Destruction.

Rage.

Murder.

Ungodly beings who used these tools as an end to their own means were little more than a blight upon the known universe. They brought death and carnage to those underserving - an upset in the delicate balance of a universe swiftly spiraling into a dark and deep hole of despair in the face of such evils. Though Cactaylisma was filled to the brim with monsters, pirates, and thieves, few could fathom the senseless actions of mass genocide. Even the criminal organization - a band of pirates known as the Star Wolves had some sort of code to follow. But the scene that stretched out before Maragai was a sight that shattered that code into a million pieces.

"The power of a man is not measured by the destruction he can cause - rather, the destruction he can prevent."

The ruined landscape before Maragai was something to behold - a symphony of destruction and death. Dust rose to the sky as Maragai approached the demolished city. Cracked concrete and scarred dirt bathed the child of light's vision. She had arrived too late. The sudden influx of power that had alerted the Vessel to a possible lead on the mutated Planetary Trade Organization Brute she had been tracking down brought her here.

And only death and genocide greeted her.

Maragai clenched her hands into tight balls as she walked forward. Rage began to swamp over her. Why? What was the point of this? How many had died as a result of Stramar's rampage? Ten? A hundred? A thousand? Maragai paused in her gait, looking down with amethyst eyes as her foot brushed against something soft. At her feet, a dusty and torn doll could be seen amongst the rubble. The Vessel stooped down to pick it up. It looked to be homemade; buttons served as the toy's eyes and a rag substituted its clothes. But now...

Whatever child who had owned this doll was likely dead. And as Maragai stretched out her senses to scan the demolished city, she could only sense a single point of power; one that rivaled her own. There were no survivors. There was nothing more to save.

Only an animal that needed to be put down.

A soft plop sounded as Maragai dropped the dirty doll. Her amethyst eyes flared with anger and newfound purpose. Alexstrasza had been right - there was no possible way to talk a monster like this one down. His reckless destruction and unwarranted murder sprees proved that fact. Maragai's walk quickened as the beast came into sight. He seemed to be unmoving and unknowing to her presense. Was he blind to the Vessel of Light? Or was he simply relishing in the afterglow of his war against the unwilling?

I know you're angry. But try to keep a level head, love. Stramar had quite a bit of power behind him. He's more than capable of holding his own against you... Je'sheln's gentle voice tickled the Vessel's mind - a soft mist over her steaming and growing rage.

No, he's not, came the child of light's silent retort. There was no arrogance or a false sense of immortality behind her thought - only a cold, steely, and powerful resolve. Stramar could not be allowed to continue on his mindless rampages. This ends now. The Rasagin teen's eyes narrowed dangerously.

All of it.

Je'sheln remained silent in response. The lupine could tell that something was slowly changing within her host. But what? Ever since she had left Namek, it was as if Maragai had simply given up on positive outcomes. Instead, the girl seemed almost... lost.

Maragai welcomed the silence. She was hardly in the mood to listen to Je'sheln's voice right now. After all, the girl wanted her full concentration to deal with this... monster. As she drew closer, she could see that something was definitely off about Stramar. Though Maragai knew that the beast had undergone some sort of mutation, the child of light was not expecting this. Stramar seemed to be... rotting. His grey skin hung from exposed muscles and a disgusting stench reached the Vessel's nostrils. Maragai's first instinct was to gag from the reek - but she was able to stifle the reflex and surge forward instead. There would be no dialog.

No witty banter.

No introductions.

No explanations.

Only the sound of combat - one that Maragai fully planned to be as one-sided as possible. She ripped through the air as an amethyst bullet, aiming a bone-shattering fist at the back of Stramar's head. Using the power and speed behind her own attack, the child of light soared above the disgusting beast before she flipped to land back on the ground. Two boots tore through the charred earth as the Vessel of Light stabilized herself with a single hand. But her posture was not for show - within that hand, a single spark of light briefly radiated with a golden hue. The ground shook as chains of light erupted from the ground beneath Stramar, attempting to grab at the behemoth and tie him down.

Maragai's power exploded as she forced her body to release a mass of Ki to circulate within her lithe form. The massive storm of energy brought a physical change as it desperately tried to find release. Her hair spiked to gold; the amethyst pools of her eyes shifted to an emerald green color. And with that change, brought Maragai an amazing storm of extra power that could be briefly seen as a storming aura of golden flame.

It didn't take long for the child to control her combustive power. Soon, the aura had vanished. Maragai narrowed her emerald eyes as she allowed her element to flare to life once more. She stood in a slow manner, keeping her eyes locked onto Stramar. Her form seemed to shimmer and contort. Then, she stepped backward. The shell of light that had encased her body seemed to take another form - one identical to that of her own. Was it a trick? Was it an illusion?

No, the elemental clone was very real and held the same look of contempt on her gaze as the original. The clone took in a deep breath before bending forward and releasing a torrent of flame-like light. The dirt cackled as the heated element seared at the grains. But that light was shadowed by another breath - identical to the previous. And with that, Maragai could only pray that the beast had found himself occupied with the heated and condensed light. The Vessel let out a soft growl as she leaped over her clone, allowing her element to coat her arm and take form like that of a blade. She came down heavily, aiming a slashing attack vertically down Stramar's face. As soon as she had touched down on the ground once more, the girl leaped backward, forming a powerful storm of Ki in her free hand.

With frightening control, the amethyst energy spiraled and condensed into a single orb. And with that, the child launched it directly at the monstrosity before her. She skidded to a halt several yards away from her clone.

No words left her lips.

Instead, she allowed the light to vanish from her hand as she took up a defensive stance. Her clone did the same.

Two little girls against a wall of muscle and rotting flesh.

What could go wrong?

It was a rage that consumed him for years that continued to swell up within the beast. Stramar had never felt such a power and ever since the incidents on Grace his body had been reacting in the most hostile way possible. Where he went desolation followed. It wasnít just random destruction it just a terror the likes of which couldnít be described. People were seemingly beaten and broken on the outside while at the same time eaten away from the inside as well. He had seemingly become the personification of biological and chemical warfare in the form of the monster he now was.

He was a beast before, but now he was a monster. Landing on Cactaylisma had been somewhat recent for him, but the overall rage he felt had left cities in ruin. The most recent was decimated with a corruption that still seemed to be spewing from his body. The sickness that had impacted him has taken the lives of so many. It was something with his genetic makeup the enhancements that the PTO had given him that had combined to create such a monster. He was in control, but control of a power he truly didnít even understand yet.

He didnít have time to think about it though as before he knew it he was hit right in the back of the head sending the monster into the ground face first. He slowly stood up as if his brutish size would make one believe that he was just a big burly monster. That wasnít exactly the case. Still he wouldnít have much time to prove it just yet. He looked as the shiny being before him seemed to split into two forms. It was at that moment that he managed to realize he was held to the ground. He looked down at chains. His distraction allowed the incoming shower of flames to wash over his body. Before the blade of his attacker slashed across his face, a toxic green blood spewed out, but as it did the wound seemed to heal itself causing just another scar to form on his body.

