A jail in down town north city a man stood in line to have his finger prints and mugshot taken. He was a man of average stature with a somewhat muscular build however compared to some of the much more burly men around him his build was not too imposing and was even underwhelming in comparison. He wore long Revan colored hair that reached just below his shoulders and had a beard a beard around his face. He was outfitted in the typical prison jumpsuit with his number being 1478. He was a former reverend who used his charisma to make a group and become the leader of a group of vigilantes who hunted down and execute people who they caught in their crimes.

They treated offenders severely from beating the everyday thief until they spat blood or hunting down the worse criminals and beating them to death with the weapons they used to commit their crimes. Their brand of justice did not stop at street thugs however. They also opposed officers and politicians who they felt obstructed their justice whether it was by taking bribes or simply being too merciful. However was caught in the end and that is what brought him here to this very prison. An officer had a document with his name reading Ender the prisoners name at the top. The woman at the desk spoke. “Reverend Ender Three masters, Theology, Ethics, and Philosophy. Shame if only you put all that knowledge and charisma to better use you could be anywhere but here.” Ender sighed. “That sounds all too familiar.”

After being escorted to his cell the two officers who escorted him removed his restraints and pushed him into his cell. They did not push too hard but it was able to make him tumble and fall to the ground. He lied on the cold floor not even bothering to go to the bed. He stayed there with tears in his eyes over his powerlessness over his fate. He fell asleep wondering what went wrong and why was he placed here being punished when he only met to bring justice.

He would either face a life sentence or capital punishment. Eventually he was called upon and told that he was to be executed in 90 days. He was rather indifferent to learning this fate for he stopped caring when he felt that god had left him. The next few months he had been spending time in the prison leaving his cell to perform the slave labor and not participating in activities such as working out or playing games as most other prisoners did in their free time. He instead would spend his time reading the bible. Of all parts he read the new testament up until Jesus’ crucifixion and revival ever night he would just lay on the floor of his cell. 89 days passed rather quickly for him and he lied down on the very last night before his execution. An officer came to ask what would he like his last meal to be. “A single shot of pure water,” He replied. He was devoid of any preference because knowing his fate all too well made him indifferent to any pleasure. The officer briefly looked befuddled but simply shrugged and wrote it down and left.

Ender continued to lie down on the floor. He lied down until he fell asleep. He opened his eyes. Everything was dark with the exception of a single light. He walked towards it and when it was within the reach of his arms he stuck his arm out to touch it. Upon contact he felt a shockwave that sent his dream body flying back and abruptly woke him up making his scramble to get to his knees. He felt a white light emit from him. He could feel a tingle through out his body. It put him in a state of mania which he was much to astonished to express, his heart ponded and he looked at his palms as his hair waved as the light shined around him. The bright light caused other prisoners to wake up and they rushed to their cells to see where the light had been coming from. A guard that was on duty patrolling the floor saw this strange light and ran over to see where its source was as fast as he could. Ender could hear his foot steps and he gasped as he looked over and tried to will himself to make this light go away for the time and it worked for it dimmed and it disappeared before the guard was close enough to see that the self appointed apostle was the source.

All the prisoners on the floor kept their looks of befuddlement and the guard shared the same feeling except that his expression turned to that of anger. He pulled out his night stick and hit one of the prisoners bars in the same motion making the man behind flinch and they all backed away from their bars to not further test the guard. “No one try anything funny here,” The guard placed his night stick back on his belt. “Otherwise you’ll have more than your sentences to worry about.” He walked off. “Back to sleep all of you!” Ender simply stayed on his knees looking at his palms. He no longer felt devoid of hope. His faith in the lord was rekindled and he resolved to carry out what he took as the lord’s will. The next morning the day of his execution finally came. A group of officers came for him and they opened his cell and escorted him to where he would be put in the electric chair.

