Well, it was time for yet another adventure. Gine was taking a small break from all the hubbub of working and would decide to go about adventuring! Having already admired much of the surrounding splendor in the forest, she would make her way briskly towards the next town. She would be more interested in the colorful herbs found scattered about the ground. These were much different than the ones that grew on Vegeta, probably because they didn’t have to survive being trampled on by giant apes. Each unique plant got its own little inspection by the young woman as she noted their characteristics down in her journal. She would want to have something to talk about when she returned to the mountain dojo! Those shadow arts people spent a great deal of their time working on creating strange poisons of all varieties. One time, while checking out the research labs, Gine had even spotted someone who looked unmistakably dead! It turned out there was a special poison that could put a human in a death-like sleep for up to two weeks before waking up. If she was impressed by anything it was the humans’ ability to create the most useless but at the same time most amazing things. She guessed that’s what happens when your population doesn’t have to worry about global annihilation on a daily basis. Pretty soon, the landscape began to change. The large, leafy trees began to shrink and become much narrower as the miles passed. The black hood head didn’t help to alleviate the heat of the sun, but was still sufficient in keeping the bugs from touching her face. If there was one thing she hated about earth it was how tiny and annoying their bugs were. She would rather be swarmed by one foot long bugs that she could easily blast into smithereens. Trying to catch a fly just wasn’t even worth the effort! In short, adjusting to earth was a lot more interesting than she had first thought it would be. The endless terrain was starting to test her patience well before she happened to spend all of her energy walking through it. Even being a Saiyan didn’t mean she could underestimate the desert that she was approaching. She would continue to walk while the sun was very strong. It was all she could do to lather on some of what these humans called sunscreen to prevent her skin from burning up. Her source of water was pretty much limited to her one and only waterskin which was full but would definitely last a hike through a desert. She would need to find some sort of oasis along the way or resort to flying. Pretty soon she would arrive at some sort of desert town. Sure she had been wanting to find a place to sleep, but this wasn’t what she had in mind! Damnit, I knew I should have bought a damned map. Gine reluctantly decided to stay for the sake of trying to blend in with the humans. It turned out that people in these parts were pretty accepting of outsiders and had quite the hotel business going. While it didn’t look that impressive from the outside, there were several hundred meters of underground hotel space that was regularly filled with passersby. Gine didn’t have the most money on her so she couldn’t experience the best the town had to offer. She found herself sleeping in something similar to a motel with no hot water which was strange since there was a desert literally twenty feet above her. Perhaps the rich people were using it all up. Not bothering to socialize, the saiyan would end up just falling asleep on the low quality bed and waking up well before the sun rose. She wanted to hopefully make it to the next town before mid-day so she would scarf down as much food as possible and take a few water bottles with her as she left. She prepared to leave the border of the town by saying goodbye town guards that were unusually attentive to their surroundings. “I’ll be leaving now. Thanks for your hospitality.” And so she walked out of the town and back out into the desert. The strong sun and heat and only generated a feeling of kindness, apparently because she had managed to get used to the desert. It was all she could do to take off her outer layer of clothing to sustain some level of comfort. She also adjusted her shoes to prevent any damage from sand since she would be walking around for quite a bit of time. Several days later and Gine would finally arrive at what appeared to be an ocean. There was a large city bordering the blue waters along with quite the busy port. Hmm, maybe I can catch a boat. I really don’t want to be swimming across this thing. And so, the woman would find herself tiptoeing along the docks. There was a sign with a picture of a large ship with the words “To Hibi Island” painted in red. Gine had no idea where this place was, but it was the only ship leaving for the next two hours and she was burning daylight. So she’d slip the ticket office the rest of her cash and get herself onto that boat! The boat was quite luxurious and was filled with all sorts of folk. It looked like this was some sort of cruise which would explain why they had taken so much damn money. Gine would find herself enjoying the pool and buffet areas so much that she didn’t even notice that the boat was pretty much traveling blindly throughout a very dense fog that had settled at the ocean’s surface. Within 6 hours, the ship had finally arrived at this Hibi island which is where it decided to dock for the night. Apparently the ship was carrying quite a bit of cargo and it was required to get inspected at each stop. 1005 |

Gine looked over at the law enforcement officials that started to board. The carried some pretty heavy weaponry for something as simple as a cargo inspection. Were they planning on taking the ship down if it didn’t go as planned? She would make her way down and follow the cops and the cargo managers in order to see if she could find anything interesting to see down there. She had heard a rumor that there were some exotic animals in the cargo bay for some zoo or another. It’d save her a lot of time if she could just see the animals here instead of flying all the way around the world looking to add them in her Earth journal. Sadly, the rumors proved false. She didn’t see anything down here at all! Perhaps the animals had already been removed and were on the island somewhere in some kind of zoo. With a groan, she would make her way back up to the docks and start looking around. Hoping fate would guide her to the right place, she would discover that the island was not that large. It was by far the smallest island she had ever been on as it was simply a docks and a large casino. There was some luxury rowboating and sea diving activities to be had off the sandy beach though. Having decided to go on