]In the dead of the night, there was a lonely cabin in the middle of nowhere that resided on a mountaintop. The owner of it was a very well renowned man, Tatsu Markil. What made him so famous was the martial artist dojo that he ran with multiple students with great potential. Thanks to his teachings, they were able to win the national tournament where only the best around Earth gathered to compete.

One man, however, was not happy with the results. He tried with all of his might to bring his own group of fighters in an attempt to defeat his longtime rival. His goal was cut short in the semifinals as his prized pupil was brought down with ease. Angry over the conclusion that he had received, Blackheart traveled to his rival’s home in hopes of getting even. Unfortunately for him, there was a witness to his crime.

The famed martial artist’s wife just so happened to be home as everything went down. From the safety of her hiding spot from a closet, she watched with fear trembling in her eyes. Crin was a powerful man, which was something just about anyone knew, but Jenna was prepared to see what she did. Somehow the man with a wicked heart managed to drive his fist right through her husband’s chest.

First a stream of blood shot from Tatsu’s back while his murderer held his heart within his hands. The criminal then squeezed it and leaped out of the window, into the night sky. Still shaking, the newly widow went to inspect her husband’s body and then with tears in eyes, she screamed as loud as she could.

Meanwhile back at the Police Station where Krillin worked, he’d just walked in and noticed that things were pretty slow. After his previous encounter with the Dojo Destroyer, he felt like there would be a change of pace around the office, but sadly there wasn’t. He then sighed as he sat down at his desk and face planted after he saw the large stack of paperwork he had to shuffle through.

“Krillin!” a large booming voice yelled, causing the Earthling to knock over everything he had in front of him.

Judging from the tone, he could only assume that it was one of his superiors and immediately ran to see what they wanted. As soon as he got to his boss’s office, he saw a woman who looked as she didn’t have a soul anymore. There wasn’t a hint of emotion on his face and instantly it gave Krillin chills.

]“What’s up-- I mean, Officer Krillin reporting for duty,” he said, saluting.

“This is Jenna Markil,” the large man who called for him started off, “Her husband was recently killed and I’ve requested you personally, since you were once a martial artist. You see, that was her husband’s profession.”

Jenna wasn’t exactly a name that the tiny Earthling knew of, but Markil was a different story. No matter how hard he tried, a face wouldn’t come to him, but the memory of his fame did. He remembered that he’d even fought against one of Tatsu’s students once, though their name didn’t come to him either. Regardless, since he wanted something more exciting than paperwork, he decided to take the case.

“You can count on me,” Krillin said with a thumbs up and a smile plastered on his face, “Just let me know what I can do.”

That was when the widow pulled him closer to her so that she could whisper something. Since he figured it was a lead to the case, he didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t until she opened her mouth that a chill went down his spine.

“I want blood,” she spoke so softly so that only the two of them could hear her, “Kill that man for what he’s done. That’s all that I ask.”

The Monk of Justice thought that was a weird request, but finally understood why she looked as if she’d given up on life. It wasn’t because she had lost someone; it was because she was out for revenge. So that his commanding officer wouldn’t be the wiser, he decided to just nod in agreement. He knew that after he caught the criminal, he could come up with a plan to ease her tension.

Just as he was about to leave the station to go hunt down the man, he happened to notice the woman also leaving. Krillin then watched as she punched a parking meter and sent it flying. His worries about her started to grow even more, but he shook his head and remembered that he had a job to do. After he pulled out his trusty notebook he took a good look at the murderer’s name. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but it sounded familiar.

Left with no other choice, he walked around town asking people where he might find the person he was looking for. Oddly enough, he actually got results. Apparently Crin Blackheart was more famous than he realized. That also wasn’t the only thing that he heard, the martial artist was also a rival of the man he killed in cold blood. The tiny Earthling had a motive for why; all he needed was the suspect.

Thankfully the citizens were willing to help aid him in his search and told him where Crin’s dojo was located. Now that he knew where to go, the Monk of Justice hopped on his motor bike with his sirens flashing. As he traveled, people in the streets gossiped to one another, curious to what the problem was. The officer blaring passed them didn’t pay them any attention; he was trying to do his job. Once he arrived he noticed that the building looked vacant.