They strapped him down and put the wet towel on his head and then put the device down. They flipped the switched and sparks flew as the room was flooded with light. He shook for a long time but for some reason he did not die. They tried again and again but he survived every time unscathed. He clenched his fist. He was absolutely sure that he was not to die this day. He was bestowed this great power so he had to use it. He moved his fingers around causing sparks to come out. He continued to struggle in the seat trying to will this power to show itself so that he could continue his mission. He had managed to free one of his arms from the restraints. An officer ran in an attempt to restrain him from freeing the rest of his body but he pushed the officer and a big spark sent the officer flying with smoke coming from his body as he hit the ground his lifeless body continued to shake.

Many people ran while so officers stayed and pulled out their guns commanding that he stopped. Electricity continued to shoot form his body and when they officers opened fire their bullets simply bounced off a shield of his electric aura. The man freed his other arm and finally broke free from the chair. The other officers just stood and trembled before continuing to fire and empty their clips to no avail. Ender looked around to the crowd still trying to flee and to the officers and back to himself. The officers stepped back and tried to run from the monster but he exerted his new powers and let off a wave of energy turning them to dust as he emitted his power it was not long until all were faced by his divine punishment. He slowly levitated up and shot a blast to make an opening to exit the building and flew away for his work had been finished in this place.

"What a beautiful day" he hapily whispered to himself, his hands gripping a pair of binoculars tighter in excitement. "These girls are so amazing!" he shouted shook with exaggerated excitement. Upon the two magnified lenses he gazed upon a group of woman who where lying next to the pool, all on their backs with rather small and tight fitting swim wear. There were people on float trips drowning in rivers but he was here. There were cops being shot while doing routine traffic stops, he was still here. Down the street a man drove a van with the words 'Free Candy' along the side, Gray was still here. A human capable of doing so much more than any other average human, and he used those powers to be a voyeur.

"Again, of all the humans in existince and the babies being born...I chose...this." Ozi complained loudly, his arms crossed and looking to the ground in disgust. The demon had been trapped in the boys body since his physical form was eliminated by a demon hunter some twenty four years ago. In a desperate chance to survive he tried to possess the nearest vessel, which in a normal circumstance he could have overcame the subconscious and took over the physical vessel. However, Gray was different and he had not yet figured out what made him so special.

"That one is taking her top off!" gasping with excitement as he leaned forward while trying to maintain his balance on the tree branch. His weight shifting later echoing the crack in bark as it began to separate from the tree, his attention to focused on the women before him.

Meanwhile the sounds of chains rotating on gears fell on oblivious ears as he approached the young voyeur peering through the cover of a tree. The brake pads began to slowly but firmly press against the rim of the bike tire as the cop came to a slow halt, his leg kicked out to brace himself to stop the bike from falling over. He could ear what sounded like panting in the distance but was not sure which direction that it was coming from. In fact, the young man would have been able to stay concealed in the tree if it was not for the echoing crack of the bark around the tree branch. The officer's head tilted up to searched the branches, it didn't take him long to find the orange haired boy. He didn't have to start off with the obvious questioning he normally did, he could see from his point of view that Gray was watching the young woman by the pool. For a moment the cop couldn't help himself but stare for a few seconds as well. He shook off the immature imagination that Gray had planted in his head and look back to him. "Hey! Get down from there!" he shouted in anger, his left leg kicking out the kick stand so he could park his Huffy.

The words fell on deaf ears as all of Gray's attention was focused on the girls, their round hourglass figure's and tight bikini bottoms. He knew what he was doing was wrong but he found the life of a voyeur all to exciting, and he learned well from master Roshi. Again the cracking of the bark fell on deaf ears, but this time the cracking was more of the actual branch itself snapping from his weight. Gray and the branch fell rapidly from the tree toward the unsuspecting officer. The branch crashing hard on the top of his head and dropping him to the ground unconscious. Gray reached the ground soon after, but his agile like reflexes allowed for him to react and respond to it quickly. He tucked his knees to his chest so that he could muster up a judo like fall but was disrupted once he noticed he was going to land directly on the officer. "Oh crap..." he said, his body slamming into the back of the officer and rolling off to the side. The sounds of grunt's filled with pain and agony that carried through the air like a car alarm, notifying several other officers nearby that one of their own was down.