a rowboat ride, Gine ended up sitting with five people who started telling her to paddle. This was their idea of fun? Whatever, she was down for whatever. They would paddle around the entire island several times then eventually decide by unanimous vote to return to port. Once docking the vehicle, they set out to walk with a small tour group as the employee was left to tie the boat. The trees were not as abundant as in other places where there were many piece of land. The trees were scarce and placed very aesthetically in such a way that its artificiality was obvious. Soon Gine got bored of this island and got back on the ship. She would take a nap and wake up the next day when they docked at the next island. This place was much larger and its port was trade-centered. Instead of just a casino, the port had higher multiple residences hotels, attractions, and typical human holiday venues. More police officers boarded the ship from time to time giving the impression that goods smuggling was a huge deal in these parts. There also seemed to be a fairly powerful armed forces unit protecting the island from any danger. Troops walked the streets with blasters that they would point at anyone that looked even remotely suspicious. What a great way to show hospitality to your tourists. She made her way around, looking at whatever appeared interesting enough to grab her attention. She soon learned that humans tended to use a lot of flashing lights to get people’s attentions. In any case, she soon found herself at the center of the island which contained a rather large volcano. They even had a tourist attraction that let you ride a lift all the way around the pit which was something Gine couldn’t even do. Having no money left from the cruise ticket, she had little choice other than to fly herself. Oh how she hated drawing attention to herself so she would make sure she covered her face with some dark colored cloth. She looked around at the top where she was looking for what the big deal with this volcano was. She thought it would be interesting to find out just how hot this lava was so she would down to the bubbling liquid and hover slightly over it. She stopped a lot higher than she had expected to since the lava was indeed quite hot. She looked around and saw some kind of passageway dug out into the inside of the volcano wall! She investigated closer and it seemed to be a tunnel that ended several hundred yards beyond the end of the volcano. She would look for a rock to lean on and try to enter the hole without falling into the lava. However it was too small for her body to fit into. Perhaps it was created by an animal of sorts. Anyways, Gine soon got bored and flew over to the ship and sleep until they docked in the next port. In such a hot day in the next island. It was also so calm that the young woman stopped by a park and took a quiet nap on a park bench. When she woke up, she watched the stars floating in the sky, placing her hand over her extended mouth gave a big yawn and then pulled out a small map that had been complimentary upon reaching the island. She would look at it back to back and try to pick out places where she could possibly enjoy visiting. This whole vacationing thing was starting to get boring especially for someone who’s life had been dedicated to gorey combat. “You fucking demon,” someone would mutter as they passed by. What the hell was that about, Gine would think. She had seen demons, and she was not a demon. She thought that sometimes people exaggerated a little too much. Yea, decided it was about time to bring her vacation to an end as she sighed and stretched a little arms and legs. She would get to her feet and walk down the lonely streets which were empty aside from a woman tending to a leg injury of her daughter. “Hey you two, what’s happening here.” “Someone pushed us over a minute ago, stole my bag and ran away. I’m just bandaging my daughter, but I think that’s pretty obvious.” “Tch,” Gine would utter as she blasted up into the air. She wasn’t sure what she disliked more, this woman’s attitude or the fact that there was a thief in their midst. 999 Words 2004 Total |

Gine soared into the sky and tried to spot the thief from above. The moon was nearly full tonight so the chances of the criminal getting away was slim. And there, at the corner of her eye, she saw it. A white blur of movement three blocks down. What kind of criminal wears white? Well she wasn’t one to complain about a blessing, so she flew at top speed towards the figure in the distance. It only took a few moments to get there, but when she finally caught up with the white figure she noticed that this thief was packing heat. The stranger was carrying no less than three machine guns, an assault rifle, and a rocket launcher! This would have been useful information to disclose when telling someone that a thief took your bag. Speaking of which, where was the bag? In the guy’s hand. Classy. “Say, you want to give that bag back? You shouldn’t steal from women.” The figure wouldn’t even respond. All it would do is take a machine gun and fire at the woman who had just landed in front of him. Gine frowned and punched the white dressed person with all her might and felt her fist exit out of the other side of the person’s body. Sad. I thought he would at least be superhuman. She would then take the bag and blast off to return it to that woman from earlier. The saiyan wouldn’t stay around and ask for a reward but would merely drop the bag from her vantage point in the sky. If she had any gratitude whatsoever she wouldn’t be so rude to strangers next time. And so, Gine’s vacation finally ended. It was time to find a nice home to settle down in for the time being. She also wanted to look into finding some kind of servant to cook her food and clean the house because she herself couldn’t be bothered with it. But where was she going to get the money? By babysitting of course! She would knock on a wealthy man’s door and offer to babysit his kid in exchange for living arrangements. Ironically, to have enough money to eventually afford a maid, she herself would have to be a nanny. She knew as soon as she met the kid that she had made a rather grave mistake. While she wasn’t particularly bad with children, this one seemed to have some issues. For one, this little girl had the ability to control things with her mind and perform magic tricks. On top of that, she had some kind of traumatic past that caused her to spaz out in PTSD attacks. Well now was the perfect time to sit next to the girl and get to know her a bit better. The little girl would waste no time asking “Want to see a magic trick? I can turn