Strolling through the town Trunks would find himself caught in an odd state of nostalgia. Although he felt this way for the technical future, bastardizing the very meaning of the word, perhaps the term still fit when looking at ones understanding of the future as Trunk's past. The whole situation was hard to wrap ones head around, giving even more merit to the accomplishments of his mother. She may have not been one for fighting, but she played a part in every battle the purple haired saiyan could remember.

Just as he began to reminisce Trunks would be shrouded in a dark shadow cast down from the sky. Dark looming clouds blotted out any sign of sunlight as they suddenly rolled in from seemingly nowhere. The reactions of the locals matching Trunk's initial surprise would hint at the strange happening not being common. A cloud black as coal quickly blanketed the otherwise bright afternoon sky. Followed by a loud cackle as a disembodied voice addressed the town as a collective.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Dr. Bolt here, the notorious scientist you all know and love." As the voice boomed whispers of the recently fired scientist. Some pointing out how he was once regarded as one of the greatest minds of his day, although he had recently slipped into obscurity after a lab disaster had lost him his job.

Trunks hadn't even been in this timeline for a whole week and he had already managed to walk into a man claiming to plague the world with a barrage of 'weather terrorism', while actually managing to deliver on the promise for the time being. If that wasn't enough he was also among the many intellectuals of this timeline and has been honored for many academic and scientific accomplishments of his own. He had an extensive background and had gained quite a following before his recent falling out and banishment from the public eye. Now he had returned only to threaten his old fans and opposing those he had once worked alongside.

Continuing to listen to the long winded rant of the man Trunks noticed the voice was coming from sound speakers located around the town. They seemed to have been hacked into by Bolt himself, requiring a bit of tech to do so. Seeing as labs weren't available after he had been fired Trunks knew he had to be hiding away, just as the previous creator of the dreaded androids of his timeline had done. After all, it didn't take a genius to notice how many secluded regions were offered by the planet's natural geography. Hiding under the vary noses of ones enemies allows them an unexpected, yet close hideout.

If Trunks had remembered correctly he had arrived after the idea of androids had surfaced, yet none had really reached any true potential to be troublesome. Perhaps one of the labs of old had now become the secret base of operations for this weather altering 'wizard' that plague the town. Now ignoring his words Trunks took to the skies, beginning to search high and low around local cave systems and forest nooks at several abandoned and outdated labs he could remember once finding in his own timeline, at least these had been consistent with his own reality.

Three labs and counting yet no sign of this 'villian' had been found by Trunks. Taking to the sky once more the saiyan hybrid touched down on a rocky plateau, surrounded by a bed of low hanging trees. Once descended from the top of the plateau a ramp lowered to a concealed cavern, a small bulkhead door shut and locked around one of the cave's winding passageways. The heavy metal door still tightly shut and locked, but signs of wear show it had been tampered with since it's original usage.

'This has to be the one' Trunks thought to himself; a bright light flickering to life in his palm, growing to a large yellow flash before a split arm movement sent the ball hurling at the door.

BANG! Metal folds over itself in a low creak before a brief pause and a loud metal twang as the door slid to the ground. The smashed remnants of a single turret lie on the ground as Trunks chuckled. Perhaps brute force could win out in some instances, even revealing the defenses before any mistakes could be made on the lavender warriors behalf. Knowing of the traps that could be ahead Trunks proceeded with more caution then before. Slowly creaking the next door open, as it was unlocked, Trunks would be greeted by a heart-stopping twang. The slight glimpse of a wire was the last sight Trunks got before a bright explosion consumed the room. The door, while shielding Trunks, was quickly turned into an instrument of pain, throwing Trunks across the room before smashing him against the wall. Crimson stained the male's purple hair as blood flowed from the fresh gash upon his scalp. Squeezing out from under the door he regained his balance before the next door opened, a large man stepping out with a grin.

"Still moving, tough little guy." The behemoth of a man taunted as it picked up trunks in one hand. "Exterminating target."