Because the door was unlocked, he decided to let himself in and felt an eerie presence in the air. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but he definitely felt as if he was being watched. Soon before he knew it, five men appeared from the darkness while a large man who looked to be in his forties stood behind them. Their appearance slightly surprised Krillin, but maintained his composure. The last thing he needed was for them to think he was weak.

“We know why you’re here officer,” one of the students who looked to be the same height as the tiny Earthling, “If you want to take our master you’ll have to defeat us first.”

“Yeah that old fart Tatsu had it coming,” another, one who was taller than the first, added.

The Monk of Justice simply sighed as the two launched themselves towards him with their fists seeking blood. Blackheart was someone he had worries about defeating, but a bunch of youngsters, he didn’t. He was able to sidestep out of their way, causing them to collide with one another, while he sent them both flying with punches of his own. The students were utterly speechless as they watched the cop singlehandedly defeat a couple of them.

Instead of letting out a witty comment like he usually would, Krillin waved at them, signaling for the rest to come at him. The remaining pupils of Crin clenched their teeth in anger as they joined the fray at alarming speeds. He may have been a little rusty, but the tiny Earthling was once a martial artist. It would take more than quick movements to take him out.

One by one the students bounced around like a game of pinball while their opponent, the Monk of Justice, blocked away what attacks he could. Occasionally he was grazed, but their strength wasn’t enough to damage him too badly. After he had enough of them he punched and kicked until Crin’s pupils had fallen. Krillin then gave a serious stare at their master who just stood there with a sinister grin on his face.

“Absolutely worthless,” he said, “I guess that’s why we lost. No matter, I can always find more rats on the streets.”

He lost it; he couldn’t stomach the fiend any longer. While he didn’t want to, the Monk of Justice exploded from his spot and launched his fist towards the famed martial artist. It was quickly deflected away before it could land, but he wasn’t finished. He brought his arm up to throw a monstrous uppercut from below. It actually managed to strike Blackheart’s chin, causing him to stumble backwards.

Rather than give his opponent a compliment or insult, he simply rubbed his face with his hand and rushed towards Krillin. They were then locked in a quick barrage of punches, sending off waves that caused the dojo itself to shake and rattle. He wasn’t winning, but he felt good, he felt good to fight like he did in the old days with his friends like Yamcha. As he was reminiscing something happened in the palm of his hands, a light source shined brightly.

“Eat this punk,” the tiny Earthling said and then three energy blasts exploded from his hand, striking the villain down.

After a few moments he was back at the Police Station, littered with bruises. The martial artist, along with his students was being brought in to enjoy their new life of behind bars. Out of the corner of his eye, Krillin managed to spot Jenna, still with vengeance in her eyes. She calmly walked over towards the officer who had a look of disappointment on his face.

“May I have a word with them,” she said with a sinister grin on her face, “It’ll be our little secret.”

Krillin couldn’t believe what he heard, he figured in the time he took to round up the fiends her mind would change. That was when an idea finally hit him, one that could be a better outlet for her rage. It was one that her husband would probably love more than more murder.

“You could do that,” he said, scratching his cheek, “Or you could go back to your husband’s dojo and take over for him. Train students and take back the title. I’m sure he’d agree with me.”

Mrs. Markil didn’t like the proposal the tiny Earthling gave her, but her mind changed. With a weak smile she handed over the knife she had up her sleeves that was originally going to be used on Blackheart and his students. The Monk of Justice looked relieved; he didn’t want to arrest someone again that soon. He waved goodbye as Jenna started to walk away. Who knows if she’d be successful and maybe even Krillin could face her in the future.

“KRILLIN!” he heard someone back in the station call out for his name, “I NEED YOU IN MY OFFICE RIGHT AWAY.”

With a sigh the tiny Earthling walked back inside. He knew that it was way too soon for him to relax. While there were evil doers on the streets, his job was never done. He did, however, hope that one day things would.
