Earth was long behind now. Chilled had left the human's homeworld swiftly after gathering up his new troops from Master Roshi's island. There was much for him to do elsewhere in the universe. Particularly back on Planet Frieza. The Changeling's minions, Cabira and Toobi, did well in their master's absence when infiltrating the Planet Trade Organization. However, their current rank was far too low to gather any decent information. That was something Chilled would need to change if he wanted to enact his revenge against the usurpers that sealed him away and stole his everything out from under him - all in due time.
Chilled was a patient individual when it came to enacting his plans. He'd much rather torment his enemies and watch them dance in the palm of his as opposed to snuffing them out so quickly. To that end, he would need to push his minions to the top while keeping himself shrouded in darkness. The Changeling's first order of business was to get his soldiers some proper training after the debacle he'd witnessed at Master Roshi's.
The Ancestor was seated in a hoverchair on the bridge of his spaceship, reviewing the information he had received. He couldn't help but let out a sigh after viewing the footage from the floating screen before him. Roshi's training regiment was even more ridiculous than he had anticipated. Chilled was certain his troops learned nothing from their time with the old foggy. Fortunately, the extensive amount of time they wasted on that backwater planet was not his own. Changes had to be made for them to reach the level of skill he desired.
Cabira and Toobi were present alongside their master as usual. They were diligently attending to their various duties to ensure their travel back to Planet Frieza went smoothly. Mistakes were not something their lord would forgive so easily. A dozen or so other soldiers had their faces buried in computer screens scattered about the room as well. They all trembled in unison with every groan of the Changeling's discontent. Although they hadn't known their new master for long, all of them understood that his displeasure could very well mean their lives.
"Please excuse the interruption, my Lord," said Cabira after he turned around to salute his master.
Chilled waved his hand to the side and dispersed the floating screen. "Very well, what is it?"
"I'd like to inform you that we should be arriving on Planet Frieza momentarily. I'd also like to report that I've received word from my superior within the PTO. It appears he has assigned me a task," continued Cabira while he remained steadfast in his posture to maintain his salute.
A crooked smile crept over the Changeling's face in response to the delight he felt by his minion's words. This was the first good news he'd heard since they left Planet Earth in a trail of space dust behind them. "Fantastic," said Chilled as he lifted his hand and motioned to Cabira with a curling finger. "Give me the files at once."
Another floating screen appeared before Chilled as leaned back in his chair.
Another floating screen appeared before the Changeling's eyes. He leaned back in his chair and perused the details of the mission. The assignment was for an escort between the capital Frieza another city far in the north called Shimo. Once there, they were to negotiate means of trade and the stationing of PTO personal for their protection. Though Chilled didn't want to admit it, this was a wise move for Frost to make. Shimo, much like many other northern cities, had been having their share of problems lately with the local wildlife. And then there were the rebels that plagued the area. Both issues would need to be taken care of to ensure Shimo could maintain itself.

“Alright here we go.” Kuriza said as he walked towards headquarters to meet with Commander Spade It’s been a week since Kuriza had gotten his team together, and still Kuriza had failed to get Fasha to join the team. He sent Farrow to extend the invitation but she was out on a mission. Time was up, Kuriza had to go into his next mission with what he had. The only member remaining was Sage, who was at the training facilities at the dojo. Kuriza walked into the briefing room, And to his delight Commander Spade was at the head of the table going over something with Fasha. After saluting, the commander Kuriza took a seat at the table and prepared for the details for his next mission. “Alright grunt listen up! The capitol is sending an emergency caravan to Shimo. The northern region’s cities have been ransacked by the rebels. In a show of good faith we hope to also negotiate a trading line with them in hopes we could station more troops there to finally destroy those damned traitors. This will be a fairly delicate matter but do not let your guard down. Send some of the newer troops with you so they can gain some Field experience. The remainder will be escorting your reinforcements in case of any mishaps. It is vital to the PTO that this is a success. Get there and get back am I clear?” “Sir yes sir.” Kuriza responded already, beginning to figure out the best course of action.
