Though Arlia has made formal agreement with the Fallen, Joseph and Yakumo have arrived planet-side to see if the King can be persuaded to change course. Trunks and Vier have taken offense to this transgression.
Joseph or Yakumo have 24 from now to get a post up or their claim is forfeit. This must be declared by the opposing forces in OS Chat to be valid.
A reminder of the rules are below:
- They will be 2v2, max. (When you begin your claim, you must name your +1. Any challengers must also name their +1 in their sneak post) - They are No Kill/Steal (if you lose, your character will be overrun by enemy forces, and you'll have to escape the planet. This doesn't require anything special from you, its just an IC excuse to end the battle) - Win Conditions: When the average damage of a side in battle reaches 50%, that side loses. If the battle reaches the end of Round 3 (standard 3 posts each per round), then the Fallen Forces lose. - Everyone will receive 4 actions per post (there is no speed action/tactician/etc). Stuns/DZ/similar techs will still work. - There is no healing of any kind. (There may be exceptions, but we'll tell you when the time comes) - Each combatant may bring in 3 prepped items. - Finishers are unusable. - In the interest of keeping this phase moving along, the 24 and 48 hour rules WILL be in affect. - Anyone that loses a battle must heal for 7 days before they may participate further.

Yakumo power flies into Arlia taking in the vast landscape and unsuppressed his power level determined to take the planet for the kai's he looks at his foes sensing them who have taken offense to this transgression though Yakumo does not care for he thinks his side is right and just also on the side of good! Yakumo calls out to his foes "Let's GO!!" as he flies really powerfully with the power of youth towards trunks and Vier he does a left roundhouse kick towards trunks then screams "DETONATE!!" as a green ki explosion flies from his foot, he then throws a quick forward right kick towards Trunks and screams the same words again as more green ki surges from his foot as he flies between them. The small human child looks between the two powerful foes he decides to now with vast determination to quickly fly by both of them punching Trunks twice with green ki being channeled into his fists as he says "GET OFF THE PLANET FALLEN!!". Despite being beaten before when he came he continues to fight on and train up he looks towards Joseph wondering what he will do. Yakumo begins to ponder in the middle of this struggle how strong his own father must be when he already came across all these powerful beings during this war. The small human child looks between both of his foes "Well show me everything you got!" he looks at them sternly they can tell this kid's eyes are filled with determination and undying courage.

After assisting Luther in repelling Lilim’s invasion and aiding in the process of establishing the Kais as allies to the Planet Joseph decided to seek out another world after the Kai’s had completed their process of requisitioning. Between Luther’s capabilities and the presence of the Kai’s forces Joseph decided that his time could be well spent in assisting the efforts against the Fallen on other planets that were not protected by the Kais.
He decided to make his next venture Aria where Yakumo someone who he had actually trained with once before was working to engage the Fallen. Joseph was curious as to Yakumo’s progression between their initial mission and their brief training together, he was looking forward to seeing him again. Joseph stood with in the ship arms folded tapping his feet repeatedly on the ground as he awaited for the ship to land, he stared out the window as he did this his minding roving around certain musing. The sound of tapping drew in the attention of one of the Kai officers compelling them to address the child. “Everything ok?” asked the Kai Forces officer. Joseph turned to the window to the man.
“Yes, I’m fine.” Joseph replied in a brusque response before turning back to the window. “Thank you,” the half-Saiyan added not wanting to lapse in his matters. Honestly though out the ride to the planet the child’s thoughts were enamored by certain muses and an growing sense of avidity that began since he was recovering from his defeat by Garou’s hands, Joseph wanted a fight, he wanted to be engaged in a good battle during this ordeal.
Even when he was fighting to ward off the Fallen invasion on Valhalla part of him couldn’t help but have wanted to have a confrontation with Lilim in some form, though he appreciated the lack of such a confrontation allowed him to secure the planet faster. The Demi-Earthling was split on his feelings, not getting to fight Lilim was a disappointment, though he understood that would have been an altercation best not had even if Luther was with him.
The child continued thinking to himself, he considered that perhaps he only wanted that fight for the sake of a fight or even to feel like he did something to impact this ordeal in a positive matter, though he may have very well accomplished the latter by acting as the guard dog that drove her away, as she may have left out of not finding her odds against both the Demi-Earthling child and Overlord favorable. The boy also felt his shouldn’t let his mind rump to such things, he was out here to deal with matters bigger than his own caprices, this was a mission to protect his loved ones on Earth as well as uphold order in the Galaxy itself so he pushed down those thoughts and steeled his mind to focus on the goal at hand.
