Dust rained down from the ceiling as the temple shook violently. The battle outside raged on between the two titans that had appeared out of nowhere, leaving the Scholars of the Lost seeking shelter inside of the library. The walls shuddered again as the combatants threw energy attacks with no mind for the innocent Keliouxians beneath them.

"We're all going to die!"

Trumpet swallowed hard. The screaming voice from somewhere behind him might be right. He clenched his teeth as he stood up tall and turned around, looking down on the panic-stricken faces of the once proud Keliouxian Scholars. Their fear was as real as the clash outside. It pained him to see such terror in a place of learning. He'd come here because Kelioux was a center of knowledge - a place to pursue something other than combat - and yet here were two people taking all of that and throwing it to the wind. He slammed his palm on the table angrily.

"That's enough! I'm putting an end to this!" he yelled, his voice echoing across the library. As if on cue, the corner of the room caved in, crushing several people that had been cowering behind some bookshelves. Trumpet started towards them, but already he felt their life forces extinguish. It only caused him more grief. With a roar he sprinted forward and scaled the pile of rubble in a couple nimble leaps, landing on the roof. His eyes scanned the sky, but amazingly the combatants had already moved out of the area. A chill ran down his spine as he realized the sheer speed they must possess to disappear so quickly. What could he possibly think he could do to stop such monsters?

He took a deep breath.

This is what heroes do... they use their strength in the name of the weak... they defend the defenseless.

Trumpet rose into the sky and flew towards the incredible powerlevels he could still feel up ahead. As he approached though, he sensed what had been the larger of the two diminish greatly. In an instant, the fight had become one-sided to the point that he had to assume the fight as nearly over already. He slowed his approach as the other fighter vanished from his mind's eye as well.

What's going on?

Below he saw craters from the battle, and standing between them was who he figured to be the winner of the epic battle. Steeling his nerves, the namekian flew down and landed behind the man. To draw his attention, he picked a handful of fist-sized rocks up and hurtled them forward with his telekinetic powers. "You're going to pay for what you've done to the library! There were innocent people there, and thanks to you they're gone! I can't forgive that!" he yelled with barely contained rage.

Ashes to ashes--dust to dust.

Vile.

In the end, everything returns back to the soil, doesn't it?

Odious

Juch's steps stopped as he took in the ruined front gate of the Academy. Smoke--not students--swarmed out from the entrance. It...it didn't look right, did it? That’s not what it's supposed to look like--not at all. It was decimated.

Atrocious

The broken stone, the bent steel, the gaping holes in the ground and in the walls--burnt petals, like scraps of paper, floated gently down onto the professor, into his open palm, replacing the train ticket that he had gripped so tightly on the way here. The time stamp on it had wrinkled as it joined the debris below.

Reprehensible

Juch left it behind. His form flew over the walls, now that the door had crumbled, and landed down. The craters left behind had chewed through not only the ground, but through the Library as well. What...just what happened here? How could things happen like this? He was too late. He had struggled against the tides of time for a good while now, but the android knew that time was fickle. The serenity of the Academy had mutated into a warzone, and the android only had lingering questions to keep him company.

Was it an outright attack? From what it looks like, it has to be. And questions needed answers. It seemed like he needed to search for someone. One as destructive and heinous as the marks left upon the Academy’s buildings. He needed to start looking now; he couldn’t save the damage that had already been done, but the story didn’t just end here, now did it? And it was his responsibility to find a satisfactory answer. Juch turned to move away from the scene, when the sudden landing of someone behind him caught his attention. He turned--only to find himself on the ground just a second later.

...what? The thrown rocks clattered as they hit the ground next to him. The marks on his face and on his torso--it seemed clearer where they came from. There was shouting, screaming--someone was saying words. Were they saying anything important? Juch’s hand gripped his fallen cane as he stood back up. All of this damage, and still the assailant’s work has yet to be completed, hm? People have perished--but still more could be saved were hidden beneath the rubble. Yet not even those who arrive on the scene could be spared, was that it? Well, Juch was going to put an end to this. He looked at the Naemkian, “You’re under arrest.”

His form blurred as he closed the already very short distance between the two of them. At this range, he would loath to let the criminal before him to get away. His arm shot out, darting out from beneath his overcoat like a snake. Even if he had to break every bone in the attacker’s body to stop him from dealing any more bloodshed, he’ll start with the pelvis. He’ll burrow his way through if he had to. In only a blink of an eye, it was the Keliouxian General who stood behind the Namekian. His right fist smashed downward.

His other hand raised his cane up, the air sizzling with latent energy. Sparks began to fly around the staff as the stick grew brighter and brighter. Whether or not his first blow connected or not, Juch did not remain idle. He’ll give chase if this sorry excuse started to run, but his palm would reach out against the Namekian's figure. He won’t get far anyways.

Another explosion must happen in the Academy. It was regrettable, but the android had better control than that. Everything was going to be contained, and from his end, he wasn’t going to simply haphazardly fire. Even by some means that he missed, his aim was angled downward. Only the ground would have to suffer further. No more, no more.

Through the thin veil of dust, Juch’s cane extended through, parting the smokescreen; its end now crackling, bursting full of ki and glowing like a furnace. Electricity danced gleefully all around as they pulled strands of his long silver hair up and away. He swung down. His cane transmitted his will as it aimed towards the Namekian's shoulder before ki erupted like a volcano. The crater below grew a little deeper as the blast was sent out from the sheer force.

He swung down again immediately, not giving the attacker even a millisecond of respite--he didn’t deserve any. The remainder of the stored ki released its disapproval towards the other shoulder. Juch’s strikes were fast, but the ki blast soared down even faster, carrying the weight of a judge’s gavel. The force of the attack forced the doctor up into the air from the push back, but gravity was not going to send him back down to the planet just yet. His right hand glowed with a soothing green as it was pulled back.

The cane withdrew, and his arm took over its duty. Reaching out, the swirling ki in his palm was quite evident. He shot straight down towards his enemy, with the green filling his vision before dissipating. Both the Namekian and his ki were the same color, yet they were still so, so different, "I will take you to the Grandmaster," Juch's voice maintained its calm monotone as it slithered towards the stranger, "And you will answer for your crimes."

Trumpet watched the rocks crashed into his target with hardly a reaction. An itch in the back of his mind urged him to dive to the side. When he came back to his feet he saw his opponent standing on a few feet away from him. A chill ran down his spine.

How can he move that fast?

In the blink of an eye, the warrior had unleashed a wave of energy that he feared would spell a premature end for him, but to his amazement some kind of funnel spread out around him, protecting him. The energy smashed into the funnel and was absorbed into his belt buckle harmlessly, but Trumpet knew he had come far too close to his own doom. As he saw his opponent preparing another attack, he threw his hands forward desperately, forming a thin blue barrier around his body. A series of energy attacks enveloped him, one after another. The barrier protected him, mostly, but it wasn't enough to mitigate everything his overzealous opponent threw his way.

The namekian dropped to one knee was the final tendrils of energy had faded from his opponent's last attack. "That was... intense," he said as he glanced up at the bright Keliouxian sun, collecting his energy. "Solar Flare!" Trumpet screamed, springing up straight and throwing his hands up near his head. The light around him bent and focused into an intense ball that almost instantly burst, sending super concentrated light beams in every direction.

Maybe this will buy me some time...

Light.

Where did the light come from? The Academy should have light, for studying through the night with candles flickering. But the attack on Kelioux's esteemed castle of knowledge took place during the night, didn't it? Where did the light come from...?

Juch shook his head. His silver hair flowed from side to side, as he stumbled backwards. His eyes were normally closed, yes, but that didn't stop the attack from penetrating his metal exterior and down into the very core of his being. With his cane by his side, at the very least he didn't fall down onto the slippery slopes that were the craters around him.

He let out a sigh. It was unfortunate, but the effect was only temporary. His visual sensors may not work, but not all his senses were impaired. The Namekian before him had yet to make another move, and seemed to be gasping for breath right now.

Juch walked forward. His gaze seemed to be clearing up, and the electronics within his systems rebooted to online. The fuzzy image of the Namekian grew more and more focused as the android closed the distance between them. He was still hanging on one knee.

Leaning forward, the android peered at his assailant with what seemed to be a newfound curiosity, "Hmm?" he exhaled out, drawing the phrase out much longer than it needed to be.

Suddenly, his arm shot out. Two powerful jabs rushed forth, aiming to embed themselves into the chest area of the Namekian, before he continued with aiming two slaps towards the green one in the face twice--one on each cheek, "Hello? Are you still with me?"

