“Kurone I’m not sure she wants you to do that,” Gine said but Kurone seemed to ignore her and began to purr. Gine sighed and turned her attention to Beerus again and continued, “besides, if you’re hell bent on going to this thing today and finishing it,” Gine spread her wing, slowly so as not to damage the shelter, “I can fly above the storm. This won’t be very beneficial to you two as I won’t be able to scout through the clouds or whatnot, but I won’t be slowing you down at all. And GJ,” Gine said, turning and smiling at the girl, “even when I was on Vegeta I was rather different, wearing strange clothes was a normal occurrence for me when I was not in uniform, and let’s face it, the Yaid uniform was obviously designed for men.”

Gine was something else. The woman was a soldier, and though Cisco had worked with her many times, he knew that soldiers weren't exactly people you got to hang around with on a daily basis. He shrugged at Gine's comment about staves, she even decided to add, "Yeah.mostly its only YAID that uses staves in Yaid. Not only am I practically the only girl in Yaid, but the only one using a weapon too." Gine examined Cisco’s gun. It was a handgun, so naturally he was inclined to disregard its firepower.

She was picky about staves herself. She would only use her son’s power pole. This third Class Yaid wouldn't hound her friend much on how great her weapon was in comparison to that lowly staff GJ had. It was probably useful in its own right. "Who is Chiro?" She actually didn't know much about the soldiers anyways. She might have been In Yaid for a good while now, but she was still a very low rank and didn't have much knowledge about.well just about anything. Its not like Yaid was party to tell its lowest ranking members all of its darkest secrets or anything like that. "Is he a soldier too?"

Then again.the soldiers are supposed to be a special operative organization, even if they are supposedly the talent search group for Yaid. Cisco had met a SOLDIER when he joined Yaid, but not Chiro. Or maybe she had met Chiro? Gine couldn't even remember the name of the person that inducted her into the program. Maybe it was because Mostly, Bosses paid her way into Yaid. So she should have been grateful to that man for at least that much. Gine shrugged at Cisco, GJ, and Beerus "Chiro? He's probably a soldier." Cisco rolled his eyes, well of course she knew Chiro would be a soldier, because they were talking about soldiers, well kind of.

"Bleh, you're just another giant sword wielding loser, what do you know?" She teased to Cisco. Cisco shrugged, "I know this land pretty well for starters, and my sword isn't that big." That was an understatement. Cisco had the biggest sword the group had ever seen. Not only was it as thick width wise as he was, but it was twice his height. It was so big that it needed to be folded several times before he could reasonably carrying it around without killing someone. "Not that big." Gine shook her head at the other people in the enclosure as she gently prodded Kurone away from her power pole.

"Yes.that's okay." Beerus was telling the little creature. "Aww.look he's all fuzzy and cuddly." He grabbed the creature and embraced it for the first time that day. He cuddled Kurone to his cheek. No matter how hard he tried to be a god, he couldn’t help but indulge in these human exchanges. Although maybe he was squeezing a bit hard? But he couldn't help it. Maybe it was the childish nature in him that made him attracted to cute things. "The tough 3rd Class Yaid crumbles for a cute fuzzy floaty." Beerus commented, hitting the thing on the head. He looked up at him with a glare, "Pffft." He blew the other Yaid off like his entire comment didn't matter, but it clearly did because he stopped cuddling Kurone and let it go. He took a sigh before deciding it was time for the group to make up their minds about what they wanted to do.

"Well, if we leave right now ~ Sure we'll get their sooner.but well.I mean.we could probably use Gine for a scout." If he hadn't seen Gine fly with that one ability before, she probably wouldn't believe that she could fly. A single ability flying doesn't really make sense, but somehow it happens. Cisco nodded to Beerus, "Its not like we're assaulting a fortress though. Dawn is just a town, I'm sure the gates of hell are wide open for anyone who wants to partake." Beerus gave a wiry smile, "You're probably right." Cisco scratched the back of his head, "Our priority once we arrive should probably be to find out where the scientist is. I doubt that Erik Dawn is feeling like bargaining, and I'd rather not leave a nice young woman to her fate in such a place."

Beerus had enough experience with this kind of place where she didn't have to try very hard to imagine what they would do to the scientist. "Okay then. So we'll continue through this ki and arrive as soon as possible." Cisco nodded at him and then turned to Gine, "Be careful." He warned her. "Okay lets go." Cisco was the first to exit. He returned to the wailing winds of the harsh weather and began to march forward. Beerus picked up the heat stick that he had dropped earlier and handed it to Gine. He had a shy smile on his face. Afterwards Beerus grabbed his rations, wrapped it around his back and neck and pressed out into the snow as well.

Kurone mewed happily as Beerus began to cuddle with him and Gine smiled a bit, “Chiro is a Soldier,” she answered, slipping the weapon back into the holster, “the leader of the Soldiers to be exact,” Gine then remained silent as they began making their plans. Kurone mewed sadly when GJ let him go and continued to try to rub against her chin, purring encouragingly, trying to be petted again. Gine walked forward and snatched him from the air. And put him against her wrist. He fused with it and crawled up her arm to come to rest on her shoulder. Gine then accepted the heat rod as the two Yaids began their trek outwards. Gine slid the heat rod unceremoniously into her shirt to keep her center warm. She exited the building after the two of them and spread her wing.

The ki caught on her blasts and tried to blow her away but she spread her feet and braced herself against the wind. She had a heat stick, this storm would no longer bother her as long as it was working. Her sharp eyes caught the two figures disappearing into the ki and she lifted from the ground and flew to GJ’s side, catching her shoulder, “you left before I could tell you. I can probably get into the inside,” Gine demonstrated by changing her hair black and her eyes brown, “I can infiltrate and find the scientist while you create a distraction, or I can create a distraction and you can find her, which ever you think will be best.”

She felt Kurone move to the center of her chest to the heat stick. She wasn’t sure why, not entirely sure that the creature could feel warmth or cold. But then again, she had also assumed that it couldn’t eat, or speak, or think intelligently, or change its shape, all things that were proven it could do, so perhaps it also felt warmth and frigid temperatures. However as she thought about this she reached down her shirt and pulled Kurone off her skin and out of her shirt, “if you choose to go after the scientist yourself, take Kurone as a guide, he’ll protect you, though he can’t really do much, and he can lead you to where she is. He understands more about this world than I can even comprehend, he will find her.”

