Whis was no fool. He had met a young girl that had seemingly spoken of her power to sense divine energy at the same time that he too had sensed an old acquaintance on Planet Namek. He was not certain that they knew one another, but they had both arrived together, with a few others that Whis had also felt the presence of. He wanted to stay and meet them all, but he had to get back to Lord Beerus. With the deity in combat on Earth, Whis wanted to make sure that the God of Destruction didn’t get out of hand. He would leave for now, but he couldn’t help himself. As he was traveling to Earth he allowed his mind to travel off to the Astral Realm where he would hopefully be able to attract Chishan through his mental grasp. The Saiyan that had claimed to be gifted powers from a God himself and from what the pure blooded hybrid had seen truly did have them. Even if they were gifted powers the powers were true and this particular man was currently the strongest mortal that Whis had come in contact with since Lord Beerus’ awakening. He wanted nothing more, but to speak with him once more and to learn more. He knew eventually they might find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict, but for now he seemed friendly enough. Whis didn’t desire to hide any information at this point. He had recalled the scene he had met Agatha at in its exact replication he changed the blank space in the Astral Realm to this. He was suspicious that they knew one another and if that was the case he figured the Saiyan might recognize it. Whis was interested to see his response. The only difference now was that even with the setup the same, no Agatha and no food; it never tasted as well in the Astral Realm anyways. Simply waiting patiently he was expecting the godly Saiyan to arrive at any moment and he was focused on grasping his reaction to find out exactly if the two knew one another and to what extent. Champ 2 It had been over half a year since his first meeting with the attendant, teacher and servant. That's how Whis had introduced himself to Chishan after all; no description of who he worked for or what he was beyond that. It had been enough for the Saiyan, who found the attendant to be quite pleasant to talk to. Their meeting had been short but sweet and they had parted on relatively peaceful terms. In all honestly, Chishan hadn't taken the time to research Whis. Things had happened rather quickly right after that and his attention to it had been lost with it. It wasn't until now, almost seven months later, that the name even sparked any recollection in the Saiyan. It had been Agatha that had come rushing back in all excitement over her meeting with Whis that prompted his memory and reminded him about his own meeting with the attendant. So Whis was on Namek. Or had been, at least. He was rather surprised to feel the familiar energy of the deity fluctuating off of his gem, summoning him to the astral realm. Curious given that he had met the gypsy on this world but one he couldn't bring himself to question too much. He mentally reached out to the stone and connected with it, bringing him inside to a new world. Or what should have been a new world. But instead it was pretty much a picture perfect remake of Namek. Chishan glanced around the area a bit before a wide smile broke across his face and he let out a small laugh. His eyes turned back to Whis as he continued to grin. "So my girlfriend tells me you two had the pleasure of meeting. She was quite enamored with you, Whis," He said to the attendant, teasing the deity with little to no shame. WC: 308 |

It didn’t take long to figure out a number of things. First was the most obvious and that was that Chishan clearly knew the gypsy lady that Whis had spent some time with on Namek. It wasn’t like the Saiyan hid it at all anyways. He came right out and said it adding in that she was not only someone that Chishan knew, but was something that he had a much closer relationship with. Even with the powerful being referring to her as his girlfriend. That was certainly not something that Whis had expected, but it did really make sense. Only a few beings would be able to explain her power to her and if Chishan truly was given power from a god himself then he or whomever it was that gave him that power would know. It was still somewhat strange to him and he wanted to know more about the Saiyan now than ever before. He knew Lord Beerus was regaining his strength and he figured inevitably they might run into this man and his friends in a not so friendly environment. If that day ever came Whis wanted to know what he was going to be dealing with. Still he hoped they would be able to avoid such conflict as it seemed at this point almost pointless. Whis gave a giggle at the fact that the girl was enamored by him he hadn’t expected anything like that from the encounter they had even if it did go well. He gathered himself quickly in order to keep the conversation going, ”You know she was intriguing herself. She had some of the best food with her too. It was actually a chance meeting. I was preparing to leave Namek when I saw her off in the distance and more importantly smelled the food she had with her. I hope you don’t mind, seeing as you too are clearly closer than I had anticipated.” WC: 324 Whis WC: 683 |

