Combat Rune // champ 1 The Crimson typhoons crystal clear blue pupils never left their target, the legendary God of destruction, Beerus, as he continued to raise his power level in anticipation of testing his might against the deity. Vash had never met an actual God before, and the sudden arrival of this one was curious in of itself, but all Vash was concerned with at this point was how he measured up. For some reason, he was unable to sense Lord Beerus' strength, even as the cat like creature stood pat, awaiting the demons first move. Vash couldn't tell if Beerus respected him for his accolades and achievements or not, but, the way that he talked seemed to indicate as much. Only time would really tell. For a second, as Vash had reached his own physical plateau, he had considered using one of his transformations, but, being unable to judge where he stacked up against Lord Beerus, he decided he would give his base form a try. Whether that was a smart decision or not remained to be seen. The ground under his feet continued to rumble, and off in the distance a volcano had erupted, sending a giant plume of ash and smoke into the sky in the background. When the next earthquake began, Vash burst into motion, closing the gap between himself and Beerus in nearly the blink of an eye. The Crimson typhoon was a blur of speed and power, throwing three quick jabs at Beerus' stomach, just before pulling a leg back and trying to smash the God of Destruction smack dab in the middle of his abdomen. It was time to see what all the fuss was about. 279 |

It was almost too easy. As the Right hand of the ruler of Hell charged at the God of Destruction, Beerus could immediately tell that the warrior had true potential. He knew a great deal about even greater powers that demons could summon up and for this one to be able to display such power without them was actually impressive. Still Lord Beerus was confident as he seemed to see the attacks of the demon coming before they were even launched at him. Shifting his body side to side he backed up only a little to avoid the original quick attack combination, but when Vash came at him with a more powerful and direct blow he knew it was time to counter. His arm moved quickly as he brought it down and caught the attempted smash from the demons leg just before it connected with his abdomen. It was clear that the God of Destruction could have struck back in a very painful way, but for some reason he didn’t simply holding the leg for a few moments before calmly letting go and allowing it to fall harmlessly back beneath the demon. He seemed almost arrogant as he stood still just waiting for Vash to continue his onslaught without even responding on his own, but he did speak, ”Impressive start, but I feel you can do more than that, much more than that. If you wanted to test your powers against me I would suggest testing them at their fullest or else this really won’t be much of a real test for you. Vash I am correct to assume that you are holding back right?” He waited to see what the demon would do now that he had been called out and expected that Vash would be more than willing to simply unload what he could at the destroyer god. Still, Lord Beerus was interested. A demon with this kind of power if he could transform wouldn’t be one that he assumed Lucifer would want to let far off the leash. He was too risky and could have possibly taken the throne with enough time. WC: 355 Beerus has Combat Rune and Champion II |

Beerus was calm and collected as Vash had burst forward, unleashing a flurry of punches towards the God of Destructions midsection. With relative ease and exerting almost no effort, the purple cat like being was able to move himself out of the way of each of Vashs jabs. And then, when Vash had tried to send a message with a strong kick to drive his leg into Beerus' abdomen, Vash was caught off guard by what had happened. Beerus was able to simply grab a hold of Vashs kick. Any normal warrior would have been smashed like a car accident trying to block the amount of force Vash had put into his attack, but Beerus caught it like he was catching a pillow being tossed at him. Vashs eyes grew wide with fear, anticipating the counter strike that most likely would have sent him flying backwards, but, the surprises kept coming in bunches. Beerus simply released Vashs leg, and locked eyes with the Crimson Typhoon. Who the hell is this guy... Vash couldn't help but think. What have I gotten myself into..: Beerus broke the silence, commenting that although he was impressed, he could tell that Vash was holding back. And he was right. Vash had chosen not to use his absolute full strength. And evidently that turned out to be a poor decision on his part. Vash had been called out, and his options were simple. He could either transform and go balls to the wall in hopes of bridging the gap in power levels between himself and Beerus, something that was still indeterminable since Vash still could not sense just how strong the God of destruction really was, or sit pat and most likely become overwhelmed and lose this spar in a matter of seconds. That was not a very difficult choice at all. Vash leapt backwards to create some space between himself and Beerus. As his feet planted firmly in the ground, spread shoulder length a part, the planet shook violently once again. Lightning arced through the sky as the clouds darkened about both of their heads. Vashs figure once again became engulfed in aura, this time larger and burning more actively around him. He growled as his power level began to sky rocket. Rocks and other chunks of loose ground started to levitate around him as the pupils in his eyes faded into the whites, and then turned a dark obsidian hue. Vashs muscle mass pumped like a heart beat and nearly doubled in size. The veins that ran through his body like a roadmap expanded, almost popping out of his restrictive skin. The demons growl turned into an all out howl as the lower half of his face stretched forward, taking on the resemblance of a wolf's mandible. Vashs chest rose and fell with great weight. It had been quite some time since he had used his full transformation, and he had forgot how much of a toll it took on his body. Fully transformed and ready to try this again, Vash stared Beerus down menacingly. "Alright, Beerus," he bellowed in a much deeper tone of voice. "You wanted to see me at my best, well, you've got it." Without so much as another syllable of a warning, Vash had seemingly disappeared and then reappeared right behind the God of destruction with his massive elbow swinging like a club for the back of the gods neck. Vash continued to spin with his momentum, and brought his left leg around, aimed for Beerus' lower back. He needed to capitalize before Beerus got warmed up, and, Vash flew straight up in the air, charging energy into the palms of his hands and leaving a trail of ki behind in his wake. Vash looked down on his target below, and unleashed a volley of energy blasts, each the size of a small car down towards Beerus. Vash wanted a good measure of how he compared to Beerus' strength. In one way or another, he was convinced that he was going to get it. 734//1000+ |

