Yan cracked his neck turning his head to the side before mimicking the behavior to the other side. The joint really shouldn't have made such noise, but as always he was healing. Eventually the crinks and soreness would fade to be replaced by new ones in other places. Somehow his jaw alway got rocked about though, which he absently inspected. The astral realm always brought him over in whatever condition he was in at the current moment. His mind refused to let him disconnect even that little bit from his body. You had to be careful after all. Who knew what could happen that would need him back in his form and into attack mode. For him, the astral realm was just another faucet of meditation and he sat in it while keeping track of his living breaths, how his skin felt and ki moved all while chatting.

The place his mind chose whether subconsciously or unconsciously was the Dead Lands that had once been Malifore. In most area's it was a desert of ash made of city and towns completely decimated. The sand wasn't white and peaceful but the burnt black with a constantly forlorn sky, darkened by the pollution Grace had erupted into the explosion. The air was toxic. Nothing could live here, not like this. It was called the Dead Lands for a reason.

Why here then? Well, like most forbidden areas on Grace, he knew it like a home. This wasn't the real place anyway. His lungs were not actually breathing this in, nor was the soot touching and burning his real skin. Even if he felt it, it wasn't real. Only one thing here ever was, so where were they?

Cell hovered ever so slightly in the air as he traversed this forlorn and desecrated landscape. As always when using this gem of telepathy, he seemed to be brought to random worlds either lush and green or in a state of total annihilation. Where this was and whatever had caused it…Cell was amused, destruction pleased him, and he admired the handy work. Thick black ash seemed to coat the landscape and fell from the sky like bastardized snow. No way if this was real would normal biological beings be able to withstand these conditions. But this was neither here nor there in terms of this place.
Flying higher into the burnt sky Cell surveyed his surroundings, normally there was someone in this world…this plane that he would encounter. Everybody to this point had wanted to push him and test his battle prowess as incomplete as it was in this state, but it strengthened his mind and hardened his skills. Who then would Cell come across today. He could sense the pulse of a power faintly in the distance, one that emanated strength even from its far-off location and lowered signature. Very intriguing, blasting forward toward the location he sensed Cell pondered who he would meet and how his encounter would differ from the last several.
yarru-Today at 2:28 PM
The monkey felt the change in the air as Cell blasted through it. Where the bioandroid had been suppressing or not, the burst of speed affected the area around him, pulling a the greys like a thumb over wet paint. It wasn't someone he recognized. The astral realm was bringing him someone new and recently that had been a bit of a disappoint. People tied to Juch, people tied to things he was trying to bury. The astral realm always brought people together that were meant to be together in some shape or form, but you didn't always have control of that shape and form. Who would this guy be then? What would he become?

Yan's red hair was the easiest thing to see from the sky like a patch of blood on the ruined and colorless landscape. His power level was sensible, and the only sensible ki, but it was muted to hide any of his real strength. If the bioandroid landed he'd find himself towering over a human looking man. Yan was only five and half feet tall, muscular but on the thinner side, and his face was naturally boyish. It was only his eyes that suggested one be cautious. They were very dark and even as his expression was an absent smile, his eyes looked at his new companion with care as if every detail of him mattered. It was almost endearing, but there still remained a certain darkness in them like his interest was not completely free of malice.

"Welcome to Malifore~" he offers, stretching his arms out on both sides in a gesture meant to display all the destruction around them.
Krono-Today at 2:40 PM
Cell landed lightly upon the ground, his cat like irises examining the man before him. He was much shorter compared to him, Cell was at least a foot or more taller and built more than the man’s wiry frame. But a power resided inside the one standing before him he had yet to feel before. Cell grinned slightly as he took in the boyish charms and the man’s red hair, obviously his looks were a very devious deception…his eyes spoke the truth. It was his eyes that made every fiber of Cell’s being wary. Cell would need to be wary around this new figure. Where his physical form was evident in its intent and purpose, this one…this one was hiding behind a veil.
Graciously nodding his head Cell showed no malice by raising his upturned hands upon his arrival. “Your greeting is appreciated stranger, This one’s name is Cell…I like the décor…your doing?” The Biological Android chuckled briefly as his tail flicked absent mindedly from side to side
yarru-Today at 2:53 PM
Yan's hands dropped absently but when Cell asked if it was his doing, the monkey paused and turned his attention to the scene around them. What it his doing? Technically no. Someone else had blown this place to ashes. He had lit the match however. He had poured the gasoline and set the piece that would burn the quickest in the right places. The fact that the dead lands remained this way was also his doing, even if it was guilt by inaction.

