Juch:
Yan (Combat Rune) VS Juch
The door to the ship opened, but jammed halfway through--the grinding of metal against metal squeaked for a moment longer before Juch disabled the command altogether. He had managed to squeeze through the opening, hoisting himself up with one arm, before offering a hand to the redhead below.

After which, the android allowed a sigh to escape as he surveyed the surroundings. A lush blue green greeted him, but for those expecting a scenery on Earth, then it would look completely foreign. It was a good thing that he managed to wrestle the ship from a complete nose dive down into Namek, but...the inside was a mess, and the exterior was rather banged up too. He remained silent, trying to resist the urge to rub his temples.

Instead, he brought a cigar out, and began to light it--the small flame illuminated the evening for a brief moment before dying away. And then, silence reigned once more.
Yarru:
The emergency alarms had started to blare and at first Yan did not even move. He was playing a game of pyramid and he was really close to winning. He sucked at pyramid so it was quite the accomplishment. Ship was crashing, so what? He was used to such things. It didn’t really matter, but as the gravity shifted and his cards flew off the table a sudden sick nostalgia clicked in. The way the ship moved into a nosedive suddenly brought back a specific memory. There is was, Ariel’s crushed skull, fresh and clear in his imaginative memory. He was sure he made it worse than it had been. He couldn’t remember for sure anymore. But it got him moving and he quickly found Juch, his head in tact. Was he angry? It was hard to tell. He was very into the controls as he wrestled them into doing his bidding. Needless to say, the pull of gravity was too strong and the planet below them rushed them forward. Wait, he recognized that planet--

Crash. Big crash. It was okay though, cause Juch’s head was still intact in the end. His was too for that matter. Juch kept his silence, moving towards an exit and Yan paused in following. It was still familiar. Weaseling his way through the mammoth that was Tomoko’s ship to get to a corpse. He shook his head, hating how easily scarred he became mentally and followed after the man in his dusty clothes. The silence was painful but his lips felt sealed shut and he took Juch’s hand to climb out and surveyed the planet instead.

He did know it. It was Namek.

“Uh...Juch...I’m not supposed to be on Namek…” he says, staring out at the green scenery and looking genuinely miffed.

Juch:
Juch exhaled, with smoke billowing from his nostrils as he stared on ahead at the setting sun over the distance mountains, "Indeed, Mister Cass. Although this landing...it would have been more dangerous had we actually landed on Earth. Did you remember to calibrate for those parameters, and not just set a course from point A to point B?"

His voice continued its deep, soft quality, but this situation was anything but. It would be difficult to find a repair station around these parts, but it would have to be done. But at least the tragedy on Grace didn't repeat--for that alone, the android could breathe some sigh of relief. However, a setback was still a setback, "It's possible that our path coinceded with Namek's orbit, if the programmed course was simply a straight line," he continued with the lit cigar still in his mouth, "Which would be unfortunate."

Finally, he turned his head, his face unreadable due to the shadows of the night--there wasn't any street lamps to illuminate their way. After a few moments, he spoke again, "Are you hurt?"
Yarru:
Juch spoke but Yan seemed to be in a bit of a daze. There was a creature in his brain spouting off songs loud and out of tune. Namek. No, Juch didn’t understand. He was not supposed to be on Namek.

“I just put the settings as it felt right,” he murmurs without looking to the man. “Though, doing things as such is why I could never get a license to drive on any planet I’ve so far visited,” he offers bleakly. More than just setting a straight line he’d probably modified some settings to make the ship go faster then it should have and all sorts of blunders Juch would wonder how was even possible when things were repaired.

At the question of not being hurt he blinked, finally snapping a bit out of it. He looked down and he noticed a few bruises and maybe a cracked rib from the actual crash part but nothing really showed through so he shook his head no, remaining absent. He was not hurt, not in ways that mattered. He turned and looked to the android, his boyish face shifting into worry once more. “And you? You’re not secretly leaking oil are you?”
Juch:
An amused snort, although whether it was from genuine mirth or exasperation, it was uncertain. But Juch took the cigar out of his mouth, flicking some of the ashes away, and dangled it in front of Yan for a few seconds before returning it, "Well, if I was leaking, I imagine we'll both be dead by now," he chuckled. There was a reason why they didn't let you smoke at gas stations, "But thank you. I'm fine for the most part."

He made no comment, nor any attempt to scold the redhead. However, the android took the expression of Yan's to be shock from the crash itself, instead of the location of their landing. Thus, satisfied with both of their wellbeing, Juch looked at the ship instead, "Turning it right side up might be a good first step," he thought aloud, "It'd be better than camping outside for the night. But I'll need to look at the structural integrity of it. Hopefully it isn't leaking oil either."

