It had been some time since Azrael had been sent to the next dimension rather forcibly. It wasn't a proud moment in his history and in all honesty it had probably affected him much more than he should have let it. He needed to accept his fate and realize there was nothing he could do to change it. He was dead and that was that. Of course it had sullied his mood at first and the exact moment that his closest friend had been seeking him out he had been in foul spirits. He felt badly about it, especially because lately he was less sure if friend truly encompassed all that they were. Surely he thought about her more than he should and evidently she thought about him. So what did that mean for the two of them? He was an immortal, could he even have such relations? It had been made clear he was vulnerable to many of the physical urges of being mortal but what of the mind and heart? It was all very confusing but the one thing he was sure of was that he was fond of the feline and he didn't want to drive her away so he decided to pay her a visit. He had been undergoing some options in the next dimension but be could take a break from it to see her again. So he sat and he willed himself to appear someplace nearby his friend and hopefully find her in better moods than he had been when she found him last time. |

“SESSION COMPLETED,” a female computer voice announced and immediately all holograms around her vanished and the gravity in the room started to slowly go down again until it would reach normal Earth gravity. Levana was still breathing heavily and drops of sweat ran down over her face and body, but she had a most goofy grin on her face. Now that was a training session. Damn, she loved her new ship with this new high-tech gravity chamber. The settings just seemed endless and the holographic opponents were projected with such details that it would be hard to see the difference with the real ones. As much as she enjoyed Mimi’s company, they lived different lives. Levana had briefly chared an apartment with her pink haired friend, but once again she had come to realise that she would never be like common humans. Oh she tried to be ‘normal’, but in the end she still was and would always be a cat-like Saiyan hybrid. Yeah, it was good to be on her own again. She still saw Mimi and the girls a couple of times a week, so it wasn’t like she was a loner, not really… She picked up her towel and opened her bottle of water to drink a bit, before completely shutting down the computer and leaving the room, when suddenly out of nowhere someone appeared right in front of her. The feline girl was so surprised that she almost choked in her water and started to cough. Admitted, a real warrior should always be on guard, but who expects this in his own ‘house’. The expression on her face change from shocked to just confused, when she realised who it was, “Azrael!? What are you doing here?” it might have sounded less friendly than she intended, she was just completely surprised by his sudden presence there. WC 308 |

Seeing as how in the next dimension time flowed in a much different pattern than it did in the mortal realm Azrael had no real way of knowing just what he might be stumbling into. Last time he had appeared at night on top of a building overlooking the city. Now he hoped that he wouldn't be interuppting something that might make him an unwelcome visitor. He supposed that he might have to invest in learning to scry and see the mortal realm from the heavenly, but for the moment he was playing a game of chance. Where he arrived though he had no way of knowing what time it was either way. The room was windowless, or at least at first glance. His attention was more drawn to the woman about to walk into him with the goofy smile on her face. It was immediately evident that she had just been through a rather intense training session, It was too bad really. Maybe in the future he would have to test her abilities in person, he could sense she had been taking great strides in her training. For now though he had to reach his hands out and grab her shoulders to stop their collision. Levana seemed a bit surprised to suddenly have company. By her tone she wasn't too happy about it either. "Oh, Levana. Sorry. I didn't mean to interuppt. I was just thinking about you and when you're in another realm your mind tends to control where you are going." He could feel a bit of testing and so he wanted to lighten the mood. His eyes wandered to the towel and he cracked a charming smile. "Have a good training session? About to hit the showers?" he was trying to be more like his old self..old self? That was a strange thought. But that same ache in the back of his head brought it on. He only hoped it would help ease the mood. |

She quickly realised how unfriendly she must have sounded and offered him a smile, while she wiped the spilled water from her lips, “It’s okay, I just… didn’t expect you… on my ship all of a sudden, you scared the hell out of me.” She then also realised how close she was still standing to him, after almost bumping into him. Her eyes quickly shot to the side, where his hand was resting on her bare shoulder. She cleared her throat again, while taking a step backwards, so they wouldn’t be in each other personal space anymore. Ughh, she didn’t really like that he saw her like that; all sweaty, with red cheeks and her hair in a sloppy ponytail. But why actually? It was not like they were dating or whatever and she was not the person to worry about her appearance all that much. The feline girl wouldn’t have cared if any of her other friends saw her after an intense training, so why did it bother her now? Though if he would have appeared about five minutes later, she would have been in the shower… and that would have been much worse even. “Is everything okay? Did something happen?” she asked, while her face turned more serious for a moment. She had honestly not expected for him to come visit her, not even in a more normal way, so she almost automatically assumed the worst. “Yeah, I had a pretty good training, I think I’m catching up on you,” she laughed, slightly teasing, “Eum, yes... that was the plan,” she answered, as he asked about her hitting the shower. It was pretty common that people took a shower after a physical shower, so she wasn’t sure why he mentioned it or maybe he was just making conversation. WC 298/ |