"Now, why don't you stop resisting, and we can have a nice, long chat? Tell me, why did you attack me after destroying the Academy? Was that not enough for you?"

Trumpet watched his opponent walk forward slowly. He breathed a small sigh of relief, happy for the breather. After that first onslaught, he needed a moment to get his bearings back together. As the man approached him, the namekian had another nagging feeling at the back of his mind. Even though his opponent was blinded, he walked a few feet to the side. His caution was rewarded when the man threw a series of punches at the empty air where he'd been standing only a moment ago.

With his hands on his knees, he breathed in and out until his heartrate had slowed down. He didn't know when he'd have another chance to catch his breath. Finally satisfied, he narrowed his eyes. "I'm not sure what game you're playing here, but I'm not the one that destroyed the library, you are!" he called, raising a hand to his face. He formed a circle with his thumb and index finger in front of his mouth and blew. A stream of green ki flowed through it, snaking its way to the ground and forming a soccer ball-sized orb.

With a slight grunt, he kicked the orb forward. It tore along the ground towards Juch, popping into the sky as it neared. The orb flattened and expanded to form a blanket that fell around the man to trap him. Just in case his opponent was resourceful enough to dodge his technique even while blind, he grabbed an small circle from his belt and pressed a button before tossing it at Juch's feet. It exploded in another bright flash of light to disorient the criminal.

Assuming he'd have thrown his opponent off even further, he closed his eyes and clenched his fist, forming a thin aura around his body until he'd raised his fighting power to it's maximum capacity. With a grin, he opened his eyes and prepared to attack again.

(Joining Trumpet's side) (Base PL: 523,618)

It was only moments after the terrible battle had ended, the clash that left a scar embedded deep in the Keliouxian soil and more importantly; upon the long standing academy. News segments covered the damage, the surviving accounts of those who narrowly escaped from the clutches of death. Perhaps most importantly was the question everyone had been trying to answer: Why had this happened? The mystery that surround this seemingly important question lit a certain buzz around the area.

Buzzing attracted curiosity. Curiosity attracted snooping. Snooping incited death.

Bulla had reached the top of a rather long set of stairs while dragging the lifeless, limp body of the now deceased Celestial, Azrael. Scrapes and gashes covered the body along with torn clothing and patches of skin that seemed to of been shredded off due to the dragging of the body across the debris littered ground. It was just a corpse at this point – one of the many that littered the vicinity. It would appear the collateral of fighting in such close proximity to the temple was high.

It was at that moment something had forcefully drawn the Half-Saiyan's attention despite her own intentions and plans. Violence birthed violence, and the fertile seeds discarded by the woman and the angel had already blossomed into budding potential. While Bulla had just gorged on a meal and reigned victorious, the sudden birth of chaos ignited another craving. The ever burning flame located on the upper right forearm of the teal haired woman was the only indication of who truly controlled the body.

Discarding the blonde corpse like one would discard a ragged doll in place for a new one, Bulla turned her full attention to the tug of battle that invaded her, and she took off toward it with a silent burst. Two beings, one Namekian and one Human were currently engaged. Her blue eyes trailed the green-skinned being for a moment and absorbed every attention to detail. His power was the lesser of the two.

The older human, however, proved to be an enigma. An accurate reading of his output could not be retrieved, however it had spiked to a high amount. Under different circumstances, Bulla would have pondered why this was. Under the current circumstances, she did not care. No matter the true depths of his power she would wade in his shallows until the prime opportunity presented itself where she could dive into his depths and gorge every last drop. Alas, she would have to get to that point before the gorging could begin.

Bulla ran toward the scene with determination in her blue eyes as she closed the distance between herself and the unsuspecting older man who had been marked as her first target. The Namekian would fall as well, eventually. It only took moments inside the body for the parasite within to gain a complete foothold on controlling the powers that this teen had at her disposal. Now it was time to put them to the test!

The moment the teal haired girl entered range of Juch, her body exploded in a radiant golden shower of energies, two tendrils of light cascaded toward the human but snaked upward before crashing into him. Like twin serpents playfully nipping at each other they soared until they gloated over the field. Suddenly they exploded in a brilliant blast that surround the entire area in a thick translucent shield. That would be the least of his worries at this moment for the newcomer had evolved into a beautiful butterfly with that swift move. Golden energy flickered off her skin in an upward sweep as it enveloped her body to the golden crown of spikey hair that sat atop her head. Banished was the teal hair now to be replaced by the telltale sign of a Super Saiyan.

Bulla continued on her trajectory and refused to stop to gawk at the transformation but instead hoped to exploit it to her advantage. Two golden globes manifest in the cupped palms and were suddenly thrust out toward Juch before they exploded into a dozen shards of dagger-like objects. In the same second Bulla dashed around to approach Juch from his right side and in doing so summoned two shadow orbs before allowing them to meet the same fate as the gold counterparts. In the midst of the storm consisting of light and darkness Bulla intruded and withdrew the First Blade to attempt delivery of multiple slashes on her targeted figure. After a moment of this her lithe figure sprung backward and landed in a crouching position. A feral and untamed look in her now green eyes as she lay the flat of the bone blade against the charred earth beneath her.

He had been watching her.

Damaskia had been watching her as far back as Quasar. She had appeared like a storm, bent on vengeance for her fallen mother and drove into a fight that shouldn’t have had any interruptions. She had teamed up with Beerus, and it wasn’t just the fact that she stood on the same plane of two almost gods (Beerus was still not at full power, and as much as Chaos sought it, he still fell short.) but how she stood there, and how she moved.

Rather than touch the gods, she touched chaos itself, a feit Damaskia had only seen in one other. Who was she? How did she have access to a chaos seed’s power? What had they missed?

It was a problem, one the state hoped to rectify, but once again Yan was the voice of reason. Just as he had gotten them to let Hayami run free for the sake of observation in her most natural state, so had he for Bulla. The times after Quasar were less interesting. She was a bounty hunter but not one of any real pristigue. She was a child still, a teenager that had yet to grab real footing on the world. Her foundation was not something she built but a person who had given themselves as her support.

Despite all her strength she was still terribly weak, a factor that had come to play today.

It was disappointing to say the least. Yan was already making preparations to retrieve her soul from hell for proper preening, when something strange happened. With Bulla fallen the once angel Azrael stood over her and leaked. The monkey distinctively felt Bulla’s soul leave that body, but as that substance filled into her orvices, Azrael fell and Bulla rose.

How fascinating. He sensed Bulla there, but she lacked two important traits. Her soul obviously, and the chaos seed. Any chaotic traces in her ki and energy had vanished, chasing its host to Other World. The new Bulla was not of his interest, but curiosity did kill the cat, with the promise that satisfaction would bring it back. He found himself lingering as the new Bulla dragged her former host away. To follow? To watch? To wait?

He was in the rubble of the once beautiful corner of the academy. He still wasn’t sure how all this happened considering Levana had sucked up most of the attack, transmuting it to become her own energy, but here we were, with the academy tore up, all its defensive runes be damned. What people will do for an entertain backdrop…

His decision was made for him as the scouter in his eye pinged on the most recent tracker he had placed on Juch’s person. Juch was far more interesting than a parasitic jelly. He started an absent walk towards him, his hands dipped into his pockets even as he felt the rise of ki in another. Strange. Juch wasn’t one to pick fights and it was not the original attacker. Perhaps someone was trying to make use of the chaos to loot the library. That would definitely get Juch’s panties in a bunch.

The power was weak so he was unconcerned and he wandered forward, his own presence masked less it scare someone. Apparently he was good at scaring people. His very presence heading towards this planet was enough to make people quiver. He was a threat in this world these days, how tricky.

He had begun to hum a tune when something changed. He saw the figure of Bulla Briefs blur into action. The direction she dragged poor Azrael was perpendicular to the current fight so as he saw her begin to rush, a wicked grin came to her face. Juch’s ping really had been the choice maker today. The energy that brushed through them to block out the rest of the world was no issue, well maybe a small one, but since he was already this close he ignored it to appear above the former chaos seed holder’s head just as his blade struck down upon his benefactor.

His aura erupted with suddenness, ice cold in a way that would likely make Trumpet tremble despite not being as close to it. With his fist clasped togethered he slammed them down towards Bulla’s head before turning his arms to complete another blow towards her face in a hooking motion.

”He,” was spoken though the word was barely a breath in his movements as his feet landed and his left fist tried to dig into her side, aiming for those Saiyan kidneys. His knee followed quickly in turn before he dipped low in attempts to deliver a low kick to send the girl into the air away from Juch.

”Is,” he continued, but he was already behind her flight. His fingers had elongated and sharped to create some ghoulish claws which he sought to cover in her blood. He swiped down before his elbow came back around hoping to find purchase against her spine, before he shoved his knee up there as well.

