Agatha briefly pondered the wisdom of getting into another training session with a stranger. Yes, it really helped her grow in her abilities, and she couldn't be killed... but that didn't mean it didn't still feel like she was dying when she woke up. Or, whatever it was called when you broke a telepathic link.

With a small sigh, she withdrew the ruby colored gem from the pouch in her trunk where she kept it and allowed it to whisk her away. When her surroundings refocused around her, she took stock of her new environment. Whatever planet she was on, it was morning. The sun was only just peaking above the horizon, casting a beautiful glow upon the landscape. It was a bit chilly. Agatha shivered a bit, but the cold was refreshing. She was standing in a field that had tall grass and was peppered with small flowers of all colors and a few sparse trees.

As she waited patiently for a training partner to respond, the girl made herself ready. She pulled her hair back into a thick, loose ponytail. Consisting of a mixture of braids and dreadlocks that were a fiery red orange color at the roots and faded into a dark brunette, with the sides of her head shaven to give it a mohawk effect, her hair was typically the first thing people noticed about her. She was human, and very young -- no older than eighteen, if that. Her height was shorter than average, and her frame was thin and lithe. The clothes she wore were simple and unadorned, comfortable looking for a spar. A necklace hung around her neck that had a white heart shaped locket dangling next to a small metal pan flute.

Finding a tree to lean against, Agatha put the small flute to her lips and began to play to pass the time.

The sound of hitting could be heard as the Avatar of War slammed his fists into a wall He was sick of Earth because it lacked suitable people for him to fight Fighting was the young Zaunites way of life and since he didnt have a challenge recently his mind was slowly breaking Just as he was about to give up he had another idea

“The Astral Realm,” he muttered to himself, “That’s what I should do.”

Quickly he focused his entire mind onto the tiny gem and watched as his body traveled at the speed of light. Once everything stopped, he was on an unknown planet or so he first thought. After he took a closer inspection, it looked as if he was back on Earth.

“Dang it I didn’t want to come back here,” he shouted and then noticed music in the background, “Is someone playing that?”

In his search he managed to spot someone. It was a woman and she was resting against a tree. Did she just show up for some peace and quiet? He had to know the answer to that in case he attacked and later felt bad about it. Hopefully she was just waiting because the Avatar of War ventured there for a fight.

Loud antics from the new arrival brought her out of her concentration. The music cut off as she withdrew the instrument from her lips and allowed it to fall against her chest and dangle once more from the cord that hung around her neck. She'd been waiting for some time for an opponent to arrive.

Agatha got up and closed the distance between them. "Good morning," she told him with a smile and a pleasant tone. Though her expression was calm, she was trembling a little on the inside. Whoever this guy was, she could sense that his power level vastly outweighed her own. He was easily one of the strongest individuals she'd met... and the first of such power that she would fight with. It was... humbling.

He also had an air about him that felt as though he was much more interested in getting straight to the point than easing into things with a little ice breaking chat -- which was fine. They were both here to fight, after all. Settling herself into a balanced stance, Agatha said, "I'm ready when you are."

Once he positioned himself, or whatever he did to prepare for a spar, she moved. The way Agatha figured it, there was no way this fight wasn't ending with her not on her ass so she may as well jump in head first. Stepping forward, she aimed two swift jabs at his jaw before pulling up her leg in an attempt to knee him in the gut. Mentally, she was prepared for him to have an immediate retaliation. Physically?

Well, she'd see soon enough how quickly and efficiently he reacted.

The Avatar of War
Walid was confused at first; it seemed as if the mysterious stranger wanted to have a chat instead. That’s when he started to get disappointed; he left Earth in order to find a fight. Still it didn’t really matter; he figured meeting someone new was good enough. Right as he was about to respond, she said something the Avatar of War wanted to hear.

“Awwwesome,” he said as he readied himself, “Show me whatchu got!”

His opponent then moved forward and completely surprised the young Zaunite. He didn’t know many women who’d bring things to an in-fight. The blows struck his jaw and sent Walid’s head flying backwards. Then as the next attack came, the Avatar of War moved his arm so that it’d collide with her knee.

“Gotta do better than that,” he said with a smirk.

As cocky as he was, he did felt power from her assault. It wasn’t enough to knock him out, but if they were bundled up with more, he knew that’d be a different story. Quickly, so that he wouldn’t let her have all the fun, he spat fire onto his own hands. The burning sensation that he felt hurt him slightly, but he learned to ignore the pain.

“Now let’s see how you do against these!” Walid muttered and then lunged forward.

He would then fire wild punches after wild punches, trying to land each one against her. After around six he stopped and stood still for a moment. The Avatar of War didn’t make a move at first and then finally made one. He inhaled all the air that he could; apparently the assault took a lot out of him.

Urgh I can’t breathe.

The human was greatly surprised when her first attack landed, though she covered that shock well. Maybe he was going easy on her? Who knew. Either way, it didn't take him long to step up his game.

Agatha watched with interest as the man proceeded to ignite his fists with fire from his mouth. "Huh. That's a new one, gotta admit," she told him with both respect and wariness. Direct contact with fire rarely felt pleasant. How he managed to withstand his own flesh being consumed by the stuff was beyond her, and yet she was witnessing it happen all the same.

With the practiced grace of a performer, she leaped back and went full defensive. Her balance was nearly perfect, but her speed could not match his. He quickly caught up to her after the first few punches, and while she deftly blocked the ones that remained it did nothing to deter the searing heat of the flames.

She couldn't suppress the low grunt of pain that forced its way up her throat. Finally, he let off and appeared to need to take a breather. While Agatha considered herself a mostly good sport, the idea of this practice was to prepare for a real fight... and in a real fight it would not do to give your opponent time to recover. "Oh, we're not done just yet, sweetheart," the woman told him with a mischievous grin.

Like a switch, she flipped from full defensive to offensive while he was still in point blank melee range. Using one hand, she reached out to snatch the clothing at his shoulder to keep him from being able to move away from her. Torquing her entire body from her hips to her shoulders, she aimed a rib shattering palm strike with her other hand directly at his sternum.

The pink-haired warrior attacks had succeeded, but for some reason he was out of breath. Had his workout routine finally gotten to him? While he wanted to take a break and relax, he knew that he couldn’t. In fact, his opponent’s words told him that things were far from over. Walid then waited for her assault to see if she could back up her words.

Unfortunately for him, she really could. Her palm collided with the Avatar of War’s sternum and completely shut him up. It was as if he needed more than just a small breather as he gasped for air. It also made him think if that’s what she planned all along. Still, he didn’t want to give up just yet. He staggered around until he finally found his balance.

“Time for round two,” he said, but sadly that’s all he could get out.

After his words left his mouth, the young Zaunite fell backwards until he was no longer conscious anymore. With it, the world of the Astral Realm flickered back to Earth. Walid managed to open his eyes and wondered what happened. Was he defeated?