this bear into a rabbit!” At that she would pause and concentrate. Within a few seconds, the bears appearance turned to that of a stuffed white rabbit. Gine had been so shocked by what once a bear that she snatched the rabbit out of the girl’s hands and thoroughly examined it. She was completely convinced that this thing was indeed not an illusion but some sort of alchemy. She looked inquisitively at the girl who merely said with a wink “A magician never reveals her secrets!” The young girl was calm with a face of happiness but she didn’t take long to start making mischief like running around the house jumping on tables and the sofas. This was a typical hyperactive child and it was looking like the only way to calm her down was to put her to sleep. Just as Gine decided it was time for a nap, girl stepped on a table bearing a vase which tipped the precious china over the edge. Not only that, but the girl herself would stagger and fall over. The Saiyan instantly shot forwards with her impressive speed and grabbed them both before anything catastrophic could happen. She sighed again as she put the vase back in place and the girl exclaimed. “I have an idea, how about we play outside?” She figured this was an achievement of sorts as far as ideas went. They exited through the back door and Gine found that this yard was at least 10 acres which was ridiculous. It came complete with a mini golf course, a ferris wheel, and a full time gardening and upkeep staff. What the hell? Why don’t I just kill this guy and live here myself? With a sigh she would put away her slightly evil urges and remember her dedication towards being a good Samaritan while on earth. The child would run out into the yard while carrying her teddy which would be embraced in her arms. Gine would take a bouncy ball that was in the house and decided she would play with the kid at least for a little while longer. The child was happy to ditch her bear on a nearby table and head over to a courtyard of sorts. And so they would spend the next thirty minutes passing the ball with the tips of their fingers back and forth. Gine’s goal was to wear the girl’s energy down enough that she would want to completely pass out which would hopefully lead into a nap that would last until the end of the working day. Soon enough, the girl would start panting as they continued the game passing the ball again and again. She eventually fell to her knees completely deprived of energy. By now it was late afternoon and the girl was brought into a luxurious bedroom which was supposedly her room. The Saiyan made an extra trip to the yard and got the teddy bear before reclining in the back yard watching the stars. She couldn’t wait for the dad to get home and give her pay. Judging by how rich he was, Gine could probably end up living off the money for the rest of her time here on earth! 1021 3025 |

It wasn’t long before the dad came home and paid Gine quite the sum of money. Hell it was so much that she immediately blasted off into the sky to give herself a little cheer! With this she could definitely get a small house out in the countryside. The legal and property fees she had to give up to set up all that bullshit left her with hardly any money left. She really needed to sort out her financial situation. Well it was fortunate for her that her house only a few miles from an isolated military base that happened to be hiring young attractive women! It sounded like easy work so she was in. All she had to do was sit around some dudes and be eye candy as she stood lookout. Perversion aside, it was enjoyable since she could just rest a little after all that nonsense she had to go through with that little girl as well as dealing with Earth’s legal systems. Arriving at the watch post, Gine would punch in and nod to the man who was currently watching the boring skyline. Something told her that nothing interesting had ever happened here and this was just a waste of military resources. It was obviously boring work, but Gine understood that a job was job she certainly needed the money if she was every going to be able to buy food at a supermarket. Putting her hand in her jacket, she opened up a bag of sweets and and began to eat some of that as she surveyed the flat scenery. She would take a few jumps around the watch tower in order to find the best view then took a seat for about an hour. There seemed to be no problems at all, but rather everything was in control. This was the perfect opportunity to relax so she would close one eye and start breathing deeply. It really was a relaxing feeling to eat while relaxing breeze hit her freshly body until she heard a noise like a cracking of stone, which alerted her immediately. Was something happening that she was supposed to have taken notice of? She looked down at the tower’s walls and saw that there were some teenagers vandalizing military property. Gine sighed then jumped down to the ground where the teens were standing. She swiftly kicked at them, not expecting them to be very resilient. She wasn’t completely sure what these people could be punished with seeing as though this was just minor vandalism. She figured that it couldn’t be that bad, considering. The teens kept dodging her kicks though which was pretty annoying. After a while she gave up exhausted from running around pointlessly and took a seat in the sand. The teens tried to goad her into catching them again but she wouldn’t be falling for their tricks. She wasn’t quite sure how they could possibly be faster than her, but Earth was a weird place. Once they realized that she wouldn’t be playing around anymore they jeered one last time then sped off into the distance. She spent the night in the watch tower and awaited her replacement to arrive. It was late in the morning before she was woken up by the next soldier. He would hand her a letter that supposedly contained the details of another task she could partake in. She thanked him and headed down into the tower’s small kitchen. She still had time to eat breakfast and she wouldn’t be able to function properly if she didn’t fill up her tum tum. Thankfully the letter contained a job that was located in a town near the one she currently lived in. She found herself flying for once since she urgently needed to eat and arrived in less than thirty minutes. She then made her way to a town pub where many people would gather to eat with family or friends. Sadly, she had none of those here on earth and had breakfast quietly and away from others. As her food arrived, she curiously opened the letter containing the new job which she had been recommended to. The reading would go slowly as she ate. To anyone that