”Mine,” and it was accented with a heavy blow with both fists towards her neck, in hopes of slamming her back into the already destroyed ground.

He gave Juch a moment for the android to give his own response, letting out a small whistle, before he turned on him. ”And you!” he shouts. ”Just where do you get off trying to blow shit up without me?!”

Mm, was that how it was going to be?

Juch's taps against the Namekian did not touch skin as he had expected; instead, the deceiver didn't think to stop now. The android's vision blurred as a power surge began to overload his sensory systems, but he was quite prepared for that. He had a back up. Steam hissed out from underneath his hat as he shrugged off the lingering effects of the previous attack.

So, the Namekian was going to just keep lying then? Juch gave him a chance, yet the idiot didn't stop for a moment before resuming his assault, "Every breath you take, it's always 'Academy', 'Academy', 'Academy'," Juch exhaled through the nostrils as the opponent's green ki began to take form, "Yet what part of you is worthy of the Academy, hm?"

The sphere grew larger before it was kicked over to the professor; it flew up into the air before compressing out into some kind of net. The intent was obvious. Shaking his head, Juch's pushed his cane upwards into the air to catch the falling layer of ki. It tip made contact with the attack, and with a flick of his wrist, the cane rotated with incredible speed in the air with his arm as a pivot point.

The ki dispersed out as its potency weakened and weakened until it naturally wrapped around the end of his cane before it was absorbed altogether. A soft glow enveloped his walking stick once more as he looked back towards the terrorist, "There are people buried in the ruins here," Juch pointed as a scowl began to darken his features, "You prevent me from saving them--the morality of the scholar, where is it in you?"

He took a step forward.

"You attack the innocent, condemning with no shred of evidence or proof. On what basis do you accuse me, on whose authority did the law of the land fall into your hands? I have worked under the Grandmaster longer than you have been alive, boy; yet your audacity is a rarity to behold--the knowledge of the scholar, where is it in you?"

He took another step forward.

The flare of a shimmering aura stopped the professor in his tracks. His head tilted up at the golden flashing before his eyes. What was this now? The burst of power diverted his gaze over his shoulder, where another presence came barreling towards him. The colors had the elegance of a china shop--but the Saiyan in the center of that golden hue had the grace of a bull.

But even the color seemed to have a bite to them. They glittered in the moonlight as the Super Saiyan circled around the android, pelting out shards like they were the shattered remains of a mirror. Bad luck, some might say; light and dark fused together as Juch maintained his staff pointing upwards as he spun in place.

The winds picked up, but they didn't reach the interior of the dome that trapped him here. However, the professor had a cyclone of his own, and by the time daggers came near him, his motion shifted at least a portion of them off course. They bounced off others or simply went flying astray. The remainder Juch could contend better with, and his cane's movements blocked enough so that the shards became embedded into it.

His other hand, however, had to deal with the Saiyan charging in. She slashed forward, coming at him in a rather predictable manner. There was no precision in those slashes--it did her blade injustice. Each swing was heavy, attempting to cut him in half, and Juch used his palm to push the flat side of the blade--moving the weapon's trajectory either away from him, or halting the momentum enough to minimize damage. Again and again she charged towards him, and he did what he could against the heavy swings until the assassin withdrew from the fray, landing a small distance away.

Shallow breathing a gloved hand was held up to the moonlight. Cuts and tears all around, the fingers exposed within. Regardless, it was quite the onslaught. Juch took another glance at the girl. Well, it wasn't just the girl anymore, wasn't it? Hmph, well, well. The android exhaled, brushing off the dust that had gotten on his suit lapels as Yan slammed into the fray. The monkey seemed a little disappointed, and Juch answered the shouts with a more mellow tone, "I've been looking for you--you're the one that's always late. It was like this on Earth, it's the same now. Yet you blame me when the fireworks fly. Please take good care of her."

"And now you band together," the android tilted his head back at the Namekian, "Or are you going to deny that you know your accomplice here? Do you think that will solve your problems now? Your cowardice is apparent for all to see--the honor of a scholar, where is it in you?"

"Why do you fear going to the Grandmaster, hm? If you have done nothing wrong, why do you run, why do you fight? You will come with me," he looked back over to the Saiyan girl, "Both of you."

His cane suddenly flared up with energy, as it glowed once more. With the dome now hanging around them, any stray blasts should not be able to punish the remainder of the campus. The energy readings that the android took in confirmed that hypothesis. Well, good. That was one less thing to worry about now.

He swung--his cane, the bat; the ki blast, the ball. His will manifested with each swing, as a powerful blast of energy surged through the air at lightening speeds towards the Namekian. Juch will return his ki back to him, bit by bit. But in the professor's hands, the same ki was turned into a greater destructive force. Six blasts were shot out in total, one after the other as the android adjusted his aim after each swing. One blazed forward towards the green one's skull. One came nipping at the heels, ready to incinerate the legs. But the remainder was content with the center of mass, ready to slam into the chest over and over again until the Namekian was down for the count.

But it wasn't over yet. There was still some ki left remaining in his cane, and he turned back to gaze at the Super Saiyan. Juch didn't say anything, but lashed out with the final ki burst erupted out of his cane towards her, each one screaming for her blood. Six more rained down towards the girl. For every cut she used to try and obstruct him, he will return it ten fold, a hundred fold, a thousand fold.

He didn't want to do this. But they left him no choice.

RP Report: I really liked Trumpet’s first post. Having an opening post for a battle is always something I personally struggle with, but I thought he did a good job of it. I felt the emotion of his character on that post. I also thought Juch followed it up very well. The 2nd round though from both of you was lacking for me. It felt a little like it was forced from both of you.

Then the 3rd round came in. It felt like everyone picked up their game here and I liked the posts more in this round. I could feel what I would assume someone in Trumpets shoes would be feeling. I enjoyed Bebi’s post and the description. I like how Yan found the fight and got involved. Also enjoy how Juch was the professor trying to get the bad kids to go to the principal’s office.

Overall Juch is going to pull the RP Reward. With 3 from everyone next round it will be more interesting for sure.

Juch Took: 4 Telekinesis, DR 1 Solar Flare (Already had Crit), Block vs Eclipse Assault (DR 4), Flame Shield (DR 2) (Crit with Burn)

Trumpet Took: Galactic Blow (DR 6.5), Ki Shockwave (DR 5.5) (No Crit), Hell Flash (DR 5.5)
*Note on Barrier vs Charged Galactic Blow. Galactic Blow is listed as Unblockable and Barrier states that it Blocks. Also being that it is Charged it would burn the Barrier. Discussed with Junior to get a second opinion and he agreed. If you want to discuss I am happy to listen as this is one of those unique situations that battles sometimes create.*

Bebi Took: Nothing

Yan Took: Nothing

Damage Taken:
Juch: 7.85% (Is Burnt)
Trumpet: 61.75%
Bebi: 0%
Yan: 0%

Questions hit me up. If I missed something ask, I hate to say it, but I am not perfect.

The barrier that Bulla had erected from her own energies signaled something; an intruder. Something did not add up, however. There was no energy to be felt from the penetration spot, but only someone who commanded a considerable power would be capable of breaking through. As puzzling as it may have been, the invader revealed himself not even a moment later. He descended upon the half-Saiyan as she spun her body around and pressed her back firmly against the ground. The blazing aura that surround her form thickened at the initial impact point to negate the attack. Once more this invader attacked, but this time he broke through the barrier partially to introduce his fist.

Bulla grimaced and immediately became entrapped in a storm of calculated punches and kicks from the ally of the older man before being sent crashing into the destroyed ground. The Saiyan body ached and held visible bruising from the physicals but would not be kept down. In the same haste it took to be knocked down she arose with both fists clenched – the First Blade gripped firmly and ready to be used at a moments notice.

In the lull of the moment her emerald eyes took in the scene and revealed it for what it truly was. Beset on enemies by all sides; she was the lone fighter against the strength of an army packaged into several individuals. Despite being outnumbered her heart did not race, but instead beat at the steady pace it always did as it was steadied by the Curse that fueled her.

Thud...thud...thud

It's pace refused to excel when Juch, as the older man was obviousled named, rose his cane to the sky and expelled potent blasts of energy that surged toward herself and the Namekian – in perhaps the most selfless move the Super Saiyan could ever accomplish, she rushed toward Juch and thrust the ancient bone up high. Like a metallic object in a lightning storm it drew all of the blasts and prevented them from striking anybody on the field.

