After he had finished firing the Kamehameha Joseph began to descend not having knowledge of the flight technique and no longer being propelled by the force of the beam. The boy panted breathing heavily as he felt a heavy burden of lethargy take him. He had spent a great deal of his energy trying to drive back and overwhelm the Android in his assault. Joseph questioned himself as to whether it was the best choice to deviate from his approach of minimal energy expenditure through focusing on defense and less potent and less costly techniques, but then again he may have found himself overwhelmed if she managed to defend against his attacks and return with a reprisal of greater magnitude.
Either way Joseph understood that now he needed to be mindful of what ki he had access to and to be sure to conserve himself until he had a chance to replenish his reserves. The boy looked down at the Dauntless Android that stopped herself from being forced into the water was speeding his way at a harrowing velocity to retaliate from the assault she endured. Joseph expecting nothing less prepared to defend. The boy focused and took a breath, he shot a transparent burst of ki from launching him from the side. He repeated this with the other hand sending him back the opposite way. Joseph repeated this action while also angling his arms up and down to send him in another direction and even launching the invisible blast from one of his feet, sending him in multiple directions at such a rapid pace that it looked as if he was in multiple places at once. Jurturna could try to follow his aerial movements, but she’d find herself tasked with discerning where to adjust her velocity and strike her opponent and not a mirror image of where he had been just before.
The boy watched as Jurturna moved to position herself between him and the island before taking an all too familiar pose. He looked as a holographic screen displayed a count to four before she fired the blast. As it rushed towards him Joseph pressed his thumb and index finger together generating a small blue pellet. He crushed it in a pincer grip making a cloud of smoke that enveloped him and expanded before the moment her blast would have connected. He shot a transparent burst of ki to launch himself to the side to evade it. When he was about to land in the water he generated ki into his hands and feet giving them an electric vibe. The boy landed but didn’t fall through the water, rather he was on top of it and it rippled below him as he used his ki to let himself stand upon it without disrupting its cohesion and falling through.
The smoke expanded its volume and thickened but not in time to mask where he was. When Jurturna made a brilliant flash of light Joseph closed his eyes a moment too late and his sight was overwhelmed his eyes stung, tears ran down as his vision was distorted to vague shapes and unintelligible blurs. He held them shut tightly they still twitched as the irritation persisted.
Joseph rose his arms to make guard. His left arm was held up and bent forward with his palm up and fingers pointing out. The other arm was kept closer to his body turned to the side with his hand between his forearm and bicep. The best he could do now was stay on guard, he was without his sight against an opponent without an perceivable aura. Joseph stood calmly with his sangfroid visage, reaching his other senses out to prepare himself for Jurturna’s next move. The child raised his his power tapping into the hidden reserves he was saving, surging the golden energy around him.

The light faded, leaving behind suffocating smoke. It was an attack she was far too familiar with. Joseph’s other teacher was her student, and she knew the effects of this camouflage. She took a clean breath before diving in, pulling from her own resources to replenish the spent ki, and went quickly after the boy.
With her first extended she came down on him from above, her fingers lacing together to form a mallet as she aimed a hammer blow down towards his head or shoulder. She spun in the air towards whatever recovery he made, careful of any defense, as her foot began to glow that dangerous purple. It couldn’t be sensed and yet the air seemed to warp around it.
Keeping her speed before he could sink into the water, she launched a kick towards his chest, to send him back upward. Whether she hit him or not when she reached the end of her leg’s length that ki would ripple out from her in a fast but potent explosion. It tore at the air and the water around them, slamming it backwards in all directions so that the beach below could be seen in a dry pool.
Wherever he ended up, she moved forward and decided to kick things up another notch. Appearing behind him in a flash of speed, her knee shot up and in before snapping outwards again, aiming to send the ball of her foot back into his body from the other side. Her bare feet were still aglow and once more the lavender ki poured out from it either on contact or at the finish of her foot’s due course, exploding towards him even if he tried to escape.
As the water tried to fill its hole the waves below steamed up where her feet rested above them. It was only an after image of where she once was however, as a dash of speed teleported her back in front of Joseph. The water rushed up from the force of her swift movement. Her knee moved out again to snap into another kick, this time aiming to cut right through him. The water below was pushed out to create a narrow path in the wake it it, as if it had been cut in two by the mere wind force of her super human kick, only for the following explosion to create another temporary reprieve of dry land.
