work more if you think this is the extent of remarkable.” Chishan quipped as he brought his other arm up and took hold of the other end of the pike. Then both his hands twisted in opposing directions, unscrewing the digital projection right in the middle. With a tug on either side, he pulled it into two separate parts.

He looked inside each piece, his eyes narrowed and calculated. He didn’t speak anymore, intently focused on the task at hand. Apio knew better than to distract him now; he was in the zone. He had seen small snippets of his brother working and it had always amazed him. Saiyans weren’t known for their technological knowledge, rather they were more known for their willingness to adapt other civilization’s tech into their own. Hell, the scouters and the pods they used for transport were all originally designed by the Tuffles. Nonetheless, there were few scientists in the Saiyan Empire that were determined to improve and create new pieces of technology for their fellow warriors. No doubt if Chishan were to have any other job other than a warrior, he would be one of the finest engineers in the Empire.

The Lightning Lord hummed behind closed teeth as he put the two pieces back together. He ‘placed’ the weapon in front of him once more, floating in the air before both of their eyes. He didn’t let go of the weapon though; instead, he placed his fingers against its surface as if he were holding dials. Then he expanded his fingers and the weapon broke apart, its outer metallic surface flying off and the inner workings coming up for all to see.

Hidden behind the steel plating were a number of small pieces that most likely formulated the plasma blade. To the untrained eyes of Apio, they simply looked like a bunch of metal, plastic and other polymers. But to the Saiyan Inferno, he was beginning to understand.

“So it does create a plasma blade…” He mumbled to himself, surprised. It wasn’t as if he didn’t believe Apio’s statements, it was more astonishing that a plain rod such as this could produce such a high-density blade of pure plasma.

“I think I’m beginning to understand.” He said as he took hold of the digital version of the button and pulled it up to his face. In the digital rendering, he could clearly see the lines that made up a thumbprint. He pulled his fingers apart and the button expanded to the size of his palm, showing the edges further. “Each weapon is crafted for a particular warrior. Their thumbprint is grafted right onto the metal but that’s more a sign of showmanship. There are small sensors underneath the button that scan the DNA of the wielder and, if it’s the rightful owner, allow it to be used. It’s a bit like a safety on a gun…just a genetically encoded safety. It’s very advanced engineering.”

“So we have to change the sensors to recognize my fingerprint?” The younger brother asked.

Chishan shook his head. “That would be fairly complicated. I have no idea how Lost wiring and systems work. If I attempt to take it apart, I could damage it for good. No, I think it might be better to remove the lock entirely and reroute it so the button works for everyone.”

“So you mean if I get disarmed, someone will be able to use it against me? I don’t think the Lost had that in mind.”

The older saiyan rolled his eyes. “The only way I could fix this to the exact specs is if Hodr was still around. But since he has left the planet and left no means of communicating him, it’s safe to say that I’ll have to do the best I can.” He explained, shooting his brother a look. “And don’t get disarmed. That’s sloppy.”

Apio scoffed. “Do you need anything from me here or can I get some training done while you work?”

He nodded. “You can go. This will take some time to analyze all the parts. But make sure to drop in-…”

His scouter beeped loudly, as a message came in. His eye snapped to the signal’s signature. It was a saiyan signal of course, one used for close range messages. He couldn’t tell who it was coming from; the channel was not one he had heard before. He tapped the accept button and let the message play.

His blood nearly chilled. It was the Dark Prince, asking for any saiyans willing to take on a challenge. It had been quite some time since Chishan had seen or heard from the man, not since their battle on Amenbo Island. No doubt he had gone back to Vegeta-sei to take care of the royal dealings in their Empire. But now he was back.

He noticed that Apio had gotten the message as well. Their gaze met.

“Looks like I’ll have to put this project on hold for the moment.” He said quickly.

“Really? You’re going to take part in this?”

“The last time I worked with the prince, I came face to face with Rondown. It did indeed prove to be a challenge, one that helped me better myself for the final battle. If he’s found something else, I have no doubt that it could fortuitous as well. Besides, I always find I can work better on projects if I’m training.” He said, moving past his brother and out the door. The other saiyan followed.

