Musics to set the mood Hikari ran from another Paladin squad after she had butchered one earlier in an ambush. The spot that she hid in was far away from life, and her only hope to survive this lay in their inability to track her chi signature. Her breaths came in as gulps of air as she started to calm herself down from the flight and closed her crimson eyes. These damned guys had not given up, but she would be safe for about an hour. At least, that is what she hoped, as she had left them behind with horror-filled images to distract them. The Celestial decided to get some pratice to fight the Paladins and focused on the Astral Realm, as her mind left her body and she warpped through into a zone that she had hoped wouldn't be the ground for this. Eerie, teal smoke flowed over the ground, which itself was cold, and almost had the feel of dead flesh. She strode on this ground for a little while before she sat by a crooked tree, an inky black abomination that looked more dead than alive. "I hope I get someone that can stomach the tome of Ch'thun. Otherwise this might be a little extra awkward," she muttered to herself. At least she would have company in this cemetery. Words: 218 |

champ lvl1, combat rune, telepathic link “LAST CHRISTMAS I GAVE YOU MY HEART” It was long past midnight when half of the crew aboard the Nightfall happily joined in the karaoke version of this ‘classic’ Christmas song from Earth. A good time for Levana to sneak out off the ships dining area before they would drag her along in some polonaise. Most of the guests were so drunk by now that they wouldn’t remember most of the evening anyway and others might be so embarrassed that they would pretend that they didn’t remember anymore. She softly smiled and sighed while she walked through the abandoned hallways, back to her bedroom. The beat of the party music was still softly zooming in the background, but except for that all was nice and quite. One thing she knew for sure now; though she was half Saiyan, she definitely did not inherit their appetite… She felt like she had eaten enough for a whole year and they were already planning a new party next week it seemed. As she entered her room she noticed a soft blue, pulsating light coming from one of the drawers; her telepathy gem. So someone, somewhere in the galaxy was looking for an opponent or maybe just some company. She quickly gazed at her alarm clock; 4.17 am. Maybe she should better go to sleep and tray to still get some sleep. The gem however kept winking at her. Well, why not, she was way to curious to see who she could meet this time. She took the gem from the drawer and closed her eyes, while her mind floated away and she wondered if it would be someone she knew who called for her. Before she opened her eyes again she could already feel the cold and humid air surround her. She looked around and was slightly surprised by what she saw. A cemetery? “People really choose the weirdest places for a meeting,” she smiled. “Hoo-hoo-hoo,” an owl in a nearby tree seemed to respond to her, as if he agreed with her. Some branches and fallen leaves rustled underneath her boots as she strolled along to see if she could find the person who had brought her here. Not much later she picked up a strong ki signature a good 20 meters to her left. It was definitely not someone who she had met before, to her surprise though it seemed to be a celestial again. Before she had barely ever met someone of this angelic race and now she came across two in only two weeks time. This was slightly odd, she couldn’t help wondering if there had been some heavily outbreak recently or some kind of new revolution. As she got closer to the celestial she could feel that she was female and that her power level seemed to be almost double of her own. She was about the same power of the other angel she had met recently. Was this an other weird coincidence or did all celestials have about the same strength? Levana then stopped close to some old crooked tree; underneath sat a red haired girl who seemed somewhat years younger then she. Then again looks could be deceiving. Unsure if this girl would turn out to be a friend or a foe, she decided to just start with a simple “Hey there.” WC 556 |

Hikari's senses were not like many people's, but her Scouter rang out and she noted what was there. There was little she could do about calling people here, but it could still be fun. She clicked the Scouter off for a moment as she waited, a smile on her face. She was greeted by a woman that looked as though she might be a kitsunemimi, maybe even a nekomimi- wait, did she have tail, or not? That would change the whole thing if she didn't. The former human pushed herself up after the young woman spoke, and placed a hand on her hip, "Hey there back." She stood there for a moment as she thought about what was about to go down, if they were to fight; Christmas was here, if she remembered correctly... Hikari placed a hand on her head as she said, "Yare, yare. And here I thought that I would fight someone." Her crimson orbs slid over to the other as she released a loud sigh, "But, I guess for the spirit of the time of year, I can let a fight go. My name is Hikari." She placed her hand out for the other, if she wanted to shake her hand. She wasn't exactly sure what this individual was, but if the species indicator was right on her Mark II Scouter, then she was at least part Saiyan- a race that Hikari had heavily worked with during the war. The Celestial flipped her hair back and then looked around, "I always found this place a bit off-kilter. Never sat right with me, what was inside of this creature. It's a real life place, inside a sleeping deity." She smirked as she looked at the woman, "It's my abilities from Kanassa that let me take us here, and replicate it so that we wouldn't wake up the creature. But, I don't think we'll worry about it." She leaned back against the twisted tree and asked, "What is your name? And, what would you like to do- other than leave straight away." She wouldn't blame the other if she wanted to leave right away, but she couldn't just let her leave now. Not after all the trouble to create this place and then host something here. Not very Christmas-y, she knew, but there was little she could do about it. Words: 610 |

