The distant city of Veltin was once a prosperous as it overlooked the gorgeous ocean front. Many would come to open tourist attraction businesses so that they could benefit from Veltin's location. However as time went on a dark cloud began to form over the city, much like any other. The amount of people who ventured through on automobiles, releasing methane like gas from their intestinal tracks, and leaving their trash in the streets all assisted in creating a toxic cloud of air. The air was so toxic that much of the animals would avoid passing over the city, even the ocean had began to absorb some of its toxicity. Many reports of dead fish washing up on shore created investigations by local police to look into the situation. Theories developed to try and find the cause, resources were wasted searching the ocean for oil leaks or poisonous dump sites. The searches only created more toxic waste to diminish the environment. Many wanted justice for the slow death of mother nature, but deep down in the depths of the cities underworld a cult began to create their own revenge.

"Zhu Hati Kali No chu" four men chanted as they stood around a large star within a circle. The group were nature lovers who had been picketing and protesting the growth of the city for many years, failing to make any progress.

"Ahi Namite Kool Ti Kay" several surrounding the 4 individuals chanted softly in whispers, gripping daggers tightly as their hoods draped over their faces.

The ritual was incredibly complex and required confusing and complicated concepts as well as several sacrifices. The four men who stood within the center of the room were the most important ritualists. The four had been the spearhead of the protests for many years, many times sending death threats to store owners and the mayor. They had gone as far as to coordinate murders and kidnapping of tourists to detour future tourists from visiting but only saw more. The four of them had finally decided that the only way to save mother nature, was to destroy man kind. They had recruited for their murderous campaign once a man in a red caped cowl gave them a book of ritual. Within this book contained the dark secrets and arts of the world that had been abandoned long ago. With it, they focused on one particular ritual. A ritual that required twelve sacrifices within a circle of fire, their blood would then spill from their bodies and create the image of the pentagon upon the floor as a gateway to the afterlife. From this gateway they would summon the souls of four legendary horseman to walk the earth so that they could rid it of its corruption.

Death, Famine, War, Conquest were the four legendary horseman that they needed to bring justice to the earth. However their were more complications with the ritual than they could ever imagine. They were just to eager to consider any of the complications involved with such a horrible ritual.

The rooms outer rim burst into flame, lighting up the cloaked figures positioned in twelve points around the room. Each still holding a knife and candle in hand, their bodies wreaking of the aroma of some sort of gasoline. Their left arms reaching out from their bodies as their right rose the knife to their wrists, pressing firmly against it and without hesitation and a smooth motion they used the blade to peel open their skin. The blade dug through the epidermis and continued to slice through several veins and arteries, blood spraying several feet from their cephalic arteries. The twelve sacrifices collapsed one by one to the floor as their blood continued to pour out from the anterior portion of their forearms. Their blood slowly flowed from their bodies and into depressions like water into a river. They had previously carved a path into the ground to insure that their blood would fill the ritual circle on the floor.

The four others continued to chant as blood from the twelve bodies had finished filling the depressions upon the floor. Each one dropping to their knees and placing their hands upon the ground as if to pray but placed their lips on the edge of four of the stars points. Their chants coming to a pause as they began to drink the blood for a few moments. Once they were finished taking a few gulps, each of them sat up and pulled out matches from their robes. Swiping them across the ground to light the match end. Each rose their match in the air before dropping it into the blood below. Somehow the ritual allowed for the action to ignite the trail of blood, creating a river of fire that spread throughout its design. Its light revealing a fifth member that stood at the fifth point while wearing the skull of a ram. He slowly made his way to one of the ritualists who remained on his knees, a knife pressing against their throat as they slowly cut from one side to another. Their body dropping to the floor as they accepted their role in the ritual. Moments later another hit the ground, then another, and finally the fourth remained on his knees.

"Let you be reborn...." the fifth said with a smile as he pulled the blade across the final members throat, a evil smirk crossed his face with a satisfied glare as the fourth fell to to the ground. The room fell silent for a moment as the devil himself dropped the knife and removed his rams skull. "You fools.... " his body falling through the floor like a ghost walks through a wall.