Gray rolled over and noticed the pain in the poor guy's eyes but knew he couldn't stick around the area long. He rose to his feet quickly and noticed that three or four bike officers were already closing in on his location. "Jesus, is grunts and moans like a mating call to these people?" he asked himself as he cuffed his hands together and put them over his mouth, echoing out some other random moans to try and mask the situation.

"There is a molester over there!" one of the cops shouted.

"That's a molester moan!" another cop shouted from the opposite direction.

"Oh for the love of god!" Gray shouted as his body burst into energy and he prepared to take off but halted before he could as the tone of the officers walkie talkie sounded alarming.

"All officers please report to central prison command! All officers report! There is an escaped convict on the lose, he just blew a hole through the execution room and flew away! We need everyone on location immediately!

Feeling the guilt of injuring this officer and not allowing for him to be able to respond put him in a weird position. He quickly began to take off his black gi and then looked down to the officer who was starting to wake up, his eyes locked onto Gray's ass he held the gi in front of his chest and awkwardly stared back ."Its...its not what it looks..." he started and then reached over and punched him in the face to render him unconscious.

"And you say that I'm the bad guy!? You just punched a blue!" Ozi started before bursting into loud laughter. "This is amazing, the good boy is going to be a wanted man! Haha!" he went on with hysterical laughter at Gray's situation.

"Look..." he started as he continued to switch outfits with the cop. "We put him in this situation, its only right for us to help him finish it by responding to this emergency." he paused for a moment as he looked toward the city's prison area. "Besides from the sound of it...it's going to be out of these guy's league. Gray finished as his body burst into energy and he took off in the air toward the action.

A whack reverberated through Zyren's skull, hard enough to hurt and scramble his brains a bit, but not hard enough to actually do any damage. He growled, rubbing his head, and turned to glare at the owner of the hit; not missing the silver hair and tail, nor the left blue and right amber eye.

"No...no poit!"

Soul glared back, uncaring that his counterpart was mad, and then rapped him again--albeit softer this time and corrected; "It's point, not poit, so don't forget the n sound. Pah~oiiin~tah. Point. We've already had this discussion, and you will at least know how to be a "two-leg," even if you hate it or us humanoids. Language, queues, meaning and hidden meanings...it'll all come in time!"

Zy turned, feeling out of place amidst all the confused stares in the crowd that he was walking through, and definitely uncomfortable in the two-leg's strange fur they all wore. He didn't like clothing, or crowds, and most definitely didn't like the fact that Soul was watching his every action with an eye much like one of the flying nyghtbeasts that roamed the Dark side of Mortoseth.

Of course, when one of them was in control, only they could see their counterpart that made up part of their consciousness. Since they were two souls, one body, it was different than split personalities, and they could "injure" the other via the mind. Granted, they could "talk" back and forth via thought if they wanted, but Soul was neglecting that route and forcing Zy to become civilized...

Hence the clothing and the trial by fire.

A subtle rumble was caught by both of their ears, but to the surrounding humans, they didn't sense anything. Zy's body had been trained since his young childhood living in basically complete darkness all of his life, so his other senses were fine tuned to catch the smallest of things. The small shake of the ground below, the grating of concrete pulsating against each other...

Both Hybrid's felt the pressure then, strong, very strong emanate from their right, and with Zy in control and not Soul, Zy only saved himself by dodging to the left as an explosion rang out. Sound crashed against the surrounding buildings and echoed, hurting his ears, and his vision was quickly reduced to nothing for a few moments as dust, debris, and various other particles took to the air.

Angrily, the Hybrid swung out with a wave of his hand, and with the limb backed by his full strength, caused enough air pressure to blow away the smokescreen into nothingness. Broken and bloody bodies lay haphazardly strewn across the majority of the street, victims of either the explosion, or the propelled debris.

And the hole, stretching over a dozen feet in diameter in the wall that Zy had been standing to moments ago, now floated a two-leg that emanated yellow arcs of energy. It looked around the street once, eyes lighting up on the only "human" that still stood, and although briefly surprised, simply shrugged and waved his hand before taking off into the air.