Bulla continued on her war path with the golden aura trailing her slightly as she closed the distance. Before her form could collide into Juch, she pressed her heel firmly into the dirt and launched herself forward. Shadow energy manifest like an explosion around her left fist as she aimed it center for the “mans” solar plexus. Bulla pulled back in a fashion similar to her last round of attacks – except she truly didn't. Her feet hit the ground but a moment that was not long enough to leave an imprint of her presence there. She was off with enough speed to potentially catch her opponent off-guard as she made a sweeping motion to his side and expelled a blast of dark crimson energy from her exposed palm, threatening to engulf Juch from his head to shoulders.

As soon as Trumpet had finished powering up, he prepared to attack only to stop in stunned silence. Another fighter - a girl with blue hair - arrived like a hurricane. She immediately beset his opponent with a flurry of attacks that were so fast his eyes could hardly keep up. He was floored even further when another fighter - this one with a familiar face - appeared on the scene. Yan Cass threw himself into the fray, fighting like an animal just as he had when they met on Kanassa. Trumpet watched it all unfold in stunned silence, barely noticing that his original foe had recovered from his disorientation and unleashed hell on the battlefield.

The namekian prepared himself to try and dodge the flurry of blasts that Juch released, but the blue-haired girl, now sporting yellow hair, rushed the man, absorbing the entirety of the wave with her sword before launching into her own attack. Trumpet clenched his teeth. He was officially out of his league, he realized.

What am I even doing here?

His eyes moved from the two close combatants to the monkey, Yan Cass.

Better yet... what is he doing here? Who is on my side?

The namekian glanced at his original foe again. He was sure of one thing at least - that was the man that had destroyed the library. He had to pay. He didn't want to get swallowed up in the madness that was breaking out between him and the girl, but he did snap his fingers, forming a tiny orb of ki between his thumb and index finger. "This should slow him down..." he muttered, flicking the almost invisible orb towards Juch before turning his attention back on Yan. If the older man was his enemy, and the girl was fighting him then that made her an ally. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend... Does that mean my enemy's friend is also my enemy?" With a sigh, Trumpet reached into his own mind.

Drak... I'm going to need you for this...

In response, an incredible surge of energy swept through his body in an instant. His muscles bulged and his pupils dilated as veins stood out all over his taunt skin. He had grown much stronger since he last saw Yan on Kanassa, but he had no doubt the man still far outclassed him. "I will do what I must..." he whispered to himself. The namekian launched himself into Yan to take him head on.

Excuse me, Yan let out, cutting off the android’s dramatic speech without a care in the world. It wasn’t like the girl was listening to Juch anyway. There was another guy too, wasn’t there? Well, it didn’t matter. Yan’s point was much more important than Juch’s lecturing of the battle at hand.

”I do believe the incident on Earth left you unconscious in a collapsing building,” he says, giving the android a look with narrowed eyes. If Yan was late, than Earth should be the example that made Juch wait.

Of course, in the heat of this kind of battle, such arguments shouldn’t be made, but that was a testament to Yan’s character. His former benefactor had thrown a powerful attack regardless, and said powerful attack had be reduced to nothing. To Yan, it felt like the perfect time to be arguing. No one was really making any sways in the battle thus far.

Of course, this all changed when the ghoul of a girl ignored him and once more tried to attack Juch. See! Yan’s point hadn’t gotten clear across when he was beating on her, there was no way she was going to be listening to any long drawn out expose on her crimes against Kelioux. The monkey rolled his eyes, but before he could interject, a green blur of energy was rising to his left.

Yan would be the first to admit he hadn’t noticed Trumpet. He had realized there was another fighter, but the grace in which Juch handled the Namekian, compared to the vicious assault Bulla unleashed, made it so he didn’t register him as a threat. This could have proved a fatal mistake, but it was clear Yan was not taking this battle seriously at all what’s so ever. If this proved to be consequential, well that was when things got fun!

It wasn’t the gigantic Namekian he had faced on Kanassa, but with his head clear, though a bit in the clouds, Yan quickly recognized him this time. Yet again, it was not Perrin, which was both a relief and a disappointment. The question of what Trumpet was doing there was certainly prominent, and maybe if he hadn’t cut Juch off he would have realized the android thought the Namekian was an accomplice of Bulla, or Azrael, or whoever. Yan had seen the fight though, watched over it, and Not Perrin hadn’t been anywhere near it. The Namekian didn’t seem to be in leagues with the hunter at all, but here he was diving in head first to attack the monkey again without any care for sanity or rationel.

For the first time in a long time, this fight was not Yan’s fault!

The idea of that buzzed in his head with surprise, but fortunately for him Trumpet was rushing headlong into him and instincts took over. He was a melee fighter at heart, even if his strength and toughness argued with that tactic. Years of being beaten down made his instincts for close combat quite sharp. Though he was still thinking about Bulla.

Both of Yan’s hands rose. One held straight out to the rushing Trumpet while the other pointed at the new Bulla Briefs. Trumpet almost reached him, in almost a full lunge, when three energy blasts shot out towards his body to halt his progression and hopefully knock him back. At the same time from the monkey’s other hand, three more blasts shot out towards Bulla.

”Didn’t the Order teach you to think before you act?” he asks, with the smallest of head tilts.

With a wicked smile, he then shot three more blast at each before kicking some dirt up at Trumpet and rushing the woman who still seemed to be targeting his ex husband. His aim was to take her down by the throat.

Yan's voice cut through Juch's words--the monkey had a sharp tongue of his own, but the professor stepped away from the verbal edge unscathed and unperturbed. Whatever emotion that the older man had packaged up with his words to the Namekian's incessant yapping seemed to have disappeared altogether--and a good cheer returned to the android's features. The incident on Earth did end up like the way Yan had described. However, that didn't seem to bother Juch at all as he shook his head, "Well, you're here now, aren't you? Better late than never."

Because while opportunity waited for no one, the situation on Earth and the situation here was completely different. However, Juch didn't attempt to embellish on those thoughts, "I'm counting on you to drag my unconscious body away from here as well--"

His words didn't continue. Another jolt of electricity pulsed through his figure instead, coming from seemingly out of nowhere. His sensors registered the trace of ki, but he couldn't avoid it until it was too late. He stumbled a bit, but his cane stabbed into the earth below to stabilize himself. He exhaled--that was annoying. He didn't know where it came from, but his systems needed a bit of time to adjust back to its peak functions. And it wasn't just that as well; the exchange with the Saiyan had left his exterior a little worse for wear. It was unfortunate, but he'll have to take it in stride.

The absorbed ki in his cane now fully expelled, it returned back to its dull hue. So, the Super Saiyan had the heart to stop his little attack against both herself as well as the Namekian, hm? Well, the android did not witness the battle at the Academy beforehand, but her appearance and her intention to maim him in coordination with the Namekian could not simply be happenstance, could it? Not with that sort of dedication to his health. The one who ambushed him first--he didn't respond at all to Juch's inquiries. It looks like despite all his claims for justice, they were nothing more than just excuses. He didn't actually care about anything else other than an opportunity for fisticuffs.

And here she comes again. That blade of hers was something else, wasn't it? She charged towards him, rampaging on the already devastated ground with her intentions clear. Truly like a bull. Was she just going to ram into him and just try and skewer her blade through his jade suit like a shish kebab? Surely it wasn't that obvious right? As her form closed the distance, the android's sensors processed the various parameters that surrounded her movements. Velocity, acceleration, air resistance--a three dimensional model began to form of her movements within milliseconds.

Juch jumped back, lending him some initial speed against his opponent's momentum. The golden haired girl was now getting dangerously close--Juch matched her sudden spurt of speed with a burst of his own. However, instead of moving to the side immediately, he dashed backwards, using his legs to push away from the incoming Saiyan while keeping his front to her; thus, whatever distance that she had closed earlier had been opened up once more and, more importantly, his center of mass shifting away from the crackling energy that danced on her knuckles. Maneuvering from here would be much easier. Using his boost in momentum, the android swerved out of the way, dashing to her right and thus increasing the distance her arm would have to travel to reach him even further.

With her speed running out of gas, the Saiyan stopped on the ground for the briefest of moments while Juch continued to move away from her, defying gravity and only allowing wind resistance to slow him down and not the soil below. She sped towards him again, and this time, she caught up with him, moving to his side. They were now a good distance away from the Namekian and Yan's scuffle, and now Juch found himself sandwiched in the middle. A massive blast flooded from her hand, and Juch's arm and cane rose up to meet the occasion, pushing against the blast as best he could. The detonation was loud. The explosion scorched his overcoat. Smoke billowed out as the android landed back down on the ground, looking a little worse for wear.