“Tell me what you want done.” It was back to the winds beating against their faces. GJ didn't think he could see Gine even if she did turn around to look.besides, the woman was supposed to be flying above the storm. Somehow. Things looked much the same in the snowy land here. Snow.Snow.More snow. Beerus and Cisco however, seemed to know exactly where they were going. GJ just figured that he would follow behind the man until they reached their destination. It wasn't a very pleasant trip by ground, but then again, it must have not been very pleasant above the storm either.

Fortunately GJ was dressed for this kind of weather, so aside from the fierce wind biting at his ears it wasn't that big of a deal to him. "WE'LL BE THERE IN AN HOUR OR SO!" Cisco was yelling over his shoulder to GJ. He nodded absently and continued walking. Walking.and walking. It would be terrible to actually arrive at this place, because GJ knew she was going to be really tired when they got there. 'I don't know if I'll be much help once we arrive. Walking so many miles in a storm probably wasn't a good idea after all.' But this was were the question arose.

GJ had been walking for miles yesterday as well.through even worse weather. Why was he so exhausted from this much? GJ was begining to think that there was something wrong with him, and quite possibly he was going to check into the demon clinic after she got back to hell. "HERE WE ARE!" Cisco announced at last. This was the outskirts of Dawn, a large fortification standing out against the snow.

This place almost seemed mystical as through its gates it was warm.Ravens littered the place like garbage. They sat everywhere and were completely unfazed that people were so close to them. GJ couldn't help but eye them curiously. "Okay. So we're here." GJ said, he was slightly out of breath but was trying his best not to show as much. He of course was going to let Cisco and Beerus take the lead like they naturally were right now. He didn't even think he could come up with a reasonable plan with how foggy his thoughts were from being tired.

"Okay.Where's Gine?" Cisco asked looking around. Beerus simply shrugged, It was a little warm here.it must have been some serious artifact put into use for this place to be so hot outside. "Odd." Beerus muttered stripping off his heavy coat. Cisco did much the same, revealing his monstrous weapon. He unfolded it so that its full length was revealed. He settled it upon his shoulders. "Okay. I'm better as a distraction. I'll take on the guards while you guys and gal go ahead and take care of the Scientist." Beerus gave him a look, and he chuckled, "Hah, don't worry about me, I'm a grown man. I can take care of myself." He marched inside of Dawn determined to cause trouble, and no doubt he would find it without trying hard.

The inside of this fortress was.sinful to say the least. Vulgar images covered the walls and from cages hanging off of the ceiling were women hardly clothed dancing. There were tables everywhere and hardly anyone aside from the guards seemed sober. Cisco made good on his word and began to cause Trouble. "THINK YOU'RE SO TOUGH BECAUSE YOU'RE WITH Yaid?!" Beerus heard a man yell. The brawl was on. The Guards were trying to deal with Cisco and his really obnoxiously big sword giving Beerus and Gine the perfect chance to do whatever they wanted. "Okay.lets split up and use Cisco's distraction to find the Scientist I suppose."

Beerus jogged down one side of the building and began to follow through the corridors, checking each door. 'The scientist will most likely be in the dungeon of this evil castle.' She thought to herself. 'I think I just have to find the stairs down.' Good thing Gine had lifted up above the storm for a while, having mapped out the general direction they were going and following the same one. Kurone was there to keep her on track. When he suddenly dived to the ground she did as well, catching him in her hands and flipping to land on her feet beside Beerus.

The two fighters were disrobing, as the castle they were in front of was giving off a lot of heat. Gine looked at the castle and the raven surrounding as she drew her sword from her back and began putting artifact into the handle. Cisco volunteered to be the distraction and waltzed into the castle, within moments the distraction took place and people were rushing to Cisco’s position.

“He better not die,” Gine growled to herself, putting her power pole back in its place, “I kind of like him, he’s an ass though,” Gine looked over at GJ and followed the Yaid into the castle. She winced slightly and stared wide eyed at the pictures at the walls and sneered slightly, “Bae would not like this place at all,” Kurone floated past her and past GJ and began to sniff the air, “he’s trying to find the scientist, Gine clarified, walking up next to GJ, “but bet he can’t discern anything in this place,” it was taking all of Gine’s will not to retch on the floor. The scent was horrible and it was making her eyes water.

They were supposed to split up and began running in a certain direction. Gine watched her for a moment and then began to walk in the opposite direction muttering, “after this is done I’m burning this place down, they can blame it on my ‘insanity’ later,” Gine took Kurone and set him on her shoulder. She tried to think logically about the situation, but in a place where logic was put on the backburner it was difficult to do. The bare instincts of mankind ruled here; lust being the most prevalent apparently. It was only a matter of time before someone said something stupid.

“Hey there,” came a voice and Gine stopped, her hands balling into fists. She turned so that she could look behind her at a scruffy man holding a beer bottle. He was sweating all over, and one word came to mind: pig. “I’m not sure if you’re a pretty lady or a pretty boy, but I really don’t care. I’m hot something fierce, care to help me cool off?” Gine sneered and her pupils slitted for a moment. She fished her phone out of her pocket and dialed GJ’s number, holding it to her ear, “GJ,” she said when the demon picked up, “now I’m a little shaky on the rules of this mission, I haven’t been on one in a while you see. so are we allowed to kill whomever we want?”

This place was much like the shit hole GJ had grown up in. It was slightly sad, but GJ was desensitized to these kind of things. Even so, GJ was no longer a weakling, he was a Yaid. The woman opened up a door. Blinked. Closed the door. '.Wow.' He shook his head and continued down his section of the building. There was a loud thump and some cheering. GJ looked backwards down the hall he had come from and hoped sincerely that Cisco was alright. He didn't have a good reputation of..well.for surviving. 'Ugh.why am I feeling so ill?' GJ shook the nausea from his head. He had to keep going at least until they found the scientist. He found that he was sweating heavily even though he didn't actually feel that hot.

