Tien arrived back at his small mountain camp, his body was still feeling the fight between the cyborg, and it was making his flight nearly impossible. Tien had never fought something so strong before in his life; however he knew that it would not be the last time something like this happened, he now knew how quickly something like this could come about and force the innocent people out of their lives and into a battlefield.

Tien threw his sack of provisions onto the course rock bed below him as he dropped down. He sit in a crossed position for a moment letting his body heal up from the flight, he grabbed an apple and began to eat it hoping the nutrients would speed up the process.

“I just do not know how he was so strong I have trained under all the masters and yet I have never been defeated but today I was almost defeated.” Tien could barely stand the thought of defeat, it enraged him so much, he clinched his fists and gritted his teeth as he lay there on the ground recovering, “Am I not meant to be a fighter, is this as strong as I can get?”

Tien stood quickly at the thought, “No I will not believe that, I will be the strongest human in the universe, but first I must master the earth.” Tien flew into the air and began charging energy into his palms, I must learn to focus my energy faster and make it more deadly in combat.

Tien charged and energy wave into his palm, he fired the beam out into the forest watching as the small explosion formed a tiny crater amongst the trees. He was still not satisfied as his power had not grown as much as he needed it to, tien threw up his hands faster this times and fired, resulting in the same outcome.

Tien was so busy firing off energy attacks and training he did not even notice the figure walking upon him, until it was so close he could have touched him. Suddenly a shiver went up tien’s spine, he quickly turned, “Who is there?”

The shadow of the mountain was cast along the tree line making it a little darker than the other areas, but tien still knew what he had to do. He flew over to the shadow with his fists raised into the air, “Speak or I shall flush you out with an energy beam.”

Tien watched as a small figure emerged, “Master Tien, I am sorry to come upon you like this I just did not want to interrupt your training.” Tien dropped next to the person, noticing it was a small boy about ten years old. Tien smiled, “What do you need child?”

The boy removed his hood and bowed to the fighter, “I have come to ask for your help, there is a terrible gang war that has broken out at the capital city, all the diplomatic leaders have been captured by one side, I need your help, we all do.”

Tien nodded, “Can’t the police take care of this situation or the imperial guards?” The boy shook his head, “No tien, these guys are strong almost as strong as you. The police tried to intervene but their efforts were thwarted by the artillery shells the gang has, I am afraid this war will destroy the city before it is over.

Tien could see the fear in the boy’s eyes, “If you are too busy tien I understand, perhaps the army will show up, but even then I think the aliens will destroy them. These gangsters are not regular thugs tien, they are fighters from all over, the aliens did not show up till after the war had already started which makes me think they are the leaders.”

Tien shook his head and looked down at his fists, “Well then in that case it seems I am the only right person for the job, do not worry kid I will be there as soon as possible just tell the officers to hold the line.” The kid nodded and ran back towards the shore.

“Well, looks like my training is going to get a true test and see if it is worth every moment I have spent putting into it. Tien flew into the sky and off towards the shoreline. He peered around making sure all the ones that came with the boy had left, he then flew towards the capital city, in hopes of finding a peaceful solution to this crisis.

He sailed through the air, across the wide blue waters of the ocean, his blood was boiling from anticipation, tien loved a good fight more than anyone else on the planet it was what kept him going on. The mere thought of a fight made him excited to be alive.

Tien flew for half an hour until he reached the shores of the capital city, he then hovered down and peered around to see if anything was happening close by, he could sense a battle on the other side of the city, “I can only hope I am in time.” Tien flew up once more and towards the battle he went.

Tien landed on a building to the south of the fight, he could see police officers standing behind a line of sand bags and fences, they were firing into the streets, another force was just beyond them returning fire, they seemed to have more people but were less fortified.

“I guess this is where I need to start,” tien said as he powered up a small portion, his intent was not to kill but to bring justice to those in need of its teachings. He flew directly overhead and waited; as soon as the policemen got out of the way he slammed into the ground with his fist, forcing a massive crater underneath him.