After landing Joseph tracked down Yakumo’s signature to where he flew and stopped to look upon the horizon. He stood next to the Earthling and address him. “Sup,” Joseph said as he looked into the distance. The landscape was a large arid desert with grounds that were the iconic red of Arlia’s idiosyncratic richness of iron made for in the land, there were hills and mountains spread through out the land, the crimson grounds were covered in narrow crevices with a few small patches of greenry, the air was humid. The half-Saiyan reached his sense of spirit out, he could feel another half Saiyan, stronger than Yakumo less powerful then himself, near the Saiyan he could see another figure but not perceive an energy from it making him consider the possibility it was an Android, he scanned the area further and found there were no other presences other than the two they were looking at right now, there was no other life for dozens of miles, this was a relief to the child as that meant he could engage in this battle without having to worry about the fight resulting in casualties. He turned over and looked at Yakumo, “Ok,so-“ Joseph spoke to late for it to be noticed by the overzealous Earthling who clamored and flew off towards the enemies in the distance.
Joseph looked on with a fuddled expression as Yakumo was already far from him on his way to the other two. He put his hands around his mouth to call out the Yakumo. “Wait, I can’t fly bro.” Yakumo was still on his way so it was likely he the boy didn’t hear him. The child sighed. “I wanted to make a plan and transform first, alright.” Joseph wrapped his arms around his body making the shape of an x with his fist and wrist touching together, his blue aura flared around him and waved like a wild flame, his clothes rippled while his black bangs waved around as the force of his aura pushed out all around him. “Grrrrrr, come on.” The child’s bangs flickered yellow as he continued to growl and focus his aura became more vibrant and the ground around him cracked as his power ascended, a tremor resonated form where he stood to the battlefield. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” The azure flames shifted to gold as a shockwave bursted from the child’s postion creating a small trench in the ground as his black hair turned gold and his light brown eyes shifted to an emerald hue. A golden aura outlined him as a sound resonated through the air. Whooossssssssh, Whooosssssssssh.
The Demi Earthling then began walking back and leaned forward before kicking off on his leading left foot in a sprint. “Power Leap.” Joseph leapt off the ground traveling across the air at a preternatural distance to get to the fighting grounds and landing near where Yakumo was preparing to engage Trunks, hearing another boisterous exclamation. This guy yells a lot Joseph thought. The boy flash stepped to Yakumo and tapped his on his shoulder, same as when he did this in the fight with the Goblin’s he’d feel an outside energy enter him, fortifying his body while the energy manifested itself as blue embers that floated around him. Attacks against him would have their potency reduced and any lingering effects beyond their damage would be nullified.
After this Joseph placed his spread his hands out to each side generating two golden orbs in each palm, he placed his hands together pressing the wrist sideways to one another and merging the two orbs before releasing a volley of ki blasts from his hands. The orbs rapidly flickered as he released a barrage of vaguely arrow shaped bolts of ki at the two of them, if they attempted to evade he’d turn and home in on them.
He then placed a hand down to his side generating a small pellet between his index finger and thumb, he saw Yakumo was fighting Trunks in close quarters, he threw the pellet to the ground, making it break and generate a thin cloud of smoke that lied at the feet of the other three. “Yakumo.” Joseph said to beckon him to back away. Joseph then focused holding his hand out making the smoke thicken and spread out to cover a wider radious threatening to swallow Trunks and Vier. While inside it would feel like Joseph was everywhere with in the smokes vicinity, they would not be able to smell anything in the scentless mist, and they would only see darkness in the mass of smoke. He hoped this would inhibit prospects of them going on the offense while also facilitating his own advance. The child then sped and rushed towards Vier, he couldn’t sense them but he could channel his ki in his vision to see through his own aura manifested cloud. The child would shuffle towards Vier and circle him as he closed in to cut off his options of movements while trying to instigate a close range hand to hand exchange.
