The Avatar of War
|
Jax Food, food, food. That's all that the Avatar of War could think about. It had been awhile since his last meal and he was starving, even though it had only been a few hours since he last ate. As quickly as his legs could take him, the pink-haired warrior rushed to the closest restruant he could find. Thankfully, it didn't take him long. He managed to find a place. "GREAT!" he exclaimed and rushed towards it at full speed, busting through the door. He was about to open his mouth, telling the waiter to bring him something until he noticed something. Walid couldn't stop himself and was slding across the room. He then waved his arms frantically, thinking that would help but sadly it didn't. After sliding for a good bit, he finally came to a crashing halt. His body crashed right into a waiter who was carrying someone's meal. Almost instantly the man lost his balance and with it, the dish was airborne. "M... My bad," the Zaunite mumbled, trying to apologize and then heard something slamming onto someone's table. yarru the mwuhuha CLATTER BANG. Yan blinked. He had been playing on his phone as was common for him to do when eating alone when the door had burst open. From there there were probably more sound effects that he couldn’t remember in the speediness of the whole affair but the last one was most important. “CLATTER BANG.” The food he’d ordered hit the table, the dishes and forks making most of the noise along with some squishing sounds. The table was just large enough that nothing fell into his lap, to which he was grateful but the waiter had hit the floor quite hard. They weren’t paid enough for that really. He lifted himself from the seat and shot a small look to the OTHER GINGER. “What the heck is the rush, kid?” he asked while helping the man up who fumbled his own apologies. It was hardly in his say to call the boy a kid considering he was measely 5’5 and looked like a well dressed middle schooler, but the air he let off was at least more composed than the stumbling speedster. “You can’t eat if you’ve knocked all the servers unconscious.” Jax The victim of Walid's foolishness stood from his seat and the warrior realized his blunder. He couldn't help but shake his head at himself, the young Zaunite was on a good behavior streak and then suddenly it was broken in a second. Quickly before he did anything else, Walid tried to help the waiter up so that he could apologize. Instead of actually doing so... he didn't realize how much strength he was using and accidently sent the man flying across the room, causing more food to fly around. "CRAP, I'M SORRY...," he said and then remembered he ruined someone's food, "I'm sorry I... here maybe I can help." Walid then grabbed the cloth that was on top of the table so that he could remove it. Somehow though, the white table cloth wrapped itself around the pink-haired warrior and he was trapped. Trying to free himself, the young Zaunite swung his arms rapidly, continuing to knock over stuff. Suddenly before he knew it, he reached the ginger's vicinity and accidentally swung towards him. The Avatar of War then wondered how he always messed up things. It was a past that he was ashamed of and hoped that one day, he would break away from the shackled memories. His freedom, however, wasn't going to be anytime soon. yarru the mwuhuha Holy fricken shit, this boy was a mess. The waiter went flying and Yan did nothing to stop him. He wasn’t that good of a guy. The kid further panicked and made the situation ten times worse. Wow. He came towards him and he already knew what this kid’s luck was going to offer him so his guard was up to block the crazed attack. WOW. He understood immediately why the waiter went flying. Still, this wasn’t a real battle where he was using coordinated speed. Yan just had to predict his next blunder. Doing so, he quickly grabbed Walid by the face and then lifted him up in the air away from him. He braced himself for the boy’s frantic motions to slam fists into his arms and made sure to keep a firm grasp. He wouldn’t let him break free and further kick him in the face. “Calm down,” he says, squeezing the boy’s cheeks painfully. “Or I will take drastic measures.” He stared the boy firmly in the eyes with a dark look that said he really didn’t want to know what drastic measures were. Then he grinned though, as if to say, he kind of wanted to show him. He was after all, a powerful and handsome fellow that was almost adorable in his recklessness. He could definitely show him a thing or two. Jax For some strange reason, the warrior felt something touching his face and panicked even more. Feeling something like that without actually seeing it made him think that it was a ghost. Before he had a chance to react towards it though, Walid noticed that he didn't feel anything underneath him and realized he was airborne. "WHAT IS GOING ON?!" he shouted and then grunted as he felt something powerful striking him. After that he felt yet another strike and that's when he finally calmed down more. Hearing the sound of someone declaring drastic measures excited the Avatar of War. He was always down for a good brawl and realized someone was fighting him. "Wait just a minute... I have an idea," the pink-haired warrior muttered and then blew a wave of fire to rid himself of his blanket madness. He was just about to look for the man who spoke to him until he smelled something burning. Walid turned around and saw that he managed to catch the table on fire. "OH COME ON, ALL I WANTED WAS SOME FOOD!" he yelled as the others started to run out of the building so that they wouldn't get caught up in the path of War. yarru the mwuhuha An idea? Oh jeez, he didn’t stop did he. He felt the boy’s cheeks heat up first, and it was not in embarrassment! “Damn it!” he let out and immediately threw him as hard as he could straight into the ceiling while ducking out of the way. A table still managed to catch on fire, along with a guy’s toupee. He freaked but Yan had to figure that was better than his real hair catching on fire. Well, maybe his real hair