The reuniting of his old...acquaintance?...had been exhilarating. His astonishment of the angel's power filled Uriel with pride. Their first encounter had Zyren thinking the other a coward and the death of the winged man, though not discussed, likely did not impress him either. The fact that we continually kept the young man on his toes during their spar was cause for a little celebration. As he flew towards the Kame House, the multicolored expanse of the setting sun at his rear. Their friendly battle had lasted longer than it felt. As the pink shack came into Uriel's sight, he envisioned a long shower, and a beer, lounging outside on a patio chair, watching the starlit canvas.

Uriel landed softly on the sandy beaches of the Kame house. Not a cloud in sight and a just a slight breeze blowing through, the tide gently ascending and receding. The angel pulled out a small, red and white pill out of his pocket and threw it a short distance in front of him. A pull of smoke accompanied by a brief popping and there it was. He has recently purchased a space ship and a gravity training unit. He really had no desire to travel the stars, especially with so much injustice to battle here on Earth but they didn't sell the training apparatus by itself. Uriel ended up making use the kitchen, bed and showers. He recalled struggling bathing himself in house's facilities and it was always a hassle fitting his expansive wings in it. The gravity machine was worth every zeni. It was a grueling work out and the angel had noticed a large boost in power in less than week. The celestial was already at the max setting and was sure he could handle more. He'd have to look see if there were more powerful machines.

The cold was refreshing and winged man stood naked, his head slightly tilted down directly below the shower head. The adrenaline from his spar had kept from feeling pain but now that Uriel had wound down, he definitely feeling it. He turned the knobs to the left until the water ceased to flow. The angel shook himself vigorously, water spraying across the across the massive bathroom and began to pat himself dry. He started dressing, a white long sleeve button shirt and a pair of loose fitting beige slacks and headed outside towards the beach outside, grabbing a few beers along the way.

The celestial woke at the feeling of another power level approaching swiftly. He stood up and saw a winged figure landing towards the angel. He powered up quietly, his golden aura illuminating the surrounded area a bit. He relaxed the sound a familiar voice beckoning him.

"Uriel" he asked, "incredulously is that you?"

A white dragon appeared before the angel His wings blue were quite a bit smaller than Uriel's but still very powerful. The beast had two short horns on the top of his head, sharp talons on his feet and hands and thick, gold bracelets, with ancient ruins inscribed on his neck and left arm. Though he had been in the Next Dimension for centuries, he was killed in battle as a young teen, thus his youthful features belied the wisdom and fortitude of the mystical creature.

"It's me alight," a smile could not help but creep up on the angel's feature. This was all very curious but whatever the reason, it was good his companion from the other world. "I should be asking the questions. How did you come back to the world of the living? And on Earth training with my former Master Roshi?"

"I was finally allowed to train under the Grand Kai. After a good period of time, I was sent to talk to King Yemma. It would seem that this planet has a lot evil been spreading throughout this planet, and they judge and master agreed that I showed potential. They set me up with Master Roshi and I've been training here ever since. I remember you saying that you were from Earth, but I don't Roshi.

The celestial chuckled softly, "Well, me dying wasn't the only reason I was frustrated. So what bring to the island so late at night?" He was inspecting his companion. "And all scratched up and bruised?? Wait, lets go inside and talk. I'll make us something to eat."

Uriel still had some leftover honey glazed ribs in the fridge. With a small burst of his fire breath, he cooked the meat til it was sizzling and gave it to his friend, a handful of wet wipes for the dragon's claws. The leviathan began to dig in, as he continued his recount. He had been training with Master Roshi for a few week now and had been sent on various training missions. The beast had successfully infiltrated a dangerous underground, criminal fighting ring. The angel couldn't help but feel a little jealous. The turtle hermit had him fetching dirty magazines.

"Hey, Uriel, would you like to come with me?" Bleu asked. "I may need some back some back up."

"My face is pretty well known in the criminal underbelly. My wings are a dead giveaway." The young angel mulled over his options. "I can't be inside but I could fly around if or until you need me. My usual distress signal is to fire three ki blast in the air but you're going to be inside."

"I'm not due to fight until tomorrow night. We could practice sending signals in our minds," the dragon offered.

Uriel nodded in agreement. "Sounds good. First, we both need to sleep. I had some custom beds installed because of my wings. It should fit comfortably for you. In the morning, we can get to work. I need to show you my gravity training room."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The two warriors were drenched in sweat, the blue winged beast panting with exhaustion. Uriel was impressed with the warrior's progress but he knew he could push him further.

