Joseph Champion 2

The monk sat, legs crossed and eyes closed floating in the lotus position a meter or so off the ground. The last several years of his life passed very slowly inside the chamber of time, and the now sixteen year old contemplated many things about the future of the universe and its current state of affairs, weighing more than a little on his mind. He sought focus, clarity. As he sat though, he felt a familiar aura he had not for what felt like a very long time. He stood and walked to the racks of gear at the edge of the sparring arena and ruffled through his old pack. He brushed his fingers against the crimson jewel and felt a sudden rush to all of his senses as he found himself face to face with an old friend.

Joseph was in his room crossed legged as he entered a meditative state then was drawn into the astral realm. "Oh hey Krillin, how have you been?"

Krillin smiled at his old friend. It has almost as if he hadn't aged a day. Then he realized for Joseph that it had been just short months since they spoke, not years. He was still not as tall as the younger warrior but that was a concern for another time. "I've been well", stated Krillin, "It's been a while, how are things with you?"

"Things have been ok," Joseph answered. At the moment he was on his way to Yaidrat, it seemed that the one who conquered it was defecting from the Fallen and that could mean an opportunity to train with the Elder.

"On my way to Kanassa myself," said the monk with a nod, " I suppose we all must be better prepared to face the threat ahead." It was true, in their short lifetimes this was probably the biggest threat the sentient races had ever faced. "Speaking of preparing, care for a quick training session?" It had been a while since the two had fought, and it was obvious the two had both made leaps and bounds in their training since last time. The monk's curiosity was as usual in overdrive.

"I'm actually going there after Yaidrat." He said. "Sure, I've been wanting to fight you for a while actually."
The Demi-Earthling rose his arms up to nose eye level and placed his feet next to each other for the stance to be square, he kept his elbows straight and his arms in. "Ready when you are."

Krillin smiled and drifted back down to the ground, lightly stepping down onto the soft ground. He gave a quick bow of respect, then gave a wicked smile and crouched low, sweeping one leg in front of him as the monks senses went into overdrive, the battle lust taking control of the normal composed warrior.

Joseph was forced to raise his leg before he could return a bow of his own, he then moved in to press some action himself by stepping forward and shooting his left arm forward twice for a double jab as he moved in.
The Demi Earthling then stepped to the side swinging his arm from a sharply bent slow to deliver a hook.