"What the hell.did I catch a fever or something?" GJ took a deep breath and began to use the wall to support herself as he dragged himself across the hallways looking for the set of stairs that he imagined would lead to the dungeon. Was the Dungeon really where the scientist was being held? GJ stopped, he rested with his head against the wall for a minute before deciding that his determination to complete the mission was greater than the ills that had begun to befall him. He gritted his teeth and stood straight up. He pursed his thin lips together and pressed forward when suddenly his phone began to ring.

The obnoxious ringing filled his ears until he reached down into his robe pocket and pulled out the phone and pressed the talk button. "Hello?" He sent his greeting into his phone. "GJ here." It was the voice of Gine. “Now I’m a little shaky on the rules of this mission, I haven’t been on one in a while you see. so are we allowed to kill whomever we want?” GJ furrowed his eyebrows and thought for a moment. A long moment. It was really hard for him to think about this for some reason. It made him frustrated.

"What? What kind of question is that?" he asked, 'Gah.what am I saying?' he took a deep breath and pressed his forehead into the palm of his hand. "Okay.okay.okay.just hold on." he thought hard, staring at the wall like this was the obstacle placed in his mind preventing him from bringing up a valid answer. "Umm.kill people on missions.okay." Suddenly something snapped as if the mental barrier preventing GJ's answer gave way. "We have authority to take any necessary actions to rescue the scientist." GJ blurted quite suddenly. "Was that all you needed?" GJ questioned into the phone.

The demon continued his pace, waiting for the answer to his own question. 'I didn't step into any traps.I am definitely not drunk. I haven't even met anybody, how could I be Kuroneed?' GJ wondered to herself. 'I think.Yeah.I'm just sick. Why the hell am I sick? I was wearing clothing that kept me warm even in that ki, I hardly felt a scrap of cold. 'GJ held the phone to his chest and so he could take a deep breath, before putting the phone to his ear again. "Okay.well.I think that since this is a castle.there are probably two places that the scientist could have been taken." GJ began to explain.

"I believe that he may either be in the dungeon, or perhaps where ever Erik Dawn is. Since he is the one who captured her." GJ peeked down a four way split in the hallway he was walking down. he shifted his head from the left to the right as he searched for.well.just for something. 'Dang it.Where could they have put him? Where is the dungeon? Where is Erik Dawn..?'

Gine listened to GJ and her brow furrowed as she listened to the demon and got a sense that something was wrong. The pig in front of her rubbed his nose on his arm but stopped when Gine’ hand shot up holding up her index finger. Finally GJ answered her question and asked of there was anything else Gine needed. The answer was a strike with her power pole and Gine holstered the weapon as the body of the man hit the ground.

“No GJ that was all I needed,” she said and turned around to continue down the way she had been heading. GJ was speaking again, saying that the scientist was either in a dungeon or with the namesake of the castle. Gine nodded and hummed to say she understood the information given. “Alright so figure it out, got it,” Gine looked up at where she was and her pupils slitted as she focused and tried to see if she could sense where the person she was looking for. But to no avail.

Gine sighed and tapped Kurone on the head and he changed his form slightly then plopped onto the ground beside her in the shape of a Doberman. He sniffed the air then began to sniff the ground and Gine followed him. It was only a matter of time before someone came running at her screaming. “Hey you! You’re not allowed to be in here!” Gine watched him approach then she grabbed his arm and sidestepped him, turning her body to be behind him and twisted his arm behind his back. She stopped as her eyes widened and her right eye twitched for a moment before she took a step back and pulled out her gun, shooting the man in the back of the head.

“GJ,” she said into the phone, “you were right, she’s with Erik, we better hurry, she’s in bad shape,” Gine’ pace quickened as she went through the hallways. She knew exactly who she was looking for, somehow seeing everything she needed to know through the man, as well as some other things he had done in his lifetime, the reason she had shot him. She could not explain, nor did she question how and what she had seen, only understood that the situation was more dire than she had first thought.

He jumped. The weapon shot through the other side of the phone cleared his senses. GJ shook off all the nausea that had been encompassing her just a moment before. 'Ugh.What was all that?' He asked himself, not at all concerned about Gine's decision to fire at someone. 'All that Nausea.where did it come from and why was it so intense?' GJ frowned to himself as he thought the matter over. GJ looked through the hallways more clearly now. The demon lifted his staff up with one hand while holding the cell to his ear still. He started to press forward down this way and that searching the rooms as she passed. Not that GJ wanted to see what was on the inside of most of the rooms.

"Nothing on this end really." That was truth too. A room full of high people was exactly appealing to GJ's senses at the moment. He listened hard for any sign of Cisco back near the entrance, but didn't hear anything. It was probably because he was too far away at this point. He really hoped that Cisco was alright. He was tired of going home alone. Once again, this group didn't have the most. well they didn't have a very good record of survival. GJ scoped a couple of more rooms before deciding to make a move towards Gine. He found the stair case to the dungeons that he had been looking for and slowly started to descend down there.

This is about when GJ heard through the phone Gine mentioning somehow that the woman was with Erik Dawn. "What? How did you find out?" GJ asked climbing back up the stairs, he looked down either path before him and decided to take the one that lead him towards the flight where Gine was.

"What's your position? I'm making my way to about where you are." Beerus told Gine through the phone. 'This is about the most I've ever used my phone.' Beerus thought to himself. They simply didn’t have these sort of devices on many other planets. 'Kind of sad, but most of the time, my conversations are short and concise.' The demon hybrid took a turn down a hallway and knocked a fellow against a wall with his fist. "Outta the way." He yelled at the man. 'Did Gine find them already?' "Do you know where Erik Dawn is?" He asked over the phone. "Are you close to him right now?" 'Why would Erik abuse the Scientist the way he is? He is a valuable asset. Yaid would bend over for a Scientist. Not so much for a valuable Yaid. If a Yaid ever got caught they might as well consider themselves dead.' Beerus lifted his fists quickly as something beastly popped out in front of him.

It was Cisco. "BEERUS!" He shouted. "Look out!" He told him, grabbing his shoulder and starting to lead him back the way he had come. Beerus looked over him shoulder and noted the guards chasing after them. "Gine, I just ran into Cisco. I don't think Dawn is over here, but I'll try and see if we can't rendevouz with you." Beerus said into the phone before lowering it from him ear and used the top of him forearm to steady himself. He pulled hupself up and unleashed a flurry of punches. 'Mortals can't deal with the power of my legendary punches. Especially not when I'm packing this kind of firepower into them. It’s quite convenient!”