"Come on," the angel taunted. "Is that all you've got? This is only ten times gravity. I train at twenty five."

The dragon launched himself Uriel, razor sharp claws extended. Indigo eyes blasted out, seeking his sparring partner. The celestial vanished and reappeared behind the beast. He lunged towards his opponent but immediately was sent flying across the room from Bleu's powerful tail. Uriel crashed into wall and fell to his feet.

"All that new power and you still get tricked that easily?" Bleu playfully mocked his old friend.

The angel gathered himself with a smile. "Good, now we're sparring." He began strafing across the room, scattering beams ball towards the dragon. The leviathan deftly fielded them with his hands. Then, Uriel made his move. He vanished behind the his opponent, then above and finally right in front of him. His speed was such that Bleu was totally disoriented trying to follow him and thus was unprepared when the golden winged man struck him in the chest. The beast fell down and right as Uriel was about to follow the attack, the gravity decreased and the light turned crimson red to the standard white of the room.

"Nice spar," said Uriel said as Bleu stood up. "You've really improved since we last sparred. Now lets get something to eat and we'll head to the fighting ring."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uriel was only partially focused on the mission at hand, just enough to keep his awareness on his friend. The rest of his attention was occupied with the encounter with powerful Namekian. He landed on a on a low rooftop a couple of miles from the dilapidated building that housed the illegal fight club. It was a cloudy night and in the small city, there were very few street signs. The dim lighting didn't bother the angel, he would know when the action would start by Bleu's signal. This might not be the night where they completed the mission anyway. If the dragon didn't feel right about it, they would try another time. Uriel could not stop thinking about last night. What the hell happened? The vender sold him a defective gem? Uriel would have to do so research on the the balding, fat human. He was still very heated and the incident and he would have to exercise massive restraint not to hurt the shopkeeper too badly if in fact he did pull a a fast one on the angel.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hey dragon, you're up next," the changeling beckoned Bleu with a twisted smile. Glacier loved the sight of blood and carnage. The blue winging dragon had befriended him with lies about murder and robberies and the idiot eat it up. From the stories that psycho told him, he would gladly end the killers' life. Some heroes may have considered all life precious, but Bleu had been in real, bloody wars and fought the worst kind of monsters. He had compunction of ridding the world of such vile evil.

As bell rung and the a bloody corpse was thrown out back in the dumpster the dragon began to approach the ring. In the opposite corner was his opponent, a short but stoutly built Saiyan. His head was shaved and he was shirtless with. The tail had was wrapped tightly around his waste. Bleu noticed someone trying grab it and get blasted. There apparently was some stories about how squeezing cause enormous pain but unfortunately for the other fighter, that was not the case. As the dragon thought about the Saiyans' appendage, he noticed him jamming a giant needle in his thigh.

"You're dead, freak," the juiced up simian leered at he winged creature, pounding his massive fists together.

Bleu sighed, annoyed at the goon who thought he could best him. The ref, a massive black haired demon, walked in the middle of the ring and the two fighters approached.

"You know the rules, puke stains" Mephisto growled at the pair, his deep voice booming above the crowd noise. They wanted blood, especially from the dragon who had been, fairly effortlessly, tearing them apart. "No ki blasts. No engaging with the pieces of shit in the audience. Fights are to the death. You got that, you fucking rejects?" Bleu nodded slightly his attention seemingly on anything but the fight. His opponent just stared him, breathing heavily, dancing around in place,
with drool hanging from his mouth. "Leek!" the devil shouted at roided up monkey. "You got that?!" The simian grunted restlessly. The ref exited the arena, "then start fighting, you disgusting weaklings."

The enraged Saiyan fighter rushed white skinned dragon, his massive elbow leading the way. Bleu vanished and reappeared directly in above the other fighter and with his sinewy right leg, kicked him in the head, sending the simian sailing across the ring. The levitation landed softly and began fiddling with his long whiskers. The crowd roared their disapproval and the ref and a two security guards had to hold them back from entering the arena.

Bleu may have looked like he was nonchalant and honestly he was when it came to fight at hand. No, he was scanning for someone in particular. The dragon had seem his first night at the disgusting sinkhole but not since. He had spotted his query; a massive alien with long, blue hair pulled up in pony tail called Abeer. He was talking and laughing with a group other crime bosses but Bleu could sense him focused on the winged creature.