The four bodies around the room began to shake uncontrollably as the devil had vanished from site, leaving the gate to his world open for the sons of the four horseman to make their statement upon the earth. Each taking over an individual body quickly and without any hesitation as the fire slowly began to die out, closing the gate. The four men rose to their feet, their throats completely healed as they smirked at each other with satisfaction. Upon their entrance to the earth, they brought with them sickness and disease that they released upon the city above. A disease not known by any man, one that was able to kill an entire city within minutes and leaving it a barren wasteland of quickly decaying and dissolving corpses.

The world was now in trouble, for the four horseman now walked among man.

His eyes squinted tightly as he attempted to focus as hard as he could on the subject at hand. His dedication unwavering and his concentration concrete, hard as a rock. He had never been apart of something so challenging in his life.

"This is intense..." Ozi whispered as he watched helplessly, amazed at the events transpiring before him and even doubting if he himself could pull it off.

"Shh" Gray answered back as his tongue slipped form his mouth and bit down on it to in concentration.

The voices of on lookers and people passing by was distracting but he blocked them all out. He had to do this, he had to win. Suddenly he jumped to his feet, he had finally done it. The crowd gasping in shock behind him at the accomplishment. Even Ozi's demonic aura sparked in startling and uncharacteristic fashion. "I DID IT!" Gray shouted loudly, his orange hair waving flawlessly as he dropped to his knees and rose his arms above his head. Through the excitement of the event he had completely forgot about his sportsmanship. He turned his head and watched as a young boy that stood next to him began to tear up, he had lost in this incredibly tough battle between the an adult and a child. Gray's eyes scanned the surrounding crowd and observed the disgusted and repulsed looks on each of their faces.

"Your an idiot..." Ozi added in with disbelief that Gray had actually gone through and beat a child in this competitive environment. "this is digusting..." he finished, spitting on the floor in the empty void that was Gray's subconscious.

Gray looked down at the table, his Queen had blocked in this young mans King in a battle of strategy and forcing a checkmate. The crowd whispered in disgust and disbelief that Gray would actually beat a a handicap child in a game of chess. Embarrassed by his actions, his eyes darted around the area in a panic. He had lost himself in his own competitive nature, taking a game meant to be fun way to seriously.

"Oh my god!" a cry in the distance disrupted the tense ambiance that he had created. Everyone around him turning to watch as a young woman approached, her arm reaching out for help. The first thing Gray had noticed was the sores that seemed to be growing rapidly all over her body. The second was that when the man closest to her reached out to assist her, his body quickly broke into sores as well. Soon everyone before him had started to break out into sores, their bodies literally decaying and revealing bone as if the air had turned into acid.

Alerted and alarmed of the evolving situation Gray's body burst into his orange aura as he launched himself high into the sky to gain distance between him and those on the ground. His instincts alerted him to run from what may have possibly been the most dangerous and contagious disease he had ever seen. He came to a sudden stop several hundred feet above the city of Veltin, his eyes widened in shock and disbelief. All he could see from above was death, destruction, and fire growing all over the city. "What the hell is going on?!" shouting loudly in concern.

"Its the apocolypse...." Ozi, who was the soul of a demon that resided within Gray said quietly as he watched the chaos unfold.

Uriel descended, slowly, the carefully towards chaotic scene before him. Unlike the most recent battlefield he had attended there were still living beings. A raging fire was the only light to be found and the angel tried to scan for whatever was causing this mayhem. A man, covered in boiled rushed towards him. His instincts kicked in and he took to the sky, hovering a few meters above the crazed human. The old man rushed by, not even acknowledging the winged man. Still, danger alarms had gone on off in Uriel's head for some reason.

Gliding slowly through the dimly lit sky, the angel was still trying to find a source of the dark energy he had followed. It had subsided soon after he arrived. It wasn't the giant beasts he had encountered before as they had no discernible power levels. The people down below were screaming, somewhat aimlessly, some jumping into the fire, and others running away. He spotted a child with similar boils from the man he encountered earlier. She was clutching her doll, crying for her mother. A woman, presumably the child's offspring, ran to her, clutching the kid to her body. A wild cry of pain emanated from the woman as she threw the young one away from, herself now being covered in sores. Uriel flapped his wings further up, away from the carnage. It was killing him not to go and help them, but he needed to know what was going on first.

