Beerus stood upon the ledge of the mountain where his camp had taken up residence for some time; he had found the quiet to be rather soothing and helpful for his training. He had not seen civilization in over six months living off the bare necessities to increase his body’s resistance to hunger and famine.

He had continued his training for some time in hopes to become stronger than any other human on the planet, his master had taught him everything and now Beerus must prove to him that his time was no waste.

Beerus gripped his fists together and popped his knuckles, a few moments later he began throwing a few punches at midair, warming up for his next training session. He leapt into the sky launching a kick into the air, followed by a flurry of short kicks.

He landed onto the ground once more and twisted his neck with a sudden jerk. “Let’s see what this day has planned for us.” Beerus jumped down off the ledge where he was standing, he stood there with his arms crossed as he focused his energy for a moment.

He could sense everything around him, some harder than others but mostly critters running around on the forest floor. He was content with this meditation as it not only made his mind strong but his body as well, as he remained in a still state he sensed something foreign enter the forest below his pillar of stone.

“What is this, someone new has entered my grounds.” Beerus leapt down from the pillar and walked towards the forest edge outlying the mountain. He stood there, fists clinched in case a threat approached, he could feel them but they were too far to lock onto.

He squinted his eyes a bit and finally saw a cloaked figure walking through the trees a few hundred yards away. Beerus smiled, “I have you now.” Beerus flew through the trees softly, trying not to make any noise.

He hovered just above the figure, he watched as the figure scurried about on the ground just underneath him, he could surprise them with a kick to the back of the head but he was not about to fight something unless he knew it was evil.

“Hey you,” he screamed as the figure stopped. “I hope this is the way to go.” Beerus dropped to the ground, “Do you know who trains here, and if so then why have you come to disturb my training?” Beerus noticed as the figure approached it was an older woman.

“Forgive me Mr. Beerus; I have come seeking your help.” Beerus bowed, “I am sorry for the introduction, I should have minded my manners miss. What exactly do you need help with?” Beerus held out his hand towards the woman as she grabbed his hand for assistance in stepping up on the rock next to him.

“I am Jenna Markil Mr. Beerus, widow of the late Tatsu Markil; you may have known him for his martial arts, but more for his pride and honor in the rings of the tournaments.” Beerus thought for a second, suddenly it hit him like a train, “Yes, I remember him, he was a great martial artist, he had trained with my master back many years ago. It a shame of his death, what happened?”

Jenna cleared her throat and proceeded to speak, “Well sir, he was fighting in tournaments as he did every year when the blackheart clan entered the fight. After their defeat they followed him from the dojo and teamed up on him. Even though he is a martial arts master their numbers proved to overwhelm him. They overtook him and killed him before anyone could come save him.”

Beerus grew angry, as a fair fight was all he wanted to partake in, no nonsense. “Those monsters, they should be ashamed to call themselves martial artists, the only thing they create is death, murderers.”

Beerus grew angry; his power swelled however he struggled to keep it under control. “I shall find this gang and restore your family’s honor. The woman smiled gently and bowed to Beerus. “Thank you Beerus, I will be forever in your debt, as honor was his greatest achievement in life, and so it should be for eternity in death.”

Beerus nodded, “Do you need help getting back? If you do I can stick around, if not I am going right now to take care of this business.” Beerus hovered into the air as he awaited the woman’s response. “Yes Beerus I can make it back, but if you do not mind giving me a lift to the shores.”

Beerus smiled, “Of course ma’am, I would love to.” Beerus flew off with the woman and took her to the shore where she had a boat waiting on her. Beerus flew towards the city, he knew where the camp might be hidden as it was the only high power levels around the city, so it had to be the blackheart gang.

Beerus’s rage was building as he could barely keep his anger under control, he was trying to leave his old ways in the past and begin being a better person and fighter. Beerus focused on the power levels, he could sense them in the same area but it was not inside the city, it was a few miles on the outskirts.

