It had been a weird couple of weeks to say at least; the accident at Satan City Enterprise, followed by the visions (or dreams) about her mother and brother. Pan showing up on Earth and then vanishing again. Apio and Rubic coming to Earth at the same time, though not together. West city being under attack once more by some criminal organization who were actually after Apio’s human (girl)friend.

And as everything continued there only seemed rise more and more questions instead of getting answers. Was her brother Logan really still alive and somewhere out there? What was going on with Rubic and the other RBC units? Was it just a matter of time before the Steel legion would fight back again?

She was happy to have met her old friends again, but the timing could have been better. With all the mess going on, her plans to leave Earth and fly to Vegeta were postponed… once again.

“I need a break” she said out load. Or actually more like a nice distraction; a good old fight. Because really, how many times can you go through the same training simulator in the graviton before you know them by heart and it get boring as hell?

The feline girl sat down on the floor with her legs crossed and her eyes closed. With a deep breath her mind slowly floated away and connected to with the astral realm.

Even before she had opened her eyes again she could feel the ice cold wind rustling through her long with hair and a smile curled on her lips. A beautiful frozen landscape unfolded before her with snow covering the ground and the trees as far as the eye could see. She was home again.

Few seconds later she detected another presence and she turned around to located her maybe-opponent; it was a demon she met once before in the realm, months ago. What was his name again?

“Vash, right?” she asked when she spotted the blond warrior. Now this could be interesting.

Vash stood perched atop a gargoyle, one of several decorating a very old and very tall building in the heart of North City. The breeze from the altitude tossed his golden strands of hair too and fro, and caused his vermillion hued leather duster to whip in the wind. He really loved his signature article of clothing. Dusters were wicked cool.

His eyes looked down, surveying all of the sights and sounds the bustling metropolis had to offer. It has been quite some time since he had last visited the tiny blue planet, the pull of Entai, the legendary demon horse had called him here. "Fucking humans..." He muttered under his breath, barely audible with the winds howling all around him. "When will they ever learn..."

Suddenly, he could feel another presence calling out to him. It wasn't Entai, it was something else, a presence he had felt before, although it had been quite some time. He barely recognized it. Vash reached inside of his coat and produced the shard of the telepathic gem that he kept attached to a necklace, closed his eyes, and "answered the call."

Goosebumps instantly covered his skin as he materialized in a world filled with snow and ice. Vash let out a sigh, a cloud of vapor slowly plumed from his mouth. "More fucking snow..." He complained to himself. Vash had just left Pefu only a day or two prior, and snow was the last thing he wanted to see after his month long stay there.

There, before him, stood a woman, long locks of hair blowing in the chilled air. A set of furry cat like ears poked out of the top of her head. "Levana..." He nodded as he answered her back when she called out his name. "Long time no see," he feigned a smile as he tried to recollect their precious encounter. As he recalled, she was particularly skilled in telepathic powers, he would have to keep that in mind this time around.

"I think it's safe to assume you want to test your skills again," he said with a smile. "Let's not waste any time then." As soon as he finished his sentence, he kicked a wave of snow up at her, mostly to try to confuse and distract her as he unleashed a barrage of small ki blasts in her direction.

Levana couldn’t help but to grin slightly when her excellent feline hearing caught the demons muttering about the snow. But to her not unpleasant surprise he remembered her name as well and she briefly offered him a real smile.

She had to keep in mind that he was a demon and that she should be careful, but for some reason he just didn’t seem that evil as she had always imagined demons would be.

The little chitchat was quickly over though as he assumed correctly that she was in for a fight. And without wasting any more time he immediately started off with the first attack.

Kicking up snow to try to deceive her was an old, lame trick. They did that as a child. As soon as white flakes whirled around to block her view, she extended her sense and even without seeing them, she detected the little ki orbs that formed in his hand and were shot in her direction.

Swift like a cat, she flicked to the side and graciously landed back on her feet, about two meters away from where she had been standing before.

“Did you seriously think that was gonna work?” she asked slightly sarcastic, “but okay, if you want to play, I can play,” she added more amused.

She decided to literally start off with the same technique en kicked up some snow in his direction, even if it was only to annoy him a bit. At the same time she stretched out her arms and with little movement of her fingers a snowball started to form on each side of the demon. In one quick gesture, the hybrid warrior then brought her arms together in front of her body and together with that the two watermelon-sized balls of snow were directed to the middle to hit her opponent from both sides.

"Did you seriously think that was gonna work?" Levana had chimed after defending his initial attack rather easily. Vash couldn't help himself but smile. It has become clear that Levana was more at home here in the snow than he was, and that gave her a certain advantage. "But okay, if you want to play, I can play," she said as she leapt into motion.