wasn’t used to her, the sight would be quite strange and comical given the awkwardness of her movements from the time the food was not in the mouth. She couldn’t reliably eat and read something important at the same time and often got made fun of for it. She finished quickly then got to her feet before flying out a nearby window. She left her payment on the table but had little patience to deal with human customs for now. The papers said there was a bad bandit problem and people were getting harassed on a daily basis. She wouldn’t stand by and let the innocents get so woefully bothered! She felt a little off while flying. It was almost as if spending the last few weeks on her feet and not using ki had made a little worse at performing the aforementioned actions. Even if blending in was the most important thing on her list, she still owed it to herself to keep her training. If she was blunt with herself she would realize that a lot of this human interaction was pointless if not completely boring. However, her shadow arts master made it very clear that she was required to assimilate into the human populous if she was ever going to be able to become a proper assassin. And that’s what it all came down to. She wasn’t going around doing jobs for the money, hell she could just rob banks all day if she wanted. No, she was doing this to learn what it meant to be a human so she could take on the most classified quests. Gine would smile as she soared over the town she was supposed to arrive at. She had arrived just on time to spot some shifty looking people down below. She made sure she flew back into the clouds and found a secluded place to land and arrive on foot. 1024 4049 |

There was a rather thin fog that had started to settle onto the village. Now that she was on foot, she could hardly see anything. Any moment the earth beneath her feet was covered with puddles and mud. It was almost like she was walking into Silent Hill. But more important it was to find the research group that was here and finish with those bandits. However there would be a few issues here. She didn’t have good navigation abilities. Even though her senses were quite developed it didn’t mean she could see in super dense fog. So she was very careful. She did not want that group of bandits to sneak up on her. Plus she didn’t want to drag any civilians into this business since casualties were always a pain to deal with. Within an hour she had arrived at the center of the town and heard a very loud crashing sound in the distance. Of course, she had no idea if this was the bandits causing trouble or not. It could have merely been someone dropping a box! Or at least that’s what Gine thought before she heard a loud scream and some gunshots. As soon as she heard the shots she ran as fast as she could in that direction and could see some people dressed in red running away. And so the Saiyan would chase them around the town but would be unable to catch them on foot. She was hoping to have more endurance than these people and wear them down over time. It was also strange that they were all sticking together, it wasn’t something Gine herself would do if in their shoes. Eventually the bandits ran into a wooded area, some noises broke the quietness of the place, in The movements of the tree branches were generated by wind when something slammed into some nearby plants. Was this an animal or an enemy? She had to be aware of all the noises since they could be an indication of people. She would walk for a while as the wooded area would end leading to a rather arid area, where the vegetation was scarce and the floor was dirt. She would walk there too but not for long. Several more minutes passed then she saw something that looked a lot like a cave! The obvious first thought was that this was some sort of clue trail, something that would tell her where they were or bandits or group of fighter of the town. As she progressed through the cave she would notice that it wasn’t completely dark, probably due to some light source from within. That would strengthen the possibility that someone was there, walking a while for that extensive road she would see a person lying on the wall of the cave, her eyes would easily see this person was one of the bandits that were fleeing the town from earlier. What happened where were his companions? A brief silence passed as she stood there and thought about it. For a moment thought that she would go to say they were all dead, but she highly doubted it. The town had called her over specifically to deal with these bandits, why would someone else come do the job for free? They went to the forest to escape the bandits, so why is one of them dead? Feeling stupid, she finally noticed that this guy had blood dripping down from his clothing. It looked like he had gotten shot or stabbed. Well, it wasn’t Gine’s problem. She would go deeper into the cave, surely the time flew by for her although she was concentrated on listening for any sort of unnatural noise. In the distance she could see a group that was all wearing the same color. It was pretty easy to infer that they were the rest of the bandits. Gine grunted and held up her hand. She would then fire an energy dan that would send ten ki blasts towards the group of people. She was hoping to scramble them about and make them wonder what the hell was going on. However, they seemed to be highly trained professionals since they simply dove out of the way, determined the origin of the attacks, then started firing bullets in the saiyan’s direction. Skillfully and using the focus of her arm, Gine would throw a few more ki blasts at them but the bandits had not given her much time to react before physically closing in on her position. Clearly these guys would not be easily defeated. Gine roared as she sprung from her cover and punched one man straight to the ground before grabbing his gun and using it to fire at the few bandits that had tried to approach her. The rest of the bandits had apparently fled deeper into the cave since she couldn’t see any movement anymore. She would to the edge of the cave and navigated a small maze of sorts until she final found the rest of the bandits. They were kneeling in front of a statue, apparently praying for their lives to whatever god they believed in. Were they going to commit suicide? She started walking to the location so carefully and mostly silently. She could hear the sounds of waves hitting against a shore. She must be close to some sort of lake. The tide’s thunderous booms made it hard to keep her feet stable so she regularly had to change the ki that kept her standing upright. She wondered how these people called this a hideout when the threat of a collapsing cave was pretty much imminent. In the distance she could see the edge of the beach in a half moon, it was indicated that it would be a tough time just hauling all these bodies out of here. In her head she started going over all the things she was supposed to do for the quest. She mentally ticked off the list that had been written in her letter and quickly remembered that she was not supposed to let these guys die. She needed at least one alive! She would quickly speed teleport into the room where they were about to drink some kind of concoction then she would knock the drinks out of one man’s hand. Before he could even make a sound she would squeeze his neck and drag him out of the cave. It was time to bring this guy some good ol’ American justice. 1086 5135 |

