Goten woke up to the sound of his alarm clock going off. He had set it the night before, knowing that he had to get up early, though that knowledge did not stop him from going out drinking with his friends the night before, coming home to sleep just a couple of hours before the alarm clock told him that it was morning.

Goten grunted and turned around a couple of times in his bed before finally getting up and starting to look for his phone. Goten was certainly not a morning person. Every time he had get up in the morning he told himself that he would go to sleep early, like a responsible person, yet somehow always found himself coming back to his apartment in the middle of the night.

When Goten started going out with his recent girlfriend, Valese, she would get really annoyed at him for always being late when they decided to meet up in the morning.
After a few experiments, she found out that the best way wake him in the morning was to set his alarm clock to the most annoying sound ever and crank up the volume of the alarm all the way up, and then hide the phone as far away from the his bed as was still effective. Since it proved to be an effective method, Goten adopted it himself, placing the alarm clock at a different place each time, making sure to hid it behind something so it would be out of site.

Goten dragged himself from the bed and got up, still groggy he walked around the room, trying to find the phone by moving toward the sound. He knew where it was, as he was the one who placed it there, but he knew that just thinking about it and concentrating on finding it was enough to make sure he would not go back to sleep after turning off the alarm.

He found it after a while, inside one of his shoes at the base of his closet. He grabbed the phone and turned off the alarm clock, let out a sigh of relief as the annoying music finally stopped. He then looked at his phone to see if there were any missed calls or massages, quickly reading the one massage from Valese that said that she is reminding him that they are on for tonight.

He text her back a smiley and a thumb up emoticons, to show her that he saw her massage before placing the phone down on his desk. He picked up some clothes from his closet, a plain white shirt and jeans, and headed into the shower.

He took his time in the shower, allowing himself to fully wake up under the hot water, enjoying the feeling of the water as they hit his skin, cleaning away the dirt that attached it self to him during his bar adventure last night. He made sure to get clean himself properly and to brush his teeth while in the shower before grabbing the towel and getting out of the shower.

Goten got dressed quickly while throwing two pieces of bread into the toaster and making himself a glass of orange juice. He spread some cream cheese on the toast and munched it down quickly, swallowing the entire glass of orange juice in one go.

He cleaned the plate and glass and placed it out to dry. Then he picked up his keys from the table and stopped for a second to make sure that he had everything he needed on him. He took a quick look at the time, happy to see that he was still on time before getting out the door of his apartment, locking it behind him.

Goten made sure to check the mail box for any thing important, throwing all the garbage fliers that he didn't even pay attention to, only to find that like yesterday, there was nothing good waiting for him, only bills.

He placed the bills back inside the mail box and locked it before turning around and leaving the building. He made his way to his car in the middle of the building's parking lot and got it. It was a nice day outside. The sun wasn't as hot as it was in the last few days.
allowing Goten the luxury to drive with open windows instead of turning on the air condition.

Goten inserted the keys into the ignition and twisted them to bring the car back to life. He gave a quick look around to make sure that he could see well through the side mirrors, shifting one of the slightly to the right so that it would be perfect. He shifted into first gear and pressed his foot on the gas, moving toward the main street.

He made the all too known fifteen minute drive downtown to the place he spent most of his time these day, his part time job. Goten was a delivery guy to one of Satan city best pizza parlor. It was a small pizza shop that an Italian immigrant by the name of Stephan opened up a few months ago. The shop quickly became popular thanks to its unique taste and flavor.

The small boutique pizza shop stood on the outskirts of a busy outlet and was a popular food stop for many young people who spent their time shopping. The parlor itself was decorated with many pictures of Italian wonders such as the leaning tower of Pisa, the coliseum and many more ancient ruins. The shop itself was filled with four man tables covered in red and white stripped maps and black chairs with red cushions. Along the walls were red couches for people who were lucky enough to get an outer table, as they were of great quality and provided maximum comfort.

Goten turned the steering wheel to the left and drove the car into the staff parking lot that was positioned behind the parlor. He parked in his usual spot and turned off the engine, getting out of the car and making his way into the back part of the restaurant, glancing at his scooter that was tied to a pole at the end of the lot.

"Well look who it is, and on time too." He heard Stephan's deep Italian voice coming from the kitchen part of the parlor.