The wave of the hand caused an arc of electricity to flash across the distance between the two humanoids, and even with Zyren primed to fight, still couldn't completely dodge something moving that fast. While aimed at his chest, his evasive maneuver changed the trajectory to more so hit his upper right shoulder and caused him to spin around and collide into the building behind him.

Ender, satisfied that he had dealt with a potential problem or witness continued to fly upward with the intent to get away with his new found powers, turned his head upward only to feel a yank as something caught a hold of his left foot and tugged.

The man was barely able to see who the person responsible for halting his getaway for a brief moment before the very same human that he had just struck down spun and viciously tossed him back at the building that Zyren had just crawled out of.

The ensuing explosion rang out with greater force than the first two, and the Hybrid had only gone to take a step forward before two more pressures appeared. With the strength of the pressures, both were strong, and they both were heading toward him pretty fast.

Enemies? Foes?

The Rubble shifted slightly when the first arrived, but it was missed by Zy when he turned to see who it was, and if they were going to be a threat to him.

The self appointed apostle continued his mission with his new gift he could now deal with the mal aligned promptly. He was now flying faster than any means of recording footage could see him and making sure to stay above the clouds in order to ensure avoiding detection. He was now alone with his thoughts thinking about his next course of action. He was sure that he would need to keep on eliminating criminals in order to ensure that he instilled fear to keep the people in line so that they didn’t act on their impulses of their natural corruption. He also had to be wry of other powerful individuals who would do well to resist punishment or the few truly good but also misguided beings who used their power but restrained themselves from having too heavy of thus only placed a temporary bandage of the wound that was the scum of the universe.

So many obstacles he had to plan as well as act. He jetted down towards an abandoned warehouse and entered through one of its windows. This location use to serve as one of the safe houses where his group could safely reside between their missions. The place had been mostly cleaned out after it was raided by the police but Ender kept a secret stash of goods for rainy days. He walked through the room and tapped and stopped to tap his left foot. He rinsed repeated this process until he found the section that made the correct sound of a hollowed out space. He lowered down and ripped away pieces of the floor board to gain access to the goods inside.

He pulled the black backpack out and opened a box that it was resting on top of it. It was full of different outfits. He pulled out a tee shirt and jeans to replace he prison jacket so that he would not look so obvious. After that was done he went to another r part of the warehouse with a mirror and looked into it while holding a of battery clippers he acquired from another room with room with tools hidden inside. He looked in the mirror and cut his hair until he was nearly bald and moved on to his beard until he was cleanly shaven.

He placed a baseball cap on his head and added a pair of sunglasses to go with them went on to feel his bag with more equipment mainly feeling it up with changes of cloths and money. The warehouse was also rich in hidden weapons including guns and knives but he felt no need to bring them along since he was a living weapon and felt as though he had no use for them. He floated up and made his way towards the window and suddenly came down on his belly with in a foot from where he originally left the ground. He got up and looked at his hands wondering what could have been wrong. He sat on his knees and thought. Did he forget to do something no he did indeed will himself to do it. What could be wrong he continued to think from when he first felt the shockwave then to when he first used his powers and everything else leading to where he was right now, wondering why his powers were suddenly failing him.

He continued holding the clippers still trying to will himself to activate his power again. He strained himself concentrating and groined up a spark came from the clippers. He snapped his head right to the hand that held them. That was a sigh that he had not completely lost them. He fixated on the device and looked closer. He tried to activate his power again. He focused again this time acting as if he was drawing the clippers as a source of power and he felt a greater spark. It was then when he realized why his power suddenly failed. He was simply out of juice. He found the explanation perfectly reasonable like anything else when too much energy was expended it either need to rest and take time to recharge. He did use a lot of energy purging the guilty men and woman and used a great portion of his energy attempting to take out the quadrupedal youth.