Well now that all that was taken care of, she could finally head off towards the shore and start exploring again. It didn’t take long for her to approach a jungle! Whoo, more earth terrain to explore! She eventually saw an abandoned camp which meant she had somewhere to sleep for the night. The color of the tents was a dark green color, also after reviewing exactly which one she would sleep in then decided to go a bit into the jungle. She wanted to look for dead branches, leaves, and even stones to form a campfire. Once she had the ingredients, she made a circle with several stones fill part of among the dead branches and leaves by placing the end to use a ki blast to light the fire. After she got all the camp and food shit taken care of, she flew up to a tall tree then watched the setting sun’s orange glow reflecting in the sea. She headed back down about 20 minutes later to dine quietly. She couldn’t sense so she wouldn’t go wandering around in the pitch black night so she’d have to wait until the next morning to explore any further. So when night arrived, she pulled a sleeping bag out of the tent so she could observe the stars in the heavens. The two jobs she had taken previously did not have much consistency, the town was concentrating so much on finding the bandits and she could only imagine what kind of measures they’d go through just to find some petty criminals. The next morning she woke up inside the tent as the cold and the sea breeze made her run to take shelter. She would shower at sea and go get some fish so she could fry them in the campfire. Today she would begin her exploration of the jungle. She was looking for something she’d never seen before, perhaps some treasure or some sort of natural wonder not available on any other planet. Everything planet had something unique and that’s what she would be lookin’ for. This particular jungle was located on a rather large island with a volcano on it, so maybe she would check that thing out. She would form a perimeter around certain sections of the island to make sure she had marked where she had looked already. She would be revising each one as she continued to explore the jungle looking under logs, small lagoons, and gaps between the trees. She was always on the lookout for things that appeared to be some kind of poisonous or dangerous animal as simple as a spider with deadly sting area. It wouldn’t be the first time she had come across a deadly species on other planets and she was not wanting to put her life in the hands of human doctors. She would travel through the island in a single day for three days with the same routine. She would stop three times per day. One to rest one for sleeping, then lastly one for eating or some other activity. On the third day, when her stomach was full and thirst had been sated, she found an underground spring to swim in a. There was some sort of opening in in this spring where she found a cave that led her to an underground area. there wasn’t anything in particular in here other than some rare insects, but that wasn’t what she was looking for. On the third night she had finished reviewing the first part of the island, the next thing would be to take the next day seriously. She would finally be going down to the middle of the volcano in the giant mountain to look if there caves or rock platforms where she could find something of interest. She would make her way to the natural wonder then carefully lower to the dormant volcano. It would take her at least three days to review this part of the island, yet she did not care because by that time she could sit down and worry about it, it would be time for sleep. When she woke up she drank several bottles of water then looked around for something to refill them with. Mountaineering was going to be a lot harder than she thought, especially since she was still adamant to travel like humans did unless completely necessary. She had to stop several times to rest by shortness of breath and the air so clean it was at altitude her to force her body to other limits. Even so it took her three days to cover the entire middle half to reach the night of day number six. Leaving her clear that she was not complete with even the first two phases of her inspection, there was only to explore the middle area above the volcano and eventually drop by the giant hole in the top to search inside. The next few days would be much more strenuous than others because of the altitude, which is why she would take three days to just check out the other half of the mountain and in a subsequent fourth day down into the dormant volcano. She often stopped to drink more water from canteens was carrying multiple platforms resting on rock that formed irregular getting used in a way to cleaner air. The continuous search until the fourth day where she stay watching the empty giant unhesitatingly use ki to come down since she didn’t want to you know, fall to her death. Eventually she would not be able to go further but she did see a shit ton of stone which meant that this was almost certainly an extinct volcano. The hours passed as she inspected the circumference until she found a very odd pile of dust and dirt. She dug through it using her feet then noticed that there was a letter here with a rather large box. Could this be some sort of treasure? 999 6134 |