The planet of Arlia was no stranger to war. They've had their fair share of invaders in the past. Thusly the native Arlians felt little in the way of anxiety with their most recent occupancy. Many of the brutish insectoid race were overjoyed with the arrival of new warriors eager to compete in their arenas. This provided much for the King and Queen in the way of revenue and entertainment for their people so there was little for them to complain about. However, not everyone felt the same.
There were more than a few settlements outside the great city of Karuth containing refugees of the minor races which had grown quite concerned with the most recent happenings. Especially so for the more human-esque residents that built their small villages around whatever patches of vegetation the could find amidst the typical barren wasteland that covered most of the planet's surface. They were weak and few in number so it was difficult to properly defend themselves. Maintaining their daily life mostly through trade within the nearby city was hard enough on them already. The thought of war brewing terrified them and rightfully so.
One such hamlet by the name of Rellirht located further away from the city of Karuth than most was quite unnerved by the news. Among this small community was a woman by the name of Billie who referred to herself as a seer. She was always running around raving about something which kept the residents pretty high-strung. Most regarded her predictions as nothing more than the ramblings of a madwoman because they weren't always accurate but they weren't always wrong either so she still had a few believers. These past two weeks however had the entire community on edge.
Usually, Billie's message was a mixture of good and bad things happening around the small village. Never had her words about one particular subject lasted more than a few days at most before she was sputtering nonsense about something new. This time was different. Her most recent prophecy had clung to her lips much longer than any other before and spoke of the Supreme One's return. Billie had become so hysterical that many of the residents had petitioned the Chief to cast her out of the community to quell their anger.
They knew very well what her words meant and they hated her for it. If the former Emperor really did return it would spread fear far and wide throughout the universe once more. Fortunately for Billie, the Chief was an intelligent man. He understood that sending her out to fend for herself would be a pointless endeavor. The better option would for them to take the words of the prophet to heart and try to come up with a means to deter the communities suffering if and when the Supreme One's foretold arrival came to pass.
Only a few days had passed with Billie confined within the Chief's residence to prevent her from becoming a nuisance to the others when suddenly the hamlet was met with calamity. At midday when the sun was at its highest a thunderous explosion riddled the village square accompanied by an intense shockwave that nearly caused the surrounding huts to collapse. Dust and debris quickly clouded the area leaving visibility nonexistent. Luckily there were only a few injures as most of the citizens were still out tending their small fields or searching for animals among the sparse amounts of nearby forestry.
The locals gathered around quickly as a faint light flickered within the wreckage of the main square. They weren't quite sure what was going on but the crooked face of Billie and the village Chief who were first to arrive on the scene gave them the idea that their nightmares had come true. Rings of smoke bellowed out from the township's center as everyone looked on fraught with anticipation. A lone shimmering figure akin to that of the man they all knew and feared appeared from within the devastation and the crowd's faces immediately turned sour.
Back again it seems...
Everyone in the area started to panic but their clamorous behavior didn't last long. Before anyone even had a chance to run the ground started to rumble and the entire lot of onlookers were swiftly brought to their knees under the intensified quakes. Small droplets of some unknown black liquid then emerged from the planet's surface all around them and converged upon the spectral entity's location.
All the bystanders could do was watch as the fluid took a precise and direct path regardless of what might have been in the way occasionally even tearing holes through buildings and even a few unfortunate people who happened to be caught within their path. Soon a torrential wave of darkness crashed down around the phantom that left the bystanders in a fetal position with their heads covered in hopes to spare themselves from the destruction caused.
When everything finally settled the residents slowly opened their eyes and rose up to their feet. The spectral image was gone and the villager's faces showed nothing but signs of relief with their lives having been presumably spared. Loud cheers filled the area as they glanced around with no sight of the Supreme One to be found. Many assumed the black liquid simply swallowed up his soul but that was hardly the case.
Unfortunately, the citizens neglected to look up a bit higher where the former Emperor floated above them in the sky surveying the area. They didn't even realize that the fluid was composed primarily of metals and portions of his former existence that he dispersed across the universe long before. With this, he fashioned himself a new body clad in the same white strappings as he previously adorned. His was a life that could never truly be extinguished.
So, that's what's going on...
Once Vier finished analyzing the new information that had been gathered by his dormant cells he gracefully drifted back down to the surface. The tomfoolery around him swiftly returned to silence and looks of dread as his feet rested on the ground below. People already cowered in fear and he hadn't even muttered a single word yet. With the snap of his fingers reality cracked in the shape of a giant maw just outside the village. A large white van then came barreling through the void he created with a child manning the wheel.
