Hayami released a low sigh within her realm, as the white flooded over her mind. She had once held some dark emotions here, emotions that none around her knew about, not even Hikari. Her quest for answers, but more importantly, for what she was and why she existed. Only pieces appeared on the board, but it was better than when she had none. She pushed a hand through her shoulder-length hair, a contrast to when she had with her previous look. Strangely enough, her mother approved of the color, perhaps because of the memories it brought back. Well, that hardly mattered. The young Celestial stood up and flung a mental message out to the God of Destruction, Beerus. "Meet me in the white room. You know the one, Lord Beerus. I have something to speak with you about." Any of the casual tone that she had once had seemed to have eroded away. After all, she was currently on the same planet with her father, and there had been enough tension between the two of them. Hopefully, Chaos wouldn't intercept the message, but if he did, it wouldn't be too bad. If he did come, he would be greeted by more earth traditional garb, from the country her mother was from, though what was on her feet was more Western. Well, that's what she was told. Her sword was laid against the table that sat in the middle of the bookshelves. She had to talk to Beerus about that book he'd taken. Words: 263 |

It had been a calm couple of days since Lord Beerus had finished up with him adventure on Kelioux. That planet itself he really didn’t get to know well, but the people he found there were at least interesting. He hadn’t yet begun his campaign to once again commit to his job as the God of Destruction and the duties that came along with it, but instead was more of on a mission to figure out exactly what he had missed with his long slumber. Whis only could tell him so much and even his advisor didn’t know it all. Aimlessly traveling around he was starting to get bored when he heard a mental message from one of the people he had met on Kelioux. It was the young girl again, the one he had fought against and the one he had found to be the most interesting when it came to her knowledge. He knew of the place in the Astral Realm where they had met before so going there was simple for the destroyer god and in the blink of an eye he was suddenly there popping into the white room out of nothingness. It was a sight that would have caught most by surprise, but someone expecting him hopefully wouldn’t be rattled. Lord Beerus looked around for a few moments to see if anything had changed around here before addressing the girl and what she had brought him here for. ”I don’t normally just come to requests like this, but I was actually pretty bored and this at least seemed interesting,” he began, his tone obviously smug, but still not disrespectful. He actually had started to grow interested enough in this girl and her powers that he didn’t hate her; well that and she was always respectful. That was certainly a plus. ”So what is it that you need to share with me, and why must it be in a place like this?” He asked calmly only looking for answers now. Beerus arrived, to her smile, though it seemed he was initially more interested in her librbary of memories. Large as it was, the organization that she had put into place since she had started ti meet the God of Destruction had caused the place to stay relatively smaller than the chaotic mess he had likely first encountered. She was, at the very least, proud of that accomplishment. The young Celestial nodded towards the deity and replied first with, "Lord Beerus." Of course, the question was something that she waited for him to ask, since she was certain that he needed to ask first. Respect was the first thing that the deity wanted, as the books had written about a terrible temper. The young Celestial waved a hand, and a book that looked similar to the one he had taken from her in their battle appeared in her hand, "I need to tell you about the book that you... uhm... borrowed off of me." She smiled, and there was no resentment in her tone, as she placed it on the nondiscript table that sat not far from where they stood. Her fingers waved gracefully as the book flipped through the pages, "No doubt you have discovered the main use of the grimoire. The spellwork that most Celestial use to travel to Toffit." The pages halted around halfway through the book where she tapped the pages, "However, Lord Beerus, that is not all that there is in there. Other spellwork and meaningless magics await. But what you may not have known as how to access the more... nefarious works. Works one such as yourself would find more amusing." From where she had tapped the page, the letters started to flow up and then re-arrange into new words, a language that Beerus likely wasn't too familiar with, the newest version of the Celestial language. Hayami floated the words up a bit and then wrote in the air with a quick penmanship that translated the words 'Forbidden Arts' and 'Destruction Arts'. She smiled as she turned to face him directly, "Each of these arts were inspired by your past work, Lord Beerus. Planets, galaxies, civilizations, rulers... these are the spells that I've not touched yet, but have read about. If you wish, I'll send the new alphabet of the Celestials to you, or to Whis."

The God of Destruction listened closely to what the girl had to tell him. He hadn’t yet started to look over the book he had taken from her, but her revelations about it were certainly interesting. It felt as though that particular book was a good source of her information that she had about it; not all of it, but certainly a book that contained a number of important bits of information. He looked as she started to reveal the new written form that Celestials were using and that the parts of the book she figured he would be most interested in were shown to him. Tilting his head slightly his eyes widened as if he was trying to see if he recognized it or not, but with no luck. Moving his right hand up to his chin his fingers caressed his face ever so slightly before he shrugged his shoulders and moved it back to his side allowing it to calmly go back to its natural rested position. ”I am interested to know if Whis even knew of this. From what I know, he has spent a good amount of his time while I was sleeping working on other art forms. He might have simply ignored it though wanting to leave something interesting for us to learn going forward. I don’t plan on taking another nap anytime soon so it is clearly possible that he just was enjoying his time off. I can’t be that mad about it, but I would like for him to get this. I have a few other things I am looking into right now so it would be best for him to handle this one.” Lord Beerus said. He made it sound as if he was busy, but he was really just being lazy. This type of stuff normally bored him when it came to languages and it was just easier if Whis just learned it and shared it with him. He did want to know about these spells and stories though. Those certainly sounded interesting to the destroyer god. WC: 346 Beerus WC: 680 |

"I wouldn't know if Whis knew...I barely met the guy on Kelioux," Hayami said with a finger just under her lower lip, before she smiled, not that it mattered that much. Her hand waved to close the book that had been opened, before she stepped towards the bookshelf and seemed to look for a few moments before she gripped at another book, this one had a much more elaborate design to it. She stepped out and swapped the places of the books with her psychic powers, before the young Celestial walked towards it and sighed. "Unfortunately, Lord Beerus, there are stories I've found that speak of you as a coward. A false god, by the same tongues. They are human priests of Earth, whom so many different religions. I don't think I've found but a few that could even be said to have been inspired by you." The book itself held many different designs together, the many religions of Earth that she had researched about. Actually, this was the first bad news she had ever delivered to him, if she recalled their past interactions correctly.

This conversation changed rather quickly. It went from what seemed like a little bit of helpful information into a different tone than he was used to from the young celestial. She explained how his slumber had apparently allowed others to write about him in a negative and cowardly way. Beerus looked around the room listening to her explain it and not really taking the stories well. While the God of Destruction understood people would write what they wanted it didn’t mean he tolerated a blatant lack of respect. Even if the storyteller didn’t know it was still a falsehood that he didn’t like. ”Earth you say,” Lord Beerus began as he tilted his head and started to think about the planet to recall his last visit to it. He really didn’t remember, but he knew if he asked Whis would when he saw his attendant once again. He then got a sadistic grin on his face showing he had diabolical plans on his mind, ”Is the one that wrote these stories still alive, or is it simply that the planet needs to be taught a lesson. I guess that is probably something you are not aware of at this point. Either way, I might have to pay them a visit. This Earth seems like a hotspot of action as of late. I have heard so much and not gone there yet. Maybe it is time I join the activities, it could actually be somewhat interesting to make sure they know about the true nature and power of the God of Destruction. I think that would be fair don’t you agree?” The question was very nonchalant. He had a few things he had to do before he went around again, but if trouble was really calling to him he was going to have to respond to it in one way or another. Maybe he and Whis would pay this Earth a visit sooner rather than later. WC: 325 Beerus WC: 1,005 |