“Well then maybe I should come with you.” He said, keeping pace with his brother.

“No offense Apio, but this is Prince Vegeta we’re talking about. While you have respect as a Second-Class warrior from my crew, that doesn’t follow suit with the rest of the ranks. And I know you; prince or not, you won’t have a problem giving him lip if he treats you wrong. I don’t want an issue to arise that doesn’t need to happen. Besides, you said that you had to train with Monica in twenty minutes anyways.” During his long-winded speech, he had made his way to the bridge. Their interchange caught the attention of the crew around them, though they didn’t ask what the subject matter was.

The younger saiyan rolled his eyes. “Fine.” He stopped following near the door. “Tell the Prince I say hey.”

The Lightning Lord smirked over his shoulder. “Sure.” As Apio moved through the door again, most likely to his training session in the gravity chamber, the captain of the vessel stopped near the communications hub and quickly tapped his fingers onto the digital keyboard. His scouter quickly uploaded the channel to the ship’s systems and he brought it up on the screen in front of him, preparing a return message.

“Prince Vegeta, this is Super Elite Chishan. I’ve received your message and await your location transmission as soon as possible.”

Now time will only tell what…opportunity Vegeta had discovered.

Chishan? I remember you. You were there upon my return to Vegeta when that incident occurred. This is good. From what I remember you are a formidable warrior. I will transfer the coordinates now so we can discuss this opportunity face to face,” the Dark Prince said. The data began to transfer across the connection before he promptly ended the transmission. With the sudden need to do something to occupy himself until the super elite arrived left the Dark Prince a little at odds. His gaze slowly took in his surroundings as he sought some form of life.

He was met with both disappointment and earnest surprise when he saw nothing moving… not even the small creatures that scurried about. What were they called on this planet? He pondered over that thought for several moments before he remembered they were called mice. This revelation did not really surprise him. The deadly display of force he had just occurred would have been enough to dissuade anyone in the area from revealing themselves. It was just as well. It was not a good idea to walk near a bored Saiyan anyway. It tended to be hazardous to one’s health after all.

Idly his fingers sought out the small pouches that lined his waist. He had to do something to focus his mind during his wait. A quick inventory of his gear might prove wise in this situation as well. The small pouch that contained the strange little beans that seemed to contain very potent energy that would revitalize most wounds when consumed. Several syringes of luminescent teal liquid were revealed when he opened a small case on his left hip. A quick count was all that was required before he shut it once more.

It only took a few moments to wrap up the list of items he kept on him in most situations. It was his motto to always be prepared for battle. That is he was always prepared even if he happened to be stark naked and in the shower. Armor and weapons were but luxuries in a battle after all. All a true Saiyan needed when it came down to it was his fists… his feet… and the destructive force that dwelled within each one. That energy, commonly known as ki, was what one measured their potential by. The more ki you had the more destructive you could be.

However, the quantity of energy was not always what determined the outcome of a battle. In most situations it came down to skill and experience after all. Granted being able to alter the very landscape of a planet was at times amusing. His dark gaze swept across the sky as he sought out any indication the Super Elite was within the area. His attention briefly focused on the translucent light blue display that covered his left eye. The scouter remained silent as he waited. “Hmm,” he grumbled as he crossed his arms. Hopefully he would not be left waiting for very long.

While the Prince Vegeta was taking an inventory of his own items, the Lightning Lord was doing just the same.

The doors slid open to his personal armory and he walked through the briskly, marching up to the boxes and machinery that lay near the middle of the room. Another invention of his own design, he was quick to step into the small circular pad that was surrounded by a set of mechanical arms.

"Battle mode." He said quickly and the machine responded. Green lights flashed along the top of the consoles that lay behind the small pad and the screens lit up, running the program he personally had created. Gear Outfitter.