Purple tinted smoke filled the air now, even more suffocating then her son’s technique, and before Joseph got far, she was in front of him again, this time a little higher so when her leg shot downwards from its full height, the explosive crash could drown him in the stormy current she had created.

Though Joseph stood on guard, his blurred vision and the speed of the Android’s attack denied him the ability to properly brace himself against the overhead attack. He felt the weight of her attack crash over his head and nearly force him to lower on one knee. Joseph rose to get back to a proper posture, his vision cleared as his opponent spun into the air exuding a purple hue as she moved to deliver an energy empowered kick. The Demi-Earthling steady his footing and waved his arms around, his fiery golden aura flared as it was contrasted by a fading blue hued trail left by this palms. When Jurturna had come close enough with lavender kick, Joseph waved his left hand into a semi circle as she came for while stepping to the side himself. The explosive force that empowered the kick was diverted sending a shock that tore through the untamed waves at the side of them rather than through Joseph’s body. Afterwards Joseph leaned in curling his fingers and raising up higher on his palms leaning in and turning his hips to strike her body with an open palm the cool colored trail still behind his hands. Joseph’s then erupted into a flurry striking at the Android body and face rapidly. The child fighter threw a series of rapid palm strikes and punches aimed at various points of her upperbody down to her stomach and rib cage and even to her face and head, with every blow leaving a trail of blue. If she failed to avoid or repel the this assault she’d feel like a swimmer trying to move against a raging current, and she’d find herself fumbling in her movements as she recovered from the fierce counter attack. Her assault did not end quite yet however, she sent another kick towards his chest prompting the boy to pivot to the side and while leaning back to weaved around the kick and allow himself to just elude the explosive radius that followed. When his opponent disappeared in a burst of speed Joseph quite turned around to see where she could have gone. The boy caught sight of her delivering another kick almost as he made a 180 turn. His answer for this kick was to raise his leg, while turning one of his arms, and then ducking and leaning down layering a number of different defenses to disperse the explosive kick’s power. He dealt with the next kick in the flurry by raising his leg and turning his body to the side to knock the outward kick away from its mark sending the explosive force away from him as it went on to split the water behind him and reveal the land underneath. When Jurturna performed the final kick Joseph lifted his arm towards his head while bending it as if he was answering the phone. His elbow was held far away from his body. This made for a slant that didn’t kick through the boy but rather her kick slid up it and over his head denying a clean impact. This way of blocking could possibly open him to body shots, but now the threat that showed presented itself of the utmost urgency at the moment were the kicks that were rending the very environment around them. After he finished defending against her kicks, he his control of ki to moved the lingering cloud of spirit energy to lower down and exerted his own energy into the mist to make it denser while also expanding its volume. Joseph stepped back getting deeper into the thickening mist attempting to allude any sensors she may possess and render himself too obscured to be attacked. The ki mist made his presence feel like he was everywhere in its radius, it masked his scent, and it shielded him from sight. Free) Take A2

Juturna’s foot slid through the air, releasing an explosion which was quickly countered. Joseph’s movements were fluid but excessive as he danced into a violent assault. The form of her kick left her arms in a guard so his first strike crashed into it before she recovered entirely.
Their speeds were about matched now at his transformed state but she refused to be overwhelmed again, and at this point in the battle his form and movements were familiar. Her hands slid upwards, attempting to slide in against his strike to push it back before she repeated the pattern in swift movements to match his rushed attack. His concern was speed, to rapidly take her apart. This didn’t give him a lot of time for feints or variation, so she could keep her own movements simple in her defense. A small battle of strikes were carried out until he slowed to a stop and she could swing her foot once more.
He moved back to defense, swiftly avoiding her assault now, or attempting to parry it himself, but she did not let it deter her. Mist moved down to try and cover them up but she refused that too, powering up to let out an explosive aura that pushed the fog back to shore as she launched herself above it.
Again, this was an attack she helped Daji learn. They had spent many nights in her main body translating and repairing sacred scrolls of the fallen Black Panther Clan. It would not deceive her, and before he could drift into the blown back fog, she launched herself immediately back at him, almost appearing before him.