Commander Spade stood and gave a salute. Kuriza returned the gesture and the commander turned to leave the room. “I'll bring a few of the Blood Brothers with me. I need to test their Loyalty.” Kuriza thought to himself, in reality he wanted to make sure he could trust Farrow. Sage had a nature about him that Kuriza never had to question but Farrow was much different. Farrow reminded Kuriza of himself and with that he should be watched at all times. “If the Blood Brothers show undeniable loyalty to me I can know for sure that he is to be trusted” Kuriza knew how he would test them right from the beginning. They are all used to taking orders from Farrow. He knew they would listen to him but for this mission he was putting Sage in charge and they would have their orders from him, Sage was the best man for the job. His interpersonal skills make him a nature leader and a trusted diplomat. All he needed was the right grooming.
Kuriza looked over to Fasha. I'll Get the troops together, go ahead of me and make sure the caravan is ready to go and ill meet you at the gate. Kuriza walked out of the briefing room in route to the dojo. Sage usually had the new recruits run drills for warm ups. Upon arrival, Kuriza decided to stay and observe for a moment before interrupting. He wanted to see how he can control a room of people who are all stronger than him and to Kuriza's surprise the recruits showed much respect for him. “Actually it doesn't surprise me. Ever since I took him with me from the dojo he's been training. He's the first to show up and the last to leave. If anything that's reason enough to be respected.
“Recruits!” Kuriza yelled and all the troops fell into formation. Tight rows from the front to the back of the dojo. The recruits stood at attention as they awaited their orders. Kuriza walked the lines, making sure everyone was where they should. Inspecting them one by one to make his decision of who would benefit the most from the mission. “You, you, and how about you. Head to the front. And how about You, you, and you. The six recruits hurried to the front of the dojo and stood to face Kuriza. The other recruits quickly readjusted their ranks to once again from the tight rows. “Sage takes those recruits to the armor and has them fitted. They will be accompanying you on our mission.” As sage led the recruits out of the building Kuriza continued giving instruction to the rest of the recruits. The first six were Blood Brothers so to keep up appearances Kuriza selected two more, one to be his personal escort. The other for Fasha “For the remainder of you, there will be a support unit coming soon. You are to escort its passengers to Shimo and rendezvous with the unit there, understood?” Sir yes Sir!” They responded and he and the two recruits left the dojo to meet Sage and the others.
The armory was a short walk from the dojo. Sage’s team was suited and ready waiting for orders as the last two recruits began to get their gear on. “Alright, Sage your team will be on the ground. We are escorting a caravan. Three on each side, two towards the front, two in the middle, two at the rear. Sage you will lead in front. Do not break formation for any reason. We three will trail behind you in the air to protect you all from any surprises that may occur. Fasha will be accompanying you in case that indeed did happen. In any and all circumstances you are to continue forward. Do not engage! That is what we are here for. You two, I want you to be watching the areas around the caravan, and you to make sure we are not being followed. I will keep my eyes on the caravan to make sure everything goes smoothly. Is that clear?” Kuriza said, making sure everyone understood their individual roles. “Sir yes sir!” As the last two recruits finished equipping their gear and Kuriza led the team out of the armory and off to the front gates where hopefully the caravan was waiting, ready to head out. “Get there and get back, got it.” He thought to himself as he was approaching the gate.
Fasha was surprised to see Kuriza in her meeting with Commander Spade. She had heard one of his henchmen was looking for her days prior, and with this briefing before their journey she now knew why. They were tasked with protecting a caravan headed to Shimo in the northern region. It seemed as if the organisation was gaining confidence in the saiyan she was being sent out on missions that were progressively getting more challenging and important. Guarding a caravan however seemed a little boring especially with all the troops that were being sent. Fasha was not one to question authority however and kept her personal opinions to herself.
Kuriza had informed her that he would be gathering the troops that would accompany them and she should make sure the caravan was ready for departure. She hated taking orders from the changeling, but he had a point. Best to make sure no sabotage could be committed before they departed. Fasha rushed over to the caravan leaving a trail of ki in the sky as she flew at top speed. When she arrived she saw several vehicles that resembled floating eighteen wheel trucks. As they hoovered in place Fasha got closer to inspect them. She flipped the latch and opened the garage style door on the vehicle that made up the rear of the caravan. She couldn't resist the curiosity inside of her. The door lifted allowing the light from outside to illuminate its contents.