It was no surprise to any warrior in the modern times that having items for every mission, every quest and every battle was essential. It was safe to say that having the right equipment for each scenario could very well save one's life or turn the tide of war. While the Saiyan Inferno subscribed to the same belief, he was not of the study of using actual weapons. His own ki and his body had carried him through most events without much trouble and that came from his personal way of fighting. Oboe had taught him that one's own body was the most essential object that needed honing if one wanted to become truly strong. While a well placed sword or spear can help with that, a true warrior must be ready to defend himself even when he is stark naked and outnumbered. A sword can only cut so many, a spear can only pierce a few.

But one's fists can cause an entire army to flee if honed right.

The two arms twisted in the air and moved to both sides of the saiyan. They turned and dipped down towards the ground beside him, where six panels slid open and dim lights were glowing. The mechanical claws came together to pass the small boundary between the floor and the equipment area and then widened a bit so they could latch onto the twin sets of gauntlets. With relative ease, they brought the pieces of armor up and turned them so they were ready to be slid into. The saiyan took charge in this aspect, thrusting his hands into the confines of the metal and leather and wiggling his fingers around to get them comfortable.

Once the gloves had been attached, the arms moved in separate directions to gather more of his armor. Chishan never really wore full armor per se; he was more comfortable with his gloves, his boots and his pants. His slid the light brown jacket on over his bare chest until the arms were tucked underneath his gauntlets. He gave the collar a quick pull to straighten it and then left it alone, allowing the hood of it to drop onto his back. His bare torso lay out for any to see and that was the purpose. He wanted opponents to believe him unarmed and unready for battle.

It gave him the edge when he surprised them.

The arms attached his belt, containing senzu beans and other potions and such that would aid him if trouble arose. This eliminated his having to carry his pack anymore, thus taking a bit of weight off of his form. The last item, and one he did not dare leave in a storage locker, was the Archon Amulet. He quickly wrapped its chain around his neck and locked it in the back, feeling the cool steel against his skin.

"Let's get going then." He said to no one in particular, even though he knew that Archonias was listening. With a quick expansion of his senses, he located the coordinates that his prince had given him. And to solidify his assurance that he had the right area, he could sense the man's power as well. With a loud zap his form left the Night Fury.

And it reappeared on the ground below, appearing just a bit ahead of the Dark Prince. Chishan's eyes snapped up to meet his gaze and he bowed his head slightly, offering the man his due respect. "My prince."

Then a small smile came to his face. "You mentioned something about a challenge?"

The small smile that appeared upon Chishan’s face was mirrored upon the Dark Prince’s. He allowed a moment to offer a soft chuckle in reply before he said, “If what this fool had to say holds any truth then we might actually have a bit of fun today.” While he spoke his right hand lowered and patted the head of the corpse that he sat upon. Vegeta never held much regard for the dead other than those of his own race and only those who proved worthy of such respect. “The fool claimed that I would die should I face this creature,” the Dark Prince went on to say before a sadistic grin spread across his face.

The prospect of his death actually caused a hint of excitement to spring up within him and with it his desire for the ultimate challenge. A challenge that was so great that to fail in the attempt to overcome it… would result in nothing short of his own demise. The sound of the interlocking plates of bone-like armor that encased his body let off a soft scratching noise as the Dark Prince stood all too casually considering a portion of his armor had been caked in the corpse’s blood.

If I recall the words correctly there is this evil creature that has recently been awoken and will rampage across the surface of this planet leaving death and destruction in its wake. While I would normally be content not bothering to waste my time if this ‘demon’ truly possesses a strength capable of giving even the strongest of the Saiyans a challenge… well then it would be a travesty to miss such an opportunity. Don’t you think,” the Dark Prince asked as he bared his teeth when his lips curled up into a malicious grin.

He had been ready to leave once he first heard talk of this creature though there was one hang up. “The only triviality is that to find this creature we must first find the group that first sealed it away oh so long ago. The amount of time matters little. These fools could be thousands of years old for all I care. While it was suggested to discover how they sealed this creature away,” he said before he allowed silence to hang in the air. It was as if he wanted to leave Chishan a few moments to digest all of the information and reach his own conclusion.