"Oh no," he answers in the end. "I'm well liked in these parts don't you know?" He grinned widely at this and while he showed no teeth there was something clearly devious to his words. He waved his new friend along so that they might walk and talk. "This planet...She's quite the place. It's more fun when the gears are churning than when they are forced to a stop."
Krono-Today at 3:03 PM
Cell was not entirely convinced by the response he received, he could sense some deceit in the words as they rolled over the tounge of this mysterious figure. But it seemed for the time being he was more interested in talking and walking through the desolated fields than clashing fists. It was a surprising change and turn of events then what Cell had previously encountered. Something still told him to be on his guard though, that this man was not as friendly as he appeared. But neither was Cell, he could however forge relationships to achieve his goals, so what would it hurt to continue to chat. Cell was after all very interested in what he mant by his last statement. "Cell is curious who you are stranger...you speak of this planet as if you know it with intimate knowledge...there is more yet to see?"
yarru-Today at 3:11 PM
Cell obliged to walk with him which made the monkey pass him an innocent closed eyed smile before he looked back ahead. His companion asked him who he was but then followed it with a much more interesting question.

"This is but one country if you can call it that," he explains. "These are but the Dead Lands, the rest of the continent is bustling with life. Strong life too. You probably can't feel it here, but in the living world, The gravity here is quite pressing. To survive here you have no choice but to become stronger, and even then she may still try to crush you despite your hard efforts."

Such things were no longer true. Grace no longer fiddled with the gravity, leaving it at a constant bur stable force. If it grew past that, it wasn't a she responsible. Still, such was Grace lore, and he did not plan on abandoning it. A sentient planet no longer sentient wasn't very interesting.
Krono-Today at 3:18 PM
Cell was quite aware the man had only answered the last part of his inquiry and stopped, his tail flicking against the ground once more. While he appriciated the history lesson, he was becoming increasinly aware of the half truths in this man's speech. What game was he playing at, he obviously loved his games. Cell crossed his arms and coughed. "Your name...or is it not custom to introduce yourself before you spit craftily worded tales and half truths." Of course Cell could not prove this, it was a gut feeling...he of course was already in his ship waiting to disembark onto Grace, his ships computers had given him enough information on the planet to know he would not die upon leaving it.

yarru-Today at 3:27 PM
Yan had continued walking when Cell stopped and was forced to look back at the creature over his shoulder. He smiled and there was a small bit of condescension in it mixed with fondness. He was looking at Cell like a mother might when their child had stopped to stand their ground on something silly.

"It is not my custom," he agrees easily. He turned around completely, his thumbs tucked back in his pockets as his continued nonchalance pressed forward. "Don't you think the practice of introducing yourself in the midst of so many more interesting things as a bit egotistic?" he asks, curious to Cell's opinion even if he was just voicing a train of thought that had been running through his mind for awhile. "Is my identity really more interesting, more pressing, than information about Grace, a destination that might be pressing towards you even now?"

He had no way of knowing Cell was going to Grace, but the world built around them was not entirely his devise. The astral realm was made by the joining of two minds pulling them into some common ground. If Cell wasn't going to Grace, well it was very possible Grace was going to Cell. So were the possibilities of a traveling planet.
Krono-Today at 3:32 PM
Cell shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk, two could play this game. "Name or no name, all normally becomes relevant at some point." Cell smirked slightly as he he was easily picking up on this game, it had not been long since his awakening and the methods of others he could easily adapt into his own design. This was one of those cases he was sure. "By all means continue your fascinating tale stranger with no name."
yarru-Today at 3:40 PM
Once more Yan offered a soft closed eyed smile at Cell's decision taking some pleasure in the android's easy acceptance of his words. What had he said? Craftily worded tales?

"You mistake me," he offers absently as they began to walk. "I'm not speaking carefully at all, and if it sounds as a half truth, well that is only due to omissions I hope you might sort through and press into," he explains. Cell was trying to understand the game after all, so he would give him that much. Information about Grace wasn't some dangerous secret needing protected, nor was it even his concern these days.

"Trust me," he says with a pause to make his new friend think it were an actual request before continuing, "if I were trying to deceive you, you wouldn't know it." These words held not a single ounce of dishonesty nor uncertainty.
Krono-Today at 3:48 PM
Cell had to admit if the man next to him wanted him crippled he would surely be buried in the ashen covered ground beneth their feet. This he could sense from primal instinct, Cell had much to learn and even further to travel in unlocking his perfect biolology...he would need greater power and it was his trip to Grace that he hoped would provide him to semblence down this path. "One must take you at your word stranger, you say Trust you...but this one can tell he has very little choice." Cell casually shrugged his shoulders. "I am assuming your can surmise from careful deduction this realm is forged because one of us has a connection to the planet you speak of.." Cell felt no need to hide what he was saying it would matter little in the end. "But being here even in my ship I do not sense your power so you are not here.." The Bio-Android continued to match the mysterious mans pace as he spoke. "My Drive for perfection and power beyond comprehension has brought me here....something calls to me."
yarru-Today at 3:59 PM
"Oh! You're on Grace?" he asks with sudden enthusiasism and almost excitement that was hard to discern from sincerity or something mocking considering Cell had said it was something to figure out. Yan wasn't one to jump to assumptions unless if benefitted him and even then he usually didn't believe the assumptions he called people put on until he said their response. There was no greater way to cause a tell then to spout out a brazen lie or something he should not know. Talking was just another means of getting information for him, even if he did quite enjoy it.