A burst of ki erupted, and Uriel readied his deadly spiked hammer in the direction of the power, ready to fight. An orange flash of light burst in the angel's vision. Straining his eyes to see the new arrival he was taken aback but what appeared to be a familiar presence. A young man with short, color similar to his aura was there.

"Zyren?" he asked to himself. Well at he was aliv...no, it wasn't him. His ki signature was different. He was a bit older and not as strong, though still much more powerful than he. The evil wasn't coming from him and the other man seemed just as confused as he was. The winged man was going to need help fighting whatever was down there. He sheathed his weapon and approached, cautiously. "Hey over there, do you have any idea what's causing all the craziness?

OPORD: The four horseman must be defeated in order for this to end. Little is known about their history and the extent of their powers. However to make this scenario interesting, as one horseman dies then his power will be distributed to the others. If they have a base power of 10,000 and they die, that power will be divided among the three. If three of them have died than the fourth will obtain all strength and powers. That's right, not only could they amass a large energy level, but they will gain the strengths of every one of the passed away warriors. Good luck adventures, the goal of this quest is 4200 words for two participants. Each must reach 2100 words. If we reach our goal and still have more story to tell, than we will move this to another thread for personal saga gains.

His fist clinched tight enough for his fingernails to pierce his skin, causing blood to run down his fingers. The crimson fluid puddled together at the end of his knuckle, gathering into a small droplet that fell tot he surface of the earth below. "Who...could..." his anger was growing more furious by the moment as the screams below fueled it. He knew he couldn't help those beneath that were suffering the most. His lack of experience of knowledge of human medicine made the attempt futile and impossible.

"This is impressive..." Ozi began. "The four horseman walk the earth..." he finished as he noticed Gray's curiosity had been grabbed.

"Like bibble hobo jobo stuff?" Gray questioned as his other hand closed tight in an angry fist.

"Yes, these four are not to be fucked with Gray..." he warned but paused for a moment. "But War owes me money from back in the day." he finished as he tried to persuade Gray to engage.

Gray thought for a moment about what he needed to be looking for, he imagined four men riding horses while holding jack o lanterns in their hands above their heads. He shook the image from his head as he found the reference to similar to an old story he heard as a kid. His attention shifted as a another presence lingered near by, this one more friendly than the gory and death filled environment below. The figure felt more welcoming and friendly for some reason, something about his spirit and energy just made Gray feel at ease. The only other person who had ever had that effect on Gray was Whis.

"Are you a celestial?" Gray replied to his question with another and then rose his hand to stop him from answering, realizing that was rude. "I'm sorry, pardon my manners. But the I do not know the answer to your question, I just know that everyone around me down there just started suddenly dying..." his eyes had averted from the celestial's to the chaos down below.

Justice's Hammer
The stranger seemed, well different, even considering the circumstances. Uriel felt his new companion was struggling with something internally and not doing a very good job of hiding it. Still, he didn't sense any danger from the other man, so he refocused his attention on the destruction below. He needed to find the source of the chaos. In the midst of the smoke and fire he spotted a glimpse of blue fire, slowly moving its way throughout the smoldering wreckage through the city. Head on attacks had not worked well for the angel.

"I'm going to go look around," he said, giving the orange haired man a quick glance. "I saw a specter moving about. I don't think one person could do this, so we should split up. I'll fire a yellow ki blast in the air if I find something dangerous."

With that, the winged celestial softly descended to the city streets, try to keep an eye out for the blue flame. He lowered his ki as far as he could; he know way of knowing if whatever was down there could sense it. He was doubtful, as the previously airborne duo had remained undetected but dying once had given him the angel an extra sense of caution. A bloodcurdling scream caught his attention, and he quickly, but stealthy, headed toward the sound. A young man, with short hair and that blue aura he had been trailing, was strolling past the terrified, fleeing crowd, gently laying his hands on people as they passed. Once touched, their bodies would begin to decay and if they touched others, the process began to accelerate.