A few moments later he continued on to say, “I for one say we kill these cowards who sought to seal away the threat rather than crush it with their own hands and then we finish this creature off once and for all.” With the thoughts that had been plaguing his mind like a maelstrom since he had learned of this situation finally brought to the surface and given substance through words the Dark Prince stepped back with a satisfied look upon his face. As he awaited the Super Elite’s response he crossed his arms over his chest and glanced off towards the distance.

Vegeta had grown aware that someone had observed him from concealment only moments before Chishan had arrived. The only question was who was observing and why? He could understand why this person did not seek to make their presence known, but that did not mean that he had to like it. For now he was content to simply converse with his fellow Saiyan and allow the observer to believe they have escaped his notice.

How in the hell had he missed the body Vegeta was using as a throne?

His smile stayed on his face, if only to hold face. After his many missions and escapades during the war, there would be no forgiveness if he was shocked to see a dead body now. Though it was still surprising to see the Prince of All Saiyans using it as a temporary seat. His eyes flickered to the corpse, the man's face a lesson to those that would speak against he rightful heir of Vegeta-sei.

"Die in the face of a creature, huh?" He asked moving forward as he crossed his arms over his chest. He was almost amused at the notion. "I've faced off against a lot of things, many of which claimed that I would die to them. I'll admit that the idea of facing off against something that powerful...well, it does get the blood pumping." He said with a wry grin.

He watched the royal saiyan stood up and continued the explanation. Some evil monster was threatening to awaken and destroy the entirety of the Earth. His gleeful features seemed to melt away the deeper into the story he got and his eyes seemed to flicker with slight anger. Was this how it was going to be? The Earth Defense Forces had severely doomed this planet to conflict it seemed. Even with the Saiyan Empire taking control and playing the role as vanguards, there seemed to be more powers rising in an attempt to destroy than to help. First the Lost had returned to turn it into a Star Forge and now some despicable creature was going to simply rampage across its surface?

He wasn't surprised Vegeta didn't care. There were no short amount of rumors about where the Prince's allegiances and feelings lay. He was a saiyan and that was the brunt of it; the glory of the Empire came before all things. But even more than that, he was called the 'Dark Prince' by many that knew he was not near. And indeed, the Lightning Lord had felt the tinge of darkness around the man all of the times he had been near him. An almost sociopathic emptiness to him. But he was the Prince and Chishan was a noble, committed saiyan.

"I agree. It's been quite some time since I've come up against anything that has pushed me to my limits. I won't pass up the chance to really let go." He said, holding his arm and rolling his shoulder. It was true; even the Lost attack that had almost come down on the city had only used a fraction of his power. And when he had confronted Hodr, the ancient Lost had no real power to challenge him with. So the opportunity to put his skills to the test? Absolutely worth it.

He brought his hand up to his chin and rubbed it, his brow furrowing slightly. "Magic energy is tough to get a reading on. If they sealed away the beast, no doubt they had to summon a lot of energy to perform the ritual. But perhaps they are trying to seal it away again? If that is true, we can at least see a spike in the natural energy on the planet. I'll have the Night Fury begin searching for higher than normal readings on the Earth. Then we can at least find the group and discover more details about the creature and what they did to seal it away." He said, offering an option for them.

"As for killing them..." He said, circling around the topic. In truth, the Saiyan Inferno had killed too many for his own liking during the war. Ravaging a group of ancient priests who were either too scared to fight or too weak didn't sit well with him. But he wasn't going to outright say 'no' to his prince. "I say we interrogate them first. After that, let them wallow in their failure. Death is a quick punishment whereas living with the fact that they couldn't stand against the might of this...monstrosity might be more than painful." He said, counter-offering. He hoped that the dark notion would sit well with Vegeta enough that he wouldn't have to sully his hands. If not...well, the crowned Prince delighted in killing. No doubt he wouldn't object to taking full control of the slaughter if need be.

The very idea irked him.