The whirl of gears turning sounded from the android's hunched figure, but as he stood up, it was evident that it wasn't coming from within his body. His pocket watch was reacting; the hour, minute, and second hands all spinning wildly out of control. Glowing Lost hieroglyphs began to made their presence know on its cover as the life forces of both the Namekian and the Saiyan were being tugged at. With a small smile, Juch suddenly ducked back down to reveal the ki blasts that Yan had shot towards her. He wasn't going to be an obstacle for the Monkey's hard work, no, not at all.

Juch began to move to the other direction, towards the Namekian instead and away from the Saiyan. His own two hands were aglow with potent energy as well. Opening his palms wide, he also fired simultaneously. With his left pointing towards the green eyes and his right pointing towards the green skin, the professor sought to intensify that color even further with his ki. With Yan dashing towards the Saiyan, he had a clear shot of both of them from his position. Six green ki blasts shot out towards each of them, totaling another dozen in total. Despite the initial salvo being stopped by the Saiyan, Juch remained undeterred.

Go on, dance.

They talked. They bickered back and forth. Their warm breath expelled into the sphere that entrapped the four of them and only deemed to make the self-installed cage more insufferable. Bulla understood their meanings even if she not aware of the situations in which they spoke – save for the current predicament. This... this was something she was fully comfortable with.

Battle – the sweet, sweet accumulation that climaxed in the ultimate form of pleasure: Death.

Bulla set her gaze upon the monkey who chucked small blasts of energy out toward herself and the Namekian, half a dozen intended to be gifted upon the two. There was a delay in the delivery of both which allowed Bulla plenty of time to formulate a plot. As the first three sped toward her she retaliated by extending both hands outward with both palms exposed, and she caught two of the energy blasts in her hands and absorbed the energy with ease. The final one nearly collided against her face before she swiped it from the air with a flawless catch to feed Yan's own power into hers.

Coming at her equally as fast and powerful was the second set, which collided against the Super Saiyan's intense golden aura to cause minimal harm to her. Following the trio of blasts was the monkey who had fired them off at her, coming in for a second round of physical exchanges. Far be it from her to deny such an invitation, which she gladly accepted by matching the speed in which he came at her – in reverse.

As the two prepared to engage, a surge of energy drew the Saiyan's attention back toward the older man. He amassed another rain of energy identical to the one he had summoned previously. There was not enough time to deal with both of these men! Bulla grunted and surged with energy that send a spike of power surging in the area that diminished the blasts from Juch heavily.

He would have to wait. Bulla turned her attention back to the monkey who had nearly caught up to her by now. The two battles had caused destruction on a scale that absolutely wrecked the natural world in the form of charred battlements and the ground cratered with wounds they would never recover from. As sad as that fact did not make Bulla, she saw opportunity in the wounds of the earth below.

Not so much as a motion was required but Bulla threw her hand forward for dramatics and propelled a boulder from it's resting place toward Yan's face. She sent another jagged rock toward the encroaching enemy and then followed it up with yet another two of the more intimidating rocks she could produce with the telekinetic powers.

As he bore down on Yan Cass, the man known as "Monkey" raised his hand towards him in an all too obvious gesture. Trumpet stopped and raised his own hands, forming an energy barrier in front of him that mostly mitigated the incoming energy blasts. His arms whipped out in rapid succession, sending the next group hurtling into space.

That familiar tickle in the back of his mind made him turn his head towards his original foe. Another set of blasts dissipated over his shield, but he knew it wouldn't hold. The namekian spread his arms out wide and clapped them together with such force that the remaining energy balls were disrupted by the sound wave, leaving the skies clear as the girl and Yan engaged.

How long can I defend myself against these monsters?

With the Monkey Cass's attention diverted to his ally, Trumpet turned his towards Juch. He was the one that had destroyed the library. He was the one responsible for the lives lost in that senseless bout. It might have been suicide to confront the man in the first place, but there was no turning back now.

I don't care how strong he is... I can't let that terrible deed go unpunished. I'm done being helpless!

The namekian's aura flarred around him as he shot forward, rocketing towards the bespectacled man. "You will pay for what you've done! I'll make sure of it!" he roared over the deafening sound of the blows being exchanged between the other two combatants.

Juch’s first words were enough to bring a smile to Yan’s face but it only widened as he continued. Oh, he could do that, as long as it wasn’t his body needing dragged about. So far the New Bulla Briefs had not done much new destruction to the place, and Juch’s attacks had been carefully aimed to strike them down in already marred places of the academy. As a scholar and General of Kelioux, he knew better than to let things get out of hand. He would need to be pushed much further than all this, and if he was...well, he probably wouldn’t be so easily deterred as he had been thus far.

For whatever reason this battle had started, someone had made a fatal flaw in targeting Juch. The cold hearted android was not in this for games or lust. He wasn’t vindictive, he was calculating. He had chosen to accept this battle and now it was his to control. Bulla, Trumpet, even Yan were all just pieces on the board now, and the monkey was anxious to see them played. Was he a knight today over a pawn? Time would tell.

Such thoughts were interrupted by a boulder slamming into his face. The vision came in a flash and then it was gone and his rush shifted him just enough to the side that the rock swished past him. He could feel the telekinetic energy like sparks around him and his aura rose to meet it. He was already moving so as the next rock came he was able to outstep that as well, such big attacks at this range felt quite slow, but then his front foot planted and her next two rocks were met by a telekinetic push followed by a larger bolder crushing through them in a hook to at least knock them completely off target if not out of the way entirely.

He didn’t really like telekinesis. The crunch of boulders on bone was so much less satisfying than touching someone up close. As soon as the rocks collided he was breaking through them, both fists blazing with ki. He aimed the first one wildly to her skull before he pushed in further, and aimed another explosive punch into her body, one after another. The air rippled with explosive ki and still he would not let much distance cross between them.

”It seems like there’s some misunderstanding,” he offers her quietly, keeping his wide grin as another explosive punch reached under her ribs. With Not Perrin somewhat on his mind now, he was able to hear the Namekian’s idiotic words. ”But that’s okay,” he continued, this time pressing in with a harsh uppercut that crackled with a glove of ki two times his normal hand. ”That means we can play longer.”

Was it a racing heartbeat that pounded as pain and excitement coursed through the body? Or was it the imposing drumbeats of the wicked that tugged at the strings of life? The engravings on Juch's chained pocket watch glowed a little brighter, pumping light through the markings like they were veins of some mechanical beast. Tick, tock, tick, tock--there was only so much time left. What will happen when the seconds run out, and the sands of the hourglass stop flowing? The clock is ticking.

Tick.

Tock.

With a heavy sigh, Juch's cigar case clasped shut. He had borne witness to better concerts. The acoustic dissonance was trying to burrow itself beneath his skin; what with the thunderous song orchestrated by the Namekian over yonder and the Super Saiyan dancing away to her own tune, trying to overpower the ki blasts that he had offered them. Hm, hm, what trying times these days were.

Yan had continued on his path, unfazed at the sight of their onslaught fading away to obscurity. Instead, the monkey had headed straight for the mysterious girl. The planet's flesh had yielded to their barbaric ways, yet it still must offer more. But it will recover. Kelioux had triumphed through worse. And with the energy field humming around them, all this destruction can still be contained. Yet through all of this nonsense, another waltz was forming--boulders began to dot the skies as red and gold collided. Juch exhaled. Power began to ramp up from within him, as his systems allowed his full capacity to flow through his interior. Battery performance be damned--performance was what he deemed necessary at this stage. A sharp click of his lighter had the android expecting flames to flare towards the end of his cigar, yet it was a fiery passion that came rampaging towards him instead.

"Hm?"

The Namekian continued to throw all sense of self preservation out the window. Muscles and veins alike protruded out like feathers on a peacock as another howl rumbled out from the green one's vocal chords. Was there ever such lunacy in Guru's people before? Juch regarded the rush towards him with little more than a blank stare. It was almost as if he short circuited at the sight.

Of course he didn't.

But it certainly felt like it.

"Huh?"

The doctor's expression devolved to a look of disbelief as he turned on his heel, pushing away from his initial position. A plume of dust burst from the ground as his speed skyrocketed from nothing as he sidestepped the pounce that the enemy attempted to ensnare him with. His shoes touched down on the scarred soil, skidding to a halt as the android chose to stick with his lighter after all. A wreath of smoke surrounded his head as he stared down the Namekian who had attempted to charge him earlier, "Can't you find something else to say besides that one thing over and over again? Honestly..."

He trailed off as his gloved hand brushed against his closed eyelids, "It's boring me to the point of tears."

