Oji sat with his legs crossed atop a tiled ring right smack in the middle of a lush, green park. His hands were cupped in front of him as his eyes closed in meditation. The wind was gentle and carried the sun’s warm heat as it brushed against his white, sleeveless gui.

The Paladin recruit had just recently been told of this park. It was known as Iron Fist Park, and it earned this name for its reputation of attracting fighters from around the globe. When the park was first established, it found itself wedged between two different martial art schools. The rival schools used to have some not so friendly bouts within the park itself, treating the park as a middle ground between the two schools. During these dojo wars, each school would occasionally seek out other fighters and hire them to fight alongside them, which began to easily attract dozens of out of city fighters who were looking to make a quick buck.

Eventually the wars slowly died off when both schools were shut down by the police, yet because of all the different fighters that had been brought into the clan wars, it become a traditional meeting place for fighters to challenge themselves against new and different warriors. Though the contests were much friendlier now, and it has been treated as training and sparring ground for all martial artists of Satan City.

Needing a break from the concrete scenery of his training barracks, Oji decided to take a visit to the park. Though he was already quite disappointed in the attendance, as very few people seemed to be around, and those that were fighters had already paired off. So for now, Oji simply sat atop the tiled ring, waiting for any fellow martial artists looking for a friendly spar to show up.

He had found himself back on Earth. The fact finding mission was over at this point and it was time to get back with Lord Beerus and figure out the next plan of attack for the duo. Whis had no real plans and since Lord Beerus had found himself in a battle he knew he had some time to blow before he had to really get back with the God of Destruction. It would make for some perfect time to meet up with people on the planet once more.

One being in particular he wanted to meet in person. The Celestial that he had come into contact with time and time again in the Astral Realm was here and Whis could feel his sitting alone in a nearby town. With his mind still monitoring the destroyer he figured it would be ok to find something to side track him for the time being. The boy always wanted to test himself when they met in the safety of the Astral Realm it would be interesting to see if he was as eager when they met in the flesh.

The calm flight to the city went unhindered and as Whis looked down on an open fighting arena he saw the boy seemingly waiting for a fight. It might not have been the best idea to sit around in such a place for most, but clearly Oji was confident in himself and his skills were growing. It wasn’t a surprise really that he would so boldly sit around almost welcoming trouble.

Whis wasn’t sure if he classified as trouble, but he lowered himself down towards the tiled combat floor, stopping just a few feet off as he continued to float with ease before speaking, ”I am going to guess that this is a place where people go to test their power on this planet. Maybe rivals, but I find it interesting that you are here. Do you really think a human from either of these camps could be a true test?” Whis asked, not even offering a greeting to start and wanting to see how the youthful Celestial would respond.

Oji’s ears perked as he heard a familiar voice. Opening his eyes from his meditation and turning his head, he saw the Celestial Hybrid known as Whis hovering before him. His eyes widen in surprise, for he had never seen the Celestial being outside of the Astral Plane before. Part of him wondered if he had somehow, accidentally transported himself into the subconscious plane without realizing it. However, his shock wore off quickly as he simply smiled in delight.

“Master Whis, it’s a pleasure to meet you in person,” Oji stated. Though Whis wasn’t his master, Oji still regarded him as a teacher of sorts. He was far beyond Oji’s own power level, and he understood far more than he did. Out of all the beings that he had met in the Astral Plane, Whis was the one who had perhaps taught him the most.

He then quickly rose to his feet before his mind raced over what Whis had asked of him. The light blue skinned being had stated that it was interesting to find Oji here. Perhaps it was because Oji was far above the power levels of the other fighters that lingered around the park, and perhaps Whis would have thought that Oji would be spending his time elsewhere. It was also interesting for Oji to hear another being calling the Earthlings ‘humans’, rather than people; though it did not bother the Celestial a bit to here this type of reference.

“No, I don’t believe anyone here is able to test me, at least not in my current state. Perhaps a couple of months ago these rivals schools would have been more than a challenge for me. But after hearing of all the legendary bouts that have happened here, I couldn’t resist coming here to experience this park for myself,” Oji stated. He then raised his brow, as he gazed back up at the Celestial Hybrid, “What brings you to Earth?”