Her arm was pulled back to her shoulder as she came at him and swung it in a sharp spin to try and crack the back of her knuckles into his jaw. Her free hand open, she immediately followed it into another strike only this time it was far more dangerous than a crushing blow. Her fingers dove in first, trying to dig into him and pierce the organs within.
Before he could recover she vanished again, a burst of speed placing her behind him already in a spin to try and kick him back into the air with a bone cracking force. Well, maybe not his bones, but she was going to make a good try of it.
Kicking off the ground she passed her kicking force with a burst of ki and followed up with her trade mark slam, shooting down with her own ki in an attempt to dig her elbow into his spine.
She didn’t completely follow through on this one however, pulling back with ki control before her hands cupped once more in a speedy charge. One, two, three, four. The screens popped up faster than he could reach the ground, and her palms shot forward. The force and power of the beam that erupted from her hands blew her long hair back and lit her face up with dazzling blue light. It poured out from her with all the strength she could muster, aiming to plow the boy deep into the ground before she released it from her grasp.

The Android had repelled the spirit energy generated mist easily, making it readily apparent that she would not allow herself to be fuddled by it. In a mere moment a surge of power drove it away making it disperse leaving nothing obscured as it left. He’d need to go for a different approach if he wanted to slow her down so he could gain ground in this battle. The Demi-Earthling didn’t have to time to muse at the moment as the relentless Android rushed to him delivering a back fist to his jaw, upon impact he was prompted to turn his cheek away from the blow to deflect some of the force and moved back yielding to it. As he back away Jurturna thrusted her hand with a knife hand strike, when it connected Joseph quickly leaned and continued stepping away, he still felt as if he was jabbed in the gut with a blade but he managed to prevent his form from actually being pierced by the attack, though that didn’t prevent a burning pain from resonating in his stomach. Jurturna disappeared and before the boy could track her movements she was behind him and sending him into the air with a kick. He gritted his teeth and grunted as a jolt of pain travelled up his spine, he gasped as the shock of being sent upward in such a way forced air out of his lungs. Joseph could not use the technique of flight and was still recovering from the kick leaving him helpless against the slam, when it connected a shockwave travelled through his entire body, he coughed and hacked blood as the slam sent him hurling to the ground of the ravaged island. The wild waters settled and he landed face first into the ground the ground making a quack the tremored across the island kicking up dust and debris. Joseph had just put his hands down on the ground to pick himself back up when he engulfed in a Kamehameha Wave. The force flattened him in his prone position, burning and crushing him as its power drove him deeper into the ground burying him. After the blast finished and the dust settled it went quiet for a moment. A faint thud sounded in the island it, it repeated with each one following being more audible than the last. The grounds of the island tremored more and more as well, before a thunderous crash sounded, larges pieces of rock and dust scattered to the side. The smoke settled revealing Joseph with the fist he used to punch away the Earth that was smothering him still raised, while the other held his staff to support him. Joseph panted and put raised hand to hold his staff. The boy wasn’t quite sure how he could withstand such a fierce assault especially a Kamehameha of that magnitude, its raw power was comparable to the x10 Kamehameha. His breathes were heavy and were laborious, his chest was heavy with a palpitating heart, and his legs shock as he struggled to stand. His gui was tattered with burns and holes from top to bottom, he was covered in bruises and burns. After a moment to catch his breath and steel himself, he allowed himself to stand without the support of pole. The child focused his fiery yellow aura surged as small sparks of blue appeared from at his feet and rose up over the gilded cloak of energy encircling his form, the azure embers encircling him. This was a technique he developed recently, using his aura to cast a warding effect that fortified him or someone else against attacks dampening their power and shielding their person from other potential harmful effects an attack could impose. Afterwards he vanished, his person was no where to be seen by the eyes, his aura was no longer giving off anything to allude to his presence, even his scent disappeared. He was using the invisible jumping technique, a form of accelerated movement that allowed to move in bursts of speed while also masking his presence from others. It was a technique Broly had used against him and it was one of the things he decided to pick up after their last physical encounter. The boy hated the man more than anything else, but though the bastard had only attacked the boy and took from him while inflicting pain to feed his destructive predilection for violence there were things he gained from those fights. Whether it was to learn more blasts techniques so he could use them to cancel other blast