During his rest, the gem of telepathy he had laying on the dresser beside his bed beckoned and drew his mind into the astral realm. When he emerged in the realm and became lucid he looked around the horizon and took noticed of the familiarity the land possessed. It was a forest on Toffit. The same forest that he hand others gathered in an attempt to save the elders.
He wasn't surprised that this image of the astral plain took on the form of something similar to recent events. The Demi-Earthling looked around and reached his senses for any other presence, feeling for an aura and also using his corporal senses to see if he could see, hear, or even smell another figure.
There had been no others that were readily apparent to him, Joseph sat under a tree and closed his eyes to begin to meditate to pass the time of his slumber or occupy himself as he waited for another presence to show itself.

Aliced sighed as she sat back and rested from her training in the Damaskian facilities. The War against the Kais had only begun, and she knew that she had taken sides against the universe. Not just that, she'd taken a side against Yan. While he might have hidden his power mostly well, his signature was on Toffit, And nowhere near the Demon Prince that she had helped to fight off. The Celestial closed her eyes in thought, and then her mind took her, and brought her back to the jungles of Toffit. But she sensed that this was not where she was, it was with that kid's signature. Joseph. The Celestial had sensed his energy as well, and she knew that he had taken the side of the Kais as well.
Alice didn't try to hide her presence and stepped out in view of Joseph. She didn't show any contempt for the youth, either, as she smiled lightly. "Joseph," she said in a calm and happy tone, "It's good to see you. I was worried you might have gotten banged up too bad to move again. The jungles on Toffit are usually host to many dangerous creatures." She wasn't one to joke, either. Not even the Council had been able to pacify and jungles. They still remained dangerous, even to people of the council's power.
Her power level hovered about where he should have thought she was, close to a million, but not quite there. She didn't really care if most people knew it, but this kid got quite irritating once he knew more about you. What Joseph might notice was the device that she had at her hip, though it was barely visible behind her surcoat. It was fresh, new, and very metallic.

The feeling of another presence drew in Joseph's attention and pulled him from his meditative state. He looked up at the kitsune as she greeted him. It was always nice to see a cordial associate again. He took note of her statement about the dangers of the creatures of toffit and thought back to the endeavors of previous events in a group effort to save the council.
"Its good to see you too, I haven't quite got there at least not yet," the demi-Earthling started, the encounter with those goblins was a close one, but with the help of a good deal of formidable allies it was at least manageable. "How have you been?"
Joseph looked at Hayami as she spoke, he noticed something glimmering under her surcoat, his pupils didn't stare down at it but they did look down for a moment as he briefly scrutinized it thinking of its shape and glimmer as he wondered what it could have be. It was interesting to see Hayami during a time he upon Toffit, though it was a planet that housed the divine beings that trended the mortal plain.

Child of Chaos 216 / 510 "I've been,...coping," she said, with a lighter smile. He wouldn't know how she felt about the Kais or the damn council that ruled over Toffit. It wasn't that she despised them: she hated their existance. The judgement from her, a young and stupid girl, was to remove her idienty and way to view herself. She wasn't the type to try and be a Kai, or even live among them. She didn't really want to tell Joesph, because she wasn't sure how he'd see it. So instead, she said, "The death of the Kai on the news was really upsetting." It was a sincier response, because it was partially true. She then walked over to one of the trees and placed a hand on the trunk, before she turned back to the young lad, "I thought that I sensed a group of people on Toffit, were you with a group? Please tell me that you weren't there solo." She wouldn't wish death and destruction on the youth, that would just be foolish. Joseph probably appreciated the order that the Kais had in place, and she had to wonder if he ever thought how that was kept in place. He didn't know the gods like she did, because she had a personal relationship with two of them.

