The pink-haired woman entered the bathroom of one of the Paladin facilities and immediately walked over to the sink. She then ran the water and began to wash the sweat off her face. When she looked up, she couldn't help but to look at the mirror that was placed in front of her face. She was beginning to feel lost, she didn't know where anyone she knew was.
Maybe she shouldn't have made fun of her father so much. As annoying as he was, he at least gave her a purpose. Just what kind of mission was he even on? All that he told her was, 'I'll be back when I can, I need to take care of some personal things.' What kind of personal things did he need to take care of and why didn't he tell her? That was when Kari shut the water off and began to exit the bathroom.
"I really do need to make some friends..." she said out loud, looking at the ground.

Yua didn't need to use the restroom, but she did need to pass by there. The android was on her way towards the training facility when a familiar face broke through the crowd. Pink hair, and a frustrated attitude? She'd heard that Kari took her father's leave fairly hard.
The pink haired android thought for a moment before she stepped her pace up and easily caught up to the girl caught in thought. She suddenly threw one arm over Kari's shoulder in a very Yan-like way and threw on a grin.
She'd caught what she said and had isolated the voice. "You don't think we're friends? I'm hurt, Kari!" Yua have the girl a patented smile, that unique one she only gave few others. She knew what it was like to be alone. Never a great feeling.

An arm found its way around the young girl's shoulder which was then followed by a voice. She immediately turned to see who it was and remembered Yua. She had completely forgotten about them and it hurt to know that she did. Maybe she really was her father's child after all. She heard that he had a similar problem as well.
"No no I didn't mean it like that!" she tried to plead for forgiveness.
She really was sorry, Yua was the first person that she had met outside of her family. When they last had an encounter, she was even nice enough to give her advice on how to fight. She didn't know what to do.
"I'm really sorry," she said as she started to bow, "Things have been... a little hard lately."

Yua smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder, "We only met once, and the encounter was short. Don't worry too much over it, Kari." Yua then tapped her head and leaned in a bit, and placed a hand to the side of her mouth, and whispered, "Besides, since I'm an android, it's easy for me to remember people that pique my interest."
She certainly had, being a female version of Walid. However, she seemed to have a bit of a better head on her shoulders. The android kept her smile and placed her other hand up as she put her arm around Kari's shoulder again and started to steer them towards the dojo. "Why don't we let out some steam today?"

An android? That was right, half of her genetic makeup was that because of her mother. unfortunately for her, she didn't know what that meant. Anytime she asked what an android was she usually got the same answer. It was a being made out of metal or something like that. But she could feel, if you pinch her cheeks she would cry in pain. A parenting book about her kind should definitely exist somewhere.
"Sure I don't mind blowing off some steam," she replied as she punched her fists together.
She didn't really have any steam to blow off, or maybe she did. There were a lot of emotions that ran through her head at that moment. Emotions that fighting could definitely solve.
ReiToday at 1:43 PM
Steam was probably the best word for it. Emotions could be worked through and frustration had its outlet. The android smiled as she replied, "Good. I can teach you more as well. Give you something to focus on with your emotions."
When they arrived, Yua got them a private room. She was a knight in the order now. Above a rookie, with a little more respect. She waited for Kari to pick a weapon as Yua brought a staff they'd she'd use as a spear, with a rounded tip at the top.
"Ask me anything while we spar," she said with a wink.

It didn't take them long to get to wherever she was being taken to. When they reached their destination, she noticed an assortment of weapons. She honestly didn't know what she wanted to use. Normally she had chosen a dagger because her father told her to choose something so that they'd have something to work with. Did she actually choose that?
Part of her wanted to say she did, but Walid's methods were a little unorthodox. Rather than giving her an actual choice, he attacked and made her choose based off her reflexes. The dagger was the first thing she could think of to pick. Regardless of that, the pink-haired woman picked up a set of daggers and stood before Yua.
"Anything huh," she said, "I have a good question then. What's my purpose?"
ReiToday at 6:41 PM
"Purpose, huh?" Yua's smiled turned a bit sad then, and while it looked like her stance had softened, the android launched at Kari with a quick pace, and she attacked with a forward thrust. When most people asked about purpose, they didn't know their way in life. Normally they had a vauge idea of what they wanted. She wasn't sure about Kari.
Yua followed up as he actually let the pole go and rushed in. What she did next probably would confuse Kari, but she hugged her. Not tight like a fight, but close like a friend would. She placed a hand on Kari's head, and said, "Purpose is hard to decide. Most pure androids are made for a purpose, and aren't really given room to go beyond their programing. But that's not your case.
To find purpose, you need to find out what you want to do. Do you want to protect? Do you want to heal? Would you rather learn and go into politics? I don't like purpose is a well fitting word. I think what you want to know is "what should I do with my life?' Because that's what all organic and self aware androids have to decide for themselves." The fight could wait. Clearly, this was a far more pressing matter.