“Weapons,” Fasha’s eyebrows rose as she noted the many ki blasters in the rear vehicle. This did not satisfy her curiosity however. Now she wanted to know just what else she would be helping transport. She closed the door softly and locked it back before moving to the next hoovering truck. As she got closer to the second truck she could hear what sounded like muffled screams coming from inside. She reached out towards the latch and hesitated for just a moment wondering what or whom could be inside, contemplating if she could live with the answers she would receive by opening the door. “Screw it,” she said as she quickly popped open the latch and through the door open.
“HELP US!!,” screams erupted from the back of the truck and Fasha saw aliens of every race stuffed in the back like sardines. One face stuck out in the crowd. Fasha was almost sure she had fought this man during the attack on her graduation ceremony. Then it hit her.
“You must be the people who started that riot Kuriza and I stopped” she let out a loud bellowing laugh and then slammed the door closed and locked it behind her. “Burn in Hell,” Fasha hoped these people were being shipped to their deaths for their actions against the PTO. She then walked up to the cab of the hoover trailer and approached the driver. “You've got some precious cargo back there buddy. I'm gonna make sure you get it there safe,” she said in a sarcastic tone giving the driver a thumbs up as she did so. She then lifted a leg up behind her and leaned on the truck waiting for her comrades.
"Don't even bother with landing the ship and keep the cloaking device active," barked the Changeling as he straightened up his posture in his chair. "Cabira, Toobi, you'll take the ship and head over to Shimo city to await further orders. It seems some guests will be joining us in this endeavor, so I'll head out on foot from here."
Chilled's minions that littered the room offered him a salute as he floated off down the hall towards the hanger in his hoverchair. Mari, the little cat-kin girl he picked up back on Planet Earth, had followed him along albeit unwillingly. A few moments ago, she lay on the floor at the foot of her master. Now, she was bound by a leash and caged at his side. Her clothing was bloodstained and in tatters, a result of the abuse she received the night before.
Soon the ship arrived above their destination, military base 001. The hangar doors retracted themselves into the surrounding walls and floor, allowing a flurry of wind to enter the room. The Changeling smirked as he flew out into the sky with a burst of violet Ki and begun his descent towards his new entourage.
With this mission, Chilled would be one step closer to obtaining his desire. He never expected to be so fortunate enough to have an opportunity like this fall right into his lap by Frost's command. Shimo wasn't just an average city like the others but a mining city that focused primarily on the production of armaments for the Planet Trade Organization. Particularly, those that contained a high concentration of glacial ore, a rare metal in the universe, and specialty product of this city alone. Now, it seemed Chilled would have the chance to get his hands on this powerful equipment for his soldiers and if he had anything to say about it - a cut of the profits from this trade arrangement.
"Like taking candy from a baby," he muttered to himself while he and his slave-girl arrived at the military base 001.
Six soldiers were waiting outside the facility, fully suited in tactical gear, and ready to go when Chilled arrived. They offered him a salute in unison as he touched down onto the ground. It was quite the display of courtesy, but it would garner no favors from the Changeling. If they showed him any less respect than that, he would've turned them to ash on sight; that much was normal for him.
"Greetings and salutations. You young chaps must be the ones who'll be accompanying us," spoke Chilled as glanced over the troops provided to him for this mission. "You may address me as Lord Chilled."
There wasn't much worthy of note about these men aside from their equipment. All of the soldiers were so weak that he could barely detect their power levels; his scouter confirmed as much. It was unlikely they would make it back alive without some form of assistance. Unfortunately, they would find no grace from, Chilled - weaklings were meant to be crushed beneath his feet.
"Come along now, best not be late for our reservation." Chilled was eager to get things underway and was already mid-turn when one man called out to him.