She then created a ball of energy in her hand looking to blast him away before the battle even started. He simply responded with a howl ripping his arms free of the chains that had bound him so far a toxic field of energy erupted from his arm allowing him to swat the ball of energy away as he gave a bestial roar that shook the very desolated city that he had created.

It was then that his natural side of power began to show. He took a deep breath as power began to flow around him. For a moment the beast was gone, but the explosion of a pure energy erupted from around him causing a natural green field of energy to form around him, but it began to glow with a lighter shade to it. He then simply raised his right hand as he did a fallen victim arose from the ashes of the city.

One of the few that could hold on to the power his corruption had given. He sent the rocks that had buried him away before looking around. He saw his creator, he saw his master and he saw two others that seemed to be glowing as well. They would be his targets. His power simply erupted outwards sending a series of energy bolts at both of them. It was two explosions of energy each sending out 6 bolts of energy at his targets for a total of 12. It was then that the man shrieked a little himself as he looked around to try to assess what else he could do. At this point he wasnít completely sure what this new power was even capable of. All he knew was that he now seemingly hated the pure and that specifically was the two that continued to glow with the holy light.

Stramar switched his footing looking around he seemed ready for a fight now. His hammer appeared in his grips, the massive maul looking to smash anything that came close to him. He just hoped he would have plenty of time to use it. No one so far had survived it for too long!

"Darkness consumes him... A simple show of light won't be enough to scatter his power..."

He was strong. Even though he hadn't thrown the first punch - Maragai could tell that the beast had more than enough power to completely level her. And at a simple raise of his massive hand, the dead heeded his call. A Lismian rose at the mutated Brute's call. Maragai covered her mouth with a single hand. Had Stramar's mutations given him command over life and death as well? Just what the hell was she up against? She could sense no Genki from the raised dead. Instead, a sinister shadow seemed to encase the fallen like a disgusting fog. Though the Lismian was not tall, much like the rest of his race, he was definitely moving when he shouldn't have been able to. The abomination's blue eyes were sunken and hollow. Most of his blonde hair was burnt and singed, giving it a patchy look. His clothes were little more than rags, just barely covering what they needed to. On his exposed chest, a gaping hole could be seen - a clear indication of how the Lismian had died by Stramar's hand. The Vessel of Light could see bits of bone protruding from its limbs as well as motionless organs within the risen dead. If she wasn't seeing the creature move for herself, Maragai would have doubted that such a ruined creature could even move - whether through magic or demonic energy.

Yet the Vessel of Light could not simply ignore what her emerald eyes were resting upon. Another wave of bile rose from her gut; Maragai desperately tried to swallow it back - to bite back the rise of vomit that her body wanted to eject. She didn't want to see this...

She didn't want to see any of this...

Gods... What kind of sorcery is this? Even Je'sheln seemed shaken from the display of necromancy displayed by the rotting behemoth. But that feeling was quickly becoming overshadowed by growing anger. This cancerous being... No, this corruption...

There was no place in the universe for it!

It would have been a blatant lie to say that Maragai wasn't afraid. Hell, the beating of her heart had gone into overdrive. The painful thumping in her chest only intensified at the sight before her. Still, the Vessel of Light forced her visage to be that of a stone wall - unmoved by this sickening ability revealed to her. She had to stay determined. She had to stay strong! The monstrosity's power had leaped to something far beyond her own in her base Super Saiyan form, but the Rasagin teen knew she still had the upper hand. After all, she was a Vessel! Something as simple as the power over necrosis could not stay her power! But was Stramar even beatable? The way he moved and reacted almost made Maragai believe that he was one of the walking dead as well. Still, she could sense his Genki, at least. And that meant he was alive - no matter how unshaken he seemed to her previous attacks.

Maragai glanced at her clone. Thankfully, the construction of light seemed unmoved by the display - after all, it was a product of her own will rather than feelings. The child of light let out a slow and steadying breath. She needed to calm her nerves.

Darkness consumes him... A simple show of light won't be enough to scatter his power... Je'sheln's gentle voice coaxed her host into action and out of her shocked state. The Vessel didn't even seem to give Stramar another grain of attention. After all, she could feel the dark energy beginning to swell and morph within the raised dead. Thanks to her keen senses, the child of light hardly even needed to use her telepathic abilities to read what the zombified Lismian was about to do. His broken arms had risen as dense energy began to form. His sightless eyes shifted first to Maragai, then to her clone. Black Ki flickered in his open palms.

Maragai glanced once more at her construct of light. But the Vessel of Light could already tell that the clone had both reacted to the surge of power, and had calculated an appropriate response. As the first wave of blasts erupted from the dead's palms, both Maragai and her clone had leaped away, weaving between the blasts in a graceful manner. Though Maragai noted that her clone seemed to be taking quite the different approach to the whole scenario than she was. The Vessel of Light had evaded the multple blasts by pushing distance between herself and the risen dead, her clone seemed to close the distance, instead. When the second wave was released, Maragai realized that she had allowed her thoughts to falter. She could only tense her lithe body as several blasts smashed harshly into her torso. If it weren't for her heavy armor, the child was sure that her clothes would have been torn by the searing ebony energy.

However, the construct of light was definitely on top of its game. Maragai marveled slightly as her clone continued her graceful and expert weaving between the second volley, drawing closer and closer to the broken corpse with each sidestep, duck, and weave. Before the monstrosity could launch his final blast, the clone was within melee range - slapping her wrist against his broken hand to divert the final blast before aiming her other fist directly at the zombie's face. That attack was soon mirrored by her other fist - an earth-shattering force followed that fist. If the Lismian was still alive, Maragai would have had reservations that the being would be able to get back up without a shattered skull. But this cadaver wasn't about to be put down by such a simple attack. Still, it seemed her clone was more than willing to throw hands with the abomination.

Instead of attacking, however, the construct simply raised a single arm. A spark of light radiated a foot above her outstretched palm for a moment, sending beams of light flickering and filtering through the veil of still swirling dust that rose from the rubble around her form. Then, her arm came down in rapid movement. The single spark struck the ground below her before coagulating and exanding into a thick fog of bright particals. Maragai brought her arms up as the fog of light blasted past her. But rather than cover an entire area, the light seemed to be perfectly under the clone's will. Maragai watched in stunned silence as the fog thickened further into a solidified and geletanous substance as it tracked down both Stramar and the zombified abomination. The constantly morphing element aimed to overtake, weigh down, and fully encompass the two disgusting beings in its graps.

Maragai couldn't help but smile slightly. So far, her clone was showing a mastery of her own element far beyond that of what Maragai had even considered. She had to take notes! After all, she wasn't about to be outdone by her construction! So she turned her emerald eyes back to Stramar as she allowed her power to flare up. Golden flames engulfed her as she allowed her Ki to begin to circulate through her body and soul. Feeling both energized and quite a bit spunky at this point, the child of light launched forward at a blistering pace, transmuting her Ki into a hardened light. With a single fist, the child of light aimed her bullet-like attack at Stramar's stomach, using her entire body weight as the mass of the titanic blow. Unsure if she had even managed to hit at this point, the Vessel flipped over, launching back towards the behemoth's back as soon as she touched down on the ground once more. Her next attack was aimed at the back of his skull - much like her first attack...

But if this one landed...