He removed the double A batteries from the clippers and began draining the power from them. Although he was annoyed because this development delayed he happy that he understood the limits of his gift. He went to another section of the warehouse and dug for more batteries since the warehouse could not fuel him being shut down long ago. He drained all the batteries and manifested his electric aura around him he was not nearly as powerful as before. He looked at him. “Better lay low for now. I can’t draw too much attention to myself as I am.” He left the warehouse and walked searching for a place to recharge.

While Ender was attempting to cover himself from his recent splash North City was in the midst of mobilizing forces in order to seek out the fugitive and investigate what was going on. The rampage of the self titled savior made was being covered in all the local news reports. People were warned to not engage Ender and the warning even went as far as to warn people to stay inside. Although many people were attempting to leave the city and locking down their homes. A young half saiyan child was seated next to his mother who happened to flip to the news report about the events transpiring in North City. The child looked to his mother. “Mom can I go,” his mother initially replied with a sigh. “Ok but you have to make sure you’re ready before you confront that man.” The child hugged his mother. “Don’t worry mom. I’ll have a plan. I’m coming up with one right now. Where’s the electrical tape? “ “The first drawer in the kitchen.” “Ok. Mom can I borrow the rubber gloves.” “Just make sure you bring them back.” “I will.”

Haki went on and began making preparations to execute his plan and pursue the Ender. He went to his room and claimed his power pole which he extended until it was two and half feet beyond his stature make it more than 6 feet long and began wrapping the tape around it until it was completely covered. He took a moment to examine it to make sure he didn’t miss a spot because that would prove very costly. The pole was completely covered. The child then left his house saying goodbye to his mother who told him that if he didn’t find him by nightfall come home. He simply turned to nod and kept walking. He stopped at a store to buy a few something. He bought a thin 21 meters of a thin cord. Once he was out of his small town and in North City he went on to a capsule corp building and paid to use a 3d printer. After about 45 minutes he completed his device.

It was a round device about the same size of a tape measure it also was fitted with a magnetic rectangle shaped magnetic tip equal to the width of the average man’s index and middle finger. He opened the device and spun the string around inside. He then set it to his belt and pressed a button on the at the top of it. He moved to the nearest thing metal which happened to be the table next to the computer and placed the attachment on it. It stuck to it like any magnet would. The child tugged on it but not with a small fraction of his strength to ensure that the device was secured. After be satisfied with the results of his test. He turned it off and the cord spun retracted until the attachment was all the way connected to the device. He then decided that he was ready to face the man rampaging in North City.

There were not a lot of prisons in the city, especially ones that housed major felons that were able to brain wash people into committing mass murders for false beliefs. It was almost like something out a popular tv show, where a crazy person was able to convince mass amounts of people that killing in his name was justice. "Shining? Noo..." he whispered to himself, his orange hair flying wildly as he darted through the air. "Killing floor? No that's a game..." he continued on as he tried to remember the name of the show he was thinking about that shared such a similar plot. Before he could reach his conclusion though he had noticed the mass of people gathering down below, no doubt for the search party.

"The Following..." Ozi answered Gray's unfinished thought process as the two of them sped toward a dark alley down below to conceal their arrival. Its not everyday that the people of earth witness humans that can fly and shoot laser beams from their eyes.

"Thank you! Wait...you watch tv?" Gray questioned as his foot landed gently landed on the ground with his other following.

"I see everything you do...It would be boring if I didn't at least pay attention to what you were looking at." the Demonic soul finished as he shook his head in shame to the obvious.

The orange haired boy walked out of the darkness that he used to conceal his arrival, his appearance still impersonating that the police officer that he knocked out earlier. He needed to gather what ever information that he needed about the criminal before engaging. As he turned the corner his attention was immediately drawn to the crowd of armed police officers and military service members that had gathered. He approached from behind so that his short bike cop shorts wouldn't arose any suspicions.

"Nice shorts dork" a man who appeared to be a rival police unit geared to the teeth with tactical gear insulted as he chuckled with immature laughter.

"Look guys! The bike cop is here! I guess we can all go home!" another went on as the two seemed to be a Boni and Clyde like couple.