"Excuse me, Sir," spoke a tall man with yellow skin and long white locks of hair, that stepped forward from the rest of his compatriots. "I think we should confirm the details of the request, should we not?"
"Well now, aren't you cute," Chilled responded as he turned back and raised one hand while pointing at the man with his finger.
Mari let out a yelp as she struggled to cover her eyes from what was to come, which made the rest of the troops noticeably uncomfortable. A small orb flickered into existence a few inches away from the Changeling's finger before a violet beam of Ki punched a hole the size of his fist, clean through the man's head. Tiny bits of his brain, blood, and remnants of his skull, was splattered all over his fellow troops as they stood in shock of what just happened.
"Anyone else?" queried the Changeling as his eyes glided over the soldiers once more. As he expected, none of them uttered a single word this time. "Fabulous! You lot must be quick learners. I'm sure we'll all get along swimmingly. Off we go."
Chilled then turned his back to the soldiers while his eyes flashed with a violet hue. He was certain that these men would only slow him down - he wouldn't tolerate any of that nonsense. A swath of his spiritual energy synchronized with his eyes and wrapped up the men in a cloud of haze. He then wrenched the group from their feet before darting off into the sky in pursuit of the convoy, dragging his new soldiers behind him. Mere moments later, Chilled arrived at the northern gates where the convoy was ready and waiting. It was indeed the right choice for him to take the soldiers with him rather than leave them to their own devices. There the changeling found the rest of their entourage standing by.
"Greetings, little ones," said the Changeling as he descended next to the frontmost hauler and released his mental grasp on the soldiers. Many of them started to vomit the moment they touched the ground - the most unfortunate side-effect of flying at such high speeds when not accustomed to it. "Do pardon our intrusion. They've been eager to meet you all."
The revolting look on the faces of the surrounding escort present with the convoy was reminiscent of the Changeling's past - he nearly forgot to introduce himself. "There's no need to feel frightened. You may address me as Lord Chilled. I'll be accompanying you on this journey. Do be sure to take care of me." With his introduction complete, Chilled let out a subtle smirk as he relished in the glares of uncertainty he received from his fellow travelers. He was sure that this excursion would be the most interesting one since his revival.

Kuriza looked forward at the troops assembled at the gate. "Such a large force for essentially a delivery force." He thought to himself. It had to be something commander spade wasn't telling him. Kuriza thought ack to his encounter with the ice wolves. Sage and Fasha did an outstanding job, all of these troops weren't necessary. Kuriza had heard rumors that the reels had started to become more organized. After the attack at graduation Kuriza knew to keep an eye out for any information dealing with the rebels. Sage, who to an extent was Kuriza's eyes and ears around the capitol. Sage had a way with words that place him usually in the mist of very important people, a substantial reason Kuriza was ale to see the success that he had as of late.
The Caravan came into view as he approached Fasha and the others. sage quickly gathered his team in position. While Kuriza stood and indulged in the pleasantries Sage had got his six together and headed out leading the caravan out of the capitol towards the north. The Blood Brothers all taking their individual spots as Kuriza instructed, three on each side leaving Sage the front to lead. Kuriza would follow from Behind with a recruit of his own to watch his rear so he didn't have to stay, it would e wise to arrive there before it got too dark. Sage shuddered, remembering how difficult it was to fight the ice wolves in the dark. He looked at his arm. There were scared from where he needed stitches from his bout with the wolves. Sage refused to allow that to distract him though. The mission was to arrive on time and keep the cargo safe, under any mean necessary. Sage led on his squad right behind him, heads on swivels alert for any threat.
Fasha leaned on the truck impatiently. She was under the impression they would be departing immediately. After taking a glimpse at some of the cargo they would be transporting, she was even more eager to get the show on the road. She wondered where the soldiers Kuriza had mentioned were. She was certain he understood how important it was to get the convoy to its destination not only safely but in a timely fashion.