techniques. The obscure skill he was exercising now among the other things he set out to learn after, his fights with the mad titan were the among those that he felt he learned the most from. He speed towards the Android twirling the weapon in his hands, getting infront her with his weapon held in both hands, he rose the weapon over his shoulders and brought swung it down to crash over the head of Jurturna carrying all the momentum he generated. If it connected she’d feel a shockwave from her head down her entire body. Afterwards he shrunk the weapon brusquely twirling it between his fingers and putting them in his cuffs in an act of sleight of hand. He then released an flurry of blows throwing a series of quick punches, mixed in with open palm strikes at her head, face, and various points of her body. These were not simple unarmed strikes however. He was exercising the Veracity Strike, which was also known as Extract Aspects, by connecting hits on various points of the body, the user would gain information on the target from things they had a resistance to, or what they may have possessed an aversion too. If it connected he’d learn about the nature of her artificial body and what elements it was fortified or weak against. Once he was done with the flurry he jumped back as the technique wore off. The Demi-Earthling then encircled himself in a barrier to further shield himself to any upcoming attacks Jurturna may have planned on using. Free) Take Rush

RP Report:
You both consistently write things like "if her opponent dodged then" and "if his attack failed then" after all of your attacks. Listen, we understand on this RPG that sometimes the writing can get a little funky if your opponent dodges/blocks/counters one of your attacks mid barrage, but it reallllly drags down your writing when you constantly repeat this mantra in your roleplay. This is not something that is necessary except when it literally improves your writing. We already know that if your opponent dodges Action 2 that you'll still be pursuing him for Action 3. That's the nature of the game. Please, don't feel compelled to include that in the RP for each attack. It dramatically impacts both of your writing in a negative way.
That being said, I found Yan's RP easier to follow along with this round so the RP bonus returns to Juturna.

Juturna’s feet gently touched back upon the sand, and she took a quiet breath herself. Judging from her pain receptors, she was not holding up as well as she would like. Her energy systems were draining with each attack and none proved to be effective enough. She needed to push harder, but she had to be smart.
Joseph pushed himself to his feet recovering from her attack and she felt her aura change once more. Her eyes closed and her own aura grew more intense as it surrounded her, this time in a soft blue. She breathed in once more then opened her eyes to see Joseph vanish.
She couldn’t find him with her scouter, nor her other senses. None of the spiders that were dug into the sand could see him either. This technique was beyond Daji’s and even if she had time to study it, she wasn’t sure she’d still be able to track him. He was gone, completely, but she knew he didn’t flee.
She only had one option.
Her foot slid into the sand and she pulled her hands up from their guarded position. The ground moved in response, jutting upwards to create muddy walls that surrounded her before incasing her. The rest of sand spun around her causing in a fierce wind the boy would have to break through. He would though. Even if the Saljuk Order had trained her to put up such a guard so swiftly, she had no doubt he would try, and he had shown himself wiley enough prior.
The staff crashed first through the wind, requiring Joseph’s strength to remain stable, then into the mud which threatened to drown it before it reached her, but she steeled her mind, taking whatever the hit gave her while reforming her defense. To reach her now he would need to dig back into the mud but with each strike it burst apart and sunk lower until he could find her flesh. She had to choose between keeping her concentration or allowing herself to counter, and she choose a physical defense in the end, letting the mud sink lower as she met his strikes once more with careful blocks.
He reached her though, allowing just a little of his ability to work. He didn’t get a lot and most of it would be confusing. The chassis was made with a material that felt exactly like skin, but not far below it were sheets of a material he would not recognize even if he traveled this entire galaxy. They folded over her skeleton like tendons and muscles, flexible but unbarring. It was similar in ways to metal, and like most things if he applied enough force it would bend, crack, and break. The ‘bones’ below were harder still, reinforced with the density of a well made blade. Breaking those would be far more difficult.
What weakness did an android have? The joints. It was a weakness everyone had. The points were we had to bend and move had to be thinner with less friction in order to achieve the utmost flexibility. The block was enough to hide where her main power system was actually located versus the head though. At the least it showed her actual toughness against his attacks, which just beat his strength, and that her current ability to reduce damage was low. This was an experiment in many ways, to see what she actually needed to do to make this body truly battle ready, if that’s what she decided she wanted.