Stramar would find that it would hurt a massive amount, unlike her first blow.

He had been attacked. He still didnít know exactly who he was even fighting or why as nothing had been said, but truly the monster didnít care. He was going to continue his path of destruction and turn this new attacker into the next Bioman that would fight by his side. A sinister grin on his face seemed to show that he was confident that would be the outcome, but it was more of a desire to inflict as much punishment as possible. He was ready to decimate whatever was in his path.

Stramar looked ready to charge after his opponent when suddenly a bomb of smoke erupted on the battlefield. The monster in him would have stood there and took it straight to the face, but the warrior in him brought his hands up to his face to cover the explosion from his eyes. Still the smoke kept him from seeing much of anything. It was only the beeping of his scouter that indicated he had an approaching foe. He couldnít see from where, but he had ways around this. He waited as the beep intensified to greater heights indicating his opponent was close and then suddenly he was gone leaving only an image behind to be dove right through by his attacker.

The smoke settled with the rush of his opponent causing him to finally see the gold covered Saiyan before him. The monsterís eyes locked in now as he was once again under attack. He tossed his hammer into the air and held out both hands as if he was trying to simply catch the impact with his might. His hands caught the incoming attack, but the power was much greater than he had expected and it sent a shock through the beastís body. He gave a howl of rage as he did sliding unwillingly away from his new target. He jumped into the air grabbing his hammer. He dropped to the ground near his target slamming the hammer down towards her head.

Whipping the massive maul around as if it was simply a piece of paper he twirled it around with great agility showing he wasnít just a big slow monster before he swung it towards the body of the golden warrior. A hint of poison began to drip off the weapon as if it was drawing the corruption from his body and looking to put it into her body.

Meanwhile Bob the Bioman wasnít doing so swell. The two power strikes landed without much defense at all and then he watched like a child as the clone caused a cloud of smoke to explode right in front of him. He began to wildly flail around trying to simply hit anything that was around not having any idea what was going on. Luckily for him his biological body was able to quickly adjust to the torment his eyes suffered. He didnít have much time to think, not that he could anyways. He simply held out his right hand releasing another explosion of energy blasts. Again it was 3 at each of Stramarís attackers. He clearly had no idea what he was doing and was simply trying to hurt anything that he could at this point. He didnít even know if it came with reward, but he was now just a mindless monster. Unlike Stramar his will was gone he was just a shell of himself ready to serve the will of the beast that had created him.

The first stab of lightning was a clear indication that the heavens themselves were watching this battle. Dark clouds seemed to sweep above from the horizon as the grey masses released the first drops of rain. Maragai remained unaffected as the drops evaporated against her aura with a loud hiss. Darkness swept over the ruined city, forcing Maragai's golden aura to be the main source of light. The only reprieve of that burden would be when another bolt of lightning ripped through the sky to bathe the destroyed city in a flash of dull azure light. More drops fell, cascading into a downpour. The falling water seemed to settle the dust and turn the charred ground into mud. Maragai found her boots sinking slightly as she took a single step backward from her earlier assault. As expected, Stramar had dealt with her overwhelming offense. And in return, he showed little sign of releasing the big guns. Was the mutated soldier of death trying to stall? Trying to force Maragai to exhaust herself from Ki usage?

The child of light's emerald eyes narrowed and she had to stifle a scoff from escaping her lips. As if! Once more, she glanced over at her construction to make sure that the clone of light was still holding its own. And that's when Maragai sensed a sudden surge of Ki from Stramar as he leaped forward. Maragai hardly even had to look back at him as she simply and preemptively allowed Je'sheln's element to swarm over her like a storm once more. A dome of hardened light surrounded the young Vessel as she turned her gaze back to the rotting monstrosity just in time to see his dense and heavy maul slam harshly against the hardened element she wielded. Sparks of light dappled as some of the light shied away from the titanic blow. But Maragai knew that the element would not bend from such a blow.

It would not break.

Nor would it fail her.

As cliche as it may have been, her light would triumph over this overbearing darkness, no matter how Stramar flailed about to try and overshadow it with his power. The ground below her cracked loudly as the sheer force of this monster's strength rippled through her element. When he spun around to deliver an attack towards her body, Maragai swiftly brought her arms before her, bending the dome-like shield of light to further condense and collapse into a concentrated area over her forearms.

Crack!

Even with the heavily and tightly knitted element, the force carried the young Vessel of Light off of her feet and sent her soaring. The Rasagin teen grit her teeth as her feet touched down once more as her boots tore trenches through the ever-growing mud. Said trenches were quick to fill with water from the torrential downfall of rain above. Delicately, Maragai allowed herself to drop the light only for a series of blasts to slam against her back. She stumbled ungracefully as she tried to find her footing before tripping and falling to a single hand. The mud splashed up from the impact, decorating her face and body with splotches of brown color.

"Tsk." That had been the first sound that had escaped the child's lips since she had started this fight. Though the sound wasn't really made from pain - rather, frustration. She glanced behind her to see that her construct had taken the same hits as she. But the life-like elemental hadn't made such a clumsy fall in reaction - mainly because the clone's attention had remained solely on the zombified construction of broken flesh before her. The clone had simply slid back a few feet as she summoned a powerful storm of Ki within her grasp - the same technique that Maragai had used only moments ago against Stramar. The tightly woven orb of amethyst energy ripped free from her open palm towards the mound of broken flesh before the clone of light once more allowed her other arm to radiate with light.

Maragai couldn't help but question that tactic as another storm of dense and bright fog filtered over the battlefield. Sure, the nigh brainless walking dead could easily be manipulated with such a simple tactic - but would Stramar? The behemoth had already shrugged it off prior to this; would he fall victim to it this time?

Frankly, the child of light was growing increasingly exhausted from having to deal with this... abomination of broken bone and flesh. Sure, the Vessel was more than confident that her own construction could handle the zombie. But how long woud it take? And the scattered and random energy attacks of ebony flame were disrupting both her attention and abilities. She needed to be able to concentrate on Stramar rather than divide her attention. Though Maragai only felt slightly sore from the ebony Ki attacks released by the walking dead, she knew full and well that such attacks would whittle down her natural defenses over the course of the fight. Her attention turned back to Stramar. This wasn't the time...

Speaking of...

It was time to end this.

Her golden aura tripled in size and intensity as Maragai suddenly released a loud roar - the second sound that escaped the lithe Rasaginian. It was almost feral - even giving her construct pause as the elemental suddenly looked over in shock at the sudden influx of power.

More power... She needed more! Though the child of light could have easily ascended further into her Super Saiyan form, such a feat would consume vast amounts of energy - Ki that the child was not wanting to waste just yet. Besides, the young Rasagin Vessel was still confident that her abilities would overcome anything thrown at her as of now. Her emerald eyes shifted briefly to the hulking Brute - the only warning that her power was about to be directed on the seemingly rotting wall of flesh.

She vanished.

Rain and air rushed in to take the place where Maragai had been standing before only previously and mud splayed outwards in all directions in a delayed response to the sudden surge of speed that Maragai had released. Her form flickered into existence briefly as she covered the ever-shortening distance between her Stramar. Sporadically, she seemed to dance in and out of reality itself as she soared towards the dark abomination before simply lowering her head as she attempted to carve a path straight into the monstrosity.

