Evening was falling on the Kame house. Inside the lecherous old man was busy trying to catch a glimpse of Nefta as she went to shower off after the training session they had just had. Outside the fire haired celestial say in meditation as a coastal storm was closing in.

As he sat in silence his mind was not concerned about the winds that buffeted the pink sided house behind him, not was it on the heavy drops of rain that were beginning to caress his skin. Instead it was as if he was not in that place at all. His mind was clear as he focused on the deep resonating energy at his sacrum.

It was in focusing on this energy that he senses the presence of another. His intention had been to try and connect with his celestial lineage, but it seemed in doing so he had made contact with...something else. It was something ancient but familiar. For some reason he felt he should investigate this disturbance and in doing so the gem within his pocket began to warm and then he was subduing in another realm.

The time on Kelioux was coming to an end. In all honesty he didn’t end up hating the planet, but that was probably because he didn’t come into much contact with the natives. It was only the civilization known as ‘The Lost’ and a few others that clearly were not from this world really met up with the destroyer god on this visit. The fact that he hadn’t come here to judge the people though made this trip rather easy for the people of this world. It didn’t hurt though that he got to do plenty of destroying when he was meeting these people from ‘The Lost’.

With a moment of downtime he decided it would be fun to go try to find another planet to visit during his downtime. The best way to do that he could think of was the visit the astral realm. Whatever place he found or even whatever people he found could be a good lead. If nothing else he could always return home too, but that wasn’t that much fun.

He sent his mind into the mental realm looking for something to do. It wasn’t the most interesting place, but it was sometimes the only way people felt comfortable meeting him. Being a god had a few draw backs and this was clearly one of them. Still it would hopefully provide him with a lead.

He popped into a world that slowly took shape around him. He found himself in the middle of dense forest, the light from the sun not even breaking through the canopy that the trees provided with anything more than a dim light. It would make vision a bit of a problem if the situation turned into a conflict, but he didn’t worry about that. He just was hoping this would be worth his time.

The world about him shifted abruptly and soon he found himself standing in the midst of a thick grove of trees. He was forced to squint his eyes to try and see through the dimly lit area. Luckily he wouldn't have to completely rely upon his sight if it came down to,it but for now he decided that using his senses would suffice for now. If there was no danger here he would settle for using no to light his way but it was better to stay safe.

As he walked he began to get an eery feeling. It was the same as he had felt when the gem called out to him. Whatever was here it was something ancient, and something dark. For some reason he got the sense that deep down this presence was familiar to him.

Whatever the case he felt that it was better to be brave and not hide so he decided to speak. Just as he made the decision he could sense that the other was close. His eyes tried to adjust as he caught a figure nearby.

"It seems our environment makes a bad place for first impressions. Still, I might as well introduce myself. I'm Azrael, and whom or what might you be?"

The other being that arrived in this place seemed to also not be comfortable with the lack of light in the area. The yellow eyes of the God of Destruction pierced through the dark forest so that he could make out the shape of this man. Flaring his energy he ignited some of the trees in this place causing a light to form and provide enough so that they could now see one another easily.

The introduction of this man showed that he clearly didn’t either know or see the God of Destruction clearly. Maybe he just didn’t know who he was or what he was capable of. Clearly his role in the Universe was enough about both of those that he would have introduced himself much differently, or at least Beerus thought that might be the case. It was honestly always hard to tell right away. What really gave him a good reading was how the man reacted when Beerus introduced himself. Some didn’t know who he was, some recognized the name and coward in fear and still others begged and pleaded for life. He could learn much about a man just by how they acted in situations like this.

He gave a respectful bow as even the god believed that being humble was important and if he didn’t understand why yet he did know that Whis constantly pushed it on him at all times. He then spoke with a calm and respectful tone, ”My name is Beerus. I go, by many titles as to what I am though. Have you ever heard the name?”

As soon as he spoke the figure was cast into light and he saw for the first time just whom he was speaking to. Part of him was trying to piece together just what type of creature the stranger was but another part of him was reaching back to some distant memory. The memory was one that was not his own but he could feel was a part of him after his transformation into a being of the nether world. Nefta had told him that he was an amalgamation of many celestial beings and as such would have the capability to pull things from his mind that his mortal self would not have known.

This was one of those times. He could feel that many of the memories that had become a part of his mind were all now recognizing the being before them. The deep purple fur, the cat-like face. The ancient that he now stood face to face with none other than the god of destruction, Beerus. Everything within his head told him that he should be cowering in fear, that he was surely doomed even if it was only the astral realm. But that was the reason he had been chosen as the host. He wasn't like the others, he wasn't about to cower in fear just because of a reputation.

Rather than flee the fire haired celestial returned the respectful bow, keeping his eyes upon the other just in case. "Beerus, yes I believe the name does ring a bell. Although I believe your reputation precedes you. To what do I owe the honor of your visit this day?" he asked with a grin.

The man spoke as if he had at least heard the name of the destroyer god before. It was a little interesting to him, but it was also interesting that this man didn’t seem to even care about it. It was possible that he was simply putting on a fake confidence, but it was also just as good of a possibility that he knew he couldn’t truly be destroyed in this Astral Realm. This was a place to practice skills, meet people or simply relax. It wasn’t a place where lives were really at risk. Well that was unless you made the wrong person mad and they tracked you down in the real world. Then yeah it would be a problem.

At least he seemed to know it was an honor to be in the presence of the God of Destruction. It didn’t feel like he was being sarcastic so it was more than likely true honor. Lord Beerus looked around for a brief moment trying to figure out exactly where he was or what this unique place was supposed to be replicating. The dark and dense forest was not a place that was unique to a certain land, but Beerus did know that certain places were more unique in these regards than others.

He looked around for a brief moment before pointing straight up. His energy flared for just a moment until a beam of energy shot straight up into the trees. Connecting with the branches the explosion that followed created an opening for light. This was not a replication of one of the majestic forests at least.

”Sorry about that, I was trying to figure out what this place was supposed to be hinting me towards. I find that when I come to this realm it leads me to another location to visit. Sometimes it is for good and for others it is bad; ultimately my job is my job. Just because I show up doesn’t mean fear needs to be brought around. I actually think of it as more as respect. When people have respect for you, then you will know it by how they act. Simple things like words of respect when addressing someone are more important than you might believe.” His yellow eyes turned to almost pierce the soul of the man who had simply addressed him without a title of respect. A slight smirk came over his face before he continued, ”No need to worry today though. I have other things I am more interested in. Maybe we can meet again, but for now I need to find out where I am.”

Suddenly the God of Destruction blasted into the air breaking out from the trees to figure out what planet this was supposed to be.
