Ticho: Combat rune and The Lost Sparring Regimen (+1 DP per Spar)
Kari: n/a
Kari: n/a
Ticho:
The warm sun shone down on the scholar as he stood in the middle of an open plain. It was a nice calm place in the dream realm to get away from the cold outside world.
Holding a book in hand, he did some light reading though kept one eye out in case anyone decided to join him.
Kari:
Suddenly a door appeared out of thin air in front of the pink-haired girl. Part of her wanted to leave it, but she shook that hesitation off. She grabbed for the knob to open a new world or rather one that looked calm and tame.
“This is too calm to be my happy place,” she muttered and then the air started to grow chilly, creating an icy breeze around the open field.
Lately the cold was starting to become what she liked. The cold presented her with better chances in combat. It also helped remind her that she wasn’t hotheaded like her father.
Ticho:
It was always intriguing to find other individuals within this realm. Sometimes their entrance was equally intriguing and the scholar raised an eyebrow as a door manifested itself about 20 feet away.
As the door opened, the warmth around Ticho was replaced with a brisk chill. A pink haired girl emerged who slightly resembled the man he met in this world not too long ago.
"Oh? Do come in. Make yourself at home," the saiyan remarked. His tone was welcoming but contained a hint of sarcasm. He'd come here to get out of the cold, but decided to let the change to this section of land remain so as to be hospitable.
Kari:
She was knew where she was, it was the astral realm. She, however, didn’t know who was here that summoned her. Or did someone summon her? The pink-haired woman was still unsure how it worked.
“Oh,” she said, realizing that someone was indeed there with her, “Do you live here? Hm, it’s... kinda boring here.”
She didn’t want to insult the man, but she didn’t like open plains. She wanted something to do or she’d get fidgety.
Ticho:
Looking up from his book, the intellectual gave a slight chuckle. The question wasn't exactly without merit. There were many beings that made this dimension their home, some less friendly than others.
"Not as such. I find this world to be more of a retreat from the real one to be indulged from time to time. I suppose the terrain could be considered minimalist."
With that, the plains gave way to large hills in all directions with the two of them atop one of them. "Is this more to your liking?"
Kari:
A retreat from the real world, that was a good way to describe that realm or at least from her experiences. Maybe it would help if she tried, but her mind was too cluttered for her to attempt such a feat. She didn't know what she want and therefore, no change would happen until she was sure.
"Hm" she looked over into the horizon, "It's better but I just had an idea."
With her hand, she caused a wave of ice to slide down the hills to create an icy slide. She then looked around for something to use as a sled, but she couldn't. Would it really be a problem if they didn't use anything?
"Last one down is a rotten egg!" she said and then jumped onto one of them to surf down the ice.
Ticho:
A slide of ice? Well that was new. He'd seen videos of various individuals sliding down snowy hills on sets of long planks. They called it 'Skiing.'
With a shrug, the saiyan put away his book. "Well why not?" he remarked as he leapt onto the ice to follow.
The stranger had taken a considerable head start. Then again no rules had been discussed before this little contest began. Spinning around, the scholar shouted at the top of his lungs, allowing the Shockwave to considerably hasten his descent.
"What will you do now?" the intellectual inquired with a smile as he passed his competitor.
Kari:
The waves emitted from the Saiyan caused the pink-haired Zaunite to slightly lose her balance and then she attempted to catch herself. Thankfully, she was able to with her arms held out to counter the weight. She honestly didn't expect the stranger to get mixed up in her antics, it was fun.
"You'll have to do better than that--" she started to say, but it appeared that her balance hadn't fully recovered.
The slippery ice proved to be too slippery and caused her feet to slide backwards. Her body then went forward as she fell face first into the ice, but continued to slide. A pout showed up on her face, she hated to be embarrassed.
"You got lucky..." she huffed in response.