"I will not be punished for a late arrival." She exclaimed as she slammed her balled fist into the driver's side door of the large hovering vehicle leaving a large dent. The craft rocked violently several times before settling back in its original position. When it stopped moving the driver of the craft could be seen lifting his head up slowly with his eyes wide and full of panic. The alien man let out a whimper in fear, probably assuming his life would soon be over. Fasha turned her attention to him but before she could get out a word her scouter began to alert her of an unusually high power level. “There!,” she exclaimed as the digital display pinpointed the source. What she saw looked like a blur of pure energy and it was coming in fast. Fasha was immediately on her guard. Then just as fast as it appeared it vanished right in front of the convoy. “Oh so the cavalry has finally arrived,” in the place of the energy blur was now a changeling and a group of armored and armed troops.
In the distance Kuriza could be seen with a group of armed men with them as well. When all the forces had consolidated on the caravan the journey began. leaving Kuriza and the other changeling to play their parts as they saw fit. Fasha stayed near the rear of the caravan as they progressed through icy terrain of planet Frieza. She would see to it personally that these prisoners be delivered. She flew atop the now dented cab of the truck landing on the roof. She wondered to herself why so many troops for these weaklings? Had information been leaked of their capture and transport? Surely there was something Commander spade was omitting when he gave this mission brief, but such was to be expected. A grunt rarely got the full story in the PTO. Fasha thought herself lucky to not have been used as fodder for one of the organisation's grand schemes. Many thoughts crossed the mind of the saiyan woman as she scanned for threats in the distance. The most disturbing thought however was that of the changeling her scouter picked up earlier. He seemed to be a cut above the rest of them and the men he led to the convoy earlier looked absolutely terrified just to be in his presence.
The convoy continued north. The city had yet to come into sight and the temperature continued to drop the further they traveled. Every gust of wind now stung the exposed skin on Fasha’s face this mission although uneventful so far was beginning to become uncomfortable for her. “Hey can we speed this up,” she yelled to the driver of the truck she stood on. Once again her impatiens had gotten the best of her.
“Well what do you want me to do?,” the driver responded.
“Swerve around them and put the pedal to the floor!,” The driver disobeyed Fasha for just a moment and she stomped on the roof signaling she meant what she said. The alien driver whipped the steering wheel to the left narrowly avoiding the armed soldiers on the side of the convoy before mashing the accelerator. “That's one, that's two,” she said to herself as they passed the other vehicles. Before she could get to the count of three her scouter went off this time signaling several power levels coming from the left side of the caravan. A ki blast came racing in from the distance and Fasha fired one of her own canceling it out. “THERE HERE DOZENS OF THEM!,” she yelled out to her comrades. She jumped from the roof of the truck and flew up to the drivers window. “Whatever you do, keep this thing moving. Got it,” he nodded in response. The uncomfortable feelings of the cold had been all but forgotten at this point. She was ready to once again prove she belonged in this organisation.
When the remaining PTO associates arrived, the motorcade had finally begun their journey. It was a smooth ride for the most part. Chilled wasn't expecting much in the way of opposition, considering this was a planet where the Changeling race was particularly dominant. Frost held a firm grasp over the races that occupied the majority of the planet's population for a while now, or so he was led to believe.
Strangely enough, some stubborn fools decided to try and ransack this caravan anyway. Chilled found their appearance quite unexpected, although not entirely unwelcome. He had become rather bored of poking fun at Mari this whole time - who was locked in a cage attached to his hoverchair. Chilled wasn't the type to suppress his spiritual essence; that's what made their appearance seem odd to him. He would often flaunt his power like a fur coat, and yet these halfwits still decided to express hostility towards them.
The Changeling could only surmise that these pursuers lacked sufficient information about their objective and lacked any means of detecting power levels. It was also possible that they were confident in their skills, but after seeing the scouter readings, he felt there was a better chance of the former assumption. As for their reasoning, Chilled could only assume that the cargo they were carrying was worth their lives.
"Oh my, how cute. The locals have arrived," said Chilled before he brought his hand up to his lips and let out a light chuckle, as though he made some kind of joke. "Let's speed things up then, shall we?"
