Alice tapped her foot against the monorail floor as she held onto a handle that helped everyone on the train not slip and slide around too much. As someone with unnatural grace, this was not a necessity, but it was in another sense. Long amber hair flowed around her head and her back as the loudly dressed young female watched around her. Several men had tried to stare at her, and while she allowed it, each had seen a very distasteful look in her dark violate eyes. The Twilight Princess rode in a car that headed directly to the home ditrict that she had stayed in with her mother, and where everything had started and ended, in the space of a week. She'd lost her mother, most of her true freedom, and her innocence. She'd been so foolish back then, and she smiled now. A tired look plagued her face, a haggard look that Alice should not have had.

It was the look of a tird adult. It was the reason, she guessed, that several people stayed away from her. There were always looks, but that was the current state of affairs. Alice stayed aware of her surroundings, though, because she was not sure if Fayte had stayed in that town or not, or if he even left Earth. He wasn't like anyone else that she had met from Damaskia, but it was clear that he was not someone to triffle with. Not even her mother had memories of him.

With Alice was the flag of Damaskia, as well as the pin of the former commander. They were not out and in display, that would have been foolish, but they were in her duffel bag. The young Celestial had only brought a few items of note, as she could usually use an old pocket dimension, if the need really arose. Leerly gazes stayed on her as she existed at a stop in what would have been considered nowhere. Alice was thrown her back, and then the train moved on. She walked through to the station and paused just before check in for the next station.

The man at the ticket area was someone that had lost a loved one in the Daji versus Kranzer battle. She stiffened, and wondered about her plan for another moment. This was a small and tight knit community. Had she really thought it so wise to make these people forget their loved ones? Had it been her place to then restore the memories? The town would become a hell scape, and likely emplode in on itself. Even if she did it while most people slept...

The Twilight Princess closed her eyes slowly. There were wrongs that she needed to correct. There would be no use to keep this away, swept under the rug. It was close to one in the morning, so most of the people were asleep. Alice walked up to the man, the last customer of the day. She gingerly gave him her ticket, and he looked at her, with a smile. It was honest and didn't tell of any hardship, just a young man doing his job. He spoke to her with the last of his professional cheer, as he clipped her ticket, "Last'n of th' day, huh? Good thing, I'd almost'a had ta let ya stay here durin' the night." His grin only widened when she smiled back.

"It's not my first time here. You would have waited, I think. You seem like that kinda guy." Alice remarked this with her smile, even though she knew in an hour every person would likely awaken. She smiled a little less when he gave her a curious look, then a fast look over. "I've only seen you in passing," she explained. He seemed to understand- this was not her first time in this place.

She was waved on, and made it to the streets before the security gate closed behind the young Celestial. Alice gripped her hand tight, enough that it hurt, before she moved on. The hotel that she had elected to stay at was near the edge of town, in the direction to Capsule Corp. That was her next destination. It would be wise, she believed, to her a few capsules there to hold her belongings, instead of her pocket dimensions. In a way, it was more just a symbolic movement of her items.

That night, things really did go south, very quickly. Despite everything that was fixed, the mourning of the people who had not known of the deaths of their loved ones affected everyone greatly. Alice stayed in her room the entire night, and passed away anyone that tried to come in. She concentrated and prevented as much looting and violent crimes as possible. The news crews were shorter on staff due to their own loved ones' lives being snuffed out. The phrase "with great power, comes great responsibility didn't mean nothing. Alice had done something terrible to these people too, despite not killing a single soul. She had removed the ability to remember those that had died. Now it all flooded back, all at once.

The young Celestial was able to prevent a lot of crime that night, but it did not come without it's price. The day was slow, and her ability to communicate with her beloved was gravely reduced. The mental strain to turn away so many people from impure thoughts had in turn drained Alice of her psychic abilities to a degree that made everything slow. She ate very little that first day afterwords, and just kept an eye on the news. She had brought similar cloths to the ones that she wore now, only in a black and white for mourning the deceased.

Of course there were a great deal of questions. Alice danced around them deftly as she showed up to simply watch from afar. In so little words, she expressed that she had visited the town around this time last year, but had left before the tragedy. She came back to pay her respects, only to see that so many funerals were being held. People were suspicious, but since Alice had had the appearance of a fox back then, they could not say that she wasn't just a tourist back then.