The vehicle came to a screeching halt a short distance away from him sometime later as the villagers watched on without uttering a sound. Vier reached out with his hand and pointed at a few of the residents, all of whom were children before he pointed over to the van. He then walked over to the van and opened the back door before proceeding inside. The townspeople were reluctant but understood his desire. Tears rolled down the parent's faces as watched their children enter the darkness within the van. They knew very well that they'd never be seeing those kids again but if it meant the safety of the rest of the hamlet they couldn't bring themselves to kick up a fuss.
After the little runts enter the van its doors swung shut with a loud thud and off they went back into the void. A short time later and the mysterious white wagon appeared again some distance away from the township where Vier had detected some power fluctuations that might have held some interest. As he understood it, there was a war going on and his universe was now under siege. Strangely enough, the forces currently in conflict with one another had rarely acted so boldly out in the open like this in the past from his experience.
The moment the kiddy-carriage arrived on the scene they were already under attack. The aggressor must have known they'd be coming and set up an ambush. Fortunately, Vier grabbed the wheel just in time and gave it a quick yank to alter the course of their approach. If he didn't witness this exact scenario flash before his eyes moments prior it was unlikely the child driving would have been able to avoid a head-on collision with the multiple ki blasts that peppered the area around them. With the new route leading the candy-car to circle around the side of their assailant it was much easier to leave his onslaught trailing behind them.
Better get those dancing shoes ready...
While the van was still in motion, Vier jumped out the back doors and proceeded to strut casually towards his attacker as though he held no care in the world. His left hand sat loosely in the front pocket of his trousers while he snapped his fingers periodically with his right a maintained a steady approach. Soon after the van came to a rest a short distance away. Many children hopped out with instruments in hand and begun to play while others carried large banners that read, "I Love You," on them.
The androids gaze held his opponent snug like a nice comfy blanket as he continued forward, noting the power he possessed and the golden aura that enveloped his body. He recognized the lustrous hue as a typical trait carried by those dirty apes but was unsure if this held any connection to the boy. The little one looked like nothing more than your average child. It was possible they held some kinship with one another however the resemblance mattered little to him either way.
Vier noticed two others were nearby as well but continued to walk right past them, leaving them to dance together behind him. Neither would garner his attentions just yet. Their power was meager although this other kid throwing a fit was curiously carrying some of that other boy's essence on him. The former Emperor could tell by this that these two younglings were likely together but shrugged away from further speculations. Instead, he focused more intently on the stronger child who had already tried to assault him once and was now gathering energy at his side.
The boy wasn't much for words it seemed. There was no attempt to explain the reason or justification for his previous actions or even polite conversation for that matter but the Supreme One didn't take it to heart. He assumed the boy was just the quiet type. That was the type of child he enjoyed viery much. It wasn't long before the young one flicked some sort of compressed energy at the android although his target might have been the ones lined up behind him. He wasn't sure what this object could do he wasn't about to wait around and find out.
Without a second thought, Vier's stride sped up as he began to spin. He concentrated on lining himself up with the bead of ki's trajectory as he proceeded forward without skipping a beat. With one arm extended he swatted the projectile from the air like a fly before coming to an abrupt stop and with his eyes closed while striking a pose. His body was slightly hunched forward with his right side turned towards the boy as he crouched a bit on his right leg while his left was extended forward leaving his thighs running parallel. Meanwhile, his left hand was seated firmly on the top of his head that was tilted forward enough so that his chin was pointed towards the ground while his right arm was fully extended in the direction of his assailant.
With his palm held open, the former Emperor cast spiraling streams of energy from his fingertips in a flashy attempt to catch the little guy off guard with his seemingly pointless gestures. He then closed his fist tight to manipulate the projected ki and potentially tighten the reins around the boy's miniature frame. After releasing his spiritual essence Vier jumped up on his toes with his legs bent slightly and placed his left hand on his lower abdomen.
Shortly after, the android's eyes sprung open and his head turned towards the boy with his right arm held out while he waved with his index finger. He then dropped his front heel and slide that foot back parallel with his other foot until one passed the other, repeating this process multiple times to appear as though he took a step forwards when he actually move back. After Vier moved a few feet back his image began to flicker as his speed increased. The boy was already in pursuit, he appeared quite eager to get the drop on him but the former Emperor wanted something more.