He jumped back and her foot slid behind her before she launched from the sand after him once more. Against a defensive fighter it seemed she was constantly trying to maneuver the speed to catch him off guard. This time her aura flared around her, indigo once more in its aggression. She swung her left arm in a hook towards his face but at the last moment ducked down to send her explosive ki and fist back into his damaged body.
She didn’t stop there, though her aura shrank back again. With a pivot she moved to slam the bottom of her hand in fast progression towards his side, before the other moved in a chopping action towards it neck. She stepped behind him after, hoping to catch the back she had wounded and sent two more vicious strikes into his charred flesh.
Her dark eyes, which changed with her emotion had stayed their neutral dark brown throughout the battle. She had yet to get really excited or happy, nor frustrated or angry, but now they briefly flashed white as she activated a secondary power source.

Although his technique of accelerated movement allowed him to quickly close in on the Android, she had managed to ward the incoming staff with a dome of mud. He felt his weapon suddenly slow as slammed into the wet dirt that gave off a heavy resistance to his weapon as it slowly sunk in like quicksand. The boy promptly pulled his arm to yank his weapon from the mud dome, noting wanting to risk it getting lost in the body of mud.
When the Demi-Earthling proceeded by exercising his Veracity Strike technique he found himself perplexed as the use of the technique raised more questions than answers. He couldn’t make full contact with the technique between her block and the makeshift shield that his previous attacked weakened, but not quite destroyed. The prosperities he could decipher about her material was fuddling. They felt like materials that he had no recognition of, he also couldn’t find her power source, nor did he find any sort of particular weak point that would have been unique to her.
It was disappointing to see so little come from his monastic technique on the third Android he had used it on, the first one in real life as a matter of fact. He’d have to move on and work towards another approach for his victory nonetheless. Honestly, he was happy to have held up as long as he had in this fight. He was determined to push himself further and test what he was capable of against her and see this bout through.
Jurturna had rushed towards him with what appeared to be a swing at his face. Joseph played right into the feint as he raised his arms to guard his face against a punch that wasn’t to reach him. He grunted and doubled over as the punch connected to his unguarded stomach. Though it’s strength was reduced by the defenses he layered, it drove him back just for him to move right into the Android’s aggressive attack from behind at the same point she brutalized not too long ago. The attack sent him forward to slam into the ground again, the boy tucked his head in and put his arm on the ground in a slight curve to catch himself and roll rather than slam into the ground.
As he rolled he vanished again to prevent himself from falling victim to more relentless attacks. He then bounded about the forest, he landed in front of her and spun around in a semi-circle expanding it and lowering it to slam into the side of her knee. He then twirled the weapon around in his hands as he rose his arms to have the two ends of the weapon rapidly strike across her face. Joseph then took a quick backstep as he appeared visible again. He pulled a capsule from his sash, and pressed a button on it. From a puff of smoke emerged two blue gauntlets on his wrist. He shot a hand forward at the Android releasing a blue bolt of energy to explode against her body. Afterwards he focused and quickly projected his aura to fortify his body against physical force to compliment what remained on the energy warding barrier he had made earlier.

The boy rolled into oblivion and Juturna let out a small ‘tch’ sound as her guard rose This time his speed bounded into her too quickly however. Without being able to sense him she guarded her body, and pushed that blue ki further out. The knee was too low for a full defense and his stave crashed through the shield of ki into it. She staggered from the force of it, then dropped into a roll versus trying to keep herself upright. As she got into a crouched position, the stave struck out again, invisible until it touched her skin, creaking against the metal of her face and knocking her to the side where she rolled through the sand once more.
He landed and her scouter pinged happily, honing in on him and his movements. His ki didn’t rise, but her senses had stayed sharp waiting for his point of reemergence, and she launched herself backwards just as the blasts crashed into the sand.
The blue ki had faded, and now her aura shifted into a soft sea green. Purple moved to her hands and she rushed him again. Instead of punching him however, she flipped into the air above his head to land behind him and pushed her palms forward. The sand danced from the vibrations that came from her body and the tide came closer to them yet again, but despite the power she had gathered, the heaviness of it could only be felt as the first blast released at point blank range and the rapid fire that ensued moved so quickly that registering it at all would be difficult.