“What are they doing?” Beerus did not like the looks of it, but he knew it had to be done, so he continued flying until he reached the shoreline where the city lay just past the beachhead. Beerus hovered down slowly, waiting as his boot soles slowly and gently touched the soft, yet hot sand of the beach. He looked around, watching for any signs of movement as maybe some locals could point him in the right direction, however it seemed to be a baron wasteland of sand and coral washed up onto the shore.

“Well, I suppose I will have to get my feet wet this time, even though I can sense their powers close, I cannot pinpoint them as I normally can.” Beerus flew into the air once more and off towards the forest where he felt the strongest power pulsating.

“Maybe this one knows where the rest are, regardless I have to face them all and make them pay for what they have done.” Beerus flew through the trees as fast as he could, keeping his eyes on the forest floor, when suddenly he lay eyes upon a hooded fighter standing next to a tree.

“There, he is stronger than the average human; he must be a member of the blackheart gang.” Beerus hovered closer, he was not sure if the fighter could sense him or not. As he approached the hooded figure, he noticed he was alone; Beerus looked around in all directions but could not sense anybody else. “Very well, let’s begin better now than later.” Beerus dropped in next to him, “So you are part of the gang of cowards that killed Tatsu Markil, a very respected man in martial arts and a friend of my mentor, it seems justice will find its mark on everyone regardless of how deep you run.”

Beerus stood there in front of the fighter with his fists clinched into knots as he awaited the response that would inevitably come. “Well now, if it isn’t a fellow fighter, move along kid if you know what is good for you.” Beerus remained still, hi long brown cape flapped in the cool air, as his green pants whipped around, along with the white tank top he wore.

“I do not have time for this, against my better judgement I am going to let you live, but you must turn yourself in to the police immediately, and should I find out you broke out before your time I will hunt you down and kill you.”

Beerus could sense his power rising, he was readying an attack. Beerus smiled, “I would not go through with your plan of attack friend, unless you want to get defeated in battle.”

Beerus stood there watching as the fighter got into a more mobile stance, “Very well, I can see like a fly on a turd you will not leave.” Beerus shook his head, “Never until the job is done.” The fighter smiled and rushed Beerus quickly, he leapt to the side and threw a hard punch into the fighter’s gut, feeling his bones crack as the fist entered his intestinal tract.

The fighter immediately fell to the ground, “Ok, I give I will go to the police and turn myself in.” Beerus shook his head, “Not now, this time you must help me find your friends before I head back, and you are coming with me.” Beerus smiled, “After I beat upon you some more.” Beerus threw a hard kick into his side, crushing as many ribs as he possibly could before he dropped him to the ground.

The fighter struggled to move, Beerus placed his foot on the back of his head, “Now where are your friends?” The fighter nodded, “I will show you sir.” Beerus picked him up and flew off towards the direction he pointed.

After a few minutes of flying they arrived at another camp, Beerus noticed four men standing guard outside a tent, he could feel their powers were strong but the one in the tent was not, unless he was hiding it.

Beerus threw the fighter to the ground and watched as the others ran over and knelt down next to him. They all looked up at Beerus, “Well look what the cat drug in, I do not know how you defeat Paul but it will be the last thing you ever do kid.”

Beerus smiled, “Yeah that’s what he said.” He dropped to the ground, “So who am I making a fool out of first?” Beerus looked around and felt the weakest of the men; he flew in towards him and slammed his right foot into his face, sending him flying backwards into a tree, knocking him out cold.

Beerus readied another attack as he sensed the others coming up behind him. He quickly spun around and slammed a foot into another fighter’s gut, sending him through the air and into the tent where the leaders sit. It collapsed, the other fighters stopped and turned as a yell came from the tent.

The fighter was thrown back out onto the ground where he lay spitting up blood. “Who dares interrupts my council?” A buff fighter stepped out of the tent, “We are sorry lord, but this man came and attacked we tried to hold him off but he proved much stronger and faster than we thought.”

The leader smiled, “Well then, I guess it is a pleasure to meet you sir. What is your name?” Beerus nodded, “Beerus, but I do not think you will live long enough for it to matter.”

The warrior smiled, “Perhaps, but many have tried to kill me and failed as well.” Beerus shook his head and walked over in front of the man. “I do not fail when it comes to fights.” Beerus squared up against the leader.