wouldn’t have been so flammable. He tossed it in the air with a cry. As the boy shouted the fire alarm suddenly set off creating a loud screeching noise to drown out the boy’s cries. Yan could read lips though and he was not amused. Well, to be honest, he was kind of amused. He bent his knees quickly and then shot himself forward to tackle the God of Blunders just as the sprinklers went off on the crying and fleeing guests. “What part of calm down did you miss dumb ass!?” he asks attempting to pin him but expecting another bout of violence, even accidental. “IF YOU WANT FOOD STOP MOVING ABOUT FOR TWO SECONDS.” Jax Just then, the pink-haired warrior was tackled and then pinned down. He felt the water dropping onto his face and was immediately annoyed by his situation. Being attacked was one thing, but being wet too? As much as he wanted the food that the stranger promised him, he decided that he was hungry for something else. He wanted a fight and what better scenery for it than to have fire burning in the background. "Food? No," he said, trying to roll over so that his attacker would be pinned down instead, "How's about a fight instead." He figured once they were done, they could get something to eat afterwards. Walid would even pay for everything since it was his fault anyways. yarru the mwuhuha The boy was stronger then him, and he flipped the situation easily. How long it would last though was really up to question. Yan half expected something to come falling on the boy’s head as soon as he tried to act cool. A fight? Well, the boy had managed easily to get on top of him but he had maneuvered himself so his arms were still free. The boy’s knee ended up between his legs a bit suggestively and Yan looked down thoughtfully. “You sure it’s a fight you’re looking for?” he asks in a flirtatious tone but before the boy could get embarrassed or even confirm, he shot his arm out to grab his head and immediately slammed their forehead together. He really had a habit of head butting people. And kissing people. Which is what he did next, pulling the boy’s head back down he pressed his lips firmly to his and then taking advantage of his likely shock tossed him off and toward the flames. Jax More words were said and quickly before the Avatar of War could react next, he felt Yan grabbing for his head. A loud thud sounded around the vacant building as their heads collided. What transpired next surprised the Zaunite... he was felt the stranger's lips pressed against his. W...What just happened... Instead of getting the chance to question the man's intentions, he noticed he was thrown yet again. Unlike last time though, he was able to see and felt the flame behind him. That's when he decided to come up with a plan to both free himself and attack Yan. "Kamehame--," the Avatar of War cupped his hands and began to charge a small blue energy sphere in the center. "HA!" he finished his words and aimed his attack towards the fire and used the momentum to fly towards the stranger. Walid then extended out his arm to try and smack Yan's face with his fist. After that he would try to knock him over with a quick sweep kick and then aimed his fists towards the man's chest. yarru the mwuhuha Yan pushed himself back up to his feet as he heard a familiar call out. The turtle pervert’s move. It was luckily not aimed at him but the flames. Hadn’t the hermit said something about blowing up a house like this? Sure enough the blast put another hole in the wall but it did put out some of the flames. Yan hardly had time to think about it though as the boy was coming back for more. He was that type huh? Didn’t think about anything! Oh well. Wait. Speaking of thinking of shit. He wasn’t there just to eat. He was supposed to pick up a package. The delivery surely wasn’t going to make it now. Fuck. Juch was going to kill him if he came back packageless and covered in more scrapes and bruises on top of things. He was so stern about his useless fighting. This hadn’t been him this time!! But Juch really had no reason to believe that one. The sound of sirens could be heard in the nearby distance. Fire trucks? Police? Crap. He blocked the first strike, sinking his feet firmly into the wet ground and then he vanished in a burst of speed. The kick struck at air and Yan appeared on all fours on one of the still standing tables close to the door, ready to leap away again. “I just wanted food,” he says with a hint of misery. Jax The young Zaunite was impressed by his opponent's defensive tactics. That was always something he admired most because what fun is it to punch a punching bag? He wanted to have a challenge instead of an easy victory. "You aren't going to ge---," the pink-haired warrior was in mid speech as his kick was about to land but then noticed there wasn't even a trace of the stranger anymore. Somehow his opponent managed to escape his blow and that meant one thing, he was fast. A fire deep within the pink-haired warrior was then ignited because speedster was his favorite type of fighters. His rival Lysses was fast so the Avatar of War took great pleasure in defeating anyone who was. "Wait...," the warrior muttered, noticing that his opponent was nearing towards the exit, "WE'RE NOT DONE HERE YET!" yarru the mwuhuha “Sorry,” Yan lets out lightly. “Juch is scarier than you~!” he calls, leaping off the table and towards the open door. Without even pausing to look back his hand stretched out behind him and released a shotgun of blasts to slow down any attempt at following. “Find me another time~” he adds over the noise of exploding floor and possibly Zaunite. He wasn’t that quick but he was smart and as soon as he was out the door his ki signature vanished and he slipped into the still growing crowd gathered to look at the spectacle that was the exploding restaurant. On top of matters, a fire truck did pull up, blocking the pathway between them. Cops followed and soon there were a number of people heading towards Walid with a huge hose. To add to his bad luck for the day, they turned it on without looking to make sure he wasn’t in the way |