It was only the after effect that could truly be noticed. Each blast exploded on contact with him or the shore, blowing up the earth and setting fire to the air. The craters the sea had washed away were reformed as the sand gave way to dirt and earth and small creatures were forced to the surface either destroyed by the blasts or scurrying to try and regain cover. The waves that were pulled in by the magnetic pull of energy exploded and vanished into steam from the impossible heat.
The last blast fired and before it even exploded her hands cupped and pulled to her side. This time she was a little slower, actually building up a proper amount of power that could be seen as her indigo ki made a ball of swirling energy that quickly compacted. Despite the need for build up, she found Joseph at the second to last holographic screen, and kicked hard off the ground towards him and into the air to shoot it down upon him.
The beam moved with far more speed and danger than her earlier shows of strength. He had earned as much. Through defense after defense, her only option was to go heavy and hard. It wasn’t like the boy had held back with her earlier. She had no reason to do so now except to reserve her own ki. It was almost a gamble, and she found herself pulling back from a bigger one that her internal Mister Cass was egging her on with. No, she would see if he could handle this much, and learn from her actions later. She did not wish to become a murderer.
The force of the beam pushed her higher into the air and ripped a path through it that seemed to rupture the space around it. Cracks of sanity rippled from the edges as it grew in size to match Kame’s House. It crashed down on him, water, and land alike, ripping them apart like they were soft butter that splattered out from a swift smoosh. It reached down into the world to create a gapping hole on the landscape, destroying everything in its path.

Joseph watched his opponent pensively as the Android’s aura shifted and her hands emitted a purple glow as she rushed in to close the distance. The Demi-Earthling scrutinized her movements, he noticed something, a propensity that the Android displayed. It took him back to earlier points in their bout, towards the beginning she closed in to deliver two energy balls at close range, and not too long after that she advanced upon him sticking her hands out right at his nose and body eager to release a large barrage of blasts at point blank range.
His masters advocated to think quickly, clearly, and methodically in the heat of battle and he often fell back on such teaching during times like this. The child’s mind worked at the speed of the messenger god Mercury to capitalize on the study of his opponent. Jurturna’s movements, her posture, and her earlier actions gave him the insight he needed for a prognostication of her next move. When she jumped over and fired the initial blast from behind, it did not explode against the boys form, it appeared to go through it. After the initial bolt of ki passed through it the afterimage faded. Joseph knew what was coming and his discernment deemed it wisest to simply not be there when it began.
The Demi-Earthling had made it a good distance away standing to the side from where Jurturna landed and released the hellish volley that soon showed that he had just got out the fire to get into the frying pan. A shower of blast scattered casting fire and ruin upon the barren land with many of them coming his way. Joseph turned to adjust his stance as he placed a foot forward and stood to the side. He extended his arms out while making a circular motion with his hands ending with one arm held at the level of his chest, and the other hand to the level of his head.
Joseph then proceeded forward towards Jurturna and her volley. Typically, he would be inclined to move away from such a heavy bombardment, but simply going the opposite way would not ameliorate his situation as a hell storm of blasts engulfed the island in fire. Not to mentioned moving away to avoid his opponent’s strongest attack was not ambitious enough for the boy at this moment. If he wanted to win, he’d need to face her best shots and move in to return his own and he was prepared to do so.
He moved towards the Android and her attack holding his stance, while channeling his aura threw his feet to stay above the wild waters and keep his stance and mobility from being compromised. As a copious of the blasts came near him Joseph spun in a clockwise circle to slip passed them, they glanced by his body before proceeding to impact and explode upon the land behind him, as he was completing the 360 turn, Joseph crouched down bending one leg while he moved his arms with one pointed towards his feet and the other arm held higher with the hand facing the side of him. Joseph continued to lower as he extended his other leg allowing himself to drop and duck below another group of blasts from the harrowing attack.
