"I wonder, Astrea, do you think it'd be possible to contact other Avatars... you know, ones who aren't Walid? He's kind of not who I imagined I'd be meeting up with, you know?" Gwen asked, surrendering her doubts to the Patron. She knew Walid from years ago, and even if he changed, he was very insensitive about Gwen's feelings towards him. Even going so far as to call her sweetheart. Some nerve he had! "I suppose I could try to find others. It shouldn't be hard now that I have a base reading to go by, I can definitely tell when I'm feeling other Patron's influences." Astrea said, a calm and gentle tone as she played along. She didn't know what Gwen's plan was. Did she mean to jump from Namek already and use her Instant Transmission technique to go somewhere else, or did she simply mean to meet them in the Astral Realm? It wasn't quite clear, so Astrea decided to make the decision for her. A moment later, and without warning poor Gwen, Astrea pulled the young maiden into the Astral plane, giving her no choice but to face the young man she'd found. She hoped that they got along a little better than she and Walid did, though that wouldn't be asking a lot. "H- hello?" Gwen asked, her voice echoing across eternity as the field before her was splayed out. It was a lush blue sea of grass, Astrea again placing her on Namek. She didn't mind, it was quite beautiful. "Is anyone here?" She asked nervously. She hadn't been expecting such a quick jump into this plane, she only noticed because she was no longer in her private quarters onboard the ZSC Gloria, and she instead was in the middle of a field. She huffed, wishing Astrea would have warned her at least a little. WC: 310 TWC: 310 |

"Ra..." "Not now Gygesse, I don't have time to waste. You know that." Raphael stopped the goddess in her tracks as he swiftly read through the Zaunite texts before him. He was searching for a way to gain Talos' power from Roland, since he had gone missing. His main objective was and had always been to gather the others and head home to Zaun, but it had been stalled back for years. Now was the time to buckle down and truly begin to move the plan forward, and to do that he needed Talos. "This isn't a matter of wasting time, but that astral gem stone of your's has begun to emit a signal. It's almost like we're being paged. Take the time this once then return to your studies." The motherly voice pleaded and was met with the sound of a slamming book. "Okay, okay! You win..." The Zaunite pushed away from his desk and grabbed the gem from it's case. The moment of contact shifted the world around him. Everything faded away bit by bit as a new world was constructed. He stood alone in a field waiting. "H-hello? Is anyone here?" An unknown voice called out from behind pulling the Zaunite. "Hello" Raphael replied as his eyes focused on the woman before him. There was something familiar about her, but he couldn't quite pick out what it was. wc:240 |

"Hmhm," Astrea giggled, "He's here, child." A stoic greeting sounded from behind her, and she turned to face the man whom the voice belonged to. Gwen turned, and was stunned for a moment. The man's appearance was rather ruff, shaggy black hair and piercings all over his face. She didn't mean to stare, but she couldn't really help it. "H-hello," She said, with a quaint bow, "I am Gwen of Aeon, the Avatar of Justice and Innocence. I've asked Astrea to bring me here to meet another Avatar, and you are?" She asked, extending her hand in an attempt to be polite and shake the man's hand. She didn't like to be the one to judge a book by its cover, but she hoped this man was a little nicer than Walid, despite his appearance. WC: 135 TWC: 445 |

Raphael froze in shock. His mind completely unable to come up with the right words in response. All he could do was stare at her. Go on, say something. Gygesee's voice rang through the scattered silence of his mind and begun to pull pieces together. "It's nice to meet you, Gwen. I'm Raphael of Antilles, the Avatar of Nature of Growth, or Life for short." His introduction flowed flawlessly as his hand met with her's. With that out of the way, tons of questions began to spring into his mind. "So Gwen, are you currently on Zaun? How's everything over there? I know that my mission was supposed to be a quick one, but the other Avatars have been quite stubborn about returning home. Please do tell me that Zaun is, at the very least, still in existence." wc:144 twc:384 |