The wait for something more substantial from the Namekian yielded little more than utter disappointment. This was a complete and utter failure to engage on a basic, fundamental level. It was like Juch's words went in one ear and out the other. The temptation was there--to tap on that bald dome of his to see if there was anything lurking in there, or if it rang as hollow as the rubbish that he continued to spew out. Maybe he's utterly convinced that Juch was the one who did destroy this entire place--somehow. What must it be like, in that funny little mind of his? Everything must be so simple in there.

Then he opened his eyes.

There wasn't anything there. No iris, no pupil, no whites--nothing. From within the eye sockets, it was as devoid as the deep vacuum of space itself. But hark, was that a flicker from within? Perhaps so, but it instantly boiled over to fill the void until green ki began to overflow. Three rapid bursts blasted from each eye towards the Namekian. The first set came spiraling towards the chest, ready to knock him down for good. The subsequent beams that fired out twirled through the air, their paths twisting around each other until their movements was more akin to a drill ready to knock some sense back into that empty head of his. And the final attacks aimed lower, charging towards each kneecap like the heavy swing of a heavy club.

There was no reasoning with someone like that, was there? Juch has patience, but it wasn't readily available for everyone.

He's... so fast.

Just as he'd reached his target, the man had seemingly vanished from sight only to rematerialize just a short distance away. The move looked effortless, as if he'd only sidestepped, and yet his eyes hadn't even been able to keep up.

Where do these people come from?

The namekian's senses were quickly forced to refocus. The man seemed uninterested in trading blows with him, but he definitely had gotten the attention he'd been looking for. Rather than ignore him and move back to the blonde haired girl that had mysteriously decided to help him, the man's face was clearly looking at him, even if his eyes were shut.

Wait... his eyes are shut? Solar Flare should have worn off by now...

The answer to his unspoken question came soon enough. The man lifted his eyelids to reveal... nothing. There was empty space behind them. An image of his friend Vlad lying on a workbench with his eye modules removed flashed through his head. The truth hit him just as quickly as the beam from the android's eye sockets. The energy struck his aura and washed over it like a wave of pure fire. It all came so swiftly that he blinked in surprise. The namekian's natural fighting instincts took over as he threw his hands up in a cross before him and dropped to one knee to make a smaller target, blocking the next two energy beams.

Guru always said bad things came in threes...

Trumpet barred his fangs as he dropped his arms. He felt like an idiot for not realizing his opponent was machine much sooner. This android must have been far more advanced than Vlad. Everything about his movements looked completely normal to him - he displayed none of the ticks that his friend did. If he was an android... was it even possible that he'd been one of the fighters that he'd sensed earlier?

The namekian shook his head and sprinted towards his opponent. Things had progressed much too far to be doubting himself now. He threw his arms forward and like snakes they raced across the short distance separating him from his target. The twin boas surrounded the android before tightening their coils to constrict him. If he was going to go down, he was determined to buy the girl time.

The First Curse came to life with the soft ebbing of blood red energy that swam through the stolen teenager's veins, gathering at the eternal scar that marred the upper right forearm of Bulla. It decided to become an assistance at this point by offering more than the unsatiable thirst for blood. As was seemingly the Curse's constant reminder, the blood that flow in her body burnt and stung the insides of her veins. This searing pain could never be mitigated or brushed away because it was a reminder that there was only one cure.

Bulla ducked low to avoid the first attack launched by Yan while still moving along the rubble ruined ground. As she did the flicking energy around Yan's fist brushed against her. Potent.. powerful. The waft of energy was equally alluring as a hot plate of food in front of a famished human; she wanted more. The golden haired girl pressed the upper half of her foot into the ground briefly before launching herself from the reach of Yan's second attack, and quickly brought her arms in an “X” formation across her chest to attempt and block another incoming attack.

A flurry of ki emblazoned gloves caught the teenager with a nasty uppercut that broke through her defenses to send her flying from the impact point on her chin. Bulla soared through the air and crashed into the ground hard enough to create a body-shaped crater on the battle pocked environment. Spittle and blood trailed down her chin for a moment before being smeared across the Mark as she wiped it away. The burning acid in her veins propelled her to rise and continue the fight, no matter how dire it may have looked. There was always more power, more reserves to tap into – there was more within this Saiyan body that could be extracted to the surface. Now to only withdraw it...

The golden light around Bulla flickered for a moment before vanishing complete to leave her bare against the dark scene around the quartet. Immediately following to deceased aura was the golden sphere that trapped them all within it's confines. It flickered in the sky multiple times before exploding in a white gold rain of fractured slices that fell into Yan Cass and erupted in a cloud that would constrict him momentarily. Battered and bruised with the battle-torn clothing that adorned the petite, stolen frame, Bulla smirked as her emerald gaze turned to Yan Cass.

The Cosmic Emperor
Joining Trumpet and Bebi?
Keen crimson eyes watched the battle from a distance. He was attracted by the thick concentration of Ki in the area. There were impressive powers at play and that alone was enough to stir his curiosity. But when he actually came to see who was responsible is interest only grew.

There were some unfamiliar faces, like the Namekian and scholarly gentlemen, but there were a couple he recognized. Chaos thumbed his chin as he watched the conflict. In fact he recognized the Ki signatures before he ever saw their physical forms, for he was quite intimate with the other two. There was Yan Cass, a man he had encountered a few times, a man he had gathered valuable information from.

Then, there was the Briefs girl. His eyes narrowed around the female figure. Oh yeah, that was her. The bitch who had interfered with Empire business and ended Tarble’s life. As he watch his fingers curled into tight fists.

But as he watched the fight heat up he began to sense something off with the female. She moved different than before. And her Ki...it was somehow different but only in the faintest, nearly imperceivable way. Even so, there was no mistaking the blue haired female.

He began to tap his fingers, tension rising as the battle raged on. It appeared that Bulla was there with the Namekian and Yan was there with the other fellow. Normally he would simply enjoy the show of immense powers. But with her here...if Yan or the other guy happened to kill her before she could be properly held for her crimes…

No.

Chaos shot to his feet.

Bulla Briefs would answer for her crimes and then her buddy Beerus would follow. But that punishment was for the Cosmic Empire to dish out and none else. He thought on what to do for a moment longer with a frown forming. Chaos had no desire to interfere with Yan’s business but this was beyond their acquaintanceship. He would retrieve the Briefs girl and she would stand trial before Prince Vegeta himself.

He whispered an apology to nobody and his aura flared around him. The ground collapsed under the pressure of his Ki unbound with Chaos standing in the middle of the concentric craters. Black clouds appeared from seeming nothingness in response to the gathering of so much energy and with a flash of yellow lightning the Cosmic Emperor entered his transformed state. His skin and armor were black as his Ki and indistinguishable from the flowing flame of his Ki around him, as if his entire body were made out of energy.

Without effort he summoned a portal to his treasury and retrieved a small green seed. He knelt down and shoved it into the cracked ground with his thumb, all the while keeping his eyes focused on the battle raging in the distance. He pulled his thumb from the ground and in the same second a green humanoid monster exploded from the dirt. Chaos paid it no mind, instead focusing on the powerlevels of the combatants. After thinking on it for a moment he realized the Namekian was little threat and he pointed the ugly creature towards the gentlemen helping Yan.

The beast howled at the cloud filled sky before rushing towards the fight like a rabies infected hound. It fired off blasts as it skittered towards battle. A couple careened harmlessly into the distance but a handful went towards Yan and Juch. Chaos shook his head as he watched the creature close in on Juch and leap at him with its claws extended.

Expecting the Saibamen to provide some distraction Chaos prepared his move. With both hands raised and palms flat he conjured twin Ki disks. The blades spun at dizzying speeds, even for Chaos, and the air whistled in protest to the unnatural objects existence. Frowning, he set his sights on the biggest threat to him taking Bulla back alive. With a simple flick of his index fingers the Kienzens erupted towards Yan, twisting end over end as they went in helical pattern intended to cut off any obvious escape routes.

As the two disks careened towards their destiny Chaos clapped his hands together and gathered his energy. He focused on his growing Ki and began to mold it, but all the while he kept his senses locked on Yan. Timing was everything.

In time with the first Kienzen slipping over the other to claim a chunk of Yan’s flesh, Chaos moved. The cratered ground was demolished beneath his feet as he sprung towards battle. His right hand hung out wide as he went. All the while he funneled a massive concentration of Ki to that fist and as Yan dealt with the Kienzen Chaos streaked across the battlefield, past Bulla and Juch, leaving a thick trench in his wake.

He cocked his fist and howled madly as he came within striking distance. Then, he struck.