The Dark Prince stared at the Saiyan before him as he offered an alternative to simply killing the old fools for their cowardice. At first the look in his eyes appeared to be cool and collected yet something within them hinted at a possible curiosity that began to form within the Dark Prince’s mind. That is until he mentioned that the group should be interrogated rather than out right slaughtered. Dark brows rose with delight. In truth he was watching the Super Elite really close at this point in time. Particularly to the man’s expression and reaction to what he was about to say. It was not entirely expected. Vegeta had long since grown accustomed to his fits of mindless slaughter that he had nearly forgotten that not every Saiyan was so quick to kill.

So rather than giving them a quick death you would prefer their agony to be drawn out as long as possible,” he asked with a hint of amusement. “To think that such a bloodthirsty Saiyan would answer my transmission,” he said with a façade of calm observation. The slight narrowing of his eyes gave indication that something had started to brew within his conscious mind as he stared at Chishan. The gradual grin that shattered his calm visage served as a herald to what came next. “In fact I will go one step farther. You can take charge in their interrogation. Use whatever means you deem necessary,” he said as he took a step back to get a better view of the Super Elite.

If you choose to spare their lives so that they can live with their shame,” he said as his voice slowly drifted off into an almost oppressive silence. His dark gaze rested upon the Saiyan Elite for several moments before he glanced off at the distant horizon once more. “If you so choose then so be it. Perhaps enough blood has been spilled this day,” he said nonchalantly as he offered naught but a slight shrug of his shoulders.

To a casual observer it would be difficult to discern if the Dark Prince spoke in earnest of if his words carried some veiled meaning behind them. His gaze remained fixated upon a particular hill that was nestled between two larger hills off in the distance. “That matters little. I am sure you noticed we have been under scrutiny since you arrived,” he said as his gaze suddenly shifted towards Chishan. “Perhaps it is one of these mysterious priests? If so then perhaps now is the time for you to show me what you are truly capable of,” the Dark Prince said. Deep within his dark eyes something seemed to stir as if something deep within his soul sought release.

However, whatever it was did not surface as it quickly vanished as his hand swept out in an overly dramatic manner as he motioned towards the aforementioned observer.

What had started as meeting between a saiyan Prince and Super Elite had turned into quite the chess game on morality.

In truth, Chishan didn't believe his choices would simply be bought as easily as he had sold them. Prince Vegeta was a smart man afterall, there was never a doubt about that. He had single-handedly controlled the major war faculties during the Galactic War, issuing orders and even engaging firsthand into battles. He was a first class tactician and he was even proving it now.

Vegeta was quick to comment about the choice of long torture, naming him a 'blood thirsty saiyan'. He didn't comment, as he wasn't sure if it was meant to be sarcastic or sincere. The man before him was most likely thinking multiple steps ahead on multiple paths. Then he went ahead and put him in charge of the interrogations.

In fact, this was a bit of a relief. The Lightning Lord had led many different sessions of interrogating enemies and almost every single one had ended with information being let out and the prisoner being kept alive. And even if it came to it, he could utilize his telepathic abilities to invade their minds and retrieve the information without them having to ever say a word.

"If they deserve it, I'll do what any saiyan warrior would do." He said calmly, his smile holding firm as his stance. "But I've found that keeping prisoners alive longer can provide more results later on with different objectives. Nonetheless, we won't know how it plays out until we actually get to them."

Speaking of them, apparently the prince had also noticed the spy hiding a bit off. He was a clever one, hiding behind a hill that was nestled between two larger ones. To a normal human being, there would be no physical way they would be able to spot the intruder in the conversation. He didn't follow Vegeta's gaze, instead chuckling a bit and rubbing the back of his head. "Oh good, I thought we were just letting him stew in his own juices. He must feel so clever hiding so far off." He said, turning his head to look towards the grassy knoll. He brought his hand up to his brow and mocked having to narrow his eyes to see so far.

Even from this distance, he could tell the priest was beginning to move. Apparently he had caught on to both of the saiyans looking at him and, realizing the jig was up, was getting ready to flee. The Saiyan Inferno kept his senses tracked on him as he looked back to Vegeta and grinned.