"Mystery solved on that," Uriel thought to himself. He had gotten so used to suppressing his blinding rage, thinking logically before acting was like second nature. "So I can't let him touch me. I doubt my hammer would be affected." He was forming a plan. That, thing had his back to the winged man. It would probably sense danger of some sort but either way would. Uriel powered up four golden orbs of ki, and let them hover around his body. He mastered the technique so he could hold them til needed. Leaving the energy balls behind, he backtracked away from the creature, a few blocks down. Taking to flight, only a few meters up he eyed the situation. The blue aura kid was still moving slowing down the street, his murderous hands having a devastating effect.

""I hate that I have to use the murder of the innocent as a distraction but I'll try and make their deaths worthwhile," the angel said to himself, unsheathed hammer at the ready. Time for action. He swooped down, swiftly but silently, towards his soon to be adversary. With his mind, he launched the waiting ki orbs at the small monster. He watched as the first three hit him in back, but with a snarl, the last one was deflected towards the crowd. Another scream from the crowd as Uriel's own attack hit them. "Those were for you, you bastard!" screamed, as swung his might hammer directly in the face of the murderer, lifting him off his feet.

Uriel was seething as he charged for another attack. He going to pulverize this cretin by himself. Never had he killed innocents, even indirectly. The thing started to get up, but before he could fully gather himself, the hammer struck him in the back, causing him to fall again.

"I don't care what you are,"Uriel stopped the attack, letting his opponent pull himself up. "You are weak. You pray on those those weaker than you, but you are no match for me. Believe me, I've battled great warriors, an *cough cough* you are no...," the winged man bent over, choking, lips smacking, his throat dry. He had the wherewithal to know this was not a natural occurrence. Either the man from across the battlefield or some new arrival was doing something. Bending on one knee, figuratively coughing a lung up, he raised his fist to the sky and launched a string of ki blasts high up in the sky, forming a sort of monotone, yellow fireworks display.

He nodded in understanding to Uriel as the two split apart. "Good luck" he said aloud as Uriel began to fly away. His eyes focused on several dark objects down below, he could feel a dying energy within them. People who's body were getting weaker as the disease spread and killed off a larger portion of the population. His fists clinched tightly in anger once again reopening the cuts that had just previously began to heal from before. His body exploded in his orange aura, jerking into a quick burst of speed that lead him into a crashing entrance to the ground. He came down faster than he anticipated and felt the need to bend down to one knee as he landed in an attempt to distribute the energy from his impact. The asphalt of the road cracked and created a circular dent in its surface from the power of his landing.

"That was impressive..." a voice from beyond eyesight called out.

His eyes darted from window to window, door to door in search of the source. He could feel the demonic energy pouring out of their body, but the energy level did not feel close to his in comparison."Who are you...." he questioned as he could feel Uriel's energy level rising. "Has he engaged in combat?" Gray thought to himself but remembered that if they were in trouble the signal would be several energy blasts into the air.

"I am the fuel for death..." the voice started as it echoed throughout the streets from above. "I am the reason for famine..." he continued in poetic fasion. Gray's eyes now darting around frantically searching for him. "I am the reason for Conquest..." he finished as a loud crashing noise burst from several stories above gray. A large towering man leaped through the air, his entrance covered with the debris of the wall he busted through. Gray leaped back quickly to avoid the sneak attack that was coming from above. "I am WAR!" he finished as he pulled his arm back while falling to the street, throwing it forward and punching the ground as he landed. The strength of the demons impact caused for a level 4 earth quake that sent a rippling effect outwards, shattering the base frames of all the buildings within the area. Each collapsing to the ground like a controlled explosion, forcing debris and dust out in a blanket of violent winds.

His foot landed on the ground as he had leaped back to avoid the attack, his eyes widening as he watched the disaster unfold before him. "He's strong!" Gray thought to himself as he launched himself straight into the air to avoid being blinded by the dust storm created from War's attack. The entire area beneath him began an abandoned war zone, he knew just from observing that no one could have survived.