"You're not going to mock me!" a voice bellowed in the direction of the dragon. "I am a Saiyan, a member of the fiercest race in the universe. You're just an overgrown fairy!" the steroid infused roared at the his adversary, pointing his finger. The earth began to shake as the Saiyan began to power up. He was was shouting at the top of his lungs. Bleu rolled his eyes at the theatrics which only infuriated the simian more. Electricity spiraled throughout the fighters' hefty frame as he began to raise his feet off the ground. With a crazy tone in his voice he addressed the his opponent. "Roll your eyes at this, dragon bitch," he said, much quieter than the rest of his boisterous declarations. The Saiyan's mouth opened up began to glow indigo. Bleu braced himself for the attack.

It ended up not necessary. The crime pointed his finger at psychotic fighter and in the blink of an eye, shot a crimson laser, slicing the airborne Saiyan's throat. The primate crashed to the ring, holding his neck, gurgling while blood squirted off from the wound.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He as still thinking about the fight when noticed couple of people headed his way. They didn't seem to see the angel the angel "Probably just patrolling, making sure the fights weren't interrupted. Uriel listened intently to their conversation.

"That idiot doesn't even know what's coming," a tall, thin, purple skinned squid like creature sneered.

A muscle bound female human with tattoos covering most of her body flicked her cigarette in the air. "That pussy dragon is gonna pay for making a fool of us. It seriously thought one of Roshi's lackey could go unnoticed?"

The group laughed at the the cocky prick's impending doom. Uriel was furious. They were going to to surprise and jump his friend? Not if he could do anything it. There were only the two. Piece of cake and it would use as nice outlet for his prior frustration. He wouldn't even have to power up a little bit. There pathetic weaklings wouldn't require much energy. The angel swooped down silently, drawing out his razor sharp sword in his left hand, the spiked hammer still sheathed.

"You're not going to live long enough to extract your disgusting revenge," he whispered menacingly. They turned in surprise, weapons drawn. The winged man lunged at the gang and with his flame covered blade, sliced all of their weapons, rendering them useless. He still needed to keep the quick and silent. The human female launched her fist at the angel. At the same time the crustacean bent
low and attempted to sweep his legs from underneath him. Uriel twisted under her strike, grabbing her left arm, while leaping above the other attack. He simultaneously broke the human's arm at the elbow joint and kicked the crouching gangster directly in the chin, sending him sprawling. The massive human started screaming, so Uriel crushed her throat. He got a small bit of satisfaction seeing her struggle to fight his hand off while she wheezed in pain. The female stopped breathing and the celestial tossed him at her still recovering partner.

"Your turn, bastard," Uriel ran at the squid, unsheathing onyx hammer. "This is what you get when try to take advance of unsuspecting and weaker people." He brought his cudgel directly on the base of the skull of the whimpering alien. The the hammer smashed his head, blood and brain matter splattering all about. The angel wiped his weapons on the dirt and took flight towards the arena. Bleu was going to need his help after all.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The crowd became silent as kingpin made his was through the crowd. The huge Dameskian walked past the still twitching Saiyan as he approached the dragon.

"How's Master Roshi, Bleu" he said with a sick grin. The leviathan stood silent. "You're an idiot if you don't think I have eyes and ears everywhere. It's been entertaining watch pulverize my gang but I want to see what you're really made. How about all of them," he motioned to the eager crowd, "against a fearsome dragon. Have at him."

"Bleu leaped above the crowd, spewing fire across the room. Laser blasts erupted and Bleu fell the ground with a yelp. The enemies started to surround him. This was not how this was supposed to go down. He hurriedly signaled Uriel with his mind while rushing forward with energy beams searing forward. He was going to need the aid of the angel and quickly.

The dragon was struck down from behind. "Hey little fairy," Glacier sneered standing in front of the beast. "Why don't you run back that old man to get some more training." He kicking him again, causing the winged beast to cry out in pain. The whole room was laughing at him as they began to approach again.

The changing moved to kick him again but before he could, Bleu turn around and flipped him hard to the ground with his powerful arms. "You should learn to finish your enemy instead of taunting." Bleu pinned the alien down with both hands eviscerated him with strong, razor sharp teeth. Glacier screamed in agony as his guts were spilled out on the canvas.

Abeer, the crime boss stopped the rushing crowd "everyone get back. You have all proved yourself useless, "he said with disdain. "Almost thirty of you couldn't take on one weak fighter."