His right hand came screaming around in a haymaker aimed for Yan’s heart. He nearly regretted doing this to a man he had considered an asset and maybe even a comrade in some ways. But this was about justice. A deafening roar rumbled across the battlefield with enough force to take unprepared men off their feet as a black serpent made of the Emperor’s dark energy manifested, threatening to punch a clean hole through Yan’s chest.

As the attack completed and his feet touched the ground he chanced a glance over his shoulder at his target. Without waiting to see the results of his attack he addressed her.

Bulla Briefs-- you escaped judgement once. It will not happen again.” His eyes flicked over the other two warriors before returning his attention to wherever he felt Yan’s energy. Speaking loud enough for all to hear, he continued. “The rest of you, all of you, are free to leave this place. That woman belongs to the Cosmic Empire now. Whatever business you had with her is irrelevant now. Leave his place and leave her to her fate!

A part of him hoped Yan survived but business had no place for feelings. He had no such reservations about killing the others, Juch and Trumpet, though. He’d kill everybody if he had to and he’d do so with a smile, so long as Bulla was drug off to her final judgement by his hand.

New Bulla didn’t answer him. She moved swiftly before taking up a guard that he smashed to pieces in an instant. He felt her flesh against his fists and the sting that it carried with it, but more importantly was the look in her eyes. It wasn’t the look the original Bulla carried. She had been a hunter yes, and excitement had welled for such a challenge, but she didn’t hunger for it the way this creature did. It was starving. Even after such a glorious feast, its stomach was aching and each attack just served to draw it closer. It wanted to be hit. It wanted to hit. It lived for this.

For Yan it was just another fight, one he would probably enjoy quite a bit judging from the way her flesh felt. His strength was pushing into her hardened body with resistance. She would be a good opponent. In time, she might even spark the hunger in Yan, but right now, this moment, it meant nothing. He didn’t care if he lived or died, or even made some kind of impact. He was not hungry yet. She hadn’t earned it.

He had felt her ki only a little as he punched her and her aura danced across him. It was nothing. She was nothing. He needed a thrill, a challenge, and so far she was not providing it. She didn’t speak either, making him wonder more about how the creature functioned. Its words to Bulla were harsh and childish, if the child was in the exorcist, but it knew how to battle. It knew how to use technique and strategy. It was fascinating.

As the field above them cracked open, and the creature smirked, Yan found himself frowning however. What a petty child. She slowed him and she thought she had gotten the upper hand. It was pathetic and desperate, but lucky for her allies seemed to be jumping up under false pretenses every which way.

He felt it. Chaos was like an unchained dog barking its head off in the distance. No matter how loud you played music to push it out you could still hear its annoying yelps disturbing every note. The clouds gathered for him. Lightning and thunder gave new volume. The energy was more than Yan had seen personally, but not much more than the fight on Quasar. Such a silly man, had he not gotten stronger after such a loss?

His aura was absolutely impossible not to notice however, and Yan’s gaze flickered in its direction, logic passing through his thoughts in an instant. Bulla Briefs had interfered with Chaos’ fight on Quasar. Bulla Briefs was here...kind of. It was impossibly stupid, childish reasoning. He saw that fight too, watched it from a distance with many others from Damaskia. Bulla Briefs had dove in after her uncle. She fought only her uncle. If Chaos blamed her for his defeat he was admitting he could only win with Tarble’s help. Wasn’t he better than that? Hadn’t Yan thought him better than that?

He quite liked Chaos after all. They had had their intimacy much to the internal protest of some of his allies. He could already feel Juch’s disapproval of the man who represented an Empire that, teamed with the Saiyans, had proven detrimental pesks to everything he had wanted to accomplish. Sure, the Cosmic Empire had helped Juno once, but that was part of the problem. It used its riches and its influence to push its way into anything and everything it wanted.

Yan hadn’t held it against Chaos. He probably should have considering the man was emperor and all that, but what good to him was judging a man by his people or his kingdom? That was the opposite of everything Yan stood for. He wanted to see the individuality in people. He wanted to see the hidden crevasses and touch the places you could only reach when you were up close. That’s what he had done with Chaos, for Chaos. He had forced him to be a man. Not a monster, not a beast, or a ruler. He had made him a person.

But that obviously didn’t fucking matter one fucking bit.

A smaller energy had popped up next to Chaos, running ahead of him with a reckless abandon. It threw its energy blasts and they smacked Yan in the leg and shoulder making him scowl in annoyance, especially as the little beast went after Juch. Why the hell was everyone bent on attacking Juch today!? What had Yan missed? Did the emotionless android actually do something to earn the ire of this many people or were they all just imbeciles who saw no harm in attacking an old man who’s power they could not even surmise?

Juch wasn’t some large power to overcome originally. He was a ki-less android in the form of an old man, wearing the uniform of a Keliouxan Scholar. Did Trumpet miss that as well? He wore the prestigious shoulder pieces marking him as a Sage, one of the highest honors of the academy, but it made sense that he would attack his own home. It made sense that he would cause harm. He didn’t think Trumpet was this moronic, and now that he knew it, he was trash meant to be burned, but they would get there.

The saiba man’s attack wasn’t accidental, and Yan on the other hand was not stupid enough to think otherwise.

”Sonnava...” the monkey started, trailing off in a sense of hopelessness as his aura exploded to almost entirely dissipate the first disk. The second came closer to him, slicing in ever so slightly and sending a burning sensation up from the spot before it too was overpowered by his ki. But Yan allowed that much, as he was already on the move. His hand crossed through the air, slitting open a crack in the world that he slipped through like ghost, vanishing from this world instantaneously, long before Chaos could reach him. He could feel the power behind him, the force and the strength, but even Chaos could not punch his way through worlds, and safety was found immediately.

Where did he go? Well, dimensional travel took him right into another world entirely, more specifically in a bedroom that was occupied by two very busy undressed individuals. One noticed him immediately and called out that he join but he waved her off with a “maybe later,” and barreled through another rip back into the battle. He appeared in time to hear Chaos’ speech and his response was immediate.

He reappeared not far from the emperor and now moved right next to him and his ear. To any mortal, his aura had vanished entirely, but Chaos wasn’t mortal. He would feel it like an itch, an energy so similar to the one he reached out for. Had the monkey done it? Ascended to some higher plane only to come out changed, different? It wasn’t Celestial ki. It was beyond the god’s, beyond the power of destruction, even if it was minute in size compared to Beerus. It had the potential to grow and become something devastating. In a way, it already was.

In comparison, his aura had compressed tightly against his skin creating no dramatic storm, or rumbling of the the cracked ground. All his power was contained in his tiny little body giving nothing to the world except silence. It was deafening, as if the transformation had sucked every noise from this place.

”IS VIOLENCE ALL YOU KNOW?” he shouted, destroying that silence in an instant. Every dangerous feeling suddenly felt imagined as this short angry man was looking up to the emperor as he had Juch, as he had someone he quite liked despite his complaints. It was completely hypocritical considering how Yan and Chaos met. It seemed he still wasn’t taking this battle completely seriously.

”I AM YOUR ONLY FRIEND,” he continued. While the first part wasn’t serious, the second one actually was, and Yan’s childlike glower cemented that. Who else did Chaos have? Vegeta? That guy didn’t do friendship. Tarble? Chaos was honestly too far above him, at least that was how Yan had felt, now he wasn’t too sure. That logic fell upon a lot of others, disposable minions Chaos used, saving them when their use proved more beneficial. Who else could the emperor sit and have a drink with? Who else could challenge him to be equals and not die for it? Who else did Chaos honestly like?

”’Yan, do you mind if I capture this girl?’ ‘No, Chao, have at her, me and Juch were trying to get tea.’ You see how simple that would have been?” he let out. It was immediately followed by another scoff as he flicked his hand in Bulla direction, getting rid of some of the dust she had placed on him. "There, now she's slowed down for you." He was honestly wasting too much of his energy being annoyed at this point, it was time to move on. He wasn't the type to hold a murder attempt against someone. Maybe he was a little stupid too.

Still, he had a feeling where this fight was going to go, despite his words and offer. He passed a glance to Juch, a tell all look their closeness would communicate: Let him have her. She was definitely the one who had destroyed the Academy, and Kelioux had much more reason to want to put her on trial than Chaos’ petty grievances, but if they didn’t let the spoiled emperor get his way, more damage would be caused. They could discuss the politics once the heat died down, but right now?

Well...Yan personally didn’t mind blowing up the entire academy himself, but Juch probably would, so…Priorities and all that?

It was like watching a caged beast. Was that a growl he heard--whist the Namekian dropped the flesh that shielded him from the beams, Juch's eyelids slid back to their usual default position, covering the void within once more, "You seem a little exhausted," he commented as he reached into his breast pocket, "Are you ready to answer my questions now?"