"Ohh thats so cute! A gay couple!" Gray snapped back as he turned away from them but was halted as he felt a hand grip his elbow and pull tightly. He immediately turned and masked his actions as a clumsy fall as he grabbed the hand and fell back, pulling on it and throwing the cop from his feet and into a wall.

"So we are just going to assault cops now? Is that what we do? I'm down with that." Ozi smiled as he mocked Gray's un characteristic actions.

"Shut up, I just need to find out about this guy so we can leave..." Gray whispered as he look up to the other cop who stared in disbelief, his jaw dropped and finger pointing toward his comrade who now lay on the ground unconscious. His head darting left and right to see if anyone else saw before running to his friends aid.

As he laid upon the ground he looked off to the right as a sound of a bell echoed near by, a door had recently been open and closed. It wasn't the door that caught his attention though, it was a small boy who fastened some sort of device to his hip and carried what appeared to be a stick made of electrical tape on his back. He rolled to his side and watched as the boy bounced playfully down the sidewalk. He could feel something was different about this boy but he couldn't put his finger on it, but he could tell that he was special. Gray pushed himself up to his feet and started to slowly walk down the street after the boy, his curiousty peaked of why this boy's energy felt so different.

"This idiot completely forgot why we even came here..." Ozi thought to himself, his face buried into his palm as he shook his head while pressed against it.

Three minutes after Zyren turned away to glance at the duo of approaching pressures.
=====================================================

The Hybrid's view was consumed by a tumult of colors and abrupt, jarring motions that briefly brought his vision into focus before his momentum once more claimed his body and sent it skipping through the air and off the ground again. A second passed, quickly followed by another, but was brought to a bone-shattering stop when he hit something really, really hard.

That, and probably enough of his momentum and kinetic force had dwindled away for him to finally stop.

That thought wasn't his, but Soul's.

Leaf....a--loan!

Zyren hated when Soul interrupted anything that the Hybrid was doing, and even on the losing end of the fight, he didn't need someone else telling him stuff he already knew...mostly.

Y'know, if we just switched, they'd be dead by now.

In response, Zyren gave a growl, this time thinking with absolute certainty, "No...Mine. This earned him a mental shrug from his counterpart, but other than that, Soul left him alone and contented himself to watch the ensuing exchanges between the four fighters.

Yes, the two-leg who had killed an entire street worth of his kind had back up, who were originally supposed to break him out of his death sentence but ran a few minutes too late. They knew that unless Ender turned out to be a meta-human, he would die because they were going to be too late...but when they arrived, they were ecstatic to see their friend was alive! Now, the two friends could reveal that they were meta-humans!

....Only to watch their friend be thrown like a b**ch through a building and have it crumble around him. So, when the blonde Hybrid had turned to assess the potential threats...

A sneak attack no less. Ever since, the battle had tipped into the three friends favor, and while each was weaker by themselves against Zyren; it didn't mean that all three of them combined weren't as strong or stronger, even with one having new powers nonetheless.

Zyren smote a mighty blow in the form of a oscillating hammerhead to the second friend that had joined the battle; quickly sending him screaming through the air and detonating into the building opposite the blonde half-Saiyan. It too crumbled like a house of cards atop the two-leg, eliciting a satisfying purr from Zy, but was cut short when a burst of pressure brought him face to face with an opposing attack.

Back and forth they went, knocking each other to and fro, but for every attack that Zy managed to land, he was hit by two or three at the least most of the time because the two-legs kept setting themselves up in his blindspots.

He ducked between two crisscrossing blows, barely dodging both as they passed through his hair before punching their two owners in the chest with echoing cracks. Both fell back and down, their flow of ki briefly cut from the concentration dropping, leaving the Hybrid to hit them both once more mid-jump and catapult himself to the final opponent who was concentrating with his palms facing Zyren.

Craaaackle! Ziiiziizip! Biaziap!

Yellow static built into the space between the two-leg's palms, quickly transforming from mere shocks of energy to full electrical surges that brought both the smell of ozone into the air and set the Hybrid's hair on end. His skin crawled, and instinct caused him to abandon his attack and focus his own effort--and energy--to the muscles in his legs.