"Hey there back." The red haired girl smiled when Levana greeted her and stood up from the ground. So far so good, she seemed to be a friendly person. Yare, yare. And here I thought that I would fight someone." Her crimson orbs slid over to the other as she released a loud sigh, "But, I guess for the spirit of the time of year, I can let a fight go. My name is Hikari." And the girl was definitely not shy or suspicious at all, to say at least as she kept on talking. Hikari seemed to have this youthful joy and happiness around here when she spoke, that the feline girl couldn’t help but to smile. Levana of course gladly accepted the friendly gesture and shook the celestial’s hand. The moment their fingers touched Levana’s telepathic ability gave her a glimpse of her opponent most resent memories. It where some vague flash though, no very detailed images. But what she saw slightly disturbed her; there was blood splashing around and moments later the girl seemed to be fleeing from half a dozen men. Maybe there was more to this friendly face then meets the eye. Levana figured it would be best to keep her guard up. Before she could try to say something, Hikari continued to explain what this cemetery actually was and how she had created it. "What is your name? And, what would you like to do- other than leave straight away." “Hello Hikari,” she responded gentle, over time she was accustomed to ignoring questions of who she was. She would tell if necessary. Later. “I don’t mind that much about the whole Christmas-thing, so I don’t need to leave right away and I never say no to some good battle training.” I was true; she could definitely use some practice. The last year she had almost completely spend on training her fellow crewmembers, who were about 30K lower in power level. Also with spending so much time together they knew each others moves and tricks way to well. I would be nice to fight someone she had never met before, especially someone so much stronger then her, maybe she could pick up some new technics. She remembered the bloody image she had seen before, hopefully this wasn’t going to turn out all wrong. WC 322/878 |

Well, now this was a turn of events for the young Celestial. he placed a hand on her head as she whispered, "Ah, so is that how it is?" Her eyes then turned to Levana before power flooded the area as psychic energy flared out of her as she placed her hand up as she backed up with a jump and smiled lightly, "Then lets have a small match." She placed her hand out once the other appeared to be ready and pulled her hand that was back, forward, as a golden disc flew forward, towards Levana, at a diagonal angle that might catch her off guard. Hikari followed the disc and would fire off a few quick punches at the young woman's stomach area as she narrowed her eyes to see just how she would react. This was still a spar, however, and not very serious, so she jumped away afterwards, and landed with her face a bit more alive. For Hikari, it was easier to speak with her body in combat, than to speak with her words. "So, are you going to tell me your name? It's rude, especially after I gave you mine," she said, with a bit of seriousness and a bit of annoyance. If she wouldn't tell her her name, then she would extract it with her own psychic powers. Her gaze narrowed then, "In addition, I don't like it when anyone touches my mind without permission." This might clue her opponent into that she had psychic powers, but since Levana had reacted the way that she had- it was a clear clue that she had seen something. So long as she didn't know that Hikari was of Damaskia, it would be fine. Words: 898 |

Levana had barely finished her sentence or something about Hikari seemed to change already. There was that something in her eyes and even in the air surrounding them, a sparkle that was just that little bit more evil then before. So her gut had been right; that she should watch out for this celestial. The girl however seemed to give her time to get ready. The feline warrior wasted now more time and with a brief nod at her opponent she placed herself in defensive fighting stance. Hikari immediately got into action as well; as she brought her arm forward some kind of golden energy disk was send in Levana’s direction. More in a reflex then an actual reaction she quickly rolled to the right and elegant as a feline is supposed to be, she jumped back up on her feet and got back to her position. This was a close call, the disk had barely missed her by a few inches; the celestials speed was amazing. Luckily for the Saiyan hybrid it didn’t seem like she was controlling the disk and so risking that it would come back for a second attack. Before Levana could start an attack of her own though, her female opponent continued with throwing in some punches toward her stomach. She quickly brought up her right arm to intercept the first blow; the next one however slipped trough her defence, hitting her hard in the stomach. Damn it. As she automatically took a step backwards after the hit, it was painfully clear that this celestial was indeed much faster and stronger then she was. I obviously need more training… Hikari then seemed to give her a short break, as she asked again about her name and apparently she had noticed at well that Levana had seen a glimpse of her resent memory, meaning she had some physical abilities as well. So the little advantage she lost already too. “What is it with people and names?” she smiled light-hearted and cited from a rather famous play she had once seen on Earth, “What's in a name? That which we call a rose, By any other name would smell as sweet." She wasn’t sure if her opponent here would be amused though, so she continued a bit more serious, “People call me Skye,” she answered. Though it wasn’t her actual name by birth, it was indeed a name she had been using the last year. She used it so frequent now, that it felt almost natural. She had chosen this name to start again with her life. And until now, nobody from her past had show up to call her by her real name, so as far as she was concerned Levana was dead. No one else seemed to care about her either. “I didn't read you on purpose,” she continued honestly, “I just get some memory flashes now and then, and more often when I touch someone.” “But if I recall correctly, we were sparing here,” she smiled, as she pushed herself off from the ground towards her opponent. She aimed a low right kick to Hikari’s hip, hoping to get her defense down and then immediately follow up with a right high kick to the side of her head. WC 544/1422 |

Hikari grunted as her Kienzan had flown out, but she had not exspected that one attack to strike. Not against another psychic. Her other blows were a miss and then a hit, which were less about killing and more about reflexes. Unlucky for her opponent, the Celestial had her own feline form. Her power started to flood out, but Skye decided to attack then. After she started to go on about different topics, one of them about the name 'Skye', the Celestial caught a different name as the other seemed to go on. But she would stay silent about that. "That's enough," she growled, as she thrust her elbow down with equal force to her opponent to neutralize the blow, using the information her had quickly deciphered from the block of her earlier punch, and then the second blow came in. Towards her head, so her wrist went up as she drove forward. Before she struck, however, her astral body froze and started to de-materialize. "Well damn, Skye. It seems I'll have to go for now. We'll meet again, I'm sure." A smile slid over her face as her form shattered into what looked like glass. Words: 1000+ |