The Vessel of Light skidded to a halt and she extended her arm out towards her side. Light radiated from her open palm as the child seemed to aim at nothing. But rather than a blast, beam, or any other kind of attack - the child warped her element into a sinister-looking construct of a lithe serrated rapier. Once more, those blazing emerald pools were locked with Stramar. For a moment, Maragai simply stood there - her golden aura still flaring in a violent manner, rising as a sparkling column into the dark clouds above. The element split the clouds apart at the heated touch, causing the rain to run from the Rasagin's form. Though the downpour still pounded the entire area, a small circle could be seen where Maragai stood - a piece of this city that the rain simply could not penetrate.

The Vessel of Light's form seemed to shimmer before displacing entirely to leave the untouched space swiftly flooded by rain once more. The girl was upon Stramar in almost an instant, dancing around him in a random manner.

Stab!

Slash!

Gouge!

Her attacks were constantly switched up with her positioning as she bore her constructed rapier down upon the behemoth's massive body from different angles. The ground continuously exploded as Maragai would land for only an instant before launching off once more - the display of speed she had shown before was nothing compared to the output shown here! Only a single stream of light could be seen in her place, wrapping around the ruined PTO Brute in a mixture of streams and sparks. From there, the girl only hardened her assault, shifting the rapier into a Beidenhšnder. Placing both of her hands on the massive hilt of her light-based weapon, the Rasagin teen shifted her concentrated assault into a brutal slashing show of utter mastery. It was true that Maragai had little knowledge of where Stramar's major organs were, (or even if he relied on them anymore after such a mutation) but the child of light was thorough as she could be, aiming a total of seven rippling slashes and stabs at where she could feel his Ki concentrate the most on his body.

Once more, her weapon shifted. The girl had slowed down quite a bit from her first attack, mainly because she was attempting to put more power into the final two strikes than she had previously. Though she kept both hands on the hilt, the blade had condensed further into a single-edged blade known as a kopis. With two single slashes, (one aimed horizontally at Stramar's gut and the other aimed vertically down the middle of his body) the child of light stepped back to see what (if any) damage such a powerful assault had caused.

Surely the behemoth of rotting flesh could feel pain, right? If not...

Well, Maragai didn't even want to think about that dark option.

Repeated tactics were exactly that. Stramar might have appeared and been every bit of a monster, but his mind was still as sharp as ever. He watched what was going on around him, trying to time out when the right time to crush both of his foes under his might would be. Another ball of energy, this time at his creation caused him to smile as he watched as the risen abomination used the same tactic it had also seen moments prior. It was simple really and with a formation of a protective barrier around his arm and swatted the attack away crashing the orb into the ruins creating even more devastation in the area.

The abomination was satisfied, it was also a fool. Stramar assumed he knew the same tactic that was coming this time looking again towards the clone just long enough to see the smoke cloud formed. Again the abomination copied his actions covering his eyes, but nothing more at this point was done. It was, but a shell of a potentially good warrior. This creature the beast had risen was just a tool.

He covered up already knowing that last time this was done his attacker had used the familiar dragon dive technique. So many brutes knew this technique and he understood what it could do. He didnít need his eyes to know the target was normally the body of his foe as users of this ability like to ram through opponents. He dropped his hammer for a moment moving both arms across his body to cover up as the scouter beeped. He didnít know where she was, but he had a good feeling. A feeling that paid off as he could feel the disease eating at her at the same time, the corruption he was spewing naturally and it allowed for his guess to be right as his arms caught the brunt of the attack.

Still she was strong and he flew backwards, barely grabbing his hammer as he was sent reeling through the debris his desolation had caused here. He didnít have much time as his sight came back and he saw the golden light of his opponent approaching. It did help that she was glowing! He readied his hammer positioning himself in a defense stance once more waiting for her to arrive as he finally caught his balance against the rocks. He moved the hammer to cover the vitals of his front, but only gripping it with one hand as he switched his free hand to protect the rest of his body. The sword meant she was going to attack with crisp strikes. He had no idea of the ferocity she would bring with those strikes though.

Covering up as best he could he tried to follow her movements to start barely moving in position so that his normal vital areas were not directly struck, but his body still took a beating from the first onslaught. He would have been a fool to simply stand and wait for more to come. He faded from his position at that point causing her next sequence to only catch air, but he wasnít able to move that far away. It was a blunder of his corruption. It allowed for the girl to be able to slash a cross with two strikes against him. His teeth gritted, as a green puss like spewing of blood erupted out from his body.

He took a few steps back crashing into a side of a building. Without hesitation he gripped his hammer smashing it against and through the building towards the golden girl looking to break her body with the hammer and any part of the building the came with it in a downwards striking motion. He made another slight step forward, still gripping to weapon with both hands he swung it like a bat trying to break ribs, hip, arm and anything else in its path. Truly it was only part of the problem she was facing. The real concern was the corruption he was giving off. She wouldnít want to be impacted by it and he wasnít going to stop until she felt its toxicity flowing through her body. She would become like the abomination he had risen, she would become one of his mindless creatures of desolation.

The Vessel of Light
Monitors
The storm grew restless - as did Maragai. Continuously, Stramar was shrugging her attacks off as if they were nothing but ant bites to him. Truth be told, it was much like trying to take down a tower made of Katchin. The Vessel of Light had known that the behemoth of muscle and peeling flesh before her would not go down without a fight... But this was borderline ridiculous! Another stab of lightning tore through the sky, swiftly followed by the sound of the rain-swollen heavens shattering in protest. The ground shook from the sound waves and Maragai flinched. The azure blaze that lit the field was the only warning she received as the monster's hammer glinted unnaturally from the lightning's hue. Stramar was finally putting up some sort of offense? The Vessel let out a soft sigh. She would have to make sure he didn't do it again...

With a narrowing of her emerald eyes, Maragai charged right towards the swinging PTO Brute. Maragai's boots shattered through the mud and standing water. Though thankfully, the child of light didn't seem to sink as far into the mud as her opponent. After all, she was much smaller and lighter. But for such a massive brute...

He sure was swift.

Godly flames exploded around the child's lithe form as she increased her own speed. Splotches of mud could be seen covering her body and streaking through her ebony locks. Assuming she survived, the young Rasagin would need a long and hot shower after this! The building behind the ruined grunt was crumbling and giving way from the massive dent he had put against the already damaged tower of stone and metal. Stramar seemed to use it to his advantage as he tore through it even further with his titanic maul. Debris, twisted metal, ruined concrete, blasted wood - such was treated as shrapnel and Maragai was forced to weave around it before she decided that the mud below her was the safer option.

As much as the thought disgusted her, the young Vessel of Light was already dirty enough as it was. What was more mud? She dove down feet first in a swift slide, propelling herself to even greater speeds as her lithe body tore through the mud like a golden bullet. The massive maul soared over her as the debris followed, cutting through the rain-filled air at nigh impossible speeds. The shrapnel soared across the muddy road before burying deep into the next building over. Cracks spread on the face of the building like cobwebs and a loud groan could be heard from the failing support of the structure.