He thought Soul called them what....caffes? Calves?

The two-leg roared and pushed--

--Air bent, contorted, and shattered--

--The world went white--

--everything detonated with the force and sound of a thunderclap. Bodies and debris were blown up and away, or the pieces that weren't instantly broken down into their base elements were anyway. The dust cleared, showing a hole several dozen meters in diameter in the middle of the street flanked by both friends with wide eyes and burnt injuries.

Their opponent was gone, assumed to be reduced to ash or buried so far under that neither foe could sense or see him; but it was time to go. Their skirmish with whatever--or whoever the blonde-haired and silver-tailed individual was anyway-- had taken too long and caused too much commotion. Now, along with the fact that the fight had been in a populated city and in front of the very place that one of them was supposed to die minutes ago...

Most definitely time to leave!

The three, battered and exhausted friends turned to leave, ignorant of the fact that they had been looking in the wrong place for the Hybrid. Granted, he couldn't fly, only propel himself by momentum alone...but as he knew on from his experiences on the Dark Side of Mortoseth...Animals never looked up til it was too late.

Moments ago; Prior Electric Potential Buildup!
-----------------------------------------------------

The terrifying energy built and lanced through the air between them at a speed that was too hard for him to track, then continued onward unabated to raze everything in it's path as a straight line for many meters before detonating, briefly shaking the ground and buildings for several blocks with the origin being where the four fighters fought.

A figure shot out of the debris at the start of the blast, revealing the Hybrid in one piece, but his flesh smoked and his blood leaked in various places. Right before the sphere of Ki had launched, he instinctively willed his body to unleash his built energy in his legs to move to the left, to bring forth the ability that Zyren had mimicked what the neck-gem two-leg had shown him before it was too late.

Regardless of the burst of speed via a speed teleportation, his body was still caught in the torrential torrent of air--of a vacuum caused by the speed that the energy moved-- that had been on the perimeter of the attack. The air had been whipped into a frenzy strong enough to cause his body to combust and simultaneously lacerate it, but he got off easy not knowing how to fly.

Altogether, he was in a sorry state, but he was still alive with minor injuries, and not fatal or near fatal if he hadn't reacted as fast as he did. Now, he hid in the shadows of the rooftops, waiting for the right moment to strike as the three two-legs left the area.

His body halted for a moment as he turned away from the young man, looking back toward the crowd of police officers behind him. He still had no information of the escaped convict to go on and was afraid to enter the situation blind. He turned back to the boy who had gained distance between the two and shook his head to clear his mind set. "i do not have time to follow this kid right now..." Gray thought, resisting the urge to feed into his curiosity.

"Lord know's your curiosity has never nearly gotten us both killed..." Ozi sneered as Gray remained hesitant of his actions.

"You're right, the escaped convict is priority." His leg spun around to lead him back toward the crowd of police officers who were still waiting on their brief to start the man hunt.

"Alright! Listen up!" a seasoned gray haired man who appeared to be in charge spoke up from the top of a car while using a large microphone to scale his voice. He continued on about Ender's history and how he had landed in jail, his failed execution and the climbing casualty count. This was definitely a man to be feared and should be approached with extreme caution. "There are several burned bodies over by the prison, we are not one hundred percent on who is who yet." he paused as he flipped to another set of photos. "As you can see some of the bodies have literally melted into the concrete and become unrecognizable" pausing for a moment to let others grasp the reality of the situation. Several gagging and doing their best not to vomit at the site of such photos. "At this time we--" he started but was cut off as the crowd began to shout out questions and concerns.

"What it a bomb?" several asked out loud for concerns that they could be walking into a trap. "How many individuals were involved?" more asked as they tried to gather information of the situation.