"Yes it was," the boy replied. The sight of Azazel's public execution was a disparaging spectacle, he hadn't known the fallen primordial for long, but from the brief time he had been able to witness the demon prince it was axiomatic that he stood well above the Demi-Earthling.
"Yes, I was with a group for the most part." He felt that the efforts during that mission on Toffit were rather wasted. They didn't secure the other members of the council, they hadn't hindered the machinations of Azazel to conquer to the planet. The kid wasn't sure what he was even doing on that planet in this war, most of the time he dealt with matters affecting working men on the street, and this with the expanding influence of the Cosmic Empire and their precarious reign of the galaxy was beyond what Joseph usually dealt with.
He would have opted to not intervene in the civil war and let the kais and also the mortals greater than himself deal with it, but this conflict affected him personally by bringing discord where he resided.

Child of Chaos 274 / 784 Well, she could certainly understand how Joseph might have felt. Azazel had murdered someone in a way that didn't really sit well with the girl, though that could also probably be chalked up to her morals when she didn't alter them to suit her situation. She didn't like to kill, but she fought others to gain a sense that she was alive, long ago. Now she fought to let off steam, or to become stronger. Strong enough with a goal in mind. She wanted to keep herself and Daji from those that wanted to harm them. In that sense, her progression was slower than she'd have liked. Still, she nodded her head. "That's good. It's good that you had a group to be with during that time," she said qith a calm expression. Joseph might not understand it, but she did care that he was safe. She cared that the boy hadn't run into Azazel's group, alone, during the whole affair as well. The group was riding high on victory against the demon prince, who knew what would have happened to Joseph if he just walked into that? They'd already seen the prince jump bodies. They may have attacked the kid just to be sure some small piece didn't escape. "Say, Joseph...what were you doing on Toffit, anyway?" She turned to look at him more directly, though not in a way that she was angry. It was just that she didn't want him hurt, so she needed to know his reasons. If they didn't make sense, the girl would have to tell him off. Not that she believed that he'd take her more seriously.

"Demons have been coming through portals near where I live and kept wreaking stuff and trying to kill people. I got some leads saying it may have had to do with the war, so I went there to look into it. I'm still looking for answers and a way to keep the portals from opening."
The boy leaned on a tree and looked at the Kitsune. "How has this conflict affected you?" The Demi-Earthling didn't really know much about the kitsune, even if it seemed like he could wring so much information from minute details on her person, he didn't really know about her past or her other relationships.
He knew she was a celestial, but didn't know how her relationship with her race was, he wondered what she had been doing during such a highscale conflict revolving around her kind.

Child of Chaos 267 / 1050 Demon portals on Earth? That was not something that he kitsune had known about, but it might not have just been because of the war. She placed her thumb on her chin before she looked up, opened her mouth, but closed it. She was a hunter of the supernatural. Unlucky for Joseph, she had come to Toffit after she had hunted a significant amount of already sealed beings, though not all were demons. Nor was she about to tell him about Damaskia's portal, partially because there wasn't a thing he could do about it. It was always guarded, and as a "The State is always right" mentality, it was unlikely that Joseph could even get near the portal. However, his question afterwards was something that she struggled with now, daily.
"It's affected me greatly. But because there's my certain someone waiting for me, I have to be careful how I handle it. The outcome of this was will certainly shape the universe, for a great many years to come," Alice replied with a calm expression. Should she have told him that she was there? Certainly he'd see her in a different light, though Joseph might understand her better if he could also understand that the Kai were a conflicted group. No, perhaps he did understand that. His conflict was more with the portals, not the actual war. Not's it's more mortal flaws, if she understood him correctly.
"Perhaps I can help you with that demon infestation. I am a miko of sorts, though I suppose the wider common word for it would be priestess," she offered him.

"That's understandable," the boy replied, he had loved one's waiting for him at home himself, though he felt that there were aspects of her place in the conflict that she was not letting on, but the boy respected her privacy and didn't pry for her more personal and possibly more sensitive reasons for specific things things she experienced or done during this.
When she suggested that she could help him with the situation of demons on Earth he looked at her as he thought about it. "Really? Thank you, that would help a lot. Where are you now?"
The Demi-Earthling never really thought about seeking anyone's help in dealing with the situation, apart from asking Goku and EP-3 to watch things on Earth while he was gone. With help from someone as powerful as her, dealing with the demon's could be much easier.
