Combat Rune, Saiyan, Champion II It had been quite the long day, all things considered. Tarble was gone, but that much wasn't a surprise. After all, he had responsibilities that Maragai was all too happy to leave to him. She wasn't much into the whole "royalty" thing. With a groan, she stretched out in her bed and closed her amethyst eyes. She knew that she wouldn't be able to fall asleep. After the latest training session she had with Tork'thal, her adrenaline was still running high. Even so, she wanted nothing mroe than to rest her sore muscles. It seemed that the stronger she got, the harder Tork'thal trained her - pushing the child until she couldn't be pushed anymore. "You know that Tork'thal only gave you a thirty minute break, right?" Je'sheln asked, stretching out at the foot of Maragai's bed. She yawned, showing her white fangs and pink tongue. "I don't think he'll be too happy if you go and fall asleep on him." "I'm not," Maragai muttered. She turned over on top of the covers and peered out the window of her ship. An endless sea of green grass stretched out as far as her eyes could see. The sky was void of clouds, allowing the sun to bring an intense heat to Earth's surface. For once, she was glad that the behemoth of earth hadn't brought her outside to train. 228 |

Saiyan The Ebony Phalanx. She was a beautiful ship made of the flesh of the Changelings he killed during his time on Vegeta. There was nothing that helped him sleep better at night than knowing his prized trophies were embedded in the vessel created specifically for him. He walked over to his bed, hopping onto it and letting his tense body relax. He hadn't taken a break like this since his fateful battle with Prince Vegeta, something that left his body in a state near complete death. However, that only proved to make Tarble even stronger in the end. He smirked a bit, letting the astral realm take hi-- WAIT NO HE HAD SOMETHING TO DO. So he flew out of the window of his ship, breaking it in the process. He flew straight to a location he fondly remembered: Maragai's ship. He flew in, seeing that Maragai was resting on the gro-- WAIT WHY WAS SHE IN HER SHIP? He was about to stop and descend, but he was in such a hurry that he forgot to stop and crashed through the fucking ship and right into Maragai's chest, smoke flying into the air. Flat as a board.. "H-Hey there!" 201 |

Even though Maragai had not planned on falling asleep in the measly thirty minute break she was allowed, the preteen found it harder and harder to stay awake. Slowly, she felt herself drifting off. Hell, Je'sheln was already asleep; her gentle snores echoed off of the walls dully. No sooner than the Vessel of Light felt herself slipping away, a power tickled her senses. Though it took a moment or two, Maragai was able to tell that the incoming power was Tarble. Halfheartedly, the girl opened one amethyst eye and glanced out her window. Already, she could see his form - but a dot in the distance. Je'sheln lifted her head, waking up. "What's he coming over here for?" the goddess of light wondered out loud. Maragai only shrugged her shoulders and yawned. So much for her break. She began to rise, but stopped as she noticed her uncle's form right outside of her window. "He's not stopping..." Je'sheln remarked, sounding as if she had no idea what to even think of it. The crashing of glass announced the prince's arrival. Before Maragai could scurry out of his way, the man crashed into her chest. Maragai felt the breath leave her lungs as the bed beneath her form cracked, then split beneath the blow. Both Saiyans fell in a heap on the floor. Instantly, Je'sheln was on her paws, the faintest of snarls present on her maw. Though the blow hadn't hurt all that much, it had left Maragai winded. Trying to untangle herself from Tarble's legs, she could only say one thing. "What was that for?" 266/494 |

He blushed a bit before getting himself off of Maragai, quickly making his first priority to answer her question. "I don't really have 'friends' on this planet, so I thought I would come see how my favorite Saiyan was doing!" The grin he offered to her was genuine, but he couldn't help but feel a little tensity in the room, notably from Je'sheln. It was understandable; the two of them didn't know each other very well yet. Maybe it was about time they changed that up a bit. He smiled wide as he approached Je'sheln, crouching down to get on eye level with the spirit animal. "Je'sheln, do you know what sparring is? I think we should go a couple rounds to try and break the ice. What better way to get to know each other than a good old fashioned fight?" He motioned for the two of them to exit the ship, digging his feet into the ground and getting into his standard battle stance. He was excited to fight against an enemy that resembled a damned animal. It would be a nice change of pace from fighting against his fellow Saiyans so much, especially Vegeta. 199 / 400 |

"Oh." Maragai brushed herself off, looking a bit embarrassed. Then again, who wouldn't be after the man made such an entrance? She made a note about smoothing her clothes out before answering further. "I'm doing fine," she answered. "I was just taking a break from training. If you wanted to check on me, I have a perfectly good door, you know," she added. Her uncle decided to address Je'sheln even if the goddess had narrowed her golden eyes dangerously. " A couple of rounds?" the lupine answered, sounding as if she hadn't expected the Saiyan to outright challenge her. Maragai didn't blame her; the lupine-like deity of light was extremely powerful, even in her suppressed state. "Frankly, I doubt you'd last one round." Her voice was matter of fact, but not condescending. "Besides, there's not much of a way for me to pull my blows." She paused to lift up her paws, showing curled and black claws that extended from them. Her fangs did not need to be shown; anyone could see them as she talked. "Besides that-" The lupine's voice was interrupted by the door of Maragai's room sliding open. The massive form of Tork'thal came rushing in. His beady eyes locked on Maragai's form immediately. "What the hell is going on in here?" the Vessel of Earth demanded. "I hear a crash and-" He trailed off as he saw Tarble. "Who the fuck- Oh, it's you." His beady eyes showed a glimmer of recognition as he saw Tarble. "Did you make that hole?" he asked, nodding at the broken window in Maragai's room. 264/758 |