"Yeah, hold on n.." a Namekian spoke up and approached the pony tailed mob boss. Raised his hand and blasted him in the face. The green skinned man fell to ground.

"Anyone else want to intrude on my fight?" the crime lord boomed, scanning the room. "Good. Now, Bleu," he turned his attention back to the beast. "Let's see what you do.

The winged levitation rushed his adversary with a roundhouse kick but the other fighter simply blocked it with left hand and back hand the dragon. Bleu stood up and swung his massive tail towards his foe. The blue haired alien jumped above that attack and the struck the beast squarely in the jaw, cause him to fall.

"Is that all you've go, ancient dragon?" Abeer mocked him as he blaster a pair of energy blast at his adversary's flank. Bleu roared in pain. "I thought Master Roshi only taught strong students, not weak fools like this." The huge crime boss continued the attack the winged beast in various spot and gathered criminals hooped and hollered at the pain of their annoying opponent.

A powerful energy blast blew the hinges the hinges off the door knocking the fighters flat on his face. "If you want a match, I'm all yours scum."

"It's Uriel!" someone said in fear. He was well known in the criminal underbelly.

Abeer had heard of him but new met him person. He was sure the tales were exaggerated. "Take care him," he said to slightly frightened gang. "Now!," he screamed and they jumped to attack the celestial.

Uriel no patience to suffer these impotent fools and he need to save his friend. Raising both hands out front of his chest, he powered up a pair of golden energy balls and began to fire rapid fire machine gun blast in front of the income horde. Flapping his massive wings rose up in sky, he continued the attack, chucking charged golden orbs into growing explosions.

"Uriel!" a voice called. Bleu. Abeer was beating him in head as the dragon futilely tried to cover himself. The Damaskian looked up at the angel and flipped around the leviathan and held his hand the creature's throat.

"If you move, he dies," he shouted to the winged angel. "You leave and I swear I will too. You can pick the beast up when I'm gone."

"No," the angel said, seriously.

"No?!" the crime boss said incredulously. "I know you have no problem but I also know you value innocent like more than your so called justice."

Uriel vanished from sight. Before Abeer could react, the angel grabbed from behind and threw him down. He checked on dragon friend friend briefly. Thankfully the mob boss had only scratched his neck but Bleu was still in bad shape. The blue haired man tried to run away but Uriel, in one swift motion, drew his sword and chopped Abeer's legs off. The Damaskian roared in pain. The angel ignored him as he gather his heavy teammate off the ground.

"Wait!," the low legless pain pleaded. "Don't leave me here!"

Uriel glanced momentarily in just before he flew into the night sky. He dropped Bleu off gently a few meters away. Reaching in his pocked he produced a small, green bean.

"Here," he said gently. "Eat this." He dropped the legume in the dragon's mouth. the beast arose, coughing and spluttering. "Just swallow, friend." His eye opened wide. "You're ok. I gave you something that will instantly heal all your wounds. Now if you'll excuse me, I just need to finish our mission.

Uriel flew slowly into the building. Corpses were strewn about as well as grievously injured others. They were moaning and writhing in pain. Uriel hovered as he watched them with no visible emotion.

Uriel," the said pathetically. Abeer was crawling towards the angel. "You've come back to help me. I knew you were a good person. Help me up, please."

The winged man started through the others soul. "No," he said, with the exact same tone he used when the mobster made his ultimatum. He put his hand in a triangle shape and began to charge his energy. "AHHHHHH!" Uriel screamed as a massive energy wave covered the room.

"No!" the crime lord bellowed as the room was enveloped in destructive, golden ki. Uriel rapidly flew backwards out of building towards his friend. Explosions rang into the night sky and deafening crash followed shortly as the building collapsed in on itself.

The angel landed gracefully to the dragon who was watching the carnage, awestruck. The winged angel looked on as well as fires roared, lighting once empty sky. Neither of of them said anything for a minute.

Bleu finally looked towards the celestial, shame in his eyes, "Uriel, I..."

"Don't even say it, Bleu," the winged said man, trying to comfort the other warrior. "You did great. Someday you'll rescue me." Now, he said gathering weapons and holstering them. " I assume you're well enough to fly?" The dragon nodded the affirmative. "Then let's go back to Roshi's. I could use a shower, beer and something to eat."

With that, the two fighters took off into the inky, black sky, a golden and azure blur rocketing towards rest and recuperation.
