[Combat Rune // Champ 1] This particular visit to Earth was filled with turmoil for the Crimson Typhoon. After slaying a legendary fire horse demon, Vash had to fight a legendary electric lion demon. From there it was demon after demon, it seemed. Although, the monotony was broken up when he forged an ally in an android named Marek, and the two massacred an entire religious cult. I guess one could call it genocide. Never the less, it had to be done. He was growing tired of his stay here. Not just because he was forced to get his hands dirty time and time again, but Earth had a habit of annoying Vash. He really didn’t like the human race. They were arrogant and self centered, and filled with ignorance. If he had his way, Lucifer would send him to wipe out each and every one of them. But, that would mean a whole lot of paperwork, and if there was something Vash hated more than the stink of human flesh, it was the paperwork that would need to be filed once their souls entered Hell. Vash needed a change of scenery. What better way than to get a very real escape to an imaginary place, by way of the telepathic gem. Sitting safely aboard the Valiant, he reached into the inside of his jacket, and pulled out the small shard attached to a rope, closed his eyes, and allowed his mind to go blank. The astral realm materialized around Vash. As it came into focus, he took a second to absorb the scenery, which was a task in of itself. Literally. The air was filled with a thick fog, making it difficult to see. From what he could make out, however, he was standing on a floating island in the sky. In the distance were more of these floating hunks of rock and dirt. They were held together with large chains, each link the size of a person. Above his head he could see what could only be described as flying sharks. The moisture in the fog must have allowed them to breathe. Whatever this place the gem had conjured up was, it actually held a beauty to it, despite the blood hungry sharks circling over head. All that was left now was to wait and see who else would inevitably show up. 389 |

Beerus always had to find himself in a fight. They had things to do on Kelioux, but as the normal the God of Destruction wasn’t going to be entertained with that alone. He wanted to be entertained in battle and now he was fighting against a female Celestial as if it was simply a wakeup call for him. In the end it was just a distraction to why they had come to this planet in the first place. It was also boring for Whis to watch. The girl was putting up a fight, but nothing more. It was nothing that Whis had figured to be a threat yet to the destroyer’s power. He decided that a short trip to the Astral Realm would help him pass the time. With just a flicker of his mind the teal skinned hybrid was mentally transported to the first open spot he could find. He didn’t care who he met or even what they did, but he was just interested in some of his own entertainment. He arrived on a version of what looked like Ippen. It had all the signs, floating islands, clouds and flying sharks. Whis looked around until he saw what he could sense to be a demon flying off in the distance. For sake of conversation or food knowledge they weren’t always the best race to run into, but he would have to do now. Whis floated over towards him calmly with his arms folded behind his back and his knuckles barely touching. He straightened his posture as he got up to the demon and spoke, ”Hello, my name is Whis.” He looked around as he spoke only keeping his mental attention on the demon just in case it attacked while he was daydreaming, ”So I have to ask, is this a vision of the planet Ippen we find ourselves in or is this someplace else from your mind?” WC: 319 Whis has Combat Rune |

“Hello, my name is Whis,” a curious voice came from seemingly out of nowhere. It startled Vash just a bit, he didn’t even notice a power level approaching. He went on to say something about a planet called Ippen. Vash had heard rumors of the place before, but had never actually been there. Evidently, that’s where the gem of telepathy decided to bring him. “You’re awful friendly,” Vash said, remaining on guard. It had been his experience that people who were upfront like that, tended to not be trustworthy. “Well then, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Vash,” he replied, forcing a smile. He didn’t want to be rude with this one. He couldn’t get a good read on his power level… and there was something definitely curious about that. “Ippen, huh…” he grunted. “Never been there. I take it you fancy yourself a traveler?” One of the sharks floating overhead lunged at another, and a shark fight broke out above. Vash couldn’t help but allow his eyes to drift skyward and enjoy the sights. “Not every day that you see something like that,” he mentioned, pointing upward. “It’s strange… I can’t even sense your power level. There’s only a couple of explanations for that. And you don’t seem like you are an android, although, in this day and age, who can really tell,” he chuckled. “Still though. I met someone recently with that same kind of ability, and he was a God. So, I have to ask… are you a God too?” 255//644 |