"Okay, Listen up Cisco, I think Gine figured out where the scientist is, we need to meet up with him if at all possible." The man nodded to the Yaid. "Roger that Beerus. Which way do we go?" Beerus pointed down the hall where Cisco had come from. "Back there?" Beerus shrugged, "Know any faster way?" Cisco shook his head. "Away we go then!" They charged down the hall.

“No I haven’t found them I,” he wasn’t exactly sure what he had done but then shook him head and explained in a way that made sense, “interrogated one of the men. He says that they arrived here with the scientist who was then taken by Erik, said that he looked pretty beat up as if he had struggled. I don’t know this Erik guy but I have a bad feeling about what is going on.”

Gine stopped walking when Beerus told her that he was going to find her. Gine looked around at her surroundings and tried to find identifying markers of where she was. She could sense both of the demons moving, but did not say anything about it being easier for Gine to find them. She trusted Beerus, but GJ was another story entirely. She did not know what he was capable of, and what he would do to gain her favor. You could never fully trust a full demon.

Gine groaned and gave up trying to figure out where she was. She also looked around for other people, understanding that by touching someone she could see their memories. If he came into contact with the right person, he could probably find out where the scientist and Erik were. With a thought Gine lifted her hands firing an energy dan into the ceiling, counting ten seconds between every blast. This would one, give away him position to Beerus and Cisco, and two, attract anyone else to him position as well.

Luck was on her side, several men came running towards her screaming and she lowered her weapon to take care of them. Humans seemed to be easily taken care of now, only encountering one that could defeat her, though she wondered if Erik could be considered human anymore. After the people were on the ground she grabbed their arms and saw their memories, only getting valuable information from one. Watching as he accompanied Erik and the scientist up a tower and standing in front of the door for a while before switching with someone else. She lifted her hands and fired off the last of her energy blasts, hoping to lead GJ and the rest towards her where she could share what she had learned.

"I'll cover our butts." Cisco told GJ, he followed behind his as he slipped his cell phone away so he could appropriately carry his staff. GJ might have had some energy induction but he was by no means the strongest member of Yaid. It was difficult for his to carry his weapon one handed as it was. This was a pretty heavy Staff. GJ looked over his shoulder and noted that Cisco simply slung his weapon over his back so that the massive weapon created a wall between them and their pursuers fire. "Well so much for my distraction." Cisco complained as bullets began to ricochet off of his gigantic weapon. GJ placed a strange object into his mouth as he charged down the hallway, he slide to a stop and Cisco ran into his knocking him over. "Whoa! What's wrong GJ?!"

He asked inquisitively, standing up, he immediately turned to face the attackers. He held his blade in front of him to take the fire before running up and cleaving the entire hallway in half. "This is why I'm not suited for these special operations so much." He reminded GJ. he smiled at his partner as he stood up. He was definitely strong on terms of pure strength. Skill was still something he was working on, but that was something everyone was always working on. "Stairs." GJ told him pointing up the hallway he just collapsed. "Here, hold your sword out like a bridge so I can run up." he told him. He nodded and took a knee, carefully leveling his sword with the second floor. GJ stepped onto Cisco's shoulders before running up all the way to the second floor like he had planned. he checked the area around and gave Cisco a thumbs up. "Thanks Cisco!" He gave his one back, "Good luck GJ!"

GJ pulled out his cellphone again and redialed Gine. "Okay Gine.I'm on the second floor now." GJ looked around, truthfully it was much of the same. "Cisco was so kind as to custom make a set of Stairs for me." GJ began to dash through the hallways again. he looked down the left and right before speeding down to his right. This place really bothered his in that there was hardly anywhere to hide. If you wanted to get anywhere you had to stand out in the open where anyone could shoot at you. he began to kick in the doors as he went, checking the insides. One of the doors he kicked open was filled with guards. "Crap." GJ cursed as he once again began to run. he tried to take cover down another hallway but skidded to a halt when he saw that there were even more guards over here.

'I don't have enough fire power to deal with all of these guys.' he thought to himself. "Well, at this point Gine." GJ said through the phone while machine weapon fire filled up the background, "I'm not sure have the slightest clue where I am, or how to find you." GJ took cover within a nearby room and noted that there was laundry chute. he climbed in and slid down into a pile of.well lingerie.? GJ stood up with a thong on his head, and with disgust pulled it off and dropped it onto the pile. 'eww.' he thought. The demon went towards the only door to the room and opened it, and saw Gine. he hung up his phone. "Well Never Mind. It looks like I found you." GJ told his as he ran along side her. "Okay so what's new?"

Gine looked over at GJ as he randomly came out of a room. She looked past the demon and saw that there was no door on the other side of the room, so had to wonder how GJ had come out of it. Then he noted the laundry chute and dropped the thought process. he directed his attention back to GJ and said, “I figured out where they are,” he said turning and going back down the hallway, “would you believe the highest room in the tallest tower?” as Gine spoke a whole bunch of guards piled in on both sides and Gine had barely enough time to wrap her mind around the situation.

“Making friends are you demon?” she asked, wincing slightly as bullets penetrated into her armor. Then suddenly one of the bullets ricocheted off as Gine charged a few ki blasts. Then the hairs on her head stood on end as ki blasts shot out, cutting down and exploding everyone in the vicinity. When Gine uncurled her grasp from the allies, the hallway was covered in blood and bodies were strewn everywhere.

“This way GJ,” she said and made her way down the hallway. Kurone ran alongside GJ’s side before jumping up and curling into himself and turning into a very small creature, resembling a baby wyvern. It creeled and flapped its membranous abilities catching up to Gine and clasping onto her hair. Gine navigated her way through the hallways using the map she had found and finally came to a spiraling staircase. Gine paused to look up the stairs as far as she could before looking at GJ and Beerus. “It’s too narrow for me to use my power pole,” she said, “and I’m too tired to use ki right now, it’s best if you go ahead. There are a few guards spread out along the stairway, two guarding the door, be ready.”