When he completed the 360 spin his motion did not cease, he rose up and kept move forward and spun again counter clockwise to evade more of the flurry while continuing to step forward. The boy maintained constant movement, relying on an economy of motion to take any evasive action he needed to survive the most powerful attack evoked by his opponent by taking the path of least resistance. As the last few bolts neared Joseph leapt into the air, tucking his head in while rotating his body in a twirl to weave under and around them. The boy was about to land as the final shot sped towards him, he extended a hand down to the water. An electric crackle channeled from his palms, and the water under his hand rose up to a pillar that emitted a blue electrical vibe that carried the boy upward over the blast. He harnessed the ki flowing through the water to bend the pillar and move him upwards towards the Android.
When the Jurturna’s final blast in the volley passed through the pillar it began to disperse and lose it’s shape. Joseph used his ki to launch himself before the pillar had lost its form completely. He moved upward towards the Android as she cupped her hands to charged an all too familiar technique, and he did not intend to try his luck with it. Once he within reach Joseph jabbed rapidly at Juturna’s body with his fingers and palms, sticking at different points of her body. His earlier attempt at striking various parts of her for information was not so successful, but now as she did not have the protection of a makeshift dome.
He continued striking at her quickly aiming for different parts of her body and limbs to lock and interrupt the flow of power, just when gravity pulled on him and dragged him out of reach the Demi-Earthling managed to diffuse the ki attack and deny any destructive prospects it possessed. Joseph took a breath partly in relief to calm some of anxiety and also steadying his breathing to focus and draw from his inner wells of ki. Now it was time to press on now and go from defense to attack.
Joseph flipped and released a shot of transparent energy from his feet, boosting him upward, he cocked an arm back before raising fist to strike her under the chin with an uppercut. Afterwards, Joseph delivered rapid punches to her face to daze her before drawing an arm back and empowering it with ki to send a much heavier punch that could send her crashing to the ground. Now, that the combination attack had finished, Joseph prepared to move in pursuit of Jurturna to stay engaged propelling himself with ki as needed to get close.

The rapid fire of strikes caught her off guard, disrupting this body’s ability to gather ki, something she would have to look into later, and she was forced to drop the dangerous attack and instead vie for a closer encounter. It was alright. She hadn’t gambled too heavily, and she had energy to spare. The battle wasn’t quite over as she wished, but she still had the advantage in her mind.
As soon as the strikes slowed, she moved to take that advantage. Side stepping the upper cut, she then flipped in the air above his predictable flurry of punches. She let gravity fuel her and stomped down on his collar bone with the force of her body’s full flip. Her landing was swift and she stayed close to him so that the feeling of her fist rushing towards him felt almost immediate. She slammed it into his jaw in raw vengeance for his earlier attempt then once more struck him with a ki filled palm. It shot almost on connection to explode against him, before she dropped low and shot the second one up into his body to offset his power up.
She dove into a roll as the slower, albeit more powerful, punch attempted to crash down on her, using the distance she already created so that he would have to bend his body to actually reach where she had once been. It moved her into a low position as he haphazardly rushed her and she waited until he was just above her before shooting upwards from the ground with her fist outright, meant to crash right in under his jaw with the full power of her legs to send his head rocking back from his neck.
He wanted to stay close? Sure, but on her terms.
She vanished in a rush of speed, escaping his next attempt or taking advantage of his recovery, and flipped back into the air so she almost seemed to teleport behind him. Her arm pulled back as she spun before she slammed her fist down onto his head as if driving in a stubborn nail. Following the force of that momentum she spun again and pushed her ki behind her so that her kick could rush into him with more speed and power to hopefully send him face first into the packed sand. Finally landing, her palm struck down again at the base of his spine for another blast of ki to erupt and send him deeper into the earth.
Then she grabbed him. Before he could recover or create too much space between them her speed jumped up again as her hand reached for him like the claws of death. He was probably expecting another palm strike, but this time she followed all the way through, aiming to plant the red gem into his chest before she full on tackled him.

Joseph was still committed to the initial strike of his retaliatory assault and was not able to evade or repel the kick that nailed him in the collarbone. The boy grunted in pain as shock carried down his shoulder and arm while the weight of the kick forced him to lower down to a knee, following right after that was a punch across his face that forced him to stumble back as he began to become dazed. His vision blurred and his unstable reel back left him open to the blasts that exploded against him.