Fear, he knew it well. Beerus the Destroyer was used to seeing fear come over his opponents. It was something that he truthfully enjoyed seeing because it was a silent acknowledgement of his greatness. Yes the God of Destruction liked to be told of his greatness verbally, but that look in a helpless enemy’s eyes when they realized exactly what they were dealing with was priceless to him. Vash was an extremely powerful demon and yet when Beerus caught his foot he saw that look, even if it was only for a moment. The doubt had started to creep into the demon. The interesting thing though was that in this place it didn’t matter to Beerus. The astral world around them looked to be falling apart already and even if it wasn’t in this mental world it didn’t matter anyways. It was possible that even the look he had seen in the demons eyes wasn’t as much of fear as it was self-doubt or pure amazement at the ability that the destroyer god had already shown in just a short instant. His request was satisfied after he let go of the food and the demon’s power suddenly began to surge as his body transformed. It was clear that the demon had a novice level of experience controlling his power in this form, but it was a vast improvement in his power. It would make things at least a little more interesting even if Beerus didn’t have much desire to expand this encounter much longer. He had felt like even this mentally created world didn’t have much longer to survive. It was going to blow at any moment and he wanted to be the one responsible for it even if it was just an imaginary world. He was the God of Destruction, it just wouldn’t have been right for him to let it blow on its own. As Vash finished his transformation it didn’t take long for him to lash out into the assault as he went to try to prove his might to the god he was facing. The demon vanished from sight as he tried to flank the powerful destroyer, but Beerus adjusted ever so slightly raising his arm above his head and then catching the powerful elbow smash with his hand. The power of the blow connecting with the hand of Beerus sent out a shockwave that erupted around the planet. As the transformed demon tried a kick Beerus flew into the air going right over the kick before landing back on the crackling planet. He looked up as Vash has taken flight and looked to rain down holy hell upon the demon to finally prove his abilities to the god. Beerus looked up and smiled as attacks rushed down towards him, but naturally a barrier of energy formed around him absorbing the blows completely and leaving the destroyer still unharmed. The smoke that filled the area from the explosion was enough of cover for him to prepare to end this once and for all. When the smoke settled Beerus was nowhere to be seen as he vanished appeared a few moments later right next to Vash. An eerie purple field of energy was flowing around the God of Destruction as he extended his arm towards the planet. ”Your power is significant. I am impressed. You might even have the power in you to unseat the one you are currently following. I doubt Lucifer goes through his days without at least the idea of your power overcoming his own someday. He would be a fool to not, but you would be a fool to not know this. Trust whom you want, but be ready at all times. You never know.” It was almost as if Beerus was trying to recruit Vash away from Lucifer or maybe he just didn’t like the prince of hell that much. Either way as the power continued to flow around him he looked down at the planet his words more of a warning to Vash than anything else, ”I am going to destroy this world no. Maybe we can meet in the real world someday.” As he finished talking the beam of energy fired forth from his hand striking the planet and instantly blowing it up severing the connection they both had to the astral realm.