He wasn't quite sure what to say since he hadn't exactly seen something like this. He was pulled out of him daze when Gine began to lead the way. "Roger." Beerus told the woman. He followed the black haired woman through the corridors and towards a spiral stair case. The hybrid almost had to skid to a stop since he had been distracted. He was watching Kurone curiously as it had flown by him side and then started clinging to Gine's hair. Beerus wasn't sure what he would do with a creature like that, if he had one that is. 'Gine acts like its cute for a little bit but then it gets annoying if you hang out with it for long periods of times. But he must like it, otherwise why keep it around?' "Right I understand." Beerus responded to Gine. The Saiyan stranger, despite all of him abilities probably would have trouble with such a space, but Beerus on the other hand. well needless to say it didn't take too much skill to shoot a person in front of you.

The Hybrid approached the stairs first, passing Gine. Beerus was determined to show the calm and skill that being a demon/celestial brought him. He fearlessly ascended the steps, though cautiously. Him fist raised carefully, ready to meet any oncoming guards with a bullet. It was him luck that he didn't meet anybody coming down the stairs, but when he emerged on the upper floor there were plenty of guards that had intended to use them. Beerus smacked a guard with the back of his fist before raising him to his eye and pulling the fist back again. A flash of light accompanied the smell of burnt flesh as a blazing fist emerged from out of nowhere and bit into the enemies before him.

The man he had hit with the attack began to recover and was about to make his next attack while Beerus was rearing back again. The Hybrid casually swept his feet from out of him. He placed a new bullet into the center of him fist while simultaneously pressing him knees against the guards arms so he was now sitting upon his chest. The Hybrid lifted his fists was more and fired off a few more punches that caught fire due to the speed of the attacks. The flesh of all that stood within the hallway was now gone. The cone of death that fired from the knuckles on his fists was more than enough for the mortals that had been sent to deal with them. Not to mention Beerus's skill with fisticuffs was probably beyond that of anyone in the area. Considering that everyone in this place used swords and weapons, Beerus felt like it was an empty compliment.

"Hello." He told the man, whose chest he was sitting on. He reached backwards to his belt and pulled some bullets from small lips across the side. "What kind of bullets do you think Cisco uses? These guys only have 10 Millimeters." Beerus told Gine. The hybrid placed a weapon to this man's head as he slowly stood upon his arms. The woman placed a standard bullet into him fist before pulling out a small knife that he had in him boot. He slit his throat. He didn't look twice at the man's face. He didn't care who he had been, or where he had come from. To Beerus he was just an enemy.'Sometimes I forget that if I don't want to hurt myself I just have to stop caring. The sooner I learn this lesson the sooner.' Beerus wiped the blade clean on the dead man's shirt before tucking it back into him boot. "Which way now?" He questioned Gine.

Gine followed GJ and Beerus up the stairs and stayed back as GJ killed everyone on the floor they came upon. When GJ asked her what kind of bullets Cisco needed Gine thought back to the last time she saw him reload his gun, “I’m not quite sure,” she said honestly, “Soldiers are required to carry a handgun at all times. Whether they know how to use one or not is another matter. I was one of the ones that didn’t really know much about his.”

Gine herself had a similar gun to Cisco’s so she’d check that one. She slid the clip back in and bent down to check the size of the bullet. She compared the numbers to the gun, “the numbers on my shells say .45. This one says .10. That’s too small I think,” Gine stood up and slipped the weapon back in its holster before turning to GJ who had killed the man, “I’ll be alright, if anything I can shoot more ki blasts at people. This way,” Gine walked across the room to another staircase and stepped aside to let GJ on ahead. It was the same sort of scenario as the last staircase, although Gine’ power pole was strong and blunt enough to whack through stone like a hammer butter, she did not feel like bringing the entire castle down in order to save one employee of the science department.

As Gine followed she stopped suddenly and looked at the ground. Why was she helping Yaid recover one of its employees? Why was she following a Yaid around who could very well turn around and plug a bullet in her head, “GJ,” she said looking up at the demon. She didn’t quite no what to say so hesitated, “Yaid. isn’t pleased with my existence. I’ve done things they find unfavorable. You’re well on your way to becoming first class I can tell. Soon, you might be coming to hunt me,” Gine looked at her newfound partner and her eyes were glowing slightly with ki.

“.45? I should have guessed as much for a hand gun.” GJ nodded to Gine, expressing his very limited weapon knowledge. Truthfully GJ knew mostly about various staves, but mostly he was only an expert in her own staff. The demon looked over at Gine, “You don’t run out of ki blasts I imagine. Well when I heard this mission I honestly thought the soldiers should have taken care of it or something. I always felt Yaid was more for military operations.” GJ looked over the way Gine had begun to lead, “This way huh?” GJ with military precision approached the steps before her.

He aimed his staff up the steps and cautiously began to walk upwards. Listening to the words of the angel coming from behind him. “I’ve come so far I’ve become a warrior, but I’ve never really decided where my heart is have I? I’m between duty and honor they rule my life, and I’ve never been free I also wonder though who would I be if I didn’t have those two things? Would I be just another thug? I don’t know who I would be without purpose. Definitely not the Garlic Jr I am today.”

GJ sighed, “I thought that you said that if Yaid wanted you bad enough.” The dots seemed to connect for GJ. “My duty to Yaid. my Honor for god’s sake. Abandoning either means I’d be losing a part of myself.” “You must know that would be a hard decision for me, I also wouldn’t accept someone else going after you.” GJ pulled up his shirt enough to show her the scar across his chest. “What can I do? They gave me a transplant.” GJ let his robe fall back down. “I’ve never been one for power. I’m not interested in power or fame. I.I don’t know what I want.” GJ answered to Gine.

“I know that ultimately, this decision is going to destroy me.” GJ reached the top of the steps. His heart felt heavy. That’s how it had to be for GJ. every time something like this happened he just hardened his heart. “Its going to break someday. I imagine Gine must doubt me. If Yaid told me to go after her does she think I would? I would kill my own mentor if they told me to. That is reason enough isn’t it?” GJ looked at the ground. ’Who’s side am I really on?” He questioned himself. “Besides. I bet I’d be more useful on the inside.” GJ tried to smile and give a wink to Gine.