What was worse for Alice, however, was how Hikari was placed in the blame for this. People were outraged that she was dead- some had even came to her funeral and wept. However, since Hikari, Hayami, and Daji were the only fox people that they had- and Hikari had been a hard woman- they had assumed it was Hikari that had done the killing. with those damn martial arts abilities. The same abilities that had assaulted the assembly on Earth. The ones that had went as far as to destroy Capsule Corp. A Paladin that seemed to have joined forces with the Saiyans. Most of them had forgotten the frail thing Hikari had been at the time. None of them cared to remember that, as someone needed the blame. Anyone needed blame that could be seen.

The second night was a little worse, as she was not able to control the backlash against her mother. Due to her high abilities as a psychic, it was worse as sheh was able to hear everyone's thoughts of rage and disgust against her mother. Alice was not prepared for that, but she decided that there was no going back. Alice had returned their memories, and this was part of the process. She stayed in her room that night again, and only cleaned and cleansed the outfit. For with the anger was also the sadness that came with even more funerals the next day. She didn't need to use her psychic powers that second night, but the backlash of the first night made it all the more clear why one had to be careful.

The third day, many more funerals were attended. Alice was more accepted, as she stayed out of people's way. The Twilight Princess stayed back and mourned as they did, not as she normally would have. She did carry magatama with her, but they were held much like a rosary, within her hand and not tossed about. Not much progress was made as to who would be punished for this act, nor could anyone explain the year long amnesia that the whole town had endured. It took everything in Alice to keep the peace at a minimal level.

Finally, calls to punish Hikari ceased as there was no body, and no grave, to do any damage to. People were finally left emotionally drained. Alice managed some sleep that night, and was even able to send Daji some feelings of love, and message that told him that she was on her own journey. And that this was the first step- to right a wrong she should had never committed. All the pain, all the unease and discomfort were her burden to bare. These were Alice's punishment, and a step closer to growing up. She would have to tap and dance, but if that was a price to pay, then so be it.

The fourth day, the town was as slow as Alice's psychic abilities were. Shops were open, but not even criminals had the ability to rob. People were generally slow and just drained of their empathy and ability to care. Most were still reeling from the year long amnesia and how it could have happened. Damaskian people would likely show up before the end of the week. Alice had sent a late message to Yan that she was going to do this, so they should be able to make it here and do whatever Yan needed them to. She was sure she'd be yelled at for reckless behavior, but this was an objective on her journey. First, Alice had to right this wrong. One of her friends from the town was even effected.

The Twilight Princess would only be here another day, but this dragged on so much she considered moving on early, but something held her back. It hit her like a brick that the Damaskians wouldn't be after her, particularly, but it was a chance to at least be near them. Or at the very least, be in the same town. Alice wasn't sure if Yan had betrayed her disguise to the Shadowguard, so she had to be very careful. Especially while her psychic energies recharged. She kept a careful vigil through the day, though appeared unguarded enough to the locals. When asked why she had chosen this town as a vacation spot- as to them it was nothing special- Alice replied that the cherry blossoms were very pretty this time of the year, and the quiet of the place let her enjoy them.

Reasonable enough, so it was eventually dropped, as Alice knew that they suspected her to be apart of what happened. Sure, she showed up to the funerals, but that was only suspicious now that the grieving process was going on. She guessed one more day, and then she would leave. It was strange for someone to show up, a strange amnesia to be lifted that night, and then that person to show up to as many funerals as possible. It wouldn't be weird to think she had something to do with it, but Alice just didn't seem to be that malicious to anyone that spoke with the young woman. She still caught outer thoughts without much of a filter, however she suspected she'd be with enough power and control tomorrow to shut those out.

Alice's last day came, and so the ideas and explainations leaked in. No doubt that they were just something to slowly placate the "masses", but it made for enough to kill the idea that a person had done something really weird to the people. Some kind of gas from the thing that had been rebuilt. An imaginary fox guy or girl fighting with a crazy duo. That sort of thing obviously can't happen. Right? Alice was glad that there were less angry and rage filled minds and more tired and accepting minds. They took in what was suggested and the Twilight Princess was able to relax. She recharged a lot faster since she was finally able to shut out all those minds. For the fifth day, Alice stayed in relative peace and quiet, within her room. Until around eleven came around, before the afternoon, and she had to leave the hotel.