Goten was almost always late for work, arriving at work usually between ten to thirty minutes after his shift started. Luckily for him, Stephan loved Goten as he was his best delivery man by far. The half-saiyan was always the top delivery man by far, finishing more deliveries then any other employee every month by a big margin.

Delivery was the best job Goten could have ever hoped for. The job might have paid minimum wage but he more then tripled his income thanks to tips, which were depended on the amount of deliveries he made per shift, which were a lot.

"Don't get used to it Mario," replied the teen as he grabbed his work outfit from the hanging hook and made his way toward the bathroom to change. He called Stephan, Mario as his bosses voice reminded him of the famous plumber from the Nintendo game.

Goten changed to his work outfit and grabbed the keys to his scooter, placing his cloths in his bag and placed it in a locker before heading over to the counter where his orders and delivery slips were waiting for him. He picked up the slips and looked a the addresses he had to deliver to, memorizing them while he formed the best path from the restaurant to all the houses in his head.

He gave Darren, the employee that took the orders, a high five before grabbing the pizzas that were needed to be delivered and stuffed them into the delivery pouch that kept them warm. He then left the parlor through the back door, placing the delivery pouch into the box on the end of the scooter before placing his helmet on and kick starting the scooter.

Goten pushed the scooter to its max, flying down the road as fast as the poor machine could go, cutting left and right, passing by cars and trucks, moving through ally ways and shortcuts to make sure he would pass as little traffic lights as possible. Goten loved being on the scooter, he felt free in ways he only felt when he was flying through the sky, something that he did on rare occasions these days. When he was racing on his scooter, he felt as peace. He knew that thanks to his powers, nothing could happen to him. His instincts were too sharp for any on coming vehicle to hit him, and even if it did, nothing would happen to him. This knowledge made him feel invincible. He would have not stopped at a red if it wasn't for the police, as he not invulnerable to a suspension.

Goten turned from the road and into the parking lot of the first address on his delivery rout. The parking lot was closed with a mechanical bar that only rose with a remote control, so Goten speed toward the bar, moving the scooter sideways and throwing his body backward so that he and the scooter tilted sideways law enough to pass underneath the bar. As soon as they passed through, Goten used his strength to throw himself to the opposite direction, bring himself and the scooter back up right.

He found a good place to stop his scooter right near the entrance to the building and quickly took out the pizza he knew belonged to the people at this address. He stopped only a second to look at the order slip, making sure he did not make any mistakes, before heading into the building.

He entered the white, four story building, passing through the lobby on his way to the elevator, stopping a second to check himself in the lobby mirror. Realizing he still had his helmet on, he clicked on the clips and took it off, pressing on the desired floor.

Goten got out of the elevator when he reached the fourth floor, which was the floor that war written on his notes, and looked around for the door to the apartment he was heading toward. He found it to the left and turned toward it, ringing the bell and taking a step back, waiting for someone to open the door.

After a few moments the door was drawn open to revel a half naked guy wearing nothing but his boxers, his long hair covering half his face. The guy stood at the door and looked at Goten through his bloodshot eyes with a look of confusion, as though trying to understand what he was doing there. After a second the look of confusion changed to that of happiness as his eyes shifted from Goten to the pizza he was holding.

"Ohh sweet man.. Hey Laura," he turned his head around and gave a shout. "Pizza's here."

"We paid with credit over the phone right?" he said as he turned his attention back toward Goten, a small smile over his face.

'Nice try crackhead,' thought Goten to himself as he returned the guys smile and shook his head. There were always these type of people who tried trick him, saying that they already paid with a credit card when they talked ordered the pizza, as if Goten wasn't told who paid with credit and who needed to pay him with cash.

"Sorry man, you didn't pay already. You need to give me cash."

"Ohh I see. Wait a few minutes, I'll go get it," he said as he turned around and walked into the apartment, passing through a door that lead to a some room Goten guessed.

Goten entered the apartment and placed the pizza down on the table, knowing that it could take a few minutes before the other guy would return.

A sudden sound from his left caught his attention, causing him to turn toward the source of that sound. As he turned his head around he saw that the source of the noise was the TV, that was opened. The sound Goten heard was the opening theme of the news that just started.

