Legion: Combat Rune | Recoome: Nothing
BalialToday at 6:47 PM
Static from the communication devices began to sound off. Legion pressed the small green rectangular that rested on the side of his captain's chair. "What do you want." Legion said with a sour expression and tone. The ship was docked in the frosty blizzards of Pefu and somehow he had managed to find him. Recoome.
RecoomeToday at 6:50 PM
In one of the many bars on Planet Frieza, Recoome lounged back in a high chair with a mug of mead sitting in front of him, condensation starting to gather on the outside of the vessel. "Recoome heard a rumour that a certain somebody was crucial in defending Mortoseth - Overlord Verglas was very complimentary. Do you have news?"
BalialToday at 6:54 PM
Legion was seething at the sound of the Orange Brute's voice. The nonchalant flow of his voice just boiled his blood. "Pass my thanks to Overlord Verglas next time you hear back from him," the Tempest of Souls started as he waved one of the lackeys to grab him a drink.
"The invasion was hard fought, honestly I went in underestimating my opponents. But, with Overlord Verglas' oversight we fought them off and claimed back Mortoseth." Legion paused as he pressed the glass his minion had brought him against his lips.

Recoome couldn't hold back a bark of laughter that echoed down the communications device built in to his scouter. "Perhaps Recoome would have expected Verglas to struggle dealing with such whelps, but Recoome was of the opinion that you were made of tougher stuff - did Damaskia teach you nothing?"
BalialToday at 6:58 PM
Legion growled at the behemoth's laughter, his face twisted in seething rage. "Damaskia made me cocky, you sent me on a suicide mission and victory was within grasp." Legion began and then quickly silenced himself with a large gulp of his chalice. "Both battles taught me things though, the next battle will not go easily for whoever faces me."
RecoomeToday at 7:00 PM
Recoome's grin spread even wider as he felt Legion's anger through the communicator. "Ah, but every suicide mission has the potential to turn into something great - unfortunately for you, it turned out to be neither." He reached for his own drink and took a long draught, wiping the back of his hand across his mouth. "Recoome is almost mistaking those words for confidence - are you so sure about your abilities?"
BalialToday at 7:03 PM
Legion's finger tapped steadily against the arm of his commander's chair. "You're wrong there, Lord Recoome. It is the suicide mission you embarked me on as well as your referral that brought me into the light and eyeline of Lord Frost." His finger stopped instantly, a soft thud no longer present as he spoke through the communicator. "No, not confidence, experience and determination."

As the barmaid looked over at Recoome he raised a hand. She walked over quickly and he placed a small round object on the table. It wasn't money, but a token of the Planet Trade Organisation - a sign that they would be covering the bill today. With a nod to her he downed the rest of his drink and stood up.
Ki enveloped him, and a second later he stood on the bridge of Legion's ship. "Recoome must have misheard you over the communicator," he said, his deep voice booming around the bridge. "Because Recoome could not hear your words of thanks."