After her initial reaction it seemed that Levana did calm down a little. That was good. Things were already strained enough between the two of than He didn't need to go causing more issues for them to topple. He couldn't kid himself, she was pretty much the only thing that he could even call a relationship. Sure he had some acquaintances but how often did he see them or hear from them? She was the only person he ever really could count on. He smiled slightly seeing she wasn't upset and it seemed his attempts to l9gotten the mood weren't completely lost on her. His smile grew a bit more when she finally responded and said that she thought she was catching up to him. It certainly was possible, his own training had stalled a bit lately but he hoped to fix that issue once he was back in the world of the living. For the moment though he would handle one situation at a time. She asked if everything was ok. Before that and rather than ignore it he wanted to address it while also not causing panic. "You could say that, in a way. But its nothing that can keep me down long." Changing subjects he offered another charming smile. "Well o would hate to keep anyone from cleaning up after a good session, I know I enjoy the same thing on a pretty common basis. Feel free to shower, I'm even willing to offer my assistance if it's needed." he finished with a wink. |

Levana drank the least bit of water form the little bottle while listening to the Celestial. At least this time she managed not to choke in it, when he offered her assistance. Her eyes narrowed a bit in a suspicious look, before she started to laugh and softly shook her head, cause what else could she do really. Did he really just offer to help her shower? Well, he definitely seemed more relaxed than the last time they met in the astral realm, he was even flirting with her again and not in a very subtle way. No, he just said he wanted to shower with her. Why did he act so totally different again than last time, but seemed to behave more like that time on the beach? She had no idea what was going on with him, it was all just pretty confusing, sometimes he seemed like two totally different people. “Oh really?” she smiled, feeling slightly awkward. At least he wouldn’t notice her blushing, since her cheeks were still red from the training anyway, “I’m sure I can handle that myself though.” If he had made the suggestion the previous time, she would very likely have accepted, but now… By the way he acted before, she was convinced that he regretted what happened, so… Why? “I thought we left that behind us, it would only be awkward again afterwards,” she added honestly. Her lips were still smiling, but her eyes looked sad and she knew it, so she turned away from him. Turning him down cut deeper than she expected, but it seemed to be the best for both of them if they wanted to stay friends in the long run. “I want to take a shower though,” she added and started to walk to the door, while she did her best to sound normal, “You can wait in the living area if you want, I wont take long.” WC 317/ 923 |

Azrael had given up on trying to figure out what was going on in his brain recently. At least, he had given up on pondering on it for long periods of time. Whatever it was that was causing his broad shifts in mood and personality he obviously could not solve on his own, that was something he planned to pursue with the higher ups in the next dimension when he got back. For now though he just had to accept that he was bipolar... He honestly just let the words flow without really knowing what he was saying. He meant it though and he wasn't joking at all. Yet he saw the way she reacted Ang it took a little off the wind out of his sails. At first she blew it off gently but then she added about how things got between them and it was all rather humbling. He couldn't blame her he supposed. So he tried his best to offer a smile. "Alright then, if you're sure. Never know when some extra hands can help get in those hard to reach places." Continuing on away from him she said she planned to shower before they continued to talk and he could wait. So with a sigh he nodded. "I'll be right here then. Let me know if you change your mind," he said with a laugh. |

She saw the subtle changes in his expression after her words, of course she saw it. Way to go, Lev.[/color] Instead of easing things, she seemed to make it worse again. Maybe she should not have said anything and just smiled at his flirting. Would it be better to simply ignore it or was it better to explain him way she didn’t want to get in this with him? She wasn’t sure what would offend or hurt him less. She stopped at the door between the gravity chamber and the hallway and looked at the Celestial for a long moment. With all this silliness, she actually still didn’t know why he came there. So, he came to see her and basically she tried to run away from him, instead of just having a normal conversation. “I’m sorry… I can shower later… I’ll keep your offer in mind though” she said finally, while she tried to sound less negative again and just joke a bit as well, “It’s nice that you come to visit and you are always welcome, even if it didn't sound like that before...” She continued through the hallway, towards the living area and gestured him to follow her, “So, what brings you here? You want to drink something?” WC 1000+ |

He should have covered his emotions better. What was it about this woman that affected him so. Usually he was great at keep g himself in check. Stoic was his brand and yet here he was betraying his emotions through body language. Something about her seemed to drop his guard and still there were times when he was increasingly awkward. But at the moment his show of emotion seemed to affect his friend as well. "Oh, don't put it off on my behalf," he began but it seemed her mind was made up. She mentioned how he was a welcome guest and started toward the living room. "Honestly, I was thinking about you. I wanted to make sure things didn't get too strange between us before it was too late. I would hate for that to happen. I suppose a drink couldn't hurt." He followed behind and hoped this meeting would get better with time. 1000+ |

She felt relieved inside and she offered him a genuine smile. She was glad that they seemed to be talking in a normal way again to each other. This even might be the most honest conversation they ever had. Maybe this would work out for them after all. One small step at a time though. “Thank you, I don’t want things to be weird between us anymore either,” she said softly and put her hand on his lower arm for a moment to give him a gentle squeeze, “I mean, we used to do missions together and train together, I hope we can go back to that at some point..,” she added and a more playful spark appeared again in her eyes. She meant what she said before; that she had the feeling that her trainings had paid off and that she came closer to his power than ever before. And she would notbe a good Saiyan (even if she was only a hybrid) if she wouldn’t be curious to actually test their abilities again, right? It had been a while since they had trained together and she was sure that both of them had made a lot of progress and had learned some new techniques in the meantime. “This is it,” she said as they entered the living area, which was a combination of a modern living room, kitchen and a kind of entertainment room with a tv, bookshelves, music wall and some computers. The space was rather big, since the ship was meant for at least eight people. The feline girl walked around the cooking island and opened the fridge, “Okay, what do you want? I have… coke, water, juice,…” WC 1000+ |