Vash, was his name or at least the name he called himself. He never trusted the names a demon would give him because to that race many believed that names had incredible power of them. If Vash was what he desired to be called though Whis would have no problem with that. It wasn’t like he had given himself a name or declared himself to be a god. He was actually very polite as well for a demon. This was not incredibly strange, but it was interesting. Then the questions came. Whis was direct in answering them, ”I do travel a bit. It is one of the benefits of my job I guess you can say.” He noticed as Vash had done the battle between the sharks overhead. This clearly wasn’t the planet of Ippen and while it could be a replica of that place, the sharks were moving far to slow for it to be Ippen. The fact that Vash had claimed to never gone there either made it even more obvious really. Then Vash asked a very interesting question about why he couldn’t sense Whis’ energy. The question led right to Lord Beerus and Whis knew it right away. It wasn’t like the Kai’s went around declaring godhood or even meeting people in the Astral Realm. Really who could imagine the Supreme Kai acting like a mortal and meeting people in this realm for something to do, that guy normally had a lot of on plate to deal with. Whis gave a slight giggle as he thought about what Vash had said and his own thinking about the Kai’s. He then turned his attention to the demon, ”Me, I am a humble servant, but to a powerful being. After being around him for so long you acquire some skills. Moving along, you ask that question and I can’t help, but to think that means you met Lord Beerus. He is really the only one I know that actively comes to this place, but that is normally when he is sleeping or really bored.” WC: 345 Whis WC: 664 |

The odd, freakishly tall blue skinned... Person... Giggled before offering an explanation as to why Vash couldn't sense his power level. And then he said the words, although if he was going to be perfectly honest, Vash already knew the answer. He was somehow connected to Lord Beerus. And that got Vash quite excited. The Crimson typhoon was already incredibly fascinated with the God of Destruction, and now that he knew that there was another being like him hopping around the universe... This could mean that big things had officially been set in motion. Vash wondered for a quick moment if Lucifer knew that these two were playing around in the mortal realm, and what that could possibly mean. "Yeah, I've met Lord Beerus," Vash said, a smile growing across his face so large he couldn't hide it. "He's pretty fucking strong! And, if he keeps someone like you around, I have to assume that you are incredibly strong as well!" Vash began to raise his power level. He had learned his lesson when he tangled with Beerus not to challenge these types half cocked. He had to give it his all. "Let me see how strong you are!" Vash cried out as he transformed, raising his power level to its maximum and then dashing forward with a fist cocked back. 221//864 |

The demons words showed that not only had he met Lord Beerus, but had also squared off with him in a spar or something of the sorts within this realm. Considering that they hadn’t met before this he knew that it couldn’t have been a real life meeting because Whis would have clearly been there for that. With the demons words had come intrigue and with that intrigue his seemingly natural tendencies kicked in. The demon wanted to test himself against Whis in combat. If he had tested himself against the God of Destruction it did probably make sense even if the teal skinned hybrid didn’t really desire a battle at this time. He was really just looking to get away from one. Pointless combat never interested him. Unlike Lord Beerus it was just redundant; that was unless he was going to teach something or help a warrior learn something. In this case, it felt like Vash simply wanted to see how strong he was and he wanted to test that against Whis. He didn’t have much of a chance to even explain his situation as Vash had already begun to charge in. He watched the movement of the demon, how he tensed up his muscled and how he clenched his fist. Clearly he was planning his attack, thinking about how he would do and how he would fix mistakes he had made in the past; maybe even mistakes he had made against Lord Beerus himself. Still He was far too tense for him to truly have any chance to even bother Whis. The hybrid extended his arm holding up his hand as if to signal for him to stop. It was strange the way he did it though wasn’t merely a request, but seemingly an order even though Whis didn’t really seem to be hostile at this point. ”I don’t know that this is the right time or place for such an attempt. If you would like to meet in person, I will be by Lord Beerus’ side moving forward while he is awake. It shouldn’t be that hard to find us, all you have to do is look!” WC: 360 Whis WC: Over 1k |
