It didn't take the mighty King Cold to realize one pretty important fact about himself since he decided to infiltrate his own army to flush out a traitor in the midst of his own organization. Leadership had made him lazy, out of practice. He had been reinstated at the level of a grunt within the planet trade organization under the pseudonym of a changeling named Jelid. Even thought he was forced to hold his power back for the sake of completing his task undiscovered, he soon realized just how much he had relied upon his natural gifts to allow him to overpower his opponents. Now that he was on an even playing field in terms of power, practice in one on one situations seemed to become of more importance to the changeling leader. He had discovered this nifty little gem that tapped into his natural telepathic affinity, Whisking his consciousness away to the astral realm to seek out other fighters. He had only done this a couple of times so far, but he was realizing that this tool was actually pretty useful, and he would be a fool not to take advantage of it whenever time would permit him to do so. Fresh off a recent excursion with his troupe, he found himself with a bit of downtime. And so, with a deep breath, he grabbed ahold of the gem of telepathy, and the world around him went dark. A new world materialized around his figure, pixelated at first before sharpening into a crystal clear image. He was floating in space, several planets all around him. And then, whoosh, a soaring comet streaked real close by. Too close for comfort, actually. And then another. And another. He had found himself in the middle of an asteroid shower. Whoever the astral realm presented to him this time around had better have his wits and reflexes ready to work. This wasn't going to be an easy one. 325 |

Endings were always dreadful and rarely happy. Atleast, not in Rilldo's case. His stay on the peaceful environment was nearing it's final days and he planned to bear the fruits of his training. The speed boost that Elder gave him made Rilldo feel reborn, almost. The only thing that was missing was a sacrificial lamb to test his new abilities against. And since Yaidrat was pretty much deserted from worthy opponents, the blue android had resorted to the damn gem once again. Making new acquaintances was a scary process but it could help him out in the future. And so, he pressed the magic jewelry slowly till it transferred him into the sparring dimension where he would get to have a mini fight with someone. "Here goes. It better be good!" Slowly opening his eyes, his vision went from blurry to more clear and turning into a completely new setting. Rilldo found himself levitating in outer space, meteoroids flying around him and planets in the distance. Gravity however wasn't as bad as he had imagined from such a place. To make things worse, he noticed a huge man where he felt interaction was inevitable. Another action he dreaded to go through with. You," he said with a serious tone, pointing his index finger. "I demand an introduction. Immediately." Folding his arms and straightening his back more to decrease the difference in height between the two, he waited how King Cold would take his request. "Well now," King Cold scoffed and cleared his throat at the rudeness being thrown in his direction. "It seems someone has forgotten their manners today. Or, do you always treat strangers with such barbaric disrespect?" The muscle bound changeling turned his nose up at the newcomer in disgust. "Just because you are a... Whatever it is you are... Doesn't mean you have to be uncivilized. Allow me," Cold cleared his throat once again. "My name is King Cold," he nodded towards the rude stranger as he greeted him. "Although I highly doubt you are one for such formalities. In that case, you may refer to me simply as Cold. Now then, might you have a name as well? Or have you lost it along with your manners?" The Changeling leader was really just toying with the stranger at this point, trying to frustrate him into making the first move. Still though, there was something about this one... Something amicable. Obviously his communication skills needed improvement, but there was something about that fire in the tone of his voice that Cold found endearing. He could possibly make a good commander in the Planet Trade Organization, under the right guidance of course. 200/525 |

Having previously experienced being made fun of by the way Rilldo interacted, the machine was just barely able to withstand the urges to curse at his adversary. Hearing King Cold introduce himself, he thought instead of losing his temper, the android could have some fun as well. At Cold's expense, of course. "Cold huh? That's a funny name," he said while his eyebrows arched and a comical smile appeared on his face. Although he found the title of 'king' slightly overrated, it did give the purple alien a sense of authority. Rilldo was interested to what kind of posse Cold had working for him. "What makes you a king anyway?" The General asked as he walked to get closer to King Cold and feel out the conversation. Curiosity had struck him. There was no harm in socializing anyway, so he thought. His competition's answer was essential for the outcome of the spar. Rilldo disliked Cold's tone but if he could have possible business with the changeling he would just see try to ignore it. The android had previously worked under a master to get stronger and he wouldn't hesitate to repeat his actions. All for the same purpose. 201/445 |

At all times, Cold tried to carry a certain dignified demeanor about him. Remaining calm, cool, and collected allowed him to present a certain level headed confidence that was an essential personality trait of being a leader, especially one in control of a galactic organization like the Planet Trade Organization. A collective like that couldn't have a loose cannon calling the shots. That's how people got themselves killed. That being said, he didn't appreciate the way this guy was joking about his name. 'Cold' was a family name, passed down from generations to generations. It was more of a title than anything else, a symbol of being a leader. The PTO had been apart of the Cold family for what seemed like an eternity, and all the great rulers of the passed took on that moniker. Taking the name of Cold was a pledge to even under his umbrella of authority that he would use intellect and reason to make decisions, rather than act on impulse and emotion. There was no way that this heathen could know the histories of the PTO or King Cold for that matter, and there simply wasn't enough time to explain that to him now. Assuming he could understand such morals. He decided he would continue to let the insults graze over him harmlessly, instead to remaining calculating and cautious. "Well," Cold cleared his throat. "Not that I feel the need to justify myself or who I am to someone with your... Particular shortcomings... But, it just so happens that I run a little operation known as the Planet Trade Organization. Perhaps you've heard of us. Then again, I might be inclined to venture a guess that you don't get out much. It's quite possible you haven't." Cold folded his arms behind his back and began to slowly take a few paces. "I also happen to have quite a good deal of authority on the Planet Frieza. It's sort of a family ordeal. You probably wouldn't understand," he stopped pacing and looked at the stranger in the eyes. "That's a pity. Someone with your brash demeanor could do great things in my organization. I have an eye for talent, and I like to target people with your kind of personality. Which reminds me, you haven't yet told me your name." Cold enjoyed a lot of things in life, and one of them being the sound of his own voice. God he liked hearing himself talk. He couldn't help it 479//1000+ |

There was something about assertive figures. King Cold was one of them, and they just had that special something that could persuade others to jump roofs for them. That would be a powerful skill to have too! But, Rilldo being as selfish as he was wouldn't go thát far, but the android certainly saw potential. The promising prospect did it for him. "My name? It's Rilldo. General Rilldo, for you," the android humbly introduced himself, albeit very late. But given the fact he had focused on the Changeling's talk, it was justified. The tad bit of arrogance he showed in his presentation would show enough confidence to trigger a decision for King Cold. And for Cold to use the words 'Planet' and 'Organization' was enough for the android to verify his conspiracies. The robot was hooked, addicted and wanted more. It's hard to stop something when you're so hyped about it, however, it was crucial for Rilldo to keep it subtle, "That organization of yours... You should tell me more about that." The timer Rilldo had set for himself was about to go off. He had it enabled to remind himself not to toy around too long and get back on with his mission at hand. So, it was time for the General to leave, but he simply had to confirm another meeting to take place. "But.. Not now. How about dinner next week?" Rilldo offered his companion as friendly as he could. Perhaps the comedy he added would spark something nice between them? Nothing to lose, so worth a try. "Until we meet again." WC: 270 TWC: 715 |