It didn't fall.

Not just yet.

And neither did Maragai. As her body wove beneath the space between Stramar's lets, the child waited for the millisecond her boots touched against the crumbling building. With that, she launched herself into the air to avoid the falling rocks. But to her amazement, the behemoth was upon her once more, his maul already in mid-swing. The child of light grit her teeth as she summoned her trusty element to aide her yet again. But the sheer ferocity behind the behemoth's swing was earth-shattering. Hell, it was more than enough to finally break through her defensive shield! Fortunately, the light had taken the blunt of the attack.

Unfortunately, the magnitude of the attack had sent the child flying towards the same building that had been weakened by the large shrapnel launched by the behemoth's earlier attack. Maragai screwed her eyes shut as her body carved a path through the building. And that was enough to bring the massive tower down. The child dared not open her eyes or even breath as everything around her turned to broken concrete and dust. Heavy rocks fell on her, but the child of light forced herself upwards, using little more than the energy given off from her Super Saiyan aura as a radar. As the golden flames reflected off of the incoming debris, Maragai avoided the largest of the falling stones. Her body shot out from the collapsing building and the Vessel seemed to hang in the air for a graceful moment before coming down from the apex of her jump. As her feet splashed into the mud, the last roar of the collapsing building behind her died. Dust rose briefly, before being completely drowned out by the pouring rain.

A slow breath escaped her thin lips as Maragai considered her options. From that display, it was obvious that Stramar held quite a strength advantage over her. Though her own power was slowly draining, the Vessel wasn't too worried about it just yet. Was it foolishness that drove her? Who could tell? The Rasagin teen rolled her shoulders to loosen her muscles as she glanced over at her clone of light. The construct seemed to be gaining the upper hand over the risen dead. That was good. But perhaps it was time to coordinate with the construct rather than keep on with this divide and conquer tactic. With a single thought, Maragai had planned out her next move. Only the slightest nod from the clone told Maragai that the construct had understood what it needed to do. And with that, the clone's emerald eyes blazed with a new violet energy.

But this was no energy.

This was psionic ability - an invasive and forceful will as the clone attempted to get inside and take control of whatever served as the broken cadaver's ocular senses. With a powerful psychic tendril, a new world was build - a small dwarf planet with a thin atmosphere. Massive walls of ice stretched from the snowy ground, showing ancient ruins of a long-dead civilization. This planet had once hosted life but now was as lifeless as the white dwarf star that served as its only source of dull and pale light. Snowstorms were common in this world, even if it seemed like a physical impossibility without any sort of evaporation or condensation that would have been provided by heat.

But physics didn't have to make sense in a world created by a psychic thought - a generation of the Astral Realm. And now that popular realm used by warriors for sparing was being used as a weapon - one that would hopefully fool the zombified corpse into a state of frozen shock.

A tiny smile of self-gratification crept over the clone's thin lips as it leaped backward, amethyst energy building up within her small hands. With a piston-like movement, the construct of light aimed a large number of energy blasts at both the zombie as well as Stramar, providing Maragai with a layer of cover fire that she had so desperately needed. Maragai was swift to follow the multitude of blasts as she closed the distance between her and the mutated PTO Brute. In her right hand, a tiny spark of light softly glowed, overshadowed by her blazing golden aura.

It didn't take long for Maragai to skid to a halt before the powerful behemoth. The child extended her hand and allowed the spark of light to combust and expand into a titanic flash of light that seemed to cover the entire battlefield in a brilliant golden hue. The blinding light extended until the clouds themselves scattered and fled from the display. For the briefest of moments, the rain had stopped. But as the light faded, the dark clouds condensed and conjoined once more, allowing the downpour to continue.

In turn, Maragai allowed her golden aura to further condense as she transmuted her energy once more into a thin layer of light that encompassed her body like a second skin. From her open hand, the Vessel of Light allowed her elemental weapon to make a grand return, this time - taking the form of a shortsword. With two swift and accurate movements, two slashes were administered towards the monster's mid-section. Allowing the sword to glow brighter from power and raw emotion, the Rasagin teen took another step forward, to try and place herself well inside of Stramar's melee striking range.

As idiotic as it may have been, the child of light had decided to test her abilities in a melee dance of speed and power.

The monsters mind rushed around the battle. He could see it all he could feel it all and yet he still didnít know what he was truly capable of doing with this corruption that radiated off his body. He had only been a force of desolation and devastation since Grace and no one had stood up to him, especially not like this young warrior. Still his body felt fine. He didnít know exactly why as he knew the abilities the skills that were being used against him would have normally taken a toll, but for now he felt perfectly fine. He was now seemingly invincible, but part of him knew that couldnít be true? Had he turned into a genetic mutation that simply couldnít die?

Stramar noticed it seemed the tool of desolation he had created had simply frozen in place as if he was actually cold. It certainly wasnít right. Then bolts of energy like the Bioman had been used came this time at the Monster and his pet. It was from the clone of the golden girl. The blasts connected with him as he was truly under the belief that he was invincible. Again he grunted and walked right through the explosion only the see a burst of light once again. It was meant to blind, it was meant to stop him and for a moment it did both.

Meanwhile Bob had to deal with his own troubles. The Bioman started to warm up just in time to cover half of his body with his arms. He clearly wasnít very smart as part of his body took the damage directly and the other seemed to simply manage to block the other half. He seemed determined to break free and suddenly as the last bolt connected his half guard he was free of the cold and sent crashing into the ruined building nearby. That wasnít what he had intended at all.

Stramar grunted his sight was once again hindered. It seemed to be the strategy he had to deal with, but at this point he was ready for such things. Even though he believed himself to be invincible he couldnít help, but feel the power of his opponent and that she was very close to him. His instincts kicked in, even with the confidence in his new powers that he had, a barrier of energy formed around him. He felt the first attack towards his body barely break the barrier and pierce his rotting flesh. He moved his arms down as more pressure pushed against the barrier as his sight was still gone. He felt the pressure now against his arms as he managed to partially block the damage that got through the blow.

Now they were close to one another and his vision had returned. He gave a diabolical smile flipping the hammer around to his back as he spun his arms behind him somehow the menacing weapon found its place against his body as his arms looped around coming down together in a swinging motion looking to just clubber the golden girl with straight brute force. He then immediately almost snarled as he rammed his head forward towards he chin before finally rushing in looking to crash his shoulder and forearm into her body and drive her against a broken building nearby.

A roar of might came naturally with the rush, but nothing more. They hadnít spoken much and that was the way the monster liked it. He was only getting used to his powers now. It was only a matter of time until he fully understood what he was capable of doing. At that point the entire planet might be at risk. It was best that this hunter was a hero and saved the day or else more lives would be lost and more corruption would spread.

Another stab of lightning.

A roar.

Two sounds reached Maragai's ears as the PTO Grunt rushed forward in a mixture of rage and power. Maragai tightened her fists as she allowed her element to swell in response. She grit her teeth and summoned her will. This was nothing! Stramar would fall! His first blow landed upon the powerful shield of light, causing Maragai to stumble backward as the massive wall of muscle charged once more. His head connected to the same barrier, forcing the Vessel of Light back even further. Before the child of light could slide back too far, the Rasagin teen dug into the mud deeply with her boots as she surged forward, ducking beneath Stramar's final blow. Without her aura, the freezing rain was chilling her to the bone. But the young Vessel tried to ignore the uncomfortable feeling as she aimed a small fist at the monster's throat in retaliation.