“Guys,” said Gine leaning to the side slightly, “I hate winter, I hate ice, I hate snow, I hate the cold, I basically hate this part of the Planet. The only reason I’m here is.,” Gine paused and sighed, “I tried to kill one of Yaid’s higher ups,” Gine left out the details, letting the others think what she wanted about their fight, “I lost that fight by a large margin, but I realized making a direct assault against Yaid may have put the headstone on my own grave. If they wanted me badly enough the would find me yes,” Gine paused and took a step back down the stairs, “but I had lied, I disabled the tracking device in my helmet.”

She shifted uneasily, “I somewhat trust you guys, but we are on opposite sides in the beginning of a war. One day we will face each other on opposite sides of the battlefield,” Gine switched her step and took a step back up the stairs, “when that day comes we’ll decide if we’re going to kill each other or not, for now let’s finish your mission and get Yaid their scientist back.” Gine smiled at Beerus and GJ, regretting even bringing up the subject, “there will be two men guarding the door at the end of this staircase. The room beyond that door is where Erik is with the scientist.”

Gine was a little distraught from giving out so much personal information. It was times like these that she thought she cared a little too much about humans. Sometimes she would just snap. Hell, just the other day she had murdered a few people for no reason other than that they were trying to intimidate her. She really needed to get off of this planet or at least go to a mental health professional. Or something like that.

"A lot of people kill Yaid employees." Beerus simply replied to Gine. “Even if you attacked one of our employer’s men, you are still one of my allies?' Beerus sighed and looked to the ground. "I think I've already made my decision though." The hybrid pulled out a tacky cell phone and hit the quick dial. "Cisco? Where are you?" The voice on the other side told her, "First floor still, where are you?" Beerus shook her head, "Third Floor now. We're about where the scientist is I think so you should get up here and give us some back up." He heard Cisco swing his sword through the other side of the phone. "Roger that, I'll be there in five." He hung up and slipped the phone away.

The hybrid checked his knuckles once more to make sure that there was very little damage. He didn’t want to break a bone. After he was satisfied he headed up this staircase as well. He was a god for Christ sake. Trained to kill planets at a time. The Perfect hybrid, the one called Beerus, he would not betray his employer. All of the First class Yaid members eventually betrayed Yaid that he knew of. Every First class Yaid he had ever heard of had betrayed Yaid in some way. Is there a reason? Is the top really that bad? There must have been a reason why all of the other Yaid did what they had done.

Beerus reached the top of the stair case and punched two people. He took a deep breath and said to Gine, "I think I'm sad." The truth of the matter was that Beerus didn't remember how she got sad, and this is what truly scared her. "I'm scared for this child." He told Gine. "If I do give up. I think it will be the first time a Yaid has forfeited." Beerus recalled all of the file reports about the dastardly experiments that Yaid had performed in the past. "I think I'll quit Yaid and just go back to the next dimension. I could go into hiding with you, but unlike you I'm limited to the ground, I don't have a abilities or a vehicle, and it'll get harder and harder to move around the farther I go into this sadness.

I think maybe I'll leave Yaid after I tell the man I think is the mentor." Beerus wasn't sure how he knew, but he did have this feeling that told him that a certain Yaid was the mentor of this child. Was it Roshi or Kami who trained Gine? Or did she came from some strange past? “Why is a portion of my memories blank?” Beerus walked towards the door that Gine had mentioned, he kicked one of the bodies out of the way. “I have always had no choice but to be strong.' He thought to herself as he waited for the others.

"Well. I haven't been sure, but my monthly report was supposed to be yesterday so there can't be any denying I’m going to be in trouble?" Beerus pressed his lips together and looked down at the floor. "The future." Beerus listened to the sounds of the floor creaking before he lifted his head and looking into her eyes. "What am I supposed to do Gine? What should I do? I've never had a challenge this hard before, and I'm a god. I'm just. Its just so confusing." He told Gine. The Yaid got a grip on himself and wrapped his fingers around into a fist.

GJ was fully prepared to bust in with Gine, but within a split second the other demon had proved why he had been a member of the soldiers. GJ had been prepared to go in blazing if he had needed to, but seeing as how Gine had the situation covered, he decided to keep an eye on the hallway instead until Gine called him in. "Right." GJ responded to her. The demon moved in quickly and whipped out his staff. He ran it down the back of the chair, slicing the scientist's bonds. Following this, the demon lifted the woman onto her feet and began to lead her out into the hallway.

GJ pulled the gag out of the woman's mouth and finished by slicing the rope covering her hands as well. "YAID?" The woman coughed. GJ nodded simply and nodded her head towards the staircase. Cisco climbed up the stairs, GJ made a little sign for him to turn around. "Right." He responded to GJ. GJ looked backwards to see if she could still see Gine in the room. "What’s the fastest way out of here do you think Cisco?" The man shrugged, "I'd suggest my way, but I don't know if anybody would really like that."

The scientist looked back and forth between the strange assortment of races. "What's his way?" She questioned. Cisco smiled and lifted his gigantic blade from his back and smiled to her as he let it extend fully. "THIS!" He yelled smashing the blade through the floor. "First floor anyone?" GJ nodded to Cisco and grabbed the Scientist and hopped down to the first floor. "We left our packs near the entrance, so we'll have something warm for you to wear. Yaid is scheduled to meet us via helicopter once this storm settles down." GJ led the woman quickly out the front doors, noting that Cisco had in fact done a wonderful job of well taking care of the guards like he had said he was going to.

GJ looked down at the gear on the ground and helped the scientist get ready to head out into the ki. "Cisco. you go on ahead." He told the man. "Why? Whats wrong?" GJ gave him a look, "I need to speak to Beerus and Gine, I'll catch up in a little bit."

Gine saw GJ enter and take care of freeing the scientist from her bonds. She saw all this through her peripheral vision, as she kept her main focus on the man in front of her. She didn’t move from the spot, allowing the two Yaids to take the scientist and disappear with an excited yell and the sound of crashing. The silence that followed after soon became deathly. Gine’ sharp eyes watched a bead of sweat roll down from Erik’s brow. She wondered if Beerus was still outside the room being as sad as a grump.

