The Damaskian sighed heavily as he pulled the phone out, an older model that was hard to detect without a direct line to it as he called his friend, Yan, as he kicked at a few cultist that lay on the ground, "Yo, Yan? When are ya gonna get your ass over here so we can catch up? I've been waitin' for a while." Normally quite cold to strangers, the familiarity and ease with which the Damaskian spoke would have shocked his other superiors.

“And just when have you known me to be on time?” Yan quipped in turn. He wiped his hands against each other as he finished his ‘business,’ looking over it for a moment longer. “Did you figure out what you want to do while we catch up?” he said, always with half a flirt though more playful. He didn’t really care what they did. Could just be cleaning up bodies. “I’ll be there in a moment.”

The Damaskian chuckled as he shifted the phone and grabbed one of the bodies and pulled it up. The guy still breathed, but the Shadowguard member tossed the body back down. "I guess we gatta clean up this area a bit. Found that nest of cultists while I waited by the bar. You'd think they found a great place to hide, but I guess my new face gave them the idea to try'n recruit me." Did he kill them all? Probably not. "Could just leave this as a message to 'em, or we can clear the whole nest out."

"Aw, you just want me to do more work," the monkey complained, shutting the door behind him and skipping a few steps before almost vanishing. The next person to open that door was in for a dreadful surprise, but it was no longer his problem. It only took him the promised moment before he was standing on his toes to look over Lucas' shoulder.
"You know, I hear cultists have a good instinct to finding needy looking people that might be more susceptible to their religion," he teased, before grinning.

"Perhaps I was looking for something before," the former merc replied. He wore casual clothing, or maybe more for him. It was fairly motorbike heavy, with a brown jacket. Lucas didn't really look over his shoulder as his eyes glowed blue. "Too bad they didn't know that I already found what I needed." The Damaskian smiled as he grabbed a pistol from it's holster and pointed it at the cultist hideout. "I could just blow their hole away?"

“Oh? What did you find?” he asked, half knowing already but wanting the more personal answer. It always interested him how Damaskians fed into their own cult of Clark Pendragon.
He paused however at the suggestion, then shook his head. “That’s very impersonal. The sought you out with purpose didn’t they?”

"I don't mind telling you, Yan. Because it won't fit the other Damaskian answers." He grinned before he pulled the trigger, and fired one of the destructive ki blasts through the barrel. The hole hissed as he struck a barrier.
"What a shame," he grunted. The Damaskian looked back at Yan and said, "I came back because it's finally turned away from the old Damaskia that my parents used. I left since it was still similar when I left."

“What do you mean?” he asked, not sure he saw a huge difference in things. His history with Damaskia was quite short however, and certainly didn’t pass generations. He just couldn’t imagine the militant police state ever being any different than what it was.