"Truly capable of, huh? Sounds like fun." And as the words left his mouth, his form splintered apart from the spot and traveled, unseen, to the front of the now fleeing form. As the Lightning Lord appeared, he let his aura flash and lash out, knocking the priest off of his feet and to the ground.

"No one ever taught you its rude to listen in on a private conversation? And what if we were planning your surprise party?" He asked, walking slowly towards the surprised man. "Now when we yell 'surprise' you'll already know its coming."

The hooded figure jabbed his hand out and a dark purple beam of energy erupted from under the sleeve. The saiyan's eyes went wide for just a moment...but it was from the quick flash that provided him the precognition of the beam coming towards him. His body jerked to the side and twisted, allowing the beam to pass harmlessly past him as he stood in profile to the man.

"And now you attack your party planners?" He said quizzically as he suddenly appeared in front of the man, his hand wrapping around neck. Both of their images split apart and reappeared back by Vegeta, Chishan sending the man sprawling on the ground.

"I think you owe us an apology." He continued to jest.

The priest's hood slid down from his head, revealing his face to them both. His skin was horribly scarred, with sores that seemed to be filled with blackish pus. His skin was as grey as ash, with cracks running along the pores. His eyes were a glowing green. He hissed. "It does not matter. Entai will stomp you out like the insects that you are."

Chishan's telepathic arm stretched out and reached inside the man's head, attempting to find some useful information before he tried to attack again. There was an emptiness inside of his mind. As the saiyan explored more, he suddenly felt a presence roar forward and push him out. It wasn't the man, it was...

A demon. It's possessing his body. This priest is dead.

His gleeful features had dissipated as his hand thrust forward and a bright blue beam erupted from his hand, tearing through the man's chest. He screamed as his torso was completely incinerated from the powerful energy wave. When Chishan finally released the constant stream, there was a massive hole where the man's chest used to be.

And yet, he still breathed. His mouth parted and a viciously loud scream erupted from his throat, the sound attempting to pierce both saiyan's ears. Chishan simply glared at the man, his face unflinching.

And then the ground began to rumble beneath.

The Dark Prince arched and eyebrow when he bore witness to the beam of energy as it tore through the priest’s chest. “Interesting method of interrogation you chose there,” he said. When the man did not fall down the Dark Prince simply smirked. It would seem that their quarry chose to come to them rather than lurk somewhere to be hunted down. Smoke began to rise from the corpse as it began to writhe upon the ground. The movement proved to be rather amusing up until the corpse’s elbow struck Vegeta’s makeshift seat.

Upon contact the other corpse began to write as well. Lines of embers began to spread across its body to form a series of intertwined web-like designs. Then slowly the two smoking corpses stood up as their bodies twisted at unnatural angles. Both forms leaned forward in unison as spouts of green flames began to burst into existence across their shoulders. “Well this is an interesting development,” the Dark Prince muttered. “Two for the price of one,” he mused as his gaze shifted towards Chishan.

The movement proved folly as one of the corpses moved with unexpected speed and struck its fist into the side of the Dark Prince’s face. The force of the impact sent the Dark Prince soaring before he slammed into a nearby structure. Several moments passed as the ruined structure began to collapse. Golden light began to seep out from the myriad of cracks from the rubble before it culminated into an explosive display of power. The pile of rubble was all but eradicated as a fiery aura of golden energy flared uncontrollably around the form of the Dark Prince as he brushed off his shoulder. “How rude… the least you could have done was allow me to finish speaking to my comrade there,” the Dark Prince said with a sinister grin.

The thin gash that ran along his left cheek hinted at just how strong these two… the Dark Prince blinked as he gazed upon the two corpses that had seemingly taken on a new form in the time he had been buried under the pile of rubble. The two forms were now almost identical humanoids with the head of a black horse. Their crimson irises seemed to glow as it radiated pure power. “What do you think Chishan? Is this an opportunity or what,” he mused as one of the creatures rushed towards his position. The ground in its wake crumbled beneath the sheer force generated from the sudden movement.