The boy ragdolled as his tattered shirt was ripped to shreds and his skin was singed his body. After his heavier punch he immediately felt the consequences of with when a double kick slammed under his chin forcing his head to rock back. Her fierce reprisal for pursuing her didn’t end as the Android continued with a kick, upon impact he felt his stomach tighten up on the inside and gasped as air was forced from his lungs, he yielded to the kick riding it to reduce the impact, then rolled back tucking his head and bending his arm to roll and get back on his feet. When she came with blasts ready to overtake him, the child shelled up by covering his body and face with his arms as they exploded against him he gritted his teeth baring the force of the energy attack that drove him further away making a trench in the ground.
When Jurturna sped towards him, Joseph crouched into a lower stance. Rather than move back to avoid the rush towards him he lunged forward to meet her head on. He leaned in stepping to the side and moving her hand away from his frame like she intended. The boy then scooted his legs backwards while lowering his hips down over her under his weight and also trying to keep his legs out of reach and putting his body over her back while also pressing to control her head by keeping it down.
Joseph then moved his arms to wrap around the Android’s waist then bringing his arms together by latching his hands around the opposite wrists tightly as he pulled his forearms back to tighten the hold he wanted on her waist. The Demi-Earthling would then got off his knees to stand while lifting her up, arching his body back to a straight posture arms still wrapped around her until she was carried up to where she’d straddle his head with her legs resting on each shoulder to keep her up. He then unwrapped his arms and put them in front of Jurturna’s body right before veering downwards pressing his palms against her, one hand right over the other to throw her off him with a heavy slam into the ground, if which was successful would render her prone and would leave a small crater in the shape of her body, while the boy moved down to mount Jurturna on her hips.
It was time to change up to a different approach in this battle, moving on to exchange ducks and counters as well as firing energy or maneuvering to duck and avoid ki techniques. The capacity for heavy energy output as well as the ability to fly were factors that were allowing her to control the pace on her terms. The young martial artist saw it appropriate to work to change the pace of this battle in his favor by taking the fight to a position that was less familiar to him and perhaps also not to familiar to his opponent. The ground, and in this case did not entail simply not using flight, but not standing, but grappling and rolling around with the opposition.
Between the abundant options and variables that were opened by a phase of standing up with full mobility and expanded more considering access to things such as energy projection and flight, there were many possibilities that could lie outside of consideration or control, and fighting on the ground reduced a great number of those variables leaving it to leverage, position, as well as raw strength. The young martial did not know to much about grappling and tended to work to put an opponent on the ground rather than be there with them, under most circumstances he’d be diffident about fighting in such a matter. However, here was an opponent who’s strength didn’t show an abject disparity between them and was also similar to him in size, so the boy did not fear being too disadvantaged here.
Joseph’s knowledge of grappling was limited and most techniques on how to capitalize on the ground or even a grappling situation lied outside his martial erudition. So the question was what would the young fighter do to proceed. The child decided to go to things he did know. Punch, punch, elbow, punch, elbow, elbow, punch, elbow, exploding ki punch, elbow, punch, punch, elbow, punch. Joseph struck at the Android’s face and body aiming to slam his fist and elbows to slam against her head, and also sending strikes on her body to spread the damage and find the most effective points to strike.

Crashing into the boy he fell into the ground with no energy to spare. She rolled off his unconscious body, and into a defensive position not completely certain the match was over. He didn’t move though and she started back to him. Poking his cheek there was no response but his vitals weren’t catastrophic. Flopping down into a sitting position, she flipped her hand around in a motion to open the dimensional pocket there and removed a bean. She mushed it together with her fingers before putting it in the boy’s mouth where he could easily swallow it. He wasn’t that far gone right?
Jolting awake, Master Roshi who had taken cover on the opposite beach sat up with a start. There was no longer the distant echoing of explosive fighting and Joseph’s ki had wound down. There was no telling what state Juturna was in, but judging from where the sun was in the sky, the match should have been over. He stood up and stretched his old and creaky limbs, uttering a complaint the whole way through. He walked back to the other beach side and saw Juturna sitting idly, watching the waves move back and forth as she waited for the boy to wake up.
”Well, did you learn anything?” he asked her. She looked back to him with a contemplative expression before nodding.
”Good, now if you can just give me the password to that whyfu…”
Getting Master Roshi to actually arrange training for her usually required her bribery with the age restricted parts of the internet. Juturna ignored him with a small eye roll.