Once more, Maragai assumed an offensive stance. Mud scattered as she stepped forward, aiming another blow at the titan's gut. Closing the distance even further, the young Vessel quickly put herself inside of Stramar's longer range, lashing out twice in rapid succession. One blow came towards the behemoth's side as the other homed in on his other.

"Hyah!" A cry of anger and effort escaped the Vessel's thin lips as yet another crack of thunder accented her ferocity - a ferocity that the elements themselves seemed to approve of. She was a Vessel! This was not the power of a mere warrior. This was the capabilities of a god! Though Maragai did not see herself as such - the blood of the innocents who had fallen to Stramar demanded retribution! Not one of these extinguished lives was about to go unpunished! The girl's feet left the ground as she attempted to leap up and slam the crown of her skull into her opponent's jaw. As her leap arced at its apex, she aimed a powerful elbow towards the center of Stramar's scarred face.

As soon as her feet landed, the young Vessel aimed a final blow - a powerful kick towards the Brute's torso to hopefully send him reeling. An explosion of Ki could be felt behind her as her construct of light used the time to summon another storm of Ki bolts. Maragai didn't even flinch as six blasts of Ki wrapped around her body so close that she could feel the heat radiating from the outer shells. The attacks once more had been aimed at both Stramar and the walking dead somewhere behind her.

Truth be told though, Maragai wasn't paying much attention to that battle behind her. Her emerald eyes were locked only on Stramar. And the rage behind those green pools were vast - deep enough to drown in.

And in the face of that anger, the heavens continued to weep.

Stramar was ready for a melee rush. Even before his corruption he enjoyed the feeling of an opponentís bones crushing beneath his might, now it was more than just enjoyment for him, it was almost a form of nourishment. He needed that feeling to survive and keep going. He pushed his attacks, but before he could react he felt energy blasts strike him from the back. His body didnít react kindly sending out a surge of desolate power, but at the same time almost stopping the beast from moving all together. It was because of that his defenses were down and his body was riddled with attacks from both the golden warrior and its clone. The final strikes sending him away into the ruins that collapsed atop him.

Bob was still in trouble. The constant blinding was really taking away from his productivity, but his sight was coming back and once again he was in danger. He was too late as the first set of energy bolts crashed into him, but he did manage to get his hands up in time to protect himself from the second. He gave out a shriek though as Stramar was sent into the ruins and explosions happened all around him. It almost felt like something with off with the strange beast that had been given a risen desecration of life.

The Bioman dropped to a knee and then just like that the collapsed ruins exploded outwards and just as quickly the creature rose to his feet the same as his master and creator. He held his hands out ready to continue, but he knew to wait now. He could see something with the monster was going on.

Stramar immediately swung his arm towards Maragai sending a wave of energy slicing over the battlefield. The damage it did to the surroundings was all that was a show of its location as it rushed in to slice the golden warrior in half. He immediately followed it in holding his hand out and creating an energy ball that was meant simply to trap and then immediately explode.

Still just in case it needed help he pulled his hammer out with his free hand gripping it tightly before swinging it like a baseball bat towards the midsection of his target. A sadistic grin grew as he moved his free hand to grip the weapon as well. It was time to try to cause even more damage.

With his hammer spewing out the green toxic that seemed to also flow from him he swung it again even harder looking to crush and bludgeon anything in its path. Even if she moved the area around her would fall victim as he was swinging in a downwards motion simply looking to create and cause as much damage as possible.

It was then that the risen Bioman fired. It wasnít anything that special, but another set of energy bolts at both opponents would be enough to keep up some use for him so far. It didnít seem like he was anything more than a prop and that was certainly not what even the mindless bioman desired. He wanted to make his creator happy and the only way to do that was to help turn these two fools that had attacked him. Soon if things went as planed he wouldnít be the only creation of the monster and that gave him something to look forward to.

He kept getting up. Again, and again, and again once more! No matter how many times she knocked the behemoth to the charred dirt, the ugly wall of muscle and flesh rose as if being controlled by more than willpower. Each time Maragai's weapon of the light bit into his flesh, hardened tissue would swarm the wound to make him that much stronger. And the child of light could not fathom how or why. In fact, she found a soft wave of panic threatening to rise from her core. As Stramar charged forward, Maragai's visage hardened in a mixture of determination and anger. Was she even doing any damage to this monster? Was he immortal? Immune to damage? How could this corrupted Brute keep himself going like this? He had more vitality than a damned android!

Rain bit into the young Rasagin's skin as her element came into use yet again. After all, Je'sheln's light hadn't failed her yet - and Stramar hadn't seemed to find a way around it as of yet. Though she couldn't see the incoming attack, the keen Rasagin teen could definitely sense it! And even if she couldn't, the caving ground before her was more than enough warning to tip the young Vessel off. But the cleaving attack shattered against her barrier of light - stopped in its tracks. The weight behind the attack was more than impressive, causing Maragai's boots to sink into the ground as the invisible energy briefly clashed against her element before simply dissipating and displacing over the curved and golden surface.

The ground crumbled around Maragai in a cone-like shape. Buildings shattered and fell. The heavens roared in protest. The only piece of untouched ground was that directly behind Maragai, spreading out in a wide arc the further and further back the energy had displaced to. A heavy exhale escaped the child's lips as her emerald eyes darted to any place upon Stramar that looked like some sort of weakness to exploit. Anything!

But the Vessel of Light could see none.

In that brief distraction, Stramar had surrounded the Vessel in an orb of ebony energy. The rippling power behind it plagued Maragai's senses, but the Rasagin was quick to act, extending her own hands to either side. As her palms pressed against the inner walls of the force, the girl couldn't help but wince slightly at the stinging touch. Still, one touch was all she needed - it was enough to infiltrate Stramar's Ki with her own.

To make that energy betray the PTO Brute. Though Maragai wasn't able to fully control the volatile energy, in a way, that was good. Now, instead of exploding, it simply layered around her like a second shield of black flame. A puzzling development, but one that the young Rasagin would have to study on later. Assuming she could even survive this, that was. After all, Stramar was showing no signs of slowing down or any signs of fatigue. If anything, it seemed that the punishing blows Maragai had landed earlier were giving the brute more power!

Maragai's breath quickened at that thought. How was she supposed to fight against that?

Calm down! Je'sheln's voice sounded loudly within her mind. Don't let him get to you! Just keep powering through! He has to fall eventually!

The goddess' words had calmed Maragai as she hastily brought up her already weakened shield of light in a somewhat vain attempt to block some of the incoming force of the massive brute's hammer. But the light had finally faded enough and shattered beneath the titanic blow. As the child stumbled back, Stramar attacked once more. And for the first time, Maragai felt the near full force of the behemoth's strength.

And like she had imagined, it was ungodly.

Pain swamped the teen's body and her vision blurred. Her armor had protected her from a fair portion of the attack, but she was thrown back like a ragdoll regardless. If there was anything to take from this exchange, it was the likely vain point that the volatile and ebony flames around her had hopefully done something to the monster.