"No use interrogating a dead man." Chishan responded to the prince, his gaze hard and firm on the still writhing priest. "I think its safe to say that your dead friend here led them straight to you." He concluded just before the priest smacked his elbow against the temporary seat of Vegeta.

Apparently, just like some zombie plague from fictional movies, this particular effect was transferable through touch. The original body, which had been dead for quite some time, suddenly began to jerk and spasm as if it had just woken from a nightmare. Its body began to twist abnormally and blazing lines criss-crossed over its skin. Within a matter of seconds, the two had become fully synchronized and rose to their feet, sprouting green flames that embraced their shoulders like pauldrons.

"And here I thought they weren't thoughtful." He began to say to the prince in response to his words before one of the corpses sprung into action, planting its fist into the face of the Dark Prince. The Lightning Lord could only stand there surprised as Vegeta soared through air and slammed hard into one of the closer structures. "Son of a bitch." He hissed at the bodies, his hands twisting into angry fists as his energy began to spike. The corpses must have sensed the dramatic rise in energy for their forms began to twist and warp yet again, becoming even more like beasts and less like humans. Their heads seemed to grow and jerk until they had taken the shape of a horse's head, with crimson eyes boring deep into his soul. His lips parted in a sneer as the two monstrosities stared him down.

Apparently the Prince of All Saiyans was not easily dispatched. In a blazing display, he vaporized the rubble that had fallen on him and wrapped himself in a furious golden light. A manic grin was plastered across his face as he taunted the two undead bodies, capturing their attention for the brief moment. The Saiyan Inferno couldn't help but grin just a bit. "When you're right, my prince, you are right. This sure is an opportunity."

One of the transformed bodies rushed Vegeta, its assault causing the very ground to collapse out from underneath it. Its twin did the same, though its target had apparently become Chishan. The saiyan's hand reached out, mentally grabbing onto pieces of ground that were falling into the endless pits. He pulled them back with a hard tug and sent them spiraling into the sides of his opponent, piercing its already beaten up skin. It stumbled slightly from the impact but quickly recovered, smoke rushing out of its nostrils.

It attempted to gore him, even though it lacked a horn to do so. Its head dipped low and yanked up as it came within his proximity. His hands grabbed at the horse's snout and stopped the sudden and vicious rise into his stomach, grunting from the force the beast was exerting. His feet slid along the ground as the entity continued to push them, his heels carving trenches into the ground.

"Enough of this!" He bellowed, his body suddenly gaining mass. His muscles bulged and the lines that had recently been appearing over his forearms were once again present, turning his skin into a scaly tic-tac-toe board. His emerald pupils seemed to melt away into the glowing white background as his body continued to teeter on the edge of ascending to yet another level of Super Saiyan.

His leg muscles pulsed and the wild ride came to a sudden stop, as the demon continued to push against him. His arms wrapped around the creature's neck, causing its eyes to bulge ever so slightly. Then with a spin on his heels, he sent it soaring across the plains. It bounced off the ground once, twice, three times before it landed in a hard slide. Its milky white hands dug into the grass to stop its slide, carving finger-sized gorges into the once peaceful plains. When it came to a stop, its furious red eyes snapped up to look at the saiyan.

He beckoned it with both hands. "Come on then. Show me the strength that I've heard so much about."

With a snort of its snout, jettisoning red-hot steam, it rushed him again with the intent of doing just that.

The clash that ensued was nothing short of one of the greatest fights of the Dark Prince’s life. At first it almost appeared as if the two were in a stalemate. Neither combatant seemed to be able to gain the upper hand. That is until the Dark Prince’s body surged with power as he began to push it well beyond the natural limits his body would normally withstand. The two began to trade attacks. One would hurl a large blast while the other deflected it off to detonate in the distance forever changing the lay of the land before hurling a blast in return.