"Now-now, let's not be too hasty little one," mocked the android in his typical dull tone.
As the child drew close Vier materialized a small sword designed to appear in the image of a cane with a diamond-encrusted hilt. It was like something you'd expect some snobby noble would be carrying around to beat away the plebs before they get too close. In a similar fashion, the Supreme One raised his cane in hand and poked at the boy's chest to brush off his advance all the while maneuvering the two of them back closer to the other group. The little guy was likely to have noticed what he was up to by now but it wouldn't interfere with his plans anyway. The fun was just getting started.
With his arm hidden behind his back, the former Emperor tossed a grenade at the weaker young boy now that they were close. He then held up his other hand in plain sight of the one who had previously given chase and snapped his fingers. It was an obvious gesture to garner the little guy's attention but he might not have noticed the two tears that appeared on the battlefield. One void scar was in front of the van while the other behind was set up behind the young boy shrouded in the vibrant golden hue.
The child behind the wheel of the candy-cart recognized the Supreme One's intention and leaped into action by stomping on the back of the other kid him who controlled the pedals in command to floor it. Moments later and the white-wagons tires were set ablaze as it burst forth through the void on a rampage intent on running down the two kids.
"Let's play..." said Vier as he altered his course of travel to circle around the duo and let out a subtle smirk.
The android's head shifted in a swift motion as his eyes darted over to the boy who he had previously ignored. His movement came to a halt shortly after and he placed one hand on his lower abdomen again to resume a previous pose. He then thrust his pelvis twice at nothing but air before he proceeded to walk in a casual manner once more. During this time his fingers snapped to the tune from his underage groupies as he continued to size up the young lad.
Vier glanced back and forth between the two boys a couple of times before he locked his gaze on the weaker of the two. He persisted to round the target once in a wide ark while he threw random snaps of his fingers as bluffs before he accelerated to the opposite side of the boy from where he was and released an invisible wave of energy at the kid's legs. Some might have seen his actions as some kind of game but the android was quite serious. He was nothing if not thorough but everything had to come to an end sometime.
"Time for some fireworks..."
With that, the former Emperor lifted off the ground and sailed up into the air while spinning from side to side. His image flashed in and out of perspective as he continued to strike one flashy pose after another and pointed towards different areas from the sky. Large scars appeared in the landscape and clouds where the heads of giant monsters appeared from the void sporting white bone-like masks akin to Vier's own. Each of their mouths opened up wide as they let loose their fearsome warcries before they alternated a bombardment upon the two children below. Meanwhile, the Supreme One in all his grandeur continued to dance around in the sky as he coordinated with his minions to continue the vicious assault.

Trunks had been fighting for months, it seemed. For every day of rest he managed to find, he had three days of skirmishes and strategising. And, even when it seemed like they had beaten back the horde of Kais, there was always more to come.
This time, it was a familiar face.
This particular commander of the Kais has fared even worse than the others - in the Grand Arena he had been struck down by a single blow, retreating quicker than he had arrived. The days after that particular battle had been almost peaceful.
But now he was back, and he had brought a friend. This second fighter was much stronger than the original boy, but neither really looked up to scratch - Trunks was quietly confident that he could overcome the odds and once again liberate Arlia from the invaders.
On the plains outside of Arloa, Trunks strolled out to meet his opponents. His black jacket had been lost some days ago, but his sword was still strapped tightly over his shoulder. His skin was dotted with cuts and scrapes, but his energy was as full as it ever was these days - and more than enough to fight off a pair of kids.
Before he could even speak to the pair, they started their attack. The more powerful boy only increased the gap between the two combatants as his hair shot upwards in a golden hue, betraying himself to be a Saiyan - or at least, partially Saiyan. Before Trunks could dwell on that further, the familiar boy started his attack.
The first kick was came from the left and struck his chest, the explosion sending him hurtling backwards - or at least, it did in his mind. A moment later the real kick came, and Trunks was ready. He took a single step backwards, just enough to get out of the way of the attack and render the explosion useless. A grin on his face, he opened his mouth to speak.
And then the assault continued.
The kick crashed into his ribs, sending him sliding backwards across the red sands of Arlia. A grimace grew on his face as the child rushed forwards with fists blazing, the tiny hands connecting with his chest and knocking the wind out of him.