Being raised up into the air Trunks held out his arm before blasting another ki blast at the labs guard, forcing him to release his grip by knocking him back. Planting his feet back on the ground as he was free of the androids clutches Trunks barely met his opponents gaze before he was rushed. The android brought a knee up to the time traveler's chest, a bloodcurdling scream accompanied by a creaking sound before a barrage of punches sent Trunks flying against the wall once more, catching the edge of the crinkled door to the back.

Throwing himself once more to his feet Trunks caught a glimpse of the androids mangled face, mechanical parts hanging out of the half charred face of the bodyguard. He was being beaten by an android, the very thing he had been bested by in his own timeline was getting the better of him once more. Wiping a streak of blood from his mouth Trunks took up a fighting stance, assailing his opponent with a series of punches and kicks. A few metallic clanks sounded with each blow, a visible bruise left behind upon whichever part had made contact with his target. Already beaten and battered Trunks was struggling through a storm of pain, just barely numbed by the adrenaline of battle.

Trunks gritted his teeth as he went in for another assault, landing two uppercuts to what would be the ribs before kicking the android off of his feet. Standing above him Trunks held out his hand as he looked down upon the smashed android. Half of his face was melted, his left leg broken off and several caved in holes from previous punches as it looked up at Trunks.

"Who created you automaton?!" He barked, answered only by a distorted sound file.

Growling in discontent Trunks charges another large ki blast, launching the ball of pure energy into the androids core. The ball ripped through the metal exoskeleton before making contact deep within the machine's core, resulting in a small explosion scattering shrapnel of the android's 'corpse' across the lab. Approaching the large bay door the bodyguard had stepped out of Trunks was allowed entry as it flung open before him. Walking across a small metal grid that guided one safely around high tech machinery his footsteps resulted in a greeting from a familiar voice.

"That was quick!" The old scientist commented from his desk.

Emerging behind what was the only person present Trunks stepped down the three metal steps with a grin. "Indeed!" He spoke, causing a surprised jump from the scientist as he whipped around to see the voice's owner. "Didn't even break a sweat.", Trunks teased further as the older man coward as he was now opposed by a physical opponent without any aid from his bodyguard in sight. He was now helpless and showed no interest in any hostile engagement or threats. Rather he would apologize for his crimes, hoping to seek forgiveness or perhaps even pity from the man.

Grinning as the man stuttered, his voice matched the own from in town, Trunks rushed off in a flying dash toward the scientist. Disappearing right before his punch impacted Trunks appeared on the other side of the scientist, an elbow knocking the man unconscious as Trunks lifted him onto his shoulder. Walking around the lab Trunks inspected most of its workings as he carried Dr.Bolt. Locating the power Trunks shut off the main breaking, rendering all the machines lifeless as he made his way out of the bunker. Using the emergency lock in hopes of keeping any other curious souls away from the lab.

Once out of the cavern Trunks effortlessly floated back into the sky, soaring around to gain his bearings before heading straight for town. Touching down upon the first road Trunks hurried into the police station and turned the evil scientist in, surely there was some sort of charge for 'weather terrorism'. If not Dr.Bolt still had to explain his thief of an android and the raiding and usage of a retired military lab facility. Also of course for all the damage he had cause to the place breaking in to use it after all. At least that is how Trunks planned on explaining the broken android, any machine damages and the broken door that had just happened to also destroy the badly located defensive turret.

If anything Trunks could rest easy knowing that the evil scientist would no longer terrorize the town and tamper with the weather of the world. Which would have without a doubt had some effect on the surrounding wildlife along with any damage it was suppose to have to the general population itself. On top of that Trunks had managed to take another machine of destruction out of the picture, if it had effect or not didn't matter. In the end Trunks simply saw it as another loose end tied up and no longer to be concerned over. Adding even more to the moral gains and possible positive repercussions for the future, Trunks was also gifted with a reward for the capture and return of a wanted criminal, something that would no doubt come in handy assisting him in his journey.

Taking his reward Trunks would simply thank his admires and onlookers alike before taking his leave. He would be careful to leave quickly before causing too much of a scene and without mentioning a name or leaving any trace, after all time travel was fragile, or so he had been told. Trunks wasn't all too eager to find out if the myths and theories were true and would instead prefer to just take care in everything he does.
