KING OF THE RING
Monitors
Thus far, he couldn't really call his visit to Earth 'boring' precisely--if anything, the last few days on this odd, backwater world had been rather interesting to say the least. So far, he had delivered the prisoners the Planet Trade Organization had gathered into the custody of the Saiyan Empire, as ordered, though that was quickly interrupted by some stupid cult that had been using the Dragon Balls for... whatever reason they had proclaimed to be using them for. Even now, the Dinosoid had a difficult time remembering exactly what they were using the odd balls for, but at the end of the day, he really didn't care--he had stomped them but good all the same, along with that Warlord Tarble runt, who seemed even more eager to truly test their abilities against one another after the scuffle with the cultists. Those dragon-worshiping weaklings had been something of a disappointing challenge for the both of them, even after they had used the Dragon Balls to grant themselves power.

He still was irritated with that notion--using some item or power to gain strength quickly rather than earning it the right and proper way. After all, how would someone even know how to use their newfound strength if they never bothered to gain correctly? It was a disgusting thing in the Koopa King's opinion, hence why he never had the desire to use them himself, especially now that he had a training center of his own to utilize for his own training. After the whole bout with the Saiyan midget, the King of the Ring had taken a day or two to really get down to the nitty-gritty in terms of training himself, especially since the ship was still undergoing maintenance before it could take off again, which left him plenty of time to do whatever he pleased.

Typically, whatever he pleased usually involved training or fighting, and since he was still feeling sore and fatigued from the latter, he was doing the former. Well, he was, anyway, until he and his men had been told about a bath house that was near their landing location, giving the Dinosoid more than enough reason to take a day to let his muscles recuperate and recover, especially if these Earthlings knew a thing or two about a proper bath. And so here the King was, sitting down in the scalding waters of a bath he had reserved for himself, apparently designed to accommodate up to fifteen humans at once, so it was comfortably large for someone of his size and stature. He didn't particularly feel like mincing words with any of the locals, but he did have an assistance with him to read out messages to the Boss and send the lizardman's replies up the chain again.

If Bassolarr was bashful about one of his soldiers seeing him in his skivvies, he didn't show it, and it was highly possible he didn't care either--he was practically the epitome of physical conditioning and peak strength, especially on his own planet, so it was hardly something he felt shy about anyway. The massive lizard dipped down further into the lava-like waters until it came up to his chin and snout, sighing in contentment as his aide continued to look over messages for anything relevant for the King's attention.

So of course, as soon as Bassolarr got into the groove of his bath, he would be interrupted. One of his short minions, Shellak, tapped a button on his datapad, waving away steam from the device in order to see it properly before squinting down and looking towards his leader. "Uh, sir? We have an incoming message from Command. Looks like we're getting another priority message from up top--this time it actually looks important," he said before looking back down at it to digest the contents of the message while Bassolarr grumbled under his breath, sitting back up properly before getting to his feet. He shook the water off of his bare scales for a moment before reaching for a towel to try himself off--he had already been in the bath for a good hour now, so it was probably time to get back to work anyway.

"Yeah? What's it this time--they want us to beat some rebels down but good again, or are we going to do another bollocks guard detail?" The Koopa King inquired with no shortage of sarcasm, not looking forward to what this latest assignment could mean. Lately, his talents had been wasted on these 'high priority' missions that involved a lot of 'no fighting', which was completely insane to him, being one of the strongest warriors within the Planet Trade Organization. You would think that an organization that prided itself on efficiency would have used his talents to a more applicable degree.

The shelled alien shook his head, reading another couple of lines as his boss drew closer, neither of them concerned with the lack of dress. Shellak looked up towards his boss again once he was certain of the contents, his face serious. "Not this time, boss--it looks like there's someone causing trouble on Mortoseth, and Command wants us to put the guy down. Apparently, he's some kind of Vagril hero or something weird like that. The mushrooms there are known for extending life and granting strength to whoever eats them, so its kind of an important resource to the PTO, boss. This guy must have eaten quite a bit--according to the report, there's been a shortage on the last few harvests from the planet--though I guess the locals were blaming that on damages from the Galactic War. I guess we know what really happened to them."

"He anything but strong?" The dinosoid asked as he wrapped the towel around his waist, a look of honest interest on his features. It was looking like he might get a real challenge out of this assignment yet--something he was actually looking forward to for once. He was getting tired of fighting against these weakling opponents. The nod from his subordinate was all he needed to know before he chuckled under his breath. "Ha! That's what I like to hear. As soon as the ship's ready, we're shovin' off!"