Cell's actual location being on Grace presently wasn't really a surprise, but it was only a speculation until the bioandroid confirmed it. He could be lying of course but that was a whole different level of this game, one Yan did not think Cell had reached.

"I'm not there currently," he agrees without a care. "But I know more about her than anyone else. Ask me something~"
Krono-Today at 4:05 PM
Cell decieded to skip over the first question and tilt his head in thought, "Tell me...what does one do on this Grace to aqquire knowledge and power...something old calls to me in this universe...beckons to my drive for perfection...it is almost like this one can not resist the lure of some ancient entities that used to roam freely through the universe." Cell paused...he had not really voiced this before, but what did he have to lose by asking the question. The man would either answer or deflect leading down another path. Cell's only true objective was to pursue his perfection and to further his biological superiority...by any means required.
yarru-Today at 4:14 PM
Yan wasn't completely expecting this kind of question but his head tilted a little to his shoulder before he looked back to Cell.

"Grace is an ancient entity," he answers simply. "She's a sentient planet, a Titan bound into a planet's form to hide her from the Finders, those that would hunt the Kayren." This too was said simply as if he wasn't giving up important information on his supposed friend. Grace was not a friend however. She never was.

"Her sentience has new form now however, this is likely what you are searching for," he adds, thinking about the creature maiming the once goddess and ingesting all that Lost DNA in its perfection. It reminded him of someone else the Cell might see interest in eating, but she was much more protected then the girl who betrayed everything.

"I don't know where she is now," he admits refraining admitting that he could easily find her. He wasn't going to volunteer for anything like that. This was Cell's quest. "But the planet will likely hold many clues as to where she's gone. The old temples, the large cities, even these dead lands, were once important parts of her body. Answers are waiting for you."
Krono-Today at 4:27 PM
Pondering the information garnered Cell ingested the freely given information, he felt though that perhaps was not all of it. He pushed that back into the recesses of his mind, he would have to search for this ancient entity if he could and see how it would benefit him in his perfection...and discern then if all was factual that he was being told. "Surprising you give this so freely." Cell nodded in appriciation. "I seek power, the greater and the more ancient the bigger the draw...so many different paths and trails in this galaxy to follow." Cell chuckled. "Though I'm sure you have surmised I have far yet to go in my quest."
yarru-Today at 4:36 PM
Yan gave him a small glance when he mentioned his surprise before he shrugged. “I don’t care for Grace,” he says gaining another smile as if she were an annoyance more than a person, and perhaps she was to him.

Their walking had lead them out from the ash into dusty and barren earth. The toxicity was beginning to wane as Yan led them, as if to offer proof there was in fact much more to this place than the dead and broken.

“Maybe one of those paths will lead you to me,” he adds with another sidelong glance before grinning widely as if he had just offered a brilliant joke. It wasn’t that it might happen, because it definitely could, but if it did...Well, that was the joke because a path leading to Yan must be very carefully trekked, and even then, if his life was the blockage to keep going, Cell simply wasn’t going to be able to keep on going.
Krono-Today at 4:47 PM
Cell nodded, "Perhaps it will, though...one starts to wonder why the astral realm paired us together...by chance does not seem to fit the equation." Cell looked around at their new surroundings, they were in stark contrast to where they had been. "Perhaps in the world of the living a meeting by chance between us would be for a purpose to benefit the both of us." The thought actually sat well with the Bio-Android. Obviously this man's power far outstripped his own, but his knowledge of the galaxy could be invaluable. "I have no desire to have you in my way as an enemy......I can tell you are formidable and could either stand in my way or help me... I have much I could gain from a mutually beneficial relationship."
yarru-Today at 4:51 PM
Yan let out a soft hum. “Wouldn’t we all?” he answers back in his absent tone, neither agreeing to a mutually beneficial relationship nor declining. If every relationship could be like that it would certainly be nice. He was sure that was what a lot of people hoped for if they weren’t already jaded and knew better how to take.

He felt the pull of the living world and let out a small sigh before looking to the much taller creature with another soft smile. “We’ll just have to see what happens when we meet for real~” He wasn’t sure when that would actually be.

Krono-Today at 4:53 PM
Cell nodded, the time in this plane of existence was coming to a close for both. "What will be will be, till then stranger."
