That entire section of Mortoseth had been battered, bruised, uprooted, and mangled beyond recognition. The forest of Neptunook had ceased to exist and giant mushroom like trees had found a place of eternal rest here. Barkley’s body slowly descended downward after she watched Garou valiantly hold her entire hammer meant to crush his army with his own power. She expected no less. But just as she had asked earlier, energy started to pool into her body from various Kai force members. Her bright white eyes glared down at the Fallen, defiance weaved their combined stare. Spark after spark jumped her level of power tremendously as not only Kai force members were pooling their energy into her, but she was taking the energy from Mortoseth itself as if she had the very right to. Barkley had been discovering her body come of late, and this would be the first time she decided to make a leap of faith. Barkley did not even know beforehand that she could siphon the spirit energies of the trees, the animals, the people, or even the planet itself. But when she told them that she had been studying the art to, even with how dangerous it was, the Kai Forces knew well of what she meant. King Kai, one of the generals of the Kai Forces, especially spoken high of her ability to utilize spirit energy in her brief visit with him and vouched for her. Now here she was, validating his voucher. But she could not just yet. Garou was not done with his assault and from the tree line she sniffed out the danger and her eyes widened. He had faith in the two, she could sense that in his demeanor. Even if the energy which pooled was as dangerous as a meteor, there was a tiny peck of faith that Kotarou and Barkley could handle the situation. Even with that, Barkley’s knees trembled. His level of power grew to heights she could barely remember. She turned her head with the intent to issue an immediate retreat but what she saw shocked and awe’d her. Kotarou was leading a charge, with his comrades in the Star Wolves and various Kai Force members. As the Star Wolves and the Kai Force members fired all of their energy at the blast of certain destruction, Kotarou used nearly all of his remaining might to push at the blast as well. She was ready to act when— “Save yourself for after the moment, lovely. Then we counter attack.” They were going to give her the opening to attack. Kotarou finally gave the ball one final push and sent it toward the sky and away from the planet itself, and before long the heat, force, and atmosphere caused it to donate and a growing dome of destruction filled the entirety of the sky, blasting a pressure of wind the overtook the entire battlefield. For a moment then there was silence. The Kai Forces had all hit the ground along with Barkley at the pressure and to make sure the destruction didn’t have a chance to reach them. After Kotarou’s desperate maneuvers, right after releasing such an attack that most likely left he drained, Barkley stood up. She stood up with conviction in her eyes and she carried the one thing that Kotarou was able to give her in her stance. Hope. The aura overtook her and she had become a beacon of light again, showing that she had reached the apex of power she was absorbing and purifying. Her clothing started to regenerate, showing just how potent and powerful her new energy was. Combine that with the fact that her father made these clothes and his mysterious ability to weave in neat tricks such as self-regeneration of threads and whatnot, she almost looked like not a scratch was on her. That was only if you didn’t look at her face or her skin, which still would be battered and bruised. The wind picked up, blowing her hair about, and her eyes focused down on not just Garou but the entirety of the Fallen army once again. Kai Forces began to rise and they looked at her with awe and incredulity. Barkley was far from a General, but it was not far-fetched to ping her as their beacon of hope for this grueling battle. She never faltered. Barkley never gave up, despite the odds and she had friends and comrades that made sure of it. Now what was in-front of the Kai Forces was a woman glowing with the light of the Kais. “I didn’t speak empty words about killing your goddess to free you. I have the power to extinguish any evil, Garou.”  Barkley raised her hands up, spreading her fingers out with her palms facing her face. “My hands are burning white! They are telling me it is time to defeat you!!!! “Limit Breaker!!” The air around them erupted into an intense heat and at the notion the entire Kai Army rushed to clash with the Fallen and an all-out final brawl began. This was it. The Fallen would fall or the Kai forces would be pushed back. The final push was here. Like a shooting star Barkley rushed at Garou with her entire body cloaked in a blinding light mixed with crimson. “Take my everything!!!” She started with a combination of blows with her fists that would rattle his armor with each blow. “My Pain! My Love! And my COURAGE!!” Each time she paused there was a heavy shot with her fists. “SHINING COMBINATION!!!!!” Right after she said that Barkley would then attempt to drive her fist deep into his gut with all her might to try and send him away. She then would vanish, appearing right behind him to kick him upward into the air with a thunderous and powerful foot toward the back of his neck. She looked up toward where she anticipated him to be and she dashed upward, leaving a tail of light behind her and with both hands clamped together like a hammer and pulled back almost far enough to snap her spine. “AHHHHHH!!!!!” She swung it down with every ounce of might, much like all her attacks were in this rush and immediately pointed her fingers down toward the potentially falling Zoran. “MY LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP WILL PIERCE YOUR SPIRIT AND CLEANSE YOUR SOUL OF ALL SUFFERING! "ULTIMATE ARROW OF FRIENDSHIP!!” A massive blue beam of light shot out of her fingers, propelling her backwards with its force to collide with not only the Zoran, but to create an explosion that would rock the entire Fallen Army and bring them to their knees. Afterwards, Barkley started to float down slowly, knowing well that her power would come to an sharp end soon. If this wasn’t enough to drive them away, then it would truly be over… |