"Unfortunately no, he has apparently from eye witness statements developed" he police officer paused for a moment, his adams apple visibly moving as he swallowed. "Has apparently developed powers like those freaks that can fly and shoot energy from their hands." he paused for a moment and observed the crowds reactions that were as judgmental and hesitant as he had expected to receive. "If you feel that this is beyond your level of skill...you are free to.." he stopped in disbelief as he watched half of his force turn and walk away. Several mumbling under their breaths about their pay not equally compensating for the risks involved.

"Maybe not..." Gray thought to himself as he started to walk slowly backwards, the image of a burned body that resembled the one time Gray tried to cook for himself. "Yea.....this isn't going to work." he whispered as he turned away from the crowd, his hands gripping the bottom of his cop shirt as he pulled the bottom over his head and then slipping the arms out. He dropped it on the ground and proceeded to step on the uniform. He was sure that to observing police officers it would seem he was a cop just quitting his day job.

"So, you really are a chicken shit?" Ozi questioned with pleasure in already knowing the answer.

"Its not worth my time, getting fried and looking like a burned hot dog...nah man I am good!" his tone escalated sarcastically as he floated off the ground several feet and elevated higher into the air so that he could make his exit. "Till next time..." he whispered to himself, disappointed that he was passing up such a good opportunity. He turned to look back down at the city as several loud bang's rang through the streets. "What on earth was that?" he thought but shook his head once more. "Nope" he finished, turning away from the potential battle and retreating for his own safety.

They turned away, leaving their backs wide open in the event of a surprise attack...which is exactly what the Hybrid had planned to do while they left. His muscles tensed, but the movement caused his eyes to water from the various injuries he had. His burns fizzled, the various lacerations stung, and it felt that his entire body; Bones, muscles, skin and all, were creaking and groaning in protest to his will.

Zyren let out a low growl of irritated pain, doing his best to shove the discomfort aside to the back of his mind and refocus himself on killing these three crafty two-legs...but something made him pause. It was slight, nearly out of the reach of his consciousness mind, but made him stop nonetheless.

It was so slight that he thought he imagined it, but prior experience on the Dark side of Mortoseth taught him to pay attention to his gut; to stay attuned to his surroundings so that he would remain aware and able enough to retreat, regardless of what he was doing. The first time he had ignored the feeling, he had nearly died when the King NyghtBaest ambushed him when the Hybrid had been in the middle of doing one himself on a four-legged NyghtBaest with the intentions of finally eating after thirteen long, restless sleep cycles without food.

He had been nearly rent in two like a dry twig caught in a relentless storm.

The half-Saiyan stopped, eyes slowly roving to and fro, up and down for the source of his instinctual cower; blossoming Sense spreading out to pick up on the slightest change in pressure around him. His adrenaline pumped, the urge to flee grew stronger still, but his upbringing had the benefit of letting him be as still as a statue and simply observe.

There, in the deepest shadow on the edge of the brightest light across the street was a ghost of a silhouette; it's presence a void that most would have ignored it even if they stared at it all day long.

Was he imagining the subtle movements in whatever it was's head, or could he actually see it moving slowly? Was it searching for something, or simply taking in the view?

While Zyren couldn't see it's eyes, he did feel when they passed over him; giving him the sensation like a deer in the headlights once, twice, and then a third time before it's gaze roamed elsewhere. He repressed the urge to shudder, to breathe or do anything that would elicit the tiniest movement or any movement!

It continued it's search for several minutes after passing him, making sure to take in the entire street, then the neighboring streets--before what looked like the entire city all at once yet took an eternity at the same time! During the entire time Zy maintained his position without daring to do anything, the less animalistic--cowardistic urge wanting to flee since it thought that the thing had stopped looking for it. However, the Hybrid knew that to move now was tantamount to suicide, and ignored the feeling as best as he could while cold sweat made it's own presence known.

The thing's gaze passed over his hiding place a few more times during the exchange, once doubly so after the part of him thought it'd be a good idea to flee and in doing so, only served to bolster his determination to remain still. Whether it found what it was looking for, or whether Zy had dreamed it up, he didn't know.

Like dew in the morning sun, whatever the phantom was simply stopped being and vanished.

Zyren waited a moment more, then fled with the utmost haste!