Gine opened the letter and read through it thoroughly. It was a short story a massive eagle type creature that had terrorized a town that used to exist on the outskirts of the volcano. The eagle killed nearly every human on the island and this box was time capsule of sorts that was put together by the last remaining survivors. It was quite a saddening tale that these people couldn’t just hire someone like herself to take care of these problems. Perhaps they did not even know that superhumans or other races existed. Well, she would turn her attention to the volcano that was starting to rumble. No way, it couldn’t be going off… this thing looked like it had been dormant for hundreds of years! She quickly turned the letter over to learn a bit more about her whereabouts and if there was anything else. She would be disappointed to see a drawing of a dick butt. Good lord. Anyways, she would open the chest to see what was inside but she realized it was just a cylinder with nothing inside of it. Someone else had been here and had taken whatever treasures had been left from the poor town. Her eyes started to fill with anger as her body began to rise out of he volcano and she landed on the mountainside. she would make her way back to the beach where all her things were, after collecting everything she started thinking what would be the best way to continue the search. There was clearly another adventurer, but whether that person was even still on the island was a mystery. Without the ability to sense ki, she would be searching blindly. The area of the town’s remains was waiting for her or perhaps she expected to find anything in there. She might find some clues again but maybe things could be found with more details about who would have gone adventuring into a god damn volcano. All she had was this letter to continue her research. The ki around her person became stable and prepared to advance on the great sea to travel to another part of the island. It took just over two hours to get to that area, and it was completely destroyed. There was a lot of fog in the area which made it even more difficult to find her way around. It gave a much more gloomy than usual and Gine felt sad as she walked through the huge mountain town. This placed seemed to go as high up as the eye can adding that a thick and deep jungle was woven into the mountainside. She soon realized how tired she was then found a nearby shack to recover in to avoid any mishaps. Hopefully the fog would have cleared by the time she got back to traveling. She looked around and could not detect any human presence with her ears and eyes but she would be alert for any warning that there may be danger. The next day, she would get up and smell some sort of sweetness in the air. When she got out of the cabin, she would see that there were flower petals trailing off into the distance. Was this a clue? She would follow the trail and started looking for any other clues. This seemed way too convenient of a plot point to actually be real. She soon found herself back on the beach which was completely deserted with no person, plant, or animal in sight. With a frown, she would go to the forest and enter hoping she would find the flower trail there. She would be extremely careful and observe everything that was around her quite carefully. She would walk through the jungle paths always being careful and making sure nobody was there. And there she saw it, the flower. When she finally found what she was looking for, she grabbed it and folded it up before stuffing it inside her armor. She didn’t move twenty yards before a deep voice was heard behind her ordering her to stop him. She had been detected at the scene, she did not know how many there were or where they could come but knew that her intentions were not good so wanted to avoid a direct confrontation ran through the dense forest without stopping until she saw the beach. She began running faster running focus ki at the bottom of her feet to withdraw from the island at full speed. When she got back to the town, she was surprised to see that it was absolutely full of people. Was this some sort of illusion? When she had spent the night here yesterday it had been empty, but now the streets of the town were a disaster with desperate people running everywhere. For children this seemed a game which were playing in the mud messing all her clothes, laughing as if nothing happened and they saw how much she had suffered by that flood the town now turned into mud and mud covering the streets of start to finish. She didn’t even know what was real anymore. If she was going to blame anything, it would be this flower. She tossed it and immediately the illusion was lifted to reveal an empty town. Thank god. At least I know I’m not crazy. She would take a break from all this madness and fly away. Fuck the hidden treasure and fuck this island. 913 7047 |

After mentally recovering from that enormous waste of time, she made herself back to the city and tried to find some more work. She walked over to the mayor’s office and saw that there were shit tons of people filling up the streets and making it impossible to get anywhere by foot. With a groan, she would put on a mask and fly into the air and towards the office. She would hear chants about something to do with a lack of cleaning staff in the city. She looked around and there were indeed mounds of trash everywhere. This reminded her of a town she had helped clean a few weeks ago; perhaps she could be of service here as well. Upon meeting with the mayor, Gine found out that the cleaning staff had quit so nobody was left but untrained workers to deal with the trash and mud problem. It was affecting trade and transportation for not only the city but all the surrounding towns and villages. Someone had to be sent soon to clean up the mess so she was given the job out of desperation. The morning started with a great awakening of the sun, soon to be in the top of the sky, the young woman as soon as she could leave her hotel she went to the streets of the town. Her clothing was not her standard battle armor, but heavy duty rubber since this was indeed a dirty job. The young woman had stopped very early, she was still a bit tired because yesterday had a very difficult time mentally adjusting to the flower’s effects. It was for this reason that she felt as though she wasn’t giving this trash job her best. After bathing and eating out of her hotel she would swing by the main street of the town which was the most affected by the mud. Upon arrival could see the people and owners of the premises were outside protesting, the reason was obvious at the sight, but this same annoying the woman. She was already hired to take care of it and these people were only going to make the job harder. It was like they couldn’t help and all they could do was sit around complaining about the problem all day. Humans, she would scoff as she pushed past some with her rubber gloves and rain boots. She looked ridiculous, but she certainly knew how to dress for the occasion. “Relax I’m here to help. Get out of my way you filthy peasants.” She urged the people to go to their homes and let her remove from