The opponents might have taken the advantage if not for the figure who appeared.
A pure white van burst forth from nowhere with a screech of tires, and suddenly the action had begun. Trunks pulled his sword free from its sheath just in time as attacks hurtled at him. His sword was a blur as it knocked away attack after attack, leaving them to crash harmlessly into the ground around him. When the Super Saiyan released some kind of smoke, Trunks shook his head. There was no way this boy was a true Saiyan - no Saiyan would hide behind parlor tricks instead of getting their hands dirty in a battle.
A rush of ki spread up his sword as he gripped it in both hands, andhe thrust it forwards into the growing smoke cloud. It melted away like snow in the heat, leaving Trunks’ vision to clear - and he almost wished that it hadn’t.
The figure that had appeared was now free of his van, and strutted around the battlefield as what appeared to be a band of children played some kind of strange tune. But he was powerful - that much was for certain. The attacks he launched at the pair were devastating, even pulling forth interdimensional beasts to do his bidding. A shudder ran down Trunks’ spine - would the man be turning his attention to him next?
Trunks couldn’t think of that now - he just had to make sure that his mission here was a success. His hand flew to his belt and unclipped a small sphere that he launched forwards, exploding with a bright light and shrill noise. But long before it landed Trunks had already started to charge his attack, his purple hair billowing around him as his aura whipped up into a frenzy.
He held both of his hands forwards, a ball of ki growing in his palms. He concentrated for a second and then let loose - a trio of magnificent ki blasts that erupted upon the battlefield and engulfed it in pure ki energy. The attack would see to the soldiers of the Kai, that much was for certain - but he also found himself secretly hoping that it dealt with the white-garbed mystery warrior as well.

Yakumo came in furiously on trunks knocking him away getting ready to fight on. He sees this odd android come in with a bunch of children on candy carts and vans the way it seems to him holding out signs I love you on them. Yakumo gives the android who is grappling Joseph a weirded out expression along with the kids "uhh..." which ends up distracting Yakumo as he is hit dead-on by viers stun grenade "GAAH". Then he is about to be hit with the onslaught of all of viers attacks not being able to defend himself due to being stunned so badly , he thinks why are these kids doing what he says he hopes Josephs ward and maybe Joseph will help protect him then he sees these odd little creatures that seem where made from his own blood and his own green ki who begin to try and harm Yakumo. Yakumo then turns his attention to the knocked away trunks who he sees is clearly about to blast him with something as three ion blasts come towards Yakumo the first one is about to hit him due him being stunned and he regains his composure he swipes away the second ion blast using a technique as he screams "DEFLECT" then he sees that third ion blast which then he screams "KIAI" completely dispersing that one into bits of ki around him. He screams to Joseph "IF YOU HAVE A IDEA NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME!" Yakumo looks to the children with courage "you don't have to do what he says he is a weirdo you are free-willed free yourself from him!" Yakumo being determined gets ready putting himself into a fighting stance "Now if you both don't have any more dirty tricks like stunning us with grenades I am ready to come at you!" as he looks at trunks with determination in his eyes

Damage Reduction: -30% Against Trunks&Vier Mark of the Kais: Double Damage on Good only Techniques
When the White Garbed warrior approach the Demi-Earthling looked on with a perplexed expression at the spectacle that he was looking at. “Is that a van? With a bunch of kids in it?” Joseph questioned to himself as he was running towards the stranger, as this surprise was sinking in. This would be a complication, he had come with the intent to fight in isolation from all but the warriors in the current fight. He thought about what he should do to work around the presence of so many young non-fighters on the battlefield, but he was denied the time to hold on to that train of thought as he was met with a counter attack in the form of streams of energy coming for him.
While he continued moving forward he raised his hands to the level of his nose and eyes, putting his arms straight and his elbows against his body. He continued moving forward towards the man darting his head side to side to slip to the outside of the attacks path, and sloping and rolling his head and waist lower to weave as he got closer, with one land with one last motion of his head and waist to the side made it in range to deliver a strike at his flamboyant adversary. He lowered in a semi-crotch before putting his weight forward and then bursting into a short leap and his swung his arm extending it and sharply bending it as he attempted to deliver a heavy punch to the stomach of Vier hoping to wear him down and wind him with a powerful strike. His advanced was stifled by a strike from Vier’s cane that caused him to stumble and recoil back.