But if she had anything to go by from the way the monster acted previously, that was highly unlikely. Painfully, the Vessel rose with a slow and steadying breath. Her ribs hurt, had the hammer cracked one of them? Her emerald eyes flickered over in time as her senses locked on to another volley of incoming blasts - the same attack that the risen zombie had been spamming from the start of this blasted encounter! At this point, the child would have sighed if her ribs didn't hurt so much. She simply moved her body slightly, allowing the blasts to miss her completely, exploding somewhere in the air above her. She had seen enough of that by now!

Her construct of light had taken another hit from it, but the emotionless clone hardly seemed bothered by it. Instead, she only released another torrent of her own blasts in return at both enemies. And in turn, Maragai allowed her arms to rise. Two powerful beams of amethyst Ki ripped free from her open palms, one aimed at Stramar as the other curved to home in on the walking cadaver. Almost at the same time, she had expertly wormed her element into the ground once more without betraying the move with so much as a flinch of her muscles.

Chains ripped from the ground again, attempting to swarm Stramar within their grasp.

What now? Maragai decided to ask Je'sheln for some guidence. After all, the goddess of light was much more experienced than her!

Find an opening. And if you can't find one, force it. Then finish this...

The monster watched as barriers and shield and flames overcame his target as she managed to maintain herself against the onslaught of attacks he had attempted to end her with. She was resourceful if nothing else and he could certainly respect that. At the same time he truly didnít care how many barriers or shield she would utilize; the beast knew eventually she would fall victim just like everyone else had. He had no reason to believe she was holding back and he had no reason to believe she was special. She was going to be victimized and another tool in his desolation army.

Or at least that is what he thought. As more bolts of energy struck him from the clone he showed a slight discomfort as he gritted his teeth only looking over to the Bioman who was being sent away once more by the attacks. Maybe he should have turned a stronger victim to his side, but for now he had to just wait for this particular being to show some worth. He looked up as the flames his opponent had shielded herself with had caught him on fire, the heat only seemingly cauterizing the wounds that had formed from her slashes earlier. The mixture of flames and toxicity spewing from his body gave only a burning smell that seemed to be similar to decaying and rotting flesh caught amongst flames.

He looked up with a merciless grin on his face. He saw the blasts she had fired, one at him one at the Bioman. He only smiled as he took his hammer with the distance and flung it right at the wave of energy which it somehow cut right through as it charged right at her the green gas being omitted from it filling the air. As he did he suddenly felt a sensation of energy beneath him he jumped into the air a green bolt of energy forming in his hand before he thrust it to the ground just as the tendrils came up his blast met them cutting through the same path they had created before coming up off the ground right at the golden girls location.

It was then that he noticed a slight change in the area. It seemed like the desolate insects in the area where now coming towards him to tamper with him. It was at that moment that he seemed to return their arrival to him with a welcoming grin. Suddenly the numbers multiplied not only covering him, but also swarming the golden fighter as well. He controlled the plagues and locusts were just another of his many newly found powers.

He held out two fingers again making a slashing motion through the air as another slicing wave of energy would cut through the rain as it looked to slice Maragai into two. He then jumped forward holding his hand out as he once again looked to entrap his victim in a ball of energy allowing the ball to be just the right size so that as soon as it caught it her it would explode on contact with the nearby ruins. He then landed his hammer sending itself from wherever it had landed back into his grip he held it with only his left hand motioning for his opponent to come and feel more of the pain it could dish out.

Meanwhile Bob was once again covered in the debris of battle. He wasnít as good or resourceful at defending. He had never been, but as he stood back up he saw the clone was still nearby that was all he needed. Opening his mouth an acidic spew of gas came from his mouth going right for her. He was done being a victim. Stramar had killed him and raised him and now these two were seemingly going to do the same. He wasnít going to take it. He darted forward looking to see how well she would do in melee against him. For now it seemed like it would be his best chance at finding some way he could gain and advantage.

The Vessel of Light

She had to stay calm. She had to! But as her chains of light were rendered as nothing but fodder, Maragai was forced to defend herself once more with a torrent of her condensed element. Sparks flew at the contact as Maragai was forced airborne, leaving a large enough opening for Stramar to exploit. The hammer had stuck home once more, forcing the young Vessel of Light back down to the ground. Though she was in pain, Maragai refused to show it - putting on a stone-like visage as she allowed a slow breath to be expelled from her lungs. The same cutting energy as before tore through the rain, leaving a brief trail of void until it fell upon the teen's defenses. The shield splintered from the force of the blow and Maragai reluctantly recalled the light so she could mend it with her will. It was then that Maragai found herself surrounded by another orb of dark energy.

This time, Maragai was well prepared. As before, she extended her arms and bent the energy into her own will. It seemed that in the short two times she had done this, the young Rasagin had further learned to control Stramar's expelled and toxic energy. Rather than forming a volatile shield, the child of light found that she was able to simply absorb the black Ki into her own body.

And as disgusting as that energy felt, it worked to replenish her own supplies of Ki. She needed that boost!

With the same energy Stramar had unwillingly donated to her only seconds ago, Maragai weaved the ebony sparks into a highly concentrated and thin web which extended from the girl's fingertips in an attempt to tie up the beast before her. With her other arm, the young Vessel condensed the remaining energy into an explosive blast which she heaved towards the wall of rotting flesh with a titanic amount of strength.

With those two attacks acting as a cover, Maragai charged forward. Another golden blade of light extended from her arm as she summoned a storm of her own amethyst Ki into a single point before her outstretched palm.

"Hyah!" The sharp kiah left Maragai's thin lips as she allowed the orb of crackling energy leave her palm. And with that, the child of light was within melee range once more. Her constructed blade tore through the rain twice as Maragai expertly wove two slashes in the shape of a cross towards Stramar's hulking torso.

Her form was little more than a blur as she launched herself out of the mud and above the massive Brute. Twin blasts rained down, one after the other towards the tip of his skull.

Would that be enough? Somehow, Maragai doubted it. At least her construct of light seemed to be faring well against her dead opponent. The clone smiled slightly as she danced around a disgusting blast that the walking dead had produced. The goop sizzled loudly as it hit the mud, yet the acidic properties seemed quick to lose its potency as the rain watered it down.

And as the zombie charged forward, the clone eagerly met the monstrosity head on, aiming two powerful punches at the disgusting abominations face before simply attempting to kick the creature away as if it were nothing but a rag doll.

His opponent was holding on. Stramar wasnít surprised truthfully as he knew the look of a Super Saiyan and understood its power, but she did seem different in a way. He couldnít put his finger on it just yet, but she was certainly different. He watched as the protective shields and barriers continued to form around her to protect her from harm. The beast knew that eventually he would break through them, he just had to keep the pressure coming forward. That meant it was time to stop playing around and truly get to business. He needed to get on the offensive.

Again golden chains tried to grab him, this time the beast was about to be grabbed when suddenly he vanished appeared a few dozen feet further back. He had seen that trick before and her attempts to slow him down at any cost had not gone unnoticed. In his time before the corruption he would have probably respected this, but for now he just loathed it. She was just delaying the inevitable in his mind.