the streets in peace. She would use a tone of very demanding and arrogant voice, something that would not convince too many people but these people eventually complied Gine finally got to cleaning the mud and found that it was so dastardly that she would literally sink in it as she stepped over it. Yes, the mud was sticky and very heavy. It would be difficult for any normal human to walk through It and the urgency of this task was now plain to see. The mud covered from start to finish as the streets were up 7 blocks. She had to find a way to move the mud without using something as simple as a shovel if she did it in this way would take all day and may not end at time for economic activities began. It was time to develop an unconventional. Quickly, she took a big leap and accumulated ki in her body to stay above the mud without having to touch it with her feet. She began to move her hands performing a flurry of ki attacks. She did not know if this would work but she did not want people to worry. After that she took a sharp jump and hovered in the air over the muddy ground. Within seconds, a blast of hot air came out of her hands directed to the floor, this was not so strong she did not want to damage or burn houses or anything like that. Her energy dan had worked! She fell to the ground and realized that she had managed to clear half of the streets. The people around her were surprised to see how efficiently she had worked, but to be efficient it was not their priority. she turned and perform the same sequence of attacks her ki began to inflate again as she focused her energy dan and performed it using more powerful blasts this time. She would be literally obliterating the mud into tiny specs that would not completely clean the streets, but would definitely make them passable. Within thirty minutes she had blasted away every last bit of the troublesome mud and realized that she had a shit ton more time in her day. So she would help the city people sweep up all the charred mud that was now settling in the streets. She would be able to work with the efficiency of several dozen people so the city folk would fill up barrels and she would simply fly the barrels over to the landfill. Once all this was taken care of, she would make her way to the mayor’s office and pick up her payment that she so desperately needed. Going on grand adventures was pretty expensive and she could barely afford her hotel for the last night. As she started to leave the mayor’s office, the man called out to her and offered her another job. Geeze, she didn’t even want to stick around since she was covered in mud and just wanted a nice shower. Even though she was uninterested, she took the job anyways since there was little she could say if she ever wanted to come back here for work in the future. 975 8022 |

On this occasion her presence was required by the owner of a ramen store. She was supposed to help cook for a wedding and apparently they were severely understaffed. Gine would be required to do dishes, cutlery, glasses and maybe some things for food. It was a very easy job and above all else it was clear. She began to do some dishes once she arrived and got to know a little more about the other people helping out. Most of them were pretty old or really young; typical of a family owned business. By the time that night fell, it was time for her to eat some of the ramen that the company had produced. It was average at best, it was very surprising that someone would even bother hiring a ramen shop to do a wedding! She would reenter the shop and found much disorder. So much so that she was unable to see where she was going. She was then tasked with loading some things into a cart that was on the other side of the street that she would transport a few more blocks down. The wedding was supposedly being held in some kind of park so she would have to make sure no bugs got into it by slipping on an extra lid on every case. They headed back to the ramen stand and this time she loaded the ingredients. She ended up carrying a bag in each hand all filled with noodles. She made several trips back and forth from the stores and the stand, bringing the chefs whatever they needed to make the meal oh so delicious. It wasn’t long before Gine figured out who the bride was amidst all the hectic-ness at the park. All this work was to make sure this fat ass bride would get to eat ramen. Good lord, she must be a whale. Well as long as the bride really loved the ramen she couldn’t complain. Gradually the local shops began to empty, and the wagon, on the contrary, was almost filled with what would be used at the party. Gine would use her superior strength to push the wagon down the street and in a few minutes they would arrive yet again at the wedding party that was finally getting set up. Previously, they had just dumped everything in a big pile but now there were tables and shit for them to lay food out on. The people in charge of the wedding were waiting, impatient as ever for everything to get here. It wasn’t like the ramen people were late, in fact they were early. However the stress of planning this whole ordeal seemed to have put the entire family on their nerves. It didn’t take long to realize that this park was not big enough. 20 tables or so were were filled from end to end, surely the couple would marry was very sociable. They began to carry the boxes and bags to the local cuisine, which was average size, maybe a little smaller than the kitchen of ramen, but comfortable to cook safely. The boss asked her to get the bags with food and ingredients that would be used in the manufacture of ramen, she nodded and started taking confirming slowly lowering them to go bags and place them in the kitchen of the inside first. This time the store owner was not going to help you lose things, because she was going to start cooking and things, and she would leave her forced labor to download all that would need. Gradually it was bringing bags of ingredients, vegetables, pasta and other things that even she knew it needed to prepare a bowl of ramen, just know that these bags were quite heavy, and now that she had to carry everything, she realized that it was quite exhaustive. She doubted any normal human would have been able to pick up the slack as well as she had. They finished loading all the shit into the pots so the Ramen was finally being cooked. The boss then asked Gine to go accommodating the tables, placing cutlery and preparing bowls of ramen, which then would happen with a pot Ramen to serve freshly made dishes. At that time it was already nine o’clock and the guests were beginning to swarm in. It was really quite amazing