Whis giggled. That was...unexpected. Chishan's brows raised at the short, amused sound and it caused a small chuckle to escape from his grinning mouth at it. There were certainly a lot of things he expected from an encounter like this; Whis had been full of questions and comments the last time they met. But a short giggle over meeting Agatha? He wished he could blame the attendant but the gypsy did have a way with people. More so with gods, it seemed. Another short laugh came out as Whis practically apologized for spending time with her. "That's not a problem, Whis. Agatha is quite friendly and loves to meet new people. I'm sure she talked your ear off, knowing her," He was still a bit in the dark over who Whis was, beyond a rather knowledgeable and friendly being. He was an immortal and he called himself a teacher so one could only assume he had educated other gods as well. But attendant and servant...all these thoughts and questions came up now rather than before. It helped that he wasn't as stressed or as mopey as he had been the first time they met. "She's an excellent cook so I have no doubt you got a delicious meal," He continued with a grin. "I'm just bummed out I missed a chance to see you in person. Twice now we've met and it's only been through the astral realm. This may feel real but it doesn't quite measure up to the real deal, you know?" He turned a little to look out at the Namekian landscape that rolled out around them. "So what's the deal with Namek? Looking for something in particular or just taking in the sights?" Whis listened closely to what Chishan had to say. The interactions were the type of friends, but he felt it was almost too clear that some little bit of tension could be sensed. It was possible that the Saiyan didn’t realize this because he didn’t know everything about the attendant and yet Whis knew he had to keep Lord Beerus from meeting this one just yet. Whenever that meeting would take place, it would be clearly have the makings of a possible hostile battle. He didn’t hesitate though continuing the conversation to keep up the proper flow and learn more about this powerful being, ”She was intriguing and actually pretty entertaining. Considering I was just drawn to the food to start with it was clearly a pleasant surprise.” Chishan then expressed a bit of remorse to not being able to meet in while he was on Namek followed by almost the exact same question that Agatha had asked as well. Why Namek? Whis had no problem sharing the why, even if he didn’t fully divulge all of the facts, ”I was simply seeking knowledge. I had been taking care of a few things over the past couple of decades and when I was traveling around I heard one of the best sources for information was the Grand Elder of Namek. He was every bit of the help I was looking for, so I definitely didn’t waste my time here. Still I couldn’t stay long, duties as always are waiting.” Whis looked out over the planet replica of Namek he had sculpted with Chishan now. He wanted to get a grip on the man’s desires and the best way he knew to do that was to simply ask. It might have been too direct, but he asked either way, ”You have asked me a few questions, so I must learn something of my own. You said that young girl was close to you, even a girlfriend if I recall. I don’t mean this to sound threatening, but as a powerful being of a naturally warrior race wouldn’t having someone you cared about such as that be a burden? What if someone would use your feelings against you in combat?” He paused only for a moment to let his question sink in, but he didn’t give enough time for a response; continuing on to make his point clear, ”Emotions can be a great fuel for power, but they are also combustible. You mentioned before your desire to help out any in need which is an honorable goal; still what happens if emotions are on one side and goals on the other. They might not always match up as you would hope.” WC: 449 Whis WC: Over 1K |

Chishan smiled as Whis spoke of Agatha in the highest regard perhaps a god like him could. "Trust me, you've only touched the tip of the iceberg. She's quite the incredible woman. She actually has a knack for getting the attention of deities," The Saiyan could probably go on for several minutes about Agatha, if not hours. Even before he knew he had loved her, he knew she was a special kind of person. And every day he found new reasons to be impressed by her. But he wasn't about to drown the attendant in all that. Much like his lover had asked, Chishan was curious to know why Whis had come to Namek for knowledge. There were things to be learned here no doubt; Guru was quite ancient and possessed quite an array of knowledge that was worthy of listening to and studying. And the Namekian people were an interesting in themselves; what with their lore and history. It was more odd that the deity was here during a time of war. But he explained his reasons in the most veiled way possible, not wanting to reveal his full hand to the Saiyan. So Whis was keeping things from him, was he? Was it out of not willing to fully trust the Lightning Lord or was it something else? Things to ponder about later. Then came a rather direct question. Rightfully Whis had earned the chance to ask Chishan questions and he had held no quarrel with that. Still, the manner and topic of his line of queries was actually quite surprising. Chishan listened quietly, keeping a firm and steady gaze on the deity as he did so. It wasn't until the end that the smallest of chuckles came from his mouth. "You know whenever I find someone that prefaces with 'I don't mean this to sound so and so', it always seems the statement that follows is exactly on that line. But if I'm being honest I don't sense that same hostility from you," He gave the deity a rather amused grin before it settled down some with the rest of his words. "Agatha has never been a burden. We've been through a lot together, including combat. Hell, even including life or death situations. We both accept the reality of what we're getting into when it comes to our goals and our emotions." He scratched the back of his head. "It's not easy, of course. One doesn't just come to grips with the reality that the person they love could become a weapon against them. But Agatha and I know where we stand; helping others and protecting those that need it is always important. And we can always find a way to make our emotions align with those goals. I'd never forsake my morals for her nor would she for me," He grinned a bit wider. "We both know we'd kick each other's ass if we did. The world is never just black or white, Whis. In almost all cases, it's never one thing or another. Life is...chaotic like that." "But that's part of the beauty of it, isn't it?" WC: 522 TWC: 1k+ |

Whis listened closely and what he heard he actually kind of expected. Chishan was confident that he would do what he had to do if a situation came up to protect the greater good, but words were one thing and actions clearly another. Not everything was cut and dry and sometimes decisions had to be made in a way that could alter ones entire perspective on things. They pure blooded hybrid nodded his head, ”I am sorry if it was out of place for me to ask such a question, but my duties require me to give advice when I think something could be a weakness. I just wanted to make sure you had a good grasp on the possible situation. It seems like you do and for you and her I hope you never have to find out what happens in situations like those. It can be an experience that completely changes someone. You seem strong enough though, I am sure you will find a way to deal with whatever comes your way.” Whis bowed his head respectfully, feeling that he was nearing his destination in the mortal realm and didn’t want to be distracted from that for much longer, ”I must go now, but hopefully we will find time to chat again and maybe even meet in person. I think it could be a joyous occasion.” Whis: Still over 1k |