The three balls of energy exploded in the sky in the distance, catching his attention. "Damn..." he started, looking down to the ground and unable to see War below him. "I'll deal with this guy later." he finished as his aura exploded around him and he sped toward Uriel's aid as quickly as he could. He could feel he was closing the distance quickly between him and Uriel, but something was wrong with Uriel's energy. As he approached he could see what looked like a sick Uriel beginning to collapse in the street. "Oh no..." Gray whispered as he sped up faster, his eyes scanning the area for another enemy. They stopped as he noticed a man with a sword halted in the middle of the street, looking up toward Gray as he approached.

"This will be fun..." Death said as he sheathed his blade, his eye lids sealing as he smiled evilly.

Gray landed on the ground several feet away from Uriel who was obviously struggling with some sort of sickness. "I'm sorry guy..." he started as he leaped over Uriel to stand behind him, his hand reaching into a trash can and pulling out the plastic bag within it. He used it as a piece of personal protective equipment, grabbing a hold of Uriel's top with his make shift glove and pulling him over his shoulder. Gray launched Uriel into the sky to try and separate him from death, thinking that the proximity may be what was making Uriel sick.

A crashing noise caught Gray's attention but this time coming from just below. He looked down frantically and watched helplessly as War popped out from under the street. Gray crossed his arms in his chest and focused all of his energy to strengthen his defensive position. He felt the massive pressure of War's attack slamming into his arms and forcing him into the air in an arching fashion. His body violently flying through the air upwards for a moment before descending back down, crashing into the side of a tall building and several of its floors before exiting the other side. He landed abruptly on top of a large concrete parking structure, his entire body feeling as if it had been hit by a large truck.

"Oww..." he whispered to himself as he laid upon the garage rethinking his career choice.

He felt himself being chucked up into the night sky, completely blinding whatever was holding him in. But he could breath, and as his breathing normalized, Uriel was once again aware that we was in the middle of a battle. Enraged that he had was singularly focused on his opponent, his situational awareness had dropped. In a burst of light, the angel tore the metallic container apart.

Below, he witnessed a much more chaotic scene. The friendly stranger must have launched him to safety but now the blue aura man had recovered and a behemoth of a man, muscle bound with with short goat horns adorning his head were now fighting him. Uriel was sure that there was a third party somewhere hiding and it might be the most dangerous one, considering she almost took the winged man out without even touching him. The giant demon, he was sure that was they were they were, at this point, smashed his ally in the chest, sending him crashing through a serious of buildings.

"Alright, I'm back in the game, you demon bastards," he said to himself, as launched himself like a homing missile towards the enormous beast. About 15 feet from the ground, the angel raised his onyx hammer, high over his head, and smashed it heavily towards his target. The fractured the earth before the other fighters feet, causing it to stumble forward. Rocks crumbled forward and flew up in the sky with the attack, and Uriel continued it, swinging his cudgel in a tight arc. It his a large stone and on impact, it went flying towards the monstrous devil, hitting him in the head, causing him tall fall over. His previous opponent tried to sneak around him.

"I haven't forgotten about, you weak murderer," he sneered, as he turned to face the new danger. "I don't have to touch you to send you back to hell." The celestial sheathed his weapon and quickly charged up a solid amount of ki. He had trained himself to use it for efficiently, so he wouldn't tire so fast. With a loud yell of anger, Uriel rapidly blasted a machine gun of golden energy at demon. He stopped before seeing if the barrage had been successful. He had to search out the real danger and the other fighters wouldn't down for long. He also didn't know how long it would take his ally to get back to the fray.

Uriel cleared his mind to sense the other fighter. They didn't emit traditional ki signatures but the was a shroud of darkness that he sure he could detect. "You should have stayed in the shadows, and tried to sneak attack me again. Your small victory has made you bold and foolish."' He could feel a tickle in his throat. "Did it really thing the same attack would work on a warrior again? Here is the consequence of your foolish pride." The angel let his instincts guide him and direct a powerful, large white beam into the perceived danger. He guessed correctly as he hit target square in the stomach. It was a small, thin, human looking creature and it double in pain as the Holy Smite attack struck her. Uriel hadn't taken two step towards his opponent, when a might blow sent him sailing high up in the air.