The vehicular attack came to quickly from void and Joseph only had time to notice before he was hit by this Van and sent rolling back yards across the ground. The boy was left lying on the ground groaning as he rolled over to the side starting to get up through the throbbing pain that resonated through out his body. Until now he never thought that he could get hurt being hit by a car of all things, well besides one instance with a scarlet clad maniac that tried to run him down in a trunk.
He looked up eyes widening at the sight of harrowing figures occupying the air making noises before coming down with a precarious storm of energy. During the initial part of the bombardment Joseph rose his hand to the sky a blue orb of light manifested in his palms as it intercepted blasts, absorbing and getting bigger. He thought about unleashing this assimilating energy, but that wouldn’t have been wise right at this moment, he was disoriented now and could risk hitting the children. He absorbed it and sped to the side dashing left and right, a shockwave from a blast he narrowly avoided tripped him up causing him to fall and lie prone for more massive blast to come upon him. He groaned and forced himself to rise to his feet quickly, he wished he could have rushed in to guard Yakumo, but now he had to put faith in the warding effect he placed on him for now.
As more Blast came Joseph held a hand out drawing in more of the raining bolts of energy and absorbing them into an azure sphere as he continued running, he jumped, flipped, and shuffled side to side to avoid the rest of the storm trying to get close to his ally and the other opponent.
The boy spread out his hands looking towards Vier and feeling Trunks energy, he held each hand out towards each of them and began firing bolts of blast made from the energy commandeered and modified by Joseph’s own aura, In the case of Vier he made sure to look to see where the Android was positioned and had the blast arc to come straight down at the Android and hit the ground if they missed, so that if Vier avoided them they would fly off as stray blast that could hit the kids, but rather just impact the ground making a small gold ball sized crater as they bursted a good distance from the wherever the kids would be as he made sure he would have the blast trail him to much if he got dangerously close to the children, the volume of blast would eventually kick up a great deal of dust that Joseph would fuse the renanents of his expended energy with to help serve as smoke screen against the two opponents. Before he could get to close to Trunks he was caught off guard by a tactical explosive that overloaded and fuddled his senses with a bright flash and paining nose.
He grunted and steeled himself to regain focus as his senses were elated by another surge of energy from Trunks, he moved in and held his two hands out as the first burst of energy was released. Joseph fired off the commandeered attack he had acquired earlier trying to intercept Trunks own burst of energy and use the power of the stronger combatant to contain Trunks Blast. If this was successful then Trunk’s opening blast would only make a small crater not spreading beyond where he stood upon creating the blast, protecting Joseph and the kidnapped children.
Either way this stolen energy would run out and Joseph found himself enduring more blast that sent him flying across the battlefield, landing on his back and lying prone on the ground before hearing Yakumo exclaim once again. The Demi-Earthling sounded a groan as he slowly stood himself up on shaky legs, his gui was tattered, riddled with wholes, and covered in dirt and also smoking from the heat of the seemingly endless assault from the other two warriors. Joseph said as he held his fist out in a fighting stance, keeping his legs narrow to move quickly when he’d need to. “Honestly, I’ve been improvising.” Joseph answered.
Vier's eyes widened as his central processor alerted him to a surprise. Although the android held no capacity to feel, he could still process the damage received. It also seemed the child tried to harm him with some type of adverse effect as well. His body naturally rid himself of this abnormality but that fact that he was struck was unexpected.
It appeared that Joseph wasn't just a weak little boy as his appearance might lead one to believe. The way he weaved his body through the strands off ki and then punch the android in the gut was similar to the actions of a seasoned warrior rather than that of a child. This reaffirmed the former Emperor's prior speculations, that the boy did share some lineage with that of the Saiyan race. The child's instincts were quite strong even if he didn't quite look the part.
Unfortunately, these innate abilities couldn't hold a candle to innovative machinery, and the boy was quickly swept off his feet. His persistence was quite admirable though. Every time he was knocked down, he got back up. His will was indeed strong. Even the offspring of an average child's nightmares couldn't force him to bend or break. A glutton for punishment in every sense the halfling seemed to prefer getting closer with much bigger prey as he released his barrage of energy in retaliation.
"So you really do want to play."
