[Gem of Telepathy; Combat Rune] ”Hm!... So if A-squared plus B-squared equals C-squared then X equals negative B plus or minus the square root of B-squared minus four times A, times C all over 2 times A would give me the answer much quicker,” the android spoke out loud as he leaned back in his thinking chair. The title of the book read, ‘Arithmetic and Math, You Can Do It!’ Bored out of his mind could be the initial thought from the outside looking in. In the Captain’s chair of El Sun Chariot, sat the most loveable, handsome, hilarious, battle bot the universe had ever laid eyes on. Helios. The ship was deserted as usual since company was not abundant on this luxurious Odin-class spacecraft. The long days and nights of meditation or more simply put, android bedtime, finally over stayed its welcome. The reading of a book that was as simple as blinking, captured his mind to avoid the stress less world he currently resided in. His ship had been on auto pilot for so long, he no longer knew where he was in time or space. His internal communicator that was always connected with his ship had zero messages, zero missed calls, not even a bleep of any danger had been relayed and left for later review. He had indeed met his loneliest point. A change had to come and he knew how to make one such thing happen. With a tiny flick of the wrist, the book leapt out and up from his grasp. His hindquarters soon followed as he stood tall and snapped the book out of the air with his opposing hand. “Time to stretch my imaginary mind,” the red and black bored bot spoke in a monotone voice. Helios reached his free hand into his hip pocket to retrieve a big marble sized gem. The color was unimpressive. A rub of his thumb and a squint of his eyes, the gem began to glow in brightening shades of blue. The swirl of what looked like a universe of fun lit up his palm and shined through his fingers. A grin was sure underneath the mask of the android, which cartwheeled along his face and gently pinched his eyes. [wc: 369 | twc: 369] |

[Gem of Telepathy; Combat Rune; Champion II] He crawled back into the bed within the Ambassador vessel, huffing out as he looked over his body. Parts of his armor were singed to hell, his hands were shaking still. He just.. killed her. The Warlord snarled as he threw Bulma's severed head into his personal closet, a violent intensity in his eyes. He didn't want this, but it happened, and he sure as hell wasn't going to disrespect her with any sort of special treatment. His body felt like it tilted back, leaning himself up against the wall. He needed an escape. An out. Something to get his mind off of what just happened. That's what he needed. He quickly went in his drawer from his bedside table, grabbing a forest green emerald. It was something that Chishan gave him so very long ago.. he hadn't seen him in ages, yet he kept this heirloom for himself. Why, he didn't know. He focused his energies on the gem as he slid into his bed, his body going limp as his mental state was projected into the Astral Realm. A reality where he was able to forge any fantasy realm he desired. Yet, it seemed like the thoughts of his sparring partner were beginning to mold with his own. What could the combined minds of these two cook up..? The realm began to form at his feet, cement roads beginning to sprawl out in every direction. Buildings sprouted from below, forming a concrete jungle that seemed to resemble the interior of New York City. Although he didn't know what the fuck that even was, so it was more comparable to West City. He began to walk down the sidewalk, trying to figure out who stood out among the crowd of astral mortals. A taxi slammed into his side, only to crash while Tarble stood in place, looking at the driver angrily. "Hey, I'm walkin' here!" He banged his hand on the hood of the car before walking further, awaiting his challenger. 335 |

Helios appeared in a sprouted forest of bright white buildings, suspended train systems, cars and people of all types of shapes and sizes. The cool things about the people were that none of them had faces. Bizzare! More strange was the fact people still spoke on their telephones, face to face and even laughter on the outside of a local eatery. “Man, just when I thought things couldn’t get any more silly-goose in the Astral Realm,” the android spoke as he his mask slightly moved from a smirk; his right palm met the high side of his cranium with a soft downward sweep. A slight shoulder shrug was initiated and interrupted by a loud bang. The sturdy swordsman’s body jerked in response as it caught him off guard. Whatever the collision was to his six o’clock position, he knew someone must have been hurt. Then he hurt a familiar voice exclaim that he was walking. Both shoulders followed the chin of the masked warrior to peer at the incident. Finally he squared up and made binoculars over his eyes with his hands, not like he really needed clarity with his unparalleled advanced vision. “Curiosity killed the goat. Good thing I’m not that,” he muttered to himself. Distance increased between his feet and the asphalt. A lofty float made the joker airborne as he traveled to the accident. The Astral Realm was full of weirdos and the like, and without faces who would they be to judge? He spotted the man walking as he neared and followed the man a bit. From the rear he seemed like a miniature powerhouse. Helios’ built-in scouter examined all it could. This unknown man was indeed powerful, a little too powerful, but the red and black nuisance was never afraid, he was not programmed with such a weak feeling, or he was just too stupid to acknowledge it. “Freeze,” the floating man spoke calmly as the faceless street people all stopped in motion. Cars, trains, buses, trucks were all on pause. His movement ceased as he landed. “Allow me to introduce myself, good sir; I am Helios Ryuad Rune Sirat. I mean so harm, but I have noticed you are stronger than most I have seen frequent this realm. May I ask who you are?” His eyes were ready to cut loose a pair of energy beams if he dared attack in such a rude manner as a few have done in the past. His left hand also stayed with a gunslinger’s reach of the grip and trigger for added zest. [wc: 426 | twc: 795] |