As the beams began to fly towards him a sadistic grin came over his face. He had full confidence in his body to survive anything now and it was even more reactionary as the barrier of energy formed around him at the last minute allowing the wave of energy to be mostly negated before the follow up attack as well. He stood boldly amongst the smoke cloud as she emerged ready to slice him once more. This time the beast was ready for the cross like technique as he moved his hammer to block the majority of the force, but still parts of the attack cut into his body. Those wounds he knew would heal eventually.

It was then that another couple of blasts connected with him. The first was partially negated by the barrier, the second crashed into his arm sending him back slightly a few steps. That was when he knew it was him time to strike. He swung the hammer looking to first smash her away before a burst of his hard to believe speed allowed him to get behind her and attempt to smack her into the air before he would jump up and look to bring down the full force of the diabolical weapon onto her body and sending her back to the planet below.

He continued to fall waving his arm to release another slicing wave of energy to hopefully finally cut her and allow his corruption to start to seep into her blood. If that happened it would be almost over for the struggle. Or at least that is what the beast had believed.

Meanwhile the two lesser important figures had engaged in close combat. It was going to be rough for Bob to keep up as he was immediately greeted with a series of strikes. First they were aimed at his face and a quick almost boxing like high guard allowed him to absorb the blows with his forearms, be then he looked down seeing a kick coming to follow it up. The high speed combat played into his favor as he managed to push off and slip to the side before his claw like hands started to shine. He slashed with a quick right and then left hand looking to tear up the clone and try to get some sort of advantage for himself.

The Vessel of Light
Monitors
It continued.

The rain, the lightning, and the battle as a whole. Neither side was giving ground, and Maragai was starting to grow tired of it. The being before her showed no weaknesses, no signs of damage, no signs of fatigue, and no signs of stopping. And as he attacked once more, Maragai found herself growing a bit frantic in her defenses. She wasn't injured all that much, the young teen felt as if she could keep going for a long, long time. Still, her stamina had its limits, even as a Rasagin. Stramar's massive maul met her element again and again - sparks flew as the ground shook from his strength. But the child of light found herself overcalculating on his final blow. She let out a soft hiss as his hammer slammed into her shoulder. The ground below her cracked as Maragai summoned every bit of her strength to keep herself from falling to the mud. Her knees bent, but they did not buckle. Instead, the Vessel of Light twisted slightly to allow his hammer release from her shoulder - the heavy weapon splashed loudly against the mud at her side, scattering the wet material.

But as her senses alerted her of yet another wave of cutting Ki that was invisible to her naked eyes, it was a fairly easy feat to condense her light and form a powerful and durable construction that resembled a tower shield. She raised it over her head as the energy clashed against both her and the planet. At contact, the energy split, carving a broad path both in front and behind Maragai. But she had survived - the ground beneath the young Vessel of Light remained unscarred.

Finally, the massive beast had paused. And although Maragai had her doubts to keep using her larger attacks against such a seemingly immortal demon, the child of light wasn't quite sure what else to do. Guided by Je'sheln's gentle nodding within her mind, she summoned two azure orbs of energy in her grasp. A slow breath escaped her thin lips. She raised the twin orbs as if she were preparing to fire them off from that distance.

But nothing happened.

Instead, her form flickered before vanishing from the realm of existence entirely. Pushing her speed to a heightened state, the Super Saiyan rose above Stramar as she launched the twin orbs down like bombs at the monster's back. Would they hit? Maragai wasn't really betting on it after what she had seen from this diabolical warrior. He was grizzled and experienced. Somehow, the young inexperienced Vessel doubted that she had anything up her sleeve that the corrupted warrior hadn't seen before. But for now, this was what she had to work with.

Two more blasts rained down as she pushed her arms back and forth briefly like pistons. Though the next two orbs weren't quite as powerful as their predecessors, they still had quite the explosive payload behind them. They glowed brightly with an amethyst hue - a contrast from the azure orbs from before. Another bolt of lightning ripped from the heavens and shook the earth as it struck nearby. Maragai found herself once more glancing at the storm of electricity. Though she didn't like manipulating her mother's element...

If this continued, she likely didn't have much of a choice but to really cut loose.

With as much as Maragai was struggling, the construct she had made seemed to be enjoying the exchange of blows she was sharing with the walking dead before her. Already, the zombie seemed to be struggling against her greater might and speed. Still, he was able to launch some sort of offense. A small smirk crossed the construct's face as she simply walked through the slashing attacks. Though flecks of light sparked at the contact, no blood was shed. After all, the construct was just that - a structure built of light. She showed no pain from the attack even though the force had slowed her down a bit. But the clone simply recalculated her first attack as she aimed a powerful fist square with the zombie's face. From there, she spun slightly to bring her foot down in a powerful arcing blow towards the creature's kneecap. (Or whatever served as it at this point) Another fist came as the clone stepped forward - the construct of light leaped up to aim the blow downwards at the zombie's head. As she landed, she reared up, bringing her knee up to hopefully knock the monstrosity away.

This would likely take a while...

He now found himself on the wrong side of an never ending barrage of energy waves. One after another they bolted towards him. He focused his mind on the first two seeing they looked stronger his scouter began to show calculations and angles as the rapidly flashed in front of his face. The beast in him glared forward, the warrior in him summed it up quickly as he swatted the wave of energy at the precise time that it moved back and collided into the second wave of the same side stopping it from reaching its target. The problem for him was the explosion rocked the area causing debris to start to fall all around him. He looked up just as the next two blasts rushed into his body sending him further into the falling city and causing him to be buried under the rubble.

Bob was not doing much better he attacks landing on this elusive clone seemed to be rare enough, but the overall issue he was having was that he just wasnít nearly on the same level of capabilities as the technological clone. He was not going to be able to keep this up for long. Then the explosions happened behind him sending him off balance enough to be struck over and over again by his target and sending him into a prone position himself as more of the nearby buildings crashed down upon him just like they had his master moments earlier.

It had seemed like the day might have been turning around for Maragai, but before it could suddenly the power erupted and from the ruins of another building Stramar appeared smashing the building with his hammer and causing the debris to come crashing down on the golden warrior looking to crush her under the force of that blow and his hammer. The corruption spewing out the rage swelling within him more and more and the battle intensified. It was hard to tell, but it looked like even the beast was a little worse for wear as the battle raged on.

He gave a deep howl which shook the entire area. It was then that he seemed to lick his lips before releasing the grip with his right hand on the hammer allowing just his left to grab the corrupted smasher. At that point he looked around without concern about anyone else in the area. He lifted two fingers causing the explosion to fill the entire battlefield. Anyone here would be touch by his rage including his own zombie like minion. Nothing matter to him now.

It was lucky for the Bioman that he was under the debris as he managed to feel the corruption and rage of his master building up. He dug himself deeper into the ground using the debris to hopefully keep some of the damage from completely incinerating him. It was as the explosion ended that his makeshift fort was like the rest of the area, just a ruined location. He popped out of the hole in the ground and looked around. He knew his master wouldnít be happy if he just died so he needed to do something before he became completely useless in this battle.
