Yakumo Narikan was born in a small village called small rock in the woods away from modern civilization located on earth. Yakumo never met his father or mother who never lived in small rock to begin with he was always raised by a woman named Martha who could not conceive her own child and raised Yakumo has her own child. When Yakumo asks about his parents to Martha she tells him they died from a bear attack and she brought him in. Yakumo is a very adventurous and determined child he would always leave the village exploring places he really should not be and he loves fishing and animals. However one day Yakumo received a mysterious letter sent by a raven too the village and the letter said
'Dear my son Yakumo I am out there and alive somewhere out there in the vast deep of space and among the very stars. I challenge you to come and find me however this journey will be very dangerous if you intend to do so I suggest you get some training by seeking out a man known has master roshi. I never even wanted a kid to be honest with you I will not make this easy but however I want the challenge too see if you can beat me my own flesh and blood if you decide too pursue me good luck from your father Yamine Narikan...' Yakumo filled with sheer determination decided to take on this challenge and he ran home and started packing some things into a backpack.
Martha confronted Yakumo and Martha learned Yakumo discovered the truth and Martha broke down in tears. 'Yakumo I am sorry your father left me with you I did not want to tell you the truth because I did not want you to leave" Yakumo hugged Martha 'its okay Martha but this is something I need to do I will find my father were ever he likes it or not'. "I understand Yakumo just please stay safe and maybe write to me once in awhile' Yakumo saying his final goodbyes he sets out on his path to find master roshi and train his heart out.