However, he kept a smile on his lips. To the untrained eye it would appear as a confident smile, to Gine it appeared nervous. Erik reclined slightly, putting his arm over the back of the couch and he opened his mouth to say something but Gine then pulled the haft. She didn’t hesitate afterwards and dropped his weapon in his lap as blood poured from the chunk of head that was now missing and she casually walked out of the room.

She walked until she came to the hole that had been made presumably by Cisco and stepped to it and dropped down it with her ands still in her pockets as easily as riding an elevator. One of the green artifact in the handle of her power pole began to glow and she sent a ball of ki from her hand up the hole to catch the ceiling on fire as she casually began making her way towards the entrance. There she found GJ without Cisco or the scientist and she stopped and looked at GJ. Waiting for whatever it was the demon had to say. But it was Beerus that did the talking.

"Guys I." Beerus realized that even though he wanted to ask the woman for her help and question her about what he should do, he couldn't. "I." Beerus sighed, "Nevermind. Just be safe I suppose." He told the other woman before turning to follow after Cisco. “This is a really difficult choice for me to make. I don't know what I should do. Should I really leave Yaid? I know I told her that I was going to run away but its not that easy for someone like me. Especially not since I'm going to be carrying a burden.” Beerus pressed his lips together before pulling out a hood from his pocket and covering his ears. Not that he needed it to stay warm. He would then start pressing into the storm. "I hope I see you again soon Gine and Garlic." 'And hopefully not as enemies.' Beerus added mentally. “Though, even if we do end up as enemies, I don't think I would ever fight you.”

Even if the woman began to speak, Beerus would leave. The others would have no choice but to watch him go. He was employed by Yaid after all, there really wasn’t much they could do to stop him without some dire consequences. So the others would watch him fade into the ceaseless blizzard and eventually vanish from sight. As she felt heat on her back signifying that the fire Gine had started had begun to spread he blinked her cold eyes and turned with Cisco to head towards Dawn.

With little effort she shut the doors to the entrance, just as some frantic humans had come to escape. With a simple gravity attack the doors were forever shut and the screaming of the humans could be clearly heard. He turned her back on them and also began walking into the storm even further. Once he could no long see the two others he lifted into the air and took off above the storm. He was tired of the cold and wet condition of the town she was going back to the Next Dimension for a while. He figured things with Yaid had cooled off enough in the time he was gone.

Training had been out for a few hours and that made Gine more thankful than a black guy dating a white girl. There were three choices to make: go home and do some chores, go to the Yaid base and end up doing another stupid-ass mission, or just wander around the really city and try to find something to do. Doing house work was for women. Oh wait, she was one, that's why she was scrubbing dishes. Well, she was tired of it. Second, Gine wasn't in the mood to do some weird-ass mission again. So wandering around it was.

As long as Gine has lived in this damned place, she never noticed any of the major wars that she had supposedly happened on a day to day basis. She had never really cared, but it seemed like there was more news on these fuckers each passing day. She passed a newspaper stand, seeing the headline was about Yaid or some shit, but the other featured story was of a ninety year old woman having sex for the first time before she had passed away. Man, she must have paid off that fucker with her inheritance money or some shit.

More time had passed, nothing of importance happened or else Gine would have made a note of it. She sighed as she had to retie her shoelaces and sneezed into a really tissue, but no one really gives a shit about small details. Something finally did catch Gine's attention: two homeless guys fighting over a piece of zeni. "Now this is really sad when this is all there is to do in Dawn." Gine would normally fight both of them and pull down their pants and humiliate them or something, but she didn’t want to make this a mature scene. Gine's opening acts are always weak in a two-person thread, so hopefully someone can pull through and be of some help and add something to this.

Beerus had made it to Dawn again, this time though, not for a mission. A newspaper from above the plate had fluttered down to the slums and was picked up by the god. Apparently the front was moving away from Dawn and it was going to be sunny for a while. Beerus decided it would be a good day to reminisce about his time slaying dragons and breaking into military bases which seemed so far away from him now although it had only been a few days. The first thing that had happened when he got above the ground was he had been blinded by the light. He had stumbled as if she had hit a brick wall and had to lean against a wall in order to let his eyes adjust without falling over.

A headache had surfaced from the sudden impact of the bright light, and he settled for putting the hood of his jacket up. With his eyes shaded she was able to continue to walk around the streets, his hands in her pockets his shoes brushing slightly against the ground, and a hip new shirt. Beerus as having the time of his life out in the sun, and Beerus was glad that someone was enjoying themselves.

His short road of reminiscing ended with the sound of two people fighting. he stopped and looked over at two homeless people at each other’s throats with a single zeni between them. Beerus walked briskly towards them and grabbed the back of both of their coats, and with a little effort separated the two of them. They were covered in dirt and blood from their fight and were breathing heavily, “cut it out you two,” he said in a low voice and the two men glanced at his but continued to glare at each other. Beerus floated down and picked up the zeni piece and gnawed on it slightly as if it were a cookie. The two homeless men stared in horror and began to protest by turning to face Beerus but a quick glare to them both made them freeze. he let them go and reached into his pocket, taking out ten zeni. he gave five to one and five to the other.

“There, now stop fighting.”

The homeless men looked at the zeni then at each other and one made to attack the other but he stopped him, kicked him in the shin and turned him around, “you go this way,” he said, pushing him forward, “and you go that way,” he turned to look at the other man pointing in the opposite direction that he had pushed the one. Reluctantly they began to move, not daring to attack each other while Beerus was between them. Eventually he was able to shove his hand into his pockets and take out a cigarette and a lighter, flicking it open and lighting up the end. he looked up through the smoke that he exhaled and saw what appeared to be a young girl. He had really taken a liking to smoking these earth cigarettes. he wasn’t sure that anyone on any other planet he’d been to did something so strange as to ruin one’s lungs with smoke.

Beerus flicked the lighter closed and put it in his pocket, looking at the young girl with intrigue as he lifted the cigarette from his lips and exhaled a smoke ring before closing his mouth and giving a short acknowledgment of her existence by lifting two fingers in a sort of wave.