what the planners had gotten done in this time. What had once been an open park was now covered by a massive tent with doors and everything. Why they couldn’t just get a room was beyond the saiyan; it would have probably been just as expensive to set up this whole tent and air conditioning system. Welp, it wasn’t her place to complain. She would go assist some people who were sitting and blocking the doors of the tent with their shenanigans. She then started to put everything on the table, while the cook finished the ramen. The guests began to accumulate in the door and inside, some already sitting on some of the chairs. Even though everyone had food, not a single person dared to eat as they had to wait for the bride who was to come. There were some kids who kept trying to pour some ‘secret’ ingredients into the ramen pots, but Gine was much too quick for them. Plus, she didn’t have the patience for their bullshit. With a simple glare these assholes stopped and turned back to their chairs. After a few minutes, and all served, the couple arrived and invited the last stragglers to enter. So far, all things had turned out pretty good. Gine went to cook was in the kitchen and asked if she could go. The boss thought a bit and said that yes. All in all this had been an interesting experience among humans. She hoped that she would take jobs in the future similar to this one since it allowed her to experience how humans joined to another in marriage. 1002 9024 |

The next day, Gine would make her way back to the ports and look for some more work. Her pockets were almost overflowing with money from her past few jobs and she only needed another 3-4 jobs before she could finally call it quits for the month. She spoke with one little boy who said his father was an important merchant who was in need of some help loading stuff into a boat. He apparently traveled to many of the strongest countries which meant Gine might be able to ride along and see what other countries were like on Earth. This was a planet of many different species and races, after all. After they figured out where she should go, she would look around to buy some provisions since she had a feeling this wasn’t going to exactly be a cruise she was getting on. It also looked like she would be sharing a room with someone which was the absolute worst! It was unavoidable, however, since she had to spend money to get on the boat and she wasn’t about to drop all she had earned on a ride that wouldn’t even provide her with free food. What she liked about this was that the boat had some sort of anti-tracking mechanisms that would hopefully make her job a lot easier. At the time they reached the end of their short trip onto the boat, there were carts blocking the path. She would follow the man and his son around the carts as best she could then took a quick glance at them. They were completely filled with weapons of various types! Most of the weapons weren’t even normal for humans and Gine thought she even saw some blasters used on Vegeta in the mix. Without making a scene out of it, Gine quickly pretended like she was merely glancing around as she squeezed by and rejoined the other two. Once finished carrying all of their stuff, the child's father approached her asking if she could leave them alone for a moment. He pointed her to another direction and said goodbye to her. Well this was one of the easiest jobs she had ever been on! She wondered why this was such a big deal and they couldn’t just do it themselves. Then she opened the letter with her payment to merely see an IOU. These assholes. Gine power flew into the air then landed right in front of the boy’s father and broke his right arm right in half. The man screamed in pain but by then, Gine had power flew out of sight and onto a different part of the boat. How dare that guy try to use her services for free. Hell, she would have helped for free if they just told her up front, but no. She felt particularly bad for the boy since it must be traumatic to find out that your dad was a pussy punk bitch. The sensation she felt her body could not be described in words as she flew away. The only reason she did so was to get out of the town as soon as possible before someone caught her appearance. Once at the port she would follow the road out of the town along the main street and try to lay low in the trade areas of the port. While she was wandering around, she saw a poster with a notice about some missing person job posting. She decided she might as well help around so she started her search by asking in the stores about whether a person with the appearance and the face in that poster went their way. The people here didn’t know what she was even talking about and Gine didn’t blame them. This place was fuckin’ packed with people and it would be hard to remember anyone’s face. Well, like a good Samaritan, she kept asking for two more hours until she decided to rest on a bench. If she wanted to not find surely she has taken precautions. In front of her, moments later a traveling salesman approached her noticing the expression on her face and he questioned her. He asked why the long face and Gine responded, explaining how people were going missing apparently and she wanted to help them. The ice cream man left his cart for a moment to sit on the bench where Gine was staring the image of the person she was looking for. It takes a few minutes of holding her chin but after a somewhat soothing voice wiykd give her some information that would help. The ice cream man whispered that he had seen such a person back at the port and then gave her a wink. Gine nodded in thanks then immediately took off. Things were getting a little weird with that guy so she wouldn’t want to stick around even if he wasn’t of use. Her steps became slower when she approached the port where boats were constantly arriving and leaving. There were a total of nine vessels each with a different crew and it would be a difficult job to check every single one for the little girl. She didn’t have the time of day to do this so she would have ot think of something else. However, there was nothing that came to mind so she simply walked up and asked everyone she could find. For every ship coming she had to repeat the story over and over again but people seemed friendly enough understanding that just trying to find a little girl that was missing town somewhere. None of the first four had detailed information, at number five one girl who ascended the load recognized the girl as she had seen her face as she approached the port, she would affirm the fruitlessness of her search as she noticed it was time for her lunch. 985 10,009 |