The same trick he had tried to pull on her, she mirrored back to him. A wall of snow kicked up, inhibiting his view from getting a good look at what was really going on. Of course, Vash knew this ploy, and was trying not to fall for it. He leapt backwards a couple of dozen feet though the air, his boots sunk into the soft powdery snow when he landed, trying to create some space between himself and Levana and at the same time give him some room to actually try to see what she was really up to.

Out through the center of the veil of snow, came two white orbs rocketing right at him. His leaping backwards had backfired and left him wide open with no time to react. He could only brace for the inevitable impact...

Poof, poof! "What the hell..." He muttered with a scrunched up face of confusion. Two snowballs had collided with his chest, exploding on impact. His eyes quickly moved back to the cat eared woman. "I know you said you could play, but... I didn't think you meant... Literally..."

This Levana certainly was a curious individual. If she wanted to play in the snow, though, he would be happy to oblige her. The winds began to pick up around them rather quickly, and storm clouds moved in over head. Faster and faster the wind blew, until chunks of snow and ice began to get sucked up into a vortex which began to chase after Levana, hoping to trap her in a snowy tornado prison

The snowballs didn’t do any damage at all to the demon, but that was never really her intention anyway. The funny look on his face and the confused tone in his voice, on the other hand, were priceless.

She was still laughing amused, when the blond haired warrior send a new gust of wind and snow her way.

“Seriously, is that all… Oh, shit!” she had realized to late that this wasn’t just some snow he had kicked up like before, but an actual tornado.

The feline girl swiftly moved around to avoid the attack, but the bloody thing seemed to chase her around. The whirling wind gained more and more speed and power. And before she could think of a plan the storm swallowed her and started to spin her around just as if she was nothing more then one of the snowflakes.

Hanging upside down and twirling around like that wasn’t exactly an ideal situation to keep your thoughts together, but what other choice did she have. She might be able to fly out of that awful tornado at full speed, but actually she had absolutely no clue off what up or down was. And she didn’t really feel like crashing herself into the ground if she would choose the wrong direction.

“DAMN IT,” she muttered out load, though her words were lost in the storm, “come on, think, think, a tornado is warm air inside and cold air whirling on the outside… what if…”

While still flying around like a rage doll, the Saiyan hybrid started to expand her blue aura around her body and put as much energy in it as possible until it even extended around the snow storm.

“Agghggh,” with a load almost beastlike roar and an extra pulse of energy she then let the aura ignite into a bright blue inferno. The heat of the flames caused a rapid change in temperature around her and the storm vanished quickly.

Levana tumbled down a couple of meters and landed in the soft snow, still disorientated from being tossed around she fell on her hands and knees instead of nicely landing on her feet again like before.

“Good one, I definitely underestimated that,” she smiled, but when she looked up at her opponent she saw three demons instead of just one. Nothing had changed in his ki signature though; so she was convinced that this was also still a side effect from the tornado. Brief seconds later the triple image collided back together into one and the world finally stopped spinning.

Time for her to get back into action. She got up again and floated a few feet up in the air and she started to fire off a dozen small blue ki orbs. While they would come down on the demon like a the bullets of a machinegun, she aimed a bigger blast at a snowed hill top about fifty meters behind the demonic warrior. With some luck the impact would cause a nice avalanche.

Vash laughed as Levana was forced to deal with the ice tornado he had managed to conjure up. The hyper tornado attack was one of his favorites, and also one of the reasons why he was able to earn the moniker of 'The Crimson Typhoon.' As winds had died down and Levana had dropped to her knees, visibly disoriented, Vash rubbed at the bottom of his chin, inspecting her up and down. She was a curious individual indeed.

Suddenly, Levana took to the air, rising and levitating a few feet off of the ground, her long hair flowing in the gentle, chilled breeze. Vash could feel the power flowing through her, right before an array of energy blasts were shot in his direction. Acting quickly, a lavender hued shield of ki expanded around Vash, absorbing Levana's attack. The way the small ki orbs pounded against his energy shield looked like rain drops falling into a small pond.

While he was preoccupied with her frontal attack, Levana had other plans, apparently. Vash could feel the ground beneath his feet begin to rumble. What the hell is going on... He wondered to himself. Levana's eyes weren't focused on him. They were looking over him, at something behind him in the distance. It was almost like he was moving in slow motion as he slowly turned his head around to get a look at what she was looking at.

Vashs eyes widened with surprise, and fear. A massive wall of snow was racing down the mountain range behind him. She had caused an avalanche! It was moving too quickly, he didn't even have time to cuss her out for doing such a reckless act. The wall of ice and snow washed over Vash, and poof! Sent him out of the astral realm and back to reality, where he was still sitting atop the gargoyle. He smiled to himself, knowing that he couldn't wait to get back at her next time they were to meet.