Alice left as she had arrived, like a whisp that spoke and kept the town from tearing itself apart. Whatever the fate of that town was, it was now in their hands. Alice closed her eyes as she stood on the deck of the boat that would take her to East City, and wondered what it would be like. Then she turned and stared into the eyes of a punk- crazy hair, chains in his pockets, and the overall dumbass attitude that these punks took.

"Hey sweet thang," the punk growled, clearly with the mind set that Alice was intimidated with his appearance or whatever. A vein broke out just under Alice's bangs as the guy slammed a hand beside her on the rail. "You wanna go an' stay somewhere private? That sweet bod' of your's is just callin' me." He made a phone "sign" with his hands and wiggled it.

If this was the old Alice, she would have likely just blown this joker away and left via flight, but the impulse was resisted as she replied, "If you were man enough, you'd sweep me up in your arms. If you can't do that, then you might as well leave."

That got a chuckle from the punk, who moved his hand to Alice's arm. She once against resisted the urge to kill this son of a bitch and let him attempt to pull her from where she stood. Unfortunately for him, he seemed unable to even move Alice. She stood there with an unimpressed look on her face and asked, "You even trying?" Now a huge vein popped on this guy's head, but before he could do anything violent, his legs suddenly went together and he crumpled to the ground as though he'd been hit... well, where it hurts.

Alice saw that a tall woman stood behind the man, who bent down and pulled the guy up by the arm. Hr groaned in pain as the woman snapped, "You are under arrest for attempted molestation of a minor." Well, Alice was "technically" a minor if one went by age by time living. She allowed that to pass as she "went" weak at the knees as the woman smiled down at Alice. "Always brave until the end. Curious why he couldn't pick ya up, but," the woman placed cuffs on the guy, "I'll leave that for another day. I'm officer Barb. Lemme know if any other punks take a swing like that."

Alice nodded as the woman's partner came and took the moron away. Barb helped Alice to her feet and took her to a nearby table and got her a glass of water. "Have a sip, I'll stay here to help ya. I'll be on the lookout on the deck, though, so be careful." About ruffies, is what she would have said if they were in a private area. Due to being a literal Chaos Seed, however, such drugs would affect Alice for... all of two seconds before they'd be purged, unless they were made on a scale meant to affect hugely powerful beings.

Alice landed on East City without much issue after that, though Barb did give her a pepper spray. Now that Alice was off the boat, the Twilight Princess could have tossed it. But she knew that the cop meant well, so she slipped it away as she grabbed her only luggage, a duffel bag, and headed straight towards the closest Capsule Corp shop. The young Celestial had never been within, and she had picked a smaller one on purpose. Alice looked through the shop and picked a few interesting capsules, and the clerk was nice and sold her the items. Though there were a few looks, she didn't mind. Alice bowed and thanked the merchant before she left and hooked her way towards the hotels, and picked a small one. She snapped her fingers as she passed the security office and had them erase her from all the tapes. One of them was good with that after effects program.

Alice paid with cash zeni, and not credit zeni. While this made the desk head suspicious, she said that she had once lived with her parents, but had left them due to a disagreement. A "run away" if one willed. The Mori household was in ruins, and her grandfather had indeed had a lot of influence in the city in the past. The clerk understood, as she apologized for what had happened. It was well enough remembered that the particular had went mad with rage and had been put in a mental hospital. During the last real war, he had been turned into a cyborg and had died at the hands of some adventurous warriors. The clerk assumed that Alice had escaped the household before that and had just returned to East City. Alice asked that she not tell anyone about her, as that was precisely what had happened. The young man agreed, and gave Alice her key card.

The young Celestial finally collapsed on the bed and sighed contently. This would be the last relaxation that she got in a while. First Alice needed to fully recover her psychic energies before she met up with Gray. While the man would normally have been hard to find, she had already taken note of how his energy felt. He was still on Earth, so it was just a matter of pinpointing the young man. This would be a long journey, but it would also, hopefully, be rewarding.