He was about to turn his attention back toward the door when he spotted something in the news that made him stop and continue to stare at the TV. On the TV screen he could see himself standing on a wooden stage, attacking a group of armed masked robbers as they charged him. Goten saw that in the TV he was wearing a lion mask, which covered his head making him unrecognizable.

Goten remembered the incident. It all happened two days ago when he and his girlfriend went to the Carnival for their one year anniversary. During their time out, a ground of thugs wearing masks attacked the festival to steal a case full of money that was used as a prize for a lottery drawing. Goten 'borrowed' a lion mask and some clothes from a costume stand and confronted the gang, beating them easily.

The entire part of 'beating them easily' was now playing on TV in front of him. As he watched himself attacking and disarming the robbers, the voice of the news anchor came on.

"Who is this mystery man who came out of nowhere to save the day? The newspaper and new coverage has been all over this story, trying to figure out who this new hero is?"

Goten smiled a little as he took in the praise from the news. He had to admit that it did feel good being a hero. He now started to understand what his brother saw in it.
He started turning around back toward the door, starting to think if perhaps he should call out to the guy, as it was already a few minutes since he disappeared. A sudden massage from the TV announcer stopped him dead in his tracks, making him turn immediately back toward the TV.

"We have a spacial guest that is going to revel the identity of this new hero, as well as answer all the questions we have been dieing to know."

Goten stared at the TV in total disbelief. There was no way someone could know that this new hero was him..Could there?

He stared dead ahead, his eyes glued to the TV as the image of his fighting the bad guys, which was now being shown in repeat, became as big as a 10th of the TV screen and moved to the bottom right side of the screen, showing the news studio with the news anchor sitting in the middle behind a desk.

"We now turn to our spacial guest, who turns out, knows this mystery hero," said the news anchor as she turned her attention to the right, appearing to look at someone who was sitting out of screen range. "Good afternoon to you Mr.Satan."

The camera started zooming out, showing Mr.Satan sitting next to the anchor, a big smile on his face as usual.

"Happy to be here. HaHa," Satan replied with his traditional laugh as he lifted his head a little bit. "You probably all want to know who this mystery warrior is ha? Well.. Do not worry, Hercule is here to tell you who this guy really is."

'Could have Hercule recognized me from behind the mask?.. Is that possible?'[/I] though Goten as he stared at the TV, his heart starting to race as he though about what is going to happen. In his mind he already saw Satan saying his name on TV. He could see the news paper filled with pictures of him and of the now not-so-mysterious hero side by side.

"The hero you all saw at the Carnival is...." Hercule let out, pausing to build some suspense.

Goten couldn't breath. He could feel his heart beating frantically against his chest, threading to burst out.

"The hero is...... My student." Satan let out, emphasizing the last part of the sentence. He smiled a big smile, placing his clenched hands on his hips.

"But..." responded the anchor, who looked like he was waiting for something else. "Who is your student, what is his name?"

"It's Liono, didn't you see the tap."

"I mean, what is his real name? Not his hero name"

"What??" shouted Satan. "I can't tell you that. Not everyone is ready to be recognized by the public you know. He wears a mask for a reason."

'He doesn't know.' The thought passed through Goten's head as he let out a huge breath, his entire body started functioning again. The saiyan placed a hand over his heart as he felt it starting to slow down.

"Hey dude listen. We kinda don't have the money you know. Could ya...." Said a voice from behind him.

"Keep the pizza, it's on the house." Goten interrupted the guy who just came out of the room he entered before. He then turned around and headed toward the door.

"Wow really? Thanks man, your the best."

"Yea, yea," replied the relieved saiyan. "Just don't order from us again," he said as he went through the main door, closing the door behind him.

Goten took the stairs down, not feeling like waiting for the elevator this time. His mind wondered, thinking about what just happened and what could have been. He was now well aware that Hercule had no idea who the hero of the Carnival was and that he just took advantage of the situation, as he always did.

Goten reached the bottom floor and exited the stair room and entered the lobby. He wandered what would have happened if Satan did say his name, what would have happened then? He shook his head, clearing the thoughts from his mind. He was in the middle of work, he didn't have time for such disturbing thoughts. He already gave away a free pizza and had to pay for it himself so not only did he not get a tip from his first delivery, he was actually in debt.

Goten got on his scooter, and kicked started it to life after placing the keys in the ignition. He had a long shift in front of him.