The Supreme One had no desire to disappoint a child, least of all one who seemed interested in a little bump'n'grind. Instead, he bore down the blasts head-on with his cane in hand. After the nonsense spouted by the weaker child, Vier aimed to strike each projectile closer to the kids that composed his makeshift band as his arms swung around at the elbow with each strut forward in sync with the beat of the music. His intention wasn't to harm his minions but just to watch them squirm under the pressure.
With Yakumo's expressed concern for their wellbeing, the concept that this other child felt similar also crossed the android's mind. It was righteous thoughts like these that spelled disaster for even the mightiest of heroes and Vier was curious how for these two would go to protect their ideals. Unfortunately, the former Emperor's plans were dashed by the older fellow who decided to put a damper on the mood and wiped them all out.
Vier's head jerked to the side as the music stopped when the children were consumed by the torrent of ki Trunks unleashed. He wasn't concerned about their lives in the least, there were always more of them. Instead, it was the 'why' that had him intrigued. For the moment he pondered the possibility that the guy didn't share the same taste in music but with hair of that shade it was obvious that he wasn't so picky. Another likelihood was that perhaps the young man just held little regard for those around him and simply wanted to cleanse the area.
Regardless of the teen's reasoning, the android would indulge himself at every opportunity, and now would be no different. Rather than dwell on uncertainty for very long, Vier gorged himself on the young man's essence, sucking up every last drop he could before he tossed his cane back into a void crevice that opened up beside him. As thanks for the meal, he snapped his fingers, and a new set of little groupies showed up from within the void playing a more befitting tune.
It was time to get down to business, some children needed to be punished. The android believed that one's actions should carry consequences and right now Joseph was acting like a dirty thief. Perhaps he thought that such uncivilized activities could elude the former Emperor's eyes but he would be sadly mistaken. Vier's gaze returned to the boy as he opened a hole to the void overtop the dust cloud that the little guy tried so eagerly to hide his shame in and sucked it up like a vacuum, it would be of no use to this kid. The pink-haired punk should have no trouble keeping him occupied now and with one pest out of the way for the moment, the Supreme One could focus his attention on the other boy.
It was becoming clear that this little guy was attention starved even despite the android's efforts to keep him entertained. He was probably more used to being the center of everyone's attention and was upset because it seemed like Vier had overlooked that. However, that was hardly the case and he had just the remedy to clear any doubt the child might have had.
"Worry not, young lad. I haven't forgotten about you," spoke the android as he descended towards Yakumo while he kicked his legs out in long strides.
Vier's mind contained a vast array of knowledge from all parts of the universe and beyond. The best solution he thought of to bring two people closer was to bind them together as one. Although it seemed a bit farfetched, he raced towards Yakumo and stretched out his hand releasing a glowing green chain. He then flew around the boy at high speeds to try and tie him up like a neatly wrapped present, one that would be just for him.
Normally the former Emperor would be pleased with work, he always excelled at packaging gifts but this time something was different. There was still a chance that this boy wouldn't understand him and wiggle his way out with that short, lithe body of his. Vier wasn't about to let him end their time together prematurely. He had to do something and fast. The usual means probably just wouldn't cut it (he was out of chloroform anyway). So the android jumped out in front of Yakumo and threw his hands up in the air as if to say surprise. At the same time, he altered the nanomachines that composed his body to reflect beams of light from the burning hot sun that fell upon him towards the boy's eyes.
With this Yakumo was less likely to be running around so haphazardly as he was before. Resisting the Supreme One's charms was a tough sell for any young lad however leaving a kid to their own devices was likely to come back around and bite him. Without his usual means of incapacitation available, Vier would have to get a little rough with the boy. Time was wasting and so the android took flight, dashing in circles around Yakumo as he feigned attacks. After a few laps, he built up significant speed until finally, he lunged at the kid's chest in a full-on charge.
Vier considered the potential of the child's body crumbling under his weight but proceeded to throw himself at him multiple times anyway. He decided it was better to be sure he could put the lad down for a nap. The boy was a warrior in his mind, even if only an amateur. At the very least the little guy must have trusted in his own hardiness, he did after all decide to wander this battlefield. The former Emperor further surmised that it was entirely possible that these two boys were part of the main force that was invading this planet on behalf of their masters. Things wouldn't bode well for either of them if that was the case, if this toy happened to break there was always another.