"Hm? Oh, yes! It's very much still there!" Gwen said with a laugh. He had really been gone a long time, hadn't he. Hm, well then she guessed she had some explaining to do. She didn't really like to brag, but she had to tell him the story from her perspective, didn't she? "Zaun is fine. I mean, they are still fighting to regain the entire planet, but Aeon stood throughout the war. By the looks of it the PTO stopped reinforcing their troops, so all we need is to get everyone together to go give 'em the boot." Gwen said, smiling as she stretched her arms. It was really simple sounding, but Zaun was a big place. They could be picking PTO off their planet for decades to come. "You know, the militia and I, we made sure that Aeon was a beacon of hope, even when PTO was dropping bombs and troops left and right we stood firm. Damage to the city was pretty much nonexistent, and there were actually no civilian casualties since the time we'd secured the city's walls. Since then, I can count on my hands how many men we've lost. Though each of them carried with them the spirit of freedom, and their spirits won't rest until Zaun is free again." Gwen said, sort of trailing from an upbeat speech of inspiration to a solemn remembrance of her fallen comrades. She actually hadn't been around when any of them died, so she was spared the brutality. However, she knew some of them, and considered them all to be friends. "I'm not actually on Zaun at the moment, however. I've come to Namek in search of the others. I... regrettably have only found Walid." She said, looking both disturbed and irritated that the Avatar of War was her only find. WC: 305 TWC: 750 |

"Oh thank the Gods. This is all more than great to hear. I've been immensely worried about home ever since I left... I just couldn't assert myself enough to complete the one mission I was given." Raph dropped his head into his hands in self pity. The one thing his homeland requested from he was never completed. "The Avatars were needed, yet we never returned to stop this invasion. It's a good thing demigods started to rise and summon their own Avatars, like you. Astrea is one that I know little about despite being another Antillesian. Hell, Gygesse, herself, barely knows about her..." The Antillesian shrugged and stepped forth closer to his new ally. He gently placed his right arm on her shoulder and gave a quick pat. "Thank you for all you've done for our homeland, and for calling me here. I really needed this. As his words dropped so did his hand from her shoulder. He took a step back and let out a slight chuckle after the moment of seriousness was shattered by the mention of Walid. It'd been months since he and Raph had seen each other, and it was just good to hear his name rather than putting up with him. "Regrettably indeed." he paused to regain his breath and combat the upcoming laughter, "Sorry that he's the first one to greet you, but I'm sure you're having a good time with him. Never a dull moment around that guy. That's for damn sure!" WC:258 TWC:642 |

Gwen giggled at Raphael. He was so ecstatic to hear their home was still in one piece. Gwen almost felt bad for him. He really must have been away for awhile if that was worrying him. It became pretty apparent early on in the war that Gwen and the Aeon Militia were not going to lose the city. However, if they hadn't made the decisions they did, it was unlikely that could still be said. "I'm glad to see you so thrilled, really. I can't believe you have all been away so long, really." She said, rather calm and pleased by Raphael's reaction, "There is still much to do back home, but they've done a good job there without me still. The city is so well enforced it's hard to make a move toward the city without feeling some sort of retaliation. Of course, refugees have been coming in droves, and if we don't get help there to at least expand the territory we've reclaimed, then we're going to run out of elbow room fairly quickly." Gwen explained the situation. She in no way meant to force any of the other Avatars back to Zaun with her, it was just her understanding that they'd want to go. It made sense, right? The only one she was warned would not want to come, is him, the Reaper. However, she planned to avoid him, though he arrived just days before she departed. Even with his help alone, Gwen thinks they might be able to make a substantial push, however it was still too early to tell. She would feel much better if she could get the others. Aron was a good start, but Elric has given him the task of protecting Gwen until she can make the trip back home. However, she didn't feel she needed it really, but with Walid it was hard to tell. "So, where are you, and how soon can we meat face to face to further discuss the operations back on Zaun?" Gwen said, blushing as she remembered the third of the Avatars she meant to fetch. Lysses. She hoped that Raphael had seen him at least, but it was hard to tell. Elric said he was on Kelioux when he left, but there was no telling how long he stayed. "And have you spoken to... Lysses?"