The firing stopped, “Now that I have your attention, please who is in charge here?” Tien looked around, he saw the police chief come out but nobody from the gang, “Officer, I am here to help. Keep your men out of my way I do not wish to hurt anyone, I am merely here to stop the gangs, I wish to keep the peace and the bloodshed down as much as possible.”

“You must be tien, I have heard of your successes as of late. I am pleased to meet you and welcome your help gladly, I will inform my men to stay back until you have need of us, really anything you need just ask and we shall follow you.”

Tien smiled, “Thanks but I think I can handle a few little gangs and aliens.” Tien began walking towards the gang, they raised their guns and began firing at him, the bullets did not even penetrate his aura, they were disintegrated instantly.

“I will ask no more, where is your leader!” Tien was growing impatient and the lack of respect from his enemies really got under his skin. He continued walking towards the front line, as he did an artillery shell came out of nowhere; tien grabbed the shell midair, “Very well then allow me to blow off some steam.” Tien launched the missile at the back of the line; it exploded knocking most of the gang members in the area away.

Tien looked around, a few remaining thugs stood there watching him closely, he saw one get on the phone. Tien walked towards him until he stood mere feet from them, “I can see you all can’t take a hint, this city is peaceful, I will not allow you to take it from us. Justice will be served one way or another I suggest you give up it would be the safest and least painful.”

He stood and awaited a response, after a few moments he smiled. “Very well then have it your way.” Tien flew in as fast as he could and began pummeling the lowly members, he slammed them through walls of concrete as well as the street itself, battered and bruised the men retreated towards the warehouse on the docks.

“A wounded animal always returns to its den.” Tien fired an energy wave towards the shed, it exploded forcing out a bunch of members. Tien flew towards the warehouse; he hovered there as he looked down at all the bodies lying on the ground around it. “They are not dead but they are pretty pathetic, I just wonder where these aliens are.”

He walked into a doorframe that remained standing upright, the foundation was still intact, however the walls were completely destroyed. He saw as a few were struggling to get away, tien flew in and grabbed them by the shirts and hauled them over to the policemen two at a time. “You guys are getting the lucky treatment; the other one involves a lot of pain.”

Tien turned quickly as he began sensing another power closing in, then two more. “There they are, let’s see how strong we are. Tien flew at the first group that landed, he slammed his fist into their gut, knocking the wind out of them. “So you are the aliens causing all the trouble huh, well your days are numbered.”

Tien connected with a roundhouse kick to the back of one guy’s head forcing him unconscious, he then turned to the rest of them. “I do not see anything too strong for a mere attack to kill them, please bring me more of you.”

Tien flew at the rest of them and began beating them to within an inch of their lives, punch after punch they became incapacitated. He fought them all until he lay the last one on the ground next to the rest of them, then he carried them to the cops to throw in handcuffs.

“Ok officers here are the aliens I am going to grab the other ones now,” tien turned when an officer grabbed him on the shoulder. “Be careful tien, there are more aliens far more powerful than these, these were the grunts not the fighters.” Tien smiled, “Great I had hoped for a challenge when I arrived today and all I got was disappointment.”

Tien flew back and forth with the gang members until they were all in handcuffs and shuttled off to the jail. He stood waiting for the rest of the aliens to show, he knew they were watching but he could not sense them. If they knew how to hide their powers from him they were stronger than he thought they would be, even tien himself has not mastered that trick.

Tien waited for hours for the aliens to show, however they never came. The police finally ordered the victory and took back the docks of the city. “Here tien, if you are going to be our hero and savior you will need a telephone or radio even out in the mountains, I thank you for your services today tien and should those other aliens come back I will let you know immediately.”

Tien nodded, “Very well until then officer, good luck and stay safe all of you.” Tien flew back off towards his mountain with his new radio walkie talkie.