The Changelings words were coarse; he'd grown tired of being idle this whole time. With the wave of his hand, Chilled flooded the area with his Ki. He used this energy to snatch up everyone and everything in the vicinity within his telekinetic powers. Once enveloped within his will, Chilled propelled the convoy and its guards forward, speeding up their arrival to the city by a tremendous degree. At the same time, he pulled all its would-be attackers together into a crumpled up mess of flesh and bone as he followed along closely behind.
A few moments later, they had all reached Shimo's city gates where their host was waiting for them. A man clad in the traditional PTO uniform surrounded by his guards stepped forward and directed them to a facility where the cargo would be dropped off. Chilled dropped the pile of mushy slop he created outside the city walls before following them in. It was time for the leader of the motorcade and Shimo city to get down to business, discussing their future trade. The Changeling would hardly spare himself the opportunity to secure some useful supplies and accompanied them into an office, taking up a position at the head of a large round table. He was eager to attend this transaction by any means and obtain some benefits now that he was here.
Arriving to Shimo city was a lot easier with Lord Chilled’s help. As sage got his troops together Kuriza made his way inside the gates to drop off the cargo.” Kuriza walked to the man that greeted them. “We have also provided a significant boost to your military ranks. Lord Frosts only wish’s to help you eliminate our mutual enemy.” Kuriza said as he looked over to the members of the Blood Brothers he brought along. The six members that helped guard the van were to be traded to Shimo along with a few more recruits Kuriza picked out. Kuriza looked over to Chilled. He could tell that he was working his own angle. There was no need to step on toes, with the Blood Brothers staying within the walls of Shimo they would regain a stronghold in the norther regions regardless on how his negotiations went.
Kuriza allowed the Chill to proceed without interruption. His job was done and his presence in Shimo city was now solidified. It was time to head home. Kuriza walked up to sage and congratulated him on a job well done. “You followed orders to a tee, good work now get the team together and prepare them for the trip home. Make sure they get some water and some rest we won’t be stopping until we reach the capital.”understood” sage replied as he rushed over to his troops getting them to start gathering their things. There was one last caravan that remained outside of the gates with the the other men. It was the one fasha had been guarding. Kuriza walked up to it and could hear the sounds of people yelling for help. Kuriza was fasha standing by the truck. “Where heading out in a few, you did good out there I appreciate your help. I got to finish getting everyone else together for the trip back, I’ll see you around sometime and we can spar or something?”
“HELL YEAH! NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!” Fasha yelled in excitement as after the exhilarating ride chilled had given them. Although she was disappointed she couldnt get rid of the attackers herself, witnessing this great power on display was more than enough entertainment. The party began to disband with each person escorting their chosen hovercraft to its destination. Fasha stayed with the prisoners she had taken on the personal duty of seeing them through to the end. She stood atop the truck as Kuriza approached offering unexpected compliments. “Sure i've been meaning to test out my abilities on you personally changeling.” she replied. With that interaction done she then stomped on the roof of the cab once more and the driver began taking them to their final destination.
They pulled up at a large stone building with walls that seemed to almost touch the sky. “Shimo prison,'' the driver said, reaching his hand to the roof of the cab and tapping it. Several guards led them through a gate which led to an underground prison and the cargo was parked. The driver was instructed to exit the vehicle and stand a safe distance away as was Fasha. “No thanks, I think i'll watch,'' she said as she flew to the back of the truck to get a view of what was to happen to the captured lot.Eight guards surrounded the back of the truck, the latch was unlocked and opened revealing the poor souls trapped inside. Still some pleaded even in their last moments. While others came to terms with their fate and sat silently awaiting the end of the suffering. One guard took a step forward and spoke to the prisoners directly.
“Good evening poor devils. You have been sentenced to death by lord frost himself. It pains me to say today the city of shimo shall have blood on her hands. However better yours than ours,” he then turned to his men giving them a signal. They all removed ki blasters from their holsters. “Ready men,” the group then took aim at the cargo container, all of their blasters charged and ready to go. “FIRE!,” a hailstorm of ki blasts entered the back of the vehicle leaving none alive. “Let the rebellion die this day,” the leader of the group shouted as did his men. Fasha nodded her head noting that to cross the PTO most certainly ment death.