The only entertainment of the day was ruined by this bitch. What the fuck else was there to do around here besides watching the hobos fighting amongst themselves? There was no way in hell Gine would spend anymore time than she had to cleaning. She did enough of that as is, and all she wanted was some mindless entertainment. It's not as if someone purposely placed a single zeni there for them to fight over. They both happened to find it at the same time. "Thank you, dude," said Gine as she was looking at Beerus.

She didn't wish to say anymore, but God damn. She almost had it played out perfectly, but she forgot to let them finish. "This is some free UFC I can't afford to pay fifty bucks to watch a couple of fights," said Gine. Gine was trying to stay calm. She had been on edge ever since the last mission. She was acting more sassy than she had in a long time. Another enemy was not needed. She didn't wish to fight or else she would have beaten up both hobos if she was that bored. "Now you seem pretty confident about yourself. Not Kanye confident where you'd masturbate to yourself, but still pretty confident. Since YOU ruined my fun for the moment, we need to settle this."

To settle this. that was a problem. Gine didn't want to fight. She had enough of that lately. She noticed that Beerus was smoking a cigarette. Something so little to the plot at the beginning was the idea that sparked what Gine wanted to do. She figured Beerus's lungs had to be weak, so something that involved work had to be done. Gine was banking that this guy had the endurance of a fat kid. She hadn’t even seen him really do anything in the last mission. A fat kid would keep going if you bribed him with a really Twinkie dangling in front of his fat face, but Beerus seemed like a normal smoker. Nothing probably enticed him like another cigarette.

"But yeah, I challenge you. I'll only divulge the first part for now. Go and round up as many hobos as you can. They can be from any part of the city you wish." Gine really had no plan. She just figured that making Beerus run around town finding some hobos would be enough punishment for the time being. "Return here by nightfall," said Gine as she turned around, heading to the southern part of the shitty area they were in.

Beerus looked at the girl as she began complaining about Beerus separating the homeless people. Beerus watched her mouth move with a blank expression as he inhaled on the cigarette lightly, slowly, so that only a slightly flavor of tobacco ran across her tongue. When the girl gave her an order Beerus smirked and pinched the cigarette between two knuckles and removed it from his mouth, exhaling a cloud of smoke before flicking the ash from the stick and said, “no.”

Beerus inhaled on the stick again before exhaling a smoke ring into the air, “I’m not going to do something meaningless for your entertainment. If you’re bored and you want to see two people fighting pointlessly, go to the Festivals or a fight club. But this,” Beerus waved his hand between the two of them, leaving a thin wisp of smoke from her cigarette, “what you’re thinking is going to happen, is not happening.”

Beerus was certainly acting much cooler than he had before. His insecurity about the assignment had passed and now he was in his element, being as badass as possible. Heput the cigarette back in her mouth and inhaled looking the girl up and down. She seemed a lot prettier when she wasn’t covered in blood, “you want to see two people fight, go pick a fight with someone, that’s the easiest way to not be bored any longer,” and with that Beerus shoved his hands into his pockets and walked away from the girl. Today was not a mission, it was simply a stroll in the sun, and Beerus quickly forgot about the girl as she wandered around the streets.

As he wandered around the ash on his cigarette began to lengthen, until Beerus finally stopped and spit the stick out onto the ground, crushing it under his boot. He looked up and her bright eyes caught on a plain white house. He stopped momentarily and looked at it for a long while. There was a family playing in what could be called the front yard. A mentor, a mentor, and a little girl. Beerus blinked and watched them laughing together for a moment before a memory flashed behind her eyes of Gine plunging a power pole down the man’s throat from the other day came to mind.

She turned away from the happy family and turned away from the old house. He had half a mind to tell the people that a murder roamed the streets but decided against it. It would be wrong of her to ruin their happiness. Beerus squeaked and swung on the strand of dust that was covering his shoe and was thoroughly enjoying himself, though Beerus could feel he had a slight concern for her as he was beginning to regret coming into the open where he was just another ugly alien. He sighed and brushed a finger against his forehead before turning down a street and stopping as the tower of Yaid came into view. In the bright sun the tower appeared pristine and made of ivory. She looked at the top floor where the President resided.

She glowered at the building as she reached behind her and touched the brass knuckles hidden behind her coat, brushing the tip of one finger against the pieces set in them. He then began walking briskly towards the building before stopping suddenly when he heard a scream. He began running towards the sound and found three guys crowding in an alleyway. There was a woman that Beerus could not see muttering frantically and crying.

Beerus caught a glimpse of a man on the ground unconscious or dead and the three men were grabbing at the woman. Beerus didn’t hesitate and drew his knuckle, plunging it into the neck of the first man, slipping easily between the atlas and axis vertebrae and severing the spinal cord. The man dropped like a rock and the other two looked at her in time for one of them to be hit with a fire spell. As he ran out of the alleyway screaming and trying to rip his clothes off his comrade lifted a gun.

Beerus quickly ducked under the weapon shot and somersaulted forward flipping his knuckle and neatly slicing into his inner thigh. The woman was suddenly stuck on the top of her head, sending her sideways against the wall. She slid down as her vision blured and she looked up as the barrel of the weapon was pointed at her. She blinked once and her vision began to return to see the man looking down in horror at the rapidly growing pool of blood. Then in an instant, he fell to the ground and died from Beerus’ attack.

Beerus shook her head and Beerus squeaked in concern as he went over to the man. She check for a pulse and sighed in relief when she felt one. The woman, whose top was torn to shreds, scrambled over and lifted the man’s head into her lap. “He’s alive,” Beerus said and the woman looked up at her as she stood and sheathed her knuckle, “you’ll be okay.” Beerus then turned and exited the alleyway watching as the man that was on fire was still trying to put himself out. She walked over to him and kicked him so that he fell to his knees then did a round house kick to his head, spinning it completely around and then kicked his back so that the body lay on its stomach on the ground, the head staring up at the sky with a look of sheer terror.

Beerus groaned in annoyance and rubbed his head slightly before turning to look at the Yaid tower. He decided then that today would be a mission after all, he would just wait until night. He bent down and searched the body, taking the zeni from his wallet and tossing the folded leather at the corpse’s face before pocketing the money and walking towards Yaid to wait until nightfall. “Too bad,” she said to himself, “that girl probably would have enjoyed watching me kill those men.”