Oji had been respectful as always, almost looking though like he was surprised to see Whis in person for a change. The pure blooded hybrid almost started to giggle as he saw the boy’s reaction, but he held it in more interested in what he had to say than anything else at this point. The way people acted in the astral realm as opposed to in person was oftentimes much different. When it came to this young Celestial though, he seemed to be the same no matter the situation; that was always a good thing.

Whis looked off in the distance in the direction Lord Beerus’ battle was going on. He didn’t know if the boy had learned to sense energy yet, but even if he did he probably wouldn’t have been able to tell what was going on exactly. Most mortals struggled with sensing the energy of gods and he wasn’t sure if Oji was going to have that problem or not. Still in case he didn’t realize what he was meaning he answered him with words as well, ”Lord Beerus is in the middle of something. I am guessing he finds it important, but once he is done I believe it will be time depart this world. Where we go I am not certain. For now I simply am going to wait for him to be done so that we can go visit some other worlds.”

The attendant didn’t really know what the God of Destruction was going to want to do after this, but he himself wanted to examine a lead that he had from the planet Yaidrat. It seemed to be the place that was teaching so many the art of instantaneous movement. If that was the case he wanted to check it out and knew Lord Beerus would want to as well. Whis only was paused in words for a few seconds before he continued, ”Earth has been delightful, but we have so much work to get done and only so much time to do it. You never know when Lord Beerus may desire to take another slumber.”

Oji listened carefully to the words of the Celestial Hybrid, yet his eyes widened once more when he heard Whis state that Beerus, the god of destruction, was here on this planet as well. Whis seemed to gaze off in the distance as he spoke, which caused Oji to turn in that direction as well. Oji narrowed his eyes as he focused his sense ability, reaching out towards the distance in a means to gather what may lurk ahead.

His hair stood up slightly as he sensed two great power levels in the distance. He couldn’t get an exact read on either of the levels, but he could tell that one of the power levels was high above the other. He assumed that one was the lord of destruction himself, though he was unsure of the other. However, he suddenly felt a tremendous force behind him.

Turning back towards Whis, he discovered that he had never realized that Whis was more powerful than Beerus himself. Once again, Oji couldn’t get an exact reading on the difference between the two, and perhaps Beerus may have been holding his power back, but Oji could tell that the attendant was the more powerful between the two.

The young Celestial felt like asking what work the two had planned, but felt it wasn’t his place. Though he did take note of what Whis said about the god of destruction’s slumber.

However, he could perhaps spend endless hours asking Whis questions to things that the young Celestial knew nothing about, and perhaps had no business knowing about. There was only one way that he always seemed to get the most solid answers: and that was through combat.

“Well, seeing as this park was made for sparring, would you mind if I were to test my abilities against you once more? I believe last we spoke, you stated that you preferred your staff over that impressive sword from before, care showing me why?” with that, Oji respectfully bowed before gently retrieving his sheathed sword from the ground.

Oji unsheathed the blade and then extended its tip out towards the Celestial hybrid. His feet were kept close together as his other hand craned up by his head. His sword wielding hand was extended out in front of him as he patiently waited for Whis.

The boy always wanted to test his powers and see what Whis was capable of doing. Maybe he was just interested in learning or advancing his own skills or maybe he was a the type that desired punishment, but either way it was clear that he wanted to once again test the power of the attendant. What he might not have realized though was that in this world it could have changed to a very bad situation very quickly. Whis understood this, but truthfully he figured he would be able to contain himself enough to at least not kill the young warrior.

He opened his hand for a brief moment and suddenly his staff appeared before he gripped down on it. He shook his head slightly before speaking, ”I hope you are ready. The pain in this world will not be the same as the Astral Realm. You will truly feel…”

It was at that point Whis was interrupted by a brash young human, ”Hey you two, you come to the arena you better be ready for a fight. It is my time to prove myself,” He looked at both beings in the area and pointed at Whis, ”You with the funny hair I am going to kick your ass.”

Just like that he charged at Whis, who looked over at Oji for a brief moment, ”You can simply watch this, well that is if you can keep up.” His challenge might have seemed cocky, but it was the truth. The attendant had no issue shutting up a fool and that was what he was about to do.

As the boy got near, Whis seemed to vanish appearing behind the young human and with such speed that it looked like he simply tapped him on the shoulder with the staff the boy’s body went limp before he fell unconscious to the ground. The pure blooded hybrid then calmly flew back over to Oji, ”I think that is enough of a show for the day. Maybe next time you can experience it for yourself if you so desire.”