"Meanwhile, could you scout the area? I want to make sure that we're not going to be canned food for something out there."
Yarru:
Yan nods a little, still seeming to look him over suspiciously. He’d basically lied so why wouldn’t Juch? That was his opinion for a lot of things. He couldn’t trust himself how could he trust anyone? He flickered his gaze to the ship at Juch’s next line and scrunched his nose a little. His head was starting to pound and the idea of camping anywhere felt like a bad one. He was used to as such but...

“I know where we are,” he says, rubbing one of his temples with two fingers. He looked back over the land. It all looked the same if you were used to the vastly diverse lands of Earth and Kelioux but to the little god in his head who fed on the memories of a certain Namekian, everything here was quite distinct. It was beautiful. It was home. “There used to be a small guard base not far from here,” he explains, drawing his two fingers past so that his thumb touched there and his hand covered his entire forehead.

“I’m not supposed to be on Namek,” he repeats a bit more solemnly, lifting his hand a little and looking back to Juch with a weary expression.
Juch:
At this point, there was no use in talking about exactly what went wrong--whatever the case was, there was some error in the piloting aspect. If need be, Juch can spend time on it with Yan later. Besides, he was sure that some form of lesson had been hammered in already--and even if it wasn't, talking about it would only oversaturate things. However, when Yan spoke again, the android turned to the redhead, with a more confused look on his face, "Hoh?" he asked, "So you've been here before, then?"

"Perhaps we could get some assistance from the guard base, assuming that it's still around," the android nodded, but stopped again. Yan seemed to be truly worried about something, and this time, it was clear that it wasn't about the crashing itself anymore, "Yan, why aren't you supposed to be on Namek?"
Yarru:
“Not here specifically,” Yan notes dully. At his last question he noticeably paused. He shifted his gaze away again and seemed to debate answering. It wasn’t something he had thought to keep secret but it had become something as such. He had not spoken about it since his time on Kanassa when he was supposed to get total reign on such a problem.

“Well, you remember how I explained I’m a bit...magic…” he offers, keeping his bleak tone. “It caught the attention of a little chaos god...and you know gods and their telepathy bullshit...They just hop around from brain to brain prodding and poking and well…” He shrugged once more nonchalantly. He’d hardly explained anything at all and yet acted like that told the entire story and was done. “She’s quite entertaining but her obsession with this war veteran Namekian should not be fed,” he adds, looking to Juch like he’d just said to most sensible shit in the world. “Hence, me, plus her, plus Namek, equals bad things.” He scrunches his nose and runs his hand through his hair disheveling it. “If I get possessed or some zombie attacks Juch…” he says a bit too seriously it was hard to tell if he was joking or genuinely worried.
Juch:
Oh, the magic part. Juch had a quizzical expression on his face. He had originally thought Yan was just being ridiculous as usual with the analogy to the prison. However, he didn't take it seriously beyond that. Chaos gods? Did Yan hit his head, or was he still being ridiculous? Surely he knew that there was a time and place for everything, and if he was still joking around, now was not the time to do so. However, the old professor decided to give the redhead a chance, and simply played along, "You seem to have an affinity with chaos, Mister Cass," he said lightly, "First Tomoko, and now this."

"If either of those cases happen," he continued, "I'll be sure to slap you for getting us into this mess in the first place. In the meantime, why don't we check out this base that you mentioned? It's be hard to manuever around in another hour or so."
Yarru:
He read the look of disbelief on Juch clearly. That was why he didn’t want to say anything! Juch surprised him though and did not openly doubt his words. He nodded simply at his remark of attachments to chaos. There was something about chaos that spoke to him in a number of ways, including the little girl in his head. He finally got a proper grasp on her though, and using the techniques of that rat bastard fortune teller, pushed her out of his brain for the time being. She would be back he knew, but probably not until he was bored.

He blinked as Juch continued and pursed his lips in a pout as the blame was placed on him entirely. Well, it was probably his fault, though Juch had relied on him without checking his abilities. He was normally more paranoid than that! Whatever he had gotten into on Grace, or wherever he’d been while Yan floated around Damaskia, had made him soft.

He nodded again regardless. “The intel is from during the war, so it could have been destroyed or taken apart by now but…” He twitched his nose again like a cat. “I do sense a few power levels in the distance...suppressed but…More the reason to think guard.” They were very suppressed and far enough a scouter would likely have to be adjusted to find them, yet Yan was sure.