A folded handkerchief followed his fingers out of his jade suit; it dabbed at the dust that had accumulated over the android's glasses. Despite dangling like that on the bridge of his nose, they had yet to fall off during the foray against him. Ah, if things really were that easy; at least there was no verbal banality that accompanied yet another mad dash towards him. Was his attacker trying to mimic a bull? There was very little red that adorned the professor's garments--why charge again and again?

Juch tilted his head in curiosity as the Namekian's arms suddenly elongated, stretching like taffy until its length reached almost absurd levels. Now, the android hadn't dealt with Guru's people often, so it was always a sight to see this sort of physical manifestation at work. The pair of limbs slithered up towards him, surrounding the doctor until they completed their entrapment. The tightening of the arms bound Juch's overcoat much closer to his figure than usual, as an ugly stain akin to charcoal began to form on the surface; his epaulettes shook from the contact. Tch, that was going to be annoying to get out, wasn't it? A visible wince manifested on his otherwise serene face as the grip continued to hold him in place, but before he could utter another word, a sudden howl in the distance grabbed his attention.

The android exhaled, as another billow of smoke wheezed through his nostrils as he turned his head. Was that a...Saibaman? Beastly little creature--why would one sprout up around these parts? That wince turned into a grimace as the android heaved up, using his strength to push the Namekian's hold of him off. Just a little bit of space was enough for Juch to squeeze through the trap that had been set for him, as several ki blasts were shot towards him. Juch's cane stuck out, absorbing the energy that had been offered to him with ease.

The last thing he needed was for pests to run amok in the ruins of the Library here. It charged towards him, its razor sharp claws raised and ready for blood. Horrid, wasn't it? The professor ducked underneath the outstretched arms, as his cane swung to collide against the Saibaman's chest. At this range, right before contact, the energy stored in the cane was unleashed upon the creature, returning the multitude of blasts that it had aimed at him a hundred fold. The smaller pellets all leapt off of his cane all at once, ready to tear and mangle the Saibaman's fleshy insides until there was nothing left.

This was starting to get ridiculous. Why such the animosity? With the grotesque beast dealt with for now, Juch planted his cane back down to the ground as another power began to invade the broken earth. Who else was coming here now? The spinning blades had already traveled over to the monkey in the short seconds it took to remove the Saibaman--if not just temporarily--from his sight, but what came after left an angry gash in the ground below. The android's overcoat fluttered furiously with the winds that came from the intruder, and Juch had to place a gloved hand on his hat just in case to ensure that it did remain on top of his head.

It took a glance, but it was a face that many would recognize. An irritated billow of smoke popped out from between Juch's lips as he retained his balance from that entrance. Yan's figure flickered out of existence, but it didn't seem like it was due to the reckless punch that Chaos had tried to drive in between the redhead's rib cage. Such a ferocious scream--was he the one who sicced the Saibaman on him? Hm, how similar indeed. Yet, the echos of the battle cry seemed to be dissolved in the face of Yan's deafening aura.

Silence may be golden, but now with the Library crumbled, who else was there to maintain that standard?

And thus Yan hurled out from deep within his lungs. Was he upset? Hoh, wouldn't that be an interesting thing to see. Yet sometimes words can only do so much, and with Chaos' warning hanging in the air, Yan and Juch exchanged a glance that was magnitudes more impactful.

...tch.

While Juch wore a neutral look, but the monkey could no doubt tell that the android's displeasure had reached a new level altogether. But Juch knew how to balance things out, and he had to admit that Yan was right. It was a difficult pill to swallow, but he can't risk any more destruction to this place. He had been careful during the fight so far to limit any stray blasts and beams, but the situation was now spiraling out of control. He extended an arm to gesture towards the identified Bulla Briefs as his soft words were carried by the wind, "...by all means--she's yours. If you can finish this here, I beseech you: please don't damage the Academy any further."

"I care not about the girl. I care about the people who are still trapped underneath the rocks. So rest assured, you won't be impeded. However, the energies here are growing unstable," he gestured to the spontaneous sparks that are now fizzing in and out of existence. Chaos' dark energy had only accelerated and exacerbated the problem here, "Be careful."

Yan Took: Barrier 90%, 50% vs 2 Signature Kienzan (DR 6.5), energy dan from Saibaman

Juch Took: Block vs Hell Flash (DR 4), Mystic Attack (DR 2), DR 1 Flame Shield

Bebi Took: 2 SA’s (50%), Yahoo (5 SA’s), 5 Fire Shield (DR 3.5), Energy Dan (DR 4.5), Kiai + 50% Barrier vs RED (DR 8.5), 3x Seraphin Punch (DR 3.5),

Trumpet Took: (Senzu Here), Barrier 90% vs Energy Dan (DR 4.5), Barrier 50% vs RED (DR 8.5), Barrier 90, 50%, 25% vs 3 Bionic Punisher (DR 5.5) (Second 2 also blocked),

Chaos Took: Nothing New to the Fight

Saibaman Took: Nothing New to the Fight

Damage Taken: Bebi and Trumpet should also show 15% Ki and Vitality Drain from the Hourglass. Chaos and Saibaman would be at 5%.

Total Damage Taken:
Juch: 15.35%
Trumpet: 86.25%
Bebi: 43.3% (Critical Effect: Immobilize from Ice Fire Shield Thing)
Yan: 14.2% (Critical Effect: Slice from Kienzan)
Chaos: 0%
Saibaman: 0%

RP Report Part: Chaos entering the fight changed the quality of the RP. Before it felt like some coasting had begun, but when Chaos stepping up the bar with his post it forced Yan for sure to step his up as well. That being said I felt some things were important. I have enjoyed the eye changing part of Juch and even how Trumpet Rp’d his reaction to it. Both were real good to me. It is real hard to fight on the defensive and the actions this set of posts certainly put Bebi and Trumpet on the defensive. They did very well. Still I am going to keep the RP Reward with Juch as I have felt he is the most consistent so far. I will point out that if Chaos and Yan keep up those last couple of posts it won’t be there for long.

Please hit me up if I missed something. Also if things seem off I tried to do this fast before I went out so you guys wouldn't be held up. Just send me a message and I'll look at it again.

A howl rent the air as Trumpet's opponent escaped his grasp with ease. The namekian whirled around to see a tiny green demon tearing across the battlefield, peppering the android with ki blasts. Like a rabid dog, the fiend threw himself towards Juch with reckless abandon.

What... is that?

Trumpet had never seen such a beast before, nor heard of one existing on Kelioux. Where did it come from? His answer came swiftly. A darkness settled over the battlefield as a being of utter evil descended upon the combatants, unleashing the rage of Hell on Yan Cass.

That power... that's impossible...

The energy radiating outwards from the devil shook the very ground beneath his feet. He stared in stunned silence at the monster, but his attention was finally torn away by a surge in power from Yan. The Monkey's energy doubled, matching the newcomer's. "Was he always that strong?" the namekian muttered to himself, shaking his head in amazement. As the battle raged around him, Trumpet wondered if he even belonged there anymore. Hadn't things gotten far enough out of proportion to warrant an escape?

Would a hero flee?

Drak's voice came at the perfect time. He needed to be reminded of what he was fighting for. Unfortunately, it had become painfully aware to him that he was fighting on the wrong side. There was no way that vessel of darkness that had arrived was fighting for anything good in the world. He looked towards the flash of light coming from his android foe and for the first time, he noticed a tuft of cloth protruding from beneath his armor. The revelation hit him like a freight train.

"He's part of the scholars. What... what have I done?" Trumpet wondered in a state of shock. He'd attacked a fellow scholar, and now the battle he'd started had drawn the attention of a being of pure evil. A veritable God of Destruction. He clenched his fists, infuriated with himself, and made the decision to do his best to right his wrongs. The namekian raised his fingers to his lips and powered up his signature attack, locking his eyes on the fighter in black.

Just before he launched his technique, a muscle spasm cocked his head to the side. Trumpet's vision darkened, hiding the battlefield from his view. He became painfully aware of another presence in his mind. It wasn't Drak, but something more foreign and sinister. He felt his leg rearing backwards, completely out of his control, before hurtling the ki orb sitting before him forward. At the same moment his vision returned and the presence faded away. With a gasp he realized his attack was heading straight for Yan Cass.

What?!

Suddenly he felt something else tearing at his insides, but this was something new. It felt as if there were thousands of claws ripping apart his soul. The incredible pain caused him to fall to his knees. His vision slowly went black again before he fell forward, unconscious.