This exchange continued for several moments before the Dark Prince suddenly vanished and appeared behind his opponent. Two swift strikes with his left hand caused Entai’s body to write in agony. It was but a passing moment though. In his left hand the Dark Prince had focused a considerable amount of turbulent energy into a small sphere which he quickly slammed into the demon’s back. The resulting explosion sent both combatants flying in separate directions. When the dust began to clear it was the Dark Prince that stood first. The demon known as Entai struggled to get to his feet.

The effort was futile considering the lower portion of his body had been utterly destroyed in the explosion. Entire portions of the Dark Prince’s armor had been burned away and his skin had been left red and severely burned in several areas. If these injuries gave him any pain it did not show. His gaze was completely focused upon his opponent… the same opponent that he now stood over with scythe in hand. With a casual flick of his wrist the ominous crescent blade spun around until it curved around Entai’s throat.

This is as far as you could push me,” the Dark Prince asked before spitting a wad of blood upon the ground. “Pathetic,” he muttered as the blade was drawn back. As the blade’s edge touched the demon’s skin it parted it as easily as if it had passed through water. Dark green blood that had long since coagulated dripped to the ground as the demon’s head fell to the ground with a low thump. The change was subtle at first. The creature’s skin slowly began to shrivel up as if it had set beneath a blazing sun for days. As the skin began to crack acrid smelling smoke began to seep from the wounds.

Then the creature burst into a virtual pyre of green flames before it was completely consumed. Once the fire had settled naught remained save for a pile of ash and bones. The Dark Prince turned towards the Saiyan Elite to see how he had fared against his opponent.

The other half of Entai, focused on the Saiyan Inferno, was intent on proving its strength.

Chishan, on the other hand, was intent on ending this demonic being's threat as quickly as possible.

The two of them clashed in a mighty battle of strength. Hands interlocked, feet planted on the ground, glowing saiyan eyes looked into unholy green ones. The ground was shaking beneath them, grass melting away from the demon's touch. The Lightning Lord pulled his right arm back, cocking it in place for a thunderous punch. The being across from him mirrored this, prepared to meet fists with the mortal.

When both arms unleashed, they smashed together in a heavy blow. Knuckles wrapped knuckles and the shockwave that exploded out from their connection was loud and earth-shattering. The ground gave way beneath them, dissolving at the very energy they were giving off and descending into a football sized crater.

"Your strength is no match for mine." The monster growled out of its snout, allowing another puff of dark air to escape its nostrils. "Wherever your arms go, mine will be there to stop them."

Chishan's eyes seemed to flicker with some emotion, some underlying thought that never escaped his mouth. But as his lips were tugged back into a grin, the emerald orbs swam to the top of his eyes again. "Tell me then. How would eight arms do?"

Before the creature had a chance to question the strange riddle, six new limbs made up of electrical ki sprouted from his torso, all together thrusting forward to knock the creature off of him. Stunned, it attempted to return its focus on the saiyan but found its body suddenly under swarm from a multitude of attacks. The Lightning Lord unloaded physical strikes into its chest, each lightning arm causing a pulse of electricity to travel though the undead body. Entai shook violently as the rampage continued to wrack its poor body.

The saiyan leapt into the air and sent his right leg smashing into the right side of its head, knocking it to the ground with a vicious crash. It crawled slowly as it got back up, feeling the electrical sparks still coursing through its veins. It made it hard to move as its muscles clenched up. "This...isn't possible."

"Shocking, I know." The saiyan said above him, staring down at the bewildered creature. Before it could respond again, his foot smashed down onto its head and squashed it against the ground. He felt bone and flesh give way beneath his boot as he completely decimated the creature's horse-like head, giving his leg a twist for good measure.

He pulled his foot out of the mess of bone and blood slowly, turning his back to the now dead demon. Its body was quick to shrivel up, rancid steaming escaping from its pores. And then in a bright green flash, it was consumed in its own viridescent funeral pyre.

"Guess he couldn't handle the shocking truth." He said to Vegeta, a grinning shadow against the bolstering flames behind him. As he approached the royal prince, he noticed the mess that had gotten onto his boot. He groaned dramatically and rolled his eyes.

"Leave it to a demon to mess up my clean